Reviews of Coco's Italian Market & Restaurant
Amanda Armstrong
So my husband and I stopped and ate dinner here after a day trip to Nashville. We had a recommendation from a friend for Coco's and I must say we were highly impressed. This small little business not only houses an amazing restaurant but also an Italian market with fresh made items. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The service was great. Our waiter was awesome and could recommend items off the menu and I must say he was accurate. Take my advice and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Don't be fooled by the low-key facade. This place is the most authentic, delicious, down-home Italian food here in Nashville! Don't forget to leave room for the in-house made gelato. You will NOT be disappointed!
The owners, Chuck and his Mom, are likely there making sure you have a top-notch evening. Be sure to say hello.

I went for the first time after going to an event at CoCos event center next door. The food is so good! I got the cheese ravioli in marinara sauce. I also got a second basket of rolls. I enjoyed the bread, but some of the others on my party wanted it more crispy. Just something to keep in mind! I ordered a slice of oreo cheesecake to take home and it was delicious! It is a little pricey, but not unreasonable for the quality of food you get. Pretty sure I'm in love with Italy now 😍.

If I could give this restaurant 10 or more stars I would. You can tell this is authentic Italian food. Tried the fried cheese Ravioli for an appetizer and I got the lasagna and oh my goodness!! Both of them were out of this world good. I can't wait to come here again!! Oh and a must try is the homemade gelato and of course do not forget the cannoli!
Not only is this an Italian restaurant it is an Italian market. You can buy cheese, bread, already made dinners, pizza, honey, olive oil, wines, chocolate....etc. The list goes on and on!!

There was no wait when we went. Waiter was attentive and answered our questions thoroughly. The brushetta was delicious. Everyone also enjoyed their meals. Large portions so we all took some home with us.

First off my waiter was amazing. I wish I got his name.
Ill start with environment. Its very loud and crowded. Me and my boyfriend came here to celebrate and it was very hard to hear anything. Constantly had to repeat ourselves. Theres a store in the front that has a lot of delicious handmade stuff. However it is SO expensive. A bag of pasta is over 8 dollars. I get that its made from scratch. But that just isnt enough for me to justify spending that much.
We started off eating the Toasted Cheese Ravioli. It was really good but I was surprised by how little came. 5 pieces for me and my boyfriend to share. For 10 dollars I was expecting a few more at least.
I got the pesto fettuccine. I have never had pesto and ended up not liking it. I made a comment about it to the waiter not expecting anything but just making friendly conversation and he said hes switch my dish out to something else. Thank you so much to him because I am pregnant and thought I was going to cry from how sad I was over not liking my food. I had decided to get what my boyfriend got, tortellini in a blush sauce.
The spinach tortellini was AMAZING the portions of both dishes we got were great compared to the appetizer. Im sure my food was good for anyone who likes pesto, however I was practically drooling over the tortellini. Were planning on coming back just for that and this dish and my amazing waiter are purely what is keeping this at 4 stars.

Been eating here for years. Really good food with a large menu that's also not overwhelming. Everything from their sandwiches, pasta, and pizza is fantastic. Highly recommended for a nice meal

Coco’s is our go-to for Italian food even after moving to Clarksville in 2017. We will drive to Nashville just to eat here every time! They have salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza…and don’t get me started on the gelato and desserts. You have to keep coming back just to try a new dessert each time. I like to buy gifts for the holidays in their shop too. One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Nashville.
Ramona Hogan
This place was so good!!! The subs we got were amazing. The bread, cheeses, and meats were so fresh and flavorful. Got an amazing tasting Cannoli !!! The market inside the restaurant has all kinds of Italian foods. Got some hard to find sweet pepper drops. Love the family history of this place.
Lauren Hunt
Absolutely delicious!! My family loved it. Excellent portions. We all wish we would have gotten the Manicotti after taking a bite (INCREDIBLE) but the Chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, and Chicken Marsala were all wonderful as well. Cannoli was also delicious.

What a beautiful slice of Italy we have here in Nashville.
The front door has you walk right into an Italian market full of items you, or at least I, cannot find anywhere else (such as Amazon or your local grocery store). Real olive oil, maraschino cherries of all flavors, pasta made with love, and desserts of all kinds. My goodness, I wasn't expecting to buy anything. But I did. Truffles and a slice of blueberry lemon cake. Oh my gosh.. I'm tellin' you. This place has got to be doing Italy proud.
The actual restaraunt is to the left after walking in. The room is dim. Lit with flame lights. Giving off an orange hue. There's another room that's inclosed, but outside. Which is where we sat. The room was equipped with heaters and coolers. Colored string lights and a beautiful bar decorate the outdoor area.
The food and my cocktail were absolutely delicious. The bread, the dough, and especially the cheese, are on another level. It was extremely satisfying. I mean, the cheese is something you would need to experience on your own. Truly. Truly delicious. Loved it and I would definitely come back.
As far as having anything negative to say, there were just a couple of details. And this is not to hinder this place at all. The overall experience was fantastic and the food unmatched. However, parking was a pain. As per Nashville tradition, we parallel parked on the side of the building. Half on pavement and the other half 2 or 3 inches down on gravel. That, and our waiter was sooo slow. Took quite some time to get a drink going (was out of simple syrup on a weekend) and then to take our food order, he just disappeared for quite some time. Enough time to get my usually patient wife thinking about just leaving.
That being said, when served and when greeted, all employees were lovely and the experience felt genuine.
I will be back. I'm feeling a date night with the wife here. Get us a babysitter. This place deserves a second go. And probably a third.

Oh wow, you've never had it so good when it comes to real honest to goodness Italian food! Not only is this a restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating tbag serves traditional dishes (and offers travel services to Italy!) but it has a fully stocked Italian market inside chock full of meats, cheeses, and desserts. From imported dried pastas, sauces, to the little tins of sardines and anchovies straight from the coast. Take a seat and you'll be treated to the best pizza, pasta, Arrabbiata, Timpano and an extensive wine list that will complement any dish. Cheesecake, truffles, and gelato will round out the night.

What can I say about coco's that hasn't already been said? This little place is so cute and absolutely delicious! Our server was extremely kind and watching him joke around and take care of a table with two older women was heart warming. He really went above and beyond. Also he had great hair and a really cool style. I wish I caught his name!
The food selection was vast and it was so hard to choose because we could tell everything was going to be good. I got cheese manicotti and caprese to start with. We ended with a bunch of cannolis and good god was it amazing. Will definitely be back to shop in the market and for more amazing service!

Highly highly recommend!
I came here for lunch with a friend and was very happy with my experience. My only regret is that I did not have room for dessert! Lol.
I enjoyed the extensive wine menu (there was a sign that said half price bottles on Wednesday FYI!!!).
The bruschetta was phenomenal! It’s made with rosemary focaccia and is a masterful blend of flavors!
I very much enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana although next time I will ask for blush sauce with my pasta. My friend had the tortellini with blush sauce, and I tried a bite and that sauce was very good!
There is a bountiful dried grocery section, along with refrigerated and frozen Coco’s to go!
All in all, a very cool place! I highly recommend checking it out
Annie Lemly
I was blown away from the first bite. The Bruschetta was AMAZING. Probably the best I have ever had. I got the Lasagna Bolognese and my husband got tortellini. Both were fantastic. The service was fast and the server was friendly. I highly recommend going here.
Ali E9
Extensive menu, which made it tricky to be decisive - everything sounded delicious! Started with zuppa di cozze. Very satisfying garlicky buttery white wine sauce. I got the cheese ravioli fungi with pesto and added sausage. My partner got the veal parmigiano, also with pesto. Both dishes were hearty and delicious with a good balance of sauce and pasta. We finished our meal with scrumptious cannnolis, one pistachio and one chocolate. Fantastic, planning to return to try other fare soon!
Trevor McGregor
One of the better Italian restaurants in Nashville. Pasta and service are great. Servers are always friendly and accommodating. We always have to stop in the market area to pick up made in house pasta and sauce to take home.
Jon Dugger
Solid place. Great Italian. Been here forever. Glad it’s back and running full service. I’ve always liked coming here and after the pandemic, I think the food is a touch better. Wasn’t bad before. But man, well worth a stop.
Natalie Leon
I’ve been wanting to try this place since I moved to Nashville and decided to order some takeout last night. They were extremely busy so must be a great place, I will have to try it in person instead but I would advise against ordering takeout. My boyfriend bolognese was delicious but my chicken piccata had no chicken! Even the lady working to-gos seem baffled. Good thing I checked before I went home. After pointing it out, i was given immediately after dry chicken that was so hard and tasted like it had been sitting out all day (which is probably was just extra chicken laying around). The pasta itself was very dry and had minimal sauce. So dissapointing and some of the worst piccata I’ve ever had :( I will be trying dine in only and stick to something simpler!
I will say the to go lady working Saturday evening (8/6) was great and apologetic and offered to make it right with a dessert. It seemed the kitchen staff was being difficult to her although it was their mistake! I am only giving 3 stars for her customer service.
Stephanie Richey
So Sis and I did a new thing for brunch today. I've passed @cocositalianmarket for years and heard of their brunch, but never brought myself to stop and try them out. We initially planned to hit up the Waffle House but both of our regular locations were crowded. So I motioned for Sis to "follow me". I was pleasantly surprised at the bill of fare. The customer service was great and the prices were very reasonable for the portion because, as you know, Italian culture eats!
We had:
Fried cheese w/ marinara
Abruzzo which is an egg scramble with Italian sausage, mozarella and fresh spinach w/ rosemary and parmesan potatoes
Breakfast Lasagna: Sis chose pancetta as her meat but it's made with a thin homemade pasta, spinach, mozzarella, and topped with provolone
Crepes: filled with Nutella and fresh fruit (y'all those grapes were the sweetest I've had in a while 😋😋😋
All in all our experience was memorable and we will definitely return because we enjoyed the aerial tour of Italy while we ate 🇮🇹❤️
They do have vegan options and vegetarian options. And make sure to shop their market for the best in Italian foods, seasonings, desserts and olive oil 👍🏽
Gopinadh M
One of the best Italian food I ever had. Great music in the background and the food is delicious.
Michelle Gamza
My husband and I were here twice this week, the first visit this week was fantastic. The appetizer was delicious, the pizza and eggplant Parmesan was just perfect and the wine suites my meal perfectly. Our server who was amazing!! He just was one of the best servers I have ever had and made our dinner an even more pleasant experience. Then there was today.. Our server was meh.. In fact the owner had to find him in the back, no refills , nor were we asked. The coffee was cold , but he was nice enough to make more. We ordered dessert this time and no cheese cake, which is one of the specialty cakes. The entrees were delicious, but for the price get the antipasto for an appetizer, delicious and filling, skip the cheese wedges. The were good, but totally overpriced.
In the end, overall pleasant and I hope our first sever is making what he should because he was amazing. This place is a gem, and not what I was expecting, here in Nashville. The food is delicious, quick to the table with service that seems to be dependent on the day.
Heather Brown
The food is excellent! The fried ravioli for an appetizer is a must! For dinner, yoy can't go wrong with a pizza, chicken parmesan (pictured), meatball sub (pictured), or chicken marsella. You have to leave room for dessert! The towering cheesecake is enough for at least 2 people or grab some Gelato!
Tasha Poduska
I don't know how they do this, but their tomatoes taste like they came from Italy. From the drinks, to the cheesecake, to the bolognese sauce, everything was authentic. They're been in business for 55 years and I think the quality has only improved year after year. You can also take a trip to Italy with the owner. Atmosphere is like a happy Italian family restaurant. There is also a food market there as well. We can't wait to go back, even if it's just for the cheesecake and coffee. My new goal is to try the whole menu 😋
Erik Harris
I don't know why it has taken me a few years to come back to this gem. Being originally from NY, this is traditional Italian-American food at its finest! You can even purchase packages of genuine Italian bakery butter cookies with rainbow cookies in the shop, along with Jewish bakery staples of babka and rugelach (also spelled rugula).

