Excellent New York style pizza half a block off of Bourbon Street. They are not exaggerating when they say the slices are huge. We actually ended up coming here twice during our trip because we liked it so much. They have additional seating on the second floor, and there is a nice little balcony there. My only criticism is that this place is very expensive. A single slice of pizza will cost you $11, and a fairly small fountain drink will set you back an additional $4.

Cleanest bathrooms by bourbon street! The slices seemed a little expensive until I saw the size!! Wholly guacamole talk about huge! The toppings were plentiful and the staff are polite. Let's take a moment to soak in the flavor and delightful crunch from the crust.... my taste buds are still recovering from that adventure it was so good. The sauce isn't overly robust and I appreciated that! It's a comfort food for sure and wish I would have purchased a beer because it would have been better with one of their 7 beers on tap! Don't even get me started on the delicious soft pretzel! As big as a small pizza, the beer cheese was good, thr mustard was better, but it was REALLY good in their sauce! I would definitely visit again when in the area. Fat boys pizza... until we meet again, stay fresh and original!

We were walking towards bourbon street when the fat boy statue caught my eye, upon going towards him I saw a welcoming face waving for us to come in. Danielle the bartender was asking us if we wanted to sample the drinks. I picked a couple and we tried them. Some were not for me, but some were absolutely delicious. So my hubby and I purchased a drink. Not only was Danielle super friendly, but she was super sweet in giving us recommendations. We were not interested in pizza for lunch, but we were having such a good time with her, that we ended up getting a slice. It was pretty good. This place is fun, and definitely a place worth checking out if you are in the area. This was our first experience in a local restaurant, and we felt she went above and beyond! Thank you Danielle for being such an amazing and sweet human!

Went in late in the evening. Pizza came out pretty quick. It was hot and fresh. Location was conveniently located in the French Quarter near Bourbon St. Went on a weeknight, so not terribly busy. Ordered a pepperoni slice and a meats slice. Staff was friendly. Pizza was great. Apparently there is a pizza change available as well.

At first I second guessed how good it could be if they have to reheat each piece but dang.. it’s good! Soft and delicious. The pieces are HUGE. We sat at the bar, ate and had a drink. Finally found a restroom. Staff was nice.

Holy tastiness! Pizza was HUGE, hot and delicious. Service was superb! There was more seating upstairs that we didn’t notice until we were finished. Definitely recommend. Plus the margaritas were strong and delicious

Slices were extra large, but pretty bland. The employees were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, lots of windows for watching all the fun in the French Quarter. Although the slices were large, they're still only a slice and a half so not worth $10. Yes, a single slice is $10. The 30 inch pie is $40. I wouldn't go back.

DID YOU MISS ME, CAUSE I’M BACK… I’ve been doing a lot of traveling, eating and experiencing life in its rawest form! I’m so happy to get back to reviewing though, these newer ones should be more exciting, better photos, better food & better locations! New Orleans didn’t disappoint AT ALL! Our bachelorette party for my BFF was a blast and the city is so full of positive energy and never ending things to do! I encourage EVERYONE to EAT while you are visiting. After a night out partying or even just strolling the streets and taking everything in, make sure you stop off at this pizza place and indulge in everything you can! From the pizza, to large pretzels to da-quarries, Fat Boys will give you EVERYTHING your heart desire in New Orleans! I can’t wait to return! 10/10 recommended!

The pizza slices are huge!! $12/slice. One slice is at least 2 normal slices, maybe 3. Pizza crust is thin and taste is ok. The upstairs balcony room is a cool architectural room to see and eat in.

So, probably one of the best pies I've had in a long time. If you like New York style, this pizza rocks! We ordered a 30" meat pizza for 4 adults and we had PLENTY and shared with some people that work at the hotel we are staying at. This is definitely a great conversation size pizza.. that tastes outstanding! #sizematters

Pizza was pretty good. The prices outside the shop are outdated, everything was around 2.00 more once you get inside. Pizza slices are huge. They have a pizza eating challenge if you're up for it. Eat a 2 ft slice in 7 minutes for a t shirt, gift card and name on the wall. We weren't brave enough. Pretty good atmosphere. They have upstairs seating.

These slices are huge, probably the equivalent of 3 normal slices, and I couldn’t even finish mine! My boyfriend and I came in off the street, ordered 2 beers and 2 slices of pizza, and only ended up spending $28 which I thought was a good deal, if you’re gonna eat here, head up stairs! It’s much nicer in my opinion

This pizza was delicious! We had pizza at another location the day before, but it was NO comparison. I really hoped to find NYC style pizza & this pizza came close to that. I was a bit surprised by the $10/slice price, but it was huge (& in the French Quarters where everything is pricey). Would def go back & recommend to others.

If you imagine a HUGE pizza able to feed 2 extremely hungry 17-year-old boys & their parents, this is it! Four people devoured almost all of this slightly over-priced pizza with enjoyment. No regrets, we’re in the French Quarter where EVERYTHING is extreme!!

