Got the fried chicken and waffles served with warm syrup which was nice. Ordered the sweet tea and a side of fries as well. The plate of fries was larger than I expected so I took a take home plate for that. The service was great, I didn't even have to ask for refills cause the bartender was so aware that she just kept refilling my drink when it was empty. That was a nice experience, and I left a great trip. The place wasn't too crowded and had plenty of seating. I definitely recommend this spot.

What an amazing restaurant. I started with pork nachos, followed by Tuna Tango salad, and rounded the meal with Beignet Bites. Everything was fantastic. This may have been one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. Staff is friendly, dress is casual and prices are fair.

We came here during the early afternoon on a Saturday. Not a lot of people at that time, which was nice to be able to take in the restaurant itself. Beautiful layout! Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. I had the Shrimp Tacos for my meal. A lot goes into each taco and the taste is great.

I had high hopes for this place and really wanted to like it. I got the chicken & waffles but the waffle was soggy. I don't recall what was on the chicken, it was sweet and somewhat spicy, however it was ice cold and therefore made the chicken cold. For me, that made the dish inedible. Our waitress was sweet so we didn't make a big deal of it and took it to go. It just made me believe that New Orleans isn't a place for foodies.

We were a bit hesitant because of the reviews, but man! This place was really great! We also had the crawfish Queso and it was awesome! But honestly the best thing was the garlic fries with the steak, it was ridiculously delicious. The staff were friendly and food got there quick. 10/10 would eat there again

Nice atmosphere. Food and drinks were great. We ordered a mixture of things such included the fried oysters, parm-truffle fries, brussel sprouts, and the Watermelon Crawl. Looking forward to returning for brunch.

Giving this place a 3.5 stars. Came in early on a Sunday and had to sit at the bar. The bar tender was very polite. I ordered the beef brisket with grits and potatoes. The beef brisket was very moist and cooked perfect. The downside were the grits. They were not that creamy(made with water) needed some more butter, salt & pepper. The breakfast potatoes were decent. Feedback, work on the grits please. These could be an amazing dish.

The Legacy Kitchen Craft Tavern crew came together to give us the best customer service. We were sat in a section with a waiter who seamed not to want to serve us. He had 5 tables, two who were finishing when we sat down. He took our drink order and never came back. He took orders from other tables, brought checks, ran cards, and brought the cards back. We looked at him like we are ready to order but he continued to pass us by. The bartender brought our drinks and asked if we need anything. We explained what was going on and she had the other staff (hostess, another waitress, and the head chef) to help make our dining experience a great one. The food and drinks were delicious. We did not ask to be compensated for our troubles. We tipped the hostess, the other waitress 20% of the 100+ dollar meal, and the bartender for being so amazing! We will be back as we live in New Orleans.

We stopped in for a late breakfast on the last day of our trip. It was great to get away from all the crowds and sit down without having to wait for a table. We went with a simple eggs and bacon breakfast and finished it off with some beignets. The Beignets were the best we had while on the trip and we stopped a few times at the more popular locations. Overall, worth the 10 minute walk away from the crowds

While it took about 10 minutes to get service at the bar once Kenya took my order there were no delays. In their defense they do have a sign saying things may take a bit longer, hopefully they are taking advantage of it. While the service was good the po boy roast beef sandwich barely had any meat on it on it and was a bit too salty but that could be my preferences. The fries were very tasty but hopefully my experience with barely any meat on the sandwich was an anomaly

The food was mixed: the Gris Gris oysters were fantastic, some other items like the crawfish beignets were a bit bland. The service was slow, but the staff were courteous and helpful. Wouldn't be my first choice, but a solid option if you're in the area.

The food was great! We came back the next day. A great place for brunch. The atmosphere was nice. I had the All American Beinget-wich on the first visit and the American breakfast on the second. The staff was hard working and efficient. They work their waffles off! Especially Jenna and Regginique! Love the place!

Comfort food restaurant associated with a hotel. Menu is not great if you're trying to eat healthy, especially by limiting carbs. Service is not very good and the restaurant closes quite early in the evening. Lunch time gets very busy.

