A great feast for the eyes! (Mouth not so much.) My adult children, their friends, my wife and I had a blast looking around while eating. None of us were blown away by our food but none of us were disappointed. It was all VERY pricey but you pay for the experience. It was about 170.00 for the six of us with no alcohol. But we did get 3 souvenir cups on that as well... it seems it's be even more fun with smaller kids. While I didn't love the food the service was top tier and we had a blast and I wouldn't trade that for anything!

The wait staff were polite, courteous and professional. The restaurant was clean and uncrowded despite being busy. Even with this said there was no abnormal wait from the time we were seated to the time we were able to order our drinks and food, so on and so forth. Everything seemed to be running smoothly and orderly. Despite having a limited menu ranging from pasta steak and seafood of about 25 items, what we had was well prepared, delicious and tasted fresh. There appeared to be something for pretty much everyone. I would recommend the steak and coconut shrimp.

This was on my bucket list of places to go!! Food was a little on the pricey side but, the atmosphere was very fun. I got a bright t-shirt and a mug. Lots of fun. Definitely different. A great place for kids!!

Fun for the whole family. The kids loved the decor and the thunderstorm every half hour. Food was great. Told our server we had somewhere to be and she got us our food in time to make our appointment. Super friendly staff and neat experience. Will return.

Got there soon after they opened, we were surprised how busy they already were. Even still, we didn't have to wait to be seated and our waitress was great, she remembered our orders correctly, very friendly and checked on us often. Everyone enjoyed their food. We were told to feel free to walk around while waiting for our food, which was great. All around great experience.

Love the atmosphere gave you the sense of being in an actual rainforest. The food was delicious and of course the drinks were hitting. I love the fact they offer to take your picture for memories. My waitress was very knowledgeable and nice.

A little too crowded for the experience to be what it's meant to be, in my opinion. The aquariums were our favorite thing. The food was just ok, not bad but not exceptional. The price point was fair. The favorite seemed to be the spinach artichoke dip. We were a group of 12 who they had to split between 2 tables to accommodate. Our waiter was exceptional; however, a server who attended our table dropped my daughter-in-law's plate of food, causing a barbecue sauce covered meatball to roll into her white shirt. Without anything other than an "oh,sorry," she ran off and never returned. I did tell our phenomenal waiter. He took her plate of food (yes, the other young lady left it) and replaced it with a new one. He also never let anyone serve us but him for the rest of our stay. He totally made our experience better.

We ate a light lunch. Split a chicken quesadilla between my wife and I. Food was great. Waitress was less friendly after she took our order. As if she wouldn't get a good tip do to a small order. Other than that it was great.

Food was AMAZING!!! Service was amazing our waiters name was Nick! The atmosphere was so cool and fun! Would recommend making reservations it's so good it gets busy fast but soooooo worth it.

Had lots of fun here! Good food, good service, no problems. Product quality needs improvement on their take home mugs. Atmosphere is genuinely otherworldly. I have been here many times before and I recommend Rainforest to anyone in Nashville! I do not recommend Rain forest cafe in Disney Springs. Please be aware this restaurant is an exsperience and it will be pricey! *Wait times will be extensive*

Family friendly. I'm from out of town so I reserved my table online. We were sat immediately. There are lots of kids very excited about the atmosphere. Lots of Pokémon Go places nearby as well. They have an adult bar too and fun kid drinks.

The atmosphere alone is worth the visit! The waiter was knowledgeable about gluten-free options, and they even had a gluten-free pasta on the menu. Every so often, there is a thunderstorm in the rainforest, and all the animals get excited, which my kiddos loved.

Amazing for little ones, it looks like an actual rain forest. Occasionally they have, "thunderstorms" which is just the light flickering and the speakers play noises of, thunder and rain. There are amazing souvineer cups. There is also a dessert volcano! And don't even get me started with the staff, so nice!

The atmosphere was s very interactive and very kind friendly with Thunderstorms every 10 minutes. The staff was friendly, but always seem like they are in a rush late for an appointment. The food was s average. My boys seem to enjoy their pizza and hotdogs. My Taco Salad was a small step above Taco Bell. Myself and two boys: $43. Kinda expensive, but you are paying the jungle experience.

