Reviews of Geist Bar + Restaurant
Jon McClung
Overall, our experience at geist was pleasant but failed to meet the expectations set by the high price point. The ambiance felt refined, urban, and modern. However, we were seated in a poorly sealed outdoor area on a cold February evening, leaving my wife and I cold throughout the meal, despite keeping our coats on. At least they had heaters and one light blanket available. The service was fine. The food was not at all bad, but not one thing we ordered excited me. The house bread didn't seem much different from King's Hawaiian rolls,. The fries were good but got cold quickly. The steak was very tender and overall the meal was good, but not great for the price. With so many restaurants in Nashville, we won't be coming back to this one anytime soon.

Great service. Delicious brunch menu. Cinnamon roll is a nice shared dish. Also got the fried chicken which was very flavorful. Rating a 3 because it was crazy expensive for brunch.

Wonderful spot for brunch. Planning to go back for dinner. Started with beignets, which were fantastic, came with a chocolate dipping sauce. Next got the tomato-braised pork with baked eggs. The eggs were unevenly cooked, the pork was delicious, and could have fed two to three. Pot of French press coffee to wash it down.

My friend and I stopped by for a quick drink and appetizer before heading to a concert. The server was very friendly. The food came out quickly. I did make a reservation. Only thing is that the tables are very close together inside and I have large hips.

Loved the rich, brick-walled vibes, the outside industrial gardenesque patio, great waitress, food & drinks. There wasn't one thing we didn't enjoy! Not shown in photos were the main entrees - scallop dish and trout dish. Both were eaten in their entirety if that tells you anything!

Started the day off on our Valentines date here with brunch. I got the banana bread French toast. My husband got the cinnamon roll. Both were great. Large portions. We could have just shared 1.

Went for brunch and we lucked out. First time in Nashville and we didn’t have to wait and the restaurant was not crowded when we were there. The food was wonderful!! The atmosphere is lovely and service was amazing. I would defiantly go back. Oh and the next day we tried to go to a restaurant in The Gulch and it was a 3 hour wait. If I go back to Nashville I will certainly be visiting this area again as it was wonderful.

This review is highlighting a walk in and bar seating experience. Last minute, we decided to drop in for a small bite and some drinks and were lucky enough to grab some bar seats. Personally, I love how large the bar is, it makes having a meal and conversation so much more enjoyable when you feel like things aren't stacked on top of you. The bartenders were kind and attentive. I would go back just for the bread alone! I highly recommend if you can swing some spare time at the bar to do it!

This restaurant is esthectically divine....a wonderful example of a perfectly repurposed preserved old historic brick business. The hostess and waitress were both invitingly warm and friendly. I choose two items, the fried oysters in spinach and the tomato drenched fried egg topped pulled pork. Unfortunately for the latter, I ate the fried oysters and spinach first. I was sadly disappointed to have viewed prior patron meal photos with alot more oysters included, while my current one had two. I had read reviews that opined this dish as too salty, when in reality it is the side of hot sauce that throws one's pallet off. It was salty, but it is the added mix in of a dash of hot sauce that still worked and reacts to make it seem overly salted. This is a highlight restaurant item. Only, it needs its own bread so you won't have to leave its amazing liquidy sauce behind. I used the bread from my second dish. As for this tomato covered, fried egg and pulled pork ..the tomato sauce is boringly bland and choked any life out of the egg and pork. They didn't respond well to the sauce, so I have no idea 'what' these both taste like. If these three ingredients are not separated out within this dish so one can get a chance to see if these are tasty at all, I would remove this item from the menu.

Brunch was great! Service was good and food was pretty amazing. The only item we didn’t enjoy was the burrata, the cheese itself was great but the endive had too many onions and it overpowered everything else in the dish. Everything else we ordered was delicious! The fried chicken was my favorite!
Sean Guthrie
Delicious brunch and great atmosphere! The croque madam (smothered ham and cheese) was great, and the French press coffee was an awesome touch.
Mat Lake
Yeah, it’s ace here; super friendly, great service, lovely looking space. Had a quick brunch of banana bread French toast and coffee and it was way better than I was expecting (nothing to do with the place, I just don’t rate French toast that much) - couldn’t have been happier with my choice.
Leah Gwin Hoefling
Love the atmosphere, cocktails are amazing, and food is good. I really enjoy their brunch, but I got to experience dinner for the first time the other day, and I liked it but I don’t think it would be amongst my favorites. The fried pork tasted very much like schnitzel, which is fine… but also not what you’re hoping for at a fancy restaurant for that price point.
Lisa Mayberry
Great cocktails and ambiance. You can share small plates here or get an entree for yourself. Desserts were also delicious.
Cyndee Coleman
I was warmly greeted by two hostesses when I arrived to meet two friends for dinner. The restaurant was cozy, warm and inviting. Sadly, our server was not. Interesting menu with good variety. Our appetizer and entrees were beautifully presented and delicious. When we finished our meal, our server asked if she could get us anything else without suggesting or inquiring about dessert or coffee. When we inquired about dessert, she recited 3 options. No menus were offered. We would’ve preferred the opportunity to mull over a menu to decide. Instead, we quickly decided based on her recitation of offerings. When the bills were presented, there was a charge for Kitchen Love. May I suggest you pay your kitchen an appropriate wage or incorporate that charge into the menu pricing? Based on my experience, Geist is a one and done.
Terrence Mahnken
Delicious and creative food options. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. My family and I went to Geist for brunch and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the cocktails especially were unique, refreshing, and well mixed. Highly recommend.
FYI ... the cinnamon roll is HUGE! Definitely need 4+ people to tackle it.

Went for a friend’s birthday last night and everything was awesome. The baked oysters were some of the best I’ve had in nashville. I ordered the lamb shank and it was probably top 3 best entree I have had in nashville in 5 years.
I love cooking and I’m really good at it but that lamb shank is something I cannot replicate lol.
Also a great date spot for drinks and apps. Will be going a lot now. Mad it took me 5 years to try this place.
Christopher Heilman
A friendly and stylish neighborhood bar settled in an old blacksmith shop. The brunch fare is a step above the average gastropub. All the dishes were vibrant and appetizing. My burger was a little over salted, but for the most part the food and drinks were spot on.
Allen Moser
The food was what you would expect at that price point. It was delicious. I was a little disappointed with the grade of the NY Strip. But everything else was spot on. The Cauliflower and the Mushroom Rissoto were my favorites by far.
What set it off and made it 5⭐️ was the service. The hostess was quick and polite. The server - Joelle - was amazing. She interacted just the right amount, smiled, dealt with our requests and humor and had a great attitude about it. Order of service was good, she read our table well when we needed something she either brought it without us asking or was magically there as we realized we needed something. Definitely some of the best service I have had in recent memory. Thanks Joelle and the rest of the Geist Team. Will definitely be back.

