I had the pleasure of being served by Leola. She was sweet and very attentive. This was our first time here and she explained the menu thoroughly. She ensured we understood everything and constantly came back to clean the table and ensure there wasn’t anything else we needed. We opted for the full experience. The salad bar was good and had a plethora of items to try. You must sanitize, wear gloves and a mask while grabbing your food. The. Gentlemen coming around to offer meat were very pleasant and accommodating to our well done requests. Would come again!

So many people work here and so many different people helped us, but this unique restaurant was hard for us to understand and navigate at first. It wasn't until James came by and really took the extra time to explain the process to my elderly mother that we truly understood how to proceed. Amazing food, unique concept but the winner of our experience by far was this kind and charismatic man. Absolutely hope to be able to go back soon.

First time diner to this restaurant. Absolutely amazing experience. From the market sides, hot sides, and the endless amount of fresh carved meat, every option was absolutely delicious. Almost couldn’t stop ourselves. Faith was the first person to greet us at our table and she was so sweet and so helpful and gave us everything we needed. Landon was prompt and concerned about our satisfaction throughout the night. We must thank all of the staff for their amazing service this evening. We really enjoyed our girls night!

The best, and only Brazilian Steakhouse in downtown New Orleans. Give yourself enough time to enjoy all the different cuts of meat! All can be cooked to you exactly temperature liking. Although the salad bar is fantastic, be careful not to eat too much there, otherwise you will lose out on the delicious meat.

This restaurant was eloquent. Although I don’t eat meat they had some seafood options to choose from. The service was amazing. The Manager James Was very customer Friendly. Our server Alexis was the best, a very hard polite worker. And the other server named Landon made funny jokes making the experience even better. 10 out of 10!! Oh and the cheese cake is everything.

An absolutely splendid experience, I can’t wait to come back. The cocktails and wine were delicious and the food was even better. Landon was such an amazing member of the staff and offered such a great service experience, hope to get him again next time!

The market bar has a great selection of cheese and meats. We come every month and the service and food are consistently great.

We come to this location whenever we are in NOLA. Service team was very attentive. Leah and Teddy were great. The manager (Houston/Spring native) stopped by for a friendly chat. Other than the bacon wrapped sirloin, Landon was the highlight of our visit. He was helpful, accommodating and friendly.

I always have the best experience at this restaurant, even though I visit different locations in different cities, it’s always still superb service. Salad bar was filling with all of the salad fixings and more. Prosciutto along with other meats and a multitude of cheeses. Pastas, potato, chicken, shrimp salads. Fruits and vegetables. I ordered the buffet and wasn’t disappointed at all. Turkey, chicken, pork, beef, duck you name it and it was served. Waiters/Waitresses very attentive and helpful. Very relaxing environment and atmosphere. My meal alone was a little over $78.00 with tax and I tipped over 22% making my bill a little under $100.00.

Gary is AMAZING. We were in town for a conference and didn't make reservations so we had to go to the bar. CHEAT CODE ALERT! We arrived during HAPPY hour and good thing we did. We ordered one of every item offered for happy hour including drinks. Both were $4 each. Now if you've been before you know that the price per person is about $60. We our bill was less than the cost of a couple on date night. We got to taste everything from lamb chop, empanadas, beef ribs, pork ribs, chicken and spinach dip and more. For drinks we had a caramelized pineapple old fashioned, and a super fruit lemonade....OMG so good. Believe me, we left full. We loved everything. The four star rating was because we had a party of four, three black women and one white male. It was assumed the white male wasn't with us.

Highly recommended restaurant for meat lovers The meats are fresh and done professionally. I didn't score with 5 stars because the salad bar was not as good as the one in Manhattan. The price is fair, and you get a very good value for money.

Absolutely a must. Well worth the price. Choice cuts of meat brought to your table cooked the way you want it. James brought us so many different meats. He anticipated our needs and brought each choice without overwhelming us. Sabian and Andrew were excellent. Don't go there with anything but an empty stomach. The only thing I didn't like was they asked if we wanted spring or sparkling water but didn't let us know that it wasn't complimentary or included. That was an additional $5 each for spring water.

