Reviews of Herbsaint

This place was delicious and had excellent service. The waitstaff was very helpful friendly, and kept our waters full. Hot bread and butter came out before our food. The plates are small enough that we were able to enjoy the amazing flavors of a starter, main, and dessert (and drinks) and leave satisfied, not over-full. The market fish was so tender and flaky. The duck was so flavorful. Everything was excellent.

CONTEMPORARY + STYLISH, ELEGANT FOOD CHOICES - seemingly I’m a consistent visitor to Herbsaint every time I visit Nola. Everything is just so well executed, top notch service, amazing food, all served in a wonderful setting that is intimate and cool. I’d totally recommend this for a first date, or an elegant special event. I was there for a chill lunch and as always, amazing! I do like to shout out the wine lists that are considered and thoughtful, this is one of those… hard to make a poor choice on the wine, and again, the mark up is fair. If you haven’t been to Herbsaint, add it to your ‘to-do’ list!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A wonderful meal in the central business district of New Orleans. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and an eclectic but reasonably sized menu. The cocktails were well curated and the scotch list had the old standbys as well as some lesser known gems. This was a great dinner.

Food was amazing. The menu is quite small, but the dishes are outstanding - lots of complex flavors and delicate nuance. Ordered gumbo, spaghetti, halibut, and the banana tart. One of the best meals I've had - highly recommended.

Wow. Wow. Wow!! We absolutely love this place. We've been to NOLA several times and just dined here tonight for the first time and we CANNOT believe that we didn't get here sooner!!
You must go here. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable and the chef is amazing.
We dine in other spots in the days ahead but after many dining experiences to date in NOLA, this one is our favorite.
Definitely go here!!

Amazing dinner. Made reservations an hour before and when we arrived we were seated immediately. Great selection of wine. Dinner was amazing. We had jumbo lump crab with a watermelon gastrique, lamb chops, halibut, and duck confit. Highly recommend. Service was great also.

Wow! Visited for a Friday lunch. No reservation and the place was full, inside and out. Waited at the small indoor bar for about ten minutes for a seat on outside, grabbed a glass of wine and coffee. Service was impeccable and the food was wonderful. Fresh and also very flavorful. Cocktails and wine were also very nice. We had the most amazing iced latte ever, too!!

One of the best meals I've had in the past few years from the food, the outdoor dining atmosphere, and the staff. Everything was impeccable. The fried oysters, the seared white fish, the ceviche, all amazing. Definitely recommended for an excellent meal.

Exceptional. Food was stunning. Service was really good. Perfect lunch.
Best bits
- ceviche - a refreshing and spicy Louisiana-take with shrimp and cucumber
- gumbo - rich, smokey and intensely braised. So good!
- confit duck leg - so beautifully cooked, deeply flavoured dirty rice and perfectly acidic lemon sauce
Genuinely everything we ate was delicious. Cooked with care and no fuss.

The food was delicious, we ordered the dock leg ( best thing we ate in NOLA) with rice and the fish of the day (Halibut), the service was great, it is fine dinning at its
definition. They have a great selection of wine.