Michelle was so helpful even took our photo. Elisha was a great server very quick and answered all my questions.the food was excellent. Our group of six had breakfast here 3 days each getting something different and each day's meal was amazing. The poached eggs are from scratch and perfectly cooked the well done steak was juicy the chicken and waffles can't be beat the bananas foster waffle was the perfect texture and flavor. The coffee is great and our server was quick with refills

Lunch (i.e. the food) was awesome! I love their menu options, but wish we had arrived before noon to experience their brunch. Maybe next time. The food was delicious, especially the Truffle Parmesan Fries. The industrial-style decor and ambiance was a different feel for dining in the city, but much-welcomed. My only wish is that the service was a little better. The team there seems to have a good time with each other, which is great, but it should not come at the expense of high-quality service for your customers. Otherwise, this would have been 5-stars. Maybe next time (as I do plan to revisit), perhaps during my next trip to NOLA.

I really love this place. It has a cozy feel. The food is incredible. I ordered the Tuna and another time I ordered the chicken Ceasars and substituted the tuna for chicken. I enjoyed my meal. The tuna was fresh. The bartenders make incredible drinks. They are knowledgeable and have true talent. My only suggestion is the bartenders refrain from talking bad about the restaurant in front of customers. Also, it would be more inviting if the bartenders refrain from wearing clothing which has sayings and statements which could be perceived as derogatory or rude. A uniform would be better so everyone presents themselves in the best possible light. Otherwise, I love this place.

My husband and I love this restaurant so much, we stay in the hotel it is connected to because we know breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner are always excellent. Fast, cheerful staff along with yummy food and a great location are a few of the attributes here. It is clean, smells nice, prices are practical. We find it refreshing that the staff are excellent and cheerful. Tonight we had Tiffany who made sure everything was perfect. Today for lunch I had Tuna Tango Salad that was delicious. We went sightseeing and about 4pm, picked up their beignets then went back for dinner. I had the reddish dinner - so excellent, served with crawfish cornbread. My husband loved the gumbo. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Located in a great area in the CBD, this location is perfect for foot traffic & to drive in as well. This particular day, we stopped in because our original destination was closed, bah-humbug. So we happened upon this restaurant and proceed in our dining efforts. Upon entry we saw all the regular COVID notifications & postings... ok!!! The place was basically empty, so we had the run of the place. We were quickly seated, but opted to relocate to a different are of the restaurant, no one wants to sit near the bathroom. Smh. Once seated, our server was very pleasant & gave recommendations as asked. Food & drinks were ordered, we were enjoying the ambiance & one another's company. Food was presented & it wasn't as expected. We ordered: oysters, chicken & waffles, veggie club sandwich, wings & fries. Tips of the wings were burned, the chicken & waffle entree was not easily managed ie not easy to cut for eating and the fries were MIA & a few of the oysters were shriveled up & charred. It is to be noted, all the food problems were brought to the attention of the server & the folks in the kitchen were apt to "make it right", but for me it was quite surprising that this even happened as the restaurant was pretty empty. I was encouraged that a gentleman from the kitchen ACTUALLY came from the kitchen to address our woes. The rest of the food was ok & the night was stellar because of the company. The food was actually good, the problem is the service, took our server 30 minutes to put in our food order, then when she finally brought it out food was room temperature, I would go again maybe they were just having a bad night

Went with friends before the Boo parade with the intention of a round of drinks and some small plates. Service was friendly but flustered. Being a server is hard enough, doing it in a costume must be whole other level difficult. Spinach and artichoke dip was a bit bland for my taste. Chips were warm and crisp. Tuna mango salad was spot on; my companion said it was delicious. The biggest issue was the dozen fresh oysters. They were not shucked properly, leaving the oyster attached to the shell by the adductor muscle. The only way to get the oyster off the shell was to pry at it with a fork, leaving the adductor behind, wasted, on the shell. After removing the top shell, a knife should be run beneath the oyster, disengaging it completely from the lower shell. The only items on the ice, other than the oysters was a small cup of horseradish and cocktail sauce. No lemons, hot sauce, saltines were offered. No plates were ever brought to the table. The Louisiana Mules were wonderful. A double Titos was extremely short on the pour.

Great place. Was near our hotel and as a first timer in Nola I thought I would try something different so I got the crawfish eggs Benedict. I'm not easily impressed but this was AMAZING! next time I'm back I'll definitely stop in again.

