Greeted warmly and Seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server Paul covered the menu very thoroughly and offered recommendations based on what was delivered that day. Started with cocktails and hit appetizers. The food was amazing and we knew the entrees were going to be superb. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and left room for amazing dessert. I definitely recommend, and Paul was an amazing server if you get the chance to sit in his section.

My wife and I ate dinner here while on vacation. We searched it on Google and it was #1. We tried to make a reservation the day before we arrived, but it was completely booked. We ended up walking up to the restaurant by coincidence and decided to see if they had anything available. Thank goodness they had a table top at the bar because what a great choice. Our waitress Alexis was amazing. We asked for some recommendations and she was able to explain in detail a couple different options. My wife had the Lobster Bisque and I had the Tempura fin wings for our appitizers. Then she had the Southern Flounder and I had the American red Snapper for our entrees. Everything was amazing! We had a bottle of white wine which was also great! The restaurant was very nice and the service was even better. Definitely recommend eating here if you're ever in the area.

Such great service and equally amazing food. Had the Lobster Dumpling, Pork Belly and Watermelon, Pork Chop, and Duck Cracklin Drum. All were outstanding. Service was incredible, you can tell they only hire the best of the best. Shout out to our server Stephani, she was warm and personable and made our dining experience even better than it already was. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time if you're even thinking about coming here. In all my prior visits to NOLA, I somehow only recently discovered this place by word of mouth. GW Fins will now be on the list of the must-do spots every time I'm in NOLA Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We made the mistake of coming here our first night of our week long trip. Nothing else compares to this meal… This was an outstanding meal. When the praise is due it should be given! It’s a large restaurant no less and very busy and they seem to keep everything in order; at least for our time there. Seafood is the name of the game! Great wine lists as well, great everything. I will come back every time I’m in town. By the way they had some sort of ice cream pie that was really nice, we had snapper dishes and red fish and jumbo shrimp and so on. I would venture to say that this is one of New Orleans best, and we went to a half dozen spots looking for another great meal while we were there.

The most exciting experience in New Orleans. The decor. The copper art work. The atmosphere. And OH MY GREATNESS, our server was astonishing. She reminded me of my professor in college, a know every fact kind-of employee. She was captivating. The professional hot biscuit servers. The food was eye appealing, exquisite, tasty, and perfect portion sizes. From New York to Atlanta to Hawaii to New Orleans, GW Fins is top notch, by a million miles the best food at an affordable price. By the way I'm a picky eater and a stickler for customer service. Great restaurant for delicious seafood options. Menu seems very curated. Fish dishes are amazingly flavorful. Great appetizer selections. A great bonus is the rounds of warm, fresh-off-the-oven biscuits. They keep coming to your table and how can you say no? Drinks are stiff, but you are in New Orleans!! The red has dress code, fancy, and price is quite expensive. Bring your button-ups and give it a try anyway!

Where do I start? We called ahead and barely missed the last reservation, but they told us we could go to the bar area and still get drinks and a full menu. We did, and got two glasses of wine, two entrees, one dessert and two whiskeys. Service was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! Paul was our server and was fantastic. The manager came by a few times to check on us. All the staff were super friendly. Ambiance was perfect. The coconut shell dessert was AMAZING and unbelievably creamy. The biscuits they serve you when you first get seated were so fluffy and tasty. We had several substitutions because of lactose intolerance and they accommodated us on everything and without a hitch. We highly recommend this place. Definitely gonna tell everyone to come here!

This was some of the best seafood I've ever had in my entire life! Lobster dumplings are a must try, as well as the wild red fish(if in season). Make sure to let them know if you're celebrating something so they can add the personal touch to your meal for free. 10/10 recommended and would come back.

Had scallop, seared tuna for entree, and lobster dumpling and fried oysters for appetizer. Every dish was exceptionally good. I’m not a bog fan of seafood but man this is a great restaurant. Will definitely visit again when I come to New Orleans later. Bread pudding was also amazing.

I celebrated my birthday here and was extremely pleased with my dining experience. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was magnificent. I definitely recommend GW Fins if you love fine dining at a reasonable price point!! A special thanks to my hostess, Treasure; bartender Mike; and my server, Cordell!
