The food was delicious and as ordered. We had some of the best pizza for lunch today. You can order your own pizza the way you want it or they have several pizzas that they sell by the slice. I would recommend them to anyone in Nashville looking for some delicious pizza. Tell Darryl the guy from North Carolina said hey. I really enjoyed talking with him after we ate.

Very solid pizza by the slice! We were showing a condo nearby and just stopped in out of curiosity, but we were very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I got 3 slices, the pep, the kitty (Nashville hot chicken), and The Meg (white pie). They were all really good, but the Meg was probably the best. The crust was a bit too crispy for me, but it was only because we did the pizza by the slice and asked them to reheat it. I like the corn meal crust and I know it would be better ordering a pizza. That’s what we will do when we go back.

Best Vegan Pizza ever! I had the Build Your Own with the Marinara Sauce, Vegan Cheese, Vegan Pepperoni and Vegan Sausage. I also had the Big Maybelle (not Vegan) with Marinara side . The restaurant is clean,the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, there's outdoor seating and the music selection is good. Will return. Update: I returned and ordered the Earth Mother with Vegan Cheese and a Create Your Pizza(Regular Crust, Classic Piquant Red Mild Marinara, Fresh Mozzarella, Creole Chicken, and All-Beef Pepperoni). Not only the best Vegan Pizza ever, it's the best pizza I've ever had! Additionally, the bathroom was well stocked and clean. They used to have a location in Smyrna, I never got to try that one but maybe it'll open again. I go here weekly but if it was in Smyrna I'd go at least twice a week.

Stopped by for a quick slice while in Nashville and was really pleased with the pizza. My daughter is a cheese pizza fanatic and she loved the cheese slice. My wife and I each had the “Earth Mama” vegan slice. The vegan pizza was pretty solid! They have a pretty incredible selection of vegan pizza available and several other vegetarian friendly options. My only real complaints are the drink selection was not great, the parking situation is rough. Really tight. Someone hit my car in the parking lot, and lastly they only had one of there vegan pies available by the slice. I would of loved an extra option (would of bought more pizza) to sample to know which whole pie I wanted to purchase. Overall a really cool spot with good pizza! I can’t wait to come back and try more.

The creative pizza ideas are so great especially the variety they offer. We’ve tried a few different kinds which all we have enjoyed. The patio is nice during the summer/spring.

This is a pretty good pizza spot. I had the Mel Cooley and a Sicilian slice, my favorite with a side of cajun ranch. The hot knots where massive and really good too. I got 4 slices + 3 knots for $28, it was worth every dollar. I would definitely comeback.

The best pizza I’ve ever had! Not to mention the best vegan gluten free pizza EVER… serve it to anyone without specifying and they’d never know it was vegan or gluten free. The crust was crispy and perfect, the flavors on the v for vegan pizza were sensational! My husby got a “real” pizza as they say, and he said it was also one of the best pizzas he’s had. Fun atmosphere, love the throw backs and vhs tapes. The bathroom needed a little attention, but it was super busy so makes sense, plus if you survived college it’s nothing you haven’t seen before. But overall the pizza itself is really what makes the place so amazing, mind absolutely blown!

I can't believe this restaurant is so close to me, had vegan pizza, and I'd never heard of it or been here before now. There was one vegan option, and I'm definitely not complaining. It was what I needed! I was very happy to have been able to get something with my friends when they needed their pizza fix. As one can probably guess from the bite I took before snapping the picture, I was really happy with my slice. I loved the toppings, vegan cheese (I would guess it's Daiya brand, but I can't be sure), and the crust. I'm mostly so happy that a pizza shop like this one has a delicious option for me. The staff were also friendly! I'll be back again, for sure.

