Reviews of Frey Smoked Meat Co.
Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The brisket is so tender and flavorful. I also had the chicken which was so juicy. All the sides are so good (especially the baked beans)!
They’re a must visit every time I’m in New Orleans!
The food is delicious- I had the brisket, pork belly and ribs. They were all most and filled with flavor. The coleslaw was yummy with a mustard finish and cornbread was perfect. The mac and cheese is cream and devine, with cheese crust to die for.
Such a wonderful place!
Love the great vibe and atmosphere.
Such a hidden gem for happy hour in
Mid City, New Orleans too!
Had a delicious pre-gig meal.
Got the $5 cocktail of the day and
The 2 Meat Platter with bbq beans and french fries.
Thank you so much

Amazing food and great option for catering. Frey catered a pre-wedding BBQ we held for our friends and family, and our guests LOVED the food. We had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant), but they had an option for everyone. Can't recommend them enough!
For started everything tastes really good and the service was good. The hot chicken sandwich was very fatty and small and not even photographable. We originally ordered ribs but then were told they'd be another hour before they'd be ready for another hour. For having spent $80 on lunch for three people at a bbq place I would have expected ribs to be available at lunch time. The brisket is also very fatty, which is fine but I was expecting a leaner cut.
It was a nice experience for a Saturday afternoon.
Everyone was wearing a mask and there was distancing. Our waitress was a rookie, a little forgetful but a nice person. The food was good, we had the pulled pork fries as an appetizer, that was average. I ordered the pork belly platter with 2 side orders which were baked beans they had too many ingredients in there they didn't taste like baked beans and also the corn on the cob which was a little on the dry side and it looked Ethiopian, this skinny long cob. What I should've ordered was the corn bread, now that was really good and sweet, as a side. I would suggest to the Frey chef maybe make tacos with the pork belly add cole slaw and some sauce, now that would be really delicious with a side order of fries.. All in all I can say I've been there but I don't think I would be going back on a regular basis.
The food is amazing!!!! I love love love the fried ribs and corn bread ! The fries are good .... I will definitely be back ! The brisket was really tender and so were the St. Louis ribs. The pulled pork was just okay. The service was great and the waitress was very attentive.
The fries are delicious and their frey sauce goes well on it all... I dip the fries 😩😩
Burger are thick, fresh, and delicious.
A little sloppy but I really enjoy their food.
Customer service sucks but the food make up for it🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Everything was great, from the service to the food. The honey butter biscuits are must for your appetizer. The brisket melts in your mouth and the mac n cheese was delicious.
Trying the restaurants in the area and came across this place. Um, the food all tasted the same. The smoked sausage was Italian bratwurst and the toast was a buttery mess. Absolutely horrendous undercooked roasted brussel sprouts. 3 stars for the beautiful delivery at last minute but this meal was horrible.
Frey Smoked Meat Co. is a warm food spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with this western wood theme that I enjoy from smokehouses and bbq spots. I've eaten here twice, and both times the food was just "alright" and the service was just "alright" as well.
Service wise during my first visit, the hostess was polite and offered me seating options. I chose outdoor, but I wasn't acknowledged by a waitress until 11 minutes later. The waitress did apologize citing she thought I was waiting for a to-go order, though she never asked. Second visit, the waitress was not engaged, enthusiastic, or offering of basic condiments and such, until the check came. She never checked in on me for any needs or even a drink refill, unfortunately.
First visit, I purchased the bbq platter with fries and brussels sprouts for the sides. The fries are not my thing as these are sort of those frozen battered fries. The brussels sprouts were fired perfectly and gorgeous, but very bitter. The smoked meat was not barely warm.
Second visit, I purchased the buffalo burger and wings. The burger was alright and was really salty. The wings were perfect!
Also, really clean restaurant.
At this point, I can't say I recommend Frey Smoked Meat Co. as the food was just "alright" and the service, the same. I do plan on visiting once more to check out the creative milkshakes!
The food was good but the food is good. Pretty much anywhere. You go in New Orleans these days. Lovely atmosphere and the service was exceptional
As for the atmosphere, Frey is laid back and clean. Lighting is adequate, a tad dim for night but nothing to strain your eyes over. The door handles in the front are butcher knives (nice touch!) The staff is quite friendly and helpful.
I have visited Frey Smoked Meat Co. twice and have been equally impressed both times. You can smell what the Frey is cooking as soon as you get out of your vehicle and it smells amazing! Originally, I was drawn there for the beautiful shakes they have such as the cookie monster and king cake shakes. Just the aesthetics of these shakes alone was enough. They are quite lovely to look at & the cookie monster was alright by taste. However, I must admit I had already gorged myself on mac and cheese. The pepperjack and bacon mac and cheese was divine. I have been dreaming of it ever since. I LOVE a good mac and cheese! The pulled pork chili was just as good.
My second visit I decided I couldn't fill up on carbs so quickly. So, I went with Pork Belly Poppers, ribs, and a small order of the Bucket of Biscuits with Honey Bacon Butter. I was in hog heaven! The pork belly poppers were crisp and flavorful. The biscuits were thick and delicious. If you love Popeye's biscuits- then you will love these even more. They are THICC! As for the ribs- the meat practically fell right off and to add a sauce to the dry rub would have been a debauchery.
This place never fails to be the best BBQ place in New Orleans. Everything I've ever eaten there is fantastic. Brisket and ribs fall apart and melt in your mouth. Biscuits are like candy. Top notch service. And really good sweet tea. Not to mention the shakes. 11/10 would recommend
Had an amazing experience here. The burgers had a great taste. Our waitress was very nice. And their wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD.
A local told me New Orleans has some new bbq places. This restaurant appears new to me so checking out the new bbq cooking. I like smoked meat and seafood. so I probably should have gotten smoked fish if available. But will check out the smoked brisket and smoked pork for tastiness. ESPN had thier radio show there this afternoon which was kewl. Anyway Grilled Brussel Sprouts... Yum
Yummy! The brisket chili is a meal itself, gotta get it with the cornbread, outstanding.
Mac and cheese is like homemade baked macaroni and so much cheese, a must get.
Cuban and brisket sandwiches also A+ Good fries, tasted homemade.
Can't wait to go back and try more stuff!
