Went to brunch at Ella's only after being shut out at most every other restaurant in downtown Nashville but this wasn't setting for second best. In fact this was one of the best meals I've had in Nashville period. The brunch was spectacular. I went back up 5 times. The baked chicken with cheese was baked perfectly and juicy. The cheese grits were the best I've ever had. The whole hog sausage was the best I've ever had. The fruit was fresh. Yogurt parfait perfect. The bacon was crisp. The eggs with chives were outstanding. The baked oatmeal with fresh fruit and nuts was delicious. Everything was simply amazing. SOOOOO good. $32 for brunch was a steal. Ashame other restaurants had lines when Ella's was sitting there waiting. Our waiter, host and manager were all friendly and talkative.

Amazing restaurant in a Hyatt of all places! Sat at the bar with exceptional service from the young lady (Brittany?) with KALI tattoo on her fingers. She was absolutely spot on with her recommendations. I had The Recipe which is an Old Fashioned with a Buffalo Trace bourbon. Very well executed and the care she takes in making it is apparent - no cutting corners here. Tried the NY Strip medium rare with Broccolini and it was cooked to perfection and they didn't trim too much of the fat so a normally very lean strip had enough caramelized fat to be very tasty! I ordered the fried potatoes as a side which can literally feed 3! Shared it with folks around the bar! Ended with an espresso martini (not on the menu) which instead of the Kahlua it normally comes with, I asked for extra vodka and it was sublime!!! A subtle touch of sweetness and coffee forward with a hidden vodka punch and a head of foam!

Mixed feelings about this place. Had a wonderful lunch here. The food was amazing. Went for some coffee and then the tomato bisque, turkey sub and antipasto salad. The food was absolutely lovely and that in itself was 5/5. Unfortunately the lady who served us was terrible. She brought us over some water and left it for us. Not bothered to even pour it in the glass (we were the only 2 people in the restaurant). She then got inpatient with us and said “I’m still waiting” (as in to take our order). She brought all our food over at the same time despite even asking us if we wanted the soup and sub separately (which we did) So by the time we finished the soup, the fries and sub were cold and soggy. She stood around with her hands in her pockets doing nothing, chatting away while completely neglecting to take any finished plates off our table. The whole image was just terrible. It was worse than it sounds. Compared to the outstanding service in Nashville. This was disappointing and we really resented even tipping her.

Great stop for breakfast. Not crowded during the off season (January). Great service. Recommend the Southern Eggs Benedict and the Brisket Hash. One little piece of ham on the All-American 😠

Had an amazing dinner & experience at Ella’s. Go to this new restaurant before it gets slammed! The carrot tart and the burrata starters were so good and much larger portions than we expected. I had the cauliflower entree and it was so great and unexpected - way better than other cauliflower steaks I’ve had elsewhere. Had the best espresso martini afterwards. Daniel was the perfect server & the space was really beautiful. Was shocked at how few people were in - I know this place won’t stay under the radar for long.

The most outstanding breakfast in a LONG time! 7 of us came to Ella’s for breakfast and we had the best meal. The food was just delicious. Between the 7 of us, we had the Caprese Fritta, the Classico, the Spicy Sausage Scramble, the Power Bowl, and the Benedict. Each of us agreed that it was the best breakfast we have had while visiting Nashville, and the best of 2022 overall! We already agreed to come back tomorrow! Thanks to our sweet waitress Heather for making this so memorable for us.

Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is bright and airy. Service is on point and matches the quality of the food. I ordered the Arugula and Apple Salad with Chicken and also appreciated their help finding gluten free options on the menu. Note this restaurant is within walking distance of several other hotels and offers seating for large groups.

I can honestly say that I had the best steak I have ever had here at Ella’s!! Wifey and I came for date night - we started with the Pizette, a good-sized portion for two, then my wife ordered the short rib and I went with the 12oz New York Strip with a side of the crispy potatoes. Guys. That steak was absolutely incredible, the meat was so tender and juicy and the marble melted in your mouth like butter. It was seasoned well with sea salt, and had a very light cheese (parmesan I believe) melted on top. 10/10, I was geeking out to my wife after every bite. The “side” of potatoes were massive! Huge portion - super crispy, absolutely delicious. My wife’s short rib was also very tender and came apart just as it should. The service was fast, efficient, clean ambiance, great feel. 100% recommend, give this place a shot!

The atmosphere is upscale and the food is delicious. Lots of thought goes into every detail including how the napkins are folded. The service was fast and friendly with everyone working as a team to ensure that the experience was good.

