Reviews of Katie's

The server knows best. The food is incredible. Our sever told us we could probably share the fried platter because it was enormous and we thought maybe they were exaggerating. They were not. The platter was gigantic and even with completely empty tummies we did not stand a chance against it. But the food is so delicious that it was nice to have something to take home. It’s rare to have restaurant potato salad that tastes as good as this one. I cannot wait to eat here again but next time we will share!

Absolutely 💯% amazing! We sat at the bar because it was a packed house and we enjoyed watching the bar tender make drinks. He was friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. The food was hot, yummy, delicious, plated well and just perfect to my tongue 👅 10/10 I do recommend 👌🏾

Our 1st time. Went on a Monday, place was packed. Got seated quickly& drink orders taken. Waitress familiar with menu and helpful. EVERY dish we got was fantastic. Nice presentation and very tasty. Chargrilled oysters were great, Fried Green Tomatoes (pictured) were awesome!!! Very pleasant place to eat and adorable dining outside for a beautiful day like today!!!

Wow - this is a NOLA best kept secret. The wait we were told was 45 minutes. We got seated in 20 min. We had a party of seven. We order appetizers (fried green tomatoes, mushrooms, and oysters). For the entree we had BIG burger, three sea food platters and a pizza. The restaurant is cozy. The servers were excellent. This will be our family hangout.

Katie's Restaurant features the service and food quality of French quarter white tablecloth restaurant at a great value! My Catch of the day (Red Fish) with shrimp was the best meal I had while visiting New Orleans. The fish was seasoned and cooked beautifully, and the shrimp were outstanding. I would give a small knock on presentation but hey with quality and value like this who cares! 5.0

This place is crazy packed, and one of the New Orleans staples. It offers a wide variety of seafood, Cajun dishes as well as cocktails. I came in for lunch, and was able to snag a seat at the bar. Liz was great and attentive! The food was good and came out hot. My oysters were good, but two of them were super sandy. The flatbread had a sweet taste, and the crust was a little overdone and burned.

I tried so many places during my trip in NO and Katie’s is the best! Fish is cooked perfectly. Good portion. Nice and warm vibe. Great customer service.
Baldi Mefer Mejia
All of the food and drinks we ordered were amazing. Service was great and NFL game atmosphere was in full effect. The crawfish beignet is a little high but def worth it. We will def be coming back with friends and family.
Davis Cox
Amazing! While you'll have to look to others for commentary on the seafood, I can say that the hamburger steak is excellent. The portions are just right for most. Be sure to get something with the roast beef gravy (debris gravy) when you go!

Katie said what?! The wait was a bit long while waiting for a table and also while waiting on the food! However, the pizza and the Blackened Shrimp Bucktown Alfredo pasta and added chicken were both good, for a first timer. The pasta sauce could’ve been thicker but the seasoning made up for it. It’s a little tight in there but people give you your space as well. Restroom was clean! The waitress was great and kept our water to the top of the glass! I would recommend giving them a shot!
Isis Martínez
Food was amazing. We had the crawfish beignet for appetizer, seafood ravioli and catch of the day for dinner. Server was friendly and attentive and made sure our kid also had good experience. Loved the variety of the kids menu, as well.
Tyler Miller
Had the best Muffaletta sandwich of my life here! The sandwich was giant and I had to split it with a friend. Ham, Sausage, cheese, and olive salad all mixed to perfection on a wonderful toasted sesame seed bun!
A side of Bacon Blue cheese fries that were equally amazing!

Katie's! Popular spot, it's been on a few shows too. We waited almost an hour on a Saturday. The food is honestly a hit or miss. They were super busy... And forgoty oj twice and then forgot my coffee and still charged me 😢
🐔🧇 Chicken and waffles 4⭐
juicy but needs more syrup. I asked for a knife 🔪 twice and it still never came
🥓🦐🍲 Bacon wrapped Shrimp in grits 5⭐
Wow. Please get this. Buttery, savory, all the right flavors
🦐🍞 Crawfish beignet ... 6⭐
Definitely get this as an appetizer to share at the table

This was a fun place to come eat. The food was good and the staff was nice/friendly.
The portions are pretty big so be ready to eat.
Drinks were good as well, draft beer was cold.
We recommend and would go back.

If you are in NOLA, it's a must try! This very popular restaurant was featured on Triple D's and is conveniently located along the trolley route about a mile from Bourbon St.
They have a great menu including salads and sandwiches, meats and seafood, pizza and pasta and the food is amazing.
The staff are seasoned and can provide recommendations.

I'm sure they have several dishes that are good, but I only had the opportunity to try a couple of items. They have the most AMAZING catfish on the planet! The fish was so light and flaky I just couldn't get enough and the Fried Green Tomatoes topped with shrimp . . . Oh My Goodness! This place is a priority for my dining experience each time I am in area.

Had to check out recommendation from Guy Fieri's DDD show. This local favorite was pretty amazing. Service was friendly and quick. Small restaurant, so get there early! Our appetizer was the best (not greasy) humongous delicious circles of perfectly deep fried onion rings. We try OR at every restaurant and these were some of the best we've had! The dipping sauce is out of this world! For our main entree's we tried the highly recommended pizza "The Boudreaux". It's everything good and more! Another dish we enjoyed was the "the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo." So rich, so fresh and perfectly seasoned! Lovely! Lastly, we enjoyed the special soft shell crab with creamed sauce pasta. OMgosh. This dish was to die for!! So So good. Highly recommend and seems like anything you order off the menu would be delicious!!

Katie's blew our socks off. Fast, friendly service and top-notch NOLA fare. Our group of six ordered from all over the menu and we all shared so I kinda feel like I can say everything here is great! I had my first softshell crab po'boy here and I'll never look at other seafood po'boys the same lol. The crunch and that crab flavor are exquisite. The grilled oysters were also fantastic. Katie's is another NOLA gem that I plan to return to.