My husband took me here as a lunch date while celebrating our 10th anniversary of being married it was really nice. It has Animatronic animals and has thunderstorms every 30 minutes with lights and sound I really enjoyed my food, service and it also had clean bathrooms

The food was excellent and not terribly overpriced, which was a pleasant surprise for this type of restaurant. I had the Creole Mac 'n Cheese and it was delicious. The kids really enjoyed the fun atmosphere, but they are on the older side. The occasional "thunderstorm" with the loud sounds and flashing lights may be too intense for little ones.

As always, we had an amazing time. Our waitress, Kathryn, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The animals are always a fun touch to the evening, as are the thunderstorms that occur every 30 minutes. Our meals were cooked well and tasty! We also enjoyed a VOLCANO!! It is such a fun treat for the entire table to enjoy! We spent roughly $175 for 6 people, 5 adults and 1 child. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a fun family time or a special treat.

I worked there on a gig from an app, and all I can say is "Spectacular". Rainforest Cafe has the greatest selection of food I've ever seen. Everything on the plates were just eye-catching. I wanted to try everything I saw. The atmosphere is very family oriented and great for families with small children. The jungle theme inside is a work of craftsmanship. The whole inside is so fascinating, you'll want to have pictures taken while you're there, which they have an on-site photographer. You owe it to yourself and your family to go to the Rainforest Cafe and have a great, family meal time. Go visit Rainforest Cafe and please take some children with you. You can dine solo too, and they do have a bar, just in case you want to have an adult drink. I plan on taking my wife there to eat and drink. I'm really impressed with their hospitality and great food. I look forward to going back there again soon.

This place will delight children. It is worth visiting at least once. Our server was pretty good but the kitchen was slow. However when the food came out everyone was pleased. It is pricey though so be prepared to spend around $30 to $40 per adult.

The food is appropriate sustenance to sustain human life. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. They made our visit to this establishment enjoyable. The atmosphere is fantastic when visiting with children. Recommended for that alone. Stay dry when the storms blow through! 😁

Food was good and came out quick. Atmosphere was good especially for 3yr old. They were not busy and it took us about 10 minutes or more just to be seated. Waitress was nice, but terrible service. No silverware, no straws, no condiments for food, the only napkins we had were the ones that go under your drinks. If the service was good then that would maybe justify the price of the food but since it doesn't, it's overpriced. Don't think I'll be back.

We had a reservation set for 4:00 p.m. The place was pretty crowded and very loud. The theme is a rainforest so there's animated jungle animals and sounds. Some aquariums with live fishes. It's a place for family with young children. If you want a nice, peaceful dinner this is not the place for you! But, hey we loved it because we are still young in heart. We had a wonderful waitress. We waited for about 45 minutes to get our food. But, then again like I said that was expected with so many people and short staff. The food was very good.

Great food and service at Rainforest Cafe. They were able to take a party of 7 when Aquarium could not for some supposed policy Aquarium has. Bartender made great drinks that was not on the menu (lemon martini, gin and tonic and an old fashioned). We appreciate the great service without the hassle of hearing about made up policies.

Extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon. 4 -5 parties going on at reserved tables. 1/2 hour wait time. They will text when a table is ready. (Table for 2). Once seated service was good. Had 2 servers checking in us for drinks,(coffee) food needs, etc. Jungle Steak and shrimp combo was good. Shrimp and fries were good. Coleslaw is vinaigrette style. I prefer creamy Coleslaw, but it was O.K. Wee bit chilly in there. Recommend wearing sweater or light jacket.

Came here for the nostalgia! But the food was better than expected. Got the Burger and the Iggy's Piggy sandwich. And the Sparkling Volcano for dessert (had to take some home, too much for two people after our dinner). Our only complaint would be how the pop music really ruins the aesthetic. They played two songs that fit the vibe, some rainforesty type sounds but most of the music was 2010's pop - which would be fine at another restaurant chain but because Rainforest Cafe's main selling point is the aesthetic/atmosphere, I would recommend playing music that suits it!

Everything was great! Nice dinner, helpful server and fun time with our teenager! Chocolate volcano was worth it! It's loud in there, definitely a place for fun and making memories but not for deep conversation.

Experience was good. Our waitress was super nice and so was the manager, whom we complained to about my husbands order of ribs. It was way over priced for food that McDonald's taste better than. I've never had fried shrimp I didn't like until here. We drove over 2 hours to eat there so it was an extra disappointment when the food was tasteless.