Geist was a pleasant surprise! We had no expectations whatsoever when we chose to eat here, but we wanted to try something different with our clients who flew into Nashville from California. The food and drinks were excellent and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. We were sat in the covered patio area right next to a huge fireplace with a roaring fire. My wife loves herself a good fire, so she was immediately hooked! The food is a bit pricy, but well worth it! Definitely a place we will go back to again!
Joseph Tiller
Always have a fantastic meal at Geist, whether dinner or Sunday brunch. Service is always attentive and helpful and the food can't be beat!
Breakfast corndogs are a personal favorite!
Leighton Taylor
Sunday dinner. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was so cool. This rehabbed blacksmith shop with exposed brick really brought out the charms Germantown is known for. The food though…. Out of this world. Regretting not getting a photo of my drink but it was perfect… can’t wait to visit again.

My Husband and I went came here for Dinner and the experience as a whole was very minimal. Although the food was tasty the service, could've been way better than what was provided to us. It may also have a lot to do with us being the only people of color there which we were fine with but, when we looked at our bank account the next day , we soon realized the tip was altered without permission by our server. Delicious food but we probably wont be back for a while.
Kayla Bowling
Disappointed in the flavor of food for the price point. The 2 scallops for $22 were pretty lackluster and had a fishy odor. The short ribs and grits were good, but not as good as I was expecting for the price. The ambiance was great as was our service from our waitress. However, our reservations were for 5pm and we arrived at 4:58pm and were told to wait outside. The front hostesses were very rude when telling us that they do not allow waiting in the restaurant prior to 5pm exactly.
Laura Brock
My entree of braised beef was really good. At $17 a glass, one of these days I'll stop ordering wine. The other person with me had the scallops and they were just okay. $160 for the 2 of us plus $26 for parking.
Note on parking. The limited parking in the back is shared and open to "neighbors." We arrived at 5 pm and there were 4 others in the restaurant and no parking available in back and actually 4 or 5 cars parked in the driveway. We paid to park adjacent to the restaurant just because we weren't familiar with other parking nearby. Next time we'll know it's no hurry and will park further away.
Ruth Ann McKalip
Excellent service and good brunch. The salmon benedict was delicious and the avocado toast looked good too

I am 50 years old and have eaten many, many places in my life.
This was HANDS DOWN the BEST MEAL I have ever eaten.
Words cant describe the Lamb Gnocchi.
Each ingredient complimented the next. Nothing short of AMAZING.
The dessert was also THE BEST EVER.
The BANANA NUT BREAD is unlike any you have ever eaten.
The ambiance is also fantastic. Beautiful restraint.
I would have paid double what the meal cost and go back again and again.
Thank you,
Chef Alex and our Server Rachel.
Alicia Healey
Geist does NOT disappoint!!! We visited for dinner on our trip to Nashville and we had pretty high expectations - Geist blew them out of the water! Their cocktails are delicious and their food is even better. We got the butternut squash risotto and the cavatelli - both incredible! Also had excellent service the entire night. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to grab a nice dinner in Germantown!

I reserved a table for 6 @6pm for a birthday celebration for my best friend. Me & my friend's husband both ordered the NY steak and it was not good, lots of grissel & tough. Our server offered to replace our steaks with another choice. I chose the Scallops & the dish was good, not great. Everyone in our party was underwhelmed by their main courses. The brussel sprouts & marble potatoes as well as the cheese plate we ordered were delicious though. Our server brought over 2 desserts for our table to share (birthday) on the house & they were both amazing!
If the main courses were as good as the apps & sides, the meal would have been incredible. On the plus side, the staff is steller, from the hostess to the bartenders to our server. Everyone was attentive & friendly. Our server, Marissa C is the best there is & we received amazing service!! Marissa also took it upon herself to have the manager remove BOTH steak entrees from our check without our knowledge, which was a welcome surprise. Ambiance, service, apps, sides & desserts were fantastic. If they up their game on the main courses Geist would definitely receive 5 stars.
Tim Whitley
Must get a reservation on opentable to avoid a lengthy wait to this popular Germantown establishment. Food and service were excellent. Chicken was excellent and based on the number of order flying out of the kitchen, the crab fritters are a popular item. If you’re not a carnivore, the oyster mushroom dish was very unique and delicious.
Jason Replogle
Excellent spot we stumbled upon. I am very glad we did. It'll be included in our regular rotation. We had the fried green tomatoes, lamb gnocchi, roast and grits and dessert. Everything was excellent including the service.
Brittany Marie
Everything was delicious, I think the chef does a great job with sauces and toppings to enhance the dishes.
Emily Cox
Wow, I am floored with how amazing Geist was. I was visiting from Atlanta and The Tuna, Burrata, short rib grits and the hot Brenda made my entire Nashville trip. The vibes and atmosphere were just as amazing. I would recommend this spot to my foodie friends any day of the week. Bartenders and other servers where ahhmazing

SUMMARY. In a word: fabulous. Food was unbelievable, location is prime, parking was easy, service was great, and the price didn't break the bank. I'll 100% be back.
RESERVATION. We called and made a reservation beforehand. It wasn't terribly crowded, but I imagine it can fill up—especially during the evening rush on weekends! I've heard of people walking in, but I would definitely opt for a reservation if you know you want to go ahead of time!
AMBIENCE. The ambience is cool and inviting—not somber, like many quality restaurants. The atmosphere was lively, but still calm and quiet enough to feel like you could engage in a conversation without extra effort. Elegant vibes without the over-the-top, bougie decadence.
LOCATION. The location is perfect. It's located in the heart of Germantown right next to First Horizon Park where the Sounds play. I'm admittedly a bit biased, as Germantown is my favorite neighborhood in Nashville, but you won't be disappointed. Take a walk around after dinner and grab drinks at Neighbors, Jonathan's, Von Elrod's, or any of the other local establishments Germantown offers in that area. Or, just head to Brooklyn Bowl, and catch a show or go bowling! Parking wasn't bad either...I usually find parking pretty easily at that location a couple blocks down on 4th or 5th.
QUALITY. The quality was very good. I got a steak that was was cooked to perfection. We had ordered a cold (shrimp) appetizer and a dessert as well, both of which were perfect. I can't speak highly enough about the food here!!
SERVICE. Service was impeccable. Zero complaints. One of the female staff members who helped us is a French national, which gave me an opportunity to practice my French with a native speaker! She indulged, which was very nice of her, and it definitely was not something she had to do! Merci beaucoup!
VALUE. Geist isn't cheap, but the location, ambience, and quality of the food far outweighs the price paid. As such, I think the value is great!
TAKEAWAYS. I'll be back for sure. Great location, ambience, staff, and food (most of all!). Highly recommend!
Happily,
Clayton Cohn

