Great restaurant with very fine cuisine perfectly prepared. Awesome hosts and servers. Great location. Inside or patio dining sets the perfect mood for any occasion. The stuffed jalapeños are outstanding. The oysters are huge and very fresh! Its worth the money 💰 but by no means is it over priced!

Honey! I have been many places and had what I THOUGHT was the best of the best, but the LOBSTER TAIL and the crab cake at this place, changed my mind! I was mad I didn’t order more! Have you ever had food so good, you were looking for ways to have it delivered? Listen, I live in NC so we are not too far from the ocean and have seafood options available. Honey, this restaurant put us to shame!!! The peach Palmer is a must! Imagine having great food and having an incredible view of the lake at the same time! Lawd have mercy! Great food and great prices! I will definitely be returning! New Orleans, and Landry’s show that food is truly the way to a persons heart!!

The staff was really helpful to my father and I when we dined in at Landry's today. Our server, Bruna, was so kind and patient with us while serving us up. She was very natural at her job, and wasn't "fake nice" to us like other servers would be at other restaurants. The restaurant looked very clean and was close to the Lakeshore (nice "boaty" views). My father had their Red Snapper ($36.00), and I had their Crab Cakes ($40.00). So delicious! The crab cakes were so flavorful, while my father said that his meal was well seasoned. For the crab cakes meal, there were grits and sliced bell peppers on the side. For the red snapper meal, there were ground beef rice & sliced bell peppers on the side. They were also good. For the drinks, I had their Peach Solstice Sangria ($10.00)...it was also very good. Price wise, it was above average, but we already expected that since this restaurant had 3 dollar signs as their status for pricing. For the flavors of the food and the amazing service quality, I'd say it's worth the money once in a while!

Nice big parking lot. Prime location on the water. I took the elevator, because the restaurant is up on floor 2. Came out on floor 2 a few feet from the front desk. There were a few people talking there. I asked for a table for one. It's lunchtime...there was the side with the bar where everyone was seated, a few extra empty tables, and another side, completely empty and I'm not sure the lights were on there. Anyway, the server took me to the empty side to seat me... table for one..out of sight of others.... I asked her if I could be seated on the other side, "you know..with people". I think she was new because she went back to the front desk to see if I could be seated with others. Anyway, I got a table on the edge of the dining room. The server was nice, it was just weird if she was being trained they would tell her to do that. THE FOOD: My appetizer was jalapeños stuffed with seafood. On a bed of crispy onion strings, was delicious. The seafood flavor was mild and creamy. The jalapeno was fried and had good heat. My entree was Southern Fried Fish with fries and onion strings. A house salad on the side was great. The fried fish...light and tender and a good size. The fries tasty, and again..onion strings..delicious.

This Landry's is well staffed. Our server was fantastic, spending ample time with us explaining the specials - which we got and were delicious. There's a lot of value on the menu and it's cajun-ish. The fish was perfectly prepared with a delicious sauce. The fresh hot bread is a real treat and should not be passed up.

We went today, Oct. 21, 2022 for a late lunch. What can I say about this place, other than YUMMY!!! For appetizers we had the New Orleans crawfish bread, and the crab & poblano fondue. Both dishes were seasoned well, and they were not stingy on the seafood. The handmade tortilla chips that came with the fondue was soft and so tasty. The gumbo didn't have okra, which I prefer. And the crab & corn bisque was creamy that first taste like sweet corn but ends with a spicy heat. So Good!! And let's not forget about the view. You can see Lake Pontchartrain from almost any table to watch the boats come & go. Our server Jimmy, was great and very informative about the menu and specials. Since our Louisiana weather temperatures are changing, We plan to back!!! If you've never experienced Landrys, GEAUX, you won't regret it.

