I had the best salad from here! It was the Salmon Cesar Salad. What a nice dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. I asked for tea and the worker leaned the container forward and it was enough to fill up my cup. Then a few minutes later she clocked out and left. I am giving them 5 stars on everything but, I did see 4 people ask for more tea and it went unnoticed. Most of the patrons just got something different to drink. I don't like a lot of things like coke so, i really wanted tea. They were really busy and everyone was running around. My food came out quickly and it was amazing. I also got a Rice Krispy treat. They were located by the register and hard to resist. The parking lot is small here, it is Nashville and parking is hard to come by. My food was amazing and I would highly recommend going here! Souvenir cup with Christmas themed to take home!

Fresh food at great prices and super fast service. Staff was friendly. Really like that they have fresh fruit for a side choice it makes having dessert totally worth the calories. And you must try the caramel cake!

OMG this is the best salads place EVER! I always get the cob salad n I take off the blue cheese n blue cheese dressing n swap it for ranch! U gotta try it. The ranch is made by them so it's the best! Don't forget to add cheese n bread sticks at the little bar!!

Once you figure out that you order your food than sit down and they bring it to you it was very good. A cup of soup is a bowl a bowl of soup is huge! Large portions and delicious salads, soups and sandwiches!

Great prices for a great selection of pizzas and sandwiches. I ate here several times while visiting town, and neither my taste buds nor wallet were ever disappointed! Customer service isn’t strong here, but otherwise, I’d recommend giving Newk’s a try.

As with other locations I've visited, the food was very good with great options. The prices are good too. We received our food quickly and the place was generally pleasant and quiet. However both the restrooms needed servicing and when we told one of the workers (the guy making up orders) he nodded but rolled his eyes like it was a bother.

Still a good lunch spot, but without a doubt the quality of the food is not quite what it used to be. Portions seem a tad smaller and the overall quality seems to have eroded. Also, the wait to receive food for in-house diners is longer than it was even 6 months ago. We will keep coming back for now but hope things will improve as the pandemic slowly goes away.

Excellent food, a well-known sandwich, salad, and soup shop, but unfortunately catering exclusively to the lunch crowd. Would be nice to expand hours to encompass dinner with the closing of the other, nearby, store.

Roomy place. Nice atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. Service was relatively quick. Food was delicious. This is not a sit down table service more of a upscale fast food. While there are a variety of things for people to choose from on the menu, the menu is more focused on quick items like sandwiches and pizza rather than sit down meals. The soups of the day are a good variety though. This is a great place to sit and eat with friends. Staff could smile a little more but were overall nice.

The food is always excellent here and they never seem to be too crowded. I have tried out a lot of their different cakes and they are not only good and taste but large in size. They're half sandwich and soup combinations are great and I even love the cups that they use that I can take home as a souvenir to reuse. The icing on the cake is that the people here at this location are extremely friendly and helpful. I always enjoy coming back here as I meet with friends once a week. Definitely recommend for a great lunch spot and even dinner. They have an app where you can order from your table but I have not tried it yet. Maybe that will be my next thing to try here. On a last side note, their bathrooms are always very clean.

I would give this place 4 stars for the food and 2 stars for the staff. I've eaten here many times. I find the staff members to be quite moody which maybe has something to do with management because it's not just one or two of them. Even the same staff members to have served me multiple times can sometimes be very friendly and sometimes you can be very snappy. There is definitely no consistency to the service.

Same as the last 2 reviews...the Cashier tonight upfront taking our order was outright rude, rolling her eyes, not wanting to help when we asked what the sides were and ‘rushing’ us as we ordered $70 worth of food for my family (2 kids, 2 adults). It was 7:30pm and not the slightest bit busy (no one in line or after us in the lobby). This was our first visit here and disappointed that our initial interface with the staff was unpleasant. However, the server and busser were friendly ladies and the food was really tasty! The broccoli cheddar soup, salmon caesar salad, and our sandwiches were yummy. Too bad the Cashier(s) left a bad taste in our mouth, so much so that it prompted me to spend time writing this review.

Placed a To-Go order over the phone and ordered the Royal Sandwich with Potato Soup—get there to pick it up and the staff says “oh we no longer have that sandwich,” after I’ve ordered it and has tomato soup in the bag. Highly recommend double checking your orders-staff needs work.

Great place for a family bite! Counter service joint, and the servers were super friendly. The variety of sandwiches, pizzas, and other options was impressive. Their signature sandwich was delicious, and the pizzas taste surprisingly good (watch out if you're a tomato-hater like me though... there's no warning about the tomato slices on every pie). Refillable drinks in sturdy cups and a really nice atmosphere mage it a place worth a return trip. Super easy to get to if you're visiting Centennial Park, for instance.