Drove a little out of town to hit up this hidden gem. Locals know about this place and you are greeted with a friendly smile and warm service. I ordered the small muffaletta my table mate ordered the large, picture attached. Amazing sandwich! We also ordered the eggplant fries which were equally delicious. Great place to eat!
Megan Lummus
The food was so good! My party all ordered different items and every one was amazing. Burgers are good and HUGE, seafood platter is big enough to split, and the appetizer fries are the best!!
Debbie White
Revisited with my family, I ordered eggplant fries and chicken Parm, absolutely delicious!!. We ordered also as an app chargrilled oysters, delicious buttery garlic sauce, and the fried green tomatoes with shrimp. So good, others at the table ordered poboys.
Andy
Katie’s was everything you could want from New Orleans. The food was outstanding as described from Guy. Everything is made from scratch and locally grown. If you are in Mid-City in New Orleans come here for lunch or dinner, but come early there might be a wait. Got to try the Crawfish beignet.
Jenya
WOW! As a New Orleans newbie, I was looking for a new favorite restaurant. In the past month I have now been twice. It is FANTASTIC. My favorites so far have been the shrimp alfredo and the seafood beignet. They also have good drinks, crabcakes, eggplant fries, po boys and pizza. I would highly recommend trying Katie's. Also they have a good amount of street parking. There most likely will be a wait, so I would recommend getting a reservation or being prepared to walk around the area.
Q Scott
Fantastic experience, enjoyed every sec. from the top notch food to the perfect service. This is a place that makes me feel at home. Also had a wonderful time with our waiter Mr. Fernandez. Anyone interested in trying this place make sure you ask for him. Highly recommend!
Jenny Ellerbe
We are visiting celebrating my sister’s birthday. The experience here was amazing ‼️‼️‼️ Brandon was exceptional. Customer service A1.
Loved it‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ We ordered the ribs, flatbread, catfish, stuffed beignet, lemon cake, and bread pudding.
Michael Mills
Overall excellent. The muffuletta was everything a muffuletta should be. Wife enjoyed her meatball sandwich, and son enjoyed the gumbo. Onion ring appetizer was great. Would have appreciated a bit more expedient service, but it was acceptable.
Jasmin Johnson
I'm so grateful for Katie's. The restaurant saved the day! The owner is always so passionate and pleasant. I really enjoy the service and the food.
Parvathy Sarat
We had the veg muffaletta, onion rings and they were so good! Huge portions, great flavors. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day and they were yummy. Would definitely go back the next time we visit NOLA!
Bill Brown
Went after seeing on DDD. Very good crawfish beignets (DDD recommended). However crab cake poboy was very thin on the crab. A lot of filler, dry and undressed. Sweet potato fries were also very good.
Candace
Welcoming neighborhood bistro setting. Pub dining - although they let minors sit at the bar, outdoor table options, and upstairs dining as well. Our server was friendly and made great recommendations. Thanks Slade. The fried green tomatoes are THE BEST I'VE HAD IN NOLA and I've had some fried green tomatoes here. The muffaletta is as fresh and flavorful as should be. Loved it!! The specials looked great. We brought home a seafood lasagna and it gets rave reviews.
thawanda clark
The oysters were delicious. The seafood platter was huge, and very tasty. Regarding the pasta every bite was a taste of New Orleans shrimp and crawfish.
Omar Leos
Great food and great service. Worth the wait. We will be back again soon. The pizza was delicious. A gem in mid city!
Daniel Amato
We ordered the Cuban, burger, breakfast platter and breakfast po boy. The Cuban doesn’t come with fries, don’t forget to ask for them. Very friendly staff. They seem to always be busy, and it can get very lound, don’t expect an intimate meal, but that’s part of the experience
KC COLE
First time in the Big Easy😁 and stopped at Katie's. Ordered the seafood platter which was certainly large enough for 2. The oysters, catfish, crawfish were all great. …
Ginger G. (GBREAD)
Food was amazing and definitely worth the 45 min wait. My punch was strong! I had the Funky Fontana and my husband had the ribs.
The Chef’s View
What an amazing experience, nothing we had was bad. I will have to see the pizza was my favorite! Oh and don’t forget to order the lemon cake thing you with like 1 million layers of deliciousness!
Art Without Fear
Let’s start this off by giving gratitude to today’s Host & our Waiter/Bartender Bailey who ensured a pleasant, delightful experience here @ Katie’s. We ordered a few things to give us an idea of the flavor and presentations of the dishes and was very impressed by the consistency and tastes!
Drinks were Incredible. Definitely down to earth Pricing. Diverse crowd. TVs for entertainment.
In door / outdoor seating. On street parking.
And the best part… Oldies playing for music
Will definitely be returning.
Joselyn D
Great food and service! Katie's lived up to the hyped reviews. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for good Nola food.
Justin Skariah
First time in New Orleans and we were so happy to find Katie’s! Me and my cousins all got different po’ boys - fried oyster, fried shrimp, and “The Legend.”
We were delighted and definitely will return next time we’re in New Orleans!
Steven Hooper
Service was great, crawfish bigniets were amazing. Got the funky fontana and Catfish Meniere. Those were ok, nothing exciting. Was busy and loud atmosphere.
Mia Alicea
Had the best pizza in town. The Boudreaux was worth the trip. Crispy crust, delicious flavor. We ate on the patio mid February.
Dave McGowan
Friendly service, muffeletta delicious, blue cheese and bacon fries perfect. A little slow and expensive (like everywhere), but very good overall!!! Recommended!!!!
Layla Lane
Stumbled on this place as a last stop before leaving town… best meal we had our entire trip!! Wish we could have found it sooner so we could have tried more from their menu!!! Absolutely must try!!
Dorothy Sloan
Good customer service
Crawfish beignets are a must try here ! They are awesome . Shrimp pasta and shrimp poboy were both very good with large portions.
Hamburger steak was a lil too charred and it effected the taste of the dish .
I will definitely be returning to try other delicious dishes.
Braiana White
Food was great. Ribs were nice and tender, Oysters were fantastic! The Pagani flatbread was also very flavorful & and a nice hint of sweetness.
Joni Barwick
A great place to visit in New Orleans. The team was extremely friendly and fast. My group enjoyed appetizers and dinners. I highly recommend Katie's for an authentic NOLA restaurant.
Kelly Kittles
Tuna NOLA was cooked perfect medium rare, the veggies were fresh. Portion was on great for lunch, atmosphere is what you would expect from a popular place.
Kelly Stipa
We found this restaurant online and it did not disappoint!! Crab soup amazing. The salted caramel martini was delish! Highly recommend.
Debra White
Cute, very useful corner diner.the chargrilled oysters are superior, so good. We also ordered the lump crab flatbread, very little seasoning , not much taste. I ordered a 1/2 muffalatto..delicious, the oyster poboy and the oyster poboy with added meats, soo good. Our server..Fernando was awesome. Very attentive, funny an real.
Allie Hulcher
Make a reservation. But the place was larger on the inside then you may think and our wait wasn't long. The crawfish beignet is legendary and mindblowing and I loved the make your own pasta option. YUM!
Raven Baker
One of my favorite places to stop at when in NOLA! Crawfish beignets are always superb and oysters slessinger are bursting with flavor💣💥 …
Stephen Meaux
Loved this place. Everything we ate here was delicious. I will definitely go back. The drinks and food selection were perfect. We were there for lunch and we sat upstairs.
Logan Schooley
My goodness! The seafood! Top tier! Normally I am a vegetarian but I eat fish if we are ever on the coasts!
I got the Po Boy Catfish sandwich and my oh my was that good! Highly recommend this to any and all seafood lovers. Our good friend Cynthia took us there!! We usually catch up with her whenever we play New Orleans.
Thank you to our wonderful waitress! I did not catch her name, but holy smokes was she a great deal of help. And SUPER on top of things. My water was always replenished without even asking!! I hope to visit again, thanks again!!
Gilda Castro
Gumbo and crawfish beignet were heavenly as appetizers. Then we ordered the shrimp platter, softshell over grits, a shrimp po boy and a catfish over jambalaya. Everything was delicious. Service was great and prices reasonable for the quality. A must visit. We highly recommend if in the area.

So you don’t know what you want, just go to Katie’s, you will love everything! As I continue my fun task of finding all the great places in my new neighborhood Katie’s has been coming up as a regular local place! I was excited to meet my long time New Orleans resident friend for lunch and wanted to pick a good place. I had heard good things about Katie’s and when I suggested it, she immediately said “yes, it’s great”! Well she was right and yesterday was my second time there in 2 weeks:).
First of all it is the cutest neighborhood corner place with nice outdoor sitting, a great bar, excellent service and amazing food. On my second time there I was once again impressed and will now have the wonderful task of slowly trying everything on the menu! This time around I had “the catch of the day” which was redfish with shrimp that was seasoned & cooked to perfection! I skipped the appetizer this time but had the oysters last time that were great! Even though I hit the lunch rush hour, our server Natalie took the time to give us good suggestions without feeling rushed and great service! I can’t wait to see what I’ll have next time:).

Dave and Billy were our waiters! They were simply amazing! Super friendly ! Dave made me a basil margarita, sooo good ! The crawfish beignets were absolutely amazing and the entrees were flavorful and tasty! You will not be disappointed! We Will definitely be back!

We were tourists staying the week in mid-city last year and will be going back for the annual trip next month. Gonna have to go to Katie's again. Great lunch spot. Nice servers, chill atmosphere and really good food. I know onion rings are everywhere in NOLA, but they're not anywhere where I'm from. Katie's was a standout.
Bryan Lewis
Oh the catfish, oh the ribs, oh that white chocolate bread pudding. Absolutely fantastic meal. Don't forget to add blackberry to your mojoto
Wanda Kay
Went to Katie's to celebrate my friend's birthday. The atmosphere was lively and the food was delicious. I will definitely visit again!
P. S. Don't sleep on their bread pudding. Its to die for!
Ana Furzan
This was my first time in this place Katie’s is great place, be ready to try New Orleans good food, Po Boys area great I cannot wait to go back
Kathy Williams
Food was very good and reasonable price for what you get. My daughter and I split the sandwich. They also have bread pudding that is pretty good. Not the rum drissle style but definitely good.
Benjamin Leff
Katie's is a great brunch spot, but when it comes to dinner, it has lost its luster over the years. Katie's has been heralded for having innovative and delicious southern cuisine and I do find that to be true, however I feel the quality and taste of the regular menu to be lacking compared to the delicious food they serve at lunch. There are always exceptions to the rule and I will say that their lamb chops (a special) are absolutely delicious but many of their pasta, seafood, and even pizza dishes are not as good as they used to be.
Manuel Diaz Ayala
I only came here because it was shown on The Simpsons (and they have a framed picture of the episode hung up).
My partner and I came in a while back and the atmosphere was great, the staff were very respectful to us, and the food was fantastic.
Everything was a bit on the pricier side, but it was well worth it with how great everything was!
10/10, would definitely dine here again when I go back to New Orleans!
David Spitzer
Thanks to a tip from a bartender on Bourbon Street, we got to try this local place. Got seafood platter and was blown away by the amount of food they brought us, much different than the tourist places. Being from Maryland, I'll be nice and say the crab cake was tasty but more cake than crab.
Juan Gaytan
The corn & crab bisque delicious, and the Legend Po’Boy great combination of Cochon of Lait and Shrimps
Patty jobe
Food was delicious! Absolutely delicious. Our server, Josh was fantastic. Besides serving our party of 6 he was also helping a huge sweet 16 party (16 people)at same time and he managed to do both with a smile. He was attentive and had a great personality.
Bob Aylsworth
Incredible food, but even better staff! They got us a great table on a super busy Friday night. Were incredibly patient with our kids. The owner stopped by to introduce himself, and appeared to personally stop by and thank every table. We've heard nothing but great things from friends, and this is now our must-stop place in New Orleans.
Laura Williams
I ran across this place online after what seemed like 100 restaurants we looked up. Took trolley, got seated immediately at around 7:00 on a Monday evening. Waiter was fantastic, drinks were yummy and food was delicious! I had the redfish, husband had the blackberry ribs. Highly recommend.

Absolutely worth going across town to eat this local favorite! I have never had better catfish in the meuniere sauce! If you like catfish, you must try theirs! The corn and crab chowder was top notch. Don’t forget to eat the bread pudding! This is the second time we came here and it was better than we remembered!

