my food is always good, but the service isn’t always good here. they run though servers very quickly. i have been eating here since the first day they opened and they cannot seem to keep employees employed here. i’ve had a few issues with the management as well as far as bad service goes. other than that the food is good, but do not expect 5 star service all the time when dining in

First time trying this place out. Everything you see was around $70. the seafood was delicious, the bag is filled with juiciness that is like heaven. hush puppies were okay, not worth the $5 spent for them. the chicken was honestly gross and the fires were meh. overall, seafood is the name of the game and they do it good.

I got the juicy special on the crawfish, and it was pretty good. I've never had broccoli in a crawfish boil, but it was actually good. The crawfish came out in a blown up bag which I've never seen before. Some of them were tough so don't know if that's why or not.

Food was very good. Out of all the seafood boils I've had, theirs were the best. The seasoning was on point. Not too strong, balance with each ingredient. I highly recommend this place.

This place is full of flavor! The “juicy” (all together) seasoning is delicious! The service wasn’t the greatest and they double charged my card and had to later refund it, but I will give them 4 stars because the food was A1.

**EDIT 9/29/2021** Prices have gone up since they first opened. About $35 for a combo bag compared to $27 at first. Kind of outrageous. Knocked off a star for this. Taste is still good as usual, but the prices have kept me from coming here as often. - The best seafood joint in Middle Tennessee as of recent. All seafood ranging from snow crab, king crab, blue crab, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, oysters, clams, and so much more. The seasonings are on point being just so savory with their cajun and garlic butter. The best part is that the prices aren't ridiculous like other seafood places. You can get about a pound and a half of seafood for $25-30. The service was great being very friendly and down to earth knowing you're there to get your hands dirty. The space is a pretty decent size and you're able to write on the walls which gives a personal feel to the restaurant. They didn't have their alcohol license yet but I'm sure when they do, this place will be even better. Beer and seafood!! Definitely a place I recommend if you're ever near the Hermitage area. Right off the exit and easy to find right next to Kroger.

Heard there was a new seafood place open in Middle Tennessee. We’re talking all kinds of shellfish, crustaceans, fried fish options, and RAW OYSTERS!!! So made a date with my foodie buddie so we could get our hands dirty. We were seated immediately and started scouring the menu trying to decide what and how to order to get the best sample of the offerings. Our waiter Shawn provided us some guidance and we started off with a dozen oysters. While waiting for the oysters we finally decided on two “Get Your Hands Dirty” with Shrimp, Crawfish, Clams, Green Mussels, Black Mussels, and Sausage. The meal also comes with corn on the cob and whole red skin taters. We both decided on the Garlic Butter sauce at the mild level which was a great choice although there are other options with varying levels of “spice” The oysters arrived chilled and very plump…these were a great deal and very tasty. When the “bags” of dinner arrived we were as happy as kids on Christmas morning. Having the freshly boiled seafood tossed in the garlic butter and Cajun spices in the bag was incredible. You get a bib and gloves, open the bag, and DIG IN! I have to say, everything in the bags was really good and the flavors from the sauce was spot on. A few highlights…the crawfish were huge and provided a lot of meat, the sausage was really good, and the green mussels were some of the best I have had in a long time. You need to break open the red skin taters and allow them to soak up some of the sauce…incredible. As for the corn on the cob…yes corn on the cob…just WOW with the garlic butter and spices. Sarah (the manager) visited our table and checked on us a few times…she was a pleasure to talk to! Shawn provided us great service and on our way out reiterated it was a pleasure meeting us and to come back soon. This type of service, along with great food makes it worth the trip out to Hermitage. There are several other options and combinations to try here. Just letting folks know…not a low cost option for dinner BUT you are getting some delicious food that is very well prepared.

First time at this location and it was fantastic! The Alaskan raw oysters were fresh. The server Desiray was super friendly and attentive. She had no problem bringing out the Harvest Date label I requested which showed less than five days from boxing! The custom combo I ordered of Shrimp, Crawfish and Sausage were prepared perfect as were the accompanying potatoes and corn, Impressed! Will certainly be back!

