Great food! Extremely nice people working the bar! We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded but there was a diverse crowd! While at the bar the two gentlemen explain the menu in great detail and explain their best sellers! You can buy whole pizzas or pizza by the slice. They also have a full bar. We ordered the cheese sticks! Delicious!! I have never had cheese sticks like these in my life! So cheesy!! Also we had ordered a whole pizza which was great! The buffalo pizza is a must try !

The sweet heat pizza is my favorite slice they have here. The capicola, honey, and jalapeños are delicious together. The three meat and buffalo chicken are also pretty good.

Overall pretty good. The one negative was the salad, the thing was drenched with dressing, too much. The pizza was good. The guy taking care of us at the bar was great, extremely friendly and happy.

See Buffalo chicken below for $4. It’s so good and crispy! Definitely a must try if your in town. They also have a pretty solid beer list featuring area brewers. Beer and slice of pizza for $10! Can’t beat that with no wait on a Friday night.

Went by here after we took my son to Climb Nashville. My wife wanted pizza and I hopped on Google maps and saw so many in such a small vicinity. I thought the pictures and reviews at Midnight oil looked good and thought why not give it a shot. We were both extremely pleased and my son also loved the cheese pizza. The pizza by the slice was a decent price and quite filling depending your hunger. I was mind blown by the Sweet Heat pizza, I could eat that every day and die a happy man. I'm definitely going to stop by again when I'm in the area to try their drink selections.

Went here last night. The parking definitely sucks especially if you have to find parking when it’s cold. The place seemed more a neighborhood spot to me but the vibe was right. I got pizza and my friend got a Caesar salad and slice of pizza. He didn’t like salad at all and he’s from Chicago so he is real bias when it comes to pizza. I thought my pizza was good. 3 stars since I can’t give 3.5 here

Midnight Oil is a great neighborhood spot. Not only are the fantastic owners reason enough to go here, but the pizza/food is so tasty and there are a lot of drink options! The outdoor seating is ideal during warmer months, plus your dog is able to sit outside with you if you're in the middle of a walk and decide you need some za and a brewski.

We loved Midnight oil. It was a traditional bar (small but adhering properly to COVID-19 guidelines) with lots of TVS and a limited menu. The pizza and cheese bread were delicious. Our service was great. We will go back. I see this place as a great way to start an afternoon or end the night in the Nations or on the West side.

Saw this place on Nashville Guru and just had to try it out. Man oh man are we glad we did! Really nice vibe, old video games and low lighting and cute little patio. Kinda on the loud side even being 50% capacity. Now for the pizza. YUMMMMMMM. We were recommended the Buffalo Chicken pizza by our waitress (who was very helpful and prompt in her service to us). It was just the right amount of spicy and unique without being try-hard. Very good crust. NY style size :) Good selection of local beers as well as some craft from out of TN. I can definitely see this being a late night hang as the hours post-covid begin to expand. We will return!