Looking for the best Italian restaurant in town? Look no further! As soon as you enter, you feel like you are in a charming city in Italy. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Be sure to try the lasagna - it's one of my favorite dishes! They have all of our favorites, from spaghetti and meatballs to chicken parmesan and classic favorite Lasagna. Portions are large, so you’ll leave feeling full and satisfied. Coco's is the perfect spot to enjoy a true taste of Italy. Its casual and welcoming atmosphere and generous staff make it a great place for fun, relaxing nights out or romantic date nights. Their desserts are amazing. We were stuffed after eating the main meal...but, because we know they deliver great desserts, we took home a slice of Chocolate Cheese Cake and we enjoyed every bite of it!
Abbey Webb
The best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. The staff was so welcoming, attentive, and fast. I got the lobster ravioli - it was out of this world! The flavors, texture, and heat were all paired perfectly together. Cannot wait for my next visit because I will be coming back!
Brian Gelet
I can't believe how good this place is. It is something that a Foodie would really enjoy. Not to fancy entire but kinda authentic. The food is unbelievably good. A real jerrsy joint. The pizza(pie) is thin and maybe the best I've ever had. The meatballs definitely were the best I've ever ate. AND the desserts were amazing(I don't believe they are made inhouse but very good. I recommend the Lemon cello cake🤦♂️) ...

Let me tell you about Al... He was an absolute amazing server. He made our evening go as smooth as can be. We had a party of 8 people, he never wrote anything down. Everything came out exactly how we ordered it. We never ran out of drinks or had to move plates to make room for more.. He was on top of it.. If more servers were like him I'd be broke.. he worked and never stopped. And my family noticed as well. Let me say this. Tip your servers!!! Al we love you and will be back next time we are in town to visit. The food was the best Italian food ever! When we needed boxes to go and Al went ahead and put fresh bread a sauces to go in the box to make it easy on us. And don't get me started on the deserts... We might have ordered one of everything. Don't judge. He even got us a baby Canoli for my granddaughter Sophia. Just make a trip, you won't be disappointed.

Decent experience.
The restaurant is part market / part restaurant. We had a party of eight that was reasonably accommodated.
They gave us plenty of time to socialize but the food was only lukewarm and was relatively mediocre with no one in our party, particularly happy or particularly unhappy with their dinner.
They charged extra for bread before dinner and some of the rolls were burned.
Service was decent although a few things were forgotten.
We did buy two dark chocolates from the truffle case that turned out to be quite good.
Michael Magistro
Italian deli with a variety of baked goods, cheeses, and imported dry goods and wine. Great place to browse for those not so easy to find Italian specialties. A small restaurant is attached. A great menu. We ate a salad with an antipasto and homemade ricotta with a mozzarella shell, rolls. A taste of Italia! Nashville's hidden gem.
Debbie Butner
Delicious authentic Italian! I had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. The pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked. The pasta was generously stuffed with a blend of mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, and provolone cheeses which was delicious! The marinara sauce was thick, rich, and tangy…. Made with fresh ingredients like the sweet basil growing in raised planters behind the building.
My husband had the Italian sub with flavorful meats ( sliced hot capicola, mortadella, pepperoni), spring mix, sliced tomato, and red onions served on fresh bread.
The pasta salad was vinegar based, but a little too sweet for us.
Love the grab and go section where you can pick up meals to cook at home. Great selection of Italian grocery items, homemade desserts, gelato, and truffles!
Charissa Ragsdale
Good variety of some types of items, not very well stocked but we enjoyed the trip to get some specialty ingredients.
Justice H.R.
Delicious pizza! Environment is cute, the market is super fun. It's definitely a specialty store, so expect to see higher prices for grocery items. Menu prices are mid-range, but you can find more affordable items.
BENEDICT DOMINIC
Accessible fine dining. These folks were great about helping me book our large party! The food was excellent, as was the wine. They took care of us well and were fun while they did it!
hilda crow
Great place, love the food and atmosphere! Our waitress was AMAZING!! The antipasto was very good, the Felisa insalata with salmon was excellent!!! I was so happy to see some low carb friendly dishes. Will be back and will bring my friends!!!
Only drawback I had was the parking was hard to come by. If there's an event in the event center, the parking is a hassle. I will come early next time for sure.
Terri Brown
Veal parmesan! Delish as is everything I've ever eaten here. Wonderful service, family restaurant, friendly faces.
I. Fish Cheap
We, well someone from my party, called to make a reservation & was told they don't accept reservations. Party of 25 for my friends 60th birthday. Meeting the receptionist, she said yes, reservations at required for large parties and already had a party of 20 booked and couldn't accommodate us. Major bummer! Well, they worked our group in with the understanding that we had to be out before 7....and we had to sit at multiple tables.
We made it work, & so did they. Anyway, my first time there...I ate the buratta and got the antipasto platter...it was good, but didn't knock my socks off...my wife for cheese ravioli and asked for a meatball on the side... it came in the same bowl...moot.
Server, Finn was awesome...if I go another time, gonna try the cheesesteak pizza

This is a staple of West Nashville Italian food. It is comfort food for certain. The fried ravioli is a must for starters. Each pasta dish is a portion for two. The chicken Parm and lasagna Bolognese are my favorites. If you're not a fan of spicy go with vegetarian lasagna, you won't miss the meat. Don't forget to save room for dessert!
Sheena A
First time in and won't be the last. Had dinner there last week and could have sampled my way through the menu. Parmeasan Chicken is my go to but I decided to venture out and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED...it was DELISH! I got their Lasagna Bolognese. Even grabbed some to go on my way out with their take home meals! Can't wait to take the family back! Can't forget to mention they even have a little market in there and when you leave don't forget to grab some sweet treats truffles and Gelato!
Allyson Cole
Great customer service, our server Chantel was very personable, made sure we got fresh bread, and kept our waters filled. The ravioli fungi left much to be desired- the Alfredo sauce was strangely sweet and the dish on the whole had a very interesting flavor. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but the mushroom ravioli would definitely not be my recommendation! My friend ordered the tortellini Elliston and enjoyed it. Each pasta dish is a generous portion that comes with a roll, so plan for leftovers or sharing plates. Also the cannolis are great (sadly, the kitchen ran out of cannoli cream today, but we will be returning).
stacey sproull
This is a gem of a place, authentic Italian. The food was exceptional, from the appetizers, fresh bread, sandwiches, antipasto, wine, gelato, cannoli and espresso, etc. The service was great. They have an adorable market with a wide variety of specialty items. Will return

I should be punished for not reviewing Coco’s Italian Market sooner.
Need authentic Italian food in the Nashville area? Go to Olive Garden. Seriously, NO! DON’T! Also, please, Please, PLEASE, stop calling OG Italian food. It’s not, not even close! Coco’s Italian Market and Restaurant is the OG in Nashville! I don’t know how long it has been there and I am ashamed it has taken me so long to darken the door. Okay, enough mea culpa.
I have not eaten anything there that has not been excellent! The pasta is always cooked perfectly. The sauces are always seasoned well, little to no salt, pepper or parm is needed once it comes to your table. Just perfect all the way around.
Even after you eat you are not done because they have frozen meals that you can purchase and take home with you! The Lasagna Bolognese is my favorite. (They also sell it in place across town so if your jonesing….). Anyway, they also have gelato, (not sure if they make that there or not) they do have cannolis that we always have to buy a dozen because only half of them make it back home to Franklin.
Coco’s Italian Market & Restaurant is our new go to place and place we take visitors to. Locally owned and operated, not a corporate chain! Shop local!
*as usual I do not know the owners of Coco’s and everything said here is my opinion gathered by my personal experience*
Tammy Sharp
Fantastic food and service. How did I not know about this place for 20 plus years???
Debbie Baldwin
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is fabulous and the waiter was fantastic. It's not fancy but it is amazing.
Ellie Joy P.
Its a love-hate relationship! I love the place: I brought here also for dinner my friends from Germany and they loved the local vibes of the place! They enjoyed the food...but I found my pesto cheese ravioli olio to be waaaaay to oily! The pasta was floating in oil... the taste was good, but whole dish was way too oily to enjoy it. Also, they metal chairs from the auxiliary space, don’t even have a pillow to sit on. Not too pleasant for a lady.
Donald Catron
This is, by far, the best Italian food I have had in the Nashville area and the tiramisu is worth its own stop. We will be coming back many times.
Amie
Best Italian food in Nashville. Meatballs were so incredibly full of flavor. My son gobbled up his chicken marsala. Will definitely be back.
Greg K
This is probably some of the most authentic Italian places I have ever had. That’s coming from an Italian from Brooklyn. Coco’s is phenomenal! Come give your taste buds a one way ticket to flavortown.
Bobby Jackson
I've driven passed this place a few times and being a Uber driver, my riders in the area I've picked up have told me its a great place. A deli market as you walk in on the right and a restaurant on the left for dining in or pickup.
I finally got a chance to stop in mid day before dinner to grab something to eat.
I was greeted by a hostess. I asked him if it was ok for one person to eat or if this was a more family style place to eat? He pointed to the deli telling me might be better to order from there. I was confused since I wanted to try the experience and service. As I was standing over by the deli looking around and confused what to order, a more experienced probably a manager behind the counter walked up to me asking what would I like. I let him know it was my first time and wanted to sit down and eat but was told this was more for family style. I assumed I was turned away so I didn't waste table time for servers? I don't know. I will let you know though I did leave a good tip for my server at the end.
The second person who approached me was very helpful and didn't turn me away. He got me a menu and showed me the best items they serve and let me sit anywhere I wanted. I will say he must have been a manager or part of the family? He was helpful.
I sat down in the patio. A lot of families and people chatting. Def. a place that can hold parties and big groups. Inside little more dark, intimate but you don't have to be dressed up in this place. Come as you are!
I sat down and ordered the Brochette. I was told by a few riders in my car that was what they were known for. They said its one of the best in the area. As you see in the picture, you get 4. I will have to agree, this was one of the best style I've ever had. Usually this dish can be over run by garlic or tomatoes. This was well balanced in ingredient and a nice drizzle of balsamic over it. If you try to share, it will go quick with 4 pieces for $8 as appetizer. I could eat this for dinner alone!
Onto the dish I ordered. I ordered the Cheese Manicotti with homemade meat balls. It was so good I had to save the other half for later.
Right temperature and the meat balls weren't dry. I recommend for the extra $3 add the meat balls. I even saved couple of the brochette for later. Perfect temperature and not burning my mouth. The pasta great too. I don't like it touch. It was al dente if anything. Cheese was creamy and also taste was great.
I'm not a bland person and from the red sauce to the pasta, it all tasted fresh. This place is def homemade and you can tell.
My over all experience food was great. Service wise the woman I had wasn't as personable as much. She was running around with other tables and just stopped by a few times but she did make sure my water was filled, if I had everything I needed. I wasn't there looking for a friend but would have been nice to be more personable. Italian places are usually that way but felt more out of the way and had to eat so she could get another table. But again, not a big deal.
Def. be back and great for taking a date to or just want to hang with friends. They have wine, and even take some deli stuff home or sauces.
Joy Green
The atmosphere and service were top notch! Our server, Ken or Ken-tastic as I like to call him, really made the night for us. He was so knowledgeable on wine and food, witty and enjoyable. Thank you!
Jimothy
Cute market with all sorts of options, and the chicken alfredo was amazing. I had just had a terrible experience at PennePazze nearby and was bummed to find out that Villalba's had closed down, but this place made up for it with their great food.
Melanie KRD
Wow, SO good! We had the lasagna bolognese with meatballs and the eggplant parmesan, both dishes were delicious! The bread is fantastic too. Pet friendly patio that is closed in and air conditioned, great for us while traveling through and craving a nice sit down (homemade!!) meal. Absolutely reccomend! We got dessert too, but to go... I know it's going to be excellent 😋

