Connie KOne of the most authentic, down to earth places that you could visit for both good food and good company! Will, our server is a warm, kind-hearted and lively individual that will not bs or oversell you on anything. He recommended us the gumbo, seafood fettuccine, and our new favourite drink— the Bayou Splash. Wish we took better photos because they really don’t do the place any justice!! Got to meet Lewis the chef there as well, he’s the man behind all the DELICIOUS food. My partner and I have been all over the French Quarter, Garden district and other touristy areas and this family-oriented place is so much more worth your $$.
Thank you Will, Bruce and Lewis for a great first experience in New Orleans, we will be back for sure.

I don’t have the words… JUST GO TRY IT! Really authentic and soulful stuff, great small business that deserves your money!
Greg JohnsonI received a sample of seafood gumbo and crawfish bisque. It was good. This place is nowhere near as crowded as the creole restauraunt next door, but the food is definitly good. The redfish Ponchatrain aas delicious and the crab cakes has a crawfish decoration between them. Still sucked the head of course, but the food was good. I ate slowly and enjoyed it
Raymond LuiVery good fried chicken! One of my favorite spots for fried chicken in NOLA. The staff were all extremely nice and I also really liked the BBQ shrimp appetizer.
C. HaugoOh my goodness! Such nice folks, generous portions and the best tasting gumbo, catfish and shrimp! The shrimp stew is amazing with huge shrimp, and the seasoning on all our food was just right. We definitely lucked out when we found this place and intend to return.