This place always seems really crowded. It's very tight on the inside. High tables, bar seating, regular tables.
There was a wait of a few minutes which was fine. It took about 10 minutes for our server to get our drink orders, no draft beer, but the food comes out piping hot and made to perfection.
Fish were catfish nuggets (I wish the menu stated this.> I hate the nuggets!
Shrimp were large butterfly fried perfectly but lacking seasoning.
Fries were seasoned fries and Cole slaw was the best I've ever tasted. A lil kick to it.
Server was friendly.
Food tasted ok.
Katie's to me... 7 out of 10.
John Cobb
Katie's is a must! The atmosphere was very inviting and friendly, well worth the wait for a table. The food is amazing! The Spicy Blueberry BBQ Ribs were delicious!! I can't wait to return to try something different. Thank you for the quality food, excellence in service and making everyone feel like family.
Lindsey Vance
I had the pizza for brunch (don’t judge me!). It’s really good! It’s huge. Natalie was really great! It was busy but I never looked up and didn’t see her. 👍👍👍 my group all had a great time and great food.
PHILIP FINKLE
This food is over the top delicious!!! The Funky Fontana was the best mess I’ve ever experienced and the debris cheese fries were delicious. Way yum!!’ Back in 2023 just split the eggplant fries, stuffed mushrooms, and a Crawfish Beignet alllll delicious
Ron Mueller
Lovely little family business in a side street of Canal.
Assorted dishes, Italian and seafood.
Had a tuna steak on green and yellow zucchinis, fried to the point and wonderfully flavored.
With 22$ not exactly cheap but about ok.
Inside it was quite chilly, on an average January day. So I was sitting outside which was lovely.
Bring long sleeves when you want to sit inside.
Full recommendation.
robin hardy
We went for lunch on a Monday. There was a 20 minute wait. We ordered 5 apps and they were wonderful. I usually don't get debris fries, but these were delicious. Worth the wait.
Cheryl Tomblin
I had a moment while eating the crawfish Beignets. 🥰🥹🤤 Seriously, incredible food and such amazing people that work there. Because of the size and the popularity I was worried about my daughter - who has mobility limitations- getting around the restaurant. The staff provided such great care in making sure she was comfortable. My boyfriend and I celebrated our birth month here and will definitely come back!!
Allie Homes
First off, If you want to come in the weekend you will need to reserve and you may need to reserve a week out. It is worth the extra work.
2. The service is really great here. We had Natalie... 5 stars. The waitresses actually seem to love this place and they are fast and over the top.
3. You have to try the oysters. I strongly recommend getting a dozen and splitting between charbroiled and the Slessinger. I cannot stress enough just how good these are. The rest was really good and very unique if you aren't from around here.
We ate the crawfish beignet, stuffed mushrooms and gumbo. We were very happy. Enjoy. You are welcome.
Steven Molina
Have eating here over the years !! Nice place to visit for all your wants right in the middle of Mid City all the food is great and I order something different every single time I have visited! Server was great and kept us well attended so I have no qualms in any shape way or form definitely visit depending on the time the menu may be different!
Paul
A rare gem. Excellent food. A must visit when in New Orleans.
Autumn Storm
I just love this place. I stop in for a crawfish beignet every time I visit!
Terry Braun
Food was very good. It is a small place and was busy when we ate lunch. It is a little difficult to find parking, but this New Orleans. Service was good. Will definitely go back. The food is seafood and some American.
Em Saunier
Great place where locals go. Seafood lasagna was fantastic! Eggplant fries are a must!
Eric Nisley
Great food and service here. Had pizza and some spaghetti. We had no reservations but they got us in pretty quickly. Leftover spaghetti didn’t last long. Reasonable prices.
Ellery Marks
Came here for date night with our dog and sat outside on the patio. The hostess was really accommodating and able to seat us quickly. They had a lot of people dining in that night and we saw a few pick up orders go out so that was great to see! The food is amazing and gives you a taste of New Orleans while being in the quieter Mid-City area. We ordered a half dozen oysters to start. It was topped with a cheese sauce and bacon, which is now my new favorite way to eat them! He got the rib platter which had a blackberry bbq sauce, with a side of potato salad and Cole slaw. I had the veggie muffaletta with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was amazing! I loved the muffaletta! They had quite a few vegetarian other options on the menu. And the ribs were stellar! Fall off the bone with great bbq sauce. And all the sides were great! You can't pick wrong. We'll definitely be back!
Aayush Gupta
Love the F food, tried garlic cheese fries, pizza and an amazing crawfish beignet. There is a big line outside so while you wait grab a beer or a sangria and if you get lucky, you might find a space on the bar.Again a must try crawfish beignet, and get your own do not share😂
Haleh
Wonderful food!
We tried seafood platter with garlic & butter fries.
Also shrimp Alfredo.
Both were amazing.
Definitely recommend this place for seafood. 👍👍
J Hsu
So probably not the best to have a stand outside that says please wait to be seated when the hostess is actually on the inside. Slightly confusing but when the restaurant is at capacity and waitresses are coming outside to serve patio tables, that confusion is cleared up. I wanted to like this place more after seeing on DDD. To start, I got the crawfish beignet. That thing looks delicious and the cheese pull was great. Good concept of having a crunchy pastry with a little spicy/salty crawfish filling. Sadly, it was a little heavy handed on the salt so I just kept needing to go back to the water. I still loved it, but maybe got a bad representation of the dish by being oversalted. Then I got the crabby benedict. Perfectly poached soft boiled eggs and a nice tang to the béarnaise. I think they make their own English muffins which I applaud the effort. I don't know but the dish was all very soft. The toast on the muffin and the crunch on crab cake just wasn't there. Might have been my fault since I ate the crawfish beignet first.... so take that into consideration, don't have them serve all dishes at the same time as some texture may not be there. Will definitely come back for another try next time I'm in New Orleans though.

Katie's is a must-eat restaurant in New Orleans. Someone had recommended them, and it is hands down amazing. Since it was an actual nice day outside, my husband and I sat outside and enjoyed the neighborhood and all of the greenery. The inside of the restaurant looked nice, but nothing particularly stood out to me.
He had the crab cake poboy and added shrimp. I had the shrimp poboy. Both were excellent and the freshness really stood out. The potato salad was also good and wasn't sweet. Perhaps the best dish, though, was the crawfish beignet appetizer. Everything about it was amazing, but the real winner was the sauce on top. I was so impressed with everything.
After we ate, I called quite a few people and told them that we are going to eat here the next time we go out. I can't wait to try more!
It's absolutely a must-go place.
Sheldon Jackson
The food is fantastic. The gravy is the best in the country. Drinks are not watered down and the service is over and beyond. If you come to New Orleans you must visit Katie's.
Dan Burnett
So we weren’t super hungry, but we got the platter for splitting, and we were warned it’s for sharing, so we thought it would be perfect. It was HUGE; easily enough for four portion sizes. Large filet with 10 large shrimp and oysters, and lots of crawfish. Fries and bread round it out, making it a large pile of carbs and fried goodness. Was a lot of fried food, but they were all perfectly cooked. Would recommend if you’re hungry and I to fried seafood.
Angie Jones
Pretty good spot. They have a very extensive menu.
Joaquin Villamar
Outstanding! The food here is incredible, we ordered Oyster Po Boys and WOOW! The food is great, is super busy, we arrived early and there was a large group waiting with us. We came here with our luggage because we heard this place is a must. We will come back for brunch. The waiter was excellent too!
Tiffany Scott
Always a great experience and customer service is Awesome along with wait staff and the owner who'll visit at your table. The food was Delicious. We had cochon pizza, chargrilled oysters, sangria, froze, cheese grits and softshell Benedict not pictured
Mathew Cain
Delicious food, friendly service, and small New Orleans atmosphere. Out waiter Slade was excellent! Very nice and very attentive! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat in the area!!!

I wanted to like this place. I really really did. I eat oysters often, fried as well as baked /chargrilled. And I’ve never in my life had oysters that tasted so fishy and nearly rancid. Being from St Louis I was excited to see a place with Provel cheese on the menu, and ordered the St Louis Po boy. The fishyness of the oyster was so overpowering I could only take a few bites of my sandwich. My husbands pizza was flavorful but unfortunately pretty dry. $83 for two meals and a couple drinks for neither of us to be truly thrilled with our food was a disappointment. We may try again next time we’re in town but with so many other options for great cuisine in NOLA I’m not sure I see that happening. :/

Ashley was our waiter. She was simply extraordinary! It was like having a breath of fresh air as your server. The food I must say is quite delicious! Well seasoned, presented exquisitely, and most important very filling! This most definitely a must stop in Mid-City New Orleans for decently priced, tasty, delicious food! EDIT: Hey OWNER? Why does your response sound like an attack against me using the word "delicious"? Also I'm a local.
Luna B.
Ugh🤤.. The food is amazing and the staff are very accommodating! My mom didn't like the stuffed charbroiled oysters, but they made her a batch of the regular chargrilled oysters, at no charge. This place strives for perfection, so if you have a problem, please speak up. The staff will do their best to fix it and make your experience enjoyable.
Kevin Young
Excellent. , Upper level neighborhood restaurant . The food is delicious . The seafood boat poor boy , will feed three $50. And is a value at that price . The trout special was really good . You will understand why the restaurant has been there forever .
Adelina Martinez
Things are super huge portions and salty but delicious
Jennifer Meier
The crust was crispy and the pizza had great flavor
Vahid Dehkordi
Food is fantastic. Really really good. I cannot emphasize enough. Garlic, butter, cheese, shrimp, fish, heaven type of goodness that emerged in the form of food that fills your soul and stomach at the same time. Damn it's good!

WOW⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my first time coming to this restaurant and it would definitely not be my last! exploring New Orleans restaurants is a very fascinating and adventurous hobby of mine that I've come to love so much. The one thing about this restaurant that stuck out to me the most is that once you walk into the door you felt as though everyone that worked there knew each other and liked each other for who they are rather than just employees having to work together. You felt it immediately! The atmosphere was filled with openness and warmth as well as a very safe belonging as well. The non-stop chatter of people and laughter filled the restaurant. Everybody was hands on and the food?
DELICIOUS 👌
Everything about this place feels just
right! ❤️

Always wonderful! I’ve never had anything bad here.

