Reviews of Café Fleur De Lis

Oh hell yeah. Folks, this is a MUST place to go for breakfast. Day one I had the shrimp and grits that I read about and it didn't disappoint. The grits was nice and creamy and the shrimp was nicely seasoned. Day two I had the big easy breakfast with grits, eggs, sausage and bacon, wheat toast and pancakes. It was sooo good. Both food choices will keep you filled until early dinner. The staff is very polite and professional. Shout out to Tina and Nancy.

Great food! Definitely worth the wait! The staff is nice and the service is good. The other day the wait staff seemed a little short so they weren’t as attentive as usual but still good service. Highly recommend! Haven’t had a bad meal yet. Shrimp and grits, amazing! The slab bacon, yummy!

Have you ever found that cozy little neighborhood cafe just down the street, where the personable staff remain the same, the environment feels like home and the food is great? This is Cafe Fleur De Lis....
Situated on a quiet street, surrounded by both business and residential, this gem opens early and if your smart you would get there early. If you get there later in the morning, plan on a wait. Remember this is New Orleans and the streets do entertain, so take it all in out there.
A typical cafe where the plates are clinking, and the coffee is constantly brewing, there is a lot of energy here. Whether you end up on the first or second floor, the staff are consistently great and have you covered. Each day we ate here, our server remained the same so cheers to that, she was great, she had everything covered and remembered us each time we showed up.
The humble menu offers a wonderful variety, and being each entree is unique to the cafe, I didn't hesitate to explore. Isn't it human nature to always find a favorite? It certainly is for me, and my favorite was the eggs Benedict. The homemade biscuit in place of that typical spongy and tough English muffin that usually requires a steak knife to cut through, made my day and complimented the overall consistency of the entree perfectly.
Where I come from coffee is the beginning of the day and a precursor to breakfast. Unlike the burnt bean flavor coffee you typically get at Starbucks, theirs has a smooth presentation and finish, add the real cream, or better yet, make it an Irish coffee!
Seriously! The food is great, the people are wonderful, and the price is more than reasonable, what more is there?
Cheers!

The best breakfast/brunch in the French quarter!! I didn't try other places, as I ate here 3 out of the 3 mornings of my trip!! Amazing eggs Benedict! Amazing seafood Benedict! Excellent sweet & soft with the lightest crunch pancakes! An incredible bacon bloody Mary with the perfect amount of spice and a generous amount of the good stuff! Everything was beautiful and had amazing flavor! Friendly staff, clean cute place. Try whatever you want because you won't be disappointed! Wake up early and get a spot! You may have to wait in line. Check covid rules, as we had to show vaccine cards and wear masks while interacting with staff.

Ducked in on a rainy day right before they closed (2:30) service was fast and awesome. We were shocked how fast food came out.
Kids got the southern breakfast (biscuits & gravy) and big easy breakfast (grits & toast) I got the shrimp Po boy all was amazing.
My son isn't a picky eater but he doesn't love a lot of Nola food this place had a great balance of traditional diner far and stuff with that southern Nola vibe that parents and older siblings can appreciate.
Ashley McWilliams
The little bit of wait we had was worth it! The food was plenty and delicious!! My husband got shrimp and grits w/ a side off eggs and it was a whole plate of eggs. I got the biscuits & gravy thinking it was 1 on the small plate menu but it was 2 and a order of hash browns which was also a plate! The food was so good and if you leave hungry it’s your own fault!

Y'all....this place was amazing! We had breakfast here on our last day in NOLA, and it was some of the best food I've ever eaten! There was a line and a wait, but worth it! Now I love me some grits, but THESE grits were out of this world! I should've got a side to-go to eat later, they were that good. We all ordered the Big Easy Breakfast. Huge plate of food. The pancakes are perfection. The food was fast. Came out hot. Our waitress was amazing. I can't wait to go back to NOLA because we will definitely be eating here.
Jordan Blackwill
The perfect breakfast experience in New Orleans. It came recommended by my friend I was traveling with. And it did not disappoint! Everything tasted amazing in the service was very friendly. They were very accommodating to make sure we were comfortable in this quaint little restaurant. However, it's also home to my absolute favorite dish I had in New Orleans. The seafood eggs benedict. There's absolutely nothing you could do to improve it. It is also home to my favorite side dish, THE GRITS! I would be lying if I said that. I haven't thought about those grits several times since our trip to New Orleans. If there was some way to ship them all the way to where I live, I would pay any price.

Words cannot describe how much myself and my party of 3 enjoyed Cafe Fleur De Lis! We came two mornings in a row for the breakfast which was excellent! The grits are to die for! So buttery and delicious! Not to mention the pancakes and sausage, perfect portions and flavor! Our waitress Mary was such a delight, she checked on us regularly, was timely with drinks and our check!
Diana Lehotsky
An absolutely delicious, wonderful place for breakfast! Our server told us about the Boudin Sausage omelette and it's the best omelette I've ever had! The sausage has pork and rice with a good spice to it. The king cake is also freshly made and the bread here didn't even need butter! It was that good. Go eat breakfast here!
Jules
The host was sweet and we were placed within 5 minutes of arriving. The food was good — pancakes were fluffy and a great taste. Got seriously southern breakfast & big easy breakfast.
The reason why I docked two stars was because the coffee came to our table with purple lipstick stain on the cup. Waitress just picked it up and walked away. No apologies — nothing. Came back with new coffee nearly 5-10 mins later. Brought food to the table, only to never come back and show customer service. Just to bring the check.
Needless to say — food; yes. Service; don’t expect them to come and see if your food or anything else was okay.

WWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW cannot say enough good about this place just wow!!! This was our breakfast stop on our last day here….will definitely be the first stop next time we come. I had the oysters Benedict, wife had the crab shrimp omelette and our son had French toast….all of it was over the top amazing! I highly believe in reviews and this to us was a solid 5-star! My Benedict’s were perfect. The creamer spinach along with hash browns & hollandaise sauce with the oysters was a beautiful combo!! Same for her omelette!! Our sons French toast was “the best he’s ever had” and after I took a bite, agreed with him! We don’t have food this good in our Texas area…can’t wait to come back just to come here!!!
Lindsay Marie
This is a cute little diner. Our experience here was great. We had the fried green tomatoes and boudin sausage, I had the breakfast sandwich, and my husband had a. Shrimp and crawfish Omelet. This is a must try if you're in the area.
Chelsey Liddell
Absolutely delicious! You know you ordered the right thing when the server shows excitement when you put your request in! Seafood Benedict was perfect and let’s not forget the French toast which is a French toasted biscuit. Wowwww so good. Exceeded expectations! Service was great as well. We were a little late returning to our table call, but they still had our table ready and waiting.
Altinay Cortes
Delicious food and wonderful service. I really enjoyed the banana pancakes with candied bacon. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star rating is that their hot drink machine wasn't working so we couldn't get cappuccino.
St Aubyn King
Went here for breakfast and the food was so good, even better was our server Tina who was awesome. She suggested to try the grits and shrimp and it was the best. I will certainly will be back the next time in New Orleans.
scott meek
Got in quickly around 8:30am - earlier is always better. Sat upstairs in the back, but there is some limited balcony seating. Lots of food and coffee choices, but I went with a pretty standard breakfast. Everything was delicious. Wait staff were courteous and solid. Definitely a good choice.
Boop M
This place is AMAZING!! The staff is super nice and checks on you at just the right times. Of course, you still need a vaccination card or proof of a negative test (like everywhere else). I got the mocha and it is absolutely delicious! This has to be the best coffee I've ever had! I'm not a big breakfast person so I was hesitant to buy any food but the sweet cream pancakes with chocolate chips was so good! If I ever come back to New Orleans, I'm coming back here
Christina Bakle
Wonderful local restaurant. Shrimp and grits was great. Not salty like I had at other restaurants. Pancakes are fluffy. Wait staff attentive and very nice 👍. The burbon breakfast is the best
Q Scarlet
It's to be expected, but we did have to wait a bit. Luckily there are plenty of shops within walking distance to keep one entertained. The servers are so sweet and the food is delectable! Yummy menu choices and great service!
Ron Koch
I love this place! Best breakfast menu around, great servers! Just the place to go after a night on the town, if for the Bacon Bloody Mary alone. The seafood benedict was fantastic. My second time here, and will always go back!
Dee K
Really fresh ingredients and delicious veggie omelette. The most buttery & cheesiest grits, great flavor. Nice fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon & even the wheat toast is worth mentioning! Our server, Adena, was very attentive and sweet! Awesome breakfast with lots of options- we will be back!
lemonsours1
We were looking for something a little different than the standard breakfast fare, and we found it! Absolutely delicious! Food and coffee were amazing. Service was great, but they are very busy and it took some time, so plan ahead! Don't miss out just because you are impatient! 🤣
Maria Badra
The typical food of the city is very delicious. You must wait 15 minutes for the table. It's worth the wait. The only thing I didn't like is that the cooks don't wear gloves.
Thomas X
In the week I was here I ate here twice with friends and the shrimp and grits I still think of. When we got here it was way crowded but, they had some room upstairs. Everyone in the group liked their meals.
Christopher Smith
Great food! Server was engaging even though she stated that she only worked in the area and she was not knowledgeable about the area. Helpful with suggesting some great dishes. Everything was delicious. Shrimp ad grits was creamy and flavorful and the caveat was there was no pork in their shrimp and grits. (BTW the waitress suggested this dish but I don’t even eat grits; it’s the texture and flavor for me). These grits smooth and creamy in texture and the gravy was very flavorful. Fresh shrimp. Omelette I think it was a crab or seafood omelette that my spouse had really tasty. Avocado plate clean dressing great if you are on a gluten free, keto or a paleo diet. The chai lattes both hot and cold had perfect flavor !
Dellaluna Glass
I feel like it was everything we could have hoped for, the customer service was so good- we brought the dog and they got her a little water bowl and brought her a couple stripes of bacon. The balcony is small but it still feels spacious when you're out there. Really lovely
Keren Gomez
Our server Nancy helped us pick our breakfast and explained the best way to enjoy our Bourbon Street breakfast! FYI sipping the shot of Kentucky bourbon in between bites is recommended for such a sweet meal of Banana pecan cakes, candied bacon, maple syrup, melted butter. That was after I had the absolutely delicious Seafood Benedict with Crab & crawfish cakes, poached eggs, biscuit, spicy hollandaise, & decadent cheesy grits!! I’m so picky about grits but I am so glad I tried these! He got the Boudin Omelet. With locally made smoked boudin sausage, grilled onion, pepper jack, hashbrowns & wheat toast. We will definitely be back!
Nette Rab
Great find. Nice size restaurant with a 2nd floor dining. Wait, it was about 15 minutes.
Food:
French Toast
Candied Bacon
Washed down with a glass of Peach Bellini.