We had such an amazing time for our first visit ever! Our 5 year old was amazed with so much to look at, and we were seated in a booth by fishtank so he was in Heaven as were his grandparents and my husband and I! The animals acted out every 15 minutes and thunderstorms happened ever 30 which was amazing to see. Parts of the ceiling were the night sky which changed colors, constellations and had shooting stars. Meredith was our amazing waitress and I absolutely give her 10 stars and everyone we interacted with was extremely kind - especially the male manager when we had to go back for my son's cup!!! Our food was what you would expect with large portions and our drinks were delicious, expect to pay for the experience but it is well worth it - as well as the great gift shop prices. We will definitely be back when in the area!

The Rainforest Cafe at the Nashville mall is certainly unique like the entire chain is. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and chatted with us about her hometown and the area. However, we were incredibly disappointed with the prices of food. I ordered the house salad because I wanted something lighter. This was $10 and it was just a spring mix of lettuce, some cold carrot shreds, cucumber, and a few croutons. Definitely not worth $10. You can get better salads for $3 at Walmart. Don't try the coconut curry dressing on it. I regretted it immediately.

We had a very pleasant time today at this location. Jaylen was our server and he was very polite and helpful. My original order was not what I expected and he happily replaced it with something else. They sang happy birthday to my 6 year old and gave him a cupcake.

Good food as always, staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We had one of the summer special Poke Bowls and hopefully it makes it to a permanent option. The tuna was paired well with the flavors in the rest of the bowl and the spicy sauce was jus the right amount of heat.

It's a need place but the food is terrible. I tried the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It tasted like summer sausage with a crispy shell. The served it on some of instant mashed potatoes. My daughter got mac n cheese. It was some drippy cheese sauce over rotini. She did not like it. The fries we good. They were out of co2 so no soda. This is amusement park food with a price tap to match.

I had my birthday dinner here this year and I had the best time on the planet. The food was very good, and I even got a little cupcake which was absolutely scrumptious. We enjoyed our visit - especially the 4 year old! I wish they had been seating people at every other table to stay safer during COVID because the tables are pretty close together. We had a booth, which I recommend, so we were a bit more removed from the tables beside us. But, it's still something they could improve. I've only ever been to the one at Disney before this and that one is of course much bigger but also much more expensive. This RC is smaller, but we did enjoy it, had great service, and the food was a good value for the atmosphere.

This was such a fun restaurant to eat at! A unique experience that everyone should try. We had our safari next to the apes and an aquarium full of beautiful fish. The prices are reasonable, we split the pork beef and fish plate and had some to take home. This is a great experience for kids and adults alike. Experience the rainforest first hand and see the animals play and watch for shooting stars! This place is one of a kind and it will not disappoint. It is at the southern entrance to opry mills mall, you can't miss it! Go on in and start your safari adventure today!

So I set up reservations along with a $100 deposit for my sons Surprise 10th Birthday. He loved it so much. The atmosphere was amazing. Our server was great she seemed to be pulled in a lot of directions but for the most part she took good care of us. My only complaint is we waited over an hour for our checks. The contract for the party stated that my $100 would be deducted from my over all bill and I would pay the remainder.. However it took so long for them to get 3 checks correct. Finally we had the manager come out. He was nice and explained it was a lack of communication between the sales lady Angie I believe is her name and himself. Once we got that situated we were ok to leave. The kids enjoyed it and the food was just ok. The egg rolls were very good. I enjoyed that the most.

The only reason I'm rating the atmosphere three stars is their website and signage are extremely frustrating. We arrived at 10 AM which the website says they open. We went to the arch and waited for 40 minutes before we were told we had to wait outside. Only to find approximately 50 people in front of us. Then as we stood in that line many others got in front of us by walking directly to where we were originally standing. The it took another hour before we got our food. We won't be back.

Had too wait 2 1/2 hours, then sit down, got drinks, then waited another 15 minutes for waitress to take order. Waited 30 minutes on food, my friends order was not great, had fajitas, no onions, very few peppers, and chicken was burnt. they replaced it with nachos, had to wait another fifteen minutes, her drink was watered down. My dinner wasn't that great for price I paid for it, scenery was nice, but overall very pricey and not worth the wait time. But was a one time experience.

I absolutely love this place. We drove from Maryville. The food presentation was awesome, hot and very tasty, "Our Compliments to the Chef". Our waitress was professional and friendly, very attentive always making sure we had everything we needed. The Concierge was the best in accommodating us. We are definitely coming back.

