Reviews of Shake Shack Green Hills
Enjoyed my 1000 calorie meal .
The burgers and shake are prepared fresh and was a solid .
We got the buffalo chicken and the shroom burger with the spicy fries and the seasonal shake.
Loved all of it except for the fact that i need to hit the gym for an extra hour to shed those extra calories.
But the best high quality fast food joint for sure .
Heroes work here !
Staff are quick, friendly and best part is they follow all safety standards and covid protocols .
Manager and their desk staff are really understanding and were able to update my order last minute from regular shack burger to mushroom burger which is a vegetarian option equally delicious n filling too.
I would be back with my friends and family soon.
Staff is alwys friendly, love to come here with friends because 9/10 they’ve never even heard of this spot! Rare burger gem in Nashville. Burger & shakes are 10 outta 10.
The food had a nice flavor. It has to be the smallest and thinnest burger I have ever had. I think you could see through it.
Today we (myself and my family)were in the mood for a milk shake. After a few minutes of trying to make a decision, I decided to just pick “milkshake” into the GPS, and just go to the fist thing that pops up. And this was it! Wow! The shakes were amazing! We also decided to eat an early dinner and the food was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place for burgers or shakes!
For fast food, they make a darn good burger and fries here!
I received great service, the line moved fast, the manager checked on me, and the food was fresh. I wasn’t moved by the burger or fries, but neither were nasty. I have been told their chicken sandwiches are better though so I think I will try them next. Overall though it wasn’t a bad experience, the good service helped a lot.
I got a burger and milkshake ( the new seasonal Christmas cookie flavor) and both were delicious!! The staff were a little antisocial and uninviting and the dining space was dirty with lots of little bits of trash everywhere and crumbs.
We purchased a regular hamburger with great, fresh toppings and one mushroom type burger. No pics because we were starving 😂 we also had spicy fries. Everything was fresh, hot without a long wait. Expensive for a burger though. 🤷🏾♀️ …
Burger was delicious! Got the one with pork skins and the flavor was very good. Pro tip: go during the week during off hours to avoid the line.
Update: the burger with the mushroom on it is fantastic too!
Great burgers and shakes, a little pricey for a burger joint but the burgers are delicious. I didn’t care for the milk shake or the fries but will definitely come back for the burgers.
Average all the way across from service to atmosphere. Saltiest smash burger on this side of Mars... The cost outweigh the flavor here
First time eating here. I got the Smoked Shack Double, Fries, and Chocolate Cookies N Cream Shake. Food was really good. Atmosphere is good. Service was really good. Didn't have to wait long for the food. Just expect to wait to order, but not real long.
Good burgers but not up to all the hype. Service was lackluster. Noisy and not conducive to conversation.
First time trying this restaurant and I do recommend it. The layout is not very convenient for long lines but the wait was worth it. Wish it was a little closer to Gallatin we would definitely be frequenting this place more often. The burgers were really good and Iove the crinkle fries. Shakes were smooth and delicious!
First time eating at this establishment. The front counter has was pleasant and helpful. She gave an excellent recommendation about the double smoke stack sandwich. Cheese Fries were decadent... Regular fries would have been delicious. The Sprinkle Cookie Shake was amazing. It is a limited time shake but was a delight going into my mouth and as I savored the flavors hitting my tastefully and down my throat is was an experience that will not be forgotten. So enjoyable! Bacon was not great not sure if it is just the brand... Not the fault of the employees they were more than helpful in trying to fix my needs for week done. I like my bacon crispy and over cooked... Just didn't happen here but no one's fault. The double smoke stack was a filling and juicy sandwich. This place was comfortable and they have tap water on tap. Great food!
Food was fine but noise level was way too high for my low standards. The foosball added to the pain.
Passed the newly opened Shake Shack in Green Hills on my way to the Mall, so decided to give them a try when I was done. Had some high hopes as the line was out the front door, but it moved along at a pretty good pace. Went with the Shack Stack…it is a cheeseburger and a Portabella Mushroom Burger topped with lettuce, tomato, ShackSauce (a mayo based dressing). Also ordered Flat Top hot dog, crinkle cut fries, and a vanilla milkshake. The burger with the “Shroom” added made for an extremely thick burger and a bit difficult to eat. I wasn’t impressed with the combination of flavors so I removed the Shroom part of the burger. The burger by itself was good but nothing special. The Shroom part of the burger, I didn’t care for the breading…that was the flavor that seemed to be clashing with the overall burger. I guess if you are not into meat, this might be a good alternative but it just didn’t do it for me as an option for the burger. The hotdog…I didn’t finish it. Did not like the flavor and it was a bit overcooked and “rubbery”, at least the fries were good and hot. As for the milkshake…it was good but not close to the best I have enjoyed. Overall…not impressed with the quality of the food versus cost of the meal. I dropped $23 on a burger, hot dog, fries, and a shake. Granted…this was in Green Hills but I can think of much better options to drop $23 for a burger and fries. The atmosphere (Foosball and Table Top Shuffleboard) was very cool and the people serving you were very friendly and helpful.
We have had Shake Shack many times in New York and the new one in Green Hills didn’t disappoint! And there is way more seating here so we are loving that with how popular it is. The burgers are great here!