Wife and I decided to stop by for brunch as their brunch menu offered standard fare and some unique options. First impression of the interior was one of amazement. Given the restaurants location it had a very industrial feel while maintaining a refined elegance. By all rights it shouldn't have worked but it did and we loved it. Staff was friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were delicious. We each had coffee and my wife had the Southern Belle craft cocktail, both of which were excellent. We also shared an order of their beignets which were large and served hot and fresh with a healthy amount of powdered sugar. For our entrees, she had the Cajun scrambler and I had the Beignet-wich, with a side order of cottage potatoes as I was concerned the Beignet-wich wouldn't be filling enough (it was). We ended up not being able to finish everything and brought the remainder of our potatoes and the scrambler home for lunch the next day. For the quality of food and service, location and atmosphere, and portion sizes, Legacy Kitchen Craft Tavern was a wonderful dining experience and we hope to return again on another visit to New Orleans.

Above-average hotel fare, but a bit overpriced. The service was good, but the floors didn’t look like they had been cleaned from the night before. We liked the aesthetic of the restaurant, however; probably a cozy, fun spot to spend a Friday or Saturday night!

Surprised by the creativity of the breakfast menu. So many tempting things to try! Recommend sharing the fried chicken waffle with pepper jelly or getting the beignets with crawfish sauce. Servers are friendly too

We went here tonight. Great happy hour. Appetizers were excellent. Brussel sprouts and Loaded Nachos were well prepared and very reasonably priced. It was a pleasure watching our bartender Chris mix his drinks and interact with the patrons. He is a true professional, the kind you usually only see at 5 star restaurants.

Our server was amazing, had personality and had great recommendations (forgot his name!). He even went as far as to give is a sample of the crawfish sauce that was part of a dish, before we ordered. Such warm service that I didn't even notice this restaurant is part of a hotel. The decor is interesting. It was pretty quiet and empty like alot of the places around this area during covid.

Went here for breakfast before touring the WWII museum and decided to come back for lunch to take in the happy hour specials. Unfortunately no oysters due to the flooding of the Mississippi River however Danny and Alex made it worth the visit despite not having any. We were given recommendations and were entertained. We were told this building was the original Higgins boat making sites and the pillars inside are original.

Love this place. Beautiful inside, they had a shuffleboard table which I love! The drinks were amazing and the delicious. I did get pictures because after walking everywhere I was to hungry to wait. This is the best Manhattan I've had in my visits to New Orleans. I totally recommend getting the Tavern Manhattan made by Mike. The ambiance here is great and it's slightly off the crowded path so you can get a seat and spot at the bar.

The food is alright. The Green Chili Burger is actually rather bland. The service is ok. I've been here many times and my drink is always allowed to run empty which is a big pet peeve of mine. *Update 04/25/17* The service was much better this time around. I had the chicken and waffles which were pretty good. The beignets were pretty decent, not as good as Cafe Du Monde, but then again, no other beignets are.

We arrived in New Orleans on a Friday evening after an 11 hour drive. After getting checked into our hotel, we walked a block to the LKCT to have a relaxing dinner. My daughter ordered the gumbo, which was delicious. I ordered the Tuna Tango salad, and ate the tuna and just a small portion of the salad greens (the salad was huge, but was mostly greens). However, I barely made it the short walk back to the hotel before I violently threw up my entire meal. I'm not sure if the salad greens were bad (they were a little soggy, and I couldn't tell if that was from the salad dressing or if they were past their "best by" date). The tuna appeared to be okay (and was deliciously prepared) because my daughter tried some of it, but did not get sick like I did. After I threw up twice to get it all out, I still felt a little nauseous, but did not have any other vomiting and felt fine the next morning. Otherwise, the flavor of the salad was really good, my daughter liked her dinner, and the restaurant atmosphere was really nice and relaxing and was not too crowded. Our waitress Brittany was very pleasant and responsive as well.

The hostess was fabulous. Warm, inviting and aware. When she seen that I hadn’t been served in 15 minutes she made sure someone came out. Unfortunately that’s where the good service stopped. It wasn’t very busy in the restaurant yet I was there for a good hour and the food arrived warm at best. The nachos had no queso, only shredded cheese so they were dry until I added bbq sauce.

The server was not friendly or hopeful with general questions about cocktails or the items on the menu. The TV' were blasting two two soccer games where having a normal conversation was impossible. The chicken was extremely overcooked and cold and lettuce was wilted.