I enjoy bringing my grandchildren here, we always have a great time, if we can get in. Opry Mills seems to fill up on reservations and not leave much room for walk in traffic. When you’re located in a mall you should allow for walk in traffic and not simply fill up on reservations. Just my opinion. Thank you. :)

The only thing I have a complaint about is when we got there they told us to stand in line even though we had reservations However when it was time for our reservations I went in front of line and they honored it. Very confusing to 1st patrons. Our waitress was beyond excellent. Food was good too

You're mainly paying for the experience here, which is disappointing considering that it's a restaurant - you'd hope for decent food, but the quality & taste is certainly subpar. The staff forgot my child's refill for an extended period of time. However, the environment itself is so immersive, my kids were too busy to want to sit in one place & eat.

The atmosphere is fun for little kids, but the overpriced food and limited menu options make this a rarity on our list of places to eat. The food is decent, but definitely overpriced and portion sizes very enough it’s hard to know what you’re getting for your money. If you have younger kids, they’ll love the concept of eating in the jungle and all the wild animal-animatronics that add to that feel. Though after a while, even the sound of monkeys chattering, birds, and thunder lose their appeal…

We were seated promptly and the food arrived quickly. We sat by a fish tank which was fun to look at! We felt like we were not in mall anymore but at a place like Disneyland!! The food was very good although a little pricey. The service was great! Overall, a very fun experience!

It's a jungle out there! No but really, this place is just bananas. But lets get down to business, and I don't mean just monkey business. You are definitely paying for the experience, as the food is very normal stuff like pizza, steak, and burgers, nothing that is especially tropical themed (but at least they all have exciting jungle themed names so that is just as good.) Also, everything is about $5 more than it would be elsewhere but if you're coming here for the food you're missing the point. Besides, they gotta keep the animals fed. Speaking of animals, lets talk jungle animals. We're talking hippos, monkeys, birds. All your favorites are included. The hippo out front is a legend that you can't miss, and is a definite crowd pleaser. All the animals go wild every few minutes which livens things up, and you will hear assorted squawks, chirps, and roars. As far as adult beverages go, the drinks are served 'neath an enormous mushroom cap, so that will be appreciated by all the mycophiles out there. The cocktails are fun and colorful, and the bartenders are fun-gi's (or girls as the case may be). So if you're swinging around Opry Mills, make sure to pop in for a treat, this place is coco-nuts, and I ain't lion!

This place is great! Really fun place for small kids that love animals. They’ve got animatronic animals that make the experience so fun. Their food is actually amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking somewhere fun to eat with their kids. They have a “Thunderstorm” that goes off every 30min and that’s a fun little experience.

A must on your list if you have young people. There was alot to see which keeps them entertained until the food arrives. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. (1st visit) We just had a second trip to Rainforest cafe for a special event Cha Cha's Egg-cellent Easter Adventure. It was awesome. They completely transformed the space into a Easter brunch. We enjoyed every minute, our kids too (smile). There were pics a bunny and Cha Cha himself. Our party had mixed guest, the manager and his team (chef, servers, hosts) ensured we had plenty of vegan options. Thank you Rainforest Cafe for making us feel special.

I gave Rainforest a 4-Star rating because the food is NOT super great. The atmosphere is why we go and my girls love to go when were around, but as many times as I've been, nothing I've ordered has been too good. I'm not a picky eater and love just about everything, but I'm a foodie and have been to many wonderful restaurants, I just can't get anything here that's divine. Even their specialty volcano cake isn't good anymore. Just big hard brownies that's way too sweet with plain ice cream, no cherries, boring. The restaurant? LOVE IT!!! The elephant trumps, the monkey cries, the rain falling with thunder and lightning - super fun! That's what keeps me going back. Wish the food was better and the prices would be worth it. I do recommend taking your little ones there to enjoy the magic, you'll find a bit of magic yourself.

Great atmosphere for amusing the kids,but food and combinations or lack thereof should I say for the price and taste enjoyment was not .if they put as much attention on the flavor and compatibility f food as they did the theatrics it would be wonderful but until then at best mediocre

Rainforest Cafe is a chain restaurant with a jungle atmosphere. Nice place to take kids as they can be entertained by the tigers 🐅 gorillas 🦍 and elephants 🐘 . The food is decent and tasty as well. Wait staff is competent and manager does check in on you to see how your visit is. We ate a turkey club sandwich and Blue Mountain chicken sandwich with a side order of ribs. All pictured and tasty. Prices about average.