We decided to give Two Boots a try based off the reviews and raves about the gluten free pizza. The reviews were right…it’s the best gluten free pizza crust I have ever eaten. I loved their pizza sauce and sweet sausage as well. There was 6 of us so we ordered the family salad along with a large pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh and homemade. The service from the gentlemen at the counter to the gentleman wiping the tables were accommodating. My husband and I loved the music as well…the classic 80’s. When we visit Nashville again, we surely will order pizza from here again! Great job!

Alrighty guys, just ate pizza here and it was pretty decent. As a New Yorker, I have high expectations and these guys definitely have some of the better pizza I've eaten in this area. The cook on the crust was just how I like it, good crunch to it. Sauce could use some work but over all, not too shabby. One of the cooks even brought out a complimentary cookie for me that made the experience that much better! I would definitely come back!

We love this place! This is our favorite New York style pizza by the slice restaurant. They generally have about eight choices of pizza by the slice and they are all excellent because they have real pizza ovens and they know how to cook New York style pizza. They also have individual cans of beer. This place has been consistently good everytime I have been here. They have a small parking lot just for this restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining areas. Today they had some great jazz music playing through their speakers. Very relaxing!

Solid slice or whole pie option. There is not a lot of decent pizza in Nashville but these are doing it right. They hand toss the pies and they do not use a pizza screen to cook the pizza. That's a huge plus! NY stlye slices and the price is reasonable. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. I happy come here at least once a week while in town.

We waited for 50 min to get our pizza, front desk didn’t mention anything about the wait time. Our friend got slices, and it only took 5 min. They told me they are out of basil after hand me the margarita pizza. And asked me if I want to substitute, I asked for arugula. They are out of it too. I ask the guy what they have, he said they are basically out of everything. I don’t know why they don’t ask me before they cook the pizza. Basil is basically the soul. Good thing my friend went and talked to them, so they give me a slice of pepperoni pizza, because they can’t put pepperoni on my pizza. Pizza is decent, not as good as the New York pizza.

My $100 slice of pizza review! My daughter and I went to Vanderbilt for a long meeting after school one day. We wanted something cheep and fast because it was late, and we were both "hangry". I'm always very cautious with my kids at night and wanted to find the closest parking spot, which we did, and we quickly ran into the building. We happened to park in their very small lot, but closest to the opposite building, which I think was anthor eaterie. We went inside and had the BEST PIZZA ever. I had a slice of the Kitty which is their version of the Nashville HOT chicken pizza. The cream cheese sauce was a great balance with the Chicken that they said was actually from Hattie B's. It had just enough "heat" to it, with pickles on the side. My daughter had a slice of cheese pizza. We enjoyed the music and the atmosphere very much and had a lot of fun. We were in a hurry too, because it was a school night, and left within 30 minutes. Just enough time to get a parking ticket! Two Boots Pozza has really great pizza! Never have I had to pay for parking near Vanderbilt restaurants during the week. My falt for not reading the signs! You will forever be known as the $100 slice of pizza. Unfortunately for that reason we may not be back anytime soon! Parking sucks!

First time trying Two Boots. We were looking for gluten free vegan crust and vegan toppings. We were not disappointed. The crust was very thin and crispy and the toppings were delicious and plentiful! We ordered 3 small and they each had 6 large slices. We had the Larry Tate, the Earth Mother & V for vegan. Yummy!!!!

I have celiac and am sensitive to cross contamination. Ordered a gluten free pie and it looked so good that I got paranoid about it being a regular crust. It wasn't! They put it in a box for me to keep it separate from the regular slice that my boyfriend ordered, which I appreciated. The pizza was delicious and had plenty of toppings. I reheated some later that night and it was just as crispy as when it was fresh. They have canned and bottled drinks and a big thermos of ice water up front. Clean dining area. Friendly staff. There is dedicated parking but it's paid, which kind of sucks, but it IS downtown.

