If you love kolaches, this may be the best you'll ever have. Located in the east part of Nashville, they bake all different kinds of kolaches every morning they are open. The jalapeno and cheddar kolache was great, but the sweet cream cheese one was OUT OF THIS WORLD! They warm it up for you and wow- the taste, the texture. It was SO GOOD! I savored every bite and that thing was big too!

I needed to eat after landing. I was driving around and google maps suggested it. The "macho" (all toppings) breakfast tacos were great. Staff is friendly. Better for order to-go but there is limited bar-style seating in doors and a table outside. May hit again before I fly out.

I’m a Texas girl visiting Nashville & was SO excited to find this place where they served BOTH Texas kolaches & breakfast tacos! I was told the owner lived in Texas for many years. The sausage & cheese kolache was yummy & the dough had a nice sweetness to it. I also enjoyed the cream cheese kolache. The breakfast taco was decent but pricey at $5. My caramel vanilla latte was delish. Service was friendly & place is super cute! It was also nostalgic to see all the bumper stickers from Texas.

Adorable little place. Very small place for line, but the employees ensure that everything keeps moving quickly. Food is outstanding! Never had anything bad here, but I'll always go back to the Sweet Cream Kolaches.

Two of those tables have umbrellas ⛱ SERVICE 🙋🏼‍♂️💁🏼🕺✍️ - The man that took my order at the front was extremely friendly. The entire staff seemed relaxed and happy to be working together. FOOD 🍔🥗🍕🍜 - My wife got a sweet pastry and I got a jalapeño Kolache. The kolache was so good we went back for a another one for seconds 😬 PRICE - 💰💵💲💳 - CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! Coffee was $2, almost everything else is under $3-$4! Overall Thoughts - Wife and I came with our corgis and sat outside and had an absolutely splendid time eating high quality food for a very low price! High recommend!

My spouse and I stopped in to grab some coffee and pastries for a picnic. We absolutely loved the vibe and the people working, they were welcoming and helpful! We got the sausage kolache, cherry and cream cheese. The savory ones were my favorite and an authentic take on the Texas favorite. The bread was soft and slightly sweet, baked perfectly! The cherry one was our second favorite. I also got an iced latte which was smooth and not too sweet. The dirty chai iced, my husbands choice, was excellent. All around great establishment! Check it out for a quick, tasty bite!

What a unique place! Tasty options. I wish we could see the production in the back and how they prepare the kolaches. I loved reading about the history of the savory pastry too. Definitely a hipsters hidden gem that will soon be discovered by the mainstream ones. Not a lot of seating, mainly pick up and go. There's a little shop just across the inside mall that I also recommend you check out.

If you like yeast breads and quality food - then this place is for you! Hard to beat their Tex-Czech Kolaches - jalapeño, sausage and cheese is great. Blueberry muffins - delicious. Not a ton of seating outside…but grab and eat in the car is so worth it.

It's simple, but what they do, they do well. You can't go wrong with bread and sausage and cheese and the service was friendly. We live in a town that has the worst service 😆 It's crazy to be in Nashville and have everyone be so nice. What a great city!

Delicious koloche when they are warm. Be prepared to eat them elsewhere as the place is small with seating for about 6. Well worth the stop for a koloche and a coffee/latte. Will stop again next time we're in Nashville!

I found this place by accident while waiting to meet some friends last October. The name was quirky, so I decided to hop in, and I’ll definitely keep doing it! The atmosphere of this place is nice and quant, and I love how they have different art hanging up on the wall. The kolaches were delicious, and its nice that there are so many options. My husband goes in almost every morning for breakfast now, because you just can’t beat the price and quality of this place! I followed on social media and I’m always looking forward to what’s new on the menu! The ONLY reason I am not giving five stars is because sometimes the staff is unfriendly. They are not rude, just a bit on the unenthused side. I get it, but it’s been a few times now, and sometimes it throws the vibe off. There has been talk of them moving and I forward to visiting them at their new location when they do move!