We, my son, daughter-in-law and I went to Landry's Seafood House to celebrate my first year in New Orleans. They asked me where I would like to go and I said for sea food. I looked at several places GW Fins, Peche, and others. I thought the menu at Peche sounded the most interesting. GW Fins was expensive. But my son thought it would be nice to oversee the lake. There were 3 places right next to each other Felix's, the Blue Crab and Landry's. Landry's was the furthermost out on the lake. The other two as best as I could guess overlooked the marina. As it turned out it was a stormy day and a dark night. The only thing we really saw was one sail boat motoring into the marina. But we did have a wonderful view of the Light House which still lights a beacon at night. Landry's was good and had a wide menu. We had a shareable appetizer with blacken shrimp on a bed of crab meat and a small pile of rice. It was tasty and enjoyable. Then my daughter-in-law and I had one of the chiefs recommended dishes "Redfish Hemingway". It was a filet of redfish with a crab meat in a sauce for a topping, a couple of asparagus spears and pimento cheese grits. The fish was good the crab meat was wonderful, the sweetest I ever tasted. I ate the grits thinking they were mashed potatoes. I would have been leery of the them if I had known the were grits. I was only familiar with the style of grits in a breakfast cereal. I have tried them with sugar and milk but they still were like eating sand, very gritty. The grits served here were completely different. As I said they had a consistency of mashed potatoes. So I learned to like something new. We finished off with Bread Pudding in a whisky sauce. It was new to me too. Very nice if somewhat heavy way to finish. The reason I only gave 3 stars was while everything was excellent, and the service was good, it is a chain restaurant and somehow seemed so. That maybe snobby but that was the way I felt. The bill was $200 with tip. A good dinner and over all I would recommend it.

Oh my goodness! So, so yummy! We shared the crawfish bread as an appetizer. I had the red fish with crawfish etoufee. My husband had the broiled seafood platter and we shared the cinnamon bread pudding. Y'all! It was the best!

Mike was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive to our table and made sure we were all comfortable. Our cups were constantly refilled without even having to ask and he was very kind. The food itself was delicious and there are huge portions. The view for outside dining was also beautiful.

Situated on the lake front, the views from the restaurant while you dig into your food are beautiful, especially if you go at sunset. The menu is large and provides a wide range of seafood so there will certainly be something for everyone. The food itself is expertly prepared and tastes delicious. The only reason this establishment does not get 5 stars is the last two times I have been, the service has been slow and below the bar set by my previous experience. Overall, a very good restaurant that I would recommend to anyone that doesn't mind spending a little extra for high quality seafood.

I love this place. When I walk in I feel like I'm home. Here they treat you like family. Heather is an incredible bartender with a huge heart. She lights up the room and makes her guests feel welcomed. They have drink specials. I tried the Autumn drink special with apples. It is absolutely amazing. Perfect drink for looking at the sailboats on the lake. Great people. Fantastic conversations. My only suggestion would be to have the bartenders present their best self behind the bar. Heather has her hair braided or she wears it so that her hair is not in my food or drinks. The bartenders would look better in a more flattering uniform with hair pulled back or braided.

My wife and I moved away from New Orleans to NW Georgia. The food in the area is horrible, no character. One of our favorites on the Lakefront is Landry's. We had a great dinner but the thing that made it special is Charles, out waiter, He is an ambassador of New Orleans, great hospitality and read our minds before we even asked for something. He is the best of the best and made us feel like family. Our meal was delicious, flavorful and the setting sun on the lake made it a very memorable evening. Thank you Charles!!!

First time eating here and very impressed. Food was wonderful and the waiter was great don't remember his name but he was very helpful with food choices and questions asked about New Orleans. Definitely plan on going back. Highly recommend eating here.

Marco was a fantastic waiter. I love the ambulance in the place as well as the gulf side view out back. I will say that I had to reorder my crawfish bread because it was as hard as a brick; but, it was super delicious after getting the second one. That was extremely disappointing.