This is a neighborhood local restaurant on Iberville Street in New Orleans and it's a newer location I think just a couple years it's been there. It had a great atmosphere very cozy with a big menu of appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. I went on Friday with my sister and her friend as I came from Texas to visit. So we started with the Eggplant fries which were perfectly cut and deep fried with parnesan cheese and a great tasting homemade marinara red sauce that was perfectly delicious. I had the Delta Queen pasta dish with a creamy garlic cream sauce over angel hair pasta and lightly fried oysters, big shrimps and crawfish tails. It was sooo goood! I give them 5 stars on this dish alone. Also the portion size was enough for 3 people. I had enough leftover to eat 3 more times. It is the bomb. I highly recommend this restaurant. They also have a full bar in the front of the restaurant and just old New Orleans and they Love the New Orleans Saints. The framed saints jerseys of Drew Brees of course. We were to full for desert but I'm sure those would have been amazing as the chalk board menu had Wedding cake listed.
Jorge Kopel
This, is a jewel in a kitchy little neighborhood with some of the best food I've had in a long time. The service is decent, but chill.
All in all, of you're looking for good food, chill atmosphere, decent service, and while not cheap, not expensive either...this is your spot!
Canttieashoe
Food was good, but didn't realize that they don't have their full menu only a brunch menu on Sunday. Don't order a Bloody Mary. I ordered a top self Bloody Mary and it came in a small highball glass and cost $11.00.
Greg Cook
Katie’s is a great local place to eat! Lots of options and many good seafood options. I loved the onion rings!
Jessica A
Really great experience and food here. The oysters were delicious. Not picture was an Italian salad, and seafood ravioli which was also delicious. We waited about 15 minutes to sit around 845pm. Our server was super friendly. And our food was fresh hot and delicious. I definitely suggest trying this place if you can.
Joe LoBello
Great time and the food was fantastic. We tried all the specials and all were outstanding. Charbroiled Oysters, Oyster Po Boy and Muffulettas we big hits.
Katherine Marcia
I went on a Sunday, limited menue. I love sandwiches! They had a Ruben, I ordered it, it took a great while and didn't carry my soco, the sandwich was so dry. Hardly any ham, more pork. Bland/ dry sandwich.
Gustavo Calderón
The best place to eat and drink in New Orleans!
Kyle Hawkins
This was our first choice for a place to eat when we arrived. This was our first time in New Orleans so we wanted to start off with a good start. The food at Katie’s was amazing. The CNN Ribs were sweet but had a bit of a bite from the jalapeños. The catfish was perfectly cooked and the lemon reduction sauce was on point. Definitely well worth the trip. Although the prices were a little steep. These two meals, a beer, and a liquor drink was $60.
Gabriel Padilla
We order a dozen charbroiled oysters since they are to die for. We also tried their ribs rack and it was pretty juicy and tender. The bread pudding feels like they just pulled it out of the oven. Fabulous!
Their service is fast but cordial.
Great spot!
Lauran Chadwick
Make this a priority! The staff are awesome! They aren’t afraid to enjoy their work! Dancing, laughing and taking care of their patrons. The drinks were definitely impressive. Highly recommend the Blackberry Margarita and the Heart of New Orleans. The food was phenomenal. What you see pictured are crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms and the shrimp and artichoke pizza. There are really no words.... we took home two pieces of pizza. That’s it. The portions were spot on. There were two of us traveling and we split the dishes. Don’t miss this! It is off the beaten path, but totally worth the find.
carlis robinson
I love the atmosphere and the food options are amazing. Everything I have tried over the years has been well worth it. The owner Scott is very approachable.
James Quinn
Great service with a interesting decor. Bottles of wine at a reasonable price. The Boudreaux pizza was tasty. Very good house salad with homemade ranch. The bacon blue cheese fries were excellent. The red fish special was a good meal. Easy to get to from the Telamachus street car stop.
Michael Kroll
I gotta say this place was amazing. From the service to the food. Holy cow the food! Easily the best catfish and fries I've ever had. I cannot wait to go back and try something new!
Travis Fuller
OYSTERS OYSTERS OYSTERS! If you think you’ve had good oysters think again. This place takes it all next level. There was a radio host there during lunch and on the air. The owner and chef came out and said hi. The food is delicious. If you don’t love your food call me because this was the best place I ate during my week in town. If you only had time to eat at one place during your 24 hour stay this would be the spot to go. You’ll drive through a neighborhood and feel lost and it just adds to the experience. Enjoy!
Howard Turner
An amazing place well worth the money. Started out with the swamp fries with the debris gravy and it was delicious. Perfect amounts of melted cheese along with the savory gravy. Then I had a half rack of their ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy and slaw. The ribs were fall of the bone and a perfect mixture of sweet and spicy. The potatoes were delicious and the gravy which was already a hit on the fries was even more so on the potatoes. The slaw was average. My S/O had the crawfish beignet which I had one bite of and fell in love with. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. A diner featured on triple d that did not disappoint like a few others that I have been to. The service was fast and friendly as well.
Chris Henry (Chris Henry)
The first place we visited that was recommended from a local and what a gem this place is. Service was great and food was excellent. Stay away from the chain resturants in the french quarter and support the local community. We would go back again for sure. The ladies including my wife RAVED ABOUT THE Pimm's Cup. Drink#1. My wife said it was refreshing cucumber drink. I hate cucumber so I stuck with a local brewery beer which was good.
Michael Ferguson (YouTube Michael Ed)
Tucked away in a neighborhood on the corner, Kate’s is worth checking out. My family and I enjoyed a few delicious menu items: shrimp po’boy( my daughter had no problem making the sandwich disappear.👍
My wife and shared chargrilled oysters and oysters slessinger.(their oysters are big!)
We also shared the crawfish stuffed beignet, also featured on Triple D (Diners,Drive-ins and Dives,)
And it was delicious!!
Burge Franks
Definitely have to leave this place 5 stars! Restaurant is quaint with a great vibe. Got 3 seats at the bar at 8pm on Friday night. Bartender's were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the stuffed mushrooms, which were absolutely delicious, and all 3 of us ordered the fresh fish of the day, which was Red Fish topped with grilled shrimp over a veggie medley. THIS WAS THE MOST TENDER FISH I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH!!!
April Williams
Cute place in the oddest spot, but hey it works. We were going to get the brunch but I happened to see a pizza come out and I had to get one. Omg.....it was amazing. I love a good fresh pizza. They also had bottomless mimosas so let's just say I really enjoyed this visit. I can't wait to come back.
Tam Kam
Me and my friend went to Katie's and had the Coolinary menu and it was sooooo good. They had bit of a wait about 45mins due to covid which was understandable but the food was delicious. I had the Frose which was tasty, 1st course was a chicken and sausage gumbo which didn't have much chicken and sausage but it was still good. 2nd course was a crab cake which was full of crab super tasty. 3rd course was a fish and shrimp platter which was soooooo filling. For desert they had white chocolate bread pudding but I didn't get that because I eat that. But I would definitely recommend Katie's especially during Coolinary Restaurant time. Sidenote: the 4 course meal was ONLY $30.
Nicole C
IYKYK… and if you don’t… I’m here to tell you, this is the. BEST. Place for everything. Whatever they recommend, whatever’s in the menu, get it. You won’t be disappointed. Bloody Mary’s to die for. The fries w blue cheese, omg. Good crowd. Chat up some ppl at the bar. Make friends. Come w loved ones. Go home full and happy to nap and do it all again. I’m in.
J Estrada
This is a nice, chill place; a very relaxed atmosphere. The service was on point but the food was hit and miss. My grilled chicken burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese was very good; the brioche bun was a very nice touch. The pasta primavera left a lot to be desired, however. They basically grilled some veggies and tossed it over some pasta and forgot to add any semblance of flavor. I would avoid this dish like an anti-vaxxer avoids common sense.
Skauri
This place is sooo good. I'm rather upset that we ate here first on our trip. I spent the rest of time saying, man this is good but... Katie's is better.
Apps
Creole beignets is one serving. Cause you dont want to share! Crunchy puff pastry on the outside, the soul of NOLA on the inside.
Chargrilled Oysters with garlic and herbs. To be fair, our adventurous friends ordered them and not up our alley. This has made a definitive change. They were cleaned really well, seasoned and cook to perfection. Side note, I hate raw or boiled oysters... taste like chewy snot to me. These were clearly not that.
Meal
I had crabcakes Po Boy. Breading to crab is amazing. You can tell that sweet, sweet crab is there. Just the right amount of seasoning throughout. Guys... the bread its nestled in... so light and fluffy.
Wife had shrimp Po Boy. It's pretty basic executed excellently. Nuff said.
Dranks!
Best fricken Mojito in all of NOLA that I had. So good my wife opted for another sans dessert.
Dessert
King cake and bread pudding. Both have a luxurious velvety texture with a punch of vanilla bean. Portion size is big enough to split... but do you really want to? Not really.
S L Adams-Guess
Splendid, just exceptional in every way! This is by far my favorite place for brunch or lunch when in NOLA! The food is always bursting with flavor. The portions are large (especially the pizza and pasta dishes), so consider sharing!
Brittnee Blair
My friends and I were fortunate enough to dine at Katie’s during this months Coolinary special! It was more than a normal experience! The food is phenomenal and the service is quick and friendly! The food special are so amazing here and I can’t lie... it’s hard to pick just one dish!! If you have the opportunity to try the crawfish beignet.... GO FOR IT! Probably the best dish I have ever tasted.
Raja Zakeeyah
Listen!!!!! This place is worth the wait. Go and do yourself a favor and get the customers favorite pizza. And no I can't pronounce or spell it....something atcha lol its shrimp, oysters, Crawfish and peppers.... A whole bunch of goodness!!!
Lexx Diamond
Excellent. The Po boy was excellent. The swamp fries were excellent. The waiter was great. Nice music. And they have heaters outside if you want to sit outside which I did. I enjoyed everything. Diners Drive Ins and Dives were here and they recommended this place. Great choice 👍 …
Lisa Carlson
Delicious food in fun family-owned restaurant. Staff is competent and friendly. Remy Stack (fried green tomatoes and grilled shrimp and grilled red fish were delicious! Doberge cake from La Loiusiane were all delicious!
Melissa Gonzalez (56User)
Amazing food! Also had bottomless mimosas :) was able to order food that was gluten free and shared it with the kiddo. We were able to split the omlet and it was perfect! I am a food Network nerd and posting up a picture of Guy from Diners, drive-ins and dives was a huge selling point for us to try it here. Definitely a recommend!
Bill Cheatham
In New Orleans, venture out to one of the best neighborhood restaurants for pizza & Po Boys. Old school, family owned and operated with great food, great service and daily drink and food specials.
Their pizza is awesome... cooked in an authentic Brooklyn-style stone pizza I’ve. The menu is full of a nice variety of sandwiches as well. I tried the Cuban which was very good. If you’re feeling brave order the Swamp fries (fries, cheddar & Mozzarella cheese... you can also add some roast debris gravy).
The service is fast, friendly and very good.
Olanzo Jones
Ooo boy where do I begin. I went twice in a 3 day stay. Smoked oysters are some of the best I have had. Crawfish beignets were amazing. The Shrimp and Fried green tomatoes was out of this world. You really have to eat here to understand the amazing flavors. You will mot be disappointed.
Mark T
I went there this past weekend. I had The Legend which was delicious and others at my table were equally happy with their meal. The server Melissa did an excellent job. I will definitely be returning when I am in town.
Dewayne W
Everything I ate was delicious. Crawfish beignet,. Fried catfish and shrimp.....props too you folks,. Great food and good service
branden davis
Pretty good food here. My wife and I ordered the seafood platter and it was way more than enough food. You could split it with 4 people and probably still have food leftover. It was about $50 I think which is not bad for all that was on there. Would definitely get it again but for a group. Service was also great!
Bre Smith
The best food I’ve had in New Orleans thus far! Our server was Katie and she was super friendly and very informative about the menu with several awesome suggestions! You definitely won’t be disappointed, every time I visit New Orleans I will definitely come here each time!
Emanuel Lewis
So this was a recommendation visit from two ladies I met at Ochsner Morgan City :)
These were the best ribs I’ve ever eaten! This place is reason enough to visit NO. Ribs were super tender and lightly crisped on the outside and burned just right 😋