Food was all very good with the small exception of the breakfast potatoes that came with the breakfast sandwiches our table got. They were fully cooked and presented well but had been sitting long enough to become very noticeably soggy. The chicken and waffle and breakfast sandwich were top notch, our server was great, cocktail and wine selection was great for brunch, I'd happily return.
Jim Glaub
One of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. Great food, great service. Bravo.
Trina McKnight
Local and popular spot for brunch (recommend reservations). I ordered the Geist burger and home fries and it was really good. Also ordered the champagne julep..very refreshing!! We wanted to try the cinnamon rolls, but they were out. I will definitely visit again!!
Jeff B
There’s nothing outstandingly bad, but…
Price point is higher than food quality merits, it’s good not great. Service was fine. There staff attitudes were fine not great. It’s was an ok dining experience at a price you expect a lot better.
Mark Lebovitz
Good dining experience overall. Seated in the enclosed patio which is not as nice as indoors and it smeller like mildew. Would avoid next time. Also, beware of parking challenges. Parking is free for street parking and in the Geist's small parking lot. If nothing even remotely close is available and you decide to grab a spot next door, be prepared to pay for $26 to park for 1.5 hours.
Lauren Caylor
The tuna crudo was absolutely wonderful. I want those chickpeas with every meal. The ricotta cocoa creme was so rich and I loved the texture.
Caroline Carter
Have been to Geist on multiple occasions and it is always so good. Brunch and dinner are both delicious!! Always recommend to people visiting.
william miller
Good food and service at brunch....a bit overpriced...cold streams in from outside if u r in corner of patio...but rest of area was fine. Real issue is the "kitchen love" charge and the required 20% tip added to "kitchen love".
Not so much the charge...ok to do both.......but u will not know about either before you get your bill. So it requires you to engage to have them removed. That is not customer friendly and is a poor business practice. Just tell your customers up front.
Cortney Ayers
The atmosphere is really cute - so quaint and cozy. The food was delicious - absolutely. You can tell it’s made with real ingredients and did not disappoint. My only pushback would be that it’s over-priced. I’d still recommend checking it out!
Bre Sapp
Place is super cute. Had a reservation but didn’t get seated right away, had to wait 30 minutes.... but they made up for it and gave us a few complementary appetizers so I was okay with it. Food was GREAT, drinks were great!
Jerry Smith
Great historic place, fabulous ambience and wonderful wait staff. Excellent cocktails but food selection for counter service on Saturday at lunch left a little to be desired as the only option was burger and fries. I love their attention to details down to the waitstaff's aprons appearing as blacksmith aprons with leather backstraps. I look forward to a return visit with their dinner menu.
Kelly Gotkin
Wonderful addition to the Germantown food scene. My mom and I dined here for brunch, and it was fantastic. Imaginative food and drinks, and the staff were friendly and attentive while also making sure we had fun and enjoyed our meals. They also offer an option to saber open a bottle of champagne, which was very entertaining to watch
Heather B.
The German Pancake is worth trying. Great atmosphere for brunch on the patio. The history of the building is interesting. Be prepared in a group they don't divide the check well. We had to have one person pay then divvy it up among ourselves. Can't give 5 stars when payment was a little odd.
William
I had to book the downstairs room last minute for a bachelor that needed rescuing. The staff at Geist were extremely helpful and understanding of our situation. The private space was perfect for our event. There is a record player with old Nirvana vinyls and many other albums that we really enjoyed looking through. The apps and food were all excellent. The bachelor got to open a bottle of champagne with a saber which I believe was included with our party reservation. That was a huge highlight of the night. Giest was also able to accommodate the bride calling in a few drink and app orders for our table which was a very nice touch. We had a wonderful time here and the food was great.
Jason Swett
Quaint, yet hip place to grab a quick bite. Proper portions, but a bit pricey. Cocktails were excellent, but id recommend hitting happy hour. I'd say it's perfect for small groups or dates. I'd come back for cocktails for sure.
Valentina Thaysa Lucas
The place is absolutely lovely. We went on a rainy day for brunch. We were sat in a cozy corner where we could watch the rain fall, the food was fantastic and our server was amazing. Highly recommend.
Emma D
Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Food was pretty good but seemed a bit overpriced. For instance, bread for the table was $9. Ordered the scallops and while they were cooked well, it was a rather small portion for the $30 price tag. Service was also a bit slow.
Terri Schumann
We stumbled into the Geist Bar the way they stumbled into Narnia: accidentally, in the darkness, drawn by a feeling. Intuition, kismet, serendipity, the Geist Bar has everything you want and things you didn’t imagine to be possible. The space is warm, patrons friendly, a community formed around conversation and truly exceptional food and drink. Ryan the bartender will mix you a cocktail of nuance and magic while welcoming you with his easy charm and careful attention. You will want to belly up, move in, and never ever leave. I wish you all a chance yo step into Geist. You will be happily transformed. We were.
Kevin Hagler
Food is made for Instagram. Looks good on camera, but lacking substance. Great service, nice date surroundings.
A Martin
Everything about this place wins. Food quality, setting, parking, staff. Just love it.
Kenneth Major
The food was good, and service and ambience is great.
With that being said, the food wasn't special for the price. There are so many other places where the food just pops for the same price.
The best thing we had by far were the Brussel sprouts. If I was to come back, it would be for drinks at the bar and an order of those.
Anthony Williams
Came for a weekend brunch and this little gem did not disappoint! Built in a converted old horseshoe factory, this restaurant & bar incorporates much of the original layout and charm, a beutiful reminder of simpler times. 5/5 would recommend!
K Young
I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with shrimp salad. The cinnamon roll was decent.
Derrick Grace
Incredible presentation by the bartenders. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good. The fried beignets were a real treat as was the French toast. The chicken sandwich entree wasn't anything special, however. Will definitely return to try more menu items. Liked the initial visit and first impression. Recommend.
Tim Evko
Excellent service, better food. Bold flavors all across the menu, and drinks were excellent as well
Camille Turner
Great drinks and food. It's a little gem I ignored here in Nashville for so long. Definitely returning for dinner as well as brunch. @melanatedpsyche