We come here every time we head over to the lake. We have tried to the other restaurants along the strip,but Landry's seems to have the must variety. We usually always order alot as we enjoy eating. This time it was only a party of 2 adults and a 1 years old.. We still order a good bit. Food here is very consistent. We sat outside and the location we had was horrible. The fans they had on was blowing full force to the point the table next to us order a beer and their menu blew off and hit their beer which spill all over their 3 years old. I personally thought our table was horrible cause our menu was blowing off and put hair was blowing all over the place. Anyways since it was so pack we just try to not let us bother us and held tight to the menu. We order and did came out. The fan was blowing so hard that our food got could within minutes. So we literally has to eat fast. Ours server was running behind ,but we know he had 8 table to run. So we didn't let it bother us. Overall experience. It wasn't so great. Since we are easy people we can tolerate it. But if it was other's. I think others would complain. I knew the entire section everyone that sat in the same area was all complaining that they had the worst table. They just didn't realize that it wasn't just their table it was the entire outside upstairs seating which was facing main entrance. Anyways food made up for it so... I works say we come back in a few months.

Enjoyed Mother’s Day Lunch with my wonderful wife and daughter!! Very Long Wait - 1-1/2 hours to be seated. Then, the wait was over. We were seated; had a nice waiter, Jason, who was knowledgeable. After ordering, Appetizers came quickly (~5 minutes) and were delicious. About 5 minutes later, the main course came. The redfish had mouth-watering flavors. We topped the lunch off with Cinnamon Bread Pudding!! We dined outside; a nice pleasant day ... warm but a very nice breeze! Scenery of the Lake with boats going out into the lake to and from the Marina!! Very Enjoyable!! Thanks Jason for your knowledge and good service!! Also, a big thanks to Kierstyn, the young bartender, who went out of her way!!

Food taste is noted to be different depending on the cook and if the recipe is being followed or altered. We knew it would taste good but not better because a particular cook who is known to follow the recipe wasn't at work, we checked.

Balcony seating overlooking the marina and lake is wonderful. Food is mediocre. On this occasion, I had a beer and chips with artichoke/spinach cheese dip. Total for chips, beer, and dip was $28 (that includes the $4 tip).

On vacation with the family and wanted to find a place to eat with a view of the lake. This restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious! The staff were all nice as well and very helpful. I’d recommend Landry’s to anyone looking for great food in New Orleans! Our view was out behind the restaurant. My almost-three-year-old loved seeing all of the boats. Other views showed the lighthouse and the lake!

Traveling by and had dinner here. The staff was wonderful. I believe our server's name was Dephney. She was a delight. We had the fried and broiled seafood plates. Very good! Would strongly recommend. We also had a lovely view if the water and sunset.

Overpriced food and service was not good once we paid the bill and still sitting talking. They never refilled or water. Food is overpriced for small portions and not that great. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Start with dessert first - BANANAS FOSTER is worth it's weight in diamonds 💎 It is absolutely luxuriating! (This would make the most memorable dessert & coffee date with your spouse or special occasion with friends, family. Make up *any* reason to go enjoy this dessert.) Raw oysters [on the half shell] were a delightful, fantastic appetizer and I'd return just for them. The dandy Blackened Redfish Etouffee is delicious (cooked perfectly) with sauteed side veggies cut like french fries makes a very charming on the plate. Another delicious option is the Coastal Seafood Pasta, however, ask the server for the chef to up the seasonings if you're from south Louisiana. Ya'll the there is NO BAD SEAT only more chances for you to visit and experience another amazing view! If there's a wait, then wait. But try to call ahead for quick reservations for a flawless welcome straight on to your table. When you go, tell 'em Sherett said "Hey, How ya'll are? You deserve a Gold Star 🌟!"

