Reviews of Fiery Crab Seafood Restaurant And Bar
Sydney Hamilton
Let me start off by saying I'm not a seafood person. I was in a party of 7 and this was the restaurant they picked. Walking in there is a great atmosphere and smells good. We sit down and our server was super friendly and quick. When it came to order our meal she was very knowledgeable of the different options available. Once we got our food we were all amazed how good it smelled. When I tell you I ate all of the crab and shrimp, I'm not kidding. It was the best seafood i have ever had. It was warm, it tasted good. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. We spent about $125 for a appetizer, 2 seafood bags, 1 side and 2 drinks and it was worth ever penny. We will definitely be going back.

Food is good, but the people are better! Went 2 nights in a row, George the bartender is the man! Make sure y’all try to eat at the bar, he will take care of you. Also order this off menu: grilled oysters! Best I ever had. I wouldn’t recommend ordering any of the fried rice thou, very bland. Other than that the experience had been amazing. House seafood boiled is the deal, get fiery mix sauce super spicy. This place completed my trip in New Orleans. Will be back another time!

UPDATE: went back, sat at the bar per usual. the bartender didn’t know what champagne was, a mimosa, a Bellini nor what certain liquors were. I asked what champagne she poured and she said Chardonnay… forgot something i ordered and when i asked for utensils to break the crab legs, took a dirty one from the sink, hand washed it with just water and handed it to me. 🤣thus my 5 to 4 star rating
In regards to cooked seafood prepared on demand, this spot makes downtown New Orleans proud. Located a block off Canal St. We were lucky to get bar seating, so no wait time. Handicap accessible. on street / garage parking. didn’t get the chance to check out the bathroom but i’ll adjust review if necessary upon my next visit ;)
The strawberry drinks we ordered were fresh, however a little on the too sweet side; We managed to finish.
Truly enjoyed ourselves despite how busy it was, we got everything we ordered in a timely manner.

You go out of town to try new things, and one place that I recommend trying would be this one. I tried their fried frog legs for a first. They were very good. Also the rest of the food was good as well. The wait time was long, but outside of that the service was good.

My daughter and I had a great time. Our waiter, Algernon was very entertaining!
We both thoroughly enjoyed our lobster feast. My daughter Couldn't get enough and went back the following week and they did not disappoint once again with the boiled seafood.

Saturday-I ordered boiled snow crabs, hot wings, and a catfish basket. Everything was fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was upbeat. I sat at the bar, my server was attentive and my food came out quick. However, I was partially harassed by security which put a damper on my experience due to her saying an employee stated I was taking photos of them, but I showed security I was simply making videos of my food. Didn’t even want to pull my phone out anymore because it was kind of catty girls on the sideline, not sure why, but they should have felt honored if they were being photographed, they were pretty …professional and entertaining but that almost got them 3-4 stars instead. :) #awkward ending..SO don’t take pics!

The food was a huge surprise for the price. We had gumbo, 3 fish baskets and cajun sausage with three drinks for $45. Our server was delightful and well attentive. You've got to go here.

2 orders of the crawfish set/special was the right amount for 3 people- we ordered the medium Cajun fiery spice and it was delicious!
Their sweet tea is too sweet in my opinion, I would ask for half unsweetened next time.

Food was really good, but overall experience was less than good. We’re given only one crab leg cracker for five people. We asked for more. Response was, because some people stealing them, restaurant stopped providing them more than one per table, and that the owners charge waitresses for stolen food. My drink was super sweet, I asked to make it right. I think it’s been just transferred to different glass. I don’t think we would recommend it to anyone.

If you’re not afraid of flavor, this is the spot to go for a phenomenal seafood boil in New Orleans. For two people, we ordered a pound of snow crab legs and a pound of head on shrimp (don’t wimp out and get shrimp that’s already peeled, you won’t regret it) and it was the perfect amount of food. The combo of all the seasonings was such a flavor blast. We got the medium spice but plan to order spicy if we go again, medium wasn’t very spicy at all.

Busier than other locations but that translated into fresher food because it’s not just sitting in the back. The Fiery Cajun Hot is the way to go. Ordered the lobster special and it was delicious. Enough for two people to share. Made the mistake of ordering a side salad and it didn’t look anything like the description. Shredded lettuce and shredded cheese are taco toppings not salad. There was an 18% gratuity added to all orders due to different events going on in the city.

This was so good, it was a great time and experience we had the House platter, frog legs, hush puppies, oysters and some of our party had po boys. The house platter was my favorite dish that I had in NOLA. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant looked clean.

We came to New Orleans just for the seafood and this place did not disappoint. We got the combo #3 and it was excellent! Our server Ronnie was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide. I recommend this place for boil seafood, apparently not many restaurants offer boiled seafood. The alcoholic drinks were pricy but we're in the city so that's expected.