SO FREAKING DELICIOUS! Tell you what, I’m not typically a reviewer. But me and my bestie stumbled upon this place gassing up at Kroger and 😱 OH MY GAWD 👉🏼 I really, REALLY enjoyed my food.; enough to drive an hour to get there. Environment was oddly and enjoyably conflicting; 😊 Surf & Turf decor, rap music playing, Asian owners with hints of the orient….then came out this MAGNIFICENT boiled style dinner in a oven bag looking all delicious (felt so Cajun). SO GOOD!. Basically… it’s BYE BYE Red Lobster and every other chain seafood place around. The only thing I’m disappointed about is saving my leftovers for my husband. Should’ve made him a bologna sandwich instead

This is my first time eating a juicy seafood and I must say that I was very impressed. The combo with will season down to the potatoes and corn. I’ve never worn gloves to eat my food but it was quite an experience that my family had already had and were amused to walk me through it! Keep up the great work!

Came here with family, the food and spice is just perfect for my taste. The snow crab is my favorite, there is a lot of meat in the crab and big in size. The flavor is there, a lot of sauce, and good portions of food for the price they offer. Spending shouldn't be a problem when it comes to good food, but if you're on a budget this place might not be your best choice. I take my friends here sometimes and treat them, good thing they enjoyed the food. I would come again and order some more crabs.

Used door dash for a delivery order. While you pay more than picking up and ordering via the restaurant website the time from ordering to delivery was less than 25 minutes! That's amazing for Valentine's evening! Shout out to my DDash person, Kayla. Food was delish, and on point.

The food here was so fresh and hot! And the portions was so filling and flavorful that I had to have a to go box and finish it at the house. I had the shrimp broil; it came with shrimp on top of shrimp, the best corn, broccoli, potatoes and a mild seafood sauce that was perfect for my taste long with Tao chili wings and Cole slaw! The menu has so much to offer and cooked your way. They have all kinds of seafood and other regular menu items. I will visit here again! Bring your appetite because your going to be happy when you leave. PS. They serve alcohol, wines and beers!

My daughter and I came here on a whim and it was honestly one of the best seafood experiences we've had! Our waitress, Lanice, was very polite and helpful throughout the whole meal. The meal itself was AMAZING! My daughter got the Red Bomb Special and I got half a pound of both scallops and headless shrimp. Both the meals came with half a corn on the cob as well as some little potatoes. The seafood was well seasoned and we adored the potatoes. Our only wish was that there was some sort of bread or biscuit to dip in the leftover juices. The experience itself was great. It is far more casual compared to Red Lobster. It's a place where you could take your friends for seafood and not feel bad for making a little bit of a mess while eating crab. All in all it was a great experience and we can wait to go back again.

I order pickup and dine-in at this location often. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The customer service is welcoming and friendly. I always appreciate how fast order fulfillment is and the prices are reasonable. During these times of COVID-19, they check your temperature at the door and seating is spacious. The music makes for an upbeat environment and it is always clean which is important to me.

Multiple visits to this location. My elderly mother loves it. It is a bit pricey and portions vary each visit but the taste is always great. This is NOT the location that Randy Santel beat the food challenge.

I for one do not dine on seafood so therefore I cannot give a positive review on the food. We brought our mother here for seafood and thought we would give it a try. Entering the place we were greeted amongst a sea of waiting people and a full dinning room. We were told 30 minutes for 4 people and amazingly it didn't even take 10! The atmosphere is confusing but entertaining. The inside awning the shack panels on the walls with a lot of graffiti on them. We were seated and our server was right there within moments. Coke products for the win! Looking at the menu all I could order was the chicken tender basket. Everyone else had seafood at a rather expensive price. What I was told the quality for frozen seafood was OKAY at best. I thought my chicken and fries were greasy but okay too. Hush puppies were my favorite out of the whole meal. Bottom line fast service, good atmosphere, okay food~

Loved it! I didn't have high expectations going in but we got a combo (shrimp, crawfish, crab) and I had never tried crawfish before. Was a good first experience! My only complaint is that I wish there was more crab involved. They give you bibs crackers etc. You don't realize that trying to grab your drink wearing gloves is a pain. Keep it close to you makes a world of difference! Will go back again!