Both amazing and unexciting for different reasons. I love the coffee drinks and they have a great variety of flavors. The staff are friendly too. Some of their food is incredible. Some not exciting. The kolaches are a bit meh. Most of their other food is great though. I wish the parking situation was better and it is unfortunate that they don’t have any seating.

Surprisingly good kolaches! Was a bit skeptic with the term Tex czech as I come from Texas and have been to The Little Czech Bakery (that's the famous one) in West, Texas many times. I do have to say the bread is better at Yeast, bready and chrisp without being to sweet. All in all a fantastic place and great food with good coffee. Glad we found it!

I came here twice in two days because it was that good. The ordering online thing is a pain, and almost led to me leaving and finding somewhere else I could pay in store, but I am glad I ended up staying. This is the savory breakfast muffin, which is what I got both days. Definitely have them warm it up for you!

First time having Kolaches. Small and quiet little bakery. Loved it. The Tex-Czech Jalepano Sausage and Cheddar is a must here! Super yummy! These Kolaches are similar to a Danish but thicker with bread and thicker in topping. $2.75 for the sweet Kolaches and $3.50 for the Tex-Czech Kolaches. There is a free parking lot from 6-8:30pm.

Absolutely delish!! The cream cheese kolache was amazing!! Also had the sausage and cheese kolache and it was the best I've had! I even tried the hot chocolate since I'm not a coffee person and it did not disappoint! Will be back!

YUM! Never had kolaches before, but let me tell you, I’m a fan now! They are some of the tastiest desserts I’ve had. The bread around the fruit center is not sweet, but paired with that center deliciousness, it is exactly what you want in a pastry. I tried the cinnamon apple and blueberry ones (mainly because they were the only 2 they had left), and I will definitely be a regular customer here from now on.

By far my favorite breakfast bakery in all of Nashville. Everything I have had here is amazing from the Tex-Czech sausage and cheese kolaches to their "above average cinnamon roll (which are are way above average!). Absolutely worth a visit!

Yeast is phenomenal! Our first visit to the city and we had to seek this place out. The Kolaches are fresh, soft and to die for. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer all questions! Chai lattes were hot and wonderful. Highly recommend making this place a priority stop!

We are so happy we randomly stayed in East Nashville and stumbled across this gem! The koulaches were SO tasty. We tried a jalapeño cheddar and sausage koulache and an apple cinnamon one. Both were amazing and the iced latte was pretty good as well 👍 Definitely a great find and an affordable treat!

Haven't tried their kolaches yet (gasp), but their cinnamon rolls are HUGE, would recommend splitting with someone! They're definitely sugary, but if you're in the mood for a cinnamon roll I'd recommend stopping here - and ask for it to be warmed! My friends and I got their breakfast tacos, and for $5 or $6 they were a bit smaller than we expected. Still delicious, but wish they were just a bit bigger.

I got the jalapeno sausage and cheddar kolache, which was great. The roll itself was really amazing, so great bread. 4 stars because the staff could be a tad bit friendlier/upbeat (not that they were unfriendly though) and the decor could use some work: I like the open kitchen, but the kitchen itself is messy-looking (not dirty though) and haphazard which takes away from that experience a bit.

A treasure! I popped in on a Monday and enjoyed a sausage Kolache fresh from the oven and a cold brew. The dough was sweet and soft, with a spIcy, cheesy filling. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is a Small seating area, I suggest you arrive as early as possible because they closed a little early Bc the baked goods sold out.

Yeast is absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It's easily my favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot. Their Saturday special is the biscuit sandwich with beef sausage and pimento cheese is incredible. It sells out most Saturday's so try and get there by or before 10am if you'd like to try it. Also, I think they have the best Nitro coffee in town. The picture is of their crustless spinach and sundried tomato quiche. Delicious!

