We went on a Thursday night. It wasn't super busy when we arrived around 5:30 PM, which was nice. I will say everything was good from the service from our waitress to the timeliness of how we got our food to being in and out of the place fast. But my goodness it was expensive for no reason other than being in the mall? $47 for 2 burgers, 2 fries (order one they are huge portions) and a milkshake. Just way overpriced. Good experience but not worth the price.

Fantastic good. My wife and daughter split the chili cheese fries. My son got the original with cheese only and I got the single rocket. Food was good. Portions were large and service was great. Shakes were great with large chunks of strawberries and chocolate was super roch

The day we visited was right before Christmas they were busy. We got seated by a very friendly hostess who ended being our waitress. My husband and mom hadn't been before so I was suggesting ideas for them to try. We all ordered burgers and fries with cheese sauce. Everything was really good and tasty. Our waitress was great and my husband and mom really enjoyed there experience at Johnny Rockets Opry Mills.

It was a bit crowded and there is only one bathroom each but it was good food 😍 make sure when you order fries just order one cuz it's a lot! The menu is amazing there's something for everyone! I was way too hungry to stop and take pictures 😅 do maybe next time! The service was wonderful my waitress checked in on us but not too much which is how I like it she would bring a refill on drinks at exactly the right time.

The young girl who waited on us was busy with other tables, but still was trying to be attentive to us. She was friendly and fast, despite how busy they were. The prices are a little steep for a burger place, but the side quantities are big.

Very short-staffed due to "bad weather" (just cold), so service was slow. My burger was cold, like it had been sitting awhile. Normally I would have sent it back but it didn't seem right under the circumstances. The fries and shake were very good.

Sub par at the most. Burger buns where stale , burger itself was ok.. $70 should have been a lot better. Plus you charge a surcharge when using a debit or credit card . That is awful

Pretty much like all of the other Johnny Rockets burgers fries chicken and lots of cholesterol. It’s a good burger joint very similar to steak ‘n Shake. I had a sweet tea with lemon of course it’s always good. I recommend the fries well-done. The burger was actually very good. It reminded me of the ones I used to get when I was a kid they were like five for a dollar. Who remembers that?

The food was delicious, loved the atmosphere and our server Jaime was awesome. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was so good and the fires come with a lot that we only needed to plates to feed a family of 5. We will be visiting again.

Our waitstaff individual (Kayla) was awesome. Always smiling well we heard her smiling through the mask and very attentive. On our next journey back to Nashville we definitely will come back to this place.

The food was really good! However we sat at the bar and the floor wasn't swept and there was one employee who was unprofessional with her manager and the manager was pretty upset but didn't want to cause a scene. She even included myself and my companion in her conversation with her manager and I felt uncomfortable.

Inside Opry Mills Mall Johnny Rockets is a classic diner type restaurant. Burgers, fries and other sides as well as ice cream shakes. It’s what you expect and nothing overly spectacular but food and service is good and they work hard to keep the place clean.

I'd definitely go back. The food was classic diner type. I personally had a cheese burger and onion rings. The cheese burger was good and the onion rings were fried to perfection. My only complaint about this place was the, sometimes slightly, awkward feel of it being located in a shopping mall. I was sitting at a table with a half wall separating me from any passerby. That wasn't enough to take away from the above average good. As I said, I'm going back in the future.

This location is severely understaffed. The servers are waiting tables, busing tables, serving as the hostess or host seating people, etc. So it took a while to be seated even though they weren't that busy. However, they are doing a great job with the staff that they have. And the food was very good. If you go to eat at this location, please give the staff a very large tip. They are working hard, and I appreciate that they are working.

I want to start off by saying our waitress was amazing, funny and very respectful. The main reasons I am rating it so low is due to ownership not taking care of their business. It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant due to the lack of a working site conditioning unit. And they have made the table jukeboxes inoperable. This place used to be more enjoyable to visit. Ownership definitely needs to step up and do better.