The Baked Ziti is fantastic, and the pizza is HUGE! Every dish we tried is pretty heavy on the cheese. The vegetable lasagne tasted great, with a ton of cheese - but with that much cheese, more vegetable would be nice. On the whole, it was a very good meal. Casual and cozy with italian foodstuffs for sale, and very attentive staff.
Jessica (Jessigirlrae)
My favorite Pizza place by far. Pizza is mostly cheese and toppings with a beautiful tasty cracker crust. There is not a pizza I enjoy more. My boyfriend enjoyed the timpani. Finished off with a lemon berry cake slice that did not last long enough to take a picture.
Great environment. Beautiful desserts.
Dollie Davis
Great food... bruschetta is the BEST! Very nice enclosed and heated patio where you can bring your dog even when it's cold out. Very nice people. One of our favorite places in town!
Linda Hill
Really authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Love the market. Best cheesecake in the city.
Parking is a challenge

Want a home cooked Italian dinner with a local, neighborhood feel? Coco’s is the place for you. Great service and fast! Lively atmosphere with 2 bocce courts out front. Try the homemade pasta special! The antipasto appetizer is large and fresh. Homemade meatballs are delicious in their secret sauce. And the Pizza, well it brings me back to my NYC days.
Shanny Wag
Food was delicious, dessert was amazing. Can't go wrong with this family Italian restaurant
Phillip Riggins (PhilFeedback)
Very nice Lunch today at Coco’s. My wife had the Manicotti and I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. We shared with each other and both dishes were delicious. The Cannelloni for dessert was great as well.
Mickey Berry
Great dinner in a real, authentic setting. Young waiter was terrific as well. We spent twice as much in the store as dinner cost!

Got lucky and went to Coco’s because the line at Hattie B’s was too long to wait. Lucky because Coco’s food was amazing. I wish I had more pictures of the food but it was so enticing that I forgot. My said it was very comparable to food that she had while she was in Italy. I said that it was easily in the top two places that I’ve had Italian food. My friend had the Italian sandwich and debated on getting another sandwich just to have at home later. My wife had the Seafood Arrabiata and it had just the right amount of spice that it didn’t over take the pasta or seafood. I had the Timpano, Italian “drum” pie- Southern style; I couldn’t stop eating it. Also the desserts were on point, the tiramisu was really well done, and the cannoli was so good I came back for seconds.
The deli and store is just the same.

Cozy Hidden Gem in West Nashville. Upon entering the door the Savory smell of breads pasta and Italian goodness greet you. We waited almost an hour but didn't seem to mine. We drink wine and looked around the market. The food was well worth the wait. You can't make a bad choice on the menu. All of the options are delicious. The cannolis are a must-have. Real Italian food. With a real genuine Italian feel. Highly recommend. I will never eat Pizza Hut Papa John's or any other Pizza. This pizza is um um good!