First time learning curve. Drinks were weak, not typical New Orlean glass of delight with dinner. Steak was flat, fire roasted. Lacked season. The chicken and lamb made up for it. Definitely coming back for another round of trial and error. The service was unmatched amazing. Folks work hard here for sure.

First Experience was great! Took my mother while visiting New Orleans. The reservation was at 7:15 we got a buzzer on arrival and only waited a few minutes past the time. Not bad for what looked like a busy Sunday evening. The buffet was delicious. Not your “usual” potato salads and fruits to choose from. Definitely recommend if you’d like to try something new. The dinner service was fantastic! Flip a card “green means go” kind of thing and meat(many different cuts of beef,chicken, lamb) arrives to your table until the card is flipped to red. Mashed potatoes, polenta, fried bananas were brought out in between food services! Highly recommend this interactive meal. It may be “pricey” but you definitely get what you pay for. You aren’t leaving hungry by any means!

Fogo de Chao, what an excellent dining experience filled with excellent and seasoned food. Keyword is seasoned food, which is why this is definitely a spot that I will be dining at once a month. For the most part. The food is so delicious that I visited for the first time on April 29, asked my friends for gift cards due to my passing a few final exams, and returned on May 5 to dine again. I purchased the Churrasco Experience, which includes the Market Table & Feijoada Bar. I consumed the beef ribs, sirloin, garlic beef, new york strip steak, ribeye, fried bananas, polenta, warm pao de quijo (cheese bread), mashed potatoes, tomato soup, Fogo caiprinha and the strawberry hibiscus caiprinha, and ordered the caramel cheesecake. Everything was excellent. Even the dishes that did not cater to my palate. They were still, high quality, fresh, and hot/warm. The cheesecake definitely had to be made in-house. This was in the top 2 best cheesecakes I've ever consumed. The only things I was not a fan of were the marinated chicken, the polenta, and that the pao de quijo had no cheese in it. The feijoada bar had such diversity from smoked salmon with capers and onions, grilled eggplant, grilled zucchini, fresh fruit, an already mixed caesar salad, several bean salads and more. I did expect the bar to be larger, but it truly does work in its size. Levi is PHENOMAL, I think his title is gaucho chef, I am not sure. Both nights I had the pleasure of him stopping by my table. He always appears relaxed and enjoys his job. I had to give him his own tips. What was interesting was when he said he would put it in the staff pool for them to share. Shows you what type of person he is. Though I wanted him to have it. Fogo de Chao is a must try and I highly recommend it. I will return frequently!

it was me and my wife, after all finding a place with "brazilian" food for us is sensational, however when we entered the woman at the reception, a little rude, informed us that the waiter would inform us how it works, 20 minutes passed, other people were served that they entered after us and simply no one attended to us, I asked if anyone spoke Portuguese and they brought me a kind young man who explained to me how it worked and left me with the waiter who finally served me, when serving me I felt the bad smell that came from the feijoada really a lot badly, I informed the manager that at the first moment it was redundant right after he cordially brought me a new bean, I served another dish and to my surprise a cockroach like the one in the photo below. well the atmosphere is incredible, service regular to terrible, the manager would give 5 stars did his best to correct the mistakes. now the meat is wonderful highly recommendable.

It was Mardi Gras Day. Busy for sure. We did have reservations. The salad bar was great as usual. We rarely saw the servers with meat. We did sit near the front of the restaurant which was a long way from the kitchen. It was good when we got meat. Just not as good as other locations we have been.