There are two foods that are staples for a Texan breakfast: breakfast tacos and kolaches. Been here a couple times when I visit my fellow Texans/Austinites who moved to Nash some 5 years ago. This place is a home away from home for any Texan who craves a Kolache or Breakfast taco. The menu used to be more extensive but as this business has found its rhythm it has created its own image that not only stay true to its cuisine but embodies the developing vibe of East Nash. Way to go guys my family will be passing through this weekend for their first time in Nash for the July 4th weekend and I sent em your way. Keep doing what you’re-doing yall.

The food was good and the atmosphere was cool, but, considering the hype, I was left expecting more. The breakfast burrito was good but I expected something unique with their themes. The cinnamon rolls were not what I was hoping for and I’ve made better from the frozen food section. Staff was extremely nice though.

Visited at 7 am in the morning for a early breakfast/brunch. Food was amazing! We got the breakfast Special with cheese and the steak dish. Both were delicious and no single flavor overpowered the others. Both were also enough food that after having the amazing kolaches, we couldn’t finish our main meals. Service was great, atmosphere was upbeat. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

This place in insane. I got the taco bowl thing and it’s EVERYTHING I want that no other place in Nashville can give me. The potatoes are like a mix of sweet potatoes and normal potatoes and it’s incredible. And super cheap!!! a bowl with all of the addons is only $7.50. This is my new go to spot!! The staff was amazing too they were super busy and handled everything so quickly with great service.

Having just moved here from Texas I was craving some kolaches and found Yeast. Honestly so good, though the jalapeño cheese ones could be hotter. Dough was great, good amount of cheese and sausage. My wife also had a breakfast taco to give them a shot and they are the best we’ve had here so far(since salsa is such a big part of the package).

If you haven’t had a Texas style kolache you are in for a pleasant surprise. Their dough is incredible and I highly recommend getting a side of the jalapeño sauce. I found this place while searching for breakfast spots on Google. I was in Nashville for the first time, and I couldn't have found a better breakfast location. I tried their cream cheese Kolaches, the cinnamon roll, bacon breakfast taco and coffee. The cream cheese Kolache was soft, fluffy, and baked to perfection. It was sweet but not too sweet. The cinnamon roll was delicious you can tell they are homemade. Additionally, they offer a few different type of breakfast tacos. I had the bacon and I added their green salsa to it. It was finger licking good. If my friends and I had any room we would have gotten seconds! It was a small location so seating was tight. The wait time was not long at all and it seems like they support local farmers and people in the community. Coffee was good too!!! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Nashville!

A friend brought me here for a casual breakfast and I was amazed I'd never heard of it before. Great coffee. Great pastries. Their bread and rolls have that great yeasty flavor that you can usually only find if you make your own at home. I highly recommend you grab a fruit kolache and a mocha and watch the morning go by.

I am too from Texas and the kolaches here along with the breakfast tacos satisfy the soul. Have gone in at different times and even if the line seems kinda long at times moves rather quickly. They have a delicious cinnamon roll that people seem to enjoy a lot. The meat has been labeled in their ordering area to no be confused. I believe one star review was mad about that but if they would've just asked the people here are amazing go give it a try

Pro: all the pastries are great. Sweet but not overpowering, the fruit kolaches pair great with a black coffee. The tacos and meat kolaches are similarly well prepared. The staff is always pleasant and work quickly to get your order filled Con: hours aren't the greatest and they run out fast (easily overcome if you don't mind a wait). The venue is also tiny, so it's best not to come with a large group of you want to sit down and enjoy. Occasionally long lines wrap into the seating area and make the area feel particularly claustrophobic. General information: prices are reasonable in that I've never raised my eyebrow at a bill, parking is easy to come by in an attached lot

I also really enjoy their Savory options, like the bacon and blue cheese kolache I had this morning. The service is incredible. Folks from our Texas built this place. Wow, the baked good are giant. It takes a few minutes to get through the line, but no big deal. We had cinnamon rolls, breakfast tacos, etc. Can't even remember. The staff was efficient.