We went here for a late lunch. The atmosphere and service were perfect but the food was a disappointment. My husband and I got the very forgettable smoked chicken salads. Half the chicken was chewy, the other half had a good texture but little flavor. I had to pick spoiled lettuce out of the salad. Our kids said the chicken tenders and hamburger were delicious. The $5 side of cornbread was laughably small (maybe 1x1.5x3”), greasy & chewy. The highlight of the meal was the bottled Barq’s root beer. We didn’t order it but they also offer a tempting flight of great bourbons. Overall, I wouldn’t return for the food.
Instant meat sweats! DELICIOUS! Perfectly BBQd tender pulled pork and brisket. The house bbq sauce is divine. Best baked beans, good potato salad and great vinegar based coleslaw. The cornbread is my new obsession. Uber eats today, but I'll be going back for the shakes they have on the menu too!
I'm going to have to take a nap now...
Service and food is decent, I just dont think it's the best barbecue in town because it isn't beyond the mark in flavor. It is still good and I like to eat here. I had a shake here and for a hefty $10 it was deliciously overpriced.
If you're looking for good barbque Frey is the place!!! Pulled pork with their amazing sauce was delicious.
The MAC & CHEESE was the best I've had in a long time!!!
We love this place. This restaurant is all around great. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the location! It is located directly by the Carrolton streetcar and in walking distance to the park. The food is melt in your mouth delicious with freshly cooked BBQ and hamburgers to pork and brisket plates. We highly recommend this place. They also have a garage panels that open up to the outdoor seating area to give the restaurant an airy feel.
I ordered the beef rib with corn on the cob, cornbread, and a side order of mac and cheese. The rib and cornbread was absolutely delicious. Their sauces were really good too!
The food was excellent and service was exceptional. The biscuits were moist and fluffy. The sausage and pulled pork were very well seasoned. They really didn't even really need sauce. However, the Frey original sauce was very good.
Food and service was great. I will be back! I had the fried Asian ribs and the hot chicken sandwich. The fries were good with the Alabama white sauce.
Tender meat but no seasoning or taste... The Deserts were magnificent and the Appetizers were succulent and more delectable than the main course.
Absolutely everything I tried here was absolutely exceptional. Definitely try the pork belly poppers, the sauce is mind blowing and everyone I was with raved about them. I got the 3 meat platter which I highly recommend. Also, the barbecue sauce they had on the side was so amazing I even put it on my brussels sprouts. Will absolutely be coming back here to try the burgers, mac and cheese and a shake. Believe me, if you are reading this you should go here.
Everything was great. The music was the perfect volume. The server was great. Pulled pork and the brisket cheese fries are amazing. My favorite though was the cornbread. Some of the best I'd ever had.
Really good food and our service was excellent. We had a group of 9 people in our family and were able to walk from the house we were renting for the week. They got us seated right away. The ribs were really good and tender.
Everyone was really happy with their food and our server couldn’t have been better. Great job everyone!
I was totally blown away by how good this place was!!! And the staff was OUTSTANDING! The wife and I stopped here on our way out of town after Jazz Fest. I have already recommended it to several coworkers since my company is based out of NOLA. If you go, try the brussel sprouts and the SMOKED PORK BELLY!!! On a scale of 10, they dialed it to 11. Sure, the BBQ may not have gold dust on it, but I didn't have high expectations when I walked in. Suffice it to say, I was surprisingly impressed.
A lot of food and the prices were not bad. We would definitely come back again.
Don't no where to start from the ribs was so delicious and tender the potato salad was good the atmosphere was nice the young lady at the cash register she was very nice nice personality service was very fast I would definitely recommend people to come eat there this was my first time and it's not going to be my last time
They are supposed to have the best biscuits in the city. Lies. They are not really biscuits and they are just so so. These biscuits/breads needed a complement like jelly or ham.
Brisket is good. Ribs are delicious. Hot spicy chicken sandwich is perfect! Pulled pork mac is awesome. Only thing this place is missing is better fries!
Every meal we have had here has been awesome. Today we had brunch and it was very good. The deserts are great too.
The jalapeño mac and cheese and brisket were amazing! However, it was annoying that I couldn’t get mac and cheese as a side so I had to do 2 meal orders to try it and the meat. They also mixed up our order a little bit. But overall the food was fantastic. The Moscow mule I got was also good. One of the top dinners I had on my trip in New Orleans.
Excellent food! Three meats is plenty to share. The Brussels sprouts are awesome!! Dipped in the mustardy Carolina sauce is even better! Excellent service, clean restrooms.
Baby it's the pulled pork for me. The brisket Chilli cheese fries. And the final tee hee hee, the cookie monster shake. 5 star meal.
I like the atmosphere alot to begin with when u walk in a place and all u see are beautiful women that's my kinda place. The food was awesome and service was fast. I peeped out the bartender doing her thing she was very talented with what she was doing I wasn't drinking myself but I can tell the drinks were on point I would recommend them as great place to visit I know I'll be back soon. And a shout out to the beautiful staff y'all are very polite and attentive. #Great Vibes
What a great meal, fried chicken sandwich w sriracha aioli and a side of Brussels sprouts, It will be a while before I have chicken this good. The Cole slaw was one of the best I’ve ever had. Happy hour from like 3 or 4 to 7, many great options. The service was professional, ask for Kristin. I think she goes by Kiki.
Such a great atmosphere and service. There is plenty of parking and space inside and outside. The food is amazing and tasty. I love this place! I recommend it 100%
amazing Brussels sprouts
BBQ has finally landed in Nola. Frey, along with a few other spots that I will leave unnamed, have come on to the scene with a vengeance. These guys are doing it all the right way which is not a surprise bc the owner owned Rue 127, which was a special spot near by that closed recently. Jump on the Canal Streetcar line from downtown to Carrollton Ave. Lots of cool neighborhood bars in the area...Micks on Bienville, Finn McCools, Pals, Evangeline Lounge.
This is one of my favorite places to eat! I haven't tried anything I didn't like. My biggest disappointment is when they're out of their brisket. Service is always good and friendly, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. The pork belly poppers melt in your mouth, and the honey butter pairs perfectly with the beer biscuits. I highly recommend trying a 3 meat platter, it'll give you a perfect portion for sampling that won't leave you feeling empty. They also have excellent burgers! Their dessert shakes are monstrous and can be shared with your table. All this plus a patio and open air seating. Love!
Best in Nola. Far better than that place called the blue oak. OMG the biscuits over there. And a fried pork belly appetizer with the pepper jelly, divine. Not to mention way better service friendlier staff and a lot better bar selection with good local beer on tap.