I was excited to come here and try the Nashville location, since I have always loved the New York locations. They were my favorite pizza place for 10 years when I lived there! Unfortunately, this location didn't measure up and was disappointing. The pizza can be a bit inconsistent here, and honestly just doesn't taste as good. The toppings were minuscule. :( But they're one of the only pizza places that stays open late

I recently took a vacation to Nashville many many pizza places we tried a few coming from the York it’s a tough thing to be but I do have to say to boots pizzeria is the best in Nashville absolutely great service the owner was a great guy who even made us a cheesy bread for free because he ran out of there excellent garlic knots if you look in most hotels their menu isn’t even there I found out about it about asking a woman who works behind the desk so we were driving around and ran a crossed it excellent crust excellent pizza excellent service

A bit more disappointed than I’d like to be. I don’t think I was expecting perfection or the best pizza I’ve ever had, but with all the high reviews I saw I expected better. The meatball sliders were the worst. The meatballs were so dry that they were crusty on the sides. Meatballs should never be dry and why not keep them in a marinara bath? The other thing I noticed is they don’t have one single pizza featured with meatballs on it which if they did, it would make it much easier to keep the product fresh by cross utilizing it.

Vegan, V is for Vegan pizza was absolutely amazing! Best Vegan pizza I've had. My family also got the regular half cheese half pepperoni and said it was so good. The employees are great, the owner was really nice and went out of his way to make my daughter feel special for her birthday and gave her a complimentary treat. Will definitely be back next time we're in Nashville. Hopefully next step is Vegan and gluten free pizza. My sister is Vegan but also can't have gluten. We'll be back in September.

Best pizza I've ever had(customer service not so much). When you buy by the slice of the pizza made it's these big New York style slices. With our pizza we ordered it was more traditionally cut, which was a little disappointing. We had 2 types Cleopatra Jones and the Buckminster. By far the best sauce. We usually go to another Nashville pizze place. But this one is our new fav. We drive 56 minutes one way for this pizza. On a Friday we walked in and was able to order right away. The laid back vibe of the place can't be beat! I deducted one star bc the gentleman who started our order made it very clear that our trying to decide was irritating him, them when I let him know we were ready he TWICE looked at me then just stayed in his conversation with a co-worker. When he came back to the counter and I tried talking to him he continued to ignore me. When my husband said so much as that, that he is clearly ignoring me, the guy then spoke and said his female coworker is going to run the register. For his lack of customer service I want to deduct more but I don't want others to miss out on the pizza. So pizza great that male worker needs addressed. He was very rude.

The pizza was good. Crust was thin and crispy. The white pizza (the kitty) was a little dry but still had good garlic flavor. The fennel sausage had a nice amount of fennel in it. My wife got a vegan/gluten free pizza and raved about it being the best she has had. Not 5 stars, but we would eat here again.

As a Vegan who loves pizza this place is absolutely top tier. We had the VCBGB and the Vegan Larry Tate and both were delicious. They use Be-hive cheese which is exponentially better than Daiya. There are 9+ vegan options I think, which blows away the 1-2 you get from other pizza places. If you are vegan please go here.

I would like to begin this review with a warmhearted thank you. My brother was hit and killed by a drunk driver. His passing was incredibly sudden and I arranged for the funeral to just days after his passing since my family rushed into town to honor him and then had to rush home. Well, I placed my order with McKenzie, the manager. I placed an order with maybe 20 pizzas (I was in a daze from all the crazy planning, so I don’t remember, but it was a lot!!). I needed them to be picked up for the service by 1. They had less than one hour to smash out this huge order. Well, they made them incredible quickly. McKenzie was so kind and courteous, he actually delivered them! I did not expect it, but my gosh, it was so thoughtful. They went waaaaay above and beyond. Lastly, I placed the order with one of the online services. He canceled it for me because the service charges approximately 15-20% of what your order is, so order from them directly!! He saved me about 100$!! And the pizza was incredible… If you’re looking for a delicious New York style pizza delivered from some incredible, stand up folks, eat here!! Seriously, you won’t find anything like it.