The French Toast was delcious, and the candied bacon was good. It's a bit different from other candied bacon I've had. The ones I've had were always dry with the sugar sweet flavor, but this one was a bit liquidy and sticky.
Overall, the service was good, and the food was delcious.
Mark Gibson
Short wait list but worth every minute.
Their Southern Grits we’re the best I’ve had!
Everything cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff.
Nick Pecora
Excellent breakfast spot walking distance from most anywhere in the quarter. I had the boudin omelette and the flavors were incredible. Our waiter was a really cool dude who took great care of us. We’ll be back!
Chelsea Lawson
Staff was friendly and welcoming! This looks like a great breakfast spot. The waiters were very busy and there was a wait.
I came for the beignets and got take out.
I had cafe du monde last time, so I wanted to try these.
They’re very different, and much more flaky like a true French pastry. However, they lack in the powdered sugar department (reason for one missing star)
Vivianna Gomez Crowe
Absolutely splendid! Amazing breakfast, and coffees!! We had the mocha and the vanilla latte, delicious! The mocha had spectacular homemade whipped cream! The Crab Catch Omelette was delightful and the eggs Benedict Florentine was AMAZING!!! Both had creamed spinach AND IT WAS PHENOMENAL! MUST GET ANYTHING WITH CREAMED SPINACH!!! 100% must try this restaurant.
Dennis Frye
We stopped here based on the reviews. Was not disappointed. Food was delicious, great variety and good prices. The table next to us had some issues with their food so I can't say this place is perfect but we personally had no problems. Came for breakfast on our last day in town.
Elyse Goodwin
The shrimp and grits were amazing! Friendly staff and great service. It was worth every second of the wait time. Fried green tomatoes were yummy too!!
Gustavo Torres
Great breakfast joint. Awesome service and an interesting menu. Very cozy but they make it work. Highly recommend the fried oyster eggs Benny
Becky Clark
For the most part, a wonderful breakfast! Service was fast, coffee was hot, and I loved the NOLA twist on traditional breakfast favorites. I had the etouffee omelet. It tasted amazing, but it was slightly cold. The portion size was perfect for the price.
Sadly, their pancakes left the table disappointed. They tasted like beignet mix that was made into pancakes. They were not fluffy. Our party could not finish them. I would come back and try everything else on the menu other than the pancakes.
Terri Lacombe
Amazing! Nice host for to go order. Came up fast. Usually have a line out but I went really early.
All good hot & of good quality. I was worried I wouldn’t like the grits bc of the watery look but glad I tried it was AMAZING! Everything has a different breakfast taste but familiar. A distinct restaurant taste if that makes sense. Which is good bc it now seperate this breakfast from how others taste.
Rebecca Steiner
Convenient location/in walking distance from many hotels. No parking. I did not have a reservation, on a weekday morning I waited about 20 mins for a table. After being seated and ordering, the waitress in upstairs area was annoyed when we ordered a latte because it meant an extra trip downstairs for the wait staff. The shrimp and grits were pretty good. My friend got the seafood benedict. The portion sizes were large and prices were a good value. The coffee was average/fine. If in the area, I might come back, I might not.
MedCity Mami
By far the best breakfast i’ve ever had! Amazing service, it does fill up very quickly, i came in around 8:30AM and by 9 it was pretty much full. the staff was amazing, my waitress was so kind and everyone else was really nice, food was amazing 11/10 recommended
Carolyn Lazarde
We had the pleasure of having breakfast twice there on our stay and both times were excellent. I had the oyster Benedict and it was mind-blowing. Order it immediately. Their grits were the best I’ve ever had, truly. Excellent service and fast!
Ernst Fantaisy
Good breakfast and short wait. The shrimp and grits, avocado omelet and seriously southern breakfast were good. This place delivers on your breakfast needs.
Sarah S
The staffs were nice, there waitlist system is nice. Once you give them your number and name, you don't have to stick around. You can look around little shop around there and they will text you when they are ready.
Food was good. I had crab omelet and pancakes. Crab omelet comes with spinach cream. It was good but it became a bit heavy for breakfast/brunch.
K J
Took my mom and my daughter to breakfast there. Friendly staff, convenient location...highly recommend trying the Seafood Benedict as it was absolutely delicious. Look forward to dropping in again next time I visit New Orleans.
Kitty Manson
The food here was so good. It's definitely a place you should go to when visiting New Orleans. Shrimp and grits were perfect with the Bourbon breakfast. Nice kick with a shot. Oh, and the fried tomatoes, never had before but definitely would have again. And Nancy was super sweet and gave amazing service.
Lari S
We loved the breakfast! And the benya was super delicious!
If I ever go back to New Orleans I would definitely go back to that place! 😻
Tj B
We had to wait for about an hour to get in for brunch on a Saturday (quite understandable bc it was like that everywhere).
I got the seafood benedict and my bf got the shrimp & grits. Both were scrumptious!
Debra Scott
Eggs benedict lives up to the hype. The bisquit base, tender and flavorful. The canadian bacon is thin sliced rather than a thick slab. The eggs were perfectly done. Don't sleep on the hashbrowns either...rarely a breakfast highlight these were the perfect blend of of crispy and fluffy, excellent seasoning. Hubby had the crab and shrimp omlette which was also excellent. Service was attentive and friendly, the food was on the slower side coming. Doesn't matter, worth the wait.
R G
Show up by 8am and the wait shouldn't be long.
The food was great.
Good amount of food for a great price.
Definitely would recommend this place.
Khepera 1986
I'm late but, THIS RESTAURANT IS WORTH THE POST...Very very good food, and customer service is even better. Before leaving for our plane, we stopped here again. Shrimp and grits are AMAZING...Fried green tomatoes are even better. There will be a wait depending on what time you go. But it's really worth it. Definitely coming back soon.
Jarrett Allman
Absolutely recommend for a good brunch. They were quite busy on the Friday morning we went, but we got in quickly. Service was great, food was fantastic. The grits are otherworldly. You won’t be disappointed.
Kristin Wardlow
Breakfast was not great. The pancakes were extremely sweet and the gravy had a very bland flour taste. Felt a little dirty in there. Not worth a 30 minute wait at all. 3 stars for a friendly hostess and an efficient waiter.
Matt Haley
Visited here on our first morning and the food was amazing. Ended up having grits at two other places and nowhere came close to the amazing grits here. We will be back!
Rick and Dani Gramza
Such a great stop for breakfast! Our good friend @gjaysisson suggested stopping while we were in Naw’leans and it’s was amazing. Staff was friendly, sit was short, and food was amazing!
Daniel L
Must stop if you want amazing food and outstanding service. Our server Tiffany was definitely hustling with two big groups and serving my wife and I. Will definitely return.
Savitri Balram
Cozy breakfast place in the heart of the French Quarter. Attentive service with food eats! Would definitely recommend.
Malco Manansala
Sat on the second floor for breakfast. Ordered the fleur de lis omelette, biscuits and gravy, and 2 seafood benedicts. All were really good and we had more then enough food. Very thankful for the kind service as well from our Filipina waitress.
Domingo M Lopez
Healthy and accommodating. I ordered the egg white avacado omelet with veggies. Great service, staff help eachother to provide you a great experience, also beautiful view.
Tiffney Irizarry
Such a great breakfast! My poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the fried oysters were delightful.
Renée Myrie
Café Fleur De Lis in New Orleans was simply amazing! Best grits I’ve ever had (very creamy), their seafood omelette was made to perfection, the Mimosa’s were amazing & the Étouffée was delicious!!!! They had someone making the Mimosa’s downstairs while you wait for your table. Passionfruit & Mango Mimosa’s were both really good! We had a 45 minute wait before being seated upstairs & the customer service was very attentive. The food was divine!!! Please try this restaurant for Brunch.
Evangelos Pitsadiotis
A bit of a wait, but well worth it. The food is superb. Try the shrimp and grits, you won't be disappointed
Eduardo Duarte
Short wait times, delicious food and the service was attentive and awesome! Definitely recommend it if you are craving home-style orleans food!
Arnitia Goodman
I ordered the biscuits and gravy as an appetizer and the seafood Benedict. The biscuits and gravy were ok. The gravy was a cream base without any sausage. Would only commend for vegetarians. The seafood Benedict was super yummy. Would highly recommend for seafood lovers.
Danielle Braun
Mimosas and eggs Benedict. Both were delicious and this place had a much shorter wait time than some of the others in the area.
benjamin lin
Very busy and for good reason!
Right across from the W Hotel, with some interesting NOLA twists on traditional pancakes, omelettes, and eggs Benedict. Also some standard delta faire for lunch including po’ boys, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp’n’grits. We had the crab & shrimp omelette and the salmon eggs Benedict. So good! Fantastic service. Ask for the upstairs balcony seating for an entertaining people watching perch. Highly recommended- they gots it goin’ on fo’ sure!
Leo Phillip Ferreira
Absolutely delicious! Hit the spot. We have the Avocado Omelette and Boudin Omelette. Service was friendly and a great location in the French Quarter.
Nashaunda Wiley
The shrimp were superb. The burger, was also delicious. I purchased two mimosas and they were strong. (That’s a good thing) The French toast and eggs were also good. I will be returning tomorrow to try the benedicts.
Scott Nichols
The place was very busy. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated upstairs. Some areas were hit directly with sunlight at the time we were there (10:30am) making things a bit squinty. The food was amazing. I had the French toast, which were sliced biscuits with honey and powdered sugar. I really enjoyed them, along with the grapes and pineapple that accompanied them. My brother and niece ordered other things and they were very happy with their meals. I tried the spinach sauce on top of my niece's omelette and wow that was good!
Dan Anthony
Really loved having brunch here in one of their balcony overlooking Jackson Square. The food was amazing, particularly the Shrimp and Grits which I highly recommend and it's a must if you visit. They also offer a pitcher of Mimosas that goes for about $12. We had 3 in our group of 6 and were really happy after this. The service was fair as our server was taking a bit too long in between visits, but other than that, a superb experience.
Amaris Mohammed
The Seafood Benedict was flavorful. The restaurant was not busy but we felt a bit rushed. Overall, yummy and thank you for your service, Skylar.
A Martinez
Breakfast and service was great. I never had grits before and I really enjoyed them. Will be back when visiting.
Jamie Attar
So glad we found this place after having sub par breakfasts! Highly recommend- awesome service, great food, huge portions.
Will be back.
Sercan Şengün
Stopped here for breakfast. The omelettes we're good and the atmosphere was very nice. The prices are also great for the neighborhood.