I went in not knowing what to expect, and was blown away. Had a delicious, classic, thin-patty burger with crinkle fries. Food was fresh, flavorful, and offered at a great value! Washed it all down with an awesome coconut mango lemonade - all while enjoying a relaxing vibe with lots of natural light and wood. I'll definitely be back soon.
We love shake shack! Been to this location twice. The line moves fast. Food is delicious. Not as hot as normal, but still fresh and good. The blueberry pie concrete is amazing.
The food is good, but the portions are small. The burgers are about 1/3 smaller than a normal burger.
Buns are toasted perfectly. Very good fresh never frozen burgers. Good beverage selection. (Usually has a beverage of the day).
Have been wanting to try the Shake Shack for awhile, but it is usually too busy for me to stop. Imagine my excitement when I was able to get in today. It may seem a bit pricey, but hey! considering the location it is in-line with the neighborhood. Food is prepared fresh to order, the serving sizes are proportionate to the neighborhood as well, and wow! a very clean dining room.
My review started off at less than 3-Stars because they originally got my order wrong; however, before I could start typing this, the crew began to correct the order, and the in-house Manager came by, personally, with an apology and assurances that it was being made right. Bravo! Shake Shack! Exceptional customer service received and it reflected in your well-earned 5-Star review.
Food was okay, nothing special. I personally think it’s overpriced for what you get. I can tell the soda machine hasn’t been cleaned because taste of my drink was old.
I have eaten the frozen White Castle sliders many a time but never had it in person. I came here with a friend who was visiting while walking downtown for some honky Tonkin. The restaurant was very clean I noticed. However, they were out of almost every drink despite having a freestyle machine (there were maybe 5 options with a few flavors). Some of the options didn’t even have the base flavor available.
The food was good though! So much better than the frozen ones. The staff was efficient and pretty nice for a fast food place. Will definitely White Castle again.
love !!! the burger has an amazing flavor & the fries are the perfect crisp got their strawberry lemonade & i enjoyed it :p
I am kinda disappointed with all the hype about this place I got from my friends. And by no means is it bad but it just wasn't "wow" like I was expecting.
I think everyone has that one burger place that just sings to their soul. For me that was Elevation Burger. And I'm sure that this place lights others people's soul on fire but it was just ok. Not amazing.
For $30+ dollars we got 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks. I thought the best part of the meal was the fries. They were crispy and well salted. The burger was on the smaller side but was filling. It had a very mushy texture I think and not a ton of flavor. I just wanted some crunch of lettuce or a good tomato but everything was just kinda limp.
The restaurant was very clean and the manager was very attentive.
Great food. Took a bit to get and it seemed like the girl was kind of rude, but overall great place.
Did was decent, but a little on the expensive side for the amount of food and size in all honesty. My husband got the truffle burger that looked more like a slider and I ate the mushroom burger and it was good but they don't take into consideration gf when it's fried.
fast food, friendly service and fresh cooked,. the hamburger patty's are similar to steak n shake, but way fresher and the garnishments are fresh and the buns are better quality. Fry's and shake are great. Will definitely return for a quick bite when in the area.
Great food fast and Antoinelle was great at helping us learn about the menu options.
One of the best tasting hotdogs I have ever eaten, however the texture was a bit rubbery. For a drink, I ordered the 50-50. I expected an Arnold Palmer, but was sadly disappointed when I was actually drinking 50% Arnold Palmer and 50% water. It was extremely diluted, lacking in sugar, and overall underwhelming and sorely disappointing. Good service and good food. The fries were sub-par.
Wonderful, was given free lamborhini and I met Lebron James and Elon musk for lunch
Great crispy burger and one of the best Hotdogs I've had in a while!
Friendly and lots of seating. Order could come out a lil quicker but they seem to get very busy at prime time so it's understandable.
Why is everyone so nuts over these burgers? Shack sauce is way too mayonnaisey and they need to toast the buns. I really would like some grilled onions in there too. Feels so basic as is. Disappointed.
I spent $6 on the basic shake burger and it was one of the best $6 I've ever spent. The food is well crafted, and made with care. The ingredients are high quality and the service is fast.
We went Fri, 5-21-2021 . Everything was great. The lady who took our order I wish I knew her name was so friendly and helpful. Since this was our first time, Jeremy the manager went out of his way to make a stop at our table being helpful . Opening a new one in Cool Springs soon. I thank the corporation for the fries when we showed our vacations shots. The employees will not ask because of political reasons. I went on their web site and read about the free fries. I will go BACK. Thanks to all employees.
My first time definitely exceeded my expectations. Cashier was helpful when I was ordering...with recommendations. The single hamburger...I know it sounds simple but it was cooked to perfection. And that soft bun didn't get soggy from the juicy burger. Now I know why people rave about this restaurant. Excellent!!
It was good, line wasn’t bad outside. Burger was a bit greasy. Fries was nice. Very fast.
It is definitely worth it! Avoid the wait and order from the app! Although the line is long in the pic I took, we ordered on the app for a 6:30 pick up....we were seated and eating at 6:35!
The restaurant looks nice, the staff was nice, and the shake was good. However the food is way overpriced! If I ever return it would only be to get a shake, but there are better places to get one of those.
