I swear this place has the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. You get the choice of adding ketchup, hot sauce, mustard, onion and pickle. I always add ketchup, hot sauce and onion on my catfish sandwich. They also have whiting fish sandwiches and they taste just as good. The restaurant is drive through and they only accept cash. Service is great the lady is always patient and kind. Food is cooked to order, please prepare to wait for about 15min.

Bought a fish plate small amount of slaw and spaghetti the fish was terrible it was hard and had been refried in old grease which left the residue from previous fish attached to it black balls of corn meal and the fish wasn't fresh

TJ's BarBQ And Fish service is excellent! I ordered a Fish Sandwhich crispy with fries and I enjoyed every moment. The fish was cooked crispy like i requested and the cashier was very professional. This place is #1. If you are in North Nashville , I highly recommend this place over any other place in the area.

This is THE BEST fish sandwich in Nashville. Hands down. I've lived in Nashville for 30 years and consider myself a fish sandwich connoisseur. I tried TJ's years ago and couldn't really remember much about that experience. I'm so glad I went back. The fish is seasoned so perfectly. Not salty, not bland, it's just right. I went through the drive through and when I opened up the box and broke me off a lil piece of fish I knew I had to park somewhere so I could enjoy it hot and fresh. Every bite was so on point, including the cajun fries. I ordered mine with mustard, pickles, and onion. There was a perfect balance of everything on the sandwich. They put two hefty pieces of fish on my sandwich. It cost me $9 and on God it was worth every bite. I hope they don't ever change their recipe and I'll be back real soon. (I should have uploaded a pic because it was beautiful, but after the first lil piece I didn't have time for pics.)

Hands down THE best fish in Nashville. Their food is so good & I frequent Tj’s BBQ & Fish so frequently that one of the lovely owners remembers by order. The owners of the establishment are very kind. They’ve never gotten my order wrong. I speak with people from around the US all the time & recommend Tj’s for those who want to enjoy this southern delicacy. I recommend the whitening fish sandwich with their home made peach cobbler for dessert.

Three of us shared a fish sandwich, pork on cornbread, 5 chicken wings, turnip greens, Mac n cheese, and fried okra (large portions for sides) for $40. The service was great, the food was incredible, we were all stuffed, and we had some leftovers. We will certainly come back.

Cannot believe I went to TSU for 3 years and never ate here until today. Whiting Sandwich with onion cheese mustard hot sauce on white bread 💯💯✊✊. My car still smells like it and I don't mind at all. The fries aren't the typical knockoff shoestring fries either, more like fresh cut deliciousness. I'm slick trying to figure out how to get back while their open ASAP. There is a little wait, but your food will be fresh. I and everybody that was with me will be back! I'll also will be back with the TSU paraphernalia I promised.

They have won the best fish contest it too many times to count. But their ribs and their BBQ and chicken and turkey leg and Polish sausage and all their sides and desserts are more than amazing. They have chicken wings and they have two kinds of fish catfish and Whiting. I recommend to come to this place but they don't have sit down you have to go to the window and get one of everything

Amazing all the time!! I have ate at many Bar-b-q and Fish around Nashville, but by far Tj's is always outstanding!!!! The customer service is always with a smile and pure professionalism. The food is always made fresh to order and cooked to perfection. But the peach cobbler will make you get out your car and dance. I drive all the way from Murfreesboro TN to eat fish and bar-b-q.

Love-Love-Love Tj's...Infinity x Eternity! Tj's has outstanding service hands down. Their food is always to perfection (taste/preparation/freshness,etc.), not to mention the most friendly,courteous, and professional customer service that is uniquely theirs. I commute about 15-20 minutes (Bellevue area) at least twice weekly for meals @ Tj's...that's how good their food is. Tj's also has the ideal location for any commute. In comparison to other places I've had food service experiences, Tj's is the most phenomenal place I've had the pleasure of visiting...5 stars are not enough to rate this place because I'd rate them by innumerable constellations!!!!!!!