We came here for a large group business lunch (23 people)! Service was decent and no issues with the kitchen. It was a Monday lunch, so thankfully not very busy so we were able to eat and get back to our meetings on time. I had the fried shrimp appetizer and seared ahi tuna salad (dressing on the side) which were both tasty

Great place out of the crowd of the French Quarter. We had the pasta dish, and red fish dinners. Both were large helpings and really delicious. Jonathan was our server and he was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. We even got beignets to go. You can't go wrong eating here.

Tasty food, slow and forgetful service. Cocktails made incorrectly and the server wrote nothing down, which is probably why he got our cocktails wrong. No pre bussing and no manager touch of our table until we had to ask the host for a manager. It seemed like the server had little training and no management help.

Had a great evening. Table Was assigned to the bartender due to shortage of waitors . Great people are working here with a good sense of humor. Seemed that everybody helped everybody. We were unlucky with our food choice, First the tuna sold out, then the substitute Shrimps cocktail also out, so we endet up with fresh oysters. Except the Burger food Was quite good. Honestly the friendly staff made the difference that night.

Went for a wine pairing dinner as part of the NOWFE. While the food was good and the staff was excellent, the obnoxiously loud patrons made it not as enjoyable. It also didn't help that some douche had the only television near my table changed to something he wanted, as if nobody else existed. While the food and staff were amazing, the experience is not something I care to have again.

Food was really good! I got the grilled tuna salad that was amazing!!! There were no oysters, which was a bummer but totally understandable as they are in short supply at this moment due to hurricane Ida. Our server had laryngitis and you could tell that they were trying to communicate as best as possible, but they powered through and gave us excellent service.

My experience here was phenomenal! My server was the best. She explained every entree and app to us. She had recommendations, and the choices didn't disappoint. What I like mostly about this restaurant was the food and definitely the server. If you're ever in New Orleans at the Legacy Kitchen, please ask for Jarlai. You will be glad that you did👌🏽 SN:We had the Pecan Smoked Wings as an App, Garden District Club and Shrimp Taco as the entrees.

Beautiful space with really wonderful staff. Bartender was Jarlai and she was a sweetheart on her first solo bar shift and she did so well rolling with the punches. She made delicious drinks, gave me great food recommendations and made sure to point me to happy hour stuff. The food was glorious. The food was amazing the service was a bit negligent. We arrived and were immediately seated with menus. We sat for 15 minutes with no drinks or food. Another couple sat and was immediately given drinks and appetizers. It took us in total an hour and a half to get our food. The manager was very apologetic and sincere, comping our bill. All in all we were satisfied.

Awesome atmosphere and Staff! We just arrived in NOLA and was starving! Had crawfish queso, shrimp cocktail, parmesean fries , Chargrilled oysters,and finished it off with bread pudding. The bread pudding isn't what I'm used to bread pudding being up in Tennessee, but it was still tasty! Everything was delicious, except the coca cola was flat. Switched to sweet tea and it was perfect. Crawfish queso and chips was my favorite. Shrimp cocktail was good,but how special can shrimp cocktail be right? Oysters were a step above good. And bread pudding was great! Our server as well as the other servers and even the hostess were wonderful and made us feel at home. If you're in the area and want to relax and have a nice meal,definitely try them out!

Even on a holiday (Mardi Gras Day), the wait was relatively short, the wait staff was attentive, the drinks were stiff, and the food was fresh! We devoured the grand oyster stack as our appetizer. We ordered the pulled pork, chicken and waffle, tuna salad, and bbq shrimp and grits and all of it was amazing. Will definitely be dining here again because even we locals love this place.

I loved this place! Everyone was super nice and everything came at a good time. Our server, Genevieve, was amazing. She’s excellent. I got the cheeseburger and fries. Excellent. My husband got the corn and crab bisque and it was the best I had ever tasted. But none of that matters. Only one thing really mattered to me. The Lemon Icebox Pie. It was the best thing I had ever eaten. It was a little hard to get through the crust but it was worth the work. I cannot wait to go back though and get it again one day.

Came here after a horrible experience at "Meryls" where they rolled their eyes more than once at us. We came here and immediately felt welcomed. The hostess was sweet and our server made us feel like we were regulars. I was kinda drunk so I can't remember her name we also had a male server with a man bun who was as sweet to the ear as to the eyes. Food was excellent. The beignets were amazing. Fresh and the special coffee they made me was to die for.