Potato salad was great along with the big shrimp.
Scott Edwards
This place never disappoints. Travel down every 6 months and everyone in the family finds thier perfect meal. Very diverse menu. I could just eat the crust of the pizza as a meal, it's that good. Away from the hustle of French quarter you feel like a local.
Charity Perez
The crawfish beignet is amazing and the ribs fall straight off the bone! Excellent service and an must for any visit to NOLA
Abigail Lomingkit
Came here with some people and got to try a few things. Fried green tomato poboy with shrinp was fantastic. Cubano was decent but the pork inside the cubano was epic. Smoked in house and pulled pork was delicious. Needed some mustard and the bread was over toasted. We had two Cubanos at the table and the bread for both were too toasted. The ribs were great!!! Good selection of beer as well!!
Jasmine Ballard
Katie's in Mid City is a buzzin' neighborhood restaurant serving "Creole-Italian food" and casual bites. Think pizzas, loaded fries, stacked sandwiches, and poboys. Also think chargrilled oysters, crawfish beignet, and rotating specials like redfish noel. The oysters slessinger is phenomenal! Once I cam with friends and ordered the 3 foot poboy (3 foot loaf - fried shrimp, catfish & oysters) but broiled. I was a little hesitant about broiled oysters on a poboy, but everything was so fresh and delicious!
Brunch at Katie's is not one to be missed. Regular brunch fare here includes BBQ Shirmp & Grits, Chicken and Waffles, and Grits & Grillades. They also do rotating specials like soft shell crab topped with creamy, Cajun spiced seafood sauce on top of grits. As for the grits here you can look forward to the creamiest grits you have ever tasted in your life! The only grits I have seen compare were by a Cajun I knew back home and he used a whole stick of butter when he made them. I don't even want to know the fat content in these. I can't forget the highlight of brunch: booze. Katie's offers bottomless drink options $15 (once seated to dine): red or white sangria, mimosas, and bloody marys.
Do note they only take reservations for large parties and you need to give them ample notice for your request. Otherwise, expect to put you name down, grab a drink and wait a little while. I promise the wait is worth it. For Sunday brunch, if you show up before 11am you have a good chance of a short wait.
Heather Campbell
Awesome atmosphere and service! Neighborhood family owned restaraunt. Large portions and delicious food. Had the shrimp alfredo spicy but delicious. Swamp fries gobbled up. Chargrilled oysters a definate!
Traveling 4GoodFood
Absolutely love their crawfish beignets. I come here everytime I'm in new Orleans... tends to be a wait so don't go around meal times
Cesar N Castellanos
Best friend found this place and figured we tried it based on the reviews it had
So worth it. I had “The Legend” which was possible the best sandwich I have ever had. I drove down from St. Louis and was worried about choosing this place as a stop but it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was so chill and staff were so nice. We did not wait long at all to be seated either .
Allison Beecher
Katie's was recommended by our airbnb host, and we were excited to learn it has also been featured on a Diners drive ins and Dives. The we split the barge among 4 people, which was a decent portion.Overall, the food was ok. The sandwich was really dry and not overly flavorful. I think there are better places to eat at in New Orleans.
Nicole Smith
The placed was packed when we arrived. Which I feel is always a good sign of good food and service. The placed lived up to that to the fullest. The food was amazing and we shared the bread pudding for dessert. It was so good . They use pineapple instead of raisins.
R Hernandez
Sat at the bar. Billy was our bartender and he was awesome! Food and drinks were excellent. Katie's never let's you down.
Jake Hunt
Dang, I had the pizza and there were three of us so we got three different ones. Very good food. Really nice atmosphere. Friendly service.
Janee Howard
Seafood beignet love ! Went here today July 21,17 for the 1st time! The food was delicious! We got poboys though neither one of us really wanted a "sandwich"! We got the seafood beignet as the appetizer and it was amazing! Our poboys were the funky Fontana and the crabby couple both dressed! Both were amazing! Staff was great too and our food came out right on time!
Jeffrey Jordan
Katie's restaurant was great. It is a neighborhood favorite and it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. the staff is very friendly the place, it is very busy but worth the wait. They have good seafood a variety of different po boy sandwiches. Katie's has a full bar and drink specials.
Naz
amazing food. service was a bit slow but they were also in a rush so it’s understandable. i loved the remmy stack and seafood beignet
Frank Snyder
Cozy neighborhood restaurant. Had a delicious veggie sandwich called "Muffaletta". Very tasty and a gi'normous portion. What is pictured here is a half order. Crispy fries. Yumm.
john dismukes
A great place in midtown to get out of the tourist places and enjoy a real NOLA scene. Food was absolutely fantastic. Redfish Noel and Fried Redfish over Seafood Stuffing to die for as was the Crawfish Beignet...which is more of a calzone but freaking awesome. Great bar too. Local environment.
Carol Hutchison
Delicious food. Service is ok, not great.
I had the Coolinary menu.... it was great for $30... 4 courses...
Claudia Penney
This place is a hidden jewel.
Food was out of this world and amazing.
Staff was great and very attentative.
Abby Davis
One of the best brunch places in New Orleans! Bottomless mimosas we're delicious along with many of the appetizers. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic and delicious experience.
Stephanie Higgins
Delicious visit to Katie's. We sat outside to enjoy some sunshine for lunch. Get the Crawfish Beignet. Totally worth it and so unique.
Michael Ingols
Had a great server. Got seated right away even though it was their first day open since Ivan. Would go back and try some of the food featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Molly
I have to say that the reviews aren't wrong. This eatery is wonderful. We were a party of 2 and got right in with no wait. I tried the charbroiled oysters and they were still bubbling hot and really good. I also had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo which was to die for. It was so good it would probably be the only dish I ever order there again and again.
Amanda Fischer
Hi. Katie's was delicious & great atmosphere. Plus a couple blocks away is an Italian Gelato (Ice Cream & desserts) restaurant. Highly recommended! Oh 1 tip....the place does have an extra guest all the time. If you are a medium, psychic or a ghost hunter...make sure to stop by this restaurant. 🙂 …
Bella
Friendly atmosphere, staff is very friendly, good flavor. Prices are reasonable. Definitely I will go back.
Rick Shock
Highly recommend this place. Initially we were told the wait was currently 40 minutes. It ended up being 10 minutes. The food was amazing!!! I had the mufaletta and it was delicious. Get the half though, portions are real big. Staff was very friendly and place was clean. Thanks for a great experience!
Nian Liu
Good neighborhood breakfast place, good atmosphere, had the crawfish beignet, seafood omelet and bread pudding, all very good. However there are plenty of other good choices in NOLA, this one didn't standout for me.
Matt Czimer
Guy Fieri featured this place on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Definitely away from the Bourbon Street cluster, this plade has a cozier neighborhood feel. We tried the garlic fries, which were rich and decadent. Also tried the famous smoked butt pizza. It was quite delicious and full of flavor. Crust was just right and the cheeses used were well rounded and multi-dimensional in flavor. Patio seating was pleasant and charming.
Shannon Lett
The Dubarge cake was delicious. Big and flavor packed. Creamy and thick. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant that continues to adhere to covid protocol
Dux Dad
Recommended by our airport local Lyft driver Katie's is a welcoming locals restaurant, great food reasonably priced. Easy to get to from the trolley stop, one block away. In the pics note the Katrina water level on the front door.
Lala A
Amazing!!!!! Wrt cane I a Saturday night. We waited 20 mins. The hosts was very nice. The restaurant is in a very nice residential neighborhood. We started with the yard chicken pizza. They put carmelize onions an this is what made it delicious. It was so cheesy with a thin crust. Honestly my top 5 pizza ever!. I order the ribs, greasy flavor, mmm friend hour the blackened shrimp Alfredo, creamy and delicious. We ended by sharing the bread putting. Perfect! It wasnt heavy, you could taste all the spices and the amaretto. I'm very pleases and will be returning.
Shannon Beasley Taitt
Food was excelled. Chargrilled oysters and crawfish beignet were delightful. Very prompt staff. Would highly recommend.
electro wasabi
Hit or miss with food. The cuban sandwich was pretty bad for something two servers recommended. They clearly never had a cuban sandwich. Pulled pork was extremely dry. The pizza was good tho, the cream sauce must have made up for the dry pork. The crawfish beignet was also enjoyable tho it was more of a garlic naught than a beignet. Service was acceptable. Long wait if no reservation.
Jade Terry
Excellent! A local friend took us here as we drove through town. The chargrilled oysters are to die for! Everyone at the table fell in love. Seriously, get them! I had the crabby eggs benedict and loved it! Thick crab patty on a large fluffy English muffin, they had sweet potato for a side that morning and it was a great partner. I wish I could come back again to try everything on the menu!
Eric Gilkey
Great food and great service! Loved the staff at Katie's! We will definitely be coming back
Meghan Thomas
Wonderful selection of food and so yummy! Great weekly and weekend specials! Such a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place to go!!!
Victoria Relf
Great authentic New Orleans restaurant. Not a tourist trap. Get there early or you'll have to wait in line. I had the Lump Crabmeat Frittata and was thoroughly pleased. Will visit again.
Joe Stiles
Amazing experience. The restaurant was busy but we still got seated in very timely manner. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I took our waiter's advice on what to order and was not disappointed at all. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The 4 of us shared a little off our plates with each other and absolutely everything was perfection. The shrimp, crab cakes, fish.... everything was great and prepared perfectly. The food came out very quick to boot. Absolutely recommend, 5 stars without a doubt.
Lawrence Tam
Good food and servings sizes justify the price.
The chargrilled oysters were good but preferred the battered and fried oysters.
CRYSTAL REED
Service was top notch (Katie), food was all hot, delicious, and large portions. Make sure you come here when you visit this city! We had the catfish muniere, corn and crab bisque, ribs and bread pudding. Come hungry.
Craig Kryscio
Great food. Service was slow considering we got there right when it opened and there weren't that many people.
Kerry Ficht
Saw it on DDD. Had to try it, one of the best meals I had in years
Kendra Wilson
AMAZING! Our family went here for dinner and we had no complaints. Seafood was amazing, flatbread was amazing, and service was exceptional, especially for a Saturday night! We will be here again, no doubt! You have to get the lemon doberge when it's on special!!
Beverly Frost
The food was so good. We ordered shrimp and grits, the seafood plate. Soooooo good!
Jeffrey Fitzsimmons
We went here for Sunday brunch. I would highly recommend going during this time for bottomless drinks (mimosas, Bloody Mary, etc) and some fantastic breakfast food. Definitely a little compact, but very cozy and worth a stop.
Lisa R
The food was just ok which was disappointing because this is a NOLA icon. The meals have been good historically but we had a party of 5 and 3 people got seafood and only 1 had a good meal. Not good odds. The other two got veggies and enjoyed their meal. We won’t go back.
Lara Schrimpshire
This was a very cute restaurant and the food was good. The prices weren't bad for the amount of food you get. I would eat there again forsure.
Jacquelyn McDuffee
Food was absolutely spectacular and the service was outstanding as well! Highly recommend!!
Percy Ollie Jr
I had the bbq shrimp and grits and they were awesome. I ate every single bite. I did wait about 60 minutes to get in and then another 40 minutes to receive my food but besides that everything was great!!!
Natalie Pramounmat
5.5 stars worthy! Crabby couple and crawfish Beignet are incredibly mind blowing. The service is great. Staffs are cool people. Nice seats outside!
Ro
Food was delicious! Best oysters I've had in N.O.!
Our server Fernandez sexy ase was amazing 😍 …
Reyann Gonzales
Great little restraunt away from the hustle and bustle of NOLA. It was a beautiful day so we wanted to sit outside. Nice outdoor seating area.
The service was top notch and not too over bearing. The food was delicious and the wine paired great w our pizza. We spilt a pistolette for am appetizer. I suggest getting one for sure.
jerry hambrice
I had a very good crab cake po boy. It was so crowded that we had to wedge 8 of at one table but the food was worth it.
Jason Justice Saxophone Studio
Food, service, atmosphere, excellent! Well worth your tourist dollars. Stop immediately going to 90% of the places in the Quarter.
Jim Schultz
Great lunch spot. Friendly neighborhood joint. Prices customer friendly
Nicole Can
The atmosphere at Katie’s is cozy, and the food was delicious. The owner stopped by was very personable. He offered suggestions and answered questions about the menu. I will definitely visit Katie’s when I return to New Orleans.