The staff and management of this restaurant care about the appearance and cleanliness of the atmosphere as well as the quality and appearance of the food and the general experience for the customer. I’ve been to this restaurant on two occasions prior to quarantine and received fabulous and prompt service by their friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and charming staff. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. On my most recent visit, I sat on the patio with my dog; they even brought her a treat and a water when they brought my drink. On this occasion, I asked to speak to the manager just to ensure that he’s aware of the luck he has at having such a great staff and bragged about those I encountered. I’m unsure if the owners are regularly involved in the day-to-day operations of this establishment, but they are very lucky to have this staff as I truly believe that servers and staff make a restaurant.
Food was good. I had the brisket sandwich. I asked for the horseradish on the side but didn't get it. The sandwich could use maybe lettuce and tomatoes. The pork belly were good as usual. I should have asked for the sauce on the side because it all sinked to the bottom. Love, love the Alabama sauce so on wings, I'm a happy camper. I've been here before so enjoyed the food as usual.
We enjoyed FREY very much, my son has a peanut and tree but allergy the waitress we asked did any thing contain or would any
thing be cross contaminated with the meal she. Stopped and went confirmed with the kitchen that the only thing tha contains peanut or any thing of the sort would be the shakes. And everything would be fine. Thanks a bunch. The hot fried chicken sandwich is amazing 👏 😋. Every thing was fresh piping hot and delicious. We definitely would recommend you guys to this place the staff was awesome 👌 👏 👍 they were on top of everything
I really enjoyed my dinner tonight. My Waitress, JOHNETTE M. was COMPLETELY AWESOME. Her approach was very warm and centered on give us the best experience, possible. Honestly, good meat is good but great service makes the dining experience worth every minute, at your Restaurant. JOHNETTE has a very GREAT DEMEANOR.
She is a respresentation of what a Customer Service, should be.
JOHNETTE M. YOU ARE A WINNER!!!
Loved it. I don't know why I haven't been here sooner. I will definitely be back. I got the 2 meat special with brisket and pork belly. The brisket was really good and almost as good as The Joint's- thick slices, great flavor, not too smokey. Pork Belly was good too. My date got the double cheeseburger and that was one of the best burgers around as well. The biscuits were really good and I love the collection of sauces. We got the cookie milkshake and that was on point too.The sides are a little pricey but if you don't mind that, I'd suggest going here asap. They also have beef ribs which I didn't try but looking forward to it.
Their meats are excellent! Great price and lots of sharables. I particularly found the corn too spicy. The cornbread is probably the best I have ever had. The mac and cheese was absurdly good, I don't even like mac and cheese like that. I want to come back.
Great ambience! Would highly recommend going Friday for the fried ribs.
The food was phenomenal (I got the pulled pork mac and cheese and WOW)! My boyfriend got the top shelf bourbon flight and loved it! The service was great. I was seriously blown away. This was the best food and drinks we had on our entire vacation.
We had the three meet with brussel sprouts and baked beans. Also appetizer of brisket chili cheese fries. All very good . The three meets were smoked chicken, pork belly, and ribs. Service was excellent. All in all excellent.
Great Staff,Keaton great Pit Master,Steve real good bartender, SARAH a OG (LINCHPIN)since day one! Chance&Chase tolerate a OLD ,Fat,Ugly Veteran. If you didn't know, now you know and ABSOLUTELY BISCUITS to die for. In the land of Gumbo, our cuisine is expanding for the good!
Cool joint, smoked meats were juicy, tasty and well spiced. The service was awesome. Some of the reviews were kinda harsh but they seemed more on a personal level. Good quality meat is not cheap and they are reasonably priced. Check em out.
This is a hidden treasure. It is has the best burgers. I love there beef and hot sauce patty burger, oh that is to die for. They follow CDC guidelines, I feel safe and it's got space. Servers are very fast, knowledgeable and polite. Please leave a big tip; they are worth it.
Cool place....great food....order the giant biscuits.....you'll thank me
We went there for Restaurant Week. Great service, uneven BBQ. The pulled pork is phenomenal but the sausage is disappointingly, extremely flavorless. This is Louisiana, spice it up! We also had a Vietnamese Coffee Shake and a Vanilla Sundae, both of which were delicious. The biggest surprise was free beer, all you can drink, on Tuesdays with a $10 purchase. The free beer rotates. This night it was Paradise Park. An amazing perk!
Our second visit to Frey's and it didn't disappoint! I got the brisket and my wife ordered the ribs. Both were excellent. All the sides: fries, cole slaw, potato salad, toast, were good as well.
One of the best burgers in the city, try the fires also which are really good with spices.
This is my absolute favorite BBQ place. I just moved here from TX and I’ve been visiting for the last 3 years. I found this place last year and the Brisket kept me coming back. The pork belly poppers, corn bread, potato salad, pulled pork mac n chz, and wings are all great! I went on the 13th and I don’t know what happened, maybe a different cook since my previous visit but it was amazing 🤩 it was already great but it was AMAZING. The brisket, was so tender, the pork belly poppers and that sauce 🤤 the pork mac n chz and the corn bread was all on point. Whom ever was cooking Saturday I need you in my life 😂 Keep it up!!
I've eaten at Freys multiple times and the food and service have always been consistently high quality. I've even ordered catering from them and the food went over well with a larger group. Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality smoked meats and bbq.
Frey is one of my favorite weekend lunch places in NOLA for high-protein, low-carb lunches. Meats are usually flavorful as are the side dishes. Today, however, they were not on their A-game. I asked for lean-cut brisket with grilled corn and roasted Brussels sprouts . The brisket was too greasy for my taste and the corn was grilled dry and then slathered with garlic-infused oil to make up for it. My wife's chicken was charred on the outside, yet a bit raw on the inside. The corn bread needed about 5 more minutes in the oven.
Please do try Frey's. They just had a bad day. I know I'll be back.
Had the chicken sandwich. Absolutely delicious.
I really wanted to like this place. Mid city is the bomb for new restaurants and they have a great location. We went on a Saturday night around 6:30. Had a group with 6 adults and 3 kids took more than an hour to seat us despite many tables being open that could have been pulled together. Great open space in the front so the kids had plenty of space to run around while we waited. Bar area is really nice, but a canebrake pint and a glass of red wine were $16 and change!!!! After all that the food took entirely too long to arrive in my opinion considering this stuff isn't being cooked to order. For a place with smoke in its title I failed to detect any in the brisket or the ribs that we had. The place smelled great inside and I really really was hoping for some good food but unfortunately it just didn't live up to the expectations I had going in. May give it a shot and a few months when they've maybe had a chance to work some of the kinks out.