Audrey Russelman
When I think of my amazing time in New Orleans, I think of Cafe Fleur De Lis- and the Shrimp and Grits. Truly, best thing I’ve ever had and I miss it so much🥺 …
Christopher Dahman
Small little gem located in the French Quarter. We went for a late breakfast and just chose this place because it was near us and we were starving. I really liked the small restaurant atmosphere. I didn’t get names, but our service was excellent. Started with fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were sliced perfectly and fried crispy with a spicy aioli dipping sauce. So good! Eggs Benedict was delicious and so were the cheesy grits!!!
Diane Kerrigan
Great breakfast and plenty of it. We had eggs Benedict, 2 southern breakfasts, and one order of pancakes. Thick bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy on the southern plates. Everything was delicious. Small place, busy, but friendly, and worth the few minute wait to get a table. Would go back and highly recommend.
Colissa Jordan
Very good spot. Only reason not a 5 is bc of wait time. Try the grits... will change your life.
Camille Harmon
I went here on a visit with some friends, & the breakfast was spectacular! I got the Seafood Eggs Benedict, & Im still thinking about it a week later! The food was taking a little bit longer, so our waitress, who was so kind & attentive, gave us mimosas on the house, which were also delicious and had many flavors to choose from. Once the food arrived, I was satisfied & happy. I would recommend to anyone who’s staying in the French Quarter to eat here just once!
Zach P
Delicious food and exceptional service 😁 Went for breakfast and it was delicious! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area ☆☆☆☆☆ …
Robert Nichols
I had the eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon and short stack of pancakes breakfast. It was very good. Biscuits were honey biscuits, gravy had no sausage. My daughter had an omelet with crab shrimp and other stuff, but it was the spinach sauce on top that really stole the show. It was very very good. My brother had French toast. None of us left hungry. The plates were big and filling. A definite return visit is in order.
Patricia Mixson
The thickest slice of bacon I have ever had and it was so yummy! Pancakes are sweet and eggs done right. Husband had an amazing omelette. Highly recommend this place for breakfast.
MsFoxy Reds
Food was so delicious...made it sooooo worth the wait (shy of an hour). The hostess was very welcoming and apologize for the wait time before taking our names for the wait list. The service was great. Amongst our party of 4, we had the shrimp & grits, friend Green tomatoes, biscuits & pepper gravy, pecan sweet cream cakes, strawberry sweet cram cakes, crayfish omelet, and various coffees and teas. 😋😋😋😋 Will definitely visit again whenever I come back.
Andy Schornack
Great breakfast spot. Service was excellent and food was the same. The Big Easy.
Anastasia Apostolopoulos
Didn't know what to expect, just wanted to get out of my hotel and get some southern breakfast and this place did not disappoint!! Cappuccino was amazing too! The grits were amazing too, honestly everything :)
beauX tschirhart
I always return to this Café...the Bennies with biscuits are perfect and all the other nola specials stand strong...
Brent Hangartner
Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing. And of course it wouldn't be a great breakfast without a shot of bourbon to go with your pancakes...lol
Jerrod Bonacci
Great little breakfast spot with great service. Had the fried oyster Benedict which was great with the crispy oysters. French toast was good, the big easy breakfast which was great. The boudin was not bad just not my type of sausage though acquired taste I guess. Also coffee good and they will make it to go for you.
Emily McGuiness
So good I had to eat here twice during my stay. The food is amazing and the service was great. Of particular note was the biscuits and gravy and slab bacon, but it was all delicious. The cappuccino was better than most coffee shops. Highly recommend!!!
Yalanda Weaver
This became our breakfast spot. Wonderful food and kind staff! Loved it❤😋 …
Otrice Ellis Gibson
The food was delicious. The best grits that I've ever had. Service was good. Our waitress was nice. We went two times and she remembered us from the first day. I definitely recommend.
Baby P
Best breakfast place n the area. LOVED the mimosas, LOVED the grits, loved everything. Service was great and the wait time considering Mardi Gras time was very short! I cant wait to return!!
Dorothy Reviss
Super delicious food, amazing staff, felt well taken care off. Must visit if you’re in NoLa. THE BEST GRITS EVER MUST TRY
Aimee Lawson
Cute little cafe with delicious breakfast. The portions are so big I couldn't eat it all. I had the big easy breakfast which included eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, toast and pancakes! So good! We went at 8:15 on a Saturday morning and got seated right away.
Roy Schwartzman
Had little time for lunch between conference sessions at a nearby hotel. Stopped in around 30 minutes before they closed at 1PM. Service was swift. Server recommended the shrimp & crawfish eggs benedict. It was perfectly prepared, served atop a biscuit instead of an English muffin. Hash browns had a nice light crunch without being overcooked. Overall an ideal place for quick brunch or lunch on the run.
John F.
Stopped by today for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Had the shrimp and grits which was fantastic and the short stack was amazing as well.
The staff was super nice, and the wait was not bad at all considering all the little shops around to kill time at.
Erica Velez
We ordered egg Benedict florentine it came with gritty first time having grits and it was very good we also ordered the bigger breakfast which was good and our food came out pretty fast. The service was good and our server Charmaine was very attentive and friendly.
Jim Riley
Food was delicious. Service was great. Our server, I think her name is Amy she was awesome. The other staff was friendly & polite. Really nice atmosphere. Felt welcome, left happy.
María José de la Peña Sánchez
Great place to have breakfast!
I got the bourbon breakfast and the pancakes were just amazing
Chris Motes
Amazing service! Best breakfast we had all trip!
Kysaundra Phillips
Great spot for breakfast and brunch in the French Quarter! I got there around 9:15 and didn’t have to wait long. I got the seafood Benedict and a mimosa. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the wait staff was extremely pleasant. I also asked for recommendations on what to do in the city and the waitress gave lots of suggestions!
Bobbi Otis
If you don’t get the shrimp and grits you will regret it. Best I’ve ever had.
Carolina Castillo
The wait was pretty normal 15 min to get a table!!! The food was pretty good specially the grits!! To my husband the best!! The only thing l want to mention is the personal hygiene of our server it wasn't the best..the nails were pretty dirty..probably to other people this is ok but personal presentation is important too..
Micheline Milligan
We sat on the second floor dining area. It was clean well lit, the ambient temperature was perfect, waiter was very friendly and the food was very rich, but delicious!
Viktoriia Kostiuk
AMAZING!
Four days in city and had our breakfast 3 times there! Great customer service and quality of food. Everything was delicious and tasty.
Good choices of breakfast. Nice seating are, including acces to the balcony.
The only concern is a waiting time. During weekend they are too busy so be prepared to wait a while, but in the end it will worth it!
My biggest recommendations to visit this place for your food experience 😋
Natalie Garr
Not bad! Service was meh but the food was great! Cocktails were nice and strong! The bourbon breakfast was amazing. The banana pancakes were so flavorful I wish we had more! Fleur de lis omelette was alright. It was extremely fishy tasting a little more so than I expected.
Briana Lund
Came here for our first NOLA breakfast with the in-laws and 19 month old son. Food was amazing and they were SO great with my 19 month old! Had a special toddler pancake, apple juice, and were just so friendly towards him. He was very entertained here which was great for us. Very kid friendly!!
C Griffin
We visited this charming little breakfast spot on 5/14. We had great service, and the food was awesome! Pancakes w/strawberries and Irish coffee and Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary.
We will definitely be back again!

We've been in Nawlins for 4 days and eaten at some of the best places up and down the Quarter, but this place, hands down, was the absolute most delicious, authentic, and the best service from Tammy that we have found. THIS is what I expected when I envisioned New Orleans food... french toast, grits, fried green tomatoes, fluffy eggs, Benedict with poached eggs done to perfection... this is what I will miss when I get back to Wisconsin. Thanks, Cafe Fleur De Lis Crew! 😘 ❤️ 🍳👩🍳 You made it worth the long trip!!
William Newsom
Chef Ben and JJ are the best. Thoroughly enjoyed the food so much we ate there 4 times in the week we were there. Coming from chefs, both me and my wife, if you pass this place up, you are crazy. Everything is amazing
Sandra Penke
We ate two breakfasts at Cafe Fleir De Lis while in New Orleans. Food and service were great. Had the shrimp and grits. Their sweet pancakes are moist and delicious. My daughter had the eggs Benedict also a good choice.
Tyler Jordan-Taylor
Cutest little cafe with amazing food. Had an iced mocha with the “Seriously Southern Breakfast” which is 2 eggs, a thick piece of bacon, biscuits and gravy, and a short stack.” We also shared an order of French toast. All of it was made to perfection and I gobbled it all up in about 30 seconds. Generous portion size and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Highly recommend. Frankie gave us 5 star service!
Annabell Volz
We liked this place. The breakfast was good and the people are friendly. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious.
A highlight were the bubbles in front of the restaurant. I came from Germany to enjoy this.
Matt
We found this spot when the wait time for other surrounding cafe's were insane (1hr+ even with signing up for waitlists). Definitely not disappointed. Waited 10 mins with no reservation to be seated. Food was good, the hash browns were fire. Servers and staff were really nice and helpful.
Phyllis Lesar
They are very nice. We had great meals but I should have paid more attention to the menu. I ordered something that I couldn't eat. They actually took it off our bill! Awesome surprise since it was my own fault.
scott kessler
All I had was the biscuits and gravy as I wasn't very hungry. Gravy was cold and too salty for me. It had good flavor and the biscuits were nice so I wish it had been warm and less salty.
Hallie Bardsley
Joseph C is the embodiment of southern hospitality. He made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!
nphauser23
We went here for lunch and we were very happy. I had the Fried Green Tomato Poboy and it was very tasty. My wife had the Fleur de Lis omelet with grits. She loved them and gave me a taste. I really liked the grits and the omelet was great, too. Check out this place when you are in NoLa.
Devra Brusso (Lashing)
Can't say enough about this place for breakfast. It's a cute place and the food was just out of this world. Definitely a taste of NOLA. Ask the server for their recommendations. You won't regret it.
Kathy D
Delicious breakfast and great upstairs seating. Grits were some of the best I have ever had, creamy and rich. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor. Service was so great. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and just so sweet.
Rosalva Amador
If you live or are visiting New Orleans, this is the best breakfast/lunch spot. It was definitely our favorite. The location is clean. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and fun. The food is amazing! We went here most of our mornings for breakfast and every time left completely satisfied.. the shrimp and grits were my favorite. The oyster benidect yum! My boyfriend loved the seafood benedict, it was so good, he was doing a happy dance. When we return, definitely going to go eat breakfast here again!!
vincent probst
It has been several years since I last ate here and the only thing that changed were the prices which is expected. Ate breakfast again and it was the same awesome taste and quality. You won't leave here hungry.
Matt Wise
Excellent experience here. Skyler was an awesome waiter and the food was all amazing as well. Had a Mango mimosa and the big breakfast. Affordable and hospitable. Highly recommended
Jonathan Vidrine
Tiffany was our server, she was super nice and accommodating to my wife's food allergies and my hangover. The woman at the door was super entertaining and we loved visiting with her. Thanks for the service!