The atmosphere is unbeatable! On July 4th, after an expected 40 minute wait, we were seated at a comfortable table. Our drinks came out quickly and our toddler grandson received his food within 5 minutes. Our food, on the other hand, took over 50 minutes from order to table. The soup was lukewarm at best. The manager said they were understaffed. I recommend Rainforest Cafe, but NOT on a holiday. I saw several angry people that might not return. Fabulous experience! We visit here once or twice a year. We live 3 1/2hrs away. Definitely recommend becoming a Landry's member. We rarely have to wait to be seated and the birthday reward is worth the initial expense. The service was great, very friendly waiter. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The volcano cake easily fed 5 of us! Serving sizes are very large. You get your money's worth. I had the Anaconda pasta and loved it. You can't tell the difference between quinoa pasta and regular wheat pasta and there were lots of veggies. Burgers are cooked to the temp you desire. The kids special glasses are pricey 8.95 for the animal heads. The children's menu offers a variety and ours always eat all there food here. The atmosphere is wonderful for all ages!

Coolest place I've ever been to. while yes it looks awesome and I, myself being an animal lover who could sit here for hours and just staring at things it pains me to write a bad review. The service was GREAT however the food was very lacking and everything is VERY pricey. The food is not far from cafeteria level quality and on top of that your spending like 100$ for it! Definitely a cool place to bring kids and have fun but at the end of the day I'm judging it based on what it is.. A restaurant. And as a restaurant it is not very good.

Please, be kind to ALL restaurant staff! Just because a table is open does not mean it’s available! The hostess you are torturing is probably 17! Kitchens are beyond hot, and very busy! They are doing their best! When you make dinner at home, it takes about an hour. Right? Imagine making 45 different dinners at the same time, all with special requests! TIP your servers and your bartenders!! Compliments do not pay their bills! It has been a long year, and people have very quickly forgotten how hard restaurants are working! So this is the 2nd time I've tried Rainforest Cafe. I really want to love it. I mean the atmosphere is great! The service is good. The food is just mah and way over priced. $71 dollars for 2 people with just sodas to drink it a little ridiculous. So go for the atmosphere, don't go for the food.

We rolled up in a Limo to Rainforest #OpryMillsMall (humanities history/learning moment: look up Kichwa people in Ecuador to see modern-day "keepers of" a portion of the Rainforest).

We love going here its so much fun. It's a little on the expensive side. But it's worth it every once in a while. The only thing to be cautious of is they have a lightning and thunder storm every 20 minutes, if you have little ones afraid of storms this might scare them. It does get dark and a lot of flashing lights. But on the plus side the fish tanks and life like animals are amazing.

Very wonderful restaurant... It was full of detailed scenery and even fake animals which made animal noises and moved. There was even a beautiful aquarium of fish above the door archway which was very fun to look at. The food was very good (especially the coconut shrimp) and was a perfect serving size. The only thing that could have made this visit better was if the lighting was a little brighter and if there wasn't music in the background, since there was already regular resterant noises to go with the animal noises. Overall a lovely experience with my family. Very fun for children.

A checklist on the children's menu encourages kids to explore the restaurant and find all the animals. It kept my son busy while we waited for our food. I would like it if Rainforest Cafe would post the nutritional information, if not on the menu than at least online. In this one respect they are behind other restaurants.