All that said the staff was as friendly and accommodating as they could be.and the shakes looked awesome (which they really should for $10 a piece).
Meal prices seemed pretty reasonable, but the sides, desserts and drinks are entirely out of whack.
Got a late lunch here with a friend yesterday and Sarah took very good care of us. She truly made the entire experience as enjoyable as possible and I will definitely be back. I got the smoked chicken platter with cornbread and potato salad, my friend got the Bar-B-Cuban and we were both very satisfied. Would’ve posted food pics but it looked (and smelled) so great that we dove right in!
My experience there was a very pleasant and lovely time there. For me it never about the food or drink but more the atmosphere and treatment from the servers. And let me tell you we had a wonderful server. Her name was Sofia, she took the time to explain their menu and didn’t seemed rushed or aggravated with us. Always had a smile and checked on us at always the right time. The prices were reasonable and drink selection was a lot. So if you looking to just have a good time at dinner. I was give this place a try.
I was not really impressed with this establishment. The Brisket was really fatty and dry. I really did like the baked beans and the mac and cheese was good. The drinks were actually good too. The bartender did a great job with my old fashion cocktail. I want to rate this place higher but the main dish pulled it down to a three. If i return i will have to try the smoked chicken.
Beef ribs....one of the best! Meat falls off, juicy, tender, tastes wonderful! You got to have it! 😋😋😋 …
This place is a must go if you want great BBQ
It was okay. The biscuits were a bit dry. My burger had no salt and was overcooked. My wife's brisket was a bit dry as well. I didn't care much for the sauces offered and the service was slow. I'm not sure if I would return. I love what they are trying to do but it wasn't working when I went.
I really liked the relaxed atmosphere at this place. I had the pulled pork paquitos as an appetizer and a two meat plate of chicken and pulled pork for an entree. The portions were generous and delicious. The pulled pork mac n cheese appetizer my friend had was still frozen, but the second time was pretty good. He loved the brussel sprouts and fries. The beans were excellent. However, the roasted corn was dried and shriveled up and the potato salad was fair.
Hey y'all, I just want to give you a heads up that your brisket was *extremely* dry today.
Portion size was great, fries are great, potato salad is a bit under flavored, but just fine.
But the brisket felt as tough as cheap steak fried on a pan. Without the sauces, which are tasty, it would have been a complete disaster.
One of my favorite BBQ spots out there in NOLA. Never had a bad meal. Meat is cooked just right, great sauces for exploring different tastes, good service and great atmosphere. Parking is a huge ordeal around lunchtime so give yourself a lot of extra time.
Absolutely loved the Cookie Monster milkshake! The food and service not so much!
I ordered the pulled pork (good & lean), grilled corn (on cob, good but plain) & brussel sprouts (good crispy leaves, but I wish they would slice them thinner). My kids got the plain Mac and cheese and loved it, but didn't like their plain (overly cooked?) burger. They forgot to put cheese on it. The Cole slaw is creamy but too vinegary with lots of whole onions. The beans were watery but chunky with pulled pork and tasted overly like green peppers. All of the sauces are spicy to varying degrees, but the Alabama white sauce is unique and our favorite. The fried chicken had a good crisp but not very flavorful. The sausage was good, but the brisket was strangely too tough and too fatty.
Frey was so good! I really have no problem with anything about the restaurant. We went there in a whim because of our first choice being closed due to a power outage. The food was incredible and they had a great drink selection. It also happened to be trivia night which was so unexpected but so much fun! I will for sure be coming back!
Good atmosphere, great service, pork belly nuggets and biscuits were great. Me and my wife split a 3 meat platter. Brussel sprouts were good side. We had a little left to take home. Very reasonable, $63 with 20% tip. I had 3 miller lights to drink. I will be back.
I don't really have any complaints and I'm no chef, but my significant other is... We had the brisket and pimento burger. Brisket was a bit dry. I love Brussels so I got those. They were ok. Significant Chef said they weren't done. They needed to bake or fry more. Staff may have been a bit overwhelmed and they were out of a lot. Their sauces are great, I love the location and the vibe. I'll happily try them again.
UPDATE: I ordered from Waiter cause Significant Chef wouldn't return. I didn't tell him where it was from. We got the 3 meat platter (smoked chicken, brisket and ribs). Got a solid 7 from both of us. I also got the wings because... I love wings. Unfortunately, another slightly undercooked.
Food was good. Service was not. I’m not sure that they train any of their employees. From the time we walked up the hostess prioritized call-ins to walk-ups. The waitress was slow and hardly attentive. Would try this place again, but not rushing back here. Definitely going somewhere new before coming back here.
Upon entry the smell of mild smoke and cut lumber ignited my senses. I quickly notice when seated the ceiling stacks of oak and pecan (a personal fav). Quickly greeted by hostess and seated immediately (lunch time Wednesday). Recommended by my sister (who was gleefully there for the 1st time the night before) and had to go again. Our Server recognized and talked to her like an old friend. She was patience, gracious and quick. The menu is vast but not overwhelming/cluttered. A variety of meat selections and sides at better than reasonable prices. I've been to other local smoke houses and was disappointed final selection/prices. I chose the pull-pork + smoke chicken with fries and the delicious roasted brussel sprouts. Slowly devoured every morsel, quietly humming and moaning the entire time. The sprouts were pure perfection (slightly firm and crispy leaves); pork- tender with the right amount of spices and chicken falling off the bone. Hearty portions left me full but not stuffed. Although not ordered, the dessert malts appeared to be piled high and extremely decadent. I took a hard pass (no WW points left 😉) yet others, not counting, might really enjoy. Will definitely visit again when those smoke food carving kick-in. Enjoy.
Reasonably good BBQ for NOLA. I've had better sausage but the brisket was good. My buddy ordered ribs and when they brought our food out the waitress said they had run out. Not sure why she didn't say something sooner but the manager came over and was very apologetic. Told my buddy to order anything and they would comp it. Manager came over 3 more times to check on us and apologize again. Excellent customer service. I'll be back.