I have eaten here many times and have never had anything that was not delicious. My favorites are the chargrilled oysters, tuna stack and tuna tango. I visited recently and met the bartender, Jarlai and Mr. Rodney from the kitchen. Both were so personable and went out of their ways to make sure me and the other patrons were happy.

We came here 4 times during our stay in New Orleans and always left happy. The service was excellent. Food was great. It was open on Christmas day too which was rare as all restaurants were closed. Unlike other reviewers, we found the food to have no salt added, which was great as other places overload with salt. The prices are reasonable considering the venue. Definitely recommend going.

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable wrapped with large glass windows on a corner. The spinach dip was delicious, but unfortunately my shrimp and popcorn rice was not. The sauce tasted "off" and I would have sent it back and ordered something else if the service hadn't been so slow. When we arrived the restaurant was almost completely empty and wasnt beginning to fill up until we left. If I visit NOLA again I would probably skip giving this restaurant another try since it was the only place during my trip that I didn't enjoy my food. NOLA has some amazing restaurants, this was not one of them.

Chicken and Waffles were delicious.... the best!! However, our waiter was a little slow and nonchalant. I paid with cash .... my bill was $20 and some change, I gave him $25. I never said keep the change and he never asked if I wanted change. He brought me no change.!He just took it upon himself to keep my change as a tip. Was I gonna give him the change?? Yes I was, but I should be able to make that decision according to the service I receive. Really made my great meal turn sour!! Pretty “ballsy” of him.

Service is shakey. Food is delicious. Ate here twice this past weekend and the food was great both times. The first time the server forgot to bring change for a bill paid with cash even after saying he would come right back with it. The second time the server forgot the ordered drinks. They give you water first and then ask for your drink order. I think that made it really confusing to them whether you had just water or your actual drink. In the second case, the server didn't come back at all since the food was served until check out time. I will add that once told about the slip up, they fixed us to go drinks and didn't charge for them which was nice. So the service is far from perfect, but the food was delicious both times and I'd be willing to give it a third try next time.

Can't even begin to describe the meal that we had the other night at Legacy Kitchen!! We had a friendly server and were quickly seated. My friend ordered the BBQ shrimp and Grits and was in heaven. She said it was one of the best meals she's ever had. I had a taste of it and yes it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was extremely large and delicious. Drinks:As per usual in New Orleans the drinks here are strong!!! Great bartender.

Great Customer Service!!! We had 10 minutes to order. We asked if we needed to place the order to go and the server said no, the kitchen doesn’t close until 11:00. We were shocked!! Our food was served as if we had arrived earlier in the day. We were not rushed to eat. The restaurant was very accommodating. I really appreciate that level of customer service and there was no attitude of inconvenience.

Been here only because it's the hotel where my work books our stay and it's "convenient" but every time I try to go in with a positive outlook and the service disappoints every time. Slow service, sarcastic attitudes, and long wait periods even when it's not busy. The servers don't try to accommodate anyone with a special diet or request and without even asking the kitchen they give some excuse as to why they can't, usually because they say it's busy but each time I've been there have only been about five tables seated. I've served at a few restaurants and it's clear there's a lack of morale and pride in what they're doing. The only reason there are still stars is because the food isn't bad.

We visited late in the evening, they weren't busy but everything took FOREVER. From the time we walked in and waited to be seated to the server coming to get the order. We ordered an app and side for dinner because it was late and didn't want anything too heavy. The server asked if we wanted it all together but each item came out individually. Including my dessert then a few minutes later the coffee. That being said once we were served the food was amazing, have the bread pudding it was nearly perfect. The biggest issue I had was lukewarm coffee which should never happen.

It was $10 for the beignet breakfast sandwich. I was excited to try it but it seemed a little pricey. Boy was I wrong. The sandwich was huge and delicious. The eggs were fluffy. The beignet has a touch of sweetness. I dont eat bacon but if you do I'm sure that adds to the flavors as well. I highly recommend.

My daughter and I were in New Orleans for a concert and we had to eat here this morning! I had eaten at Legacy a few months ago with my husband. We ate breakfast and it was delicious! The biegnets were perfect! My only suggestion is that you offer breakfast much later since out of town guests may still want breakfast food and beignets past 10:30. :)

My issue here is that a bacon cheesburger is 17$. Keep in mind that there were no frills or special sauces, ect. It was not a signature burger in ant way. I dont understand how a 13$ burger doesnt include cheese. That is ridiculous. The burger was worth maybe 12$.