On the particular day I visited the restaurant, I’d called prior to place a to-go order. I typically get my orders from Fogo de Chão delivered; however, I was right down Canal so I stopped in. I was told on the phone I either had to place an order online or go to the bar to order. Once I walked to the bar to place my order I was told I couldn’t place an order. Imagine my announce at this point. Thankfully, Nick behind the bar was such a help! I explained my situation to him and he kindly called over a manager and I was able to place my order. While there I decided to have a strawberry lemon drop + the empanadas. My empanadas came out burnt so I received fresh ones. My friend ordered the saucy legs and they were so good. I love how they handled the issue while I was there. Food has never been a problem except for this one time but that was immediately taken care of. I would certainly I sit again.

Fogo de Chão was the “carnivore heaven” that everyone needs to try. All meat served were juicy, crispy on the outside, and perfectly spiced. Pace yourself because you will get meat sweats, haha. The service is excellent. The interior design was beautiful, modern, well kept and clean. Try the "churrasco experience " which is the continuous tableside service of signature cuts of meat, with the side of mashed potatoes, plantains and fried cassava. Dinner churrasco experience is $60 per person, and lunch is $44. The buffet bar was great offering lots of choices like salads, veggies, cheeses, smoked salmon, cured meats, seasonal soup, and Fogo feijoada (traditional black bean stew with sausage). It’s worth it, especially if you are celebrating any occasion. Overall, I highly recommend.

From the moment we called and said we would be late, and was IMMEDIATELY accommodated, I knew it was going to be a great experience. Everyone was friendly and the meat never stopped lol. Landon, the floor manager of the night (I believe) was very inviting and personable. I would 100% recommended this experience to anyone and we will definitely be coming back. Australian Wagyu steak is very decadent melt in your mouth is a mount of butter . The dry age Tomahawk Ribeye steak taste very well on the mount of Himalayan pink salt with chimichurri sauce on the side . Pao de Qeuijo taste very well nice bread texture with cheese .

We were here celebrating my mom’s birthday, and he was very engaged, ensuring she had a great experience. Our server Joshua did a splendid job as well! Stopped in for dinner while visiting New Orleans. We go to the Fogo in Minneapolis once a month or so and really enjoy it. The New Orleans location was not a whole lot different, but the market table was smaller. The meats were also slightly different, but still great! The service was outstanding! Specifically one of the meat cutters, I believe his name was Jason. He was super cool, management material for sure. Get him into the guest experience management role, lots could learn from him. Definitely a great experience, all around.

We have had two excellent experiences dining at this location! We had a delightful server , Miss Daniel who has gone above and beyond to make my family feel right at home. The staff, managers frequented our table to make sure we had refills, sampled all of 26 meats and to make sure we were taken care off. Next time I’m visiting I will be sure to stop by and request Miss Daniel. Restaurant is clean , bathrooms are well kept and the food is excellent!! :)

Wherever I go I always visit Fogo de Chão, it was recommended to me by a really good friend and since then they always have my heart! Everything about this restaurant was great. Very friendly staff and great food but I believe they're feeling the strains of being short-staffed. Not once was my water refilled even after asking and our hot sides came as we were preparing to ask for the check (about an hour after seating). I think with either more staff or organization this is easily a 5 star experience.

If you’re ready for a slightly pricier meal, this is definitely the place to go. We came in with a party of 8 at dinner rush and we’re kindly accommodated without a reservation. You’re sure to get excellent service and be able to try all sorts of meat. If you purchase the full experience (around $60) the meat and salad bar (which includes cheese and other interesting items) is unlimited.

Absolutely amazing. Service was immaculate from start to finish. Delicious food, friendly staff (including Landon who added so much to our experience and overall a great experience. I recommend adding an indulgent steak. It feels like a lot but you will not regret the taste and the feeling of fullness. From bartenders to servers to even the music you will feel comforted, welcome and definitely fuller than you ever have! 10/10.