I think the food is fine but the servers never seem like they care if you are there. I know things are difficult now but it was the same way prior to Covid. We went last night and the server rarely checked on us or asked how things were and we planned on getting an ice cream float and the bill was brought before even asking if we wanted dessert and then they asked if we wanted to take it out. We ate it there but they seem to be waiting for us to leave. I guess they were about to close but it didn't seem late to me. To me, even if the food was good and mine was served in a styrofoam cup (I figured that was due to guidelines) , the server can really add or take away from the experience.
We ordered Freys not knowing anything about their food being we are visiting New Orleans. THIS FOOD IS AMAZING! I had the ribs, brisket, Mac n Cheese, brussel sprouts, and beans. Excellent food! The portions were more than expected! Great service and leftovers!
Very delicious ice cream shakes and appertizer of Pork Poppers. Service staff was very friendly and helpful. Free beer and free refills of free beer with orders grater than $10 per customer on Tuesdays. Excellency in all aspects on this visit.
My son and I thoroughly enjoy the mac and cheese with barbecued pork. Bring your kids so that they can try some of their crazy delicious themed shakes. The ambiance makes this barbecue place worth checking out, for sure.
Amazing, ignore any poor reviews of this place. Best BBQ in New Orleans hands down. I come from BBQ snobbery in Atlanta and Houston, Frey destroys my notion of flavor and has upped the level of my bar to surpass. I sat at the bar and Anthony is a really great service provider and the rest of the staff has been equally as friendly. This is my first visit and plan on coming back to try the entire menu over the course of the next year. My first visit was a winning combination: Pork Belly Poppers (literally they melt in your mouth with a robust Deep South flavor), the Bacon Pepper Jack Mac n' Cheese both paired with Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar which they have on tap.
Brisket was done to perfection. Very mild smoke flavor. This will be to your taste, and if you are not a fan of a grander smoke flavor in your BBQ, this will be great for you. Great selection of BBQ sauces, and a wit on tap. My wife had a well made old fashioned, so points there. We'll be trying this place again.
Great food, really nice servers!
So tonight I decided to venture out to a new neighborhood restaurant to grab a bite to eat once the kids and the Mrs. went to bed. I arrived at Frey a half hour before closing. Was greeted warmly by the co-owner and father of the chef, another Fred. Then Ray, his son, co-owner and chef, joins in.
We start talking BBQ and bourbon. He pours me a taste of his favorite new selection. My to-go order is taken at the bar with a flight of bourbon and "snack" of pork belly poppers that accompany a flight.
This food is so good, it is all I can do to bring the taste home as my wife asked me to do.
Cabbage and cornbread are only slightly behind the pork belly poppers as my favorite thing on the plate. The brisket is amazing but I had my taste buds ready for some ribs.
Don't come a half hour before closing expecting to get ribs or chicken. They were long gone.
I love New Orleans and love my neighborhood. The reasons to love just grew by one with #Freysmokedmeats moving in.
Amazing, ignore any poor reviews of this place. Best BBQ in New Orleans hands down. I come from BBQ snobbery in Atlanta and Houston, Frey destroys my notion of flavor and has upped the level of my bat to surpass. I say at the bar and Anthony is a really great service provider and the rest of the staff has been equally as friendly.
I opted for the pulled pork platter, which was a generous portion size. The pulled pork was pretty good, although I'd prefer it plain, rather than have the barbeque sauce already in it. The cabbage wedge was a little odd, as it was kind of tough to eat that way. The corn bread was awesome and our service was good. Our waitress, Tiana (Tee) was very friendly, knowledgeable, provided excellent service, and had a great personality, which made our dinner much more enjoyable.
If your looking for BBQ...no one has BBQ like this place does. It's innovative and deliciously goodness in your tummy. For my first time, I was impressed, but the only downside is that there is nothing to offer picky-eaters and/or young children. Mostly for adults. Atmosphere is awesome for a nice groups or singles looking to mingle.
Frey's is great, but I always end up stuffed. The burgers and kitchen sink milkshakes are fantastic. The mac and cheese is also really good. I was very disappointed in the biscuits though as they were unbelievably dry.
Tried the coolinary menu for the first time and the brisket taquitos are to die for, for the entree i chose the pulled pork tacos and they are heaven in your mouth! The bread pudding desert is so unique with the recees cups, it melts in your mouth. Our server, Randi, was perfectly charming and efficient. She checked on us frequently and made sure we didnt go without anything we needed. We got a few drinks from the bar, and we were told that Evangiline made our drinks and they were remarkable. Even with the restaurant packed, we were treated as if we were the only ones there and i would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen. The whole staff makes the setting so welcoming, like home.
Beat place in town for excellent smoked steak, burgers, angus...etc
Menu is simple but food is outstanding! The location is very clean. The environment is casual. Therefore, no need to dress up. Most of the patrons where dressed in jeans and sneakers. The environment is very inviting as you can smell that smoked cooked flavor two blocks or so away! Definitely will make your tummy grumble in anticipation of dinner.
Servers are very friendly and attentive. Hostess are professional and responsive to customer needs. Dining inside is small and tight but they do offer an outside dining area that is a patio setting. Very comfortable on a cool night! Great spot for the family or dinner with co workers. Plenty of parking space which is well lit. Most plates come with option of house beans, coleslaw, or French Fries. The night I was there they ran out of beans which is supposedly their specialty item. They must be good if they ran out! I ordered fries in their place. The owner was at the door greeting the customers as they came in and super friendly. This adds so much more flavor to the environment! Your made to feel welcomed upon arrival! I Highly recommend!
Food was delicious. Had the brisket with potato salad (5/5) and baked beans (3/5). The sauce it came with was a bit too sweet, but they have other delicious options!
Great food, great atmosphere, the loaded fries are awesome!
The ribs were falling off the bone - so delicious. Best French fries ever. Even the grilled cabbage was delish. The mac and cheese was super- cheesy. And the hot chicken sandwich was really big. And spicy
I'm from Texas so I've eaten my share of Q. This place will not disappoint. I highly recommend the pork belly poppers and the ribs. The brussel sprouts have a nice char on the outside with a little citrus tang. The fries are nice and crisp not limp and soggy.
It's a nice space, very cool interior. But it's a was out of downtown, it's pricey and the portions are tiny tiny tiny. I'm not big on over sized portions but these portions were tiny. Ordered the plate for two (or maybe it was called the meat for two) and by the end I was trying to convince my wife she was full.