Wish I had taken a picture of my black cod dish. It was melt in your mouth delicious!
Allie Filipek
Just wanted to share that there are no high chairs or changing table. Unfortunately agree with the over priced reviews (one cinnamon roll was over $10).
Jonathan Delgado
Amazing cocktails! We had the brussel sprouts and the bacon jam with sourdough and it was knee-slapping good. I think it brought it tear to my lady’s eye...so damn good.
Tammy Barber
The atmosphere was wonderful, scallops and short ribs were so tasty! Little ways off Broadway but worth the trip!
V Cerron
One of the best Old Fashioned - Basil Hayden’s. Great Lamb and Octopus plates. Must visit when you come to Nashville.
Sherrill Thompson
Great drinks, good food, a tad overpriced for what you get. But I’d recommend to someone looking for a nice night out.
Don
Great place for brunch. Lots of unique dishes on the menu. I had a ham and cheese sandwich covered in an egg and country gravy. Absolutely delicious. Our server Lauren was great and a big help with the menu.
Theresa Rock
What a delightful experience!! Our server Rachel could not have been any sweeter! Very attentive!
The food was incredible! I had the scallops which were so tender. My husband had the roasted half chicken both dishes did not disappoint.
It was a very enjoyable dining experience!!
Tyler Hargrave
Top 5 best brunches we’ve ever had. Top 2 best avocado toast and likely #1 if we’re being honest. Really really good. The building is old and you can feel the history, but an upbeat inviting atmosphere really makes this a brunch-spot to remember.
Carissa K. Seidl
I love this place! The vibe is laid back. It’s beautifully decorated. The cocktails are so good (The Good Mourning is delicious). The food was delightful! I highly recommend your next brunch be at this restaurant!
Pat F
Great experience - food was excellent and the service was even better! We came in for brunch on Saturday and had a mix-up with the reservation (my fault). Most restaurants probably would have turned us away, however, the staff at Geist were extremely accommodating and were still able to get us seated quickly despite the busy Saturday brunch crowd. All drinks were fantastic and I definitely recommend ordering the cinnamon roll for the table.
AndreaB
The service was great and the food was delicious! Their cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly as well.
Carli Kennedy
We went to Geist last weekend with a large group for my Bachelorette party, and our experience was AMAZING!!! They surprised us with an incredible private room (cool speakeasy vibes!), I got to open a bottle of champagne with a sword (such a memorable moment!), and the food and service was incredible. All of the gals agreed it was one of the best dinners we’ve ever had! Thank you for giving us all such a special night!
Benjamin Rosenblum
There’s a theme to a lot of these reviews, which is that Geist is vastly over-priced. At a restaurant where an entree should be $24-34, it’s more like $40+. Appetizers are like $17. Cocktails are $15 and they are pretty generic.
For context, City House, located a block away with a James Beard award winning chef, is about 30-40% cheaper. Le Loup, also a few blocks away, is a gorgeous bar with the coolest drinks in town, and also cheaper on average for a much more compelling product.
The restaurant is adequate but the value isn’t particularly good when compared to its peers.
Ryan Lacy
We went for brunch and the food was tasty but they apparently have a hard rule you’re not allowed to customize your order. I don’t like onions and asked for my burger to not have caramelized onions and they told me no, I can’t customize my burger. Not that scraping onions off my burger is that big of a deal but I don’t understand the restaurant’s desire to serve food they know will be wasted. Also, telling a customer, “No” over something that would make them happy and save the restaurant time and money just seems idiotic. For this price point I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
Allison
Amazing entrees and drinks. Comfortable laid back atmosphere.
Stephen Bohn
Food was okay but overly salted. Not worth anywhere close to the price point (read: both expensive AND not a good value). Service was attentive. Cool outdoor area.
Karin Balsley
Geist is a fantastic restaurant! The food, drinks and service were all better than expected...and I typically expect a lot. We came in for our reservation on time, but didn't realize that we had booked an outdoor table. It was 95 degrees and that wasn't happening. So they had us sit at the bar and they got us a table inside. It took a little while because they were fully booked, but they made it worth our wait. The staff was so nice. The manager came to the table and set us up with a few appetizers because of our wait. It was a friends birthday, so they even got us all a round of their sherry margaritas. It was a nice atmosphere and overall great experience. Food was amazing, as usual, and the drinks were perfect. Had a great night.
Adam Redd
Mediocre at best. Service was slow. Food wasn’t seasoned well and for what we paid we expected more. Not horrible but the food quality was at best more like a chain restaurant.
Perez Lynn
My husband and I were very excited to try this place. Appearance wise, it didn’t disappoint. All the people that work there are beautiful and the atmosphere is inviting. The food, however, was just ok. I had the pork and tortilla chips breakfast bowl. My egg white was not cooked well and I only got one egg which I found odd considering how expensive this place is. I also didn’t have very much pork. I had plenty of chips. My husband got eggs Benedict and his bun was black on the bottom. Considering we left $130 lighter for two breakfast and two drinks each, we were disappointed. If you’re going to be seen, you’ll love this spot. If you’re more about the food, there’s better options for the money. For the record, our server was great.
Dewanna Samms
Joelle was amazing! The food was delicious from starter to entree! We'll actually be visiting again tomorrow!
Stephanie Griffith
It's only really ok. I've been twice with my husband after they reopened and neither one of us was particularly impressed. Sadly we've decided it's not worth the price and will not be returning anymore.
South Florida Delivery Assembly
Nice little spot to have some brunch and go off with your day The restaurants very nicely set up and they're very nice in there
Kevin Stumpf
Visited Geist for the fourth time on Feb 18 and, as usual, it did not disappoint. The food was great and they were very accommodating of my wife's food sensitivities. Interactions with our waitress were a little short but the restaurant was beginning to fill up and they may have been short-staffed as many places are these days. I absolutely recommend Geist for a nice night out.
Heather J
Geist is goregous. I love the exposed brick and the lighting. We only enjoyed drinks but they were very good and a great presentation. Highly recommended.
christopher rambo
Food was good, but definitely have had better at those prices. Service was so so, but that is almost understandable as everyone seems under staffed. I would not rush back, but would join friends for dinner before a game or something.
Sara Humes
My husband and I tried this spot a couple weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were delicious. We ordered the oysters for an appetizer and they were so good! We ordered the rabbit pasta which was mouthwatering. We also ordered the pork entree which fell off the bone it was so tender and it was phenomenal. The service was also great which made our dining experience even better. I would definitely check out this place if you are in the area.
Kim Fennell
sophisticated without showing off, every single menu item that we tried was delicious. We had adventurous friends with us in this beautiful spot.
Aaron Fishbein
Beautiful bar, one of the coolest most interesting in town. Yes it's exposed brick, but done in a unique way in a very old building. Good atmosphere with cool service.
Victoria Davidson
Very nice restaurant. Quite pricey, however the food and wine was very good. Went with bachelorette party for dinner and we sat in the back room. This was nice because we felt extra special having our own "room". Having the bride-to-be open the champagne with a sword was a one-of-a-kind experience! Loved it. Server was knowledgeable and friendly.
Robert Cook
Cool space and excellent brunch menu and food. Nice music selection as well.
Elena Berkenbosch
Omg this was the cutest little stop! There were 7 of us and we sat at the bar, the bartender Ryan was incredible and took the absolute best care of us. The food was to DIE for and the cocktails were amazing!!! Definitely recommend!! It was a Saturday night, and we were still given top notch care and help. What a great experience!!!

