Amazing pizza, slight mishap on one of them and they fixed it right away with zero issue. We ate in house, it was quite and everyone was exceptionally nice. Highly recommend for quick service and amazing food! We had a small Margherita pizza and small a artichoke and sausage. They were incredible and highly recommended

I ordered the turkey sandwich add spinach and humus. It was so good. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. It was full of meat and veggies and just the right amount of humus. The total was 15.85 but it was work every bit. The sandwich was about a foot long and about 6.5 inches thick. I ordered togo over the phone but it can also be place online. If you order online, there is a .99 service fee if you want fast service, if not, its free. I highly recommend this place.

I had such a delicious and filling meal. The restaurant was very empty. The word is their business is mostly via delivery. I think the maximum number of people inside was 9. The owner was our waiter. They have unsweetened tea and canned sodas. Alcohol is BYOB. I ordered Chicken Parmesan. It was served steaming hot. Chicken was 3 fried tenders. Pasta was fettuccine noodles. Sauce was a red pomodoro. Meal came with a large bowl of Caesar salad and cheesy bread. I will definitely return.

Very good authentic recipe pizza and open late even on a Monday so that was nice. I went in to pick it up but had trouble finding it because I was walking. Had to call them and the staff member was friendly and helpful.

Walked from the hotel but they were only doing carry out while new staff were trained. Still, very polite and professional. Ordered a large pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and spaghetti with meatballs. VERY tasty and not crazy priced. Highly recommend.

Lovely food and great service! Bolognese, Shrimp Scampi, and cheesy bread were super yummy. If I could give more than 5 stars on service I would. Ordered through delivery via Uber and they screwed up. Restaurant arranged for delivery after they closed and were super accommodating!

Covid-time, Year Two+ review: They don't use uber/ddash/etc. The same three guys has delivered my order. And the tips-to-the-driver money does indeed go straight to the driver, not some millionaire living in NYC or Malibu. Thin crust is a delightful option. Fresh Ingredients, great at taking our telephone orders, fast, friendly, delicious. I'm not going to say this has TheBest tira misu in New Orleans but it is the best I've had here (Local since 2011, I remember them at the weird corner-space closer to the river.) Fav? Vegetarian, add C.bacon & pineapple.

I came in for dinner last Friday and had a great experience! The place was pretty busy and the staff was very attentive and energetic. I was greeted right away by the manager then proceeded to order a salad and pizza. My food came out quickly and the pizza was piping hot and absolutely delicious – a crispy crust with fresh toppings. Overall, I enjoyed a flavorful dinner for a great price in a friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

Cafe Roma is an excellent pizza joint. Less the bagged or boxed meatballs. The pizza here is wonderful, so are the side items such as fries and salads. They appear short staffed and has some service issues from my latest experiences with them. Their website says they open at 10 am, but upon arrival to pick up an online order via their site at close to 11, I was told by gentleman who appears to be the manager that they don't open until 11. I was patient, but reminded him of what their website says. As I type this, Cafe Roma's site still says opens at 10 am. It was my second time interacting with the gentleman, during a previous dine-in experience with something I did not order. But, the food excellent, the dining room is cozy and clean, and he isn't rude, just busy. One can tell. I am on the fence about returning right now and can't say I do or do not recommend due it due to the mixups. We will see in the future.

Their food is always good so I won’t say there’s a huge reason to avoid this place. However, their employees are weirdos, excluding their chef and the young ladies who host. On one occasion my friend and I ordered food to go. We noticed that once my friend came back to the car with our food, a kind of heavy set man was watching us by the front door (the windows of the restaurant are tinted so I’m assuming he thought we wouldn’t notice). This continued for about 5 minutes and became creepy. So I leaned toward the dashboard in order to make it obvious that he we could see him. Instead of stopping, he relocated to the back section of the restaurant where their are blinds but being that the blinds weren’t completely closed he was still completely visible and continued staring at us through the window as if he didn’t have any work to do. Which was even more creepy because how important was it for you to stare at us that you literally got caught & decided to relocate instead of just stopping. Not to mention the lack of personality everyone has anytime you ever go in (the personality from the staff is literally non existent) to say that they’re located in the heart of New Orleans. Again, the employees are weirdos. I’m starting to see why majority of their orders, before and during this pandemic, are take out instead of dine in. Other than that the food is always consistent so I can’t really say don’t visit.

My boyfriend and I came in for a date last night and everything was amazing! Everything was spotless, the service was wonderful, the portion sizes are outstanding for the price, and there's an open kitchen. Everything we had tasted fresh and super flavorful, the presentation of the meal reminded me of a fine dining experience. The whole dinner exceeded my expectations, and they're not lying when they say they have gourmet pizza!

I used to order from Cafe Roma almost twice a week for the better part of a year. They listened to my requests to cook the pizza extra well done as I like crispy crispy crusts. I also loved the quality of ingredients. Within the last few months, quality had gone completely down hill. The pizzas keep arriving half cooked, like they aren't rotating the pizza while cooking so only oneside is done. The crust also tastes different. Like maybe they started using cheaper ingredients. This makes me so sad because I truly loved this place.

The food here is awesome. Some of the best tasting pizza and the sandwiches were so big and flavorful. It was our last night in town and we didn't feel like going out so late and found a Roma menu slipped under our hotel room door. It couldn't have been at at better time. We went online and sent them an order. They delivered in less than 45 minutes and everything was still very hot. We will definitely visit this establishment next time we're in town. Great job!