This was one of the many pizza places on my list to try. It has cornmeal on the crust, so not true NY/NJ style, but was delicious. The person who took our order was a little busy and didn't offer me my receipt (which I wanted). She forgot to give me my cookie (which was delicious) and they were out of forks. The pizza was great overall and reheats nicely. Definitely recommend!

Finding place with great pizza has been a challenge for me. It’s either too much sauce or the pizza is too doughy. Two Boots Pizza in midtown Nashville has proven me wrong. The pizza is baked to perfection and has the right balance of sauce. I ordered spicy chicken pizza and pepperoni margarita pizza. The spicy chicken pizza is Hattie B spicy chicken on white pizza topped with fresh jalapeños. And, this place has dog friendly patio and free refill for sodas.

one of the best places in Nashville to get city pizza by far. If you like big, new york style slices, this is the place for you. I ordered a couple slices of pepperoni pizza and they were delicious. The sauce was a bit thin, but not too much to where it was super noticeable. The parking can be a bit janky on busy nights, but that's about my only criticism.

Every pizza I have gotten from two boots is amazing. The crust has a good flavor and the price is hard to beat. I would choose their pizza any day over the fast food pizza chain franchises. They do by the slice so that's a plus when you're downtown and just want a slice or two. The atmosphere is amazing as well, very hip and clean as well. Definitely recommend you trying them.

Super cool service. Super sweet staff. We deliver food and every experience isn't pleasant. The chef and counter lady were so nice and engaging. It was nice to have a wait be something that was memorable for us. The pizza was just the right amount of greasy, cheesy goodness soaked up by a perfect crust. I'd go back for the service alone honestly, but the pizza is an extra bonus. Not a place I would've gone on my own, but I'll definitely be back with my whole crew in tow.

I purchased 2 pizzas and bread knots. Total (with 20% tip) was $80. Pizza was good, but not $80 good. I don’t think I’ll be returning. Oh ETA: one was a plain cheese pizza and the other had 3 toppings. The knots were so gross with fridge cold marinara that we threw them away. Staff was very polite, though. Not one complaint in that dept.

Ordered a pizza from New Jersey to the vanderbilt hospital. The person who took my order went out of his way to deliver my pizza to my sick grandma, fight through security who said he couldn’t deliver and personally deliver the pizza to my grandma. My favorite pizza in Nashville, hands down. The Kitty and the Tristan are my favorite slices, but I've never had bad pizza here. It's also a very fast meal, a place where you can be out in 15-20 minutes. The place itself is also really great. It supports artists (which you can tell from the decor and outdoor stage) and student groups. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or for lovers of pizza with thin and crispy cruat and fresh and inventive toppings.

Best pizza by the slice in Nashville with a great history, interesting decor (even if your date isn't), and an interesting and tasty rotation of flavors. Sometimes the music is a little loud for my person preference, but they don't play it outside on the covered patio. And, bonus points for being able to make fun of the pedal bars that pass by 5x an hour!

I ababsolutely hate pepperoni pizza. This however was delicious!!! They were very friendly and informative. I had two different slices one was veggie and of course the mind blowing pepperoni. The choices were numerous and change daily. The prices were unbelievably low. I had a bottled soda that was also really good. I would recommend and can't wait to return.

I am very picky about pizza and this is my favorite in Nashville. Every pizza is delicious. Even the combinations that sound weird or not good to me (like fried chicken on a pizza), are actually executed incredibly well. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and prices are good especially for this quality.

This is a review for late night pizza slices. The pizza is fantastic! The dough and toppings are great. Took off a star because you smell like smoke when you leave and they run out of pizza - so your left with whatever is left. Pizza is bomb though.