Very crowded but great food. Definately a neighborhood restaurant, but worth the visit if u are from out of town. We had the pizza with shrimp, crawfish and oysters and it was delish. The build your own pasta dish was the best! Friendly waitstaff and nice atmosphere!
Scott Salem
Gumbo too salty. Fried green tomatoes on the soggy side. Very good shrimp
margaret moore
Delicious food, good atmosphere, great service. Went on a saturday night, only had to wait 20 minutes.only complaint is that the burgers were so juicy, the buns fell apart.
Aidan Pillard
Uhhhh the crawfish beignet is to DIE FOR. All four of us agreed that this was the best food we had in the city, and all we do here is eat. A must-visit!
Rick Ball
Holy Great Food Batman! The drinks, appetizers, the pizza, and Pablo B the waiter was amazing! One of our favorite places inn Mid-City. They never disappoint!
Mark Hamdan
Katie’s is a Mid City stable and offers a wide variety of foods so you’re sure to always find something you enjoy eating. Great for grabbing a drink at the bar downstairs as well. Pictured: the BlackBerry & Jalapeño BBQ Ribs (AMAZING) with mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries and a BLT wedge salad.
At Sirk
Took 2 hours to get our food after sitting down but the food itself was amazing! Just don't be in a rush when you go lol.
Ray Salinas
Top rate service and food. Some of the best for New Orleans to offer and a favorite of the locals.
Derek Beard
This place was on Diners, Driveins and Dives. Not the best looking photo, but let me tell you, this redfish and crab cake stack over veggies with a seafood cream sauce was absolutely amazing! It was a special that day but one I wouldn’t pass up on again if I ever get to go back to New Orleans.
Cynthia Olsen
What a comfortable, charming, welcoming neighborhood restaurant &bar should be, tucked away in a residential area one block off of Canal in Mid City, this makes for a lovely evening. Both indoor and outdoor seating; wait staff are helpful and attentive. Food is hardy, satisfying, innovative and of great variety of appetizer, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees- flavors mouth watering. Great atmosphere, will be back.
Katie Peters
This place is amazing! Really friendly staff and delicious food! Ordered the seafood platter (grilled) and everything was fresh and tasty. They have great happy hour specials as well. We'll definitely be back!
Marcus Anthony
The salted caramel martini was deliciously excellent, but the pizza I had, the one featured on diners and drives was extremely lackluster and disappointing.
tony mancuso
Outrageously good food. Fantastic cocktails and service. Great vibe. Loved our evening.
Daniel Olevich
The stuffed beignet was the best dish I had while in New Orleans! An absolute must have!
Jason Broom
It was delicious but expensive. $16 poboys. $51 for two poboys and a appetizer. Service was great. #Geauxeat
Amy Williams
Food was wonderful, and service was really friendly and professional. Prices were worth what you get for them, and their history is really heartwarming. Definitely worth a visit if you're in mid city.
Dino Velvet
The service was great the food was amazing they have the best Oyster poboy ive ever had I ordered the louie. The crabcakes man the crabcakes was just a pleasure it wasn't like most places that all you can taste was the breading their crabcake is almost pure crab
Sarah and Aaron Rose
This restaurant was on Diners Drive ins and dives. It isn’t any of those but a great restaurant. My “always order” is the crawfish beignet, totally exceptional.
Ingrid Baxter
It's my first time visiting New Orleans my son is station here and we celebrated my 64th birthday. The food was delicious my server was excellent. I had the seafood platter which was out of bounds!
James Frinak
Casual; Convenient; Affordable; "Buzzy"; & Delicious! I was not very hungry, so I chose to order the HALF of a Muffuletta sandwich with potato salad. Boy! Did I misjudge! The "half" sandwich was ENORMOUS! It & the potato salad were great, but the lemonade was outstanding. My wife ordered the "small" house salad, and it was HUGE. Magically, though, she somehow managed to make it all disappear! Great & attentive wait staff. Visit Katie's if you are in the NOLA Mid-City area. You will not leave disappointed. Enjoy!
Melissa Tuttle
Amazing dining experience! Cool atmosphere, friendly and exceptional staff. Got the specials and they were out of this world.
Pat Burke
Nice neighborhood eatery. Excellent variety of seafood, meats & pasta. Be sure to check out the specials.
baileyride
The food was great, no it was better than great! We all absolutely loved our meal. The owner came by and talked to us about St. Louis and made us feel right at home. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and made sure we were happy. Just an outstanding evening at Katie’s, thanks!
Morgan Wallace Tremillo
Billy the bartender was great. Good food. Would definitely come back!
Matthew Peeples
I was pleasantly pleased with this local restaurant off the main tourist area in New Orleans. Excellent choices on the menu and the food was superb. They had 6 or 7 really tempting choices for the specials on the day I was there. We had a group of 11 and everyone ordered something different and then shared so we all had a good sampling of everything there. Nothing dissapointed on the food. We enjoyed sitting in the upstairs section. This could be difficult for someone that has trouble climbing stairs. Also the bathroom upstairs was small but adequate.
Ranford Roper Jr
Whenever I'm in NOLA, I must stop by and get my eat on at Katie's. Katie's had s good vibe and locals eat here so you know it's good.
Mark hayes jr
This place was amazing! We came here because of Triple D. We loved everything about it. Fantastic atmosphere, very tasty food, and friendly folks.
Lisa Lam
Southern comfort food. The chargrilled oysters are a must! The crawfish beignet is one piece but shareable between 4 people such that everyone has a decent sized bite with enough chunks of crawfish. We got 4 dishes for 4 people: chargrilled oysters, ribs, crawfish beignet, and seafood pasta
Bryson Gray
Honestly I thought it was ok at best.
Lacarma Browley
We had the swamp fries and the bourdeux. Everything was delicious. We came because I saw them on Triple D. Also the drinks are strong.
Jessica C
I came here with a large group, many of whom were…rowdy. Our waiter, Fernandez, was excellent. He was so patient with our antics and maintained a calm/friendly/playful demeanor throughout the evening evening even though our behavior did not merit it. He went above and beyond.
The food was great. Loved the Iberville pizza and my Bloody Mary! The latter had the perfect level of spice. I’d go back for it.
Philip Giunta
Wow what a crazy amazing dinner! Catfish was out of this world!!
Erica Hunsberger
For something as simple as pizza this place really blew me away. I got the Boudreaux pizza, which had cochon de lait, roasted garlic, red onion, spinach, scallions with a garlic butter sauce. The pizza is fired over stone and has an awesome cajun seasoning on the bottom.
Everything looked so good, I wish I had time to go back to try more stuff, including their homemade dessert. Loved the vibe and the service was awesome.
Renee Colombel
This place is always a joy to come to. The food is fantastic. The drinks are fantastic. The service is fantastic.
Dave Barnard
Omg, this place is a hidden Gem. Food and service was stellar! My wife said it was the best spaghetti & meatballs she has ever had. Highly recommend!
Kristian R
Food is absolutely delicious. Don't think I've ever eaten so much in one sitting.
Vanessa Phipps
Four stars because of insane price hike. Almost $70 for one margarita, an iced tea, a shrimp platter and a salad.
Shelley Haselden
The food was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the Delta Queen and my husband did the make your own pasta. Fernandez was an amazing waiter. Highly recommend!!
Arthi
Great service! If you’re going to get the seafood platter just FYI it’s MASSIVE and two of us couldn’t even make a dent in it. It’s also pretty pricey so would recommend going with a big crew and sharing. Platter is a bit greasy so it’s not easy to eat a lot of it.
Joshua To
Great food! I refuse to eat seafood, but I tried the crab cakes and they were very tasty. Katherine's Cajun Cuban hit the mark. Very tasty food.
William Martin
The food was delicious. The place was very inviting and clean. The service was good. The prices were a little high but we did not due to the quality of the food.
Natasha Gaffer
The Atchafalaya seafood pizza was so delicious and our server Q and the security guy both took care of us so well and made us laugh. We sat outside which was a great choice but when it down poured they quickly moved us inside. This spot is a gem! It was so good we went back again the next day.
Jamison Coler
I troll the food network guys around and it never fails. This place is exactly what you'd expect out of NOLA. Nice people, great food. The Crawfish Beignet is perfect.
Sydney Emerson
My boyfriend and I had dinner at Katie’s on a Saturday night. There was a bit of a wait time, but we just chilled outside until we got the text to let us know our table was ready. We started the meal off with crab cakes that were very delish (but they were $20 for only 2). For our dinner I got the chicken parm and he got a catfish po’ boy. The food was phenomenal and we loved the atmosphere! We would for sure come back again!
Vi
Food was good and hot. Try the frozen Rose.you will not be disappointed
Pete Phillips
Great drinks and staff. Main issue is that the meal we had (pizza and salad) is crazily overwhelmed with cheese. Other dishes would probably be better choices.
Good vibe on a Friday night, and staff were super helpful.
Jamil f
Loved Randy the security guard. Great food. Zyad was an awesome server. Try the garlic fries.
R.G. Aparicio, Jr.
Great food, great atmosphere, A little cold but it was most definitely a cold day!
Hannah Boyte
Great food, service, and atmosphere! If we return back to NO, we will definitely visit again!
Michelle Taylor
The bartender Billy was engaging, funny and attentive to our needs. The food is as amazing! I would highly recommend!
Helen Harrand
Loved, loved, LOVED the Achafalaya pizza here AND the char grilled oysters. Great service and food. Just a cute little place!
Kevin Tipton
Delicious Po'Boys. Friendly Staff. Clean Establishment. Mac N Cheese is tasty. Overall wonderful experience!!!
Scott Pillman
Simply the best in Mid City. A must visit, so many food choices. Extremely hard to pick just one dish. So we picked several....enjoyed the leftovers the next day for lunch.
John Page
Great locals bar and grill. Good food great service. Highly recommend.
Macks Martinez
Amazing service from Devin! Delicious food and they definitely made space for my large family! Will definitely recommend to Dallas folks visiting NOLA!!
pedro sosa (ebusinesspromo)
Great the shrimp beignet was to die for. Had a side of grilled shrimp because is a small plate.
K
Good food and good service!
The dining room is clean with plenty of seating. Tables aren't crowded/you're not bumping elbows with your neighbor.
I had the Funky Fontana po boy, which was awesome and impossible to finish in one go. The fries with gravy and cheese were tasty.
I'm a snob about this sort of thing: the bathroom was clean and pleasant to be in.
Hospitality Of New Orleans
Katie's has delicious crawfish beignets. If you like oysters try the char-grilled oysters they are great. The Po- boys and pizza we highly recommend. The location is a great location right next to the canal street car. Katie's has great service with a family friendly environment.
Cindy
HOT SAUSAGE POBOY = AMAZING 👏🏻
Joy Landers
Amazing food! Server was on his A game and the atmosphere was superb
Kaelyn Green
Wonderful food and wonderful service would definitely come back again
Beth T.
Hands down best decision we've made this trip to New Orleans. Both my husband and I are from the coast so we see this cuisine on every menu, BUT it's never been so perfectly executed. Props to the excellent service Brandon!
Charles Conti
Fantastic little find. Great service excellent value for the price
Kari Chamberlain Miller
This place is busy! And you kind of feel like you're in a sardine can, but the staff, atmosphere, food, drinks, everything is so welcoming! Do yourself a favor and get the savory beignet...OMG. totally worth the little drive.
Stephanie Welp
Great food and very lively atmosphere. Wait time was not long and the food was worth it!
Kesnit Mason
Anytime I've ever been to Katie's, the food is always so good, especially the oysters with the spinach, shrimp, and bacon. Great atmosphere and that Mid City Punch is the truth. One of my top three places to eat.
Wanda Callari
Rosemary chicken over cooked and not at all savory. Mashed Potatoes slightly above room temperature and crumble a sign of to cold, gravy not enough to even warm the potatoes. Cold slaw was good.
Edison Mills
Friendly staff and excellent food. Loved the fried oysters 👌
VJ
Great menu and tasty food; definitely recommend this restaurant 👍 …
Sherri Hinton
Absolutely amazing! The crawfish beignet is truly the best thing I've ever had in new orleans so far.
Christina A
Food is delicious. Crawfish beignet is tasteful on the tastebuds. I had their seafood ravioli special and the seafood stuff mushrooms. Their Heart Of NOLA cocktail special is delicious.
Rey C
Good food and excellent service. The chicken Marsala was so delicious.
Rey Marquez
The food & atmosphere complemented each other. There was a 40 min. wait which we didn't mind because it confirmed how good this place was. They made it easy to keep us informed of our wait times by texting us a link. We walked for about two miles up Canal Street and got a street car back while we waited for a table. So time flew by.
MyChai
Loved it. Food was really good. Service very friendly. Reasonable prices. Happy I visited here on my mini vacation in NOLA!! I am now driving home eating my cold leftover pizza, the Yardstick!! Delish!!
Will O.
I live in the same neighborhood as Katie's, and it is one of my favorite restaurants in NOLA. I order from there a few times a month and they never disappoint. The staff goes out of their way to be accommodating everytime I place an order. I'm born and raised in New Orleans and I'm ordering from here frequently, in a city with an ample source of fantastic restaurants... It's that good. I even send patrons from my work there and they always come back with a great review.
Do yourself a favor and try the Legend Sandwich and The Boudreaux Pizza (add shrimp to the Boudreaux....you'll thank me later). Enjoy.
Sandra Blackledge
The best food ever ! In Nola we loved it! You must go it’s amazing :)
Jeffrey Frank
Food was outstanding-soft shell crab was huge and delicious, double pork chop was moist and juicy. Great meal and service
Ariana C.