Is this real? This restaurant was way better than we expected. The food is generous portioned hot food hot cold is cold server super friendly and even rest of staff ( cooks and I assume female owner ) all smiles. Now more into detail about the food : We had turkey subs mozzarella sticks fries and feta spinach corners which came with a yummy marinara sauce (caution addictive) . We where puzzled because it was empty at 8:30pm on a Saturday. The enterrior / decor is nice / casual and clean. We did notice there been a lot of online orders ( cooks been cranking in the kitchen) but one would miss out on the superior server tonight and all the smiles that go along and around the staff. Prices are super fair. We were actually shocked that we only spent 45 for all this great food including drinks. Keep it up We will be back! and TripAdvisor will get a review from me for Cafe Rome as secret spot “ must eat” for my German folk who come to visit New Orleans. Thanks for great food and superior service.

Ordered delivery to our hotel and got it in 25 min! The delivery driver was nice. We ordered their margarheta pizza, mozzarella sticks, and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious! 😊 We ordered this after a bad dinner experience somewhere else. And was so excited to get something delicious! 😁

I just wanted to say, excellent customer service from the downtown location! I had an issue with the Postmates delivery service not dropping off my pizza but saying through it's app it was delivered. I couldn't leave work this day to pick it up, so I had ordered through Postmates. When I contacted Cafe Roma directly, they empathized and made it right, and delivered a very freshly made pizza in no time with one of their own workers, even though they use outside services for delivery. They went above and beyond to resolve a customer issue that really wasn't their fault. The pizza was DELICIOUS, and I have told my whole staff here at work that this is the pizza place to order from now moving forward. Thank you, Cafe Roma. Good business always gets rewarded.

I live a few blocks away and finally got a pizza, wings, and a salad on the night of 3/30. I should have ordered here sooner. The wings were nice and tender. The pizza was/is some of the best in the city. I will definitely order from here more often

We usually order delivery at least once a week. I love the chicken tenders because the are perfectly seasoned and cooked, crunchy on the outside moist and tender on the inside. The last 3 times I have ordered this has been bad. Once the meat was not completely done then the last 2 times it was over cooked. The crust was scorched and the meat dry. Has there been a change at this restaurant?

The portions are great for the price and the food is tasty but the service is nothing special. Our server may have been relatively new and possibly nervous but she was not very friendly. I would probably recommend take out or pick up: same portion sizes and great value but no table service.

Visiting New Orleans over night before a cruse. We Ordered salads for my wife and I and the salads came fairly quick but they didn’t sent the correct dressing or any utensils. How do they expect anybody to eat a salad without utensils. Update—-///—- As owner responded about an hour and and a half after we receive the food he did send the Utensils and a piece of cake the cake was extremely good thank you

The food was good, and our waitress handled our table well, but we will not likely visit this restaurant again. We visited this location on a Thursday evening. When we sat down, there was only one waitress to be seen, juggling about five other tables besides our own. This of course meant service was a bit slow at first until help arrived, but she did a very good job, given the circumstance. The atmosphere was pleasant; the walls were lined with old photos of New Orleans. The service counter/bar's decor and lighting gave the large room a sort of modern, romantic touch. The music playing was generally cheery and somewhat relaxing, and television in the corner was, thankfully, muted with captions. The menu had a decent selection; we ordered the Hummus, Meatball Sandwich, and Margherita Pizza. The Hummus portion was very large, served with bread wedges, and surrounded with onions, tomatoes, black olives, and sliced cucumbers. The Meatball Sandwich was served with sliced meatballs on a crispy bread, with a fair amount of mozzarella. The pizza was thin, with a semi-hard dark brown outer crust, and crispy-soft cheese. The toppings consisted of diced tomatoes, and small pieces of fresh basil that were smartly placed UNDER the layer of cheese. The food was good, but was somewhat lacking in flavor and quality. The hummus was a bit bland; though this may be because it was served chilled, otherwise it may have needed a tad more garlic or tahini. Both the sandwich pizza the were prepared well, and were decent texture-wise, but overall they were just "okay". To compare this venue experience with other restaurants: Cafe' Roma is better than any fast food pizza restaurant, but not as good as most other similar restaurants in it's price range.

We descended on Café Roma after a concert at the Marigny Opera House- there was 26 in our group! The waiter arranged tables to seat us all, brought waters and drinks, and when the last person arrived we ordered for everyone! They set up a pizza buffet at a nearby table, and the waiter even gave us directions to a place to buy wine nearby! We had salads, 4 different pizzas, drinks and wine, and the waiters were great, and everything delicious! What a nice place to celebrate and chat on a Sunday night.

All my deliveries have arrived in 45 minutes or less, during lunch hour downtown. Not bad at all. I tried several pastas and sandwiches, and my favorites were the Chicken Caesar Sandwich and the Grilled chicken pasta with Artichoke and chicken.

The spaghetti and meatballs are the absolutely amazing! The marinara sauce has a little Cajun kick to it which really adds to the flavor and the experience. If you like places off the 'beaten path' this is one Italian restaurant to check out.

This is an amazing pizza place. There’s plenty of seating, spread far apart, high ceilings and lots of natural light. All this is a rarity in New Orleans. The staff are very friendly, and willingly served a loud and chaotic group. We ordered three medium pizzas, combo, veggie, and spinach. All three were great, cooked to perfection, piping hot, and the right thinness of crust.
