Reviews of Hugh-Baby's
Things In Nashville
The mushroom burger was very good! The chili cheese fries were ok. The chili wasn't all that good to me. Maybe I'm just used to chili with lots more ingredients than just finely chopped meat. The smoked bologna sandwich was very good! The strawberry shake tasted like they used a strawberry sugar syrup because it was very sweet and wasn't a natural strawberry taste.
There is a great children's play area outside with a neat little slide. Overall I definitely eat here again, there are other items on the that I want to try.

These are the best double cheeseburgers and hot dogs I have ever eaten. The service is very fast and our order was as we ordered it. The chili is amazing and is delicious. I woukd recommend this place to anyone in the area that is looking for comfort food.

Easily one of the best fast-food burgers we’ve ever had. Devoured the burger in a few minutes as it tasted amazing. Coated in a delicious sauce and the toppings were super fresh. Fries and shake was classic as well. Check out our full review on YouTube: @TheGrubGuys. Follow us on IG: @realgrubguys

It takes a while because it's fresh made burgers ready to go. Hot chilly cheeses fries were great. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Cheap price but so good.

After my wife and I discovered Hugh-Baby's a couple of years ago on a trip through Nashville, it has been at the top of our "Must Eat" list whenever we find ourselves in the Music City. It's also on our list of recommendations whenever people ask us about places to eat in Nashville. They never fail to feed you well…until this time.
First of all, let me say that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the customer service. As always, the staff was genuinely glad to see you and you were welcomed and served as if you were the only person there. If only the food had felt the same way. Our two cheeseburgers were ok, but definitely not up to their standards. Hamburgers fresh off the line should never be lukewarm, but there they were. We both agreed that the burgers weren't anything more special than running through your typical hamburger franchise, but at a more premium price tag. The real weak spot of our order was the fries. For more than $2 for a fairly small bag of fries, they are usually a standout of the menu's offering. On this trip, though, they were limp, lukewarm and lifeless. We didn't even finish the bag. Such a waste of carbs.
This was definitely a ding in our book. Hugh-baby's isn't necessarily knocked off our list, but there's now an asterisk by the name.

Would've given 5 stars but the fries didn't seem fresh. Great double bacon cheeseburger. Fast and friendly service.

I was looking for a quick stop during my work break today and was actually on my way to Hattie B’s but I saw their line and noticed they didn’t have a drive thru either. So I saw Hugh’s-Baby’s just down the road, never heard of it and boy it did not disappoint. Originally I was going to go through drive thru however it was backed all the way out in the road due to it being lunch time so I just decided to order inside because it was going to be faster. The burger 🍔 was just right and the cheese was melted and the toppings all went well together. I also got fries (not pictured) the gal that was working was so sweet she handed me my burger and said she didn’t want it to get cold while I was waiting for my fries to come out. Then another gal was sweeping and saw I dropped part of my hamburger bun and offered to get me a new one and I told her it wasn’t necessary but everyone was so kind and the food was great. The atmosphere was amazing I just wanted to yell happy a great day to everyone. The staff seemed to work well together! Definitely will come back and try their chicken sandwich and shake next!

Has a little play area, the coolest mural across the way. And the food is shake shack and in-n-out combined, for a far better price! Will definitely go here again.

I saw this cute little hamburger place as I was on my way to run errands. I stopped in to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised at how yummy the burgers and fries were. Bonus they have ‘fry sauce’ *comeback sauce is the name. I now go once a week to get my fix.
My only suggestion which doesn’t change my rating-
If you are sensitive to salt ask to have light or no salt on the burger.

Great burgers, the owner of Martins BBQ opened these burger places and they are awesome. The BBQ burger is tasty and a must eat. Fries are the shoestring style but homemade in the restaurants, some like them and some don't. Shakes are real ice cream and a perfect way to eat your meal.