Coco's Italian Market catered our wedding for the cocktail hour appetizers and the reception dinner and they were absolutely amazing from the planning all the way to the execution the day-of! We had the caprese skewers and crab stuffed mushrooms for passed appetizers and had raving reviews from our guests! We had a spread of lasagna, chicken fettucine alfredo, caesar & house salads, and the most amazing cannoli's & tiramisu for dessert - we were blown away by the value! Working with Carol to get everything planned was so easy and her attention to detail was greatly appreciated as she helped walk me through the process! We had glowing compliments about the staff from our guests and the night went off without a hitch! Thank you SO much for being a part of our day!
Amanda Peek
Pleasant experience with Bocce outside!! The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and fast, and it's at a good location!! Go try it, yourself! 💯 You won't be disappointed!!! Phenomenal!!
Angie Wood
Tameka was our server out in the bar area. She was fantastic! Prompt, funny, helpful with ordering. Everything you would want in a server! She takes her job seriously and exceeded all our expectations! If you go, request her! Coco’s if you let Tameka go somewhere else, HUGE mistake. It will be hard to find someone else to fill her shoes on everything she did for us tonight!
The food was very good! I had the cheese ravioli with a few meatballs added. Delicious! This place is a hidden gem. I would recommend this place and the server will be my request on my next visit!
Christina Gailes
Amazing! Every time! Best server, Chantelle! So full, dessert had to go directly in a to-go box! You can taste the freshness at Coco's.
Tina Burris
Omg fantastic authentic Italian food! But like everywhere these days short staffed and the two servers worked their tails off. Highly recommend and worth the wait!
kelli griffin
We enjoyed an authentic Italian dinner.
Sonya Mcghee
The food is good, but the desserts are SOOOOOOOO GOOOD! The lemon blueberry cake…..omg!
Pavan jalla
The food was good , the staff made sure that all the preferences are noted and served accordingly. Quality of bread was not so fresh but it was okay . Main entree was good.
Ryan Chidester
Pretty good selection of wine. Food tastes great! Don't expect fancy plating presentation, it's more about the taste.
Kevin Gordon
My family loves this restaurant and try to visit each time we travel through. The food is awesome and service is great and friendly and fast.
Tamara Perry
First off, apologies. I started woofing this down as soon as it came to the table. I was starving and forgot to take a picture upon arrival.
But THIS WAS A TOTAL BANGER! I had the Penne al Fresco, my husband had the Chicken Marsala and my son had the Salmon Alfredo with roasted vegetables, and they were all superb! The portions were HUGE and my son and I took over half of ours back home with us. And this is just the restaurant review!
The market is a pure joy to walk through and shop in. We got snacks to munch on while we waited for our table (45 min wait) and that was as delightful as a box of kittens to play with ❤️ I can't wait to go back and let the kids get a cannoli that they can fill themselves!
Rikesh Patel
1st time experience last night. We went to have a more authentic Italian experience and that's what we got. Situated right outside of downtown and this is a real deal Italian.
Zachary B (NinjaofPops)
Holy cow! My god! This is the best Italian food I’ve had in my life omg. Highly recommend the towering cheesecake for dessert! Reasonably priced and delicious! Will for sure be back. Meatballs are to die for. Trust me I’m a fat guy and I love this place
Duane Ryan
Good authentic Italian food at a fair price served with excellent service. Will definitely visit again.
Allen Shockley
Enjoyed a wonderful Italian shaved beef sandwich on a fresh baked roll with pasta salad at a reasonable price, friendly service, nice atmosphere with family, made for a lovely Sunday lunch. Will definitely be back again. (They also make a decent thin crust pizza.)
Gina Cook
Delicious cheese manicotti. The Gelato was also fabulous! He had banana Gelato & I had blueberry! Yum! We will be back!
Cassie K
Amazing food! This place stays busy for a reason. I've been here on a weekday and a day on the weekend. Weekends are definitely busier. Food is good every time. I try new pastries every time and I'm never disappointed.
Jonathan Smith
The food and service are great here. The place is cozy and welcoming and the market side is a real plus.
Page Graham
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Very clean.
Candy Flannery
The food and the atmosphere are always great. However, there is a black male server with a black mask who is absolutely the rudest and most impersonal man I have ever come across. I waved him down to try to get appetizers ordered and he literally walks over with a harsh reply, "What's Up!" Who does that! Then as I'm trying to pronounce what I wanted on the menu after the appetizers, I'm pointing and trying to pronounce and he replies, "Do you think I can see that from over here"...What! I'm a bartender and he is absolutely the worst server ive come across! Yall need to straighten that man out! It was my birthday thanks to him he didn't start it off good at all. Somebody need to check him...he's toxic to your business! My son comes there regularly with his church praise team and he said he is always that way!
Nesha K
Excellent customer service!! The cashier was amazing!! And the general manager was so sweet. My food was delicious!! The experience was so nice I had to show some love. I will definitely recommend CoCo’s for a nice meal, wine, pastries, pastas and much more:)
Kyle Kosmider
Love this place !
Fantastic, friendly service straight out of New Jersey and delicious food !!
Charles Sabourin
Always a pleasure! Italian favorites done right. Great atmosphere and wonderful selection from the display coolers up front. There is a reason why they are voted Nashville's best Italian restaurant year after year. You can't go wrong eating here. Bellisimo!
Debra Rae
Service was great! I had baked Ziti and it was great. Portion sizes are great, ate half and saved the other half for another night. Everyone was happy with their meals, we all had something different.
Kristen Amaya
We enjoyed it. Not our favorite but definitely worth a stop.
Becky Drennan
We were so excited to try Coco’s but the service was was incredibly slow and left us feeling disappointed. The waiter told us the head chef quit and the kitchen staff was new. I’ll give it some time and try again because the food was delicious and I loved the vibe of the place.
Blake McClard
Great place for authentic Italian food. Market on the inside has lots of food for purchase with homemade desserts, cheese, and more
Jim Cripps
Wonderful!!! Absolutely wonderful.
We completely just went by for desert after dinner elsewhere.
Jaclyn Lantz
Best Italian I've had in Nashville! Charming environment with Italian music and low ceilings. Family cooking with distinct flavors and hospitality! Feels like stepping inside a slice of the Italian community. Light chatter from the patrons adds to the comfortable vibe. Will be back🙂 …
Brent Williams
Wow. Found this place thanks to Google Maps. So glad . Very good service and very good food. Wow. The market is amazing as well. We will be back.
Scott Dever
Great place to and get prepared meals for home. Cheesecake is awesome as are the pasta and garlic bread.
Adam Thielebeule
Don't expect anything fancy just good hearty Italian food. The lemon berry cream cake was amazing! Also, ask for extra marinara if you get the temprano summer style.
Kat M.
Food was delicious, came out quickly. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great. One of my favorite restaurants in Nashville!
Jonathan C
Consistently good! Had the fettuccini and meatball lunch special and it was so good! The meatballs are very tasty! Included a pic of snow covered bocce balls. Ha!
Jason Cabral
Coco's is a place me and my wife like to share with others as a special treat every now and then. They have many dishes that you come to expect and some of us hard to find Italian favorites like the muffaletta sandwich and homemade mozzarella. I like the gifts that we buy at the store. I tell my wife one day I want to open up something just like this sting trudie Italian even offering trips the only thing I would change is my grandmother on the front of the sauce jars in my family members doing something joyfully Italian. I like being able to teach a girl's how to play Bocce reminds me of the old days.
Ashley B
We enjoyed our meal and service. Definitely take a pizza home to cook later!
Joshua Gann
Seated Quickly! Great Bruschetta for an Appetizer! Ok Food.
Owen Proteau
Had a bit of a wait (maybe 20 mns) on a Friday night which was expected. The wait let us browse their market which was fantastic, and we ended up buying a few things after we ate. Food is great here, the pizza brought me back to Italy with a little US thrown in. We also got calamari, which was a bit smaller of a portion than we had thought; a little small even for 2 people, and we had 4. Desserts were delicious but the meal was so filling we took them to-go. We love Coco's and will be back often.
Rita Kay
What a fantastic hidden jewel!!! 1st time stopping in for I thought a quick dinner, nope it was an Italian Restaurant and Market family owned. Greeted and seated immediately, waitstaff were so courteous with great recommendations! It was so comfy and relaxed it felt like being in a family home not a restaurant. Music, slide show of places in Italy playing and the food....AHMAZING! Be sure and check out the Market before you leave!
Makayla Knight
The absolute best Italian food in Nashville! Always has amazing service and the food is delicious every time.
Cosmic Entity
Food is good quality for take out. They forgot my $8 piece of cake though
Sarah Jane Huskey
We are huge fans of Coco’s. If you ever get the opportunity to have Chantelle wait on you, you’re lucky! She’s the absolute best.
My one piece of advice to any first-timers?: Add meatballs to everything.
Ande Crenshaw
Absolutely Delicious!!! Great service and the food is fantastic!! An absolute MUST go. 😋 …
Amie Knowles
Always 5 star! We've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience....not even close.
RICHARD SMITH
I loved the smell of this place when you walk in. Because of my schedule, I had to place my order to go. I looked at menu and can't wait come back.
I ordered the Italian Beef with a side pasta salad. It was delicious. It is different than what I had in Chicago but it was good all the same. I definitely would eat it again. Not the next trip because there is so many other interesting things on their menu.
David Hardy
Outstanding food. Can't say it enough. Great Italian food here. Calamari, subs, chicken masala. All were outstanding. We'll be back often!
Myra Douglass
Wonderful. Lots of unique imported goods. We got a dessert trey- the tiramisu was delicious. The canoli filling was too sweet for my taste (kinda like frosting) and the shell seemed maybe not fresh.
Jeremy Greene
The food is amazing and the staff is extremely nice. Having the market there with the take home meals is a wonderful thing. I can't wait to go back!
Cynthia Owens
The Philly cheese pizza was excellent! Service was lacking but, it was a Friday evening.
Jill Bracey
Good food, really cool atmosphere. Service was slow for a week night, but we'll give it another try in case it was a fluke. The market has some really neat stuff!
Michael Miller
Had a nice lunch at Coco's. They have a gluten free crust and it's really good! Service was friendly too.
stephanie saffer
The neatest authentic Italian restaurant and market! They have proportion take and bake meals. Gourmet desserts and candies and breads. And of course wine! This place is one of a kind and I recommend the chicken parmesan.
Deepika Tripathi
It's a beautiful homely Deli-like Italian place. It's our go to for a nice and delicious dinner. There's so many menu options to try that once is never enough. I have been there 3 times and have plans to keep going till I have tried everything.
Also their tiramisu is one of the best ones I've had.
David Dean
Great authentic Italian food with a cool Mom and Pop vibe.
John Burke
Best Italian in Nashville. Don’t need to go anywhere else in town. Try the timpano!
Darara Borodge
Great Italian style pizza with enormous slices and more than enough toppings. The atmosphere is also very quaint and transports you back to the Old World. Perfect place for a date, family dinner, or (if youre like me) to pick up a good slice with some gelato.
paula joyner
The market is as fun and welcoming as the menu. The staff has fun, and has positive cheer adding to a neighborly feel. Menu is broad. Even if you go down the traditional path of Caesar salad and pizza, you will have a great meal. Try the cheesecake, too. Tasted like it was flown in from an NY deli.
Amber Thomas
My husband and I went to the market to get all the authentic Italian food, olive oil and wine our hearts desired! This place never disappoints. Oh yeah, and their cappuccinos delightful 😊 …
kris Ercolano
Best Italian food I've had in Tennessee and I've been here 13 years.
Such a genuinely authentic place to eat.
And it's got a fantastic market! Only place I buy my parmesan cheese. Stay awesome!
Charity C
Delicious and absolutely fantastic cheesecake! The service was good too. Can’t wait to return ☺️
Woodley Shuff
Transplant fromPhiladelphia, Jersey shore area. Coco's is superb at duplicating not only the Italian food from my childhood area, also my Italian mothers food!!
Nathan
Authentic Italian food, I've eaten in the "North end" of Boston; so when I state authentic, I know what I'm talking about. Very enjoyable atmosphere, I like Coco's very much so!
Jacob Brown
Cocos is a Nashville staple to some but it was not worth it to us. In an entirely empty dining room at lunch time - we were sat by the kitchen door that, for some reason, swings out in to the dining room. People constantly walking in and out of the kitchen, bumping our table with the door. That really set a negative tone for our visit off the bat. I got calamari and a panini. They were okay. We will give cocos another chance, but will probably stick to the deli/to-go side rather than dining in.
Marty Couey
Great food good price decent service short wait. Will go again.
LARRY Bohannon III
What a wonderful all around experience. Kurt was a fantastic waiter and the food was amazing. I didn't have 1 item that was anything other than great. A must try.
The market has all kinds of wonderful take home foods and cooking items.
We'll definitely be back.
Spenser Nelson
Food was great! I got the manicotti and was not disappointed at all. Service was excellent. Even was able to get some Cannolis for my girlfriend on my way out (hopefully this isn't now an expected behavior!)
John & Iris Sherman
Excellent as always. Will never tire of watching those drone videos of Italy - amazing. Great food and service!
Charles Craddock
Coco's is a gem! They have everything you could dream of. Pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and enough desert to feed an army.
Can't go wrong with bruschetta and Gelato. Best Italian food in the city.
Steve Murrah
Everytime I eat at Coco's I get a fine from the city for backing up the sewer line. Worth it though. Cocos is awesome.
john bender
Average Italian food. Seasonings weren't superb, flavors unoriginal.
Mohamed Hammoud
Food is good, don't get me wrong, but our waiter last night was absolutely horrendous! The fact that we needed anything (aka our order) seemed like a great offense to him! If you dislike your job so much, maybe try to find another?
Edit: The owners clearly care deeply for customer service and did a great job making sure the situation was taken care of.
Jasmine Whitehead
The food was great and filling and the people who served me and my friends were great and nice. They treated us as if we're were in Italy. It was really nice and I enjoyed it. Plus the music is like Italian music, but it made me feel like Christmas time. So 10/10
Lindsy R
Delicious. Fun. Authentic. We had a great time. Very accommodating to our children. We took a few cannoli home and we were VERY pleased! So sooooo good!
Keeler Family
Delicious food with large portions and attentive waitstaff
Keisha Gibbs
Good food, reasonable prices, and a very nice atmosphere. Nice that they have Peroni and Birra Moretti on tap.
Chrístopher Bíngham
This is a terrific Italian market. Great products and people. You have to get my friend's gravy when you're there. It is the best!
Wanda Hodge
The food was good, this was my first visit. The New York Cheesecake was fabulous. I will return. Our server did an excellent job. He was the only server. He deserves a raise.
Taylor Noble
The chicken parmesan and chocolate eruption cheesecake are to die for
Mista Glenn
I was welcomed instantly as I approached the counter by the manager RoShun i belivewas his name. Unsure of what to order, the staff immediately gave a preview of what to expect from each entree. My order was prompt and delicious. Their recommendations were to my liking, as I was extremely pleased with my meal. I definitely will be back to experience Coco's Italian again.
kathryn volpi
So pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Italian market - what makes it authentic? They had lupinis, they shaved the prosciutto see through thin and mad players with wax paper, they served their cannoli separated from the filling so the shell didn't get damp. Friendly, nice. They didn't have everything but almost Saw the products later in a freezer by a checkout of a really nice liquor store in Mt. Juliet (pizza, lasagna, ravioli). Friendly, helpful and patient.
Jessica Lands
Excellent food! The chicken parm was everything I expected plus more!! Large serving size that could have been split. They have market with lots of cool stuff as well
Paul J
Best thin crust pizza in Nashville!!! Authentic, family- owned, Italian cuisine. Market inside restaurant rocks! Food & service is top shelf. Great wine selection. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Can't brag enough about this place- stop reading my review & just go there now! You're welcome
Charles Broschart
Try the Timpano...southern...you could easily share this between two...pizza was also quite nice with huge slices of pepperoni...very nice staff...
T Buk
It's was expensive for the size of the portions that were received but overall the food quality was amazing.
Sari
We had Coco's cater our wedding this past weekend and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. Communication with the event coordinator was seamless. The wait staff that was at the event was professional and very friendly. And best of all, we got SO many compliments on the food!
Laura Henning
Had the baked ziti as my 'test' choice, wonderful! As a girl from Schenectady, it was awesome to finally find great Italian food away from upstate NY. I'm living in Nashville right now and will likely be a regular and will drag all my visitors there. The store is on my way home from work. y diet has been ruined. Thrilled, really thrilled to find quality Italian food at rational prices.
For the reviewer who referenced jersey - please, that's offensive to any New Yorker.
Lisa Bohannon
Just wonderful, from the moment you walk in it feels comfortable. The dining room is roomy but still very cozy. The large t.v. shows a relaxing tour of italy, so much better than news or sports, nice touch. The food is amazing, the phrase the best I've ever had was used a few times.we drove 2 hours and it was worth it.We are looking forward to the next visit to try a new best ever.
Natalie Walker-Whited
Cheesesteak pizza is OMG so good! 😋
Concetta Bonetti
Very friendly atmosphere and the closest to my Nonna’s sauce I’ve tasted in Nashville area. Bueno!
Phenix Playz
Authentic Italian! All 6 of our party tried each other's dishes & they were absolutely wonderful! The tiramisu was definitely one of the best I've ever had! The Gelato was excellent, the canolli was perfect, not too sweet, just light & fluffy, heavenly. The wine was excellent, everything was just wonderful!!
Nicole Smith
I love this place. The pasta I had was cooked perfectly and the Blush Sauce was amazing. The desserts had amazing flavor as well, I also like the service of the waitress we had as she explained things well and was very prompt. The pricing was super reasonable and I think it is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. I wish they had seating in the waiting area, but everything else was superb.
Melissa Raber Jennings
Coco's catered our party and it was delicious! The bruschetta is amazing.
David Norris
Very good home made Italian food. Service was outstanding.
William DeMardes
The food and service on a very crowded Saturday night was great. I had the Tortellini. I got and order to go. It was so crowded I parked at the Bank parking lot.
M. K. Sealy
My favorite Italian place in Nashville. I love the market selection, the food is completely authentic, and the waitstaff is great. Definitely recommend the bruschetta and tortellini elliston.
Sharon Hardison
Tasted great! It was an hour long wait for a seat but well worth it and totally understandable with it being downtown on the Saturday night after Valentine's Day!.. I'm not giving a 5 star because I had to battle fruit flies off my food and wine the whole meal. :( good service and great food. I will be returning!
David Reynolds
Nashville tops! Tough atmosphere, loud and unattractive. It's about the food. Small market attached to restaurant is great for detailed recipe ingredients to get closer to real deal at home. Great value.
Edmelinda Urriola
Food is wonderful. I am never disappointed
Sherry Cloud
We’ve eaten at Coco’s many times. On this visit the food was not up to par. My Caprese salad was very small with tomatoes which were not that good and small pieces of cheese. It needed more oil and vinegar. The ravioli had no flavor, very bland with canned mushrooms. My husband’s meatball sandwich was OK.
Maverickgurl
I have heard so much about Coco's but finally got to try it for myself. It does not disappoint! The food was amazing. The market made me want to take cooking classes so I could put all of that to work. The do have 'take and bake' that I plan to stop and pick up in the next week or two. Our waiter was great - friendly amd helpful. We spoke to a few other employees as we went through the market. They were mostly helpful but didn't go out of their way to be so.
The only thing, I wish it was located in a nicer area with easier access. So, i will soon be trying there new location in Belle Mead on 70 at the 100 split!
PRESTONKATHRYN CAMPBELL
The food is very good and the service always excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and there is a delightful Italian market in the front of the building, which includes a bakery with delicious desserts. The desserts in this place are amazing- the cheesecake is maybe the best I've ever had. It's also a generous portion that even the most stingy diners won't mind sharing.
Benjamin Rosenblum
The food quality is solid but twice in a row I’ve gone for takeout and twice in a row it was wrong. The first time they forgot about 1/2 of the order so I had to go back (a waste of about 30 minutes). This time I went for pickup of a 1/3 lasagna bolognese, which is listed for $35 on the website (feeds 6-8 people according to the website) and was charged $40 for a lasagna that claims to feed 5. Not sure what I’m missing here but prices are higher and portion sizes are smaller than advertised.
Cal Petrey
Great pesto ravioli and get to play some bocce.
Mel
The food was good. But when I ordered the mushroom ravioli I expected the mushrooms to be inside the ravioli and there was only like 2 medium sized mushroom on top. They did have ravioli filled with mushrooms in the frozen section so I was confused on why that wasn't what I had ordered. The service was ok but not the greatest. However the Florence Ice Coffee was the bomb.com. One of the best iced coffees Ive ever had.
Stacey Royer
Coco's pizza is the best! Dining experience is great. Waitresses are always nice. Only gave 3 ⭐ because the pasta is overpriced and bland. I went back and tried another... feelings still the same. I want this place to be a 5 ⭐... 🤷♀️ …