The food was great and always is. This is my 2nd time there and have not had a bad experience as it relates to the food. However, upon being seated and receiving our drinks the waitress did not return back to the table for 20 minutes to take the order. That was unacceptable. Lastly, the menu and signage throughout the restaurant says that they offer alcoholic beverages; yet, upon request, it was determined that they do not.

The atmosphere was nice, overhead music was enjoyable(took me back to when r&b had soul), interesting though, they had us listening to classic rock the time I went before. Love the mix up! As far as the food, delicious every time. The shrimp and crab boil with medium spiced jucy special flavor is ridiculously good! I also tried some of my families, and everything was awesome from fried shrimp to chicken to oysters. Oh and sweet potato fries. Yum!

I would like to give this establishment a higher rating but the staff makes me want to give it a 1-star. The food is amazing. The smell, taste, flavor, and seasoning of the food is spectacular. I loved every bit of the crab, lobster, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and crawfish. However, when it came time to pay the waitress hastily ran over to the table and opened all of our bills and responded, "Where is the tip?". She did not stop to think that we were giving cash tips. When we explained to her how rude that was, she ignored us.

Food was great with lots of options. More like a seafood broil served to you in a bag with potatoes and corn. You can’t change your sides. Kind of pricey but it was good. Music was a little loud so you had to speak up across the table to someone. They give you gloves and a bib so you don’t get dirty. Not somewhere I’d choose everyday but like once every two months

Do not go here if you're looking for any sort of customer service. When we were seated we were rushed to order right away and when our food came out we were completely forgotten about. The food was alright. Hush puppies were seasoned well. A little over priced for the seafood steam bags. Had to ask a separate waiter for our check. And still had to bring it up to the bar for them to check us out. Probably won't be back till they can get a more structured staff.

My husband and I got a pound of crab legs, half a pound of shrimp, and a half pound of Shrimp for around $30. I thought it was a really good value for what all that we got. We loved the seasoning that we chose-it had a little bit everything and was very flavorful. Be sure to ask for Chef’s specials when you go. I cannot wait to go return !

It's like Joe's crab shack. The service was decent. I feel like the amount of food you get versus the cost is only ok. The flavor was excellent. Clean restrooms too. I may go back if I don't feel like picking up king crab legs from publix and making them.

So freaking tasty. So not wear nice clothes because the only way to enjoy the food is to dinner in with hands and go at it. We ended up getting half pound of the blue crabs and half pound of mussels in medium. It wasn't too spicy but spicy enough to be delicious. Order some hushpuppues to dip into the sauce

I really wanted to love this place. I love great seafood and it is super close to where I live. The seafood was excellent. It is probably the best I have ever had. The decor was fun and vibrant. But, two things were extremely off. One was that there was sooooo much plastic. The boils were cooked in individual plastic bags. I have health concerns about that cooking technique. The table received a bucket for shells and such. It was metal, I think, but was lined with a plastic bag and filled with plastic gloves and bibs. Seems like a business that is dependent on clean oceans to provide it's products, would be careful in it's choices to try and protect the source of it's revenue. The other thing that missed the mark was the service. The employees looked like they were trying hard. But, it felt like that were not properly trained. We waited a long time to be seated. There was not a line. A server walked up and very abruptly asked if we had been helped. She pointed at the hostess to come over. The hostess picked up the menus, handed them to the server, who walked us to our table. Our orders were wrong and delivered to our table without any utensils. It was at least 5 - 10 minutes wait to get something to use to eat our food. Last, the music was great. It was a tad too loud to allow for conversation. But, the lyrics were beyond too explicit for a sit down restaurant. Frequent f-bombs and descriptions of sex acts with terms like p*ssy. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because of the quality and flavor of the food. Otherwise, it would have been only 1 star. Sadly, I will not be back. I would have considered take out. But, it would still be cooked in plastic. :(