It was pretty good. My smoked chicken was under cooked and they wanted me to believe it wasn't. I personally love smoke chicken so I smoke my meats at least 3 to 8 times a month. I know what smoked cooked meat looks like. Besides that, the service was still awesome.
I saw this place on Nola TV, I couldn't wait to try it. Wells it didn't disappoint, the good was awesome and the Bar B que sauce was very good. It didn't over power the favor of the food, the staff was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will be returning. My waitress Ashlee is awesome, thanks for a great experience.
The BBQ is pretty good. Bring your appetite. There are a variety of sauces on the table. The Opps sauce was my favourite. Had the 3 Meat plate. Sooooo much food. The pork belly was very tasty. The brisket was a little too fatty in the middle. The smoked chicken was delicious. Try the potato salad. Would go to again.
So good! All of it. I have had a lot of the menu. I highly recommend the brisket sandwich (don't be fooled by the horseradish cream, it's one of the best things I've ever eaten). The biscuits are also incredible!
Usually I would've given at least 4 stars. On our last visit the outside table was dirty. I don't think their had been cleaned in a while.I was very dissatisfied with my burger it was bland. They were out of chicken which disappointed my wife. While I like dogs the view of the staff petting and rubbing the dog and even bringing other staff outside to also rub her brought on a grave concern
Frey's is pretty quality bbq. The bbq platter is a great deal, particularly when you get 2 meats. The chicken in the platter is average, but the pork and beef options are all quite good. The additional sauce on the side is entirely unnecessary, unless you really want to sweeten up the meat. The sides are all very good as well: mayo slaw with pepper and mustard; beans lightly charred, sprouts roasted but not crisped. Potato salad is only thing lacking as much flavor as others. Either way, definitely worth a meal.
Easily the best BBQ I've had in New Orleans, and as a Texan, this was the meal that gave New Orleans BBQ its own identity to me. I can't recommend anything, only because you should try everything. There's a great bar too, with the local staples as well as a decent curated microbrew selection. OK, I lied, one recommendation, brisket chili is my life now.
Very solid bbq platter. I did the 3 meat and enjoyed all 3. Beans were an interesting variation and brussel sprouts were well flavored. Will certainly go again...
Brisket sandwich was awesome! Mac n cheese burger was good, but get the brisket. Great assortment of bbq sauces. Wish we'd had room for a milkshake, they looked amazing.
I wanted to have the Beef Ribs but they were out. I had the three meat platter; A brisket, pulled pork and smoked chicken. It came with two sides of cornbread and roasted Brussel sprouts. It was excellent. Only downside is that it's about 20 to 25 minutes outside of where we were staying but it is worth the trip.
This good is so Good. It's kinda high but worth every dollar
Very good barbecue! Service is decent. The only issue I had with this place was when I had questions about the menu and food options, the server didnt really know anything about the food. Still a good experience! Would recommend...
First visit the Brisket was wonderful. The cold slaw needed to be put into a chopper or shredder as it was way too massive. The potato salad was Ok.
Second visit Ate the Beef Ribs which had way too much salt. The BBQ beans were flavorless and the potato salad was Ok. Also tried the BBQ hot wings which were tough, over cooked and very spicy. Nice Building and excellent service. They most definitely need to get their food up to par.
Good Luck!
I must preface my review by saying "i ordered the wrong thing at a bbq place". That being said what i ordered was absolutely terrible. On Friday the "special" is a pastrami sandwich, if you are thinking "ruben" you would be thinking correctly. This however was a pitiful example of pastrami, most of the "meat" on my sandwhich ( which was literally served on a slice of bread that u get at the grocery) was inedible fat. I had brussels sprouts as a side and after a liberal saltNpepperin they were ok. The sprouts had hardly any seasoning, no sauce at all and were pretty much just grilled. I tried all 3 of the sauces at the table, the "oops" was good, it had a mustardy flavor but not carolina bbq sauce mustard and vinegar. The orignial was pretty tasty and had i ordered a meat to put it on would have been a great compliment. The last sauce the "alabama white" was defiantly sour. This sauce was supposedly horseradish based but all i got was sour vinegar and bleh. I gave this place 3 stars cause the little bit my lunchmates allowed me to scrounge from their plates was very good.
The food was great and the shakes were amazing! Ate way too much, but all of it was delicious and I wanted to try more. Brisket chili was great and the barbecuban was also fantastic. Nutella Reese's shake FTW
I highly recommend the pork belly. It tasted like candy. Their corn bread is the best I've had since audubon club houses jalapeño corn bread. Frey's is not jalapeño but it's perfect. Also their brisket was amazing. The ribs were ok, a little chewy. The biscuits were big and flaky but undercooked in the middle - even when they came back with a new batch. I have been here before and love their on steroids sized milk shakes. So I am a customer for life.
Where to start? From the array of sauces to the awesome sides, the place is a much needed oasis for anyone who appreciates quality BBQ. The brisket and pulled pork were top notch and it's apparent that the Hogs for the Cause awards were no flash in the pan. This place replaces The Joint as my go to bbq place. And just to cement its position, it features two of my favorite burger options: one topped with pulled pork and Swiss and one with mac-n-cheese. Bring your appetite!
Great Mac N Cheese and Cuban sandwich. Pricing is appropriate and the wait is never long. I also love the decor and the layout. It's a intimate but not overly so.
Ordered the 2 meat platter (Brisket and pork)for take out. It was good but nothing really outstanding. I thought the brisket was bit dry. The pulled pork was aite. The brussels sprouts and texas were the highlights. I am definitely going to give this place anther chance and maybe try something else.
Amazing good and full stock bar. Milk Shakes cannot be beat. They are huge and one of a kind. The cotton candy and cookie monster are amazing. Must try if you are in the area.
Starting with the good. Our meal was delicious. However, I probably won't ever go back because at 7pm they were out of 2/3rds of the menu items. This was our second attempt to eat at Frey because on our first attempt, they were closed at 815 pm because they ran out of everything. I've worked in restaurants for a decade, and can't imagine a valid reason to run out of that many items that frequently. They must either a) do it on purpose for some reason I can't possibly imagine, or b) be very poorly run. They have been open for months now so working out the kinks isn't an excuse. The service was pretty good, but one member of our party was given the wrong meal. They claimed that he did order what they brought him and he didn't fuss, but I would suspect they ran out of the other item and just brought him something else.
