I got the garlic grilled chicken pizza with no tomatoes but added green peppers, small Caesar salad and some Golds Peak Sweet tea. This was my first visit here st Big Pie Pizza and with family vibes of being back at home, this was a fenominal pizza that was bursting with flavor in every bite, and at a reasonable price, I most definitely will be coming back for more! Thank You!

Love this little spot. Was staying in NOLA for 2 weeks for work before Mardi Gras and drank/ate there several times. It was quiet, but the beer was cold and the pizza was hot and tasty. If I go back to New Orleans, I'm definitely going back.

I had to get some to go wings. I really wanted a diet coke, but changed my mind. They are open and running. They sell alcohol and traditional itialian dishes. The bar is ornate and looks nice. The interior looks clean and well maintained. Not sure if more seating is upstairs. Anyway this was a good stop and I recommend

Basically we were the only one in there. The bartender took good care of us no problem and our pizza was pretty good. However $6 dollar Miller Lites, and dead ants on the one bathroom sink was a big turn off. Manager type dude vaping marijuana…….🤷‍♀️ …

Stayed next door at the Le Pavilion, decided to eat here our first night. Loved it called our order in and was going to pick up instead of delivery. they called us when it was time to pick it up. Faster than expected too 🙂 the pizza was great.

Don't listen to the people, whoever they are, who tell you that the best bars in New Orleans are on Bourbon Street. Big Pie Pizza may not look like a bar, but it's got the heart of one. The staff are always friendly and outgoing, and there's always room for a newcomer. I've been coming here since I moved to the area, and I've never had a bad experience. The pizza in the name is well priced, and in an area with no shortage of pizza places it still stands out. I think it's the best in the city, and it's certainly among the most reasonably priced.

Good pizza and bar joint that keeps their kitchen open late for all us night owls. Friendly staff are happy to help you with your order and the kitchen is great at making your food quickly. We passed by twice during our 4 day stay, no regrets about the calories, but I will definitely have to hit the gym when we get home. They have a large bar with several tables around it. There are a few booths and some 6 person tables. The music is at a respectable volume and we didn't have any issues with hearing each other. They are located off of Poydras and far enough from the quarter that it feels pretty safe to walk to. Look them up if you want a great pizza at a good price.

Love this place. I found Big Pie almost by accident. I had just left my hotel and was looking for a place to eat a late lunch. The first few restaurants I passed were apparently not open for lunch on a Saturday. I came upon a little out of the way pizza joint and decided to give it a try. My calzone was great, the beer was cold, and the staff was very friendly. Kind of felt one of my hometown neighborhood bars. Everybody should check it out. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

This place is an awesome little restaurant/bar! My mom and I went in and had some of their spaghetti and meatballs and it was SO GOOD!! It was a bigger portion so we shared, but splitting it was perfect. They also have amazing fries. The bartender (I've already forgotten her name) was super nice and made it a more personal experience than just a waitress waiting your table and bringing a check.

Being out of towners on vacation we procrastinated and were looking for somewhere a little late on a Monday evening after the weekend of St Patty's parades, about to give up we stumbled into this place on the way back to the hotel, looked open, we went in... First time in New Orleans and while on our afternoon walk we came across BIG PIE PIZZA BAR and their specials at that time were hard to pass up! From start to finish Nikki showed us the southern hospitality that I admire and appreciate very much and is also hard to find where I’m from. Place is clean, vibes are chill. Music is great. It was very REFRESHING. The pizza is phenomenal, the dough, sauce, and cheese, are cooked to perfection. The toppings I chose were peppers, pepperoni, & pineapple. If you enjoy Margaritas, that is Nikki's specialty! I will be back and I’m telling everyone I know when they come to New Orleans they have to make a stop at BIG PIE PIZZA & BAR!

Nicki is amazing very informative about places to visit while I was down there. The pickles back using okra was delicious first time I ever had pickled okra. Her services was extremely quick even with a nice amount of customers. This was our pre game spot before we hit Bourbon st and we made sure we ordered pizza to have in the house for a late night snack. Can’t wait to return to come back

OMG... hostess was kind enough to seat us even though it was closing time. Pizza was very very good! Hot and the pizza sauce was tasty! When visiting NOLA again and if I'm lucky to be in the area, I'll be ordering another pie from this place! They do have carry out btw!

I just got into town, we found this place right across the street from our hotel. It’s super cozy, friendly helpful staff. They have a solid selection of beverages. And the pizza we ordered came out delicious. Would definitely recommend this place as an little spot to swing by for pizza and drinks!