We dined in for dinner, and our waiter was phenomenal! So sweet and caring towards taking time between our chats and ordering. Food was paired very well. Will say the crab fritters tasted mediocre and flavorless. Just fishy, that's it. Needs seasoning of some sort, or a spicy dip instead of the plain paring. Other than that, great food!!
Jerry Malott
Really great service and food. Bartender even made an old cocktail special no longer on the menu since they still had the ingredients. Highly recommend for service, food and ambience.
Candice Donisi
Everything we ate was delicious. The atmosphere here is wonderful: candles everywhere, comfortable seating, refurbished wood... the only concern we had was that it was a little dark! Our waiter brought us extra candles which helped, but I wish there was just a smidge more light! It is a little on the pricey side, but the food was definitely artfully curated. Probably not a place I can go often, but a nice place for a special meal
Baylee Pirtle
We rented the private room here for a friend's birthday dinner and the overall experience was great! The starters and food were delicious. The drinks were so refreshing and service was incredible! The private room is downstairs away from the main restaurant area and has a record player/old records you can control yourself. Such a fun evening!
Austin Woods
The food, amazing, the espresso martini, pretty good. The service. Amazing.
We went for brunch and my fiance got their shrimp and grits and they were out of this world. We also shared the donuts with café crema and those were equally as amazing. Despite having chilaquiles many times in my life, I was not a personal fan of this restaurants, but won't fault them for my bad taste buds. They had no problem taking it back and changing the order or just taking it off the bill since I kind of lost my appetite. Many people were eating it, it is a fan favorite, just not for me. Don't let this review stop you from ordering it.
Literally an adorable and Instagram post worthy restaurant.