If this was 10 years ago, I would say it's the best barbecue in New Orleans. But it's not 10 years ago. And it's not the best barbecue in the city.
The brisket was greasy, the pork was dry. The sides had good flavor, but some were a little overpowering, especially with garlic.
Great food! Even better service! Thanks Chelsea!
Best items are the milkshakes and pork belly poppers. BBQ is just ok.
I had a bartender with red hair that was super helpful with the menu. Great customer service. Frey had a great whiskey/bourbon selection and the Beef Rib was out of this world.10/10 would go again TOMORROW
Awesome fried chicken & BBQ. This is a fun place with really good food. The milkshakes are over the top, a must try.
These guys know how to smoke meat and have fun with their customers.
I learned that beef ribs are MUCH better than pork ribs, and they were cooked to perfection at Frey. Everything we had was amazing-the Brisket Chili, Mac-N-Burger, Beef Ribs, and crazy shakes.
Food was great! You should try the pulled pork, sausage, corn bread and potato salad. The atmosphere is amazing and the woodwork is so beautiful. Would be a great low key date night place.
Wonderful food! We had the best sandwiches and sides we've ever had! Great service!! You've got to check this place out for sure.
took a minute for me to realize where it was located when driving but once we got there everything was very very good. the server checked on use but wasnt overly annoying. the food and drinks were amazing, that was our first time but not our last time going. Highly Recommend Frey!!!
Great meats, pretty good sides, and decent sauces. I enjoy eating at Frey, but I have found other sauces at other places I like better. The meat and flavor of the meat is top notch!
The burger taste just like my meatloaf I make at home. Well done was medium. Service was good fairly quick. 40 minutes in and out.
This place had the best mint chocolate milkshake that I have ever had. It was huge. The mac and cheese is scrumptious. I will be back here again. Come hungry to this place. The portions are great.
My daughter and I were really disappointed . Atmosphere nice ( kinda' chain looking ). Bar looked nice. Meat not good. We tried a variety. Ribs did not seem cooked , etc.
The food was delicious, but the service was really slow. We went midday Sunday and there were a few open tables, but I understand they might have been short staffed. Prices were similar to other bbq places in the area.
The Milkshake God, Cow-abunga, has smiled on this building and its staff. Filled with some of the best ice cream I've had since I was voluntold to hand crank the bucket for an hour, the tall glass was lined with oreo and chocolate crust. The whipped cream made me slap my wife, but she understood why once she tasted the magical fluff. The soft cookie and delicious cupcake on top had me mimicking a vuvuzela in approval. Enjoy!
This place is AWESOME. I had the jalapeno mac and cheese hamburger with fries sorry no picture I was hungry and thought about the picture after I had a couple of bites but you got to go for yourself and get the food enjoy the atmosphere...
The food is great but a little pricey. The macaroni isn't considered a side so you have to pay $7 for a small cup of mediocre macaroni if that's what you like with your barbecue.
Demi is a great bartender! Very cool staff. The pineapple margarita rocks! Great place to stop by before or after making groceries.
Great food, loved their drink of the day, a Fall Cider Sangria. Very warm and welcoming staff
Food is great. Get some cornbread and brisket or what ever you like. Food is great. Sit at the bar. The bar tenders are great. Didn’t give it 5 stars because no one deserves 5 stars.
Hit or miss with what you order. Brisket was over cooked, ribs were average, but chicken and sausage were good. The pork belly poppers were excellent.
Came here for the coolinary menu. The brisket and pulled pork were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beer was cold.
Awesome awesome awesome! Loved the service, the drink special and the bacon pepper jack mac n cheese. Oh, that the brisket. And the pepper jelly pork belly poppers.
The bbq was excellent thr texas toast was good fries awesome wish mac and cheese was available all the time can't have bbq without mac and cheese.
I stopped eating cornbread about 25 years ago. Let's just say that Frey convinced me to change my mind. I'll ONLY eat cornbread from Frey! Great job, Avangela!!!
Ribs were so tender they fell off the bone! Brussel sprouts are a must have! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Friendly laid back atmosphere. Bbq is fine for bar food.
If you're looking for a pile of delicious, slow cooked, tender meat then Frey has you covered on all accounts. Try their giant shakes, they are amazing!
One of my favorite BBQ restaurants in NOLA. The pulled pork is my favorite. The French fries are delicious and the corn bread is so good.
Good barbeque. A little pricey, but not bad since you get decent portions. Only thing lacking for me really, was their sweet tea. But that's really just a matter of taste.
Typical decor and atmosphere inside. The bbq was good, but they really didn’t serve much meat for the money you paid for. Wasn’t really worth it if you ask me.
Great ribs. Skip the coleslaw and potato salad -they aint right. Fries are good.go for fatties not the flatties.
Did not try the food went for the milkshakes. They are really good our table ordered 3 different ones and shared. They always a a seasonal one that changes so ask about it.
The ribs are the best!! An appetizer of those, an order of cornbread and a drink will be more than enough food! Quick and friendly service.
The beef ribs are delicious. They are in the mark with their beer selection, Brussels sprouts and corn bread. I think the prices are pretty good too.
The barbecue is good but The brisket has alot of fat and the Brussel sprouts are always burnt. The potato salad has no mustard and its chunky
My new favorite place in New Orleans. This place is dangerously good. Like it’ll straight up ruin your life good. Cornbread is phenomenal.
Place has solid BBQ and open everday. The Pork belly is delicious and the Hot 🔥 Chicken sandwich is 👍. …
Their pulled pork and french fries are very delicious! Great service too.
First to try this restaurant. Please with the smoked chicken, potato salad and baked beans. Gotta try the ribs on my next visit. 😋 …
Great food and excellent service. Beef Ribs were humongous. Sides are real good. You won't leave hungry.
I am a big biscuit fan, and their biscuits made me so happy! Ribs, brussel sprouts and corn were all great, too!
Ive missed the pulled pork and had to stop in and enjoy some! Highly recommend u check it out!
It's ok, Alabama white sauce was good, they charge extra if you ask to substitute a different side dish like cornbread instead of fries
Food was great. I got the beef brisket. If I could have gotten beef ribs, they would have gotten a 5. They were out of ribs when I was there.
Have nothing but amazing things to say!! The cornbread melted in your mouth and the pulled pork Mac and cheese was so good!! Will definitely be coming back!!
Pork belly poppers? Yes... yes.
One of the few locations that has beef ribs. The Mac n' cheese is a meal on it's own. Make room for their Cookie monster shake.
