Came here to drop off my UPS packages and decided to get some snacks for the airport. Everything was decently priced and looked good quality. They were super helpful and made sure to take pictures of my packages. Very happy with them.

We found Hanks after trying to track down somewhere that was open at 2am that served hot food. We got ourselves some hot fried chicken, corn dogs and something else I cannot remember (lol). It was all pretty darn good hot food. Since it was late, there was a security guard who was there and he came outside while we waited for our Uber to arrive - made us feel safe, so thank you for that!

We LOVE Hanks. We usually are there late night for Ice cream and beer. The people working there have grown to be our friends. They accept credit cards, Apple Pay, food stamps and cash. They have some premium wines like Whispering Angel that are priced better than other places around . Wide selection of beers and all kinds of booze. You see all kinds of folks at Hanks, making for good people watching but I want to remind y’all (especially out of town visitors) that not everyone is nice (or sane) so back away if anyone acts bizarrely or threatening. And always, always be polite to our hard-working friends there. No matter how silly drink you might be! Have fun yall!

Judging from the outside, this place looks super suspect from the outside. But don't let that alarm you and stop you from having the best fried chicken you'll probably ever have. It's super cheap! And even if they charged three times the price for what they charge for their chicken, I would happily still pay those prices. I've never ordered anything other than their fried chicken so I won't know how good their other items are.

This place is great! It's fast, convenient, and their fried chicken is delicious (although my personal favorite is the shrimp po-boy). Their selection of beers in the back is also quite robust and I can typically find something I'm in the mood for.

Hole-in-the-wall market, no frills, no bells and whistles. However, when the fish is freshly fried, it is literally the best catfish I have ever eaten. I have had the fish numerous times, and it is always perfectly fried, with just the right amount of kick in the cornmeal breading. Best of all, 2 pieces of fish is $1.99 (fish and biscuit, no fries). The place near me, a Krispy Krunchy brand, sells a 2-piece with fries and biscuit for $6.99. Yes, I know many may be skeptical that I am recommending a "quickie mart" for fried catfish, but don't knock it til you've tried it. And for $1.99, why not give it a try. Also, open late.

This place fills a serious void in this neighborhoood. Access to normal alcohol, delicious fried food, quick produce and snacks. Seriously, we don't all need the Utopian organic free range Champagne for 44.95 a bottle. Sometimes a bottle of Freixenet Brut and a bottle of Tropicana OJ is all we need to pass a good time with friends. Got a GF friend? They have GF snacks. Want a ridiculously good slice of chocolate cake that isn't 10 bucks? Look at the counter. Need kratom? It's there. Good tequila, spicy hot sauce. Really, you name it they probably have it. Ordered a sandwich took a Lyft to get there. I made it to stop. The Lyft left me where I had to get another Lyft because it took 30 minutes for one sandwich then was told. Would have to leave my service animal outside next time