Ah Shake Shack, how I've visited you so many times in NYC. I'm glad you're in Nashville, my own stomping grounds but you are so far away.
The good thing is that you are everything that I remember. Great burgers, excellent crinkle cut cheese fries, and delicious shakes.
My only problem is that it took about 20 minutes to get my food. The only difference is I had a shake where my friend did not have a shake. So I'm not sure why it took 20 minutes to get a shake but I still love you.
I have been to Shake Shack a number of times, mostly in the Chicago area. This location in Nashville blew them away. Burger was great! Not too messy, and great flavor! Cookies and cream shake was a great ratio and consistency! The service was prompt even with a busy Friday crowd. The restaurant space was clean, music wasn’t too loud, bathroom was well stocked and clean. Truly a great experience! This staff deserves some recognition($)!
Pricey, but the food was pretty good. We ordered through the app and even though the dining room was COMPLETELY full and the line was out the door, we waited less than 10 minutes for 3 full orders. The bag handles are a little weak, especially considering we had 3 burgers and 3 orders of fries. And they don't wrap the food up when you order to-go. The fries were just in an open container and the burgers had parchment paper on them, but they weren't closed up in any way, plus the bag couldn't be folded down to keep the food warm either. We paid ~$40 for burgers and fries for 3 people. It wasn't bad food, but I don't see myself going back for something I could get cheaper elsewhere.
I’m giving a 3 star because I expected more but didn’t get that. For starters customer service was nice there was a wait but only because its the weekend places like these are always busy. The man even apologized for me waiting. I ordered hot cheese fries and hot chicken bites. Even though I knew the food was fresh I was still pretty disappointed. The cheese tasted like it came from a cheese wiz can and the cheese had been sitting out. The fries tasted like they were over cooked and the chicken bites didn’t have enough seasoning. Definitely save your money though I just dont like the combination of good customer service with nasty food.
Visited Friday night while I was doing shopping around there. Burgers are cooked to order so when we got burger, it is hot juicy and fresh. Dining area is very big and don’t feel crowded at all. It seems to me that one staff was just for cleaning table. She was standing at the corner of dining area, and as soon as customer leave table, she approaches and cleans.
Amazing shakes! Really long wait times though. Employees definitely seem overworked, and long wait times are a cause for concern in regard to social distancing.
I was across the street around lunchtime, trying to get help from Verizon. It was the day after Christmas and everyone was dealing with issues resulting from the explosion downtown. Ran over to get lunch, and of course, it was super busy. The lady that took my order was so friendly and so nice. Everyone in the kitchen was super efficient, super quick....all over it. I saw the manager on duty handle an issue with a customer, and he went above and beyond. In the face of such intense business and craziness, every employee stayed calm and professional. The girl that handed me my order was as sweet and personable as she could be. I know it was a hard day, and I just wanted to say...THANK YOU
Very tasty quality beef burgers. Unfortunately, they often forget the cheese for cheese fries in my to go orders as well as mix up my drink orders.
Burger, fries and shake were very good
And the employee that brought my food to me at the table turned out to be the Manger Kayla B.
I had a Wonderful experience !!!
First time eating here. Shakes were fairly good, the burgers were small and of decent quality, and the fries were a bit dry. It was still good, but not as I had expected.
Overall opinion: decent food quality for a higher price than the quality is worth.
Shake Shack is one of my favorite places to eat in Nashville. Sometimes you just want a good burger, fry, and shake combo and Shake Shack serves up some of the best. The staff is very friendly and the location is amazing. Due to COVID-19, you get pre- packaged cups of ketchup, and I assume most other condiments, so that might rain on your parade if you really like ketchup.
As far as the food, the frozen custard shakes are 10/10. The crinkle fries are 12/10. The hamburgers are a solid 8/10. The chicken hot dog is a 6/10.
I wasnt impressed with the hamburger, kinda small but on par in price with other trendy hamburger joints. My son liked his milkshake. The 2 of us had 1 cheeseburger each, 1 fry, 1 shake 1 coke. 24 bucks
We had a Shake Shack near our house back in NYC so we were pumped to hear that Nashville had one. It’s not close by but we wanted some of the goodness we remembered.
Now the food was just as good as we remembered. However it definitely didn’t You’re not gonna be in the lobby right you get back OK do not take your shoes off over the bags it’s gross man that’s gross put him on the floorcome out fast. We saw three employees just hanging out in the back chatting. The ones up front were quick and friendly.
If you’re really hungry expect to wait. It was worth the wait in our opinion but it’s not fast food at all. Hopefully they will learn to pick up the pace. I mean the place was crowded either but there’s hope.
Good food and good service! The burger and fries were delicious and the shake was so good!!!
Lazy workers, extremely lazy.
Thankfully a good manager made it right! :) Otherwise would have been 1 star.
The company did follow up and offered compensation which was appreciated. Moved review to 4 stars.
First time SS eater. Got the classic double. Good burgers although the wait time at this location belies the fast food moniker. Understandable for Green Hills. Burgers are similar to Five Guys, though I prefer the customization offered by FG(grilled jalapeños!). FG fries are also better. Will come back to SS for the shakes and probably the smokeshack.
Waited for order at least 20-30 minutes. Had to make 2 corrections before we left store. All food was overcooked. Hot dogs were just burnt. Strawberry lemonade was delicious.