The food was delicious which is the saving grace of this place. Not very big but never seems to be crowded. Only bad thing about the pizza we ordered was the roasted garlic was spotted on there and not spread evenly. So we had to try and smooth it out once we got back to our room. The lady working while we were was very blunt and came off as rude. She hadn't worked there long but acted like she owned the place. Other than our encounter with her, I'd recommend this place for a bite.

9 on a Saturday night and no wait. One of the best pizza's I have had. Service wasn't top notch but was acceptable. I had a pepperoni pizza, my son had a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and my wife had a salad and the stuffed triangles with feta cheese and spinach. Everyone agreed that the food was awesome!

What a surprise this place turned out to be! My wife and I wanted a simple pizza during our last visit to New Orleans, and this place made us one of the best pies we've ever had. We're already planning another visit to the restaurant the next time we're in the city. Highly recommend, and especially suggest grabbing a drink at the bar while you're waiting for your pizza. Yum!

Nicki/Nicky was our server and she was great. I had my first muffuletta and was not disappointed. I like that I was able to walk to this establishment along the way of things. My table also ordered the bbq wings and a calzone (can’t recall which one) and there were no complaints. Will definitely be back.

It is a small place. The service was okay. We went around midnight on a weekend and there was a pretty good number of people in there. There looked to be only one guy in the kitchen cooking, so the food did take a little time coming out. My wife and I both had the meatball calzone and it was pretty good.

Small restaurant with great pizzas. We went here twice during my last visit to New Orleans and enjoyed the food both times. Service was a little slow during our second trip, but not terrible; it's seems there's only ever a few people working so if it's crowded don't be alarmed if takes a while to get your food or check. Nonetheless I still would recommend.

Hubby had the philly cheesesteak sandwich. He said that it was in the top 5 he's ever had. I had a salad and cheese sticks. The only complaint I have is the ranch so not so bad, lol. Good food if you're not in a hurry. One of the few places that has Bud Light.

I have to say the pizza is a bit on the pricey side, unless you go on a day when their prices are discounted. The pizza is excellent if you enjoy a pizza with a thinner crust, toppings and sauce taste of good quality. I was so close to giving this place five stars, but a woman working the front seemed somewhat indifferent to her customers. A little friendlyness goes a long way.

Great little stop for drinks and families alike. The pizza was a huge hit. I ordered a large and it was such a hit I ordered another to take back to the kids. Our family loves the thin crust and Big Pie Pizza does it right.

Pretty good food. Very good service from the bartender. We were happy to find a place open late after Mardi Gras partying. Chicken parmigiana was mostly bread but it did have good flavor. The pizza was delicious.

Made a late night run across the street from La Pavilion to the place. It is a nice little hole in the wall pizza joint. We got there and there were a handful of patron a couple of folks at the bar. The waitress and cook (manager I assume) were extremely friendly even though we showed up after 10:00 p.m. In fact, we talked to the cook for a good while after prepared our pizza and it was cooking in the oven.

Delicious, and rather large, old-style homemade meatball sub that also came with a boatload of French fries, which, with a draft beer, was only $12.75, (and that was after the lunch specials and before happy hour) served up in a cozy, clean, and unassuming little place. Next time I'll try their pizza!

returning customer - Thursday dinner.. happy hour 4 people in the place. out of a bunch of beer. Ordered 30 wings,, they only had 16. looked liked they switched cooks in the middle of my order. took along time, then (this was a to go order) it took for ever for the bartender to close me out. So the cheese sticks were soggy and the pizza and wings were barley warm. $48.. too bad..

My favorite bar in the entire city! Take this place for what it is. The drinks are super cheap for the area. The happy hour is unbeatable. The pizza is quick and great for that late night fix! Dont: Drink call or better liquor there. They fill Avion bottles with water. Order the stuffed pita and expect something different from the artichoke dip. Youll be disappointed. Do: Go here! I had the pepperoni calzone an thought mine was great, the rest of my family did not eat there. It's a hole in the wall but often times they are the best. A good indicator is if there's a wait. No wait here but it was almost full. Over all I'd say it was average.

All right, everyone who wrote a so-so review must not have consumed pizza or indulged in a libation at the same place that we did, today. I'm not sure about the spelling of her name, but Nanna (the server) and Jake (owner and tender of the bar) performed admirably and personably. Our non-IPA draft beers were cold and expectedly perfect. Our 14" (large) New York style pizza (with our additional ingredients) was exactly baked with just the correct degree of char (not too little, not too much), and was more delicious than our twice-as-expensive-foo-foo-gourmet ones purchased at a nearby, well-known hotel restaurant. Hey! Nanna and Jake, we shall return!