Went here for my mom's 55th birthday. Had a very large party and the staff was able to accommodate. Landon took care of our table, and constantly checked on us throughout our reservation! Fogo never disappoints, but this birthday was made extra special by two VIPs. Precious was absolutely the kindest, most attentive person we have met in a long time. She answered all of my questions ( and trust me I asked a ton). She never lost patience or focus on our needs. Fresh plates, drink refills, and a friendly smile. We never had to even ask! Landon made sure that my number one request was a reality. The white cheddar cheese with honey is amazing. As soon as I asked, he had someone working on making it happen. True heaven on earth! I love this place! I've dined here several times and they never dissappoint. Destiny was my server today and she was great 🥰 but The entire staff is exceptional and very friendly. If you tell just one of them that you want a particular cut of meat or other item, then the entire staff is informed and they make sure you get what you want. I love steak cooked medium and medium-well and this place does both well. The portions served at the tables are small but filling especially if you take advantage of the very fresh salad bar and the sides of potatoes and cheesey bread.

Came for my boyfriends birthday and everything was phenomenal! Shaq was awesome! He brought out some pork but knew my boyfriend loved the bacon wrapped chicken and brought some out to him and kept bringing it to him. He was awesome. Amazing food! We decided to go for it and order the $125 wagyu New York strip. We loved every bite along with all the sides that came with it! Now the service was slow and they even forgot to put our steak on for us. After some time of waiting and indulging on all the side dishes and rolls they finally brought out our steak and it was out of this world. They did give us a 20% discount and 2 free deserts which obviously made up for our long wait. Definitely recommend trying this experience!!

If you are visiting New Orleans or happen to be in the area or even a delicious cocktail visit Fogo de chão you will regret not going to this restaurant during your stay. The food here is absolutely incredible with a wide variety of choices including but not limited to (steak, lamb pork etc. ) The staff are very respectful and service is amazing. The staff are also very attentive and deserve every dollar they make and more. Every type of beef cut you can think of they’ve got and they walk around ready to cut u a generous piece. This double story well decorated place is very clean and extremely well presented we felt like we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant and one of the people I was sitting with said “taste like I’m in heaven” I have to agree.

I’m originally from Brazil, so we always try to visit brazilian steakhouses everywhere we travel. This was the third Fogo de Chão restaurant we have been to (Orlando and Boston were the other two) and it was the best one of the three. Not only the food and drinks “tasted more like home”, but the service was fantastic. Even though, we were very satisfied with all the servers in the restaurant, Zeke hands down was the best one. He went above and beyond and really made a difference for our experience. Thank you Zeke, we really appreciated your attention, charisma and hard work to go above and beyond. For me it was a very positive experience and I hope I can come back here soon.

While in NOLA we need a break from all the declicious local food. We found Fogo. It was right up our alley and exactly what we needed. One of the best salad antipasto bars we have experienced. The meats were perfectly seasoned and salted. The variety of meat offered were perfectly cooked and offer a variety of options. There was only 1 thing that would have made it perfect. Honestly, I hardly ever leave a review that isn't 5 stars because Im not a Karen, but this place was underwhelming for the cost. We were here for a dinner with friends & I expected it to be 100%. It could have just been a bad night. I'm not sure. Here's how it went: Host was kinda rude upon entry because he had been unable to fulfill the reservation as requested. (They didn't have our tables right, despite the reservation, so we all had to sit apart. ) The price paid for the amount of food we got was nuts. They served bacon-wrapped chicken for one entree & the chicken was RAW. Pluses: Other than the chicken, the food was good. Our waitress was a doll & so sweet.

Everyone knows the experience at Fogo de Chão so it's not much I can really say. The salad bar was great. I love some bacon so that sweet bacon with the spices was incredible. I had a massive amount of meat since this is why we go. Yes I loved every bite. It is a bit pricey but we'll worth it.

Make reservations (even for early lunch) or they’ll make you sit on a couch under some stairs and gaze at empty tables with a few happy guests attacking the market table. At least the wait for the seat gave me time to plan my attack. Don’t fill up on the market table, despite all of their enticing options. You must stay focused. You’re here for the meats. So don’t let that market table mess with your appetite. Good luck and enjoy Fogo’s high quality tasty meats on sticks. Papaya has digestive enzymes that will help you process all of the meats you’ve shoveled into your face hole. So even if you don’t have room for dessert, you get the papaya cream or you’re dumb.