Coco's Italian Market is a Nashville landmark. Fantastic home style food and lots of it. Friendly, attentive service. And the affogato changed my life. Everything seems just 10% better knowing that it's there waiting for me whenever I need a lift.
Federico Maestas
Decided to give them a second chance after the first time left a lot to be desired. Needless to say, far better experience the second time around for my fiancé and I. We’ll definitely be back far more often. Food was delicious, service much better and just overall much more pleasant experience this time around.
Greg Malenovsky
We are repeat visitors to this location as well as the West location on Harding. We have never had a bad meal or experience at either, and we have enjoyed everything we have tried so far. We are never disappointed. It's simple and safe, and so far very reliable. Always a "Go To".
Michelle Destefano
I wanted a muffellata. They have the best one in town. They sell authentic Italian dishes and sandwiches too. They have a market where they sell authentic Italian cheeses, meats, and others. I loved it! I highly recommend this one. I went from the East side of Nashville all the way to the far West side for it. Worth the trip. The prices are reasonable and the staff was really nice and friendly. It was clean and COVID precautions are being followed.
Christina M
Pretty interesting place. Market in the front and restaurant in the back. Food was good and pasta was light. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and I added shrimp. It wasn't seasoned as good as their red sauce pastas. Understandable considering the red sauce is cooked for 12 hrs so it's delicious! I recommend. Also the NY Cheesecake was so good! I can't wait to go back.
Joseph Uvanni
Excellent Italian food! Also the market is about perfect if you are looking for a some meat and cheese to entertain.
Rodolfo Rodolfo
We like to eat here when we go thru Nashville, food is still good maybe the Lasagna has too much cheese. Also during this time of COVID we would apraciate the people working there would wear a mask.
David Valdez
The food was wonderful, the service was excellent.
Kayse Gann
The Chicken Marsala was very good! We also got the Bruschetta as an appetizer and it was AMAZING!! That is a must try, in my opinion! We also got a pepperoni pizza to take home, we did not care for that but everything else was great! We will definitely be back!
Jonathan Parrish
Everything is just good. It has been better than good here before, but today was just good. Alfredo seafood pasta lacked flavor. Angelina salad was tasty. Cheesecake was okay. Prices were reasonable. Service was friendly. I will return, maybe that one entree was not the one tonight. But Thumbs up for the Salmon.
AJ Dominick
Awesome experience for brunch with family. We enjoyed awesome food on the heated patio with good coffee. We split some really tasty breakfast bruschetta and I shared the sweet french toast with my cousin who got a more sensible dish, but I highly recommend the Sweet french toast. We have also had the breakfast lasagna and it is truly enjoyable.
Mark Grant
Authentic Italian style. Food delicious, service excellent, price very reasonable. LOVE the attached shopping, had to try the chocolate chip cookie and a scoop of cherry gelato. AWESOME!!!!! Highly recommend you try Coco's, it is a true taste of Italian cuisine in Nashville. I will definitely be back and bringing friends and family to enjoy what I recently discovered here.
Tracy T
First time here, but not the last! Great items in the grocery store and able to get some delicious pastas, both frozen and dried, along with yummy cookies and fresh cannoli! Dinner was delicious—started with a great variety in the antipasto platter; nice variety, great flavors! Ordered the server recommended Eggplant Parm and was not disappointed! Served on a full plate of pasta with fresh marinara. Had the cheese ravioli with Olio and the ravioli were delicious; great cheese flavor and tender pasta. Can’t wait to return!
Kimbo U.
This place is amazing. I haven't been here in years because I don't live on that side of town but we were in the area and decided to stop today. It is so good that I should probably just start making the trek over there. My husband and I split two different things because we couldn't decide. They were both phenomenal. We will definitely be back!
James J.P. Perkins
This is really good Italian food. The owner has the ingredients imported and drives to New York to pick them up every so often. It's not the most popular place in Nashville but for my money it's the best. They have a good menu, wine, and the deserts are unbelievable. There is also a small market with lots of Italian delicacies attached to the restaurant .
Annatashia Utley
Just lovely presentation when they served me and the chocolate rapture cake with a scoop of nutella Italian ice cream just thrilled my taste buds
Our waitress was so pleasant and she even brought me milk to enjoy with my cake! I will be back for many times to come.
Jenna Cole
I felt as if I had discovered a hidden gem when I found this restaurant. Service was great! Love the Italian family atmosphere in the kitchen. The food is absolutely fantastic! The Italian market and the truffles on the way out the door are a wonderful addition to a great meal!
Chris S
Always have a great experience here, be it dine in or take and bake (pizza). Tiramisu is awesome and the ice cream isn't bad either if looking for just dessert
Chelsea Ridley
I love the food and the atmosphere, but the past 3-4 times my boyfriend and I have visited, we have been disappointed with the service. Each time we have ordered an appetizer, but didn’t receive it until after we had finished our dinner and were ready to pay our bill. The service seems to be lacking and it seems they may be understaffed. The most recent time we visited the host did not greet guest in a timely manner and people were standing in line waiting to put their name down for about 10-15 minutes. I will be visiting again because I love the food, but I’m hoping the service improves.
Christopher Basie
Coco's is my goto after visiting my sister. They have the dried pepperoni sticks in a wood box just like in Mayfield Hts,Ohio. Grabbed a frozen pizza for lunch. The best
Michael Pappis
One of the best pizzas I've EVER had plus the outside eating area w bacce ball was awesome for my 4 and 6 year old boys to play so it made it an awesome experience! DEF going back!!!
Ms Marlie
My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time today and both the food and staff were amazing. Our server Chris was very polite and attentive. He was very patient and honest with us, it was an overall great visit and we will definitely be back again.
Frans Barnhoorn
Wonderful food great staff if you like Italian food its a must visit
Robert Burke
Close to a 5-star rating. Great family atmosphere even with small children. Great pasteries, gellato and bocce ball.
Allen Nichols
My family and I ate here for lunch for the first time today! Pizza was delicious! Our 5 yr old grandson, who is a very picky eater, polished off his plate of spaghetti! And the gelato for desert was fantastic! We will definitely try and make the time to make another trip for lunch/ dinner soon!
Tyler Spradling
Why did it take me so long to find this gem? The atmosphere is all over the place, from a busy, cramped market area to a cozy indoor dining area to an open, covered patio. I got the feeling that however you arrived (casual or business or on a date), you would be comfortable. The main courses our party ordered were all very good and adequately portioned. The dessert menu was more than we could tackle, but we did get a start. The market was stocked some great staples and a few odd items. Looking forward to going again!
Hyoun K
One of the best places for Italian in Nashville. Affordable eats, with flavors that are better than high end restaurants. Heck.. It's as good as anything you'll find in New York's Little Italy.
Aimee Dawson
Great food, friendly staff, as always AMAZING FOOD
Mike Francescon
I have been here before & the food is always delicious. The atmosphere is fine. The service was not quite as up to usual but feel this was do to the COVID repercussions. They did an admirable job anyway. Will return soon. Must top off your meal with the cannoli!
Rhonda Harris
Our first experience was 3 years ago. I reviewed it on Yelp. I have it 5 stars then. We've eaten there a few more times since then (it's not convenient to us). The service was fast and the waiter was wonderful. The food was ok. The highlight was still the cheesecake. There were 10 of us so we had a great representation of the menu... Ravioli, ziti, salads, pizzas, apps and desserts. It's not the best pizza--go to Desanos for that. But the pasta was plentiful and good.