Had lunch today, the portions were amazing! One of the best philly's I've ever had! There was a bit of a wait to be seated because they were short-staffed, but with a little bit of patience it was an over all great experience, once we were sat, our drinks and food were out within 10 minutes. :-) Definitely will be going back!

I'm a very picky burger eater and I have to say this place lives up to its hype! The burgers were cooked to perfection the fries are served hot and staff was very friendly! I highly recommend this place to any of my fellow burger lovers!

It is not what I remember 10 years ago. For one most of the tables had not been bused and most of the tables were empty. Maybe it is a little understaffed or possibly because it was a Wednesday instead of the weekend. But the place is still pretty iconic and it was interesting for the British visitor to the USA to check out.

We had a long wait to be seated because it was so busy but it was worth the wait. The wait while we were seated was surprisingly short, the service was quick and thr good was good, our server was really friendly, and we fed a family of 3 for about $30 with tip.

Love the atmosphere and staff. Our waitress was on top of her game even though she had so many tables to wait on she was very polite and was always coming back to make sure our glasses were refilled and if we needed anything. Totally recommend going if your at the mall and want a quit bit to eat.

Our server was great, the French fries were crispy and a huge portion for $3.99. The shakes were yummy, my grilled chicken salad had a teeny tiny portion of chicken but it tasted delicious. The blt was disappointing, the rocket dog was good.

Johnny Rocket at Opry Mills is just fine. Good is good quality, service is fast, burgers are decent with lots of choice, the location is fun if somewhat noisy. Having said that be prepared to pat Opry Mills prices. Burgers don't come with fries (they are extra) so a burger, fries and soda are nearly $14. Make it a Rocket Double and you are up to nearly $18, 3 more for a milkshake, so for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers look $60 to $70 before tax and tip. But they are good burgers!

They are only working with half capacity of the dining area so it can take a little bit of time to be seated but the waitstaff were working their butts off to deliver food, clean tables etc. Our waiter was very friendly and energetic. Food came quickly and everyone was pleased. Milkshakes are always a must.

Absolutely delicious! We decided to stop in for a burger and shake after a day of shopping and I can see now why they always look so busy! The burger was very tasty and the milkshake was perfect! My burger was cooked exactly how I like it and was explosive in flavor! My milkshake had the perfect consistency and I was able to drink it right away with a straw. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fast! I definitely recommend anyone who likes old fashioned burgers and shakes to give it a try. I also like the 50's style decor!!

Retro classic burger place, burgers are decent but nothing to brag about. Loaded tots was good, they have stopped doing sweet potato fries. First time i ate there I thought the burgers where huge but now they are even small. If you go take a double. Service is good and fairly quick but depends on when you are there. Busy weekends there is line and waiting time.

We had a short wait due to the C19 restrictions in place for restaurants. Once sat the waitress was very attentive, our food came out super quick and everything was hot and delicious. They were short staffed and could have turned tables around much faster with a few more employees. The two waitresses literally ran around and handled all of the fries. One cook handled burgers and other food. Tables did sit dirty for a while because they needed help. I can't dock them because of that though. Thanks for saving my lunch!

It was not very crowded. Waitress was prompt with taking our order. Food came out quickly & tasted great. However the floor and table were sticky. Once we found the sticky spots on the table to avoid them all was good. We let them know about the table and I'm assuming they cleaned it after we left because they didn't while we were there.

Some of the best burgers you can. That is of course if you want to wait an exceptionally long time. So, the food is top notch and it's really worth the little bit of money I feel you pay for it. But during the time we were there, the wait time to get orders to go was brdering on an hour. Let that sink in. But, if you actually enjoy your family, it's worth the time.

Rolled her eyes when she bought the food and one of the burgers happened to be wrong. We wasn't rude just wanted the burger fixed. I live going there for the diner feel... This place is very busy and is only sitting at 50% capacity due to the Covid. Service was great and the food was good. The bun was a little over toasted for me but everything else was right on the money. The fries are great and are shareable with a couple of people.