Absolutely delicious seafood. I was born and raised on Long Island, loved my seafood. Enlisted in the Navy, stationed in both San Diego and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Loved my seafood, still. This is, by far, the best damn seafood I've tasted anywhere outside my coastal cities. Especially in a landlocked state like Tennessee. I fell in love with the atmosphere, and the food. Not so much the price, but it is WELL worth it. 1/2lbs of black mussels, 1/2lbs of snow crab legs, 1/2 lbs of head-off shrimp, with 2 red potatoes and a piece of corn cob for about $30 is actually not too damn bad. Highest recommendation I can give.

When we get there was not table available 😒..one minute after.. the manager or owner told us our table was but need to be cleaned😬, he and two more peoples start cleaning to fast and our table was ready in 2 minutes 😁😁! My boyfriend and I tried out the catfish basket and a pound of blue crab. Both were very tasty! Loved the atmosphere as well! They let you write on the walls with markers, which is a nice touch. Mineeta took great care of us! Will be back!

Our party of 9 enjoyed wonderful service by our waitress Von and the food was delicious. Our choices included crab legs, steamed shrimp, fried oysters, steamed clams & fried tilapia. We were hesitant because of some of the reviews but we were not disappointed.

Food was good , customer service needs to improve and the online prices do not match what I ordered which was E shrimp lobster tail and crab legs, on line it says 29.99 when I went to pick it up it was 32.99. I had to show them my online order to get it for the 29 dollar price.

Both me and my boyfriend have Previously lived in Louisiana (seafood lovers and very picky) We ordered 6 Medium Juicy Oysters for Appetizer and it was beyond amazing. Both had 1/2 Pound of Shrimp, 1/2 Pound of Crawfish and 1/2 Pound of Crab and all of it was so yummy and cooked perfectly. Also shared 1/2 Pound of Sausage which was perfect as well. Will be coming back very soon! P.s. you will get what you paid for here it's well worth the price tho.

Restaurant has nice vibes with good music. The boils consist of a lot of butter and seasoning..Little work needs to go to the seasoning to make it authentic cajun. In my opinion, has more of a season salt taste.

Having been to Louisiana a handful of times, I know how to eat crawfish, and what good crawfish tastes like. The Crawfish had the perfect texture, and were quite big. The Cajun seasoning it was boiled in was also very good, but the only problem I had was that there was little to no juices actually boiled into & under the shells of the Crawfish themselves. This isn't too much of a problem because you can easily just dip it, but it leaves no meaning to 'suck the heads'. The Crab Legs on the other hand were amazing. I haven't had good crab like that in years. A majority of the legs had sizeable meat in them, but there were few smaller legs containing small meat. Nothing to complain about really. The biggest issue I had was the price to food amount ratio. Seafood is going to be expensive in Nashville, so expect to pay a good amount of money for something delicious, but don't expect to be full. That's what the potato & corn are for.

Absolutely delicious. Best seafood I've had in TN since I moved up here from Florida 11 years ago. Yes you can get seafood in a lot of restaurants in TN but it's all "same ol' same ol" and mostly freshwater (catfish, tilapia, etc). Like I said I'm from Florida. Grew up on REAL seafood, fresh seafood, even would go deep sea fishing and diving to catch said fresh seafood frequently. It's one of the things I miss about Florida. Now I've found a restaurant I can have BETTER THAN SAME OL' RED LOBSTER crab legs, lobster, blue crab, & crawfish - in a casual, family environment (rather than stuffy red lobster). I could've sat there for two hours crackin' crab legs but my party had to leave. Most definitely recommended