We saw they had a loacation in NO, so we decided to take a weekend trip expecting it to be just as good, and hoping it was to keep from traveling so far to Houston. We were disappointed. So I'd give this a 5 but when we ordered the addon tomahawk rib eye (which either way I won't order again because it's just not worth it. The passed around meets are about as good even if you don't get to take a giant caveman bone home) the waitress came back saying I didn't ask you how you wanted the tomahawk cooked so when they asked in the kitchen I just said medium. That's a bit messed up right? I would've ordered medium rare but really would've asked for it closer to rare. It's a $95 extra cut. Ask me how to cook it....

My wife and I came here for our 14th wedding anniversary. She chose this restaurant because she LOVES steak! FOOD: We had the seafood tower as an appetizer and my wife had the Churrasco experience. I had the Chilean sea bass. My advise to this restaurant is to remember this is New Orleans. The seafood tower was bland. It needs to be amped up to compete with local seafood flavor standards. My wife did enjoy most of the meat she ate with one exception. The lamb was dry. The Chilean sea bass was very good. She had the creme brulee for dessert. She said it was fantastic! I wanted the key lime pie but was told they were out. So I had the acai cheesecake. It was very good. SERVICE: On approximately 10 separate occasions one of the people bringing the steak around offered the table next to us more of whatever meat that particular person had and then walked away without speaking to us at all to spite the fact that she had her disk flipped so the green yes side was up. She had to wait far to long for her drink each time and on one particular occasion she had to ask for another diet coke four times before receiving it. CONCLUSION: I do not believe we received the quality food or service we paid for. We totally understand that it may have just been an off night for the restaurant but we are not sure if we will go back or not.

I believe Ive been to this restauraunt in Dallas, But I didnt remember it being this expensive. The water pictured 6.75 a bottle. A plate of brazilian steak is usually $50 .This was 10 dollars more. 3.00 for a glass of tea. The meat was not higher quality then similar places the Dallas locations. Anyway the service was pretty good. I do recommend for that reason, just be prepared $$$ wise

Um, yum! Its so delicious your child will WANT to try new things. Its worth the price for the experience. Amazing staff and decor. I have nothing bad to say really. Large variety of grilled meats. The cold bar has a lot of pickled items, but we enjoy the tart flavor.

AMAZING!! The quality of food here is fantastic! Valet parking out front is your best bet. The inside is a beautiful setting for stuffing your face and getting the meat sweats. Definitely recommend for any type of occasion. The staff is wonderful and quick to serve.

Come here for an excellent lunch. In an area where everything is battered then deep fried, Fogo de Chao offers a salad bar which includes unlimited trips. This is not an ordinary salad bar either. It has smoked salmon, cured meats and bacon. They also have nonalcoholic drinks if you want to give your liver a short rest. Service was very friendly and nice.

This is definitely one of the better Fogo de Chao locations and the meats are usually well seasoned and well cooked. With that said, I refuse to pay full price for the dinner here and typically wait until I receive a coupon for $25 off. On my recent visit, they kept the meat coming so no complaints there! The Market Table options were good as usually…especially the bacon! The side dishes did not meet the mark. The polenta and caramelized bananas tasted terrible, and they’re usually really good. The cheese bread was good but much smaller than it was when this location first opened. I was celebrating my birthday on this visit and was allowed to choose a free dessert off the menu. I chose the Crème de Coconut (similar to a Crème Brulee). I’m so glad it was free because there was nothing special about that dessert. Overall, service was great minus the guy who initially came to our table. Thankfully we only saw him that one time.

4 stars because my small cut of sea bass didn't come until after my date had finished her buffet type meal for 10 or 15 minutes prior. It was very good after 3 people went to catch it for me.