Tourist from Texas: Place was okay. I enjoyed the space. Atmosphere was alright. We had reservations at 7, didn’t get our table until 7:20/7:30. Not really much social distancing. Got the filet, and it was sub par. Not much taste. Been to better places. Was excited to try this place since it seems it is a local Nashville spot, but was a little disappointed. Our waitress was nice and on point, though. Table was small for 6 people with food and drinks.
Angela Wilson
Jacq is my absolute favorite human - best bartender. Ryan is a superstar as well. Love this place 5 stars
Nicole Wilson
Great food! Larger drink selection would be cool.
David Brassfield
I generally think everything good in Nashville is in East Nashville, however, Geist is the rare exception. We had Carrots, Beef Tartare and their salad. Each delicious and seasoned perfectly. Their cocktails are spot on as well with both traditional and unique takes. Highly recommend.
Eleni Pappelis
Love the vibe and food is phenomenal! I went for dinner with friends and was impressed with the restaurant itself. The food was perfect. We can’t wait to come back for brunch!
Jacoв Davidson
Had brunch there & everything was fantastic! I recommend the shrimp & grits and OF COURSE the cinnamon roll. There is still so much more to choose from. The prices are higher than standard but it was worth it to me.
Robert Sudol
Very tasty dishes. Options are extremely limited. A seafood pasta without the seafood was still charged for full option. Friendly staff. I'd suggest make reservations in advance. Last minute availability seems limited to bar room seating.
Adrianne Curran, Realtor with LAH Sotheby's
My friends and I found this to be a completely delightful restaurant. We sat at a table in the bar area where many regulars were watching a football game. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The entire place was intimate and cozy. We all enjoyed our dinner. My filet was cooked perfectly. There was a very nice wine selection. If I lived in Nashville, I would be a regular.
Brock Richards
Would have loved to tell you how the food was. But the hostess turned us away because we were one minute late for brunch. And that’s because she wasn’t there to see us when we walked in.
Shannon Cunningham
We loved having brunch here! The cinnamon rolls is delicious... and huge! The deviled eggs were super flavorful. We definitely want to come back to try out the dinner menu!
jennabeejustice
Went for brunch yesterday. Definitely stood up to its reputation - excellent. They offer everything from traditional to creative dishes at reasonable prices. Being a fan of Avocado Toast, I loved their twist on it, with almonds, sprouts, and thinly-sliced radishes. It was as pretty as it was delicious. All of the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Nice vibe - tall ceilings, comfy padded chairs. Go early - it’s sardine time come noon!
Chrissy
I made reservations here on a whim for dinner before Hamilton and was not disappointed. The scallops and drinks were perfection. My friends said the duck and dumplings was one of their best meals ever. My husband’s steak came out well done when he ordered medium but a new steak was out within five minutes. Our waiter was sure to get us out in time for showtime. A beautiful ambiance and great background music. My new favorite spot in Nashville.
Ashley Pelikan
My husband and I went decided to try Geist for brunch, and it was okay. The service was great, and the restaurant was cute. They food was mixed though. The Geist burger was delicious, but the chilaquiles were not good. We were also sat right next to a speaker which made it hard to talk to each other.
El Summers
The bar is fantastically chic...and the drinks were delicious too! We sat on the patio which was warm and cozy even on a chilly Nashville night. Great spot to enjoy tasty meal with friends or family!
LaToya Newson
Don't leave without trying the whipped feta! It was breathtakingly amazing!
Anna Kemp
Had reservations and got seated immediately. Server was quick, nice, and friendly. Food was delicious! Wonderful place for brunch!
Jessica Lindner
Walked in with my husband and a friend on the Sunday evening after Oktoberfest. Everything was delicious and delightful, and service from James was wonderful. Sit in the Champagne Garden if you can - it was a great fall evening, and we were near enough to the fire, so it was on point ambiance. House bread was wonderful, as was the grilled octopus and tartare that we shared. I had the duck and dumplings for my entree - truly one of the top dishes out I've had in a long time. Shared a few desserts which were also good.
There are so many restaurants popping up in this city, so it's always nice to find somewhere that offers a wonderful experience all around. Yes, this is an expensive restaurant, but if you like good food, then it's well worth it. I'll definitely be back, both for dinner and to check out their brunch.
Thomas Britton
Amazing food and service. A premium dining experience that doesn't break the bank. Do yourself a favor and order the scallops and the octopus.
Randy Stewart
Was so good, will be back to try other items on the menu.
Ron Conn
Mother's day. Both ordered the blacksmith breakfast. In the top five breakfasts I have had. Potatoes were crispy on outside and creamy on inside. Served with a bearnaise sauce which was unnecessary. Potatoes were that good. Eggs over easy were perfect as were mom's scrambled. Biscuit better than Biscuit Love but not Lovelace. Service by a knowledgeable person who knew her stuff! Over all a great experience. Highly recommended. If you don't go, I'll take your seat.
Rigs G
Great food, excellent service, and solid cocktails.
Nick Taras
what an enjoyable meal. outdoor dining option, attentive servers. we ordered the salmon served over bok choy cooked perfect. shrimp & grits with a smooth tasty delicate sauce , so fine. fried green tomatoes, some of the best.
Mason Revelette
Very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the bar staff - great drinks and great food. I’ve really enjoyed this place. A lot of ‘chef inspired’ restaurants have this air about them that guests are ‘lucky to be there’ and that’s it’s all about the chef - not here and I really appreciate that. There is a lot of cool creativity with the menu without being WAY too out there. There is also solid portion sizes and I always leave full and satisfied. It’s a beautiful, dim and comfortable space and will be returning soon for a great dinner. Thanks, guys.
Patrick Ward
Small plates at a decent price. Service was fantastic and the food presentation was brilliant. We recommend picking 5 plates if you want to feel full between two people. It can add up fast, but will all be worth it at the end of your meal. Location wasn't my favorite and the environment was lacking. If you can get past that, then you will really see why it is a gem.
Joe LeMense
Seated an hour after our reservation which was irritating.
Normally Id say it was worth the wait cuz the food is great but the wait was too long.
Hostess stand was clearly befuddled. Finally my wife pointed out that I’d been sitting on a bar stool for an hour. I have a bad back and walk with a cane and it was starting to hurt.
We were then seated right away.
Kim Sailstad
PHENOMENAL place!!! Unique and fresh menu.... and their desserts? WOW. Super glad they’re back after last March’s tornado tore through our neighborhood. Ambience is wonderful, friendly staff and delicious food. Plus a very cool outdoor patio area! Bravo guys, and welcome back!
Jordan Medlin
Amazing food, great cocktails and wonderful service!!! So happy we found this place
Caroline Zalatoris
Our reservation was for 6:45 pm but when we arrived the Derby party was still in full force so the bar and restaurant were loud and crowded. Fortunately the server recognized our dismay when we were told that they were setting up tables on the "porch" and managed to find us a table in the back near the kitchen about 20 minutes later. The Chef provided a complimentary cheese board which was thoughtful and appreciated. The meal was outstanding - we had the filet, the half chicken and the halibut and all were very good. Service was very good as well. One thing to note was that there is no valet parking and we had to pay $17 to park down the street at a pay lot.
Jennifer McMullen
Beautiful restaurant and if you have the opportunity to sit outside, do! We had the crab ravioli - it was light and lemony and delectable. I also ordered the Pink 75 and had to stop myself from finishing it in two drinks, so good! The service was wonderful, staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
Miranda Lewis
This restaurant has it all: excellent food, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and a very cool atmosphere. They reccomend a tapas-style dining experience. I was part of a party of four so I got to try so much! The charcuterie board was an excellent start. I loved the scallops and the burger. We had great vegetables too. Really can't go wrong. More than the food, the servers and bartenders were able to make food and drink suggestions that put the whole experience over the top. Prepare to spend a good amount of time here, but it's time well spent!
Tim Plakon
Had a party of 12 at the Chef’s table downstairs. Anyone in sales looking for an impressive experience for your customers, this is your spot. Excellent food, service, wine list is amazing. Very cool ambiance. Ask for David to be your server. Thanks so much Freddy for for an amazing evening.
Patrick Stephens
Had dinner at the bar. Charlie was great! We felt welcome and the food and drinks were excellent!
Steve Kujawa
Awesome place. Great cheese board. Wonderful service!
Zach Durham
Geist is great food and drink in a great location. The cocktails are boozy and very flavorful. I generally only have one drink before or after dinner, but the drinks were so good I wanted to keep going. My wife ordered the broccoli caesar for her meal and I had a steak special with mashed potatoes. My wife was so fond of the broccoli caesar that she actually ordered it again once she finished the first one. She went into the meal not all that hungry and wanted something light but the salad was so good that she had to get another. Steak is a bit difficult to screw up, but Geist got all of the little things correct. The steak was prime and very flavorful. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare with coast to coast color and was served in its own juices after resting. It was sliced and topped with flaky sea salt and butter. The cut was a NY strip so the added butter complimented the relatively lean cut perfectly and the flavors were excellent. The mashed potatoes were great, not chewy (over-whipped) and well-seasoned. We very much enjoy Geist and go back as often as we can.
Matt Palomaki
I went the day before OCT fest so they had a simplified menu as they prepared for the onslaught of people. Burger was great - bun was hearty yet soft which I prefer. They had $3 happy hour Stella when I was there. The bartender was mixing drinks which looked top notch but I had a beer. Fries were more shoestring style which I am not a fan of. Looking forward to a return visit when they have a full menu.
Cassie Jernigan
I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Great atmosphere. Impeccable cocktails. Delicious food. We had a friend birthday there this past Saturday and they went above and beyond to make sure had an excellent experience. I will definitely be back and bringing friends!
thomas laws
Great Mother’s day brunch experience. Didn’t have a reservation but were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our wait staff was very attentive and also very friendly to our kids. The Geist burger is definitely on my list as one of best burgers in Nashville and was very well cooked. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her roasted mushroom German pancakes. The biscuits bacon and apple butter/honey kept our kids more than happy. All around a great restaurant experience. Will definitely be back again soon!
Angela Pacheco
I have been in a few times, each experience different (bar, table, large group) and always excellent! We most recently stopped in on a Friday evening just after opening to have a cocktail and celebration. Reservations are recommended and since we didn't have one for the group we told the team went we were celebrating. The team was amazing and got us a table and provide above and beyond service helping to make the day and experience one of a kind.
Olivia M
This is a super cool restaurant inside of a very old building (1800’s I think- can’t remember the year)! The vibe was really cool and very instagrammable. We sat on the covered patio which had heaters, astroturf ground, and optional plastic walls to close off for bad weather days. It was not only beautiful but the food was super delicious and the craft cocktails were incredible!
Betty Williams