This was end of day Christmas Day. They had double booked. And we didn’t get a table for about 20 minutes after our reservations. However, they were very understanding and trying very hard. and the place was clean, in good shape and the food was amazing. The waiter was wonderful too even though they were running out of food. It was a beautiful day to sit out side. Tiffany our waitress was on point,very polite. Food was delicious. Definitely suggest this place. Prices are fair, just right for this restaurant. Well for the end of my New Orleans trip to have my last dinner here I have to say it was well worth it the food here is absolutely delicious my appetizers were incredible I ordered the oysters Rockefeller the crawfish bread and the crab spinach artichoke FOR OUR entrees we ordered the broiled seafood platted with the pontchartrain and the shrimp+crab scampi my wife ordered the grilled shrimp with dirty rice and creole green beans the entire meal was very filling a top recommend on my list.. Wait staff was great ask for roger 👍👍👍

Hubby and myself chose here for our new years eve early dinner. Our server RONALD did not disappoint. He was charismatic and funny. Greeted us and before we knew it we had our drinks. Everything served was great...hot...and delicious. Ronald kept our drinks full and brought everything to the table we could possibly need. This guy was phenomenal!

Beautiful location in the Lakeshore area of New Orleans right on Lake Pontchartrain. Busy but organized, large dining room. Pleasant service and food was really good. Firecracker Shrimp as an appetizer is a must. Not hot or exceptionally spicy despite the name, just perfectly seasoned shrimp in a tempura batter. Good gumbo, and blackened catfish and drum were top notch. Perhaps a bit pricy but location is stellar and large glass panels let you drink it all in from inside or sit outside on the deck. If there’s a wait grab a drink at the bar, the cucumber gin drink is fantastic.

Me and my little one went to Landry's on Good Friday. It wasn't super crowded like I thought it would have been, but the wait for us was about 30 minutes for an outside table. He had the Shrimpkens - Fried shrimp, chicken tenders, and fries. I had the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip. It was good. Then I had the chef's special parmesan crusted redfish with lemon butter, lump crabmeat, pimento grits, and asparagus. I needed more seasoning on the fish. And the grits and asparagus could have been left off. It was good but did not tie into the fish. I also had a two of the cucumber sparkler mocktails. It was really good.

Omg I hate slimy okra so I asked the waiter Charles about the gumbo. He was quick to say the chicken and sausage gumbo didn’t have okra. I ordered the fried shrimp platter and a small side of gumbo. Charles is amazing! Ask for him if you want great service! Everything was delicioso!!! Fantastic view of the lake as well as the dock. Food is a little expensive if you think $22 for a platter that can feed at least 2 or 3 people is expensive! I had a great time and would come back again!

If you want to eat here, you will definitely have to call early for reservations. We tried twice and the wait was too long. We finally got in, by doing reservations with OpenTable app. It was worth the effort.

Pros: Great location! Love the water view & the fact that you can sit outside comfortably to eat. Food was good! Waiter was nice. Food came with delicious salad and bread. Cons: Expensive. $20 for a plate of pasta & $15 for a burger....$4 for starwberry lemonade & no free refill😒😒 i was thinking the food would taste amazingg but it was just *good*....nothing spectacular. We could've went to chili's or tgif for sum amazing pasta & burgers...idk i just feel like it wasnt worth the money! Also, inside dining area wasn't what i expected. Big fish on the wall & it has the *on the lake/fishing* vibe but i just thought it would be more fancy. We went there for a birthday dinner so it was nice overall 3 outta 5 from me!

At the end, I ordered dessert to go and the check. It took 30 MINUTES to get those two items. When the dessert arrived, it was plated and drizzled with something not in the description. I politely asked for a box and the check again. The gentleman at the next table commented upon seeing the pie, "Even I knew that it was to go."