I used to eat at Shake Shack all the time when I lived in D.C. and loved it. I think they had only a couple of locations at that time. I hadn't eaten there in several years and got a craving for a smash burger, so tried this location. The staff were friendly and the service was fast enough, but the flavor of the burgers wasn't as tasty as I remembered. This location is also very crowded, and the order-ahead app said the location was permanently closed, though they had signs up advertising the app. A little pricey for what you get.
Great food, happy friendly people but kind of high priced $24 for two single burgers and 2 drinks. Atmosphere was great but lack if seating unless you want to sit out in the heat. Very clean and eclectic decor with the reclaimed bowling lane tables
Ordered through the mobile app with a pickup time of 6 on 3/5/21. The app says you will receive a text when your order is ready. I never received such a text. The girl at the pickup counter nonchalantly told me my order wasn't ready yet, so I waited. And I waited some more. The app switched my order to finished. I asked the same girl if she had my order showing her the completed order in the app. She said she would look. I waited some more. I asked again, she talked to another customer after asking my name again. I went to the front counter after giving up on this girl. The guy running the front register actually seemed to care, found my order, had it remade since it was old, and got it to me in 3 minutes. At 6:40 I finally walked out the door with my 6:00 order.
Update 3/19/21: We gave them another try tonight. Still no text from their system. The order was late, but the manager communicated well and gave vouchers for free burgers for the trouble. Food is pretty good, and I do like the shakes. It's a little overpriced in my opinion.
Food is always on point and courteous staff. Highly recommend if you're in the area of Green Hills and want a quick burger that is hot and fresh with a good milkshake😋
Would be five star. Took away one because of the cost. We came on Saturday at lunch time. It was busy. Long line and about 45 minute wait. An associate came through the lines informing everyone of a machine being down in the kitchen which is the cause for the delay. The staff was friendly and courteous nonetheless and everyone in the kitchen was working hard. We did receive the wrong shake out of two but they were both tasty so it was forgivable. The cost for shakes was a little too pricey. You’re talking nearly 6 bucks for a medium standard size. The burgers and fries were just okay. I was definitely underwhelmed. The food wasn’t bad or anything. The meat was fresh and the buns were nice but I had a shack burger which is a cheeseburger but they put bacon on it and I don’t remember seeing that in the description. It just added too much saltiness to the burger and the shack sauce just tasted like mayonnaise, which essentially is an underdeveloped burger sauce. I enjoyed the fries more than the burger but to me that says something. I definitely think your entree should outdo your sides. They weren’t greasy or salty but just regular crinkle fries. I think the ‘high-end’ burger joint vibe is a bit overrated and a cash cal since it’s in the middle of the mall complex. I just wouldn’t spend the money next time for something on the same level as some other fast food joints you’ll find nearby for half the price. I know shack shake is kind of a hip trend so if you really want to have that experience then I wouldn’t discourage from trying it but just don’t set your hopes to high as far as what you’ll put in your mouth.
Shroom burger and fries with a Cran Citrus Lemonade to drink! Delish!
Shake and burger was A1 loved this restaurant. Food was hot 🔥 and cheese/bacon fries were the bomb 💣!!! Will definitely visit this place again!!!
Good burgers, but a tad bit salty. Crinkle cut cheesy fries were three best part of the meal. Milkshake was fine, but not exceptional.
The food was delicious! The chicken sandwich and burgers were cooked very well and quickly. The wait was worth it! The only complaint I had was that there wasn't enough seating to accommodate the amount of people there. Despite that, I am glad we came here and will definitely be back.
Fries are great here and burger was fire. I also got a black sugar milk shake just be warned they are really really sweet. Otherwise this place is pretty good (:
Great tasting burgers and nice service.
Consistently good, we love to come here as a treat. :-)
Both the manager, Jessica, and the cashier Antoinette, were incredibly kind 😄 When we had an unexpected problem with our debit card & were about to leave hungry, Jessica comped our order! I am floored and humbled by such generosity from a stranger. Also the food & especially the chocolate Concrete was delicious. It was our 1st time here, they have earned two new loyal customers.
This is a place where you can get a quick snack and be in and out in about 30 min.
Plenty of drink options.
The service was generally not the greatest. The mixed my order with someone else's and had to redo both. The prices were extreme for food that was lukewarm. Would highly recommend Culver's due to better service, food, and pricing. My whole meal for two at Culver's cost the same as a burger and a shake at Shake Shack for one. Also, the fries are not included and cost an extra $2-3.
Krystal was wonderful, an amazing asset to this company and restaurant. She went above and beyond for our table and others around us the whole time we were there, she’s a rockstar! Food is always a 10.
The food at shake shack is good, but the service at this location stinks. I often order via the app and they are ready at the time I ask about 10% of the time. Usually it's 10-15 minutes late. Pretty inexcusable.