The food here is fantastic and always has been. Today my husband and I stopped in for lunch at 1 pm. I ordered Fettuccini with meatballs (delicious!) But was surprised when we received the check and it was $13.99.... Every other time we've eaten there for lunch it was closer to $8... When my husband asked the waitress if they no longer have the lunch pricing for what I ordered she replied "I mean we do but you have to specify...I'm not going to just assume that's what you want".... I would think if I am there at lunch time ordering lunch, I would get the lunch portion. One would think I would need to specify if I wanted the dinner portion instead of the lunch portion at lunch time.
We love the food and we will be back, but let's get real with the pricing. We would understand if the waitress said "Oh I'm sorry, I should have asked", it was the attitude in her response and the ignorance of the idea that one should specify that they want lunch portions during lunch time. If you need that clarified then the serving staff need to ask everyone when they are ordering "Do you want the lunch or dinner portion?". People don't generally spend $14 on a quick lunch experience for one person...$20 if you add in drink and salad.

Great place! There's also a mini Italian market on the inside and you can play bocce ball outside!
Ladonna Mullins
Highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant. Always enjoy the food, service, & atmosphere here for the last 5 years. They do have gluten-free options too so I can indulge my pasta and pizza cravings though I am gluten- intolerant. Covered patio, inside seating and an Italian market with small bakery, gelato & truffles included. Nice Italian wine selection and 1 of my friends likes their beer selection as well.
Adam Faragalli
Phenomenal pizza and cheese cake, and in fact everything I have ever had is excellent. I also love the atmosphere with the ability to play boccie. This is a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in the Nashville area. Lived here 20 years and wish I had visited this place sooner! Go check it out; its not fancy but makes for a great causal night out.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff combined with authentic and delicious Italian food make Coco's Italian market a must have in nashville. Also you can always grab something good to go from the market and enjoy some authentic Italian from home.
Steve D
We had a delicious dinner. They are going through some renovations at the moment, which is making things a bit hectic. But the food was great and I will recommend it to anyone traveling to Nashville like we are. Glad with our choice. Had the tortellini, chicken parm and salmon. Oh and the gelato is so good!
Chris was a great waiter! He sold me on the tortellini (with added meatballs). 👍👍
Meridith Peratikos
I have always loved Cocos. We went last night and were pretty bummed they got rid of the little play corner for kids. It was our go-to with other parent friends.
Aaron Maccaro
We went here for my first father's day and it was a mixed experience. The food was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. They have a little market and a deli and bakery with very cool stuff. The not so great part is the seating area feels cramped and on that hot day, it was uncomfortably warm inside. We were all sweating by the end of our meal. I'd go back for the food, but not on a hot day.
Luis Garcia
Food is absolutely real Italian flavor.
Megan Drinkwater
AMAZING. I am not always an Italian eater, but this place was phenomenal. There menu had great offerings. Our waitress was one of the best. She said the Bruchetta was to die for and she was no kidding. It melted in your mouth. The bread wasn't hard like most places. The balsamic adds that perfect touch. I love that you can customize anything on the menu and make your own food. I was able to pick my pasta, my sauce and my add ins to get exactly what I wanted. The food is freshly made. The cannoli's were probably the best I have ever had. I will be back.
Also, they have a little grocery store inside with some awesome selections.
Ryan Dowdy
Best Italian food in Nashville! Actually one of the best places to eat in Nashville period. Wide variety of menu options and each dish I've had has been balanced and delicious. Wine choices are excellent and you'll regret not ordering dessert. Staff is also very professional with smart helpful servers. Also enjoy browsing the market. This time I went home with some dark chocolate covered espresso beans and pickled beets.
Susan Andrews
The authentic Italian pasta was delicious and the market with the restaurant had hard to find foods. It has the air of a neighborhood haunt- not at all fancy, but comfy. I'd go there often if I lived closer.
Alishah Jamal (AJ)
A fantastic Italian restaurant, with authentic meals. Had the tortellino elliston, lasagna bolognese, 2 meatballs, and fried cheese (something), with tiramisu. All for $51 after taxes. Every item that we ordered was 5 stars. There wasn't a bad thing about anything we ordered. The cheese on the lasagna tasted superb (though heavy) the sauce on the tortellino elliston was absolutely phenomenal and the tiramisu was excellent. Best of all the service was lightening quick. Highly recommend!!
Heather Counsellor
We are locals and this is one of our favs. My husband is from Jersey and swears this is the closest he's seen to NY Italian in the south. We love the food. Plus the in house grocery has lots of staples you can find elsewhere. Do yourself a favor, get the bruschetta! Worth a visit!
Bryan Woody
Really good food, and a great value!
Karlisa Kartubi
It was our first visit and it won't be our last. For someone who is not from Nashville, this place is a gem. We got there on a Friday night and an hour before closing. We didn't feel rushed and received great service from RUDY! The lasagna was fantastic and too much for me to eat in one sitting, the bread was lovely and the pizza was delicious with a thin and crispy (but not too crispy) crust at a really reasonable price. The only critique I have is the antipasto plate could use more of a variety of cheeses. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic. We didn't get a chance to look at the market or have room for dessert, but from what we saw in passing, it gives us something to look forward to when we go back.
Regina Buccelli
Not your typical Italian restaurant. Menu contains some of the usual entrees, and some unique different items...all delicious and large portions. Desserts are to die for...forget your diet when you dine at Coco's. They even have a section of cheeses, oils, pastas, etc. to purchase and take home to enjoy. There is a section of toys to keep the children busy too. Service is quick and the employees pleasant. Wonderful and enjoyable time. Highly recommended.
John C
First time for Italian Brunch! What fun...same great service with a twist on all you favorite plates. Highly suggest the Breakfast Bruschetta and Mateo's Breakfast Lasagna was killer! Bloody Mary or two didn't hurt either. Thanks for an enjoyable and tasty brunch.
Natalie Lazarowicz
Highly recommend this place for great Italian food.
Vicky White
Loved it! A whole food experience. Italian grocery specialties and a wonderful restaurant with reasonable prices. We'll be back!
Theresa Bunch
Great food, great service. If you want authentic Italian food, this needs to be on your radar. You can shop in the deli and take home everything you need to make your own delicious Italian meals. (You may want to wait a day, they don't send you home hungry ).
John Allbrite
I've eaten at cocos a few times In years past.
Last night I order grubhub. My fault on delivery address. But I called cocos explained the problem. The cocos team called me when order was sent out to confirm delivery. And packaged complimentary desert for my aggravation.
I had forgotten what real home made pasta tastes like. I ordered way to much food . But pasta for breakfast and now lunch Isn't a bad thing.
When I opened my canoli I thought how can I ever eat all this, my taste bids were screaming "you can do it".
COCOS. Thank you. And that home made cheese ball. What is it ? Just amazing.
XOXO