This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had! For starters, I made a reservation for the wrong day, but the hostess Kaylee accommodated us with no problem and also apologized for a mistake I made. Our daughter wanted to be seated outside and she assured us that she'd try her best to accommodate that as well, which she did! Everyone was extremely kind and although busy, there was not a long wait for anything. Our waiter Stephen went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and interacted with us and our kids as if he'd known us for years. Major kudos to the staff that was on duty 4/23/2022. We will definitely be returning

Our waiter was very nice and helpful. He however, had to wait for his manager to come over and ok my food choices since I am gluten free. That took at least 20 min and was utterly ridiculous. The manager got my order wrong and I had to correct with our server. My salmon and mashed potatoes were delicious but the mixed veggies seemed like they were just skins of zucchini, some onions and peppers. The fried fish was minimal fish and maximum coating. Terrible for the price. The prices of food were ridiculously extravagant for mediocre to good food. I would not really recommend. The views were beautiful. I guess that's what you are paying for because the food wasn't really worth it.

We are Landry Club members for many years now. We were seated very quickly. We had crawfish bread as our appetizer. It was delicious! I ordered a dish that they serve but is not on the menu. Their blackened catfish atchafalaya. It is very good! My son's grilled shrimp pasta looked delicious and was a nice size portion. Our service was excellent. Zach was our waiter and he did a great job! I recommend this place. We will be coming back.

Landry's is always spectacular. This location is particularly nice, because it has the outdoor seating facing the water and sailboat slip. The service staff is attentive and knowledgeable regarding their dishes. Some of the best waitstaff there is in my opinion. Everytime we've eaten here, we've had great service. The pecan crusted fish with red beans is phenomenal. The southern fried catfish, kids love it. My son wanted a side of dirty rice. He didnt care for it, so I tasted it. It's not like dirty rice I cook and I also didn't care for it. The wedge salad, best I've had, and I have tasted many iceberg wedges. The shrimp and corn bisque was just ok. There were no shrimp in my portion. The barbque shrimp appetizer in the bread bowl was very good as well. Family of 4 for lunch=about $160 with 20% tip.

Just an overall incredible experience. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable and the experience was a great end to a week of fun in New Orleans. Our party ordered the redfish, surf and turf (filet and lobster) and the snow crab legs. All were prepared perfectly. Expect a larger bill than most restaurants, but we were happy with the overall experience.

Really great overall experience. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. I have not had a bad experience here. The fish tastes fresh and is presented in a very pleasing way. The salad is excellent. The barbeque shrimp is among the best in the city and worth going for alone. The view while you eat is amazing, its an excellent view of the lake, the lakefront, and the marina. The restaurant is on the second floor which makes for really amazing views of the lake. There is an elevator here for ease of access if you do not wish to walk up the stairs. The deserts are also excellent and worth ordering. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and it's comparable to any of the upper end restaurants in the quarter, but with a nicer view. Parking is great here and has never been an issue. They serve the food in reasonable amount of time and do not take forever. Good food, good atmosphere, good views, and good times.

We dined for lunch using OpenTable and sat by the window overlooking the water. Kaitlin was attentive as our Server. It would be nice if the Manager greeted us upon arrival (only a few lunch customers in the restaurant at the time) or at least he should thank us and ask us to visit again sometime but neither occurred even though he was next to the host stand. The Lunch Box deal was good for $18 (website lists $16.99) and we enjoyed a Blackened Mahi Sandwich and Crawfish Etoufee as entrees. The starter House Salad was a nice size portion with multiple types of veggies. $3.59 for an Iced Tea?! I used my $25 Landry’s Select Club Birthday Reward. I prefer Louisiana locally-owned restaurants but this is a good Texas-owned substitute.

The fried green tomato appetizer was amazeballs! The Old Fashioned was super strong, but when ya want a drank you should get what you paid for, right? So, n.o complaint there. The picture is of the maraschino cherry syrup and simple syrup our waiter brought me to sweeten my drink a bit. The shrimp with grits were so good I started eating and forgot to take a picture. Lol! My friend had the redfish with crawfish etouffee and it was really good, too. Then we hopped downstairs to take a picture by Lake Pontchartrain, which we had a beautiful view of through our entire meal.