Coming from a native Chicagoan I have to admit it was decent pie. No I wasn’t hammered I was completely sober. The slices truly were huge. It made it a little challenging to have but you have to perfect the fold and eat technique. The daiquiris tasted good and were a decent strength too.

Fat Boys is such a fun pizza joint! My friends and I chose it based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! Conveniently located half a block from Bourbon street, these massive slices are sure to quench your appetite. I recommend taking the cable cars down to Bourbon street and walking the rest of it, especially on the weekends!

Great Pizza - both in quantity and quality. Also the backyard is really comfortable to sit. Price is OK’ish - 10-15 $ for a huge slice. Depending on gender, size, famine, and other factors one person will require one to two slices. As a couple, we took three slices for ~40$. We‘ll happily return once we travel to NOLA again.

The pizza tasted great, and yes the slice is huge, but why should a single slice cost as much as a whole pizza elsewhere? With a tip, our two slices were $30... That's WAY too expensive, even after drinking hurricanes and craving pizza!

My husband and I ate at Fat Boy's on St Peter everyday for lunch while on vacation in New Orleans. The pizza is out of this world good. One slice is the length of a cookie sheet. It's filling but not heavy. They have the best soda pop I've ever had. As good as the food is, the staff is better. They were all super nice and attentive. the pizza pictured is only half a slice. Just opened Halloween weekend 2021. Service is excellent and staff is friendly. Inexpensive and yummy pizza. Shout-out to the girl behind the counter and the young man running the pizza. I hope this place is still open the next time we visit New Orleans.

I like eating here! The main attraction is that they sell gigantic slices of pizza. It's basically a small pizza in the shape of a triangle! It's really good if you like New York style pizza. Most people do. It does have atmosphere, very similar to a New York pizza joint. I enjoyed it.

The Hog pizza was delicious!! The pulled pork, the bacon, the BBaq sauce, the jalapenos...so good!!!! I was thoroughly impressed. I paired it with the Jungle Juice daiquiri and it was perfect. Staff was amazing, very attentive; can't wait to go back and get a sweater!!

Tried Fat Boy’s Pizza during a visit to New Orleans and I absolutely loved it. The pizza was delicious. We ordered two slices, each slice was about $11, but it was a huge slice! The staff was friendly and the wait time wasn’t too bad (about 10 minutes).

Fat Boys Pizza was delicious- and crazy huge. We had four people and we could not finish the entire thing. We have away two slices to random people on the street, and I am pretty sure they ate well. Our pizza was truly covered in meat and cheese. I would recommend it for those who are really hungry and like the parading bands that bring the music of New Orleans.

In the French Quarter, good food is surprisingly hard to find. Fat Boys Pizza was actually really delicious. The slices are huge (two could share one slice). Nice thin crust, good sauce. Two thumbs up. Best pizza slice I had in the quarter. The other joints are dreadful, cardboard. If you are in the mood for a slice, go here.

The only place in the French Quarter where my family was able to dine in on a HUGE pizza!! 2nd floor was open with little to no people where we were able to relax and enjoy our king size pizza. Staff was super friendly. The only drawback was having to take the stairs to the 1st floor to get a soft drink refill. Great photo opportunity with their mascot dude.

The hospitality was absolutely phenomenal, special shout out to Kirk who checked in on us and brought us extra water and crushed red pepper, sweetest staff in New Orleans!!! Came here with a bride after the wedding while we were going for an after party! We were at a nearby bar and got very hungry, stopping here. We ordered the large pizza, not realizing we were at the famous fat boys! Thankfully our group of 8 were very hungry from celebrating all day! The pizza was absolutely perfect. Even with a basically packed place, our pizza only took 25-30 mins to be made fresh. It was the perfect place for us, and we got to sit at the tables in the courtyard to enjoy. Highly recommend, so glad to have found a good pizza especially being from NY area and being a bit biased 😅

This is a great new spot right off Bourbon st. The atmosphere was great, the staff was fun and friendly, and the owner was amazing. We were so happy we stumbled, litterally, into this place. The hog with the pulled pork was our favorite but all the pizzas had fresh ingredients and good flavor. Well definitely be back!!

The pizza slices are large, but it is very typical street pizza. Not a lot of flavor (or cheese), but a ton of grease. The staff has a very IDGAF attitude (which, given the predominantly drunk clientele they have to deal with, is not entirely unforgivable).

My beautiful wife and I was walking down the street and seen the " Fat Boy pizza " we weren't hungry case we just ate but went in to check it out and the PHENOMENALLY AWESOME bartender Danielle " My Béby " (in her cool Louisiana accent 😁) was cooler than the tasty Daiquiri samples she offered us which were purty good !!! I tried fat boys today for the first time because I wanted to do a photoshoot with pizza and I heard they had the biggest slices! I got the skinny boy and it was so good and the structural integrity of the slice is really impressive! It held up the whole time!