John Castillo
This place rocks! The breakfast was delicious and worth the Honest wait time unlike their competitor down the street something about a slipper. Who cares. This place is highly recommended. Go get you some Cafe Fluer De lis you won't be disappointed!!
Caryn Kieft
45 minute wait was WORTH IT! Best egg benedict I've ever had, and the pancakes were amazing! Will be back. NOLA charm in decore and Sam, our waitress was fun in her egg costume for Halloween. Come here when you are in New Olreans, you will not regret it.
Rich Thompson
Both plates excellent
Avocado omelet with goat cheese!?! So, good.
A big breakfast platter And there Bloody Mary is spicy but good.
I highly recommend this place!!
W Johnston
This is a hidden gem! You have to go here. Tina D. is amazing and so fun to talk to. The crab, crawfish cake benedict was amazing, and the Crab or Seafood omelet did not disappoint either. My cappucino was delicious both days. Make sure you get the cheese grits!!! They will change your life, lol!
Sylvain Francois
Great place for a brunch. Lots of sweet and savory options, including creole ones, and pleasantly surprised with the quality, especially for the price. Great service.
steve oker
A definite must if you’re looking for an outstanding meal. Drinks were on point too. Service was exceptional. Shrimp and grits was 🤌🏻 …
Ai W
Second time here for bf. Today I had Avocado omelet. It was good but only one tiny bitty piece of Avocado on top of the omelet 😂 not sure I would call that Avocado omelet....veggie om is$12, so $2 extra for that tiny Avocado....? Not happy about that. I wish I ordered crab catch omelet instead since its same price...
I came here because I was craving for good crispy hashbrowns, it's really good but portion is pretty small.. I could have little more. $20 omlet with coffee without tip.
Alan Jacobs
There's only one problem with this place they never ever answer the phone when I was there on this past visit , I walked all the way over there from Harris to have breakfast because I love that place, but it was 10 minutes before they closed and they wouldn't let us in that was not a good thing to do I'm very Disappointed about that.
Earlier in the week it was fine but this is unacceptable when they have posted hours.
this should be addressed immediately!!!
kl Jones
My first experience was worthy of a strong 4 stars. I got in early enough to be seated immediately. My waiter was cool, helpful. Grits were unavailable that day so I had to go down their menu which looked pretty good. I’d say I picked well choosing the crawfish crab cake Benedict. I’ll go back just to say I had the shrimp and grits
Michael
We actually ended up here by accident. Our first couple of picks were either booked with massive waits or not open.
Anyway, this was a shorter wait and we're glad we came across it. Everyone's meals were SUPERB!
Selena Wilson
We ordered omelets and grits, enjoyed it. Service was quick and the food was good. Very quaint and a little old understandably, you may be discouraged but we enjoyed a filling and tasty breakfast.
Marissa Spraggens
This is a pet friendly location which already made it 💯. In addition their syrup is so good! The waiter was very nice and even asked if he could get my dog a bowl of water.
Nesha Taylor
This place never misses. Fresh food with great service. Diverse staff paired with positive attitudes. Reasonably priced as well.
jord'n fairchild
Omg seafood in an omelet? Who knew it would be sooo good.. this was the best breakfast I had all trip! The grits were drop dead bomb, creamy, smooth, and most definitely flavorful.. we had a dope server too.. his suggestions were very much appreciated!!
Jay Thierry
We plan on coming back. Great breakfast! Food was good, service was fast, professional and friendly. Highly recommend.
Taj Coleman
Good food and drinks. First time we came, service was great. Second time, service was so-so. Still looking forward to returning once back in New Orleans
Whitney Agrimson
Loved this place!! Food was excellent! Perfect breakfast portions that do not leave you wanting! Wait staff was super friendly!
Perks Advisor
Wow what a tasty traditional breakfast and it was huge. I ordered the Big Easy breakfast which included two eggs, pancakes, sausage, crispy hash browns, bacon and toast. The bacon was alittle uncooked for my tastes and they quickly replaced it with crisp bacon. The server was very pleasant and accommodating. You can also enjoy a New Orleans twist to the breakfast entries by including béarnaise sauce on the dishes. This is a place to satisfy your breakfast cravings, just do not count the calories.
James Ives
Breakfast spot offering a number of classics from pancakes to Benedict’s. Went here and got the Catfish Benedict and the Catfish & Grits. Everything tasted good and the service was decent. The catfish portion was a little on the small side however especially as it’s in the name of the dish.
Overall a positive experience and I’d be happy to return.
Greg Johnson
This is basically a diner in the quarter. Saved this place from my travels to check out. They have a slightly different menu from other places. At 11:00am they were still busy. Anyway breakfast was quick and smaller portion sized. I forgot to picture the chicory coffee. But this is a smaller diner that serves until 3:00pm or so. Prices not too bad
Austin Abu
We came for brunch on a Saturday morning and loved every moment. The seating was fast although the restaurant was busy. We were able to check in online which helped to save time. The atmosphere was very upbeat and there were artworks displayed on the wall reflecting New Orleans culture. We shared fried green tomatoes which were devine. We also shared the shrimp and grits which I would definitely reccomend. I truly enjoyed the food here and would come back and visit again.
Majed Alashari
Seafood Benedict is delicious. I had grits with it & it is my first time to try it & I didn’t like it match. Coffee is good & service as well. Price is little high.
William Brock
Food was excellent southern cooking. Place is cozy with the kitchen at the back of the first floor. Can get very busy and cause delays in receiving food. But worth the short wait as they make sure it is prepared well. The 1/3 bacon is awesome!
ROBERT WHITE
Wife had baked breakfast sandwich (pic) it was spectacular. I ordered "standard breakfast" (sausage, bacon, poached eggs, toast and hashbrowns). Sausage was handmade, poached eggs were perfect. Also sampled french toast which came with fruit cup and would have been great choice by itself. They put your name on a waitlist and text msg you when your table is ready so you can shop nearby in french district. Was quaint and delicious, definitely recommend!
Naomi Smith
We stumbled across this place while looking for a more substantial breakfast after splitting some beignets... We wished we had started here. Wonderful and tasty options available and open earlier in the morning. Cozy atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
LaToya Goree
Absolutely delicious. The shrimp and grits with lemon sauce are my favorite dish. Enjoy!
Kraig Caines
I really enjoyed this place. The food was banging. I got Big Easy minus the grits. The wait time was worth it. I really wanted to sit on the balcony but everyone wanted the balcony lol. I would suggest this place for breakfast. Great customer service as well.
Christopher Dere
A very nice diner. The breakfast food has the staples you expect. I like their coffee with chicory. Have not eaten lunch there. Nice atmosphere for meeting a friend. The staff is knowledgeable of the area. It is probably a five star; however, I need to try some of their lunch items.
Update: My fourth time. Six months on, I had, again, the Fleur-De-Lis burger- medium-rare with fries. One of best burgers I have had in the French Quarter area. As usually, I had my unsweetened ice tea to go.
brochas Kelley
We found this nice little breakfast spot and ate here every day of our vacation in NOLA. People are so friendly, service is great and food/portion size is amazing.
Shelley Waller
The place is simple yet charming.
Food was quick and hot. Everything was cooked as we ordered it and the staff was exceptionally friendly, giving us tips of where to visit.
The mimosas ... Started off the morning right.
They were perfectly champaign with a shot of OJ.
BTW - The name means Lily Flower in french.
Who wouldn't love to eat in a place named for a beautiful Lily?
Debisree Ray
Nice, laid back environment. Perfect for brunch. The food is good. I ordered fried oyster benedict, paired with mimosa. The oyster was good, but the benedict was not the best one. The mimosa was good, it was made fresh. But obviously not the best one. However, I liked the environment and the place. We sat upstairs. The look from the balcony is really good.
me
First off, Cameron, the host was so nice! Great face for the place.
Our server. She wasnt as welcoming. Tried to rush us to order. Then ignored us. She was fairly good when it came to refilling the coffee, but she never asked us how our food was.
Given that they were busy. I asked to sample the etouffee, and was told no. Even asked if I could just buy a cup, was informed that I would need to buy a bowl. Period. So I passed on the etouffee.
Coffee was good.
My boyfriend's plastic water cup had
lipstick still on it. Had to get a new one.
My boyfriend had the seafood benedict 16$. He said flavor was good. But, it lacked hollandaise sauce, the thing that makes the dish. You can see from the picture that he had about 1oz of sauce on each egg. When you should have at least 4oz of hollandaise sauce on eggs benedict.
I got the crab omelette, or shall I say the VEINED shrimp omelette. 13$ (POOP STILL IN THE SHRIMP) I could not find ANY crab in my omelette. Flavor was alright just tons of diced peppers and shrimp. 🤷
Smallest portion of hashbrowns I have EVER gotten at ANY breakfast joint. Look at my plate.
Fried Green Tomatoes were the best thing we got on the menu. 6$
45$ for breakfast. We left hungry and overall disappointed.
Devon Mendolia
Hit the spot. Shared shrimp & grits, the bourbon St breakfast, and our lovely server Nancy convinced us on the fried green tomatoes.
Qimar Alfasi
Everything was great! Even the regular coffee. When I added a cream it was still dark. Perfect for the 1st cup of the day. Ofcourse I am greedy so I ordered the mocha too. Made with ghirardelli can't go wrong. It was better than Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Seattles Best!
And don't get me started on the shrimp omelette! I have no idea why there was salt and pepper at the table. There was a party in my mouth with every bite.
Pete Smith
Came here for breakfast on my last day in New Orleans. I ordered a loaded Bloody Mary (pickled beans, okra, shrimp, and bacon) and the New Orleans Eggs Benedict. The benny had crab cake on it and was delicious. The side grits were good. I was impressed with the service and food selection! I'd definitely check it out again when I'm back in New Orleans.
sheldon henry
Breakfast was great and service was amazing. The grits were the best I've ever had.
Katie Dives
The BEST hollandaise and the BEST cheese grits I have ever had! The coffee with chicory was so good I couldn't stop drinking it! I ordered the avacado omelet covered in hollandaise. It was incredible! Excellent staff and decent prices! Would love to go again!
Scott Hayes
The bourbon pecan pancakes, fleur de lis omelet, and fried green tomatoes were excellent. Also the chicory coffee with milk was perfect!
Jen M
Nice staff , enjoyed the multi level seating and open door vibe. They offer chicory coffee as a local fav . The shrimp and grits were the best I’ve had ! Fluffiness of the grits were excellent.
Chris Madison
This place is great for breakfast. The hostess was a bit disinterested but we were very excited as we were celebrating a birthday. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. The food was great. The French toast was light and sweet. The fried green tomatoes were crunchy and juicy. Our mimosas were refreshing. Wer would eat there again.
