Reviews of Frank's Restaurant

Great hole in the wall Italian joint.
I definitely recommend trying the Muffuletta.
They are very big and have the option of a whole or half (let you have the option of sharing)
There’s a lot of history and family pictures inside. Makes it the perfect mom and pop restaurant. Very easy to get to and find. Lots to do around it. (Shops)
There is a upstairs and balcony seating, it is though not always open. So you may be seated inside. But I highly recommend checking this place out.

My 1st time at Frank's Restaurant. I had a great experience. I had the fried shrimp seafood platter with fries. Lots of tasty shrimp and the fries were delicious. I also had a slice of cheesecake which was fresh and out of this world. Several other customers said the same thing about the cheesecake. Other customer meals look very nice. I'll be going back again to try some of the pasta dishes!

We found this little gem through happenstance. The food was delicious and the service was even better. We enjoyed talking and getting to know the creole history of not only NOLA but of Brenda’s family business. We had the Angel hair pasta with grilled shrimp and the red beans and rice.

Found this quaint little restaurant while wandering looking for a place to have dinner. The meal was amazing! We had ordered chicken Marsala and chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were delicious! Portion sizes very generous! The salad was fresh with homemade Italian dressing. Delicious! Would go there again!

We stumbled upon this authentic Italian restaurant after our original restaurant destination closed their kitchen early. We started with drinks, an Amaretto Sour and an Italian Margarita. Both were mixed well and strong. For dinner we enjoyed the Shrimp Gigliano and Shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine partnered with the fresh made garlic bread. Make sure to try the Garlic Sauce that is bottled and on the table if you like a little hot spice. We ended up buying a few bottles to take home. It felt like we stepped back in time and enjoyed the front window table they sat us at.

Highly recommended. Hurricane and Bloody Mary's are delicous. Seafood gumbo is very tasty. Muffelletta is gigantic and could feed 2. Shrimp po'boy was fresh and excellent. Our waitress, Kathy, took great care of us. Will return.

This is the second time that I visited Frank's Italian, and it definitely continued to excel. The Osso Buco blew me away, the best dish I've had at a restaurant in years. Our server Katie was a pleasure, and chef Jose did our table right.