Went here on our 16th Anniversary! The food and service was amazing. Had the ribeye and cooked perfectly the way I asked. Rare with a Great sear! Great atmosphere and Ricky was great! Glad to have found this place before it becomes popular!

The people at this place are what makes it so good. Our waitress, Savannah, was awesome. She was so sweet, helpful, and engaging. She seemed to enjoying working with people and it made the experience so pleasant. Our food was really good as well. We were able to get a same day reservation for Friday evening That was awesome. It is also a really pretty restaurannt.

I recently had dinner here with my husband, we got the whipped ricotta app which was fantastic with the grilled bread. We both ordered the Braised Short Ribs and it was just as good as it looks. He meat fell apart and the polenta it's served on was just right. Really nice place with easy parking across the street. Only downside is that it's very noisy because of the high ceilings and pen floorplan. We had a hard time hearing each other as it was very busy. May not be ideal for a date where you're still getting to know each other. Fantastic food, will be back for sure!

Went for brunch today and honestly everything was just OK for me it felt more like a free breakfast at a hotel and they threw in salmon. Maybe if it’s not a Buffay maybe they’re better at dinner time. We spent $100 and honestly it was just OK

Absolutely fantastic! I was in town for work and sat at the bar. The bartender recommended the chicken, which I would not normally order, but took her recommendation and was not disappointed. For dessert, I was recommended the Italian cake, again amazing. So moist and served with a salted Carmel ice cream that truly had a salty finish. The bartender, Rae, was fabulous. Very attentive and provided great suggestions. The manager, Adrian, checked on me before and after dinner which I really appreciated. Honestly, it’s the little details and these folks nailed it! 10/10 will recommend to friends.

came here last minute with a group of four after a long day at the convention center, so we were hungry! the food was absolutely phenomenal: the homemade ricotta, the prosciutto, the gnocchi, the short ribs… i could keep going LOL! our server was also incredibly nice, helpful and very knowledgeable of the menu! the open kitchen design sets the tone for the dining room, and the inside is very open and welcoming! definitely would recommend!!!

Hidden downtown gem! Our dinner at Ella's was so good. From appetizer, salad, entree to dessert, all delicious. The torn burrata and prosciutto appetizer was so unique and great! Good server and good vibe; not too loud and not overrun with tourists. We will be back.

Myself and two friends had dinner here last night. The food was delicious, the decor was so cute, but most of all the staff was amazing. Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. Adrian (who I believe was the manager) was so kind and generous. Be sure to check this place out! We will definitely be returning!

Food here was good, salmon was a little bland and gnocchi seemed to have more truffles than actual gnocchi. There’s a few kinks to work out; server didn’t know they were out of a bottle of wine we ordered, the hostess came and told us and offered a different one, but then didn’t tell the server. Also said they can’t split checks, which seemed weird for such a new place. Would maybe try happy hour next time!

This place blew my mind. I don’t know why this restaurant isn’t packed — easily one of the best dinners I’ve had in Nashville. The chef, the wait staff, and the bartenders were incredible. More people should know about this but I selfishly want to keep this hidden gem to myself lol

Great secret place many have not heard of. 20 people in line at pancake place next door, we sat right down at Ella’s and enjoyed friendly service, awesome espresso and a very satisfying breakfast. Fresh, tasty and fast but not rushed. Enjoy and you are welcome.

Just dined here prior to a concert at the Ascend Amphitheater and am so very impressed! Daniel was the most amazing waiter and the food was incredible. We dined from the vegetarian menu as something new and were blown away! Definitely visit here as I know we will be return diners.

Honestly a hidden gem in the downtown Nashville area! We live in the area and have been to eat here at least once a week for the past few weeks. Every time I’ve gone back- always great food, great service, great bartenders! Have to give props to the chef, your dishes are amazing. I’ve had all the apps; the meatballs and pizzette are my faves, the burrata is very good too. Can’t go wrong with any of the main entrées- my fave is the chicken Milanese.

All the places we wanted to go were completely booked so we "settled" for Ella's. It was FANTASTIC! I'm so glad we ended up here. The food was great and our server Daniel was extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We'll probably come back next time we're in Nashville.

Great food and cheaper drinks than the bars on Broadway. Miley was fantastic at the bar. My wife and I enjoyed chatting with her every afternoon during our 5 day stay. We are already planning another trip back to Hyatt Centric.