Ayla Sharii
Went back multiple times during our stay - so incredibly good!!!
Michelle Francois
Say it with me: #YUM ☺️ I’m very particular about my pizza (it’s a Brooklyn thing) but this right here, has made the cut as one of the Best Pizza I’ve ever had, Boudreaux Pizza. In fact everything was #Delish #Katies #TheBoudreaux #Pizza #NOLA #GoodEats #UnderCoverFoodie
Paul Brebner
great local dinner in mid town New Orleans, pizza, red fish special and blackberry ribs were delicious
Chris Chambliss
The "Stoner fries", I have no words to describe the taste and quality of this dish! A must have for French fries lovers or not!!
Brandon Myer
Food was very good. I had the redfish special. I did get some seafood sauce to ad a bit more flavor.
Natalie Hahn
Food was delicious. Service was awesome. Thanks to all! Def worth a visit.
Winnie Anne Verzosa
Something to take note is that Katie’s is not in French Quarter. :) We tried their seafood platter but we weren’t expecting it to be all fried. In my humble opinion if you can ask them to have it grilled, I think it would be better.
Carla Nichols
I love this place. It's a gem in Mid-City. I love the Cajun Cuban sandwich. I will travel out of my way just to pick it up. Definitely make time to eat here, you won't be disappointed.
Joe Bevins
The food was awesome. The red fish was great, lots of flavor. Seasoned very well. The staff was great as well.
Juan Fonacier
Remmy Stack. The best appetizer ever/meal ever.
It is so good. You have left with no room for an entree. Thanks to the chef.
Reggie Carter
Food was amazing! Only problem was our table was wobbly. Definitely will be back!
NottieDottie Martin
We had the "Special" which was a seafood pizza...and dude it was good. Our server recommended it and it was clutch. And the feta fries (good).
Melody Grossman
We had Brunch at Katie's today with our
Nephew, his Beautiful New Wife (as of Yesterday) and Her Wonderful Family and their Awesome Friends!!!
The Food was OUTSTANDING!!!
We are from Clearwater Florida area and the
Oysters and Seafood we all had at Katie's was