Marjorie Chidyausiku
Stopped in for breakfast and was not disappointed! My son and I enjoyed our meals! Would definitely eat here again if in town!
John Garland
This place was fantastic. We ate at several places in the quarter over a week and this was our farewell breakfast. We kinda went overboard but the food was incredible, the service was quick and the server was knowledgeable as well. I'll definitely come back.
Lindsey Carrick
Everything we ordered was amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Wait was about 30 mins for brunch of Sunday morning (Saints game day). The staff was nice and quick. Food came out quick.
Would definitely come again
Sarah Brubaker
Wow! Can I just? Delicious. Simply perfect. Epic service. I have allergies the waitress caught on without me asking and took very good care of me!
Erika Martinez
Saturday morning in new orleans and i am traveling on my own. I arrive to the restaurant and there is a couple in front of me waiting to be seated. the hostess was no where to be found. As the mintues go other guests start arriving and the line is just accumulating. The host arrives and introduces himself as Cameron and startes picking people to add to his waiting list instead of asking who came first and so on... He asked for my name and number to add to the waiting list, as i called out my phone number, he says, " IS THIS A MEXICAN NUMBER BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY NUMBERS?" I did reply back how rude that was and it was a Texas number. Just because he didn't understand the phone number doesn't mean its foreign because I might look foreign....Many people around me were uncomfortable with his comment.
As per the food and service it was great and made up for the inconsiderate person Cameron the host is.
Ryan Anderson
Stopped in for breakfast and had an amazing eggs benedict, I get them everywhere and these were top-shelf. Quick service. Check them out!
D Masterson
Great breakfast and service. I sat on the balcony for the first time ever in New Orleans. I had a great breakfast.
Alex Torres
Wonderful food! I ordered the Big Country Breakfast. It came with grits which I added shrimp to. You should do it too!
Natalie Holden
Delicious strawberry pancakes and the Big Easy breakfast was cooked very well. Our server had a lot of tables and handled them all effortlessly. I’m taking off two stars because the kitchen looked extremely dirty and all but one cook had gloves on while the others were touching food with their hands. I think this place does need a bit of a deep clean.
Christina LeMoine
I recommend it! Brunch that's savory, sweet, country and seafood. Not to mention awesome drinks which you can also take with you to go. Coffee exceeded my expectations. My scrambled eggs were a bit over done, but I still enjoyed all my food. The pancakes taste like cake 😋. I would come back here. Staff are good and efficient. There was a wait when I came, but my table came up very fast.
Destiney Smith
Food was very good! Would highly recommend this place. Our server Nila was very friendly and took great care of us. I got the fleur de lis omelette 10/10! My mimosa was very strong. Next trip to New Orleans we will be back!
Rob
Top notch breakfast place with time to relax and not be rushed. A lot of breakfast places rush you out but this one allows for you to sit and dine and relax to start the morning. Espresso was amazing and food was delicious. Little overpriced but worth it.
Elizabeth Barnes
The food was really good. Waitress was okay. The bathroom on the second floor was disgusting. Would not go back simply for that reason bc if their bathroom looks that way what does the kitchen look like?
Marmiko DeCeita
This place is a diamond in the rough!! Our doorman suggested we give it a try before departing NOLA. So glad we did! We ordered a little bit of everything from the menu WITH NO SHAME! The service was great and the food is incredible!
Krystal Sierra
What a lovely brunch. The oyster benedict is very tasty, and the grits are the best I've ever had. Order a bellini!
Timothy Miller
Great little Cafe tucked into the French Quarter. Their grits were delicious, creamy and flavorful. I thought their seafood Benedict with crab and crawfish cakes on a biscuit were the best I had my whole trip to New Orleans. And their sweet tea is legit. I highly recommend them for breakfast!
Eddie Mack
Took my family to this restaurant for breakfast. Seems like an easy place to overlook, but the service was friendly and the food was very good. They have a variety of omelets and breakfast sandwiches to choose from. My wife got the french toast, which we both thought was very good. I also recommend the chocolate chip pancakes.
Tara H
I crave their shrimp and grits and get it every visit. Husband loves their wake up burger.
true
Stumbled upon this gem while searching for breakfast early one day, and I’m so glad we did! The best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had! (If you look at my page you’ll know I’ve had my fare share) I will definitely be back!
Sophie Vallier
Fantastic food, friendly customer service. You currently need to show proof or vaccinations or negative test to get a table. Make it double safe :)
Furkan Cimen
They have wide range of benedict varieties and all of them are delicious. The wait times are around 20 to 30 minutes which is understandable as it's a touristic location. The staff is great and does a really good job. Highly suggested.
Isidro Villarreal
Delicious. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. I had the seafood omelette with creamed spinach and would get it again in a heartbeat.
Life With Cats by suntawrites
Checked Google reviews before going. Nice hostess. Nice atmosphere. Slow service. Decent breakfast. Ate on the tiny balcony which really provided a full New Orleans experience.
Daniel R
super friendly staff and amazing food! shrimp and grits were done perfectly, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection, if your in the area please stop by for a quick bite.
S. Sealy
I could eat here a million times over. The breakfast is so delicious 😋
ashley james
Outstanding food at great prices. Small venue with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
a k
We got there at 9 and beat the rush. There was a wait out the door when we left. Service was definitely slow. Friendly, but slow. Chai tea latte was delish! Husband had shrimp and grits, I had the seriously southern breakfast. Food was amazing! 1/3" bacon was the best bacon I've had in New Orleans! Definitely glad we made a stop here!
Frank Devlin
NOLA breakfast was nice. Seafood omelet.
Pleasant server. COVID-19 checks. But, no wait.
VJ
Breakfast was good! the day we went there was boiling water advisory from the city so they couldn't make any coffee or tea for us that was disappointing. I would still go back and hope to try their expresso.
eric fincher
Had party of 6 on a sunday morning no wait got us right in waitress was great, food was very good highly recommend for breakfast. Will be making this our breakfast spot in the future.
E S
Great place for breakfast in the heart of French quarter. Two floor restaurant...so no wait. That's a big plus when you're on vacation and dont want to waste time just standing around. Definitely try the banana, pecan pancakes! They were moist and delicious!! They came with a shot of bourbon...not for me at 9 am but my friends hubby enjoyed it. ;)
Nate Ulsh
Props to the service and great food. Although they messed up my burger order, they fixed it immediately and it was delicious. Bloody Mary and chai tea latte were on point as well.
Stacia Sanders
The food 😋was so good we went there twice. Our waitress name was Nancy and he was definitely on point …
charles williston
Breakfast was amazing. Had eggs Benedict and the Bourbon Street Breakfast. I have no doubt everything on the menu would have been just as good.
El Pt
We had breakfast here 3 times. First day breakfast was delicious. Second day it was ok. Third day there was mix up with table reservation when we came in for breakfast and our orders of Seafood Benedict were missing hollandaise sauce and butter. Very inconsistent
Stephanie Morge
Fantastic food and service! I had the seafood benedict and my wife and the Big Easy breakfast. Highly recommend!
Dave Hall
This place serves great breakfast with a distinct New Orleans flavor.
The service was excellent and the food was great.
We'll be back!
Lisa Palazzolo
Really good food! Best grits I've ever had. Eggs Benedict and Shrimp and grits are yummy! Attentive servers! 💓 …
elena panizza
Seriously delicious breakfast! Fast and friendly service, great traditional dishes, plus their awesome Bloody Mary brings you back to life after a night of partying. Don’t miss it!
Joel Azopardi
The food was good, the service was excellent and the location is awesome! Loved being upstairs, it was a little chilly to be out on the balcony without a jacket in Oct. But being next to it was just as good!
Robin Zhang
Just okay, nothing special. Had a really salty crawfish étouffée and a decent seafood gumbo (alligator sausage + shrimp + crab), neither of which were impressive.
Maybe I’ll just stick to the breakfast items next time.
Terry Trinidad
Always busy, but worth the wait....we came 2 days in a row! Would come back 3rd day if still here. Multiple choices and grits were FABULOUS!
Terreze Williams
My boyfriend and I decided to come here after running a few errands. It was surprisingly empty to say that it was a Saturday around 3 p.m., but we decided to give it a try. Food was really good and I love the pancakes like seriously! My boyfriend had the boudin omelet and it was pretty good too. We also tried gruyere cheese on our grits and it gave it almost a smoky flavor to it. Really nice place. Give this place a shot if you are browsing around the French Quarter.
Shannon Pink
Delicious breakfast. Catfish Benedict was unique and tasty. King cake beignet was only okay, real Beignets we're better.
jason molidor
What a great spot for all day breakfast. Everyone who worked here was very nice. Very attentive. We were treated promptly at the server station, sat quickly. The coffee was strong. The food portions were large. Perfect start to the day after a night on the town. I'd definitely recommend if.
Mike Stoller
A little pricey, which should be expected due to its FQ location. But the food and drinks were really good.
Lipkvich Fabrication
Easily the best breakfast I had on our trip. Staff is friendly food and drinks are 5 star and above.
Jenny
Quick table service and very tasty breakfast options. Say upstairs at around 8:30 wi. Mostly empty tables and started to fill up with people around 9am on a Saturday morning. Worth a visit. Reasonably priced.
Scott Drake
Easily the best breakfast we have had in the French Quarter. Service was wonderful and food was delicious.
Mike Richards
Awesome spot for breakfast. French toast was amazing!
dana jacobs
Best pancakes I have had in a while. Great service. It is a bit of a wait for a table. We waited an hour. They take your phone number and text you when your table is ready.
Corey Stone
Awesome food and service! Prices were very reasonable and they were out of a few items I ordered so the owner paid for my drink and I went with the Shrimp and Grits...something I decided I could eat every, single day!
Ralph Bradley
Fantastic! One of the best breakfasts ever. Smoked Salmon Benedic was perfection from the biscuit base through the creamed spinach to the egg with smoothly runny yolk... Just wow! And the grits, what can I say, just rediculous... Get em with cheese and dream about them after the nap you'll need following this meal.
They just don't mess around with anything. My son's chocolate milk was even impressive. From the French Toast to the pancakes and on to the mimosa - all great!
Cute place, not big. Quick friendly service. Great music, good location in French Quarter.
Go out of your way to eat here. I'll sure be back.
José Iturriaga
One of the best places for brekfast in the city.
Ariel
Had a crab omelette and it's delicious.
Meredyth Helms
Amazing amazing amazing. Every time I’ve ever been the service has been great, usually a short wait time even if they say 40 mins there are tons or things to look at nearby and they always get us in less time. The grits are the best grits in the world. Even if you don’t like grits give them a try. Boudin omelet, crawfish omelet, toast, sweet tea, hash browns, I mean everything at this place is amazing. Best breakfast in NOLA.
emily bishop
We ate here twice on our trip, the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Grits are a must.