Firstly, the burgers are good. Not great, mind you, but good. And if you're an Instagram foodie, they're probably the most photogenic burgers around. I consider texture/quality of the meat most important in the art of burgering, followed by seasoning, then assembly/presentation. For me, gristle in a burger is the biggest foul, and one of the easiest ways to gauge meat quality. If you aren't familiar, gristle is usually connective tissue left on poorly butchered beef before it's ground. It results in something unsettling that your teeth kinda bounce off of, rather than chew. The more you encounter this during the meal, the more joy it subtracts from the experience. I think I hit gristle about 5 times on my "Double Smoke Shack", and my ideal burger would be more like 0-1 times. Maybe I'm picky, but the quality didn't impress me. It was cheesy, and the bacon was good, but there was not much detectable seasoning, with most of the flavor coming from the pickled peppers they put on it. Still a decent burger and sure, it was beautiful, but not 5 stars. Fries are crinkle fries with little special about them, but they're ok too. I had the tiramisu shake, which I highly recommend. That's it... a double burger, fries, a shake: $21. I don't think the price and hype are really justified. That's saying something, because I'll pay $6 and tip $2 more for a good coffee. One of their big hurdles is also the flow of the place. People are waiting around for their food, trying to access drink stations, getting all their condiments, and picking up orders in basically one spot. It gets really jammed up, and ruins their feng shui. Then there's the parking... ok, I'm done. Not a bad spot, but you can get better burgers, in better ambience, more conveniently, and for less money. I'd give them a 3.5 if I could, but since I tend to round up when forced, they get a 4.
I'm not a big fan of fast food, but SS is one of my faves. I don't eat beef, but their chicken sandwich is (fried and) delicious. I also like their concretes. I'll have to try the lemonade next time. So glad I found Shake Shack here in Nashville!
I was ecstatic when I heard that Shake Shack was coming to Nashville. I always visit Shake Shack at least once whenever I'm in New York, and I couldn't believe they expanded here. This location always has friendly, quick service, and I think they've done a great job of adapting an NYC restaurant to an area that is definitely not NYC. Delicious shakes, burgers, and fries--what more could you want?
So a caveat: I lived in New York near Madison Square Park when Danny Meyer opened Shake Shack, and I became a fairly regular customer. Then the lines started to snake around the sidewalks to the edge of the park, so I used the webcam (remember those!) to check the line before the short walk over. Now here is the Shack in Green Hills. First, this was the second day it was open, but that didn't seem to diminish the food quality. The line was probably about 20 minutes during the high noon lunch rush on a Friday. That ain't bad at all. The food was good, OK, it was pretty damn close to what I remember from New York: shackburger and fries. Love both of those! The concretes were different (from my memories) but as a shake, it was delicious. I recall a mixed peanut butter/chocolate concrete that I had to use a spoon to eat, as it wouldn't go through a straw. Still, I really enjoyed the shake. Big thumbs up!
Shake Shack gave me a great first experience. Greeted as soon as I walked in the door from a friendly face. I tried the smokeshack burger and it was delicious. French fries were ok. Crinkle cut isn't my favorite. But overall, a good experience. Will try again.
Long but reasonable wait given the crowd - 2 burgers, hot dog, 3 small shakes $42 only slightly high given the yummy factor.
It's in the shi shi section of town so plenty of overdressed and several under-clothed (but nice enough to look at) people there.
Get the app and order ahead / awesome feature.
Shakes 7/10
Food 8/10 (burgers pretty awesome)
my first visit... happy to see management enforcing covid19 guidelines in references to mask wearing and constant and immediate sanitizing practices. service was great and the burgers were amazing. this is my 8 year old granddaughters favorite
Dear Shake Shack. I wanted to like you. I really did. Your cool vibe that I would see as I drove to Whole Foods. The constant line out the door. The patio, inviting me over. But, at 8pm on a Saturday night, when we arrived at the counter that only had one register open despite said line, you were out of custard. That means no ice cream cone, no concrete, no milkshake. NO. CUSTARD. Disappointed after walking down from the movie theatre, excited to try a new place, we placed our food orders. $50.00+ for 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks. I'll admit. The lemonade was great. But, the crinkle fries in a city where hand-cut fries are on every corner, plus the small (thin) burgers...well, they were ok. I do appreciate the non-GMO potato rolls (well, the family did, I had my burger wrapped in lettuce). I do appreciate the aspect of giving back. I won't say I won't eat there again, but for a family meal, we'll drive over to Farm Burger or M.L. Rose. Same pricing, better food. The only reason this is a 3 instead of a 2 was the friendliness of the staff.
They were super packed but very diligent my order was perfect. Came out fresh and the staff seem so calm and collected even tho it was so much going on
Food was great, but the store seemed severely understaffed and there was an issue communicating with customers about when their food was ready. Pagers were issued but not being used, and with calling out names, it was very difficult to hear much past the pick-up counter. The employees were working hard but unable to keep up with demand.
Burger was good, lemonade was good. Custard tasted more like ice cream, not custard. My biggest complaint is the fries were not hot. Line did move quickly.
Tho their brand sounds a bit hokey, the food is really quality. Fried portabella mushroom stuffed w cheese, on top of a fantastic angus cheeseburger w tomato +special sauce on a potato bun! The staff goes whatever mile is necessary to fulfill your requests. BUT 2 days in the last week when I went for a shake- shake machine was not working. Come on SHAKE Shack! In a 90 degree heatwave we want a shake.