This place has a friendly and laid back atmosphere. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. We weren't quite sure how to order our food and she showed us how easy it was. You can choose the seasoning and the level of heat. I choose mild and it was perfect. We got our food really quick. Only about 8 minutes. It was hot and delicious!!! They exceded all of our expectations. We both got the shrimp special which came with a 1 pound of shrimp and a 1 pound of snow crabs including corn, sausage and potatoes. You also have the choice of having the sauce on the side. We choose to have it on the seafood and it was fantastic!! Omg! It was soooo good! If you like boiled seafood, I highly recommend The Fiery Crab. We are definitely coming back!

We traveled from little Rock Arkansas looking for some good cajun seafood while visiting New Orleans and ran across Fiery Crab. It was the best decision we made. The food was soooooo good. And the had the best crab legs. They were seasoned just right and the Catfish and shimp were the same. I couldn't believe how much Flavor was in the food.

Came in from out of town. Saw all the reviews so decided to give this place a try. It is in downtown NOLA. We could not find a parking on the side of block so decided to park in the parking garage across from the restaurant.
We went in around 4pm. Was not busy. Took us 5 mins to be seated. 10-15 mins to have staff take our order after asking for assistance. Had no idea why the wait since they seem to be staffed enough for the amount of traffic in the restaurant at the time. After the waitress came over, she was nice and attentive. I ordered the special seafood boil $42 fiery Cajun seasoning. My husband had the grilled fish combo $21, came with fried rice(he says fried rice was just brown nothing stir fried, it was blah, not special). Their sweet tea was so sweet! Had to ask for a cup of water to dilute it.
Good part was the seafood boil, it was delicious. BAD part was parking. If you have big cars, be concern parking in this deck across from the restaurant. It is hella out dated. And an old deck. I don't see how it passed inspection on top of clearance is so low. Our Toyota Tundra with big tires barely made it down level 3. Almost took our antennae off!. It's $20 to park.
It was just an experience but I don't think I'd return.

Seafood heaven! 🙌 OMG. The flavoring of the boiled seafood is AMAZING. It is on the pricier side but well worth it. The restaurant itself had a comfortable and friendly feel. The street that it was on in New Orleans was nice and safe. Delicious!

Had a wonderful late lunch after a Saints victory!
The staff was extremely friendly and eager to help us during our meal. Most definitely will be back.

First time visiting New Orleans. Got in late and this place was still open and close to our Air B&B. No wait. Staff was friendly and the food came out pretty quick to serve a party of 10.

This place was recommended to me by a staff member at The Roosevelt a Waldorf Astoria. I had the Seafood Gumbo with a Louisiana Mule. It was served quickly, extremely fresh, and super tasty. My taste buds were in pure ☁️💗 HEAVEN 💗☁️. Dee was my waiter and gave more great recommendations on things I should do and see next, which I did!!🙂
This is a MUST visit, and I walked here from the Waldorf. Super safe as well!!
There was plenty of seating available at the time I went, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I ate here recently and it has officially made it to the list of places we'll go back to when we visit NOLA next. There was a wait for the table, but all service staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The food was fantastic! The king crab legs were meaty and well-cooked, not overdone. The flavors of the boil and sauces were on point. We did have to wait awhile for our bar drinks, but again it was busy that night. Growing up, my family always did a shrimp boil with potatoes, sausage, and corn, just like they serve it here. We'd dump ours on newspaper, here they serve it in a bag with a bucket for shells. If you like a good old-fashioned southern seafood boil, this should definitely be on your list.

Excellent food! We ate here 4 out of 6 nights in NO! Super friendly staff. Fast service. Seated immediately, ordered within 5 minutes of seating, food to table within 5 minutes of ordering! Little pricey but if you're on vacation and want to treat yourself this is the place.

Great sea food combo with a cajun seasoning! The market price of Combo C today (Jan. 11th 2023) was around $48.

This was my first time having red crab and I had a seafood broil. The crab legs and lobster tail was fresh and did not taste fishy. The restaurant was nice and played good music. I would go back there for the food and the atmosphere.

This place was right across the street from our hotel so we decided to try it out our first night. I am glad we did because we absolutely loved the food! It was fantastic, very favorable and left us licking our fingers wanting more! It was a Saturday night and they were understandably very busy so it initially took a while for a server to get to us. Aside from that, the staff was very friendly, loud and fun environment, and we even witnessed a Second Line parade go by outside. Highly recommend 👌

DELICIOUS! Everything tasted so fresh and the flavors were amazing. Price was also good. I got a shrimp & crab boil.
You can choose your flavor and spice level!
Worth the trip over

The food was delicious and Kat was amazing! She took special care to show my aunt crack her crab. She got all of our orders correct which was amazing considering we had a party of 17.

So let me start by saying that the food was okay. I asked my server for the hottest lobster but it was mild. She charged me almost $60 tip because she failed to remove my 4-year-old. I'm glad I live here because if I didn't she would've charged me and they physically needed the card to remove the charge

We did the family platter for 3 or 4 persons! It was my mom and I (we'll eat for 4 lol) we LOVE seafood! Was very good! Garlic sauce was delicious!

The food was absolutely amazing & the drinks were delicious & strong. Anndrea was our server & she gave the best service...the best I've ever had in my 30 years. I absolutely recommend this place & Anndrrea as your server!! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could!!!
