Simply put, one of, if not THE best meal my wife and I have ever had. All of the waitstaff were very welcoming and our server Sam was patient and kind. The food was absolutely phenomenal. My wife said it was the best fish she'd ever had and my filet melted in my mouth. We finished with the bananas foster bread pudding which was amazing as well. We didn't want to leave! I'm pretty sure that if there's food in heaven it'll be from Irene's.

This was the best meal my husband and I have ever had. The waitstaff were very welcoming and pleasant. Our server Joe was professional and polite. The food was absolutely phenomenal. From appetizers to desserts; everything was top notch. This is the epitome of fine dining.

I was on vacation for the week and decided to visit New Orleans for the first time. I came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night. It was probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly from the hostess, to my waiter, and the other guests dining in. My waiter Demetrius was absolutely amazing. He was interacting with everyone and even made the most beautiful toast. He was very engaging, funny, knowledgeable of the menu and provided the most memorable dining experience for me and my family. When I come back to New Orleans, I will definitely make another visit to Irene’s. You will not be disappointed with their food or service. Absolutely amazing!

Last night’s meal was nothing short of amazing. But the experience was even better. The drinks were outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect. Dan took amazing care of us as always. Each and every part of our meal was delicious. They may have the best filet around too.

Great place. We celebrated our 23 anniversary and it didn't disappoint. Our server was Sean and was fantastic. I had the special cantalone and Mrs had the lamb. For apps I had the meatballs and the Mrs had the soft shell crab. The winners were the soft shell crab and the meatballls. Just wow! Ambience was great and I would for sure recommend. When you call for reservations ask for Jeanne, she was great to work with.

Best meal we had in New Orleans. Our server Giovanne was fantastic. We had the crab gratin, the caesar salad, the fish and the chicken. It was all amazing. We will definitely be back next trip. Perfect date night!

Our experience here for my birthday was incredible. My husband and I commented on how it was the best service we’ve ever had! Micheal was our server, and he was great. He even got everyone to sing happy birthday to me and it didn’t feel cheesy at all :)
The food was phenomenal, and I also noticed that there isn’t a bad seat in the entire restaurant.

Absolutely phenomenal food and service here, with live Piano to boot. The Cioppinno was perfectly balanced with a healthy variety of fresh seafood and shellfish, and the tomato-fennel broth was absolutely to die for. The escargot-stuffed mushrooms were also an excellent appetizer. Hands down Irene's offers one of the best dining experiences I've had in quite a while, with a unique menu that blends traditional Italian and French influences. 10/10 would dine here again, this is where you should be going as a tourist instead of Bourbon street.