I had the Mixed Grill, which includes 6 oz. char-grilled filet, lobster tail, jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp enbrochette, asparagus. It was excellent. The steak was very tender and prepared excellently. Landry’s accommodated my girlfriend and I so well. We were definitely a handful. We originally wanted to sit outside on the deck which they helped us out with and then it got too cold and even though it was busy we got a table back inside. The front of the house staff was extremely attentive and kind. The food was on point, seasoned well and fresh. We even forgot our to go boxes and it was accidentally thrown out. You can dine inside or outside and because of the walls on the Lake Pontchartrain side are huge windows so the view, well, who wouldn't want to live on the lake? The crawfish tails in my "topping" (a childish way of describing an augmentation) were small and rubbery. The fish portion could not be described as generous. The rice was unusual if good. The vegetables were carelessly thicc and slippery. The service was impeccable. The view was tolerable, although the water gave off a disturbing shade of muck and brown, perhaps a portent of the subpar meal or the tornado that would follow the next day. Landry's is about as New Orleans as Lafayette, and it is worrisome that a chain restaurant so dominates the West End landscape. But they have my $80, so I doubt they care and they will continue to serve mediocre provisions as long as we let them. I look forward to returning to test the theories implied here.

I arrived without a reservation as the restaurant where i did make one apparently pushed me further down the list due to a doubled booking and said I had to wait two hours. When I arrived at Landry's, I was told it was a three hour wait. I was very disappointed and running out of options. I'm not sure what look my parents had (it was their Anniversary dinner) , but the manager Chris just asked us to wait and he would see what he could do. He was able to sit us down in about 20 minutes. I was so grateful and we proceeded to have a wonderful dining experience. Our waitress was great and checked with us frequently. Thank you Chris and all your staff for saving my parent's anniversary dinner!

The crawfish bread was good. Their version of fish and chips was excellent. My scallop dinner was so sub par though I had to give it 3 stars. Scallops themselves were good. Served with a pile of ice cold lumpy grits and overpowering cold limp spinach. Waitress said grits were cold because the kitchen “had a rough start.” I’d go back but stick to the fried fish. Thank goodness my husband ordered that and it was a healthy enough portion for two or I wouldn’t have had nearly enough to eat.

Stopped in during my visit to family. The food was really good. I truly enjoyed it. It was extremely fresh. Our server, Roger, did a wonderful job. The only thing I found that could really use some serious upgrading was their restroom! It was not a pleasant experience. But other than that I would recommend this place.

A group of 5 of us visited the restaurant from Chicago (it was my birthday trip). I ordered a coronarita for my cocktail, the seafood stuffed jalapeños, and the seafood pasta. The drink and appetizer were really good, the jalapeños were really spicy and had great flavor. It took LITERALLY an hour for my table to receive our entrees, when we received them 3 of us were not satisfied at all. My pasta was Luke warm, no salt whatsoever, no flavor whatsoever, the dish was flat out terrible. The manager however (I THINK her name was michelle but I'm not sure) was very attentive to us and made it right. I ended up getting the seafood platter to go which was AMAZING and packed with flavor! Overall, there were other places I've visited during my stay in Nola that had much better food and service, the 3 stars is solely because of the service we received from management

Although nestled in a really nice part of town, this was one I won't revisit. Although we had made reservations and the restaurant was three quarters empty, we still had to wait for a table. Very limited allergen menu. The GM was gracious enough to ensure our order had no cross contamination but everything was bland. I think they were short handed because the service was mediocre. Everyone was rushing around and our waiter would disappear for extended periods. We made it known that it was my birthday and it went unnoticed. I've visited many Landry locations and it's never been this bad.

Fantastic restaurant! The views from the upper deck were amazing. There were 8 of us eating in 1 group but the waitress took everyone's orders and served the food flawlessly. This place was pretty far away from my hotel but I think the food plus the view was worth it. They didn't seem to make the drinks strong enough, my drinks practically tasted like soda and the waiter kept forgetting things like our appetizers and drinks. We received our dinner but not the Appetizers because he never put it in. I recomend they get something to keep the flies away because once it got dark they started flying around me and my food which was just annoying.

