Stoped here for a quick lunch. The inside was bigger and nicer then I expected. The Gumbo was great. The artichoke was a little overstuffed but it tasted pretty good. The waitress was nice and friendly. She brought us a dish of new potatoes for an appetizer that tasted like they were fresh out of a crab boil, very good and spicy. Some of the other customers plates look delicious too. I recommend trying this place out. I would come back again.

This was a fantastic place with absolutely delicious food. Our waiter, Patrick, was the best. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We had the stuffed mushrooms and crawfish balls for appetizers. So delicious! I had the seafood gumbo and my husband had the seafood salad, we ate every bite. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My experience was pleasant and the service was great! My family came in and our group of 7 was seated immediately. It was the middle of the week so no large crowds. I enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms the most.

They have a great fried seafood platter. It's huge and can feed several people. It's not seasoned but I dunk everything in cocktail and tarter sauce anyways so it's not a big deal to me. The bread pudding is so good and I always get it when I come. The boiled potatoes basket at the beginning is just perfect as well.

There's something to be said about the classics. Deanie's has been a constant in the New Orleans area food scene for as long as I can remember and that's not a bad thing. Don't come in expecting fancy decor or a fresh new menu - but come for a true taste of New Orleans all around. It's hard to have a bad experience here and should be on the list for any visit to the area!

Went with family for a birthday celebration, I ordered etouffee and fried fish...excellent, just needed a little seasoning. My husband ordered the oyster poboy and loved it, along with the coleslaw ( he thought it was too sweet, but my son and I loved it), my daughter in law ordered the seafood salad with ranch and it was awesome, my neice ordered the gumbo, but said it needed seasoning also. My son(birthday guy) ordered the stuffed crab, a side of etouffee, and a side of red beans n rice, said all was great. I tried his stuffed crab and it was 100x better than store bought or other restaurants, could see the chunks of crab. Great flavor. Our server was over the top efficient and accommodating. Before I forget, it all started with boiled red potatoes and butter, delicious and 1/2 dozen BBQ oysters and 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters. Liked the garlic butter ones best.

I wanted to celebrate my accomplishment of "Community Manager of the Year"! So I took a 78 mile drive to do so. Bryson, my server had a great personality, he was friendly, helpful and definitely a people person! Oh did I say my grandson's name is Bryson too!! The food was yummy and I was really surprised how good the carrot souffle was.🙂

The bbq shrimp, was highly recommended but did not hit the mark. The actual shrimp were good, fresh. The bbq sauce was like homemade, too greasy and no favor. The crab and corn bisque was the star of he show. Lots of crab meat inside. The oysters were slightly burned and some type of grit or grain was on the edges of the oysters. Ok taste with the oysters, but I’ve had better.

Took a little mini trip this past weekend. Was looking for a good place to have a little seafood. All I can say is “This place was DE-LIS-CIOUS!!!” More food than I could eat and everything was hot, fresh and VERY SATISFYING. We will definitely be going back when hit town again.