So I've been to this establishment now quite a number of times and once again have gone here yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She actually really loves this place because of the theming. The themes here are definitely pretty cool to find in a restaurant as it's more or less something that you think you would find at more of a budget theme park. Realistically I think that's what you're mainly paying for here is the themed experience. When it comes to the food there's definitely work to be done to improve the food and to be perfectly honest it really just comes down to learning how to balance the seasonings when the food is being prepared. The reason that I think this is because in 25 years I have maybe only been to one other restaurant that I've had to grab the salt and pepper shaker but this is definitely one of those restaurants where you will need to grab the salt and pepper to season your food because it is not adequately seasoned prior. In general a lot of the flavors of the food you find aren't necessarily bad but between not being seasoned or having odd balances in the flavor, it's just stuff that needs refinement and it isn't necessarily going to be something that causes the company to have to up the quality of their food or ingredients. It's just getting a better hand on how to actually use them. For example my wife ordered a Korean dish that was sweet stacked on top of sweet. Unfortunately not something that salt and pepper is going to cure. I ordered their more popular pasta dish that I can't remember the name of but the chicken within the dish was basically like unseasoned chicken. The rest of the dish tasted very bland and required the salt and pepper to get the flavors better. This particular occasion we ended up with a waitress that was super friendly but unfortunately wasn't very attentive to the tables. We ordered our drinks and got them about 5 minutes later and it wasn't until the very end of our visit when they brought out my daughter's cupcakes that a refill was presented and we had to ask for it. We didn't even get offered refills when our food arrived at our table almost 25 minutes after our drinks for empty and ate our entire meal without a drink. We had to grab her attention to get a drink refill and when they did the refill they came out with a cupcake to celebrate our daughter's birthday which was fantastic but she didn't even refill our drinks she just left the pitcher on the table. I'm not sure if this is a new practice or not but based on prior visits this is not normal. All said and done we've been going here for my daughter's birthdays for probably 7 years with a few other visits to the restaurant sandwiched in between on other random occasions and at no point has anything ever improved. I guess you could say that in all in all my daughter enjoys this place because of the themes but this is an establishment that in a nutshell charges $24 for a plate of pasta that is improperly seasoned,$22 for a throne together out of balance flavor-wise dish, with unfortunately no desire to consider adjusting things. Apparently satisfactory with the stagnant status quo.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! Staff were kind, and very lively! They have all sorts of living animatronics with rocks on the walls, vines hanging down from the ceiling, as well as a very sepectacular light show that made you feel as if you were in the Rainforest. Their we're eight birthdays tonight and they had a smile every time they had to come out, and even had a few laughs with our server Lex. She made the night so much better with her amazing personality. The restaurant was rather pricey, but it was totally worth it. Overall, I would recommend going to the Rainforest Cafe if you ever have a chance, or just go to the gift shop just to experience it.

A rainforest themed restaurant that serves a variety of food items from burgers to pasta or steak. With periodic thunderstorms, the animals move and make noise at timed intervals throughout dinner. The food is a bit on the pricey side however, you are getting a great dining experience if the servers are on their game. Although this store is located inside the mall, there are quite a few Rainforest Cafe's in the U.S. Be sure to visit one at least once.

It has always been my girlfriends dream to visit a rainforest cafe, so we drove almost 4 hours to get here, but the hostess very rudely said they werent seating anymore, at 3pm, so we sat at the bar, and the bartender was amazing, and found us a table that she could serve us from. The food and atmosphere where great, and we really enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 would recommend, but you may want to make reservations.

The manager did take my burger off the bill and even offered to get me a new one but I was so hungry I willingly ate the charred brick. This experience was amazing! We was told an hour wait but it only took about 25 minutes if that. Then our waitress was awesome! There are fake rain storms every 30 minutes and the animals move every 15 minutes! The price was cheaper than I thought it would be with all the entertainment also! The food was good as was the atmosphere which let's face it It's why you go ... at least my kids reason for going. I love the staff every time we go which has been several. They have always been nice, respectful, accommodating and made sure we were happy with the service. Which is what keeps me going back and will continue to go back. Thanks Rainforest for a great experience

Was our first visit to Rainforest Cafe. When we checked in, we were told it would be a 45-50 minute wait. Seemed very reasonable concerning they were only seating about 50% capacity. We were seated right about 45 minutes. Once we were seated, it took our waitress about 10 minutes to get our drink order. It took another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. From the time we sat down until we received our food was an hour. She was not very attentive as we had to ask for refills on our drinks and that still took about 20 minutes to get them. As we had plenty of time to observe what was going on, our waitress had 6 tables we as the other waitresses had only 3 tables each. Coming from 20+ years of restaurant experience myself I completely understand being short handed. The thing that bothered me was the fact that she would participate in all of the 17 birthday songs to other guests. As for the food it was pretty darn good. I had the fish and chips which was awesome. Food was great, service was not. Maybe it was just a bad day .

Very expensive for the portion sizes and quality of food! The food was good but not great. We waited almost an hour for a table for 4 on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm and there were empty tables when we put our name on the wait list. Two fish & chips meals, and appetizer of Shrimp Scampi (only 4 shrimp for $9), a side of fries, and a single soft drink (three of us had water) cost us over $70! Sure, the decor is cool for young kids but teens and adults will likely tire of the piped in atmospheric effects over the course of a meal if not with smaller children. It is unlikely that we will return during future visits to the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, TN.