Cocos is true Italian..full bar..with ready to eat and freshly made ingredients to take home(has a market)or eat in..apart of Nashville for many years..highly recommend.
Robert Casey
The caesar salads were delicious. The manaste, however, was a disappointment. In the past it has been thick and creamy and very tasty. What was served was watery and the beans not done cooking. Pasta and meatball was very good.
Raven Ford
I have been here before. The cannolis are pretty good. The cheesecake was quite good.
Today, I made an online order for fettuccini & meatballs. The sauce is bland. The noodles aren't the best. The meatballs leave something to be desired. The bread is stale and poor quality. Overall, the dish is satisfying since I hadn't eaten in approximately 12 hours, but Coco's could have done better.
Additionally, I walked into get the order with the intention of buying truffles or some other sweet. I opened the door, took an obviously long look at the truffle case when a middle-aged woman walked up and just stared at me. I knew she was wondering what I wanted and looked fairly annoyed that I was there. Since I felt rushed, I told her I had placed an online order. She asked if it was for Raven. When I confirmed that it was, she said, "Here" and rushed me out the door, like she was trying to get me to leave.
Even though I have had good dessert here before, feeling rushed and unwelcome ensures that I'm not likely to revisit soon.
Feresamay L
It's super cute, and I was presently surprised. It's a cute ittalen restaurant and shop. Would come here again.
Simon Kilpatrick
Best. Italian. Restaurant. Ever. Their calamari is delicious and their meatballs taste even better!! Plus the staff is super nice AND they have a bocci ball court play after your meal! They also have a wide variety of desserts to choose from if you saved room for it!!
Carissa Tripp
Our family LOVES Coco's! There is often a long wait, but it is so worth it! And the wait does not feel so bad because you can walk through the little market or play games outside.
I did a study abroad program in Italy and this is, by far, the most authentic Italian restaurant I have been to in the States! The focus is less on things looking fancy, and more on food tasting fantastic!
Autumn S
Always great service, some pretty good food, nice little store inside too.
Beth Stone
This place ROCKS!!! I had family fly in from different areas of the country. Plane was late, one was early and I had made reservations for 12:15pm.. THANK GOD Coco's was understanding. They seated the party of 13 very quickly. They brought drinks and allowed our champagne to chill before ordering
Food was beyond GREAT. My family always wants to come here when in Nashville. I can not say enough good things about how they treat you and how good the food is .
Dot Loeffler
The food was great and the staff was attentive without being obtrusive. I had the penne fresco, my friend had cheese ravioli with a mushroom sauce, three people in the group had salads, and another had a steak. We all were pleased with our meals.
Jonathan Bowman (J-Bowman Media)
Best Italian market in town. Had an enjoyable experience here. The staff is friendly and hospitable to your needs. You feel welcomed and you feel like you got your money's worth. Good bang for the buck. Highly recommend to my friends, A+
Aileen Rae
They are suffering with staffing problems just as so many area businesses. My order was incomplete and I didn't know till I got all the way home. Then it took several calls before I could speak to anyone about it. The food is still exceptional. And such a big variety on the menu. Best Italian place around even still.
Carrie Kastner
Delicious! The salad was fresh and the baked ziti was hot and filling. The ambience is cozy and welcoming. A new favorite!
Joshua Ciarlante
The restaurant served the best Italian food I’ve experienced in the South. Their store also had a wide variety of deserts, pastries, and dry pasta.
Whisper Brock
I love the food, I love the staff and I love the atmosphere. The BEST gluten free pizza I've EVER had!!! I have a wheat and dairy allergy. They are sensitive to my issues and go out of their way to accommodate my needs. This is the only place I'll go for pizza!
Jackie Murray
food was very good. one of the best in TN. would love to see a meat sauce offered like it is standard in NY restaurants. loved the market was able to get some bread and real pepperoni in the casing. will be back.
Jonathan Hunter
Coco's was excellent. Had several Italian dishes over the course of 2 days which were all wonderful. Very kid friendly, good wine selection, and the market had a lot of good products that were unique to them in this area. Ethnic at its best.
DeAnn Walls
Love the atmosphere of this place. This is my first time trying food from the Market as I have only had thr frozen options from Sweet T's gelato. I had Cheese Ravioli Olio and it was cooked great except the description was a little off in my opinion. But maybe Italians phrase of lightly brazed in olive oil means swimming in it. But I used the oil it was swimming in and treated it like the oil dip and bread you get at some restaurants while waiting for your food. It had good flavor but I'm assuming it was all the expensive olive oil you were paying for because the portions were not large. I cant give less stars because everything tasted great and the to go service was exceptional. They answered all the questions we had. Will go back and try again for sure. Oh the cookies are great!
Ben Spence
Decided to stop in for a quick early dinner- chicken parm was legit. Cesar salad with chicken was well prepared. Meatballs came out border line cold. But it was fine we ate everything.
Brent Moseng
Wonderful pasta. Best I have ate in the south. Reminds me of little Italy! This is a hidden gem I was not aware of after living in Nashville for past 10 years. Portions were large, service was great, and atmosphere brought back memories of New York/ Italy.
TN Hof
My husband, nephew and I just visited for the first time. It was simply wonderful.
The service was excellent, thank you Chantelle!!!, and the food was superb.
We had such a good time wandering around the shop afterwards.
Everything was SO nice, in fact, that we plan to join the family on one of next year's Italian getaways.
Thank you very much for a delightful evening!!
Erica Mierop
The food is always amazing here, my husband and I go for date night every chance we get. My favorite is the Lasagna Bolognese. Don't skip dessert! Get it to go if you are too full, which you will be because they don't skimp on portions. And browse the market, you'll definitely find more goodies to take home.
Casey
I love Coco’s. Reminds me of being back in Philly as a small, independent restaurants with great food and personality.
They have many delicious options to order. My favorite is the Tortellini Elliston. One day I’ll ask to add chicken to it, and I’m sure it will be phenomenal.
I’ve sampled many appetizers and entrees here and they’re all great.
Kenzie Peace-Hite
I can only do 4 stars but it is definitely more like 4.5. This was one of the better experiences I have had at Coco's. I had lunch with a friend and service was decent and friendly. Although our waitress was getting off so there was a bit of pressure and rushing. I really don't blame her, I would be ready to get off of work too. Lol. I would have given 5 stars but they didn't have the cone for my Gelato and that was disappointing. However, I highly recommend going here. The Eggplant Panini is amazing.
Jason Weakley
A great place for authentic Italian dinner! They have a desert counter with amazing gellato and other chocolate covered treats. They also sell Italian groceries so you can take home all the best ingredients and make something in your own kitchen. The staff is friendly and make you feel like you're family. I would be here more often if I lived near by, its a great place to come and hangout over dinner with friends and family.
Edziu Pacana
The service and food was amazing. It was like going back home to a great Italian restaurant in South Philly! The gelateria is quite good . My kids loved learning to play bacce ball on the turf in front of the entrance. An overall great experience.
Chris Newman
Best and most authentic Italian in Nashville!!!! We have explored every spot We can in the city and Coco’s hands down is the best. We love the blush sauce and burrata cheese as an optional addition to every pasta dish on the menu.
James Walker
Very authentic. Excellent atmosphere - easy, casual, yet not undone. Families or dates. In a world of cookie cutter, this is a very refreshing place. If you want to enjoy great food surrounded by people who are not "too school for school" Nashville, this is it.
David Fields
Meatball pizza was very good. Staff seemed very busy and hurried. This is clearly a place where locals come and the food seems like it is all consistently good. Five star food, four star staffing level and rather busy and loud, but hey it's Italian!
Marcus Heath (GoodGameOKC1)
Very cozy environment with a lot of Italian art work and history as well as televisions with Italy historic sites being displayed. The food is pretty good as well as the service. The added touch of having the market attached to the restaurant was great. Two thumbs up
Austin Vandivort
Food was good. Wished they would have Arancini on the menu! My favorite "fast food" when living in sicily.
Dennis Jones
If you're Italian and living near Nashville it's a definite go to!
Chad Uram
I have no complaints about the food. It seems to be on par with the top Italian places around Nashville. The bocce ball courts are a nice touch (especially if there is a wait). The service is usually solid, although we have had some experiences where we felt forgotten/ignored. I'm sure it correlates with how busy they are at this place, but it's worth noting.
Katie Berryann
The food was great but the service was terrible. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was light yet full of flavor. However, our waitress had a large party and therefore could not take care of us at all. After she took our order, she never came back. Our drinks came out after our food, I waited on a water refill for the entire meal and once we finished our meal, still no one came to check on us. After sitting with our empty plates and glasses in front of us for quite some time, I finally went to find another employee so that I could ask for our check. When I told them that we hadn't had a waitress since she took our order, the response I received was, "well, she was really busy." K. I'd give it another chance because the food really was good, but I definitely left disappointed.
Wayne Hancock
Love love love this place! They make their pizza with “00” flour, which is great for those who are sensitive to gluten. Everybody about this place just warms the heart, soul, and fills the stomach with delicious goodness.
Mike Malone
The service the food the servers everything perfect at reasonable prices everyone is very friendly
Russell Wolff
I am a native New Yorker who travels to Italy as often as possible. I grew up eating some of the best Italian food in New York City and New Jersey. So, I am very picky. There are number of things this place gets right. First of all, their brunch is fantastic and reasonably priced. They make inventive dishes that are not found in other places I can think of around the US. The flavors are wildly alive and the coffee is great too. When you are done eating, be sure to check out the market with many imported goods from Italy.
Emma Cross
This is a must go to place. The atmosphere is like being at grandmas with service. I mean the BEST service I have ever had or heard of. Eric is truly amazing. The food is as homemade Italian (which I am) as I have ever had, outside of my grandmother’s kitchen. Family, date or special occasion, a must.
Geoffrey Baber
The atmosphere could have been better if i didnt have to swat gnats throughout the meal . My waitress brought our entree 2 minutes after our appetizer . By the time I got to the entree it was luke warm . I ordered the calamari you could tell it wasnt fresh it was frozen and the marinara was basic .
Yuriy Lutsenko
My family loves Coco's. They have great good at reasonable prices. My last order from them was for my staff Christmas party. They had great presentation and the food was delicious! Lots of compliments!
Amber Allen
This is the best Italian in Nashville. The food is wonderful CONSISTENTLY. Tonight, he had the Lasagna Bolognese. It was fabulous.....meaty, cheesy....muah! I had the cheese ravioli. The ricotta was fabulous. The marinara was amazing. The NY Cheesecake is beyond bliss. It is the mostbexpensive dessert on the menu but it is worth every single bite. If you are a coffee drinker, please have a cup with fresh cream. My goodness! Whether for lunch, dinner, or anytime in between, you will not be disappointed.
The market part.....you can find anything you may need or want. You can also grab freshly baked goods (omg!), entrees or pizzas to go, or even a gelato....yes, a gelato. We love this place!
Lastly, the staff are always welcoming and provide outstanding service.
Phallen Hay
This restaurant has a great atmosphere. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is delicious... and they have gluten free options! The outside patio has air conditioning which is useful during the summer heat.
Lauren McLaughlin
Best marinara sauce you will ever have! The market here is so cute as well. Definitely worth checking out.
Kathryn Locke
The food was pretty good, though I'd say it's not the best italian food I've ever had. Our server did not seem happy to be there at all. He wasn't very friendly with us and when asked questions, only responded with short, non-enthused answers. We didn't order pizza, but I would go back and give that a shot.
Lauren Lucas
Tonight was our first time trying Coco's and we will be back again, and again, and again! We took my parents and it was one of the best meals any of us has ever had... and we had a lot: pizza, meatballs & fettuccine, eggplant parm, and tortellini. It was all fantastic. Super friendly staff in the market, as well.
James Amundsen
Coco's is one of the few Italian restaurants I actually enjoy, mostly because it's authentic. Even my friends from Chicago cannot deny that their Italian beef is the closest to perfect you'll find in Nashville (that's saying something). Not many places in town serve a Muffaletta sandwich either, so make sure you try theirs if you have a hankering. Of course, Coco's is best known for their meatballs and it's rare that my wife doesn't enjoy at least one when we visit. I really can't say anything but good stuff about this place. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
Maci
Hands down my favorite place to eat! Every holiday and every special occasion I order from Coco’s and it is incredible every time. I haven’t ever ordered anything I haven’t eaten all of and adored.
Erik Sean Wolff
The old world market setting was amazing and the food delicious
Martina Johnson
Pretty good place to eat! This was my first time and it was a good experience. i love that there is a market and they have all types of goodies like gelato and sweet treats!! After eating my friends and i had a blast plating a round of bocce ball outside!! The reason i left off one star is because i feel like the food could have been seasoned more.
Anthony Cinelli
Grandma's recipes, family pictures on the walls and ingredients imported from Italy by the owners make this my favorite Italian in Nashville. The atmosphere and service is welcoming and laid back. The food is authentic Italian and the market sells imported groceries so you can make your own authentic Italian meals at home or prepared meals you can pop in the oven at home if you don't have the time. Authentic Italian at Cocos you can't go wrong here, its all good.
David Shoffitt
This place is amazing. I love the veal parm and basically anything else they make. The food is great, the people are nice, and there is a great market in the front where you can pick up anything you may need for a charcuterie board or dessert.
Jennifer B
Love this place! The bruschetta appetizer is AMAZING! The meatballs are the best I’ve ever had! The cheese ravioli with Alfredo was good. The Alfredo has a butter taste. Loved the canoli! We will be back for sure!
Robyn Masoner
We have been to Coco's several times and enjoy the food very much. The atmosphere is laid-back and fun. They have indoor and patio seating. You enter the restaurant through an Italian market with many good things to buy to take home. A very good experience
Jaemy M
Normally, this is a five star place. The quality of the espresso has suffered greatly in the two years since I've been back. It seems they down graded their machine, so that may be it, or maybe they aren't using the beans they've been using for years, but I doubt it. Great food, well-priced, large portions. Love the patio. I remember when there were no walls.
Tonya Gann
If you enjoy great food and great service this is the place for you. Our church family and my partner went for the first time and it was incredible and delicious. All I can say is thank you to all the people that were working. We all loved our first time experience.
Escar Wood
Very neat place with authentic Italian food. Everything is made fresh and our server was nice and very attentive. I would recommend the ravioli fungi and anyone of there delicious desserts. Don't forget to check the attached market for things straight from Italy.
Jon Craig
the meatball sub is way better than subway’s !
Robert Barlowe
We came on a fall Thursday afternoon about 2pm. There was no wait and no crowd, but from previous visits, the lunch crowd is consistentlying packed, but never a wait.
The decor is marvelous. You enter through the gourmet deli/specialty shop, which gets your mough watering. The indoor seating is calm, earthy, soothing and the outside patio is bright, colorful and open.
The staff are always friendly and professional. They don't shy from conversation, but have never been pushy. I welcome their recommdations.
We ordered the chicken parm panini and Italian beef sub. The parm needed more sauce, although that might interfere with the pressing. Next time I'll ask for extra on the side. The Italian beef was amazing. Years ago I scoured Nashville looking for a comparable Italian beef sandwich and failed. Now, I don't bother looking. The jus is good enough to drink straight.
In my visits, I stick to my preferred choices (usually the Italian beef sub), but my guests have always been happy with everything they ordered.
For dessert we took home a slice of chocolate eruption. I'm not a dessert person, but I look forward to trying it and being impressed.
astrid hagopian
Food is excellent just wish their wine list was better. The Chianti is bland and the Cabernet tasted watered down. If they didn't open it in front of me I would have thought that. The desserts we're incredible. So eat the food and drink the beer. Forego the wine. Cappuccino and the espresso were equally delicious.
Mark Allen
Best we've had in Nashville to date. Great, old school Italian fare with great service to boot!
Patrick
Best Italian food in Nashville by far
Jennipher Laraway
The only reason I gave it 5 star's is because of the food and the girl at the counter. My fiance and I only stop in to get the cheesecake and when we were looking at it one of the waitresses came up to us and asked if we were dining in. We told her no and with an attitude she walked away, didn't ask if we needed help or anything.
Aurick Canete
Old world Italian eatery with a great atmosphere and a market/deli in the front. One can have a lunch here for about $15. Wine list is good and ranges from $5-$10 a glass. Do yourself a favor and skip the house wines. They are not offensive but the other selections are much more flavorful and interesting. Wine Wednesdays offers 1/2 off bottles. Marinara sauce is such a key ingredient in Italian cooking and their sauce is top notch. The meatballs are a pork and beef blend and worth trying.
The bread on the subs is served warm and is both slightly crunchy and chewy.
This is a home style restaurant so it is casual and unpretentious. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some gelato and dessert. It's nice to know that a place like this exists amidst Nashville's trendy food scene. This place does it old school and I hope they continue to thrive for many years to come.
Jennifer K
Great little Italian market with restaurant inside. The Italian market sells things that are hard to come by at regular grocery stores. The restaurant's menu is large and rather authentic
Kerry Woo Photography
Had a good meal with our party of four; the sauce with my fettucini and meatballs was very good and tasted homemade. However I highly recommend bringing your own silverware and napkins, as our waiter disappeared on his popcorn break after taking our order. We asked another waitress, but she never came back, but we made it ok by sharing the extra fork and napkin. It is family style right?
No water refills, wine or beer reorders nor dessert recommendations. He couldn't be bothered, but thankfully the food was very good to overlook the non caring lack of service.
Jacob Charette
Bland is how I would describe the food. Grate chairs outside are uncomfortable and a bit too loud in general. Price is a tiny bit overpriced for what you get. I've heard that their pizzas are good though so if you had to get something get that
irv rubenstein
What a great experience from the moment you walk in - check out those amazing cookies!!! - till you walk out sated and satisfied with real, homemade, authentic Italian fare! A casual atmosphere with a friendly, professional staff and you're made to feel like family. And who doesn't love momma's cooking?
Diane DiCarlo
I was surprised to find (after hearing about how great this place is) that the food was totally mediocre. Granted, with an Italian Grandma my standards are high, but Coco's food gets a resounding "Meh" from me. It's edible and inexpensive, so there's that.
Mark Frazer
This place is amazing. My wife comes from an italian/rhode island family and it fulfilled a 12 year long quest for a 'real canoli'. The food is totally amazing and authentic. Hands down the best italian you can get in TN. The italian cookies were described as ok but that may be a difference in the technique her grandma used. Otherwise this place will make you feel like the food critique in ratatouille if you are italian or from up north. Just...amazing.... All the bad reviews are about service and not worth anything. If you are cooking for me like my italian grandmother you can take as long as you want.
Michael Jones
Wonderful brunch. Coffee was really good and the Veneto was simple, but filling. Our server was very kind as well. It's kind of off the main path in the Charlotte Pk area, but well worth a trip if you're looking for a good Italian spot.
Caty Kidd
Had my Birthday Dinner here because I always eat Italian on this day. While the wait was long, we were able to make it work and the food was phenomenal! I had a few bits of the caprese, calamari and salad for appetizer and Eggplant Parm for my main meal. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
V E
Time after time, Coco's delivers great service and fantastic food. Their marghrita pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in Nashville; Cracker-thin, crispy crust. House made mozzarella, sweet tomato sauce. It's amazing every single time I visit . The sandwiches are very good as well. One of the best restaurants in town, one of the few that warrants five stars for me.
Whitney Goff (ThatCollegeKid)
This is an AWESOME PLACE! Zach was our waiter. He was outgoing, fun and very polite. It was only his 2nd week! Excellent service. When I go throught Nashville again. I will stop!
Ashwin Mudigonda
This place is quaint. If the right vegetation grew around it and the traffic noise faded away, you could almost believe you were by a canal in Venice! The food choices are incredible here. Vegetarians have a ton of options. Surprisingly, their brunch menu is varied. In a city filled with the same ole' items, Coco's has some really interesting egg dishes, many with a distinctive Italian twist. There is a bocce ball court outside, probably one of the few places to have one in the city. There is a deli/dessert section with some of the most delectable sweets you can try. I'd highly recommend this place for good, affordable Italian cravings.
Kevin Nelson
Amazing food as always! The bruschetta and caesar salad are a must when you visit, leaving little room for the entree.
Update on 9/16/2020: 4th visit of 2020 and still amazing! Best bruschetta ever. The sausage and peppers sub blew me away. Special thanks to Whitney for taking great care of us!