The food was very good. They used real cooked bacon instead of the odd thin sliced bacon found at fast food joints. Just beware that they are more likely to be packed on high-volume mall nights, such as on the weekend. It was worth the wait, however.

The vibe here is 1950s style. It aims to have that classic burger recognition. I got a veggie burger and it was okay, nothing spectacular. My sisters got regular beef burgers and they said it was okay, and it was a bit too greasy. I do agree that for the price of an average tasting burger, they should include fries for the price. Honestly, it’s like a Steak N Shake, just at the mall. Would I come again? Eh, if I’m hungry or at the mall craving Steak N Shake lol also! They give you too much sauce that it’s a waste. They should definitely look into giving smaller amounts.

This place pleases me. A decent atmosphere with nice waiters and waitresses, and the food is great. I god the grilled chicken sandwich with some fries (tasty) and my father got the Rocket Single with a side salad (he liked it). This isn't the BEST place from which we had food, but it is great.

Johnny Rockets is a fun place if you are looking for burgers and shakes at the mall. We visited on a very busy weekend afternoon and were greeted by our server, Cory. He quickly took our drink order while we scanned the menu. My date and I chose the Smokehouse burger, the Route 66 burger, an order of chili cheese tots and a vanilla shake. The burgers were delicious with ample toppings. The chili cheese fries…oh my! The best I have ever had! That chili ROCKS! Our shake was creamy and the perfect thickness! Cory was very friendly and attentive, despite being extra busy. (It appeared they were short staffed.) I can’t wait to go back for another order of chili cheese tots!

Three stars are for the burger alone. Service gets zero stars. The first time I tried to eat here we waited 20 minutes (and could see open seating) and were never seated so we left (there's a sign that says please wait to be seated). This time we waited about 10 minutes and the cook yelled to us and asked if we would like to sit at the bar (again, there were open booths - the waiters just didn't bother seating us). Service continued to be lacking. I drink a lot of water and my glass was empty before getting our food and the person serving us offered to refill it but then never did. Took a while to have someone ask what we would like so we ordered food and drinks at the same time to avoid having to wait again. When our food came we had to remind our server that we had also ordered floats. I personally won't be spending my money there again.

My chipotle chicken was phenomenal and cooked to perfect. The burgers are good sized and filling. For 3 entrees, 2 sides and 3 sodas it was $50. With some left overs. A bit pricey but definitely yummier than the food court.

If you are familiar with Johnny Rockets you know the cool retro burger joint with great atmosphere, food and staff dancing to oldies. Well, I feel that they have started slide. My wife and I used to love it, but we have noticed that every time we come here, it gets a little further away from the 1st few times. Of note, we have gone to Johnny Rockets 1-2 times per year for just over 15 years. The last few times, no staff dancing (which was so much fun, in my opinion), and burgers have gone from amazing to better than average. Still a good burger, but for the price I can think of many that I'd rather have. Hopefully it's just the times we've gone and the fun loving staff are still making people smile. But for us, it is not the same Johnny Rockets that we used to love.

First of all... After we were seated... It took a while 4 a waitress to come take our order... while I was waiting on my order I noticed the kitchen floor had food all over it by the cooking area... There were cooked tater tots laying on the counter beside the deep fryer... Luckily I did not see them put any of those in anyone's order... the floor was so dirty I had to take pictures... the waitresses just stood around and chatted with each other... and we were finished a good while before she brought us our ticket... So I give the restaurant a 3 which probably needs a 2 and maybe a one... Not happy with a service or the food... My hamburger bun was dried out on the bottom like it was day old bread and my hamburger was overcooked... the mate was crumbly not juicy like it was fresh... So I will not be going back to Johnny Rockets... And to make things worse we parked on the opposite side of the mall and had to walk a long long way to get there that was the reason we went to that mall so we could eat at Johnny Rockets because in the past we've had wonderful food there but was very disappointed on my last visit!

Pretty good but expensive place. Very busy, most of the seats were taken when I visited, people have to wait few minutes to be seated. Food is good though.