This place looks so neat from the outside! The inside is tiny & the hipster crew isn't the friendliest. There's no table service, which is fine but I had to reach around & grab my cup because the girl at the counter didn't hand it to me before she called the next person & my friend had to ask for her beer that she assumed would come out with her food. The garlic knots were an odd texture & the only thing special about the pizza is the names. This is a long review when all I'm really trying to say is "eh". 🤷‍♀️

We loved two boots! The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 is because we've only been once when it was slow. The service was quick and friendly. The regular crust is on the thin side, which we didnt mind being from St.Louis but others might. The regular crust my partner got was crispy but not burnt and held up really well. The gluten free crust had a little bit of fluff to it but a nice crispy bottom and a really good taste. They offered many vegan options and the ability to customize. Their house made pestos were fresh and delicious (especially the jalapeno) plus the vegan ricotta was amazing (even my nonvegan partner thought so). The atmosphere was relaxed and reminded us of one of our favorite pizza spots back home. Ultimately, I would highly recommend and hope to go back sometime. Although I can't speak for the by the slice pizza it seemed pretty popular amongst fellow patrons.

The only good place in Nashville to get vegan pizza. It was very good and service was quick and the employees nice. Lots of interesting toppings and cool stuff like jalapeño pesto to try. I highly recommend it no matter what your dietary preferences but if you have a group of friends that are all over the place then you can go here and get something for everyone. They even have a vegan option ready to go normally if you just want to buy by the slice for lunch or whatever.

So, this place definitely has unique pizzas! They are a bit expensive when you imagine buying a slice of pizza, but the slices are fairly large. Their pizza has the tendency to be extremely dry, especially if you get on of their drier ingredient pies like the one that includes Hattie B’s hot chicken (plus on those there isn’t enough chicken). Surprisingly, their vegan pizzas are fantastic. The crust is softer and not dry, and the pesto and veggies are perfect on it! Might be my favorite pizza from this place (and I am not even a vegetarian). Either way, you will enjoy this place, the atmosphere, and the quantity of food.

Really cool place with live music in the evenings! Their pizzas are super innovative-- I would suggest you get the famous "Kitty" (it has hot chicken from one of my other favorite joints-- Hattie B's) and the Cheeseburger one. They always have a vegan option too and sell pizza by the slice (which is only $2.50). The staff are super friendly, the place has a great atmosphere (very funky) and they choose the coolest live bands!

The only warning I would give is that the pizzas including jalapenos (or "Japs" as they show on the menu) are VERY HOT!!!

It is a dive pizza joint that offers NYC pizza. I would claim that the NYC style pizza is on par with the real deal being thqt I have frequented NYC a few times and I feel I have a pretty good idea of it. Not claiming to be a New Yorker. lol. You order by the slice or the pie. The slices are large and foldable. When my friend and I went here for lunch the other day, she had waited a few minutes before I arrived only to find that most of the pies had been out a while and they looked like it. When I arrived, literally one came out of the oven. She said I was the lucky one to bring out new pizza. I do not believe that for a moment, but it sure looked a lot better than the offerings. previously set before us. Pizza is $3 and change per slice. Seating is offered inside and on a patio, but it is limited. I'd suggest getting to-go as a safe bet in the event that it is crowded. We came on a raining and cold day where it was still had a slight crowd.

The food was generally ok. The vegan pizza was pretty good. The restaurant's tables were messy upon arrival. I had to ask to get a table wiped so we could have a clean place to sit. The music was super loud. I had to ask to get it turned down as well. I should have bought two slices... Now it may just be that it was late and I was hungry but despite this I think this is some quality pizza. Also it's made right then and there and so fresh you might feel insulted. Normally I like thick crust pizza or a crust that is soft and not crunchy and this pizza for the bill exactly. Strangely, this pizza would be considered thin crust so that really blew my mind. The toppings and sauce were par for the course as well enhancing the overall pizza experience. I don't regret many things in life but I regret only buying one slice. Every time I go to Nashville I will make my pilgrimage here at Two Boots. Learn from my mistakes and get, at least, two dang slices!