We went in November. It was not busy so we were seated right away. We hadn't been here for about 12 years and our 10(it was her birthday) and 6 year old girls were excited to go. Pros: The kids liked it. Our server. No waiting. Fun animal surroundings. Cons: The food- I know you are paying for an experience when you go here, but, the food was just really lacking for the price!! The only thing that was pretty good was the cuban sandwich. We also had a burger 15.99, Taste of the islands $28.99- tasted like a frozen dinner, and kids meals(luckily they were free with a promotion.) Luckily my girls didn't notice the sad food and were distracted by their surroundings. Some of the animals were looking a little tired and in need of a good cleaning.

The food was great I had the ribs, steak, and coconut shrimp trio. The ribs were really tender and juicy, so was the steak and I'm not really a steak person. My favorite of course was the coconut shrimp. Sorry no pics because I went in on my plate as soon as it got to the table. The wait was not long at all which was great. This was an interesting experience, dining while getting a feel of being in a rainforest with all the sights and sounds. I really enjoyed it so I will be going back. I just hope the next time I will not have the same waiter. The waiter kept forgetting a lot such as things on the order, condiments to bring... We had to remind him several times about little things even with it not being a lot of people in the restaurant at the time, but like I said I will return I do understand sometimes people can be going through something or just having a bad day.

If you are at Opry Mills and looking for a fun place for young kids, this is an option but there may be better options.

Our 1 year old loved the rainforest theme and experience. Friendly service and staff. We ordered the Mother's Day special for $35 per person which was fair. Food was average, but you pretty much pay for the experience overall which we figure that coming here. Overall, a fun dining experience for special occasions and from time to time.

While I did like the food our waitress was only ok although she did bring out an ice cream sandwich for my granddaughter unasked so that was nice. It's your typical Rainforest Cafe with the animals and thunderstorms so that's always fun. My biggest complaint and the only reason I gave it three stars instead of 4 was the wait. They quoted us two hours which normally I wouldn't wait but we had people out of town with us that wanted to eat there so whatever. We spent the two hours shopping in the mall and going through the wax museum. We went back when are two hours were up and they told us thirteen more parties were ahead of us still bit it wouldn't be much longer. Another hour went by before we got our text. A three hour wait is ridiculous of course but I think we should have been told that it was going to be longer than two hours to begin with so we would have at least known. Their answer was that management would not let them say it was going to be longer than two hours regardless of the wait time. That's horrible customer service. I think people would appreciate a more honest approach.

This is a fun place to take kids, especially with the aquariums, fake thunderstorms and noises. The food is pretty decent for the price, and overall I would say the staff are friendly. However there are three things I absolutely hate coming here: I sat for 30 minutes before being asked about a drink, and another 30 before ordering food. Grand total, what should have been a 60-90 minute meal took over 2 hours, most of it spent waiting to order. Chuck E Cheese cannot compare to how loud this place is. I've been to heavy metal concerts that caused lesser headaches after. at no point were the noise levels not high. The limited size of the menu is great for kids, but honestly there is a very small amount of options here. Which is more a personal complaint than anything.

It was great. Had the aloha salmon + shrimp. Be wary though the chefs don't take the onions off the order or the shrimp if you didn't want them. My waitress was kind enough to remove the onions and the shrimp was served on a separate plate. Atmosphere was pleasant and lots of birthdays so for kids I assume it's fantastic. Just sad that I can't remember the waitresses name else I'd give her a shout out.

They were able to seat us right away when we arrived. Great place to bring kids. They have many mechanical animals that move and make sounds periodically. There are several very large fish tanks throughout the dinning area as well as the entrance. The food was delivered quickly, was hot and the order was accurate. The macaroni and cheese was fantastic, will definitely order again.

You knw, I ,like the Rainforest Café. Yes the prices are too high (Fish and chips for $21?), the décor is cheesy, but it was a great place to take my kids for a treat, they loved looking everything, the food is decent quality, service has always been decent. Don't expect great shakes from the food, this is not a gourmet restaurant, but I have also never been disappointed. If I have one grip it really is price, for something clearly targeted at families the prices are way to high ($9 for a soup, $25 for Fajitas), if you do take a family of 4 or 5 be prepared to lay out some cash.

Your typical themed restaurant. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was ok. My husband and son-in-law ordered shrimp and they both said that it was tough. My daughter and I ordered pasta with pesto sauce, but it was more like runny Alfredo sauce. It tasted good, but not like pesto.