This place is fantastic. I love their charbroiled oysters every time I visit. It usually is a wait here but the food is worth the wait.
The staff was very hospitable. I look forward to the next dining experience!

Kevin Landry
Excellent food, good atmosphere, helpful & friendly staff. Must try the crawfish beignet.
Bambi Darnell
Great food, great service. The seafood ravioli and catfish meuniere were delicious!
Eric Vazquez
I came here for my birthday lunch. It was a long lunch. The place was busy, so you know it was good. Ten minute wait to get seated but it was fine because the staff were very accommodating. I had the catfish special. It was phenomenal. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the free birthday bread pudding was excellent. I dinnertime recommend.
Tamara Reynolds
Delicious 😋 And their pizzas can be shared with multiple people
David Kalian

Siegen Bretzke
Very crowded and waitlist system is a little confusing, but great food
JENNIFER Simpson
went for a family dinner and were seated upstairs. Fernandez was out waiter‐ what a positively awesome young man! Food was great-- katie's cajun cuban for 4 of us, a roast beef po' boy, a crabby couple and a Salad, plus alligator kickers. Everything was just right. great food and great service.
Jeremy
Tasty and friendly just like you like it.
Roxy Beaudet
Guy Fieri had pointed me to the direction to Flavortown and I'm here. Crawfish beignet is amazing!! A must eat in NOLA. Husband has the quesadilla and blue cheese fries and the fries has him reborn. He absolutely loved them. He loved the quesadilla as well. So impressed with how delicious everything was!! Food for thought: the fries were so awesome dipped in the crawfish beignet sauce. How about the fries smothered in the sauce and some crawfish and bacon. Man, that would be a meal made in heaven. I'll be back!!
Franklin Gilley
Yeah I liked Katie's, and had a good company Christmas party here
Christian Stenico
Great food, great service. Heard it was a nice date spot and it definitely feels that way. Had the Garlic Feta Fries as an appetizer and the Lasagna as a main dish. Both were good portions and delicious. Service was fast and friendly and the place was full and bustling on a weekday. You might need a reservation on the weekend but it will pay off!
Douglas Tate
Took my out of town guests here. They are from Dallas & Chicago......they LOVED this place.
Great service and top notch food.
T Maria
I had fun at Katie's with the family. we were celebrating my brother's birthday. food was a C+ and so was my margarita. service was attentive and our reserved seating area was accomodating to our group. i noticed parking not easy but then again i came straight there from the airport so i took an uber there. a cozy family spot; no frills... yet good for groups and parties.
Dale Zimmer
Great little spot! Fantastic pizza and of course the oysters were delish!
Daniele Cox
Food was great! Short wait time even when they seemed very busy! 20 min! But you can spend that 20 min outside with a drink from the bar 🍸
Palani Segee
Love the food,my first time there and I will be back.
Adam
Amazing food! triple d did not disappoint. The catfish and jalapeño ribs were top notch.
Caleb Hudgens
Amazing. Get the over-the-top onion rings and bathe in the remoulade sauce they bring. You may want to name your first born after because it’s so bomb. The special today was a double cut pork chop over jambalaya with mushroom gravy. Put it all in your face. So. Good.
Amy Simmons
They have the most AMAZING catfish on the planet!
Stephanie Fertal
This place is heavenly! The pasta with fried seafood i had was life changing. Absolutely no complaints about this restaraunt and all the food is made with such great flavor. A must try!
Suzanne .Y
This review is overkill because this restaurant already has a ton of reviews saying their food is absolutely delicious.
Kalamata muffaletta - amazing
Yellow Potato salad side - best salad other than my own. Nice balance of sweet and vinegary
Simple hamburger - nothing simple about it, it was also amazing - shredded lettuce, minced onions, hand formed patties, soft delicious bun, HUGE, definitely not a regular hamburger.
Spinach salad - real bacon crumbled on it, very mild bleu cheese crumbles, very good salad
Dobergeg - flavor of the day, lemon - light lemon flavor and nothing artificial about it.
Jesse Ganpat
Great food and great drinks. The seafood platter was enough to feed 3 of us. Will be going back for brunch very soon to check that out.
Jasmine
Very good, however, very few options for eating with some health conscious decisions. But the food is excellent plus an all day alochol menu👏 very busy place for weekend dinner time, lots of busyness and conversation. …
John Ziegler
A great local place for great food. As a local this is a place to visit. As a tourist, this is a hidden gem. Its one block off of Canal, so a short streetcar ride to some awesome food.
Terrance Thomas
Highly recommend my barber told us about this place
and then I saw nfl star Tanzel smart doing a review and
we just had to come here and try it. Our waiter slade
was awesome I never had to call him over to refill he
was always on it and took real good care of us. The
chargrilled oysters were top tier good and I would
recommend the delta Queen pasta, I like to try different
things Every-time I visit the same place but I most
definitely will get it again next time I visit with my mom.
Liz Robinson
Sooo tasty! And amazing with my food allergies! 10/10
Jataya Taylor
Wow, just wow. The food is awsome and the server was on top of it when we came in with a huge group after doing the Rock N' Roll Half Marathon. The only down side is this place is not accessible in the lease but there are tables outside. It is worth going. I grew up in Florida and live in Colorado and have been to many countries. I have to say this is one place that makes the top of my favorits list.
Sophia Santiago
Very cute restaurant! Service was great and food was awesome! Will go again!
Stephen Solen
Great food! The best crab cakes I have had in my entire life. If you don’t get the crab cakes, you are doing yourself a disservice!
Varun Bajaj
Crawfish Beignet might be one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. Loved the Poutine Fries with Gravy, Ribs and Seafood Ravioli as well! Waittime was short, portions were huge, and waitstaff was so kind. Will definitely be back!!
Ezman Machineman
It can get cramped at times and pretty loud but nothing that is intolerable. The food was excellent and the staff were super friendly. You know you're at a south LoUiSiAna restaurant when there are at least 8 different bottles of Tabasco Sauce on each table!!!
Regina Alvarez
My mom and I ate here this afternoon, my mom had the shrimp poor boy with sweet potato fries. She said it was good,👍 the sweet potato fries were very crunchy and delicious😁 I had Katie's classic cheeseburger with cheddar it was a very delicious.🍔 Our servers were very efficient everyone was helping each other it felt very comfortable. Destiny Taylor
The food was sooo good. Our server was funny and happily offered great suggestions. The servings were huge!
Lakiwa D
We were quoted 30 mins for a wait time but thankfully the wait was actually half of that. The floor downstairs felt a little slippery, I thought I was going to twist my ankle. Our server was very knowledgeable and upbeat. The food was delicious a little too spicy for my liking.
La'Rea Woodruff
Absolutely delicious and mouth watering. This restaurant is in my top 10 for Nola eatery. I promise you that you will enjoy every bite. A must try hands down. It's a small and intimate spot that offers in/out seating with a bar which adds a little extra something something. Tasty plates
John Colwell

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The crawfish beigenet was delicious. My husband and I were visiting from Oklahoma for the first time. This place was the best ever. Great service. The most delicious food ever, and had a nice variety of wines. We will definitely have to make our way back to New Orleans just for this food alone.
Chad Porter
Amazing atmosphere, food, and service. I had the redfish, my so had the Delta Queen pasta (she said it was the best thing she's had since being in NOLA), and my 2 year old scarfed down the spaghetti and meatball (which was amazing when I tried it!). All of it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other offerings.
gregory hemelt
Delicious BBQ shrimp & grits
Lacie W. Crawford

Came here because of its feature on Triple D and wasn’t disappointed. My Dad and I shared the oyster po boy which was simple and delicious and my husband had their version of the Cuban sandwich. The place is homey and inviting. Definitely worth the hype!

This is a hidden treasure! The food at Katie's is AWESOME. Get there early or you will be in a long line. So many options to choose from. Believe me...the food and service are excellent!!!

The Staff was AWESOME and very professional. The food was on point. I had the mushroom burger and my friend had the shrimp poboy. They were both very tasty. Katie's was one of the restaurants that were on my MUST EAT AT list. Now it's on my must eat at AGAIN list. Saw so many things on the menu that I would LOVE to try. See you soon Katie's Restaurant.
Roscoe James
One or our favorite restaurants! The food quality and drinks are excellent. The menu has plenty of options from casual items like pizza and poboys, to five-star daily plated dinner specials. Indoor and outdoor dining are available in this neighborhood restaurant.

Cool atmosphere. Really enjoyed the oysters slessinger!!! I was food jealous of the table next door that ordered the chicken and waffles. I ordered the breakfast pizza which was a lot for one person but good.

We saw Katie's on triple D... woah, so good. The seafood stuffed benignet was one of the best things I have ever eaten. We also shared the fries with feta and olive oil. The bread pudding was delicious and I could not stop eating!