Edward Bonilla
Excellent food !! Best yellow grits I ever had!!!
I had the Creole County Breakfast!!!!
Isaac Abakah
Absolute best grits we’ve ever had in life, our server Skylor was great and attentive. Food came out quick (and also went quick!) 10/10 experience
Sarah Mihelcic
I had the best French toast of my life while I sat on a quaint balcony with an amazing view of the street
Sara Allison
We had a larger party (9 people) and they seated us upstairs. It was nice and quiet there and the oysters benedict was very good. The server was quick to know what ingredients they had run out of and offered suggestions for alternatives. I will definitely come back then next time we are in town.
Alex Sandoval
Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Make reservations! It gets busy... fast! I had the Oysters Benedict! First time here and first time trying oysters for breakfast. Wasn't mad at it! Try them, they're delish!
Michelle C.
Everyone was super sweet and helpful. Our server, Gigi was an awesome lady and gave us a few tips during our girls weekend getaway. Would highly recommend the blacken catfish! I substituted my cheese grits for hashbrowns and I loved it. My girlfriends loved the chai latte too! Note: Photo is of a friend's dish, the big easy breakfast, I believe.
William A Henriquez
True Southern breakfast. Coffee poured with attitude! Friendly staff. Excellent presentation. Quality ingredients. Cheesy Grits! Yummy sausage. Priced accordingly 😋 …
Nia Garcia
The only reason I am not rating this place of 5 is due to the wait time. But the food is absolutely amazing every bite is filled with flavor and is so savory I can honestly say it was worth the wait. You have to try their shrimp and grits.
pamela church
LOVES LOVED LOVED this place. The fried green tomatoes were so good, spicy but so juicy. My favorite meal during my visit to New Orleans, would recommend to all
Jason Hodges
Everything was excellent at fluer de lis. Great crawfish omlette with lots of meat. My wife loved the cheese and grits but get extra sauce. Bloody Mary's looked impressive but i just don't like em. Get on the waiting list because they have a wait on the weekends.
Austin Barlow
As always, the shrimp and grits were incredible. This is my favorite breakfast spot in NOLA!
Charles McNeil
Service and ambiance were great. Coffee was poor. Grits were excellent. Eggs were a horrible, wet, awful tasting mess. Boudin was bland and had no spice. Biscuit was more like a roll than a biscuit. I will not return. I suggest you go elsewhere for breakfast. New Orleans must have a better option than this.
Brian Jilek
Crab omelette was great.! The cheese grits are the best I’ve ever had (anywhere)..!
Elizabeth Myrtle
I love this place! I look forward to eating there every trip. The boudin omelet, cheesy grits, and banan sweet cream pancakes are my top 3 favorites.
They have a refreshing iced chai latte as well.
There is sometimes a wait but it is worth it!
Jae Sung
Friendly service, but food is just ok. Don’t try the coffee unless you like yours stongly bitter.
Shanowya J
Some of the best shrimp and grits I've had in NOLA. We visited twice during our stay.
Diego Rondán Alfaro
Good breakfast. However the service is so slow and chaotic. They should care of the cleaning (the floor was dirty). Plastic plates and cups...
Dover House
Just a great little place that I went to two years ago and couldn't wait to go back on my last trip. The Bloody Mary is very spicy and leaves a little little Tang, which Bloody Mary is supposed to do. The pecan banana pancakes are served with candied bacon, warm butter and warm syrup, and a two-finger shot of bourbon. Just pour the bourbon on the pancakes at the Econo mup and you butter am up, and it's a good way to start off the day.
Marie Holada
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Get the shrimp and grits!!! Jennifer is fantastic and gave great recommendations!
Michael Nekrasov
Tasty Brunch in the middle of the French quarter
Parth Patel
Wonderful breakfast place in the NOLA area! Definitely worth checking out for some delicious eats without going to far away from Bourbon Street.
Lorinda Jarvis
Best shrimp and I've ever had. Cheesy, with shrimp sitting in a pool of lemon and garlic sauce. Highly recommend.
Hazel Osborn
I had a lot of fancy meals in NOLA during French Quarter Fest, but the SHRIMP AND GRITS in this place was the BEST!!! I ordered it exactly as listed on the menu even though I wasn't sure I would like the sauce but it was magnificent. Staff is friendly, wait - even at a busy time - is short. The place is clean and bright, too. THE BEST!
Florence Wilson
The grits were so yummy! Everything tasted good! Wish we had time for one more breakfast in New Orleans!
Joel Goddard
Had amazing lunch and breakfast here at fair prices. The wait varied depending on what we ordered so best to make sure you have time or discuss with your waiter. The bourbon pancake breakfast is a meal to remember!
Courtney
Had the Seafood Benedict, SO delicious, not a very long wait, good coffee and mimosas
Very attentive waitstaff and colorful menu. Will eat here again next time I stay in the Big Easy!
Christina Wolf
Service was excellent. The food was delicious. We had seafood Benedict, oyster February Benedict, and the sweet cream pancakes with chocolate chips. We loved that the Benedicts were served on a biscuit rather than English muffin. The fried oysters were delicious, as was the crawfish and crab cake. The only complaint we have is that the bathroom was really dirty. Other than that, fantastic start to the day
Jennette Davidson
One of the best places I have ever eaten! The waitress gave us the history of the building and was very friendly!
Jacob Lovell
Proof of vax was lame but I guess they have to. Food and service was great. Prices surprisingly reasonable.
Sara h
It deserves 6 stars. We found this on our last day in new Orleans and I am quite frankly mad that I won't have a chance to come back. The grits are freaking amazing. The biscuits are clearly scratch made. Service was fast and we were seated sooner than expected even with a wait. They do a texting wait list so you can wonder while you wait.
Troy Nash
Love the upstairs dinning room and seafood omelet paired with their famous Bloody Mary's 😋 …
Joseph Henahan
Good place for breakfast. Ask to sit on their three table balcony. Worth the wait to do people watching. Egg dishes were prepared perfectly. Avoid the pancakes and French toast. French toast was very dry and the pancakes had no flavor. Staff were all very pleasant.
Tor Ben
Excellent
Super service, very tasty food and fair prices.
BigEasyBreakfast absolut recommended.
Joel Ayala
Great breakfast. Grits were best I've ever had.
Lisa
Worth the wait. Great food and great service with authenticity. Thank you for a great experience NANCY!
Amybamy Bam
The eggs were great, avocado salad wonderful. Staff was friendly, we had about a 20 min wait, but it was fine. I preferred it to menas, which was good too for breakfast. As for bloody Mary I'd go 3 stars, not bad at all and im into bloody Mary's so It wasn't a wow for me but I'd go again for the eggs.
Jayme Buzard
Amazing breakfast! Best ever bacon Bloody Mary. Pancakes were great. Good service.
Willow
The grits were amazing! Best breakfast spot nearby (try the Bloody Mary)
Justin Icenhour
I ordered the Burbon St. Breakfast mainly for the experience since I was on vacation and all, but damn it was good, I don't normally even like pancakes and I damn near finish the whole platter. Great food, great service.
Alvin D'Costa
Everything was yummy, made to perfection. Quantity was more than expected! Highly recommend
Joshua Rose
Great atmosphere and location. Pretty good breakfast, boudin was dry but the grits made up for it! Construction next door made dust fly in the door and we were the closest to the door so we had to cover our drinks
Jacqui May
Very nice atmosphere. Come in the morning before 11am for a nice breakfast. No lines at that time.
Christina White
Mango mimosa, shrimp bloody mary, big easy breakfast! Generous portions, amazing service and friendliest staff!
Yojana Pinkard
Great bfast wait time is reasonable staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!
Andrea F
Came in during the French Quarter Fest with my uncle about 30 minutes before they were set to close, and they seated us with no question. We both got breakfast. He loved his French Toast, I loved my biscuits and gravy with sausage added. Great service, quick and efficient.
John Collins
Very busy, it is Sunday though, staff is friendly and prompt. Still only a 15 min wait for a table to seat six of us. We sat on the second great bloody mary! So much to see and do in NOLA we only webt once, but would definitely go again.
Jessica Eason
The food was delicious and staff was great!
Fleur De Lis Omelet
K C
Food was great, service was a little slow but waitress offered mimosas for our wait. Definitely will return! Bourbon Street Breakfast with a shot of Bourbon!
David Thomas
Nice place, very good food. It was a short wait but very well worth it. Great place to eat.
sal diquattro
Really loved it here. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very inviting. The breakfast chimichanga, espreso, and screwdriver were on point. I'll definitely go back for another visit, the lunch menu looks delicious. Very casual so your everyday clothes will be fine.
Leo Czekalski (Life of a Realtor)
Gumbo was good and my friend had shrimp and grits.
Katherine Stack
Food and service were amazing!! Truly appreciated the atmosphere and loved the decor
Amanda Wilkerson
Every. Single. Visit. Eggs Benedict is incredible. And their coffee is made after ordered. Fresh. Right there. Oh my gosh. Staff is great, service is amazing.
Gary B
Their shrimp and grits was very good if you like grits but their Seafood Benedict was amazing! They have very limited balcony seating and Hunter was nice enough to open the balcony for us the day after Thanksgiving.
Patricia Ruiz
Not bad, but we expected more… we waited 20 minutes for the breakfast and the bacon was cold the toasts were cold and the eggs almost cold. When you wait so long you expect something just coocked… meanwhile we saw other tables that had their breakfast in less than 10 minutes.
Sam McAlister
I had the Shrimp and Grits w/ a Bloody Mary. Both were ok, but the shrimp were over cooked and I prefer my Bloody Mary with Zing Zang. My wife's 2 eggs and sausage were very good.
Peggy Sah
I got the oyster benedict. The flavor was great, but I was disappointed with the portions for the price. You get exactly four oysters with your order. Also, my eggs were cold and slightly overcooked.
Jason Bastian
Amazing food, ate there for breakfast 3 times on my visit to New Orleans.
D. Ramirez
If I was rating solely on food, the rating would be a little higher. Unfortunately, the entire experience was not up to par. The physical environment itself left a lot to be desired. Aside from small , tight spaces customary to the French Quarter, the place seemed altogether unkept. The bathroom, the dining area and even the visible kitchen can afford a good cleaning. The staff was ok but I don't blame them, they are turning over guests after guests with how busy they get. In regards to the food, we had their breakfasts. Pancakes were delicious, bacon and eggs were typical and hash browns were a bit spicy and different. My understanding is this place is very popular among tourists but if I could do it again, I would probably go elsewhere.
Ahmad Alsalih
Great food , I tried their pecan pancakes & they were amazing , very good service , nice setting at an old house . & they accommodate vegetarian choices as well..