I don’t even know where to start, I have fell in love at first sight with Geist. Thank you David for giving us such spectacular service!
I consider myself a foodie, so I always want good food. However, if I go out to eat the first necessity is great service. Nothing ruins a dinner faster than poor service, in my opinion.
Geist was a great surprise and made a fantastic first impression. The ambiance was great, the service was fantastic, and the food was a phenomenal.
Nick Landry
The bar was 5⭐️ but the restaurant was 3⭐️ for the price you’re paying. Drinks were amazing, the winter old fashion, espresso martini and champagne julep were all excellent. As for the meal, the bacon jam was, well, the jam! 3 of the six meals ordered all were good and fine, I wouldn’t waist time w the steaks. Each of the 3 steaks, the filet ($36) and the 2 New York strip ($50 each) were sliced by the chief and the temps were off on 2 of the 3. You’d think if you sliced a steak open you’d see the temp before delivering it to the table. What’s the purpose of slicing the steak straight off the grill? Stop the cooking? Would the heat escape and get cooler faster while at the table? Mine was. Service was great and very attentive. Also our party of 6, to pay separately (3 couples), the total check had to be divided into 3rds. My wife and I ordered 2 steaks, cocktails, apps and deserts (the most expensive tab of the 3) yet the other couples helped us pay... seems like this is something they could’ve made happen. Environment was also fun and kept all the original history of the building, the music turns at 10pm to more club environment which made me feel young again!
Alex Knodel
The brunch here is really amazing! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
Jenna Zalazinski
Delicious, small plates. Pricey & the portions weren't huge but the food was definitely spot on. Service was great & our server was very friendly.
David Horn
Rolls/butter were fantastic, as were the burrata and asparagus. Oysters were ok, and service was pleasant but uneven.
Jennifer Mollica
The food and atmosphere are both wonderful. The coffee is the best. Everything our party of 11 ordered was delightful. The prices are seem high but once you taste it you won't mind.
Chad Williams
From the minute we walked through the door, we had excellent service. Our waiter was David. He had great recommendations and was very prompt. I had the filet. It is the best steak in Nashville. I’ve eaten at all the steakhouses and Geist beat all of them with one steak on the menu. My wife had the lamb ragu. It was the special. It was delicious! We had the beignets dessert. It was delicious!
David, the waiter, gave us a tour of the champagne garden and the room in the basement. He told us about some of the history of the building as well as the restaurant between dinner and dessert.
This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Nashville!
Lloyd Loveday
Drinks were great. Bartenders are wonderful.
Below is the Barracuda.
Charlie Harrison
Absolutely love this place! Exceptional service which is rare in Nashville.
Adrian Moores
Amazing food, centrally located in Nashville close to the action, Geist has a great menu and a fantastic ambience. The outside terrace and champagne garden are must sees but the inside is quite inviting if it’s cold out. Service was fantastic too. The best place I’ve eaten in Nashville.
Katherine Kistenmacher
Went here right after getting in from the airport. They were closing to prep for the dinner, but were friendly enough to let us eat here. The wait staff was super nice and friendly. Lastly I got the burger and it's bun is what made it amazing.
Greg Anchondo
Fashionably Old was delicious. Great food.
Lindsey Johnson
Tonight my sister and I dined at Geist for the first time and we were incredibly impressed! Not only are the food and drinks unique and delicious, but the atmosphere might be one of my top favorite in Nashville for dining. The have restored this beautiful building and kept the gorgeous indoor brick and highlighted it with the perfect furniture and accessories. The bar was also a great space and had a good energy.
But best of all was the service! Everyone from the welcoming host, to the fun bartender, to our adorable and sweet waiter, to the awesome manager - they definitely deserve 5 stars on their own! It was my sister birthday and they even brought us housemade cookies and limoncello- which was even better than the limoncello I had in Italy!
We will absolutely be back!
Our absolutely delicious food and drinks were the Pink 75 drink, steak dish and fish dish!
Skip Howe
Very attractive restaurant but just a little overpriced and upscale for me. Service was good food portions were small. Beer was expensive!
Natalie Stone
Great food, interesting drinks, nice ambiance. Very much enjoyed the Cynar Julep and Opal Martini. Food is tapas-style and farm-to-table. The steak was perfect. Noteworthy: they have a parking lot behind the restaurant.
Dana King-Esquer
Best place to eat in Nashville! Our server, Eric, was amazing- funny, attentive, professional. And the food is top notch, and the GIANT cinnamon roll is “heaven on a table.”
Adam C
Brunch. Service is top notch. Chilaquiles, shrimp and grits, biscuits, all solid. Great atmosphere everyone was enjoying themselves. Can’t wait to try dinner service.
S K
The best way I can describe my experience with Geist was underwhelming. Made a reservation days in advance but when we arrived we started being told how it’s “not ideal but we won’t be having a table” but couldn’t give a reason why - seemed unsure exactly why herself. Mind you this was after 3 text message exchanges (which I confirmed to their auto booking bot, and even a real human being) and an email to- so apparently reservations aren’t understood or mean anything.
We were eventually placed at a table between the entrance door and a staircase leading down to the basement, which was more trafficked and frequented than the entrance door; at one point we had a chair lifted up over our heads and asked to duck briefly LOL. It all began to feel almost comical how out of rhythm or unorganized it all felt.
We ordered a handful of things, the salad and tartare was delicious, as were the scallops. The steak was somewhat tasteless (but good in quality) and the broccolini we ordered never arrived at all...as compensation we were given desserts that were good in ingredients as quality, but nothing overwhelming.
All in all for the experience they are shooting for, and price they command it just doesn’t all add up and I can say from experience there are significantly better places of this caliber in Nashville to dine at.
Carrie Hay
Geist is AMAZING! Everything is on point from the ambiance, decor, and wait staff on the inside to the awesome patio and fireplace on the outside. They have a wide variety of cocktails and the food was great! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend!
Ryan Decker
For being a place that was recommended for cocktails, the list was pretty uninspired. Dinner also felt a little rushed by the server, although the service was good overall. One main course was really salty. Really liked the ambiance.
Jordyn Stutz
My boyfriend and I went here for date night/my birthday dinner. I had the jailbird cocktail and it was so yummy and my boyfriend got the perfect martini and said it was one of the best martinis he has ever had! for an app we got the buratta and we contemplated taking what little we had left home to put on toasted bread because it was that good. For dinner, he had the filet mignon.. SO good. I had the duck and dumplings- I literally closed my eyes with every bite because of how delicious it was. We will definitely be returning!!
Kevin Kong
Bread here is great, the maple butter was especially a nice touch! Definitely set up my expectations high (which might be why I didn’t think the entree I got was as good and won’t recommend it).
Michael Chavez
Great food. Great drinks. Great atmosphere.
Donald Hawkins
Great food and service. Fried Green tomatoes are amazing. Appetizers are well sized. Green salad big enough to split.
Shelby Bray
Make a reservation! It’s definitely a fun little spot to take anyone who may be visiting you from out of town, but not a cheap brunch spot. Also, just know that while their biscuits are delicious, so not expect a transitional southern biscuit texture.
Shannon Cherry
Eclectic atmosphere and a cool vibe, cinnamon roll is a must!
Laura Dunn
GREAT place! They have chosen for a smaller menu, for which they make everything excellently! Great drinks, it was quiet and the service was excellent. Value for the price is high. Highly recommend!
Sweetie
Food was overpriced for mediocre taste. However, I really enjoyed our server. She did an amazing job!
Ben Davies
Amazing food but the ambiance really sets the tone for the night. Good spot to meet friends but definitely a great spot for a romantic date night. Great service too! Will be back!!
Carrie Finnegan
Love, love, love the vibe of this place. The food is great too!
Erin McGibbon
Highly recommend the giant cinnamon roll. It was the best part about breakfast - next time I go I'd be happy with simply the roll to share and an iced coffee!
Glen Marconcini
I always enjoy the food and ambiance at Geist. My only complaint is the wine mark up.
Our $13.99 bottle was marked up 4x to $56.
I
Winston Scott
Dope lil spot, food was on point, service was tight, drinks were great can't complain
Taryn Hryc
Delicious for brunch from an out of towners POV, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine - and ask for Eric, he was the best!! Started with biscuits with sausage gravy, pancakes and the cinnamon rolls (A MUST) then had eggs benedict for myself. Group of 8 to split apps, it was more than enough. Looking forward to visiting again.
Roger Beachy
Drinks were great! Staff was interactive and hilarious! Vibes are off the charts with the industrial, restored blacksmith shop theme!
Cayce Rhea
Absolutely love this place! Impeccable service, excellent wine and food selection! Perfect for any crowd and overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Not like any place I’ve been in a while and unlike any Nashville scene I’ve ever expereinced. Can’t wait to go back soon.
Emily Rose
Was seated outside for a large bachelorette group. The staff were so great in being fun and helping our bride to be open the bottles of champagne with the sword. What a great experience
Susan Hausler
I have been following this Restaurant on FB since my Bestie, Lesley told me about it. This past weekend, I was in Nashville for our National Convention with ONEHOPE Wine. Sunday was the Day to Experience this restaurant.
When we arrived and were seated, I asked to speak to the Manager in Charge, who happened to be Matt.
He came over and welcomed us. He also was aware of ONEHOPE Wine, as they had hosted aFUNdraiser with our company .
Our waiter , Dewitt, started us with Mimosas... after deciding what NON-CALORIE items we were going to have, we gave Dewitt the first part of the order. The 3 of us decided that we would share what we deemed appetizers. With that decision, we ordered the Cinnamon Bun, which was the size of Texas and the Bacon Jam. More drinks were in order.
After consuming the appetizers, and a couple of drinks...each, onward to the main meal!
The 3 items that were ordered was The Omelet Special , Shrimp and Grits, and The Quiche.
More drinks, and More drinks....
As we ordered our last round of Drinks, Our CEO and Staff came into the Restaurant. Obviously, we ALL knew the place to go in Nashville.
As I mentioned earlier, The NON-CALORIE Items unfortunately did not follow the rules...WHAT IS CONSUMED IN NASHVILLE, STAYS IN NASHVILLE!
Sadly as I returned to Trinity, Fl, woke up this AM, and crawled to the Scale....I WILL LEAVE IT AT THAT...
MR GYM, yes I will see you Tomorrow. Would I return to Geist... In A HEARTBEAT...
Domenic Delegato
Great friends, really tasty food and good drinks, awesome fun atmosphere and the service was outstanding!!! Will definitely go there again and again, check it out you all it's well worth it, you won't be sorry...
Miranda Kenney
Loved our experience here. It’s a super cute and chill place with great food. The service lacked a bit but overall it was a great pick. We’d go back.
Liz T
Great setting and food. Small wine list but some good choices.
Aly Young
Food and drinks were good, but the wait staff didn’t seem very attentive and the food was quite expensive for the portions, moreso than other restaurants of its type. I would’ve been more willing to pay that much if I was blown away by the food. But it’s a cool place, the courtyard is great, and I’m willing to try it again!
Jeff Mader
Fantastic dinner and drinks, food was delicious, atmosphere was awesome. Went back again for dessert and drinks...phenomenal!!!
Chad Hornick
Would recommend to anyone. Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks. I can't imagine ever leaving the bacon jam off the order, it's incredible!