Shake shack has good shakes I personally like there burgers best first shake place have coffee as a shake flavor. It's a sit down fast food place although you have to eat outside or to go right now there is no drive through
They ran out of vanilla custard at noon :( so not a lot of shake choices! But they still get 5 stars for flavor! Chick'n Shack, Shack Burger, perfect!
The burgers are small so make it a double if your a eater like me i ordered the bbq one and enjoyed it. I also tried the chicken nuggets and fries they have a weird grease after taste to them not impressed.
The food doesn't match the price. My husband had the shack burger with fries and medium lemonade. I had the hot chicken sandwich with cheese fries and medium lemonade, both sandwiches were slider sized which cost over $30
Totally gets the job done, and the table shuffleboard and foosball are a fun touch. Side note: my wife who has Celiac said it's the best gluten free fast food burger she's had. So that's something.
I tried the burger with pork rinds. It was fine, but prob won't get it again.
Absolutely delicious and even when they are close to closing service was great.
Pretty busy place but not that bad of a wait. Got the Oreo funnel cake shake and it was 10/10
My first visit to a Shake Shack. It was very good. Food was fresh, hot, excellent drink options. A little expensive but it was excellent.
Excellent food which is the top priority. Burger and fries were both exceptional. They use healthy beef. Happy service. Super fast mobile ordering. So HAPPY THEY'RE FINALLY HERE!!
Food was tasty and I was so excited to finally try it since we dont have these where I live. But honestly, I spent 20 bucks on a burger, fries and a drink. And it was good, but not 20 dollars for a meal good.
Just had my braces adjusted so this was the (soft) lunch of champions! Any time you can include wine and a shake in the same meal sitting is a win! Awesome service as expected.
This is my comfort food. They work hard to provide a consistently pleasant experience. Love the smoke shack and the spicy cheese fries when they had them.
We stopped in about an hour prior to them closing at night.
The atmosphere was great, the food was AMAZING and the entire staff was even better !!!! Everyone working there at Shake Shack was so helpful and should train others in this industry their style, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm !!!
I highly recommend Shake Shack to everyone, we will be back again, at least once, in the next day or two !!!
Everything was great! The only wish is when getting the bacon fries, the would bacon on first and distri use a little cheese. Loved it just hard to eat.
A little disorganized but the restaurant is still really brand new. Food itself is worth the price, especially since shake shack only uses cage free, hormone free, antibiotic free meat. Shakes are a little melted.
My grandson & I enjoyed the food a lot, the foozball even more, & the milkshakes made it a perfect lunch!
My order was barely messed up (I didn't plan on saying anything since it was still good) and a manager walked by and asked how it was. Told him it was messed up but I was happy. They made me another burger right away to fix it. Service was excellent.
Foods probably awesome. Smells good in here. But i stood there getting told to place my postmates order (not pre-ordered) at the register then having them tell me to go to the pickup area and back and forth and then they forgot about me I guess, so I had to cancel because the staff have no clue how to deal with a Postmate order apparently. If you're ordering from Postmates, please do us a favor and PRE ORDER IT. it makes everything so much faster and easier
Burgers taste good and the shakes are yummy. The fries were perfect! A bit pricey for a small burger, but I would do it again.
I think people fail to realized Shake Shack and ButgerFi are the only two burger chains that do not use antibiotics in their meat. The price is more than fair and the difference is in the taste. Enjoy!
The staff wasn't friendly, and the food was mediocre.
Not for the calorie/grams of fat, carbs counter....but if it is cheat day-game on! The best crinkle fries with cheese...they are not greasy! I think they're airfried?I've been told - best shakes ever. I haven't had one yet because I am a calorie/fat/carb counter. Next cheat day!
I didn't get a picture of my portabello burger because I was too busy enjoying it. Service impeccable and I loved the recommendation of pickle on the portabello. Pie oh my concrete shake was delicious and love the cause it donated to.
It was a challenging day for them with one grill being down but they still provided a great experience even though delayed. The employees were very helpful and seemed to have control of a less then ideal situation
It's... okay. I've found that price wise and quality, the two Hugh Baby's locations are better as well as Hopdoddy in Hillsboro Village. If you've ever wanted to experience the NYC/LA experience of the shake shack, then by all means go, but there's other better options out there.
I can't say anything about it but they had a sign stating it was closed until the 17th. I wish we knew that before driving out there. Maybe a Google update letting people would know would be great being the area is kinda busy just to get to you. Looking forward to eating here as that would have been my first time.
Fantastic food.
My colleagues and I go here about once a week because the prices are reasonable and the food is terrific.
It's all good! We have tried evwrything and have never been diappointed.
Didn't have shakes, didn't have any coins for change. The food is good, but I tried getting a shake a few days later and still no dice.
Good food. Awesome shake. Definitely cost more than I thought it should.
American standard fare. Good food ✌️
The food was impeccable, and there was a good amount of maintenance, especially for a pandemic. The prices are reasonable. Would most definitely go again!
Burger and everything on the menu is fresh and tasty. You pay a premium for their quality. Service is quick for the high volume of guests.
Just ate for the 1st time through Grubhub. Burger was great! Fries were some of worst I’ve ever had. The price was definitely on the high side.
Honestly, the food here is great, but I always have a tummy ache afterwards, regardless of how much or little I eat. My wife and I return here every year to celebrate our first date.