Frédéric Marcotte Piché
Great food, service seemed a bit inefficient although it was admittedly busy, we waited an hour to be seated and an hour for our food, the staff was visibly exhausted.
Sylina Barwick
There are tons of places to choose from in NOLA when it comes to food. Luckily, I stumbled upon this gem when searching for a breakfast spot. Being in New Orleans I knew I wanted to have shrimp and grits and Cafe Fleur De Lis had great reviews.
I am from the south so the bar is set pretty high when it comes to anything with grits. Well, Cafe Fleur De Lis is hands down the best place I've ever had shrimp and grits. Nothing lacked in flavor, texture, or quantity. I highly recommend going here!
The atmosphere like most places in the French quarter is casual. I also got a bacon Bloody Mary which was pretty good with all of the toppings (okra, spicy green beans, olives and a pepperocini).
Kiril Klein
Great omelette, music a little bit too loud
Gabriela Diaz
Just wow! The best eggs Florentine I’ve ever tried !
Delicious food and fast service ,I highly recommend this place for breakfast!
Eric Kim
Just had the boudin breakfast. Eggs and the grits were amazing! Boudin was ok. I wouldn't order that again. Service was fantastic!
C S
Saved to Favorites for EVERY future trip. Highly recommend.
People arent treated like tourist, but like they'll be remembered at each visit. Food is really 5 star!!
Howard West (West)
Service is kind of slow. Coffee is nothing special. Good food. Not bad for breakfast if you're wanting something more than sweet beads. Great egg dishes.
Jeremy Ferre
Good food, good service. Not the best or more extensive menu but enjoyed it.
Stephen McD
Food was on point, service was prompt and the staff very attentive and friendly... You won't go wrong with this spot and if it's to cool head upstairs to the 2nd dining area
Eddie Limon
Omg. Shrimp and Grits!! You won’t regret it!!
Humble, hard-working, very talented!! Food is fresh and lots of love into it!! Omg!! Really did not expect this in the quarter. You have something here! A real treasure!
Sierra Giordano (muffin69)
Very nice café, the hurricane was to die for
I got the Seafood Benedict 🤤🤤 I added creamed spinach and it was amazing.
Ariel Hanson
Whiskey with your pancakes? Who wouldn't love that!?
The building is beautiful, the food was great, as was the service. Definitely breakfast or brunch here!
Courtney Jemison
Went for my birthday breakfast. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict with their lil spicy hashbrowns. Pair it with a mimosa while the sun comes up over the building across the street (sit upstairs on or close to the balcony). Friendly staff from beginning to end. I will be back next time I'm in town!
Kfr Newpage
Great breakfast there today. Crab n shrimp omlet, 🍤 Bloody Mary. It's busy so sometimes service may drag. …
Amanda Mathis
Breakfast was amazing! Waitress was friendly and her recommendations did not disappoint! Highly recommend! If we are ever back in New Orleans, this place is definitely in the list!
Sofiya Arnaudova-Hewitt
Amazing breakfast. So delicious and the prices were very reasonable for downtown NOLA
Robert Jenkins
Wow! Big Easy Breakfast is the way to go. Friendly staff. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Will definitely be back
Meghan Murphy
Bailey Irish coffee & breakfast is delicious. The grits are amazing!
Michael Caposole
Quick service and breakfast was great... Had the seafood benedict with poached egg over crawfish and crab cake covered with spicy hollandaise sauce over biscuit with a side of hash... It was absolutely delicious!! Yum! Highly recommend.
Ivan Y
Breakfast was awesome. The shrimp and grits was especially great.
Kimberly Moore
It was Saturday morning. Being busy was to be expected. It was worth the wait. My wife had the shrimp and grits and I hade the southern breakfast. The 1/3 inch bacon was delicious and the shrimp and grits were awesome.
Abi O.
Amazing shrimp and grits. One of the best I enjoyed while in NOLA. Will definitely be back. Left one star out because they kept forgetting my syrup for pancakes but service and food amazing.
Roger Li
Had the seafood Benedict, some apple juice, and side bacon. Overall really tasty, the Benedict was a little too salty, but overall had a filling breakfast. They were also missing the earl grey for a London fog so just can’t give it 5 stars
Tony Mendoza
There are plenty of choices for breakfast in the French Quarter but this one is definitely a good one. We stopped in and had a bit of a wait, no surprise given it was 9:30am on a Sunday morning, but the food was quite delicious.
I had a Southern Breakfast which consisted of eggs, thick sliced (1/3 inch) bacon, biscuits & gravy and a short stack of pancakes. The food was very tasty, the bacon was surprisingly tasty and the pancakes were decent but not fantastic.
The service was a bit lacking, but that may have been due to the restaurant being busy and the seating is very limited, hence the wait, but otherwise this is a nice place to have a good, hearty breakfast. Definitely a place to stop by if you seek a tasty breakfast in the French Quarter.
Diana C
We went early and sat out on the balcony. The French Quarter is a totally different world at 730a. It was great to see it then and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food and service here were top notch. It's a great spot for breakfast! I don't think there's a bad thing on the menu
Linda Finn
Outstanding little place, luscious breakfast, lovely owner! convenient walk-to location from N.O. Marriott on Canal St., friendly service. I definitely would return next time in NOLA.
Kari Walters
The atmosphere is great! Very relaxed and charming place! The tables on the balcony overlooking the street are the ideal place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Excellent service.
Andrea Acosta
Food was pretty good here though nothing to be too excited about. Omlette was a little dry. Candied bacon was good and Banana pecan pancakes were not bad. Service was friendly and it was a cool place. Not sure I'd go back, but there was nothing really wrong with it.
Caleb Bogaczyk
Great breakfast/brunch! Shrimp and Grits were creamy, cheesy, and delicious.
Aymara S-G
The food is good and reasonably priced, but the best of all is their coffee! It is usually very busy so expect a little wait. It has mostly tourist.
Marco I
Downtown perfect. Got there at 7 am and they sat us upstairs, basically a room to ourselves. The food was delicious and our server was great.
Omar Clinton
First said wait half hour..got seated in 15 mins! Then sat, ordered quicjly ,received quickly. My wifes order was better than my order. Her grits were hot, mine weren't. Her eggs were cold mine were piping hot??? Sausage was good but mine was cold. Biscuit was amazing though. All in all server nice, food was replaced, hot and very tasty yellow grits. Coukd have given it a five if it came out the right way the first time....first impressions always.
Stephanie Shippy
Delicious King Cake French toast! We also had the special which was the breakfast wrap deep fried and covered in gravy which was good as well!
ASTRID VARGAS
Outstanding service!!!! My favorite part were the delicious pancakes 🥞.
We ordered two coffees and a big easy breakfast upgraded to chocolate chips pancakes, everything tasted delicious but the scrambled eggs where a little too greasy for me (but just for me 🤣)
I would recommend this place LOVE IT 😍
John Kirschbaum
Best grits ever....I can stop my review there, but let me digress. The crab catch omelette was fantastic. Great amount of protein with an awesome Rockefeller style topping. I got the hashbrowns, but when I tried the grits? I ordered a side for myself. Extremely rare for me to ever eat grits without some kind of seasoning, but these are just too good to mess with, would be sacrilege...
Lindsey Johnston
Some of the best casual dining we've experienced during our stay. I had a cappuccino and the eggs benedict with grits +a side of bacon. The food was wonderful. The grits are not your average grits - best I've had at a restaurant. They were made so well I didn't even need to add anything to them. Tina was our sever and she was amazing. She will make sure you're taken care of! She's genuine and caring. This place is on our "have to eat here again when we return" list.
Matthew Peeples
I have eaten here two days in a row for breakfast. I was staying at the W Hotel next door and they did not have a hot breakfast option so I tried Café Fleur De Lis. I was pleasantly pleased and really liked the options on their breakfast menu and my breakfast both mornings. If you're in the area, then definitely give this wonderful cafe a try!!!
Karthik Aghoram
Absolute delight. Nice atmosphere. Great food. We had the shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, and eggs florentine. Also got a side of grits. Everything was great, but the grits were the best ever. Now, for the rest of our grit eating existence, we will be on the lookout for grits like this.
Jeffrey Meadows
The French Quarter feels really dirty and old... because it is. I felt this restaurant was clean and had great service. Normal breakfast food for people not into sea food all the time.
Lauren Parkes
Best omelet I have ever had and I am super picky. Great iced latte. Great service. Sat upstairs. Wasn't rushed. Overall great breakfast spot.
MIRIAM CASTANOS
Food was delicious. The wait time was not long. Everyone was friendly.
Aja Williams
Best hash browns I've had in my life. The coffee was great and it was a nice little spot for breakfast.
Ginina Vitucci
Went around 815am on a Sunday in November and we seemed to just beat the main rush which showed up around 830am. No one seemed to wait more than 15 minutes while we were there though.
This place was a solid 4! We ordered the shrimp and grits and an avocado omelet. The goat cheese in the omelet was the key to it tasting good, otherwise it would have been bland. Shrimp and grits were cheesy and good. Note: shrimp comes with tail. Lattes were average. Service was good.
Kathy Kincaid
Absolutely the best crab and crawfish cake I've ever had. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, no to rich or buttery. Eggs were poached rightly. The biscuits are just a little thick for my taste, but were baked precisely. The hash browns were crispy, but the cheesy grits is where this Benedict shined! I normally don't like grits, but I couldn't get enough of them. So creamy, cheesey and seasoned to make your mouth drool for more 🤤. Half the price of the high-end places and just as tasty!!!! Great staff. Don't be fooled if the first floor looks full, come in! They have a second floor!!! Really a must try and delicate gem for the french quarter! You'll definitely want to go again!
Nadina De Castro
Very good breakfast place. Food is delicious, portions are shareable, and prices are reasonable. Pancakes are excellent. Just make sure to arrive with time to wait. The wait can be as long as 2 hours, depending on you party size. We arrived around 9 and we waited for 20 minutes, and we were only 2. But i saw larger groups being told that the wait was 2 hours. It was a second try there, the first time the wait was around an hour and we decided not to wait.
Robert McCarville
Great food. Loved my creamy cheese grits.
Mikael Niemi
Pancakes and po-boys were great! Service was flawless and friendly. Really recommend this place for breakfast! Also prices were reasonable
Chris Tortorelli
My favorite place for a home-cooked breakfast in Nola. The breakfast on bourbon was my favorite. This place makes the best bacon I've had in my life, gotta try it! Definitely stop by when you get the chance!