1st visit, the restaurant was clean, very nice, customer service was excellent. The soup and sandwich was awesome. We had the spicy crawfish and the loaded potato soup. The sandwiches was po' boy and the Italian. Revommend both. We will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! As a vegetarian it's not always easy to find anything above a salad. Husband had the Roast beef, son had the toasted cheese, and daughter enjoyed the Pesto Chicken. I savored over the Farmer's Market.

Wonderful food, amazingly friendly people. My sister ordered a chicken salad sandwich which she didn't like and they happily gave us a full refund with no issues. Their table of complimentary add-ons is both extensive and delicious. All in all a great experience.

My experience was incredible. Ordered online, it was ready when it was suppose to be. The food was great. We recommend the Carmel cake. The pasta salad was great as was the steak sandwiches. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

This is their best location in Nashville. It’s always clean and the staff is mostly friendly. They always have their side items stocked (breadsticks, etc). The food is delicious and comes out quickly. We’ve typically go during the week for dinner and some on the weekends. It can get busy as a lot of people get their food to go.

I can't quite give Newk's a five so consider this a 4.5. Newk's delivers with good flavors, portions, and value. Had the chicken Greek salad today and it was a LARGE salad. There would have been plenty there for two people! Also love the station where you can pick up pickles, peppers, cheese, croutons, etc. Great touch. Service was friendly and attentive - especially from the gentleman working the dining room, clearing dishes. I felt compelled to leave a tip even though it's not really table service. Not a frequent visitor but when I have eaten at Newk's it does not disappoint.

Nice varieties of pizzas, sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. If you like thin crust pizzas, then you will like their crust. Soups are all pretty good. I haven't had lots of their sandwiches, but my daughter says they are good and taste fresh.

I ate here today for the first time. A coworker suggested I try Newks. It was okay. It wasn't overwhelming but it wasn't underwhelming either. I had the club sandwich with a fruit cup. The two girls upfront taking orders probably could've been a bit friendlier. The girl who took my order actually told the other employee taking orders to be nice to the customer placing his lunch order with her. I'll probably return for the food. They seem to have good menu options.

Wonderful place to eat. Great customer service and the manager Clay is very helpful and kind. All the employees and management team work hard and make some amazing food! My favorite is the chicken ceaser salad and I add lots of roasted garlic from the round table. I highly recommend :)

Their food is delicious and made fresh with quality ingredients! Their chocolate topped Peanut butter rice crispy squares are out of this world, and they're huge!!! They also have unique and tasty soups! It has a fun, hip atmosphere. The employees are helpful and kind. We need one in Hendersonville!

The food was great - way better than other sandwich shops around the Nashville area. The service was not so great. The staff didn't seem to want to be there even though I got there at opening. The closing staff from the night before obviously did not clean up as there were crumbs on my table even though I was the first to sit there that day. Don't let that dishearten you though. If you hate the food/service at Panera as much as I do, this is a breath of fresh air.

LOVE Newk's EVERY time !!! my go-to order is Newk's Q pizza, hold the jalapenos !! I've also enjoyed the Newk's Q sandwich as well as the Ceasar salad and salmon (always a big piece!!!!) I always get a drink, because i love the cups, and when i brought my cup today, they gave me a new one, i guess due to the virus precautions... by the way they have the best straws :-) they also have the best happy people i really enjoy coming here because they are always pleasant and kind. FYI - - store hours are closing at 8pm during virus precautions even though google and their door front says 9pm.... ;-(

Good food, fast service & easy to see menu boards include calories. Apparently, since Covid more disposable plastic containers are used for dine in. There are meat & vegetarian choices for sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza plus 4-layer cake slices worth the indulgence. 😊

During summer or after marching band practices, I'd often go here with our section and talk about life with delicious food! All their food are absolutely delicious. If you're ever introducing your friend or someone to this eatery, you should recommend their avocado shrimp salad with Mac N' Cheese, as those two are my always go-to's. They also have amazing pizza and most importantly great service! The only con with this place is their parking, as it's nearly impossible to find a parking spot around lunch time.

I had a half sandwich of the Shrimp Po'boy and a cup of Lobster and Crab bisque. The bisque came out nice and warm and was creamy and very flavorful. The sandwich had a fair amount of shrimp on it for a half sandwich, not skimpy at all, and it was fantastic. Its a little on the pricy side at 13$(that's with taxes), but was well worth every penny. As a guy who likes trying new places, and this being my first time here, I will DEFINITELY be giving this place my further business.