We love coming here with our family. The food is always great. The Cookie Monster shake is awesome
I cannot believe how unbelievably satisfying the "Breakfast Burger" was! The bar was in beautiful order, friendly employees and some of the most crave - worthy food I've eaten in a while!
Great & Friendly Staff. That half & half burger is a must have so good. My favorite is the grilled corn absolutely good.
Clean good food not to pricey but the wait was a bit to much
Great place. Food cooked perfectly. Tender pulled pork and ribs.
Really enjoyed the fried ribs.
Good barbecue, but everything is too spicy for my wife, and it is very expensive. No reason it costs $70 for 2 to have BBQ.
Was a great trip, at a time where most restaurant visits end with a sub par experience, they restored faith that you can still have a great out to eat experience
Amazing meat selection, my favorite is the pulled pork and awesome flash fried brussel sprouts! And the ice cream desserts are unbelievable!
I had the pulled pork sandwich. It came with fries. The meat was delicious and the fries were very crisp. I will be going back.
The corn bread is killer. The mac n cheese and the meats were excellent and Mary was amazing!!!
This is some of the best bbq I have ever had and I'm from Texas!!! The service was outstanding and the milkshakes OMG 🤯 10/10 …
The meats were absolutely incredible the reason why I’m writing this review is because of the baked macaroni eight dollars for a pint of overcooked Kraft macaroni and cheese very disappointing
Cool atomphere with great food!
GREAT food. Had the seasonal milkshake, kingcake and the brisket. Definitely a good place to eat and with reasonable prices.
Fantastic food, prompt service and a fabulous dining experience without breaking the bank. The biscuits are some of the best I've ever had.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant featuring all manners of barbecue. Highly recommend the brisket. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Miss larri was amazing first off. The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the while experience. The Mac bgr little messy but tasteful
I had the pulled pork with beans and potato salad. It was all tasty. The service was great!
Food was okay...my ribs were somewhat fatty, but were tender....service was good and has a nice atmosphere inside...
What's not to love about free beer on tuesdays. I will try more of the food next time i visit, didn't have much of an appetite this time, but the food I did have was ok.
These food wasnt great but it wasn't bad.. they also ran out of French fries at 3 in the afternoon
This was my first time having New Orleans BBQ and it was great... Fair price fast service and that corn bread...MY GOD
Consistently delicious and great staff. Pulled Pork Max and Cheese & the Brussels Sprouts are a MUST.
Food was good, I'm a beef rib person, it was a little too fatty for me, but still good flavor.
Great food super clean. Maicin was an awesome waitress. Will return often.
Great staff, pork belly poppers are 👌🏻👌🏻
10/10 would recommend — Sarah at the bar is an absolute delight …
Fried chicken sandwich was pretty good. Big sandwich. Going for the brisket next. That looked great!
food was excellent great service and would recommend it for all to enjoy will come back for some cornbread for sure 👍 …
Everything was absolutely delicious. Mac and Cheese, Slaw, Beans, Ribs, Pork Belly, Chicken. All so good.
Frey is a great eatery food seasoned good everything has flavor 😋 …
They did not have brussel sprouts, which are incredible. BBQ as always was great great sauces to choose from
Excellent little place. Meat is on point and cooked to perfection. A little pricey but worth it!
Never had a bad meal here. One of few restaurants where I try everything on the menu.
Wonderful!!! Some of the best food I have ever ate, and the prices was reasonable..will definitely go back!
Love the BBQ, potato salad has a tang to it I didn't care for, corn was good, biscuits great!!
The bar staff is amazing! I didn't care for the food but the milkshakes were delicious!
Chicken was moist and tasty as well as the pulled pork, sides of cornbread, baked beans and brussel sprouts were all very tasty
Great BBQ. Chilli is outstanding. Great for those cold days. Always good anytime. Service is very good.
Great food, chill, industrial loft kinda vibe, great burgers, and their shakes are dope :)
Everything about this restaurant is awesome!! I'm a Memphis native and I know good BBQ. This is good BBQ.
Phenomenal one of the best barbeque places in the state. The meat has been consistently great
Kid friendly. Good food. Good service. Pork belly bahn mi was fantastic.
Brisket sandwich was fantastic, good beer selection too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Food was good, but closed at 9pm on the weekend, and we felt rushed to finish. Check hours first.
Great food with wonderful service. Will definitely be back
OMG!!! literally everything taste good here. They are pricey, and portion size reasonable.
Excellent bbq with distinctive flavors, great sides, very good service. Recommended!
This place is definitely overrated. It wasn't bad but it wasn't awesome. I did like the Alabama sauce on my pull pork sandwich.
I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwich, the fries, Brussels sprouts, and the Tuesday banh mi special.
Always smells so Delish for blocks away All types of meats, very nice place, drinks etc
Food was good, service was slow but it's fairly a new establishment so I'm sure it will get better.
Great food, good prices. Meat wasn't very smoky flavored, but still good.
The food was delicious and portioned well.
Good tasting Barb b Cuban sandwich but very little meat. Good fries.
Pork belly poppers are a must. I think I just found a new favorite bbq place in NOLA.
We love this place! Friendly, has a small menu, but everything is great.

Never had eaten there before, but certainly will again! Delicious!!
Delicious food and nice atmosphere at reasonable prices. Very accommodating with kids.
Great service food and milkshakes!!! Also great for meat lovers. :)
Best thing they serve, that's always good- Brussels sprouts. Although MOFO may have them beat
We had a great lunch , parking was excellent, the chili was perfect , brisket was delicious
Average bbq, staff not very knowledgeable. Every BBQ place should know what a Carolina is.

Excellent food, and service to match from trey at the bar!! Visit number 5 to follow asap!
Good food, good service. The sides are underwhelming for me personally.
Nice unexpected experience son in law took us here
Highly recommend! Food is delicious especially the biscuits!
Food is so good it makes up for the fact that they often run out of a certain meat. I'm not even mad.
Cornbread is amazing. Service felt a bit rushed.
Food was good and service was quick for our big party
Great service and food.. Wicked drinks too... Lmao...
The ribs are great all around !! Flavor and meat falls right off the bone !!!
If there's one pure, good thing left in this world, it's the food at Frey.
Went here on a rec from a friend
pleasantly surprised by the food

We just had the shakes, but they were amazing.
Food was good, would like to come back and try more food!