Simona Nagyova
The food was good, it was worth to wait for getting a breakfast table. I really liked the place until I walked by te kitchen area to the bathroom. It smelled and looked messy.
chris heaton
Amazing breakfast hands down the best we had since we got to town! The grits where amazing the boudin omelet was great! If you’re in the French quarter definitely check this place out
Natalie Taylor
I only wish my husband and I had found this place earlier on our NOLA honeymoon. It did not disappoint at all! We went twice for breakfast. We both ordered the big easy breakfast the first day and I ordered shrimp and grits the second time. The shrimp and grits are superb!! Do yourself a favor and put this on your list of must visit restaurants! Portions sizes are huge, the price point is fantastic, and the atmosphere is pure New Orleans perfection!
Diego Aguayo
The breakfast was worth the wait. Had the big southern and my fiance had the crab catch omlette with a mimosa and bellini. Everything was excellent, especially the grits....
Ryan Thompson
The food was made very well. The wait to get in was long. The wait for our order was longer. The waitress apologized twice and I could tell the wait for our food was probably not normal. The host was the worst part, he came outside and was rude to everyone waiting and said we needed to wait away from the storefront. He might have been frustrated, but he didn’t need to be a jerk
Amber Magee
Great spot for a quick breakfast. I ordered the Eggs Florentine and loved the twist of using creamed spinach instead of fresh or steamed spinach. Coffee is good, too. Atmosphere was a little noisy, mostly because it seems to be very kid friendly.
shawan smith
The place was really nice. The food was really good shrimps and grits was everything and the Irish coffee and strawberry mimosa were really good too.
Jon Thomas
Amazing! I highly recommend the Banana Pecan Cakes with a shot of Bourbon. Quickly sat us, very friendly staff, and one of the best pancakes I have ever had.
Roland Matthews
It was delicious. We was looking for a place to eat breakfast and a NOPD officer told me to eat there
BJ Noble
The only negative was that we waited 45 minutes for our seat and then another 45 minutes for our order..
Susan J
Busy place but the food was fresh and tasty! I had the fried green tomatoes and an Irish coffee
Chris Todd
We liked it so much that we ate there two days back-to-back.
Danielle Bennett
We had a big group (10 people) and they were super busy but able to accommodate us within 30 minutes or so. I think because they are two story location that helped. The people at the front door were super kind and knew what was going on within their restaurant. I'm celiac and gluten free so I opted for the Fleur De Lis Omelet without etouffee and got grits. The waiter wasn't sure about gluten free which isn't a surprise for New Orleans and nothing I'd fault him for at all. The omelet was so filling but I must say even our CA friend was blown away by the grits and went back the next day to buy more!!! So cheesy and delicious (I think they may use brown butter even) and definitely not low calorie but so, so good. The staff was nice and all locals, too. Everyone in our group seemed happy and even 4 gals went back the next day for breakfast because they enjoyed it so much.
Only point of information- their gravy is more a traditional gravy and less a Tennessee type chunky gravy for the biscuits and gravy and other items with gravy.
Adrian Rodriguez
It was really great food 😋 but the service could have been a little better …
JOHN WOODWARD
Found this place at the last minute and we were pleasantly surprised. Really good food with quick, quality service. In and out quick...stomach totally satisfied.
Tom Brander
Well rated for good reasons great breakfast/ brunch spot. The system they have for the wait is quite good you get a countdown timer on your phone, food is very good with a nice choice of omlets wraps and more.
Kovas Palubinskas
Great breakfast spot, sit on the balcony if you can.
N. G.
Arrived at about 10 on a Saturday morning with a 30 minute wait. Not too bad! Service was excellent. Portions are nice. Knocked off a star because the food was very mild in flavor. I was surprised since it’s an area known for seasoning and flavors. I’d return again if there wasn’t a long wait and I was in the mood for a simple breakfast. Definitely recommend the fried green tomatoes
Kian O’ Neo
Wait was very long but fitting because the food was great! I had the Eggs Benedict! Best breakfast I've had for awhile!
Kelly Thomas
After a fabulous meal at SouBo across the street the night before, at the recommendation of our fabulous server Tina - we had breakfast here and again were lucky to have Tina as our server (does she sleep?). We just could not make up our mind so we chose mains and had some tasting extravagance to go with😏. We had the Fried Oyster Benedict (my clear favorite glad I ordered it!), Smoked Salmon Benedict, Shrimp and Grits, and pancakes - pecan and chocolate. Mimosas and house coffees. No we did not eat every bite but WOW we wanted to. Again Tina was fabulous and also we got to be seated upstairs which was lovely. There is a balcony that looks quite nice so keep that in mind!
Annette Lucchesi
We went for breakfast and we loved it. The food was great. I loved the grits and my son loved the French toast. We had a super nice waitress, who was also very attentive. THE BEST thing was how EXTREMELY entertaining the cooks were. I don't know if this is how things are allnday long but there were three cooks doing much of the breakfast prep from what I could see. They were making pancakes, cooking bacon and eggs and plating the food. They were doing this all in a small space. They ebbed and flowed with each other with the grace of dancers. I was in awe of them. Thank you for a great meal and the enjoyable time.
Richard Rossen
Delightful breakfast and great service. Omelet and best ever grits were a tasty way to start the day. And the coffee was memorable, even with Cafe au Lait nearby! Highly recommend.
Christi Tucker
Loved it. Everything was fabulous. I never order grits at a restaurant because they are never the way I make them. The grits were phenomenal!!!
Louise Nicholson
Amazing food. One of the best Bloody Mary's too
Jen S
Great thick bacon! We got a big breakfast - the pancakes, grits, biscuits & gravy, eggs were all good. Took a little while but very worth it.
William Glenn
The Eggs Benedict was disappointing. Just didn't have any flavor, neither the Hollandaise nor the Canadian Bacon. Fun to put it on a biscuit - that might work if the rest had been better. (Or was it the cause of the bland taste?) The grits were wonderful. Took a little while to get a table, but not too bad. But I felt a little forgotten once I sat down. Okay not great customer service. I'd probably try this place again, because I like their sister cafe, Envie Espresso so much. But I would definitely order something else.
Nyabinghi Djehutti
The Smoked Salmon Benedict was PERFECTION! Can't wait to try their other Benedict versions. All the menu options sounded delicious. Bloody Mary was great, the pickled green beans and ocra spiced it just right! Well worth the hour wait to be seated (gave me time to do some wandering about & a foot massage).
Leonard Johnson-Biddle
We had the Bourbon Street Breakfast and the Seafood Benedict, and both were amazing. The Hurricane and Bellini were also better than we've had at other places in town. I'd recommend getting a table upstairs in the front; even if you have to wait a bit like we did, it's worth it. Only in town for another day, but we'll probably be back for breakfast again tomorrow.
Tricia
Amazing grits, you have to try them (but warning: it was a wait to get them).
On weekends they do not do to go orders so you have to get a table.
It was a Sunday morning but we waited 40 minutes for our table and another 40 minutes after ordering for the food to come out.
We got the seafood omelet, seafood eggs benedict, both with a side of grits. The meals were great but if I were to do it again I would just get the full shrimp and grits order because those creamy grits are amazing!
The service here was also great, very helpful and, quirky.
Texas Trill TV 45 Hip Hop News And Entertainment
Got there around 830 am on a Saturday, did not have to wait to get seated. Smaller venue, great service, I ordered the banana pancakes with candied bacon , pancakes were not cooked all the way through, and they had a overly flour taste, my wife got a avacado omelet with grits which she said was fantastic. My kids liked what they ordered, but pancakes were not cooked all the way through also. I would recommend it, just maybe try something other then the pancakes. Long line as we were leaving.
Sierra Sherratt
Such a fun place to enjoy breakfast! This was my first time having grits, they're fantastic! I had the Oyster Benedict and it was super yummy! I can be picky with hollandaise sauce and this didn't disappoint! We will definitely be back here when we visit New Orleans in the future! Also chicory coffee is a must try!
candice cummings
Small local cafe with friendly and prompt service. The aesthetic was classic French quarter style which I loved. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict with cheese grits and it was absolutely delicious. They also gave us a free piece of king cake which even though we were already stuffed from the rest of our meal we still ate the whole piece. It wasn’t a small piece of cake either but it was too good to not eat. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are in the area.
Sue Ontiveros
Fast, friendly service and a tasty breakfast. I'm not a big pancake fan, but boy, theirs sure were good.
M Ham-Ost
Tried to get breakfast on a weekened during Mardi Gras and there was about a 2hr wait. They did the texting wait line thing that other places around didnt do. So we could go to shops and get coffee while waiting. The food was decent along with the service.
Beth Adamowicz
Wonderful spot for breakfast. Feels like a greasy spoon, but the food is far better and more interesting. Get in early-- we had no wait around 9:30, but by the time we left people were lining up. I had the blackened catfish and grits, which was absolutely amazing. Great price for the amount and quality. Coffee was great too. Highly recommend!
saranya taylor
Seafood Benedict was AMAZING!!!! HIDDEN GEM - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Dr. Tracy Nichols
Great food, service, and reasonable price for the portion size.
Alyssa Carter
Best grits I’ve EVER had! (And I get the grits everywhere) Seafood Benedict was awesome and my daughter had The Big Easy Breakfast which she said was great too! A lot of food. Our waiter Frankie, was super and even answered our questions about which bars/venues were open (Covid-19 time). Little cafe, 2 stories, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Re Srorn
Came here on our last day in NOLA. Their seafood omelet was to die for!!! Super cute spot to dine at.
Aharon Yosef
Very busy for breakfast, and we expected a 20-30 minute wait for our breakfast to be brought to us. Amazingly, it was half that. The waiter was very helpful and recommended a great local beer. Needless to say, we were very satisfied with the food. We'll return there next time we are in New Orleans.
A Y
The food is decent, nothing to wow about, the humidity shows on the walls. Staff is good and attentive..probably the highlight of the cafe.
Miguel Soria
Took a minute to be seated but we’ll worth the wait. I had the seafood Benedict and it was amazing! The poached eggs were a first for me but not the last. Everything was great my wife had the southern breakfast did not disappoint either. Definitely will be going back when we come back to New Orleans.
Charles Cody
I got what I was expecting. The waitress was friendly. I had a good spot to watch the street waking up on a Monday morning.
Wendie D
Amazing! The best grits in town! Everything was phenomenal! Can't recommend it more. The prices were on point as well. 😊❤️ …
Ana Luca
Oyster Benedict was a wrong decision, the crab Benedict was amazing, and the service was very nice:)
Jason Ray Pascua
Shrimp and Grits are on point! Someone suggested 2 eggs over easy to go along with and it was DELICIOUS!
Lauren Fernandez
This is the cutest little cafe. The first thing you see are bright red doors, and you walk in to a cute diner type setting. The servers are all kind and welcoming. We got a fruit bowl with yogurt and granola, as well as chocolate chip pancakes and a side of bacon. All of it was absolutely amazing! The pancakes were fluffy and not too chocolatey! The bacon was nice and crispy. I love the atmosphere and food here! Check it out!
christopher watson
Generous portions, good food, great service!