Lived in NYC where Shake Shack was founded and ate there countless times. That said, this particular Shake Shack was by far the best I've ever had. The double Smokeshack was fantastic!
I love the shake shack in Miami. This location was cool nice staff. Not sure what the fobs are good for your name is still being called for order. But not a bad experience.
Great burgers and fries
I went with the ShackBurger. Nothing to write home about.
Fries aren’t the greatest.
Great location with nice shopping options in a clean and welcoming area. Friendly staff and plenty of seating. Shake Shack always has great food but it is a little pricey.
Loved the Shake Shack burger, w cheese fries and the milk shakes are very good
First time trying it. It's ok, have had better quality for a much more reasonable price, definitely not worth the 30 plus price tag for lunch. Definitely wont come back unless I win the lotto.
Get ready to stand in lines. First to order, second to get condiments and soda, third to get your food.
Once your order is placed you enter the world of disorganization due to the condiment and soda area being
very small and squeezed into a corner. Also be prepared to babysit someone else’s children they are flying around the place unsupervised. The burger was average, but then this is a kids place stay away for dinner.
Shroom Burger is best vegetarian option at ANY burger joint!
Initially I was skeptic of this new burger place. The burger quality surpasses many other big name chains like McDonalds, Wendy’s, BK and many others
I feel like this is what fast food burgers were in the 50s. For the price and fast casual food, this was great. Good fry on the chicken. And the burgers were enjoyable!
I forgot pics. The chicken nuggets were delicious--tasted like a tempura batter. The burger and fries really good too.
The food was very tasty. But it was a little over price for what it was. The atmosphere was very modern. Overall would go again.
Burgers are some of the freshest burgers that I've ever had the chicken was some of the freshest chicken I've ever had even down to the lemonade and fries the only reason I gave them before was because I had to wait 30 minutes
Food was good but they didn’t give us what we ordered. They also were trying to rush us out. It’s worth trying but I would go during the day not night.
Some of the best burgers around, the prices are a little high but are justified by their quality. I have not gotten a beer there and likely would not because of their sloppy pour.
Great burger. Definitely
Burgers are delicious! I hate that they don't take cash, I took a trip and I arrived there with hungry with only cash! made me upset!
The food was good, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The burgers were super small. It also gets expensive for what it is.
I got some bacon fries and a shake both where great
Shake Shack has the best milkshakes ever!!! Their food is a little heavy, but overall delicious.
Really enjoyed this place. Great environment and the people who work there really care and go out of their way to help you. I would definitely recommend this place too many of my friends and I would like to come back again very soon.
Over rated, expensive steak n shake burger. Yes I mean steak n shake. They have good burgers and way cheaper than this place.
Super busy, but they still get you your order fast and accurate. Their chicken is fantastic.
Need to come back and try a shake. Burger was middle of the road. Service was very friendly. Great atmosphere. Very clean facilities.
It was super busy but still got our food in a timely manor. The employees all had on mask. The food was AMAZING.
The food is great, aka classic Shake Sack. But I've encountered extremely long waits for food sometimes. Service is also hit or miss at this location.
Good burgers and shakes. A little overpriced but I believe you are paying for taste, not size here.
A good burger, but a bit overpriced. $10 for a burger and a drink is a bit pricey. Can go to a restaurant and get one cheaper with a side
If your looking for a nice juicy unhealthy burger this is the place for you!! I usually get a shake with my meal and never disappointed!
This is probably the largest SS I've ever been to.
Great chicken sandwich, chick 'n shack
Fun place! Great location. Easy to find parking, lots of shops nearby. Great food! Fresh & flavorful! Friendly staff.
Food was great, but the prices are crazy. For a Burger, Fries and a Milkshake it was over $20
Great food and customer service!
Really tasty burgers, but they’re a little overpriced. Atmosphere is cool and food comes out reasonably quickly.
I must have been locked in an alternate universe in which the concept of more than two packets of ketchup for a cheeseburger and fries was impossible to fully bring to fruition.
The chocolate pudding shake was delicious and the shack sauce adds a nice zing to a burger
First visit ...hope it won't be my last. Love the bugers and milkshake.
Great service and The food was good, but it wasn't alot considering the price.
Can’t say much for the customer service here..
Food was good and service as expected. Minimal wait despite being in a popular spot.
They messed up my order and made me wait a while.
Awesome shakes and burgers. Prices are a bit high for what you get, in my opinion.
Yummy!
Food was delicious. Smaller portions than other gourmet burger places for the price.
I was really surprised by how much I liked it...assumed it was overrated. But no, it's Well Worth going when there is no line (better yet, order through the app and skip the line all together)
The menu is the most basic options possible. The burger was good
Really good food but don't expect to come out cheap. You can get really similar food a lot cheaper at a few different places.
Excellent burgers! Not the cheapest, but you pay for good quality.
Definitely worth the wait!! Super consistent and tastes just like the locations in NYC. Quality is always top notch and worth the price.
Never disappoints. I hear the chicken sandwich is good, but i can never deviate from a burger.
The double burger was delish but the serves was not good. The custard was good.
Great burgers!
So glad to have this place on our turf—-their shakes and burgers are beyond legit! Go stop by and see what the hype is really all about. 😉👍🏻 …
Burger was pretty good! Milkshake was awesome. Little pricey, though.