Newk's convenient location near Centennial Park makes this casual dining spot a great place to go when you're in the mood for a good sandwich. I have enjoyed this Newk's location as lunch, to-go orders, and catering. Lunch was my favorite as there is plenty of parking and seating within the restaurant. Even though this is a chain restaurant, this is a great budget-friendly option, with a short wait, free parking, a great menu.

Newk's is one of my newest favorite places on West End Nashville Tennessee. The chicken salad is absolutely amazing. I typically will get a to-go one even if dining in. Service was not good. The two girls working the registers were not friendly at all. They seemed irritated with me for saying only "Newks Q to go". They need to be trained better. They let another customer wait for several minutes while they both were talking to a customer that had several questions. He was very irritated and left. But the food was great!

Great food! This place beats any of those big box "bread companies" any day. My favorite is the toasted roast beef sandwich and the pimento mac n cheese. The ceaser salad is awesome as well. Always quick and friendly just hope you find a place to park.

Ordered pimento cheese sandwich- got a grilled cheese that was cold... red velvet cake was dried out. I spent $30 for worst food ever. Won’t go to this Newks again. I was on my way to work so no time to fuss. I expect to get what I asked for and I expect it to be hot. I’ll be contacting Home Office.

I love Newks in general, but this trip has won the prize of "Best Newks outing...ever!". The chicken on my Greek pizza was a little dry, but the service was AMAZING!! Chick-fil-* could have learned how to be friendly and professional from the staff we dealt with today. I am just very impressed. We walked in with a gaggle of 5 hungry kids. Instead of the eye rolls we usually get, everyone was patient, helpful, and did all they could to help us have a great experience. The staff working at 11:00am on 1/20/2020 were all prime examples of customer service and I truly hope someone from Newks "big office" takes the time to acknowledge them for going above and beyond where so many have often just avoided us. Wow, that was long.

The food is always fast fresh and good. The staff is all about speed but super helpful. I ordered a Newks Q sandwich one time, and either the wrong button was pressed or I was misheard, regardless I didn't notice a shrimp po boy sandwich was on the order. I told the staff I didn't mean to order it, and that's not what I wanted. They swapped it for a Newks Q even though I offered to pay for a new sandwich. Not many places will do that when it is your fault for not noticing before paying.

This is a great venue. The history is amazing and growing all the time. The artifacts are from across the country, and cover various areas and music influences. When visiting you will learn everything from writing music, producing, playing and distribution.

Newks is better than Panera or Jason's Deli. Theirsoups, sandwiches, and salads are always fresh tasting and it's always clean. I like the unlimited salad bar at Jason's but quality isn't quite there. I give three stars because it's budget food but and fast but not fast food. Not fancy, great for lunch with coworkers or family.

Newk's has great good, but failed us on this visit. The broccoli chz soup was HEAVENLY, but our sandwich bread was so hard, there's was no way of eating it. The person I was with had a chicken salad sandwich and ate the salad, not the bread, I had the turkey avocado and threw it away, bc there's was no way to consume it, bc of the hard bread. The staff was very nice.

This location has quickly become a weekly lunch stop for my wife and I. We love Newk's, and this location carries on all the good food and service that you expect. Parking is fairly limited, but we've never had an issue finding a spot on a Sunday afternoon.

Good place for lunch. Lots of options including sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and soups. I had the choose two with a half Italian sandwich and a half Caesar salad. The Italian is full of flavor and not dry like I've had elsewhere and the half Caesar is a large portion. The freebie bar is worth browsing for some good addons to your meal. Easy parking in front right off West End.

I love the menu selection at Newks. If you are looking for something different this is a great place to try. They have sandwiches, salads and different types of specialty pizzas. It also has a great atmosphere. I will definitely eat there again

We were visitingd Nashville and asked at the motel for a good place to get a quick bite. They recommended Newks so we gave it a try. Newks does salads and sandwiches and boy were our sandwiches good! Their bread is amazing and all their ingredients were very fresh. They remind me of Panera but I think they are better. I would definitely recommend them.

Went there with my coworkers never been there before but I ordered I said a bowl it was gumbo so when I order me a Greek salad someone is salad came out it was in the biggest bowl you've ever seen in your life and then my gumbo came out in a bigger bowl when I was looking at everybody else is full I'm also so what is yours this was a cup it was a normal size cup bowl but mine was the biggest bowl of gumbo I've ever seen so I had leftovers the Greek salad was the bomb to die for although they left my chicken off but I went up there and they gave me my chicken I was still happy so yes this place is really nice if you don't know where it is it's right next to McDonald's on West end where electronic Express used to be go check it out nice atmosphere parking is limited is great for lunch

So, the pizza is too great! Salad is freah. But, gumbo was not something I would rave about. It was spicy, but missed that New Orleans gumbo taste. Still, I will keep coming back.