If you’re visiting New Orleans it’s a really nice change of pace to go out to the lakefront. Landry’s has excellent food, a very large variety, happy hour, and a cat that lives outside on the balcony he’s very sweet and friendly and happy to get little tidbits from the table. She’s a sweetie. I would say if you want some real good New Orleans seafood just go here enjoy the view on the lakefront it’s quite beautiful if you can get a table outside do so. Our waiter was very accommodating and friendly and made excellent suggestions based on what we were asking. Just a reminder to get the gumbo without the rice or put the rice on the side.

Aside from a bit of rushed service by the waiter, overall a nice place for dinner & drinks; food was perfectly cooked & the wine list is decent for a chain. This particular location has great views from pretty much anywhere in the establishment as well as plenty of seating. Thus, they can handle multiple groups without the dining room being too loud. Downside; there aren't any west coast oysters on the menu.

The restaurant closes at 930- so even if you're eating- they start cleaning up, putting tables and chairs away and turn the lights up.. very rude. They had also run out of a dessert item I wanted.... what else is there to say? Disappointed customer.

Landry's is a wonderful seafood restaurant. It overlooks the lake so there are some beautiful views. The dining room is surrounded by glass windows so there really isn't a bad place to sit if you want to look at the lake. But of course when you go to a restaurant the food is what you're interested in and the food there is very good. The wait staff is very friendly and talkin is abundant. While it is on a second level there is an elevator if you're unable to do the steps.

This place was used as a surprise birthday party for my aunt. Little did she know that it was also where she and my uncle would renew their vows and jump the broom. This was not our first visit and we thought we would give it another try. We were impressed. Our server was Charles. Request him. He was polite and professional. We were served our drinks promptly. He brought our appetizer and followed with our salads and fresh hot bread. Our drinks were never empty. Our table was cleared between courses. The entrees were delicious and fresh. Really nice restaurant. It's on the Lakefront at the end of West End Blvd where Bart's used to be. Sitting outside was very nice; it was a little windy, but that eliminated the need for A/C. I got the broiled seafood platter, which only consisted of three seafood items: a crab cake, four grilled shrimp, and Mahi Mahi with crabmeat and mushrooms. It also came with julienned veggies and a nice rice dish. The food selection and it's quantity doesn't compare to the fried seafood platter, but it's also just a fraction of the calories. The crab cake was cooked perfect with a nice layer of crunch and moist in the middle. The shrimp were grilled well, but they used a lot of butter to keep them from drying out... size-wise, they were maybe 21-25s, probably 25-30s, which is not small, but not huge either. With that size, there should have been at least a half dozen... four 9-12s would have been perfect. The grilled Mahi Mahi was also very tasty; my only complaint is that the mushrooms were canned... I mean, seriously? I just took them off, leaving just the lump crabmeat, which complemented the fish perfectly. Where they really stood out was with the service... their service was awesome! A great, friendly staff. I will go back and I do recommend.

Great food, service, location, and waterfront setting. We bought a VIP Card last year and get great use out of it to include priority seating and discounted meals at all the Landry family of restaurants, which include Salt Grass and others. We especially love happy hour. The atmosphere at the bar area is very engaging and interactive, if you choose. Balcony seating is also excellent on a good weather day or night. Oyster Bar Trash, Spinach Crab Artichoke Dip with warm bread are da bomb.

