Excellent food and service! The cashier was very friendly and helpfully provided recommendations. The food service was also incredibly fast! Most importantly the food was great. We shared a lamb and beef shawarma pita for lunch (they even split the pita for us on two cute stands). It was so good we came back for dinner! Highly recommend.

I really loved my Half beef/ half chicken schwarma bowl that I ordered from them! The cashier was super nice and helped advise on what to get. I got everything that was suggested for the bowl and a side of hot sauce. It was a HUGE portion and could’ve easily brought some home for leftovers. I thought it was a really good bang-for-your-buck option in downtown. Will definitely be back!

Get the Sharma French fries. Get one order for yourself and for whoever you are with because you are not going to share. They are seriously the best loaded French fries I’ve ever had. Food Hall can be overwhelming but head straight for here, get the fries, and everything will be better!

OMG, so glad we found this GEM! They say when you’re in Nashville to try BBQ, however, I say try some SHAWARMA! It was L-O-V-E at 1st bite! My daughter and I truly enjoyed the “Street Fries” We lived in Germany and loved to go to Döner spots and this reminded us of that but 10X better. The gentleman at the register was courteous and patient as I had several questions. Let’s not forget about dessert! They had baklava and Turkish delights and they were to die for!!! My 1st time trying both and I’m glad I did, they were DELICIOUS! So if you’re thinking about trying this spot, DO IT you will not be disappointed!

Picked up a few bites to eat while visiting Assembly Food Hall on a Friday night. Ordered the Dolmas and the Baba Ghanoush. Received a text within 5 minutes that my food was ready for pickup. The Baba Ghanoush and Dolmas were good. Would've tried more items, but wanted to try more items in the Assembly Food Hall. Overall, good place for some Mediterranean street foods.

Absolutely great spot for a bite at 5th and Broadway! I went on a busy Friday night and grabbed the bowl, pita & hummus, and the loaded fries and we all loved it! Great flavor and quick wait time compared to everyone else!

I really wanted to love this place as everything they serve truly does look delicious, but unfortunately the beef/lamb shawarma was basically flavorless and overcooked to the point of being all just little crispy bits instead of crispy along the edges but juicy elsewhere in the meat. It was a decent sized portion, just disappointing in being overcooked and not being flavor packed like I usually expect from a shawarma sandwich, so I didn't eat the whole thing and instead went to a different vendor at Assembly Food Hall to get something else to eat.

First time trying this and I love shawarmas. This place was actually pretty good. I would go back for sure. Wife and I got the chicken shawarma and it was really good.

The food here was FANTASTIC!!! If you haven’t tried Turkish cuisine you’re missing out! Device was fast and friendly- we will definitely be back when we visit Nashville again. We went back the next day to get some food for our drive back home and next day’s lunch. Mouthwatering!! I don’t understand the bad reviews-I can only think those are from people that consider black pepper ‘hot’. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Edible, but underwhelming. Chicken was dry, rice was bland, portion was small for the price, and there was only one crumble of feta. Nashville’s middle eastern and Mediterranean cuisine is lacking for sure

This food is so good! Everything full of flavor. Well presented. Great, quick, friendly service! What’s not to like! We live in Chattanooga, but we’ll head to the Assembly Food Court so we can eat at Istanbul Shawarma every time we are in BNA!!

This place is legit. The rice is perfectly cooked, the chicken is slow-fire, spit-cooked, the hummus and cabbage is perfectly pickled (not crunchy, flavorful). Staff is friendly and QUICK. Added this to my Nashville list to recommend to all my friends.

Hit this place on a VERY crowded lunch during the Baptist Convention. Hadn't had a Shawarma (Shoarma) in a long time and it was really good. The bonus for me was the fries - loved the flavor and quality of those. Baklava desert was a nice sweet finish. Note: We were starving, but I still think you'll enjoy it.

I needed some lunch after cycling. When I saw meat getting loaded on the vertical spit, my decision was made. The cashier guided me to the beef shawarma wrap with fries. 👍🏾. This was very satisfying and the serving size was plentiful. The tzazitki and chili sauce added nice flavors. Batman approves!! Service from staff was very good! I will definitely eat here again.

This is my go to spot when we visit the food hall. The falafel shawarma bowl is the best! It’s very satisfying if you’re craving Mediterranean food! The veggies are always fresh and the rice is cooked to perfection. The young man who takes the orders is super sweet and personable.

Can be hit or miss. First experience was 10/10 amazing; second time not so much. Food’s tasty but shawarma bowl ingredients were varied depending who was at the register, so look at the list on the screen carefully. Even so an item I asked off was added while others were missing

My girlfriend had this kind of food in Turkey, and said their food, the workers and the store itself just took her back to Turkey, the food was so good. I was in Nashville for a few days and had food at a few of those restaurants on Broadway and without a doubt, the chicken from Istanbul Shawrma was the best tasting one. 😋😋 Also the service was great and fast. 😄😄

The customer service at this place is excellent. The menu has so many options and the cashier was very kind in giving us his recommendations. He also told the chefs to be generous in their servings with us which was awesome. And the food was incredible. We got a good amount of food for a good price and it was delicious. Wrap was big. However, it could have used a bit more chicken. Fries were average. Baklava was small, which is okay, but not for $7.85 for two small pieces each half the size of a breakfast bar.