Kolache was fantastic. The chai we had was especially good. The server at the counter was great. Their energy and attitude were examples of a great SIP. The shop was out of sweet pastries, but that’s understandable on a Sunday around 10am. That means next time we are in town we will plan to come a little earlier.

Awesome!! Unique pastries both sweet and savory! It was very busy on a Saturday morning. There aren’t many tables but the patrons seemed to be getting a lot to go. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Some families and some you couples. We had sausage and cheese kolache, cherry kolache, blueberry kolache and a cinnamon roll and all were great! The staff is super friendly and helpful and work VERY hard to make you feel welcome and well served. The kitchen is open so you see all that is going on door to door. Keep up the great work!

First sign of a good eatery is a line of cop cars at meal time. I pretty much like every single thing they have and like seeing new specials. My usual is a savory kolache or a taco, and if i'm with someone we'll split a huge cinnamon bun. I like that it's not that overly sweet shopping mall variety. Great staff too!

Oh boy...cinnamon rolls as big as my head! Get there early before they sell out! I let my friends finish out the cinnamon rolls and I got the cherry danish. It was fantastic! The cherries were juicy and yummy and the sweet yeastiness is probably one of the best tasting yeast products I have had in a long time! Can't wait to try and hit them up with my kids!

Central TX native excited to find this joint. It was crazy busy and nothing but sausage kolaches left. Overall, they were ok. The bread was soft with a medium density and a unique flavor. Though it wasn't as light and airy as I'd like. With plenty of kolache experience visiting multiple bakeries in TX, including the greats of West, TX, as well as baking them myself it's great to know I'm not the only one in town longing for a true kolache. I'll give this place another try and hopefully grab some of their fruit filled offerings.

I know it's been featured on food network, etc but I was disappointed in the kolaches and the cinnamon roll. they were only ok. not bad but not stellar. the sausages wrapped in dough were good, but again nothing that makes me want to come back. the thing that does make me want to go back and that I did find exceptional, but no one is talking about, was their breakfast casserole. it was a memorable blend of egg and savory additions that I will continue craving.

We came to Yeast Nashville looking for a pretty quick and easy meal. I got a cinnamon roll (huge and amazing) while my hubby got the sausage and cheese kolache (delicious!). The food was super yummy and the staff was really nice (even after I accidentally hit a glass bottle of hot sauce onto the floor thoroughly embarrassing myself and making a mess to be cleaned up). I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

Cannot argue that the food is great and surprisingly filling. Service was prompt and friendly. The only issue was the lack of sufficient seating inside and no organization to the line you need to wait in to place your order. This place was busy late in the morning, so I would imagine it is just as busy earlier. Hopefully the success of this place leads to a bigger and more comfortable location. Check the menu before you go. This isn't your typical breakfast, but I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Mind = blown. My wife and I are some of those annoying solar eclipse 2017 tourists. We almost went to Sky Blue and once we saw the sea of tourists, we quickly passed and went to Yeast Nashville. Not knowing what a Kolache was I had no expectations. Needless to say, both things we ordered were some of the best tasting things we've ever had. The pot pie was phenomenal as was the cinnamon apple Kolache. This place has something special going on, definitely stop in if you want to treat yourself to an amazing and unique breakfast.

I was sent to Yeast Bakery by a colleague. I live in Florida and was traveling back home. The minute my sister and I went inside we were greeted with smiles. We were explained all about the pastries. Unfortunately we had gotten there a little late in the morning, so the pickings were few. We shared a couple of things and decided we would be back the next morning before we left and headed back to Florida. Bill and his lovely wife Sara said they would save back what we wanted. "Everything good rises in the east" A true statement for this bakery and café in East Nashville. Czech styled pastries paired with expertly brewed coffee or pulled espresso from freshly roasted beans means this place is a home run on any day. I split the cream cheese kolache and breakfast pot pie with a friend, and they were both excellent. The medium roast drip was balanced, and their brevé was a cup of joy. If I lived in the area it would certainly be a regular spot for me. I only wish they had a light roast on drip.