(Only had like 3 other tables in the restaurant) The service we got was not to great for how slow it was. Refills took a while because he was so busy talking to his coworker the entire time. Next, you're seated very promptly with your choice of inside or outside seating. Our server was so attentive(not annoyingly), she was super nice and very accommodating, as one of our party was VEGETARIAN. Our server immediately offered several vegan dishes that the chef could make "special" for her. I can not even begin to tell y'all how DELICIOUS their food is all DELICIOUS, ALWAYS FRESH and SERVED piping HOT! THE FOOD IS SPECTACULAR!!! THE SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR!!! My hubby and I took my 2 Granddaughters for lunch. The 6 year old loves Landry's. She ordered the Fried Catfish, onion strings and French fries. She says the fish was "just right", and she loved the 2 crispy fried vegetables. The 2 year old had the Chicken strips and French Fries of which she only consumed the fries. I think restaurants should stop serving Chicken Strips because they have no flavor. My husband enjoyed the Crabcake on bun dressed with lettuce and tomato and a side of French fries. I ordered the Blackened Redfish prepared in a!Creole red sauce with sauteed zucchini squash trio in garlic butter and rice cooked grain for grain. When you mix the rice in the Creole red sauce, the mouth party begins! The Redfish was superbly tender and juicy with all the seasonings cook through the fish meat. Oh I can't wait to order this again!

My wife and I went to Landry’s Seafood House in Nola on Lake Pontchartrain for lunch today and was greeted by Michael our waiter. He has a fantastic attitude and great work ethic, when our food came Michael asked how it was and realized that there wasn’t much crab added to my salad so he went and retrieved more crab and brought it without any effort at all. He constantly asked if we were happy and he was there for us, he made us feel like we were his only priority even though he was busy. This may seem what a waiter should do, but he went up and above. Thank you again Michael.

We had a great lunch there the other day. The small plate specials are definitely worth a try. I had the asparagus and crab-meat remoulade. When it arrived it was more of a ravigote, which I actually like better. There is a nice variety of cocktails and a good beer selection. The waitress was great. I did feel a little shock at the bill at the end. The place is expensive, and it adds up quickly, but it's probably worth it for a seat on the patio, overlooking the lake, on a perfect spring day.

Our visit there could have been so much more enjoyable if our waitress could have provided more attentative service, and had she handled the details of our table necessities better. The presentation of the courses of our dinner should of been per our completion of the courses, not exclusively when the course was finished of its preparation. As stated numerous aspects of the service we had made us feel that she was serving the meal instead of serving her customers. We had to ask another waiter to obtain a refill of tea since our waitress was away for an extended period of time without appropriately checking on our periodic needs. What she did good was good, what she did that was disappointing, she did very badly. The restaurant is recommended; however, if other service staff members do not provide better consistent caring service, we will not return more often. We will give them a couple of more chances though, than may or may not return for a while.

The hostess who sat us, was sweet and a perfectionist and refused to let us sit at the "bussed" take because there were still crumbs on the cloth. So she and a busboy prepared another table for us. She kept apologizing but was adamant that it be perfect. ❤️ Then our server was attentive, quick, and non-invasive. She even brought out cake in a to go container, just because she just in case we wanted to take it home. (We didn't order it.) It was delicious and never made it off the table, lol. While the prices of the menu seemed a little high to me, my mother stated they were fine. I will say the food was wonderful. I had the Fresh Catch Ponchartrain, while she had awedge salad. We shared the calamari. Delicious! Funny aside, my birthday is coming up on Friday and this was my birthday meal with my mom, but the server didn't know that... So I ended up with cake anyway! 🧡 It was a beautiful, pleasant meal. There was only one other hiccup and that got corrected right away...a secondary server kindly refilled my drink but misunderstood that half and half tea is not the same as an Arnold Palmer...I like half sweet and half unsweet. (Not his fault, I blame the Arizona brand of tea for confusing people.)

Amazing!! This place is always awesome. The food is great and there is something on the menu for everyone.This particular visit was extra great because our server Jessica with the icy blonde hair was sooooo personable. She was very pleasant each time she came to our table. She was the epitome of a great waitress☺☺☺ Now,each visit I was get a good server but Jessica was the absolute best!