Great place. Good food, great drinks!
Pam Larson
We had a laid-back, delicious brunch here on a rainy Sunday. Excellent food and service! (Note: Not a deal-breaker, but had to pay for parking.)
Sara Croft
First time here. Amazing atmosphere. Craft cocktails and beer. They have a champagne bar as well. Be willing to pay at least $10-$15 for a drink though.
Robert Erlick
Excellent example of a converted restaurant. There's a lot of the old building character left intact. Food is as good as the building itself.
Sue Ulintz Mosovich
Delicious brunch! Had a wonderful omlette special and my party ordered gorgeous fresh begniets. Comfortable and unhurried, with efficient friendly service.

Drinks and starters are excellent. The salmon was fishy, the duck was a skip, and the chicken was super salty.

Very cool setting but the food lacked flavor. The Burrata was overpowering. Steer clear.
Chris Griswold
Great drinks in a really cool spot.
Lee Pierce
Loved this place. The decor is quaint but rustic. The food was delicious, loved the charcuterie and cheese plate.
Belinda Korte
What a great place. Last minute decision to drop in and celebrate. Thank you to our server, David for adding to the celebration! We will most definitely be vack!!

Delighfull, cozy, attentive service and fresh, vivid flavors. Must try their Cinnamon Rolls! Beware they are huge.