Quality ,service ,and product were great, but was it worth 19.00 for a
double hamburger, fries and shake????? No !!!
HOLY SCREAMING CHILDREN. Take it Togo. Food and service is always great. Way too family friendly for me to dine in
Great burgers but c'mon. The world of $40 burgers and fries is not a world I am a fan of.
Shake shack is amazing, just go.
Stopped in for lunch, great burgers and shakes.
Food was amazing! Great customer service. Will definitely visit again!
I was visiting nashville for mothers day and my daughter and i ran across this hidden gem in greenhills Will be back!!!! Great food and shakes!!!!
Always delicious, unfortunately they Don't do their chicken on a stick anymore though
I love this place but was very disappointed today that they were closed for maintenance. Makes more sense to do maintenance at night after closing time so you don't lose business.
Great fresh burgers but expensive for what you get and everything is ala carte
I love to eat here and to be part of it.
Very proud serve my guests
Smoke shack is unforgettable
Good burgers. Super busy, but good family environment.
Good food really like the cheese fries... Kinda pricey for what you get...
Great burgers, carefully prepared. Don't be in a hurry
Amazing food, they have a great bathroom to do coke in
the manager was super nice and helpful. the food was good.
Shake shack is fantastic. I regularly drive from Donelson to eat here.
Good food and interesting atmosphere but very expensive for moderate portions
Busy busy place good food fast service hard to get a seat though would go back definitely
Love this place. Just a really good burger and milkshake.
Nice friendly staff. Quick service.
Plenty of seats.
Food is really heavy and just okay. Not a fan of their shakes either.
Overpriced for the amount of food you get. It's good but not $3
Food was ok. A little pricey for what you receive
Waš good service
Great food at a nice price, exceptionaly clean too!
Food is good but they’re slow af
Our favourite burger joint before going to regal movies green hills
Great burgers. Fast service. Not a great location for conversations
Great burger . I loved the Shack Stack
OMG THE FOOD IS AMAZING
Food mediocre. Beef tasted like a pan-fried burger u make at home
So glad we finally got a Shake Shack in Nashville. Great burgers and shakes.
We came in just for shakes -- the people were friendly, the service was fast and the shakes were thick. What more could you ask for!?
Save yourself the expense for crinkle fries. Flavorless and dry.
Just wanted to give the first 5 star review. Grateful they are here! So good.
Good burgers at reasonable prices.
Excellent food. A tad pricey for what you get, but it is yummy
It's as good as the hype suggests. You will wait in line, and it will be worth it. Yum to the max.
Long lines, slow service, food packed with empty calories. Other than that it’s fine.
More fast food oriented than expected. Very loud and crowded.
Superior to the usual fast-food burger, although correspondingly more expensive. And they have beer!
Food is great and service was speedy!
Shake stack! Always excellent!
Burger was different, chicken bites not so good, just crunchy
Good but expensive
Great burger and fries. Cool location in Green Hills.
I got some bacon fries and a snake both where great
Great food, but on the expensive side for a burger & fries!
Amazing place food and shakes are delicious
Soooooo good! So happy to have Shake Shack in Nashville.
Great Shake Shack! The staff is super friendly!
Taste little different from others but great place to eat
Foods decent enough. The shake made my day.
Good Burger & well cooked crispy fries
Small, overpriced portions. However, foods delicious.
Fresh Ingredients and delicious. Simple menu
Absolutely fantastic place to grab a burger and fries!
Food is AMAZING...a little to expensive for me to go alot tho 🤔 …
Best burger in middle tn by far!
If you are in Green Hills you don't want to leave without visiting this place.....
Always good.
Good food and service.
Love the place. Cherry peppers with the cheese fries!
Antionette was awesome
Loved it! The chocolate shake was fantastic.
Amazing burgers and a friendly staff.
Great burgers and shakes!!
It was ok I didn't like the fries
Awesome place with great food at a great price..
Good eats. I like crackin burger.
Good staff... Overrated burger
I love there burgers and shakes
I can’t even describe how delicious it was honestly.
Awesome! Great shakes, burger!
Service was under par today, hopefully I can revise upward next time
Really nice staff but the food is overpriced for what it is.
I could live off the Cheese fries alone.
Disappointed that there were not more shakes to choose from.
Great Shroom Burger
Great good and great service!!! I love this place.
Like the shakes, fries and veggie burgers 🙂 …
Chicken sandwich was perfectly crisp and tender.
Great shakes and friendly service
I was told it is like in n out, but its not even close to it.
The only burger in town that rivals In'n'Out
Awesomeness place friendly staff great food
don't wait in line for more than 15 minutes for anything
Can't go wrong with Shake Shack
The best burger and fries!!
Good, but not worth the price or the hype.
It was super good. And fast
Sorry never been here.
A.L.
Good food, nice staff.
Pretty good overall.
Not bad, not great, OK.
Very tasty but understaffed.
Awesome food and shakes!!!
It's Shake Shack. There's not much to be mad about.
Delicious!
Way overrated. You pay a lot for what you get.
So good!
Worth it. Get a strawberry shake...
Shack sauce is my drug of choice
Excellent chicken sandwich!!