I absolutely love this place! It's delicious and staff are very nice and helpful. They help explain the menu if you're new there. They also help with suggestions. This great pasta spot keeps me coming back.

This trip was long overdue. Literally a little piece of italian heaven. I had the bruschetta for the app, Bolognese Pasta for the main, and chocolate overload for dessert. Literally everything was so tasty and I will be going back again and again.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Nashville! I've been to Italy many times & this is as authentic as you'll find in Nashville. I've never had a bad dish there & they have a great brunch on the weekends. Go, you won't be sorry.

First time having dinner here and absolutely LOVED IT!!! I don't know how I haven't found this place before! My new favorite place. Authentic AMAZING Italian food. Some of the best I have ever had.

Great food, outstanding service, comfortable atmosphere. Perfect experience at a very reasonable price. Do not leave without getting dessert!

Great food great service prices are what you would expect for a quality Italian restaurant

Had chicken parmigiana tonight was really good. Great desserts as well. Definitely be back!

This place is amazing. It's the closest you can get to real italian experience in Nashville without going Italy. An amazing little market with great selection of Italian goodies. The restaurant is delicious and affordable. Can't complain at all. Soooo good.
Brian Robinson
If you want good Italian with a great atmosphere this is the place to go to. My only advice is to make sure you give yourself ample time to get seated and eat. It gets incredibly busy here and parking can sometime be challenging. We love coming here though!
Mary Clarice Hathaway
Amazing!! This place is legit Italian through and through. Definitely a must go-to if you’re in Nashville.

Phenomenal food. I got fettuccine, fried cheese wedges, and a cannoli and it was all outstanding! Will definitely be back!

I will start by saying I am very critical of the Italian food I eat. I've been told it's impossible to find good Italian food in Nashville. Clearly those people have never been to this place. Great market area with a lot of imported foods. Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and sopressata are all great.
Their meatball parm sandwich was possibly the best meatball sandwich I've ever had, including the restaurants in North Jersey and New York where I grew up. I will be back here frequently as I have now found my Italian food fix here in Nashville.
Edit: I took a star away. Their pizza is absolutely terrible.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful service food and atmosphere

I've been to this restaurant many times. It's my go-to Nashville restaurant and I have never had anything but wonderful food and terrific service.

Frozen pasta, nothing fresh in the pasta department. No homemade sauces. This place is a restaurant, shouldn't be hard to add a fresh department.
Wish they had wines by the bottle for sale.
I was expecting a lot more, can't see going back. Check out Lazzaroli Pasta for some homemade Italian gems and tasty treats.

Food was amazing! They have an area outside for the kids to play at so it was really nice to be able to eat and let them do something active while I enjoyed my meal. Definitely will be coming back.

*UberEats delivery* Only ordered dessert... Italian Lemonberry Cream Cake (and Godiva Chocolate cake for someone else). Received promptly. Very nice portion and very delicious. As most desserts go, this one was surprisingly not overly sweet. Very refreshing.

One word... Authentic Italian. In every way.. the size (small, close quarters), the ambiance, the friendliness, the staff (who are likely all Italian), the small market for many things Italian (from food, to some kitchen utensils, to collectibles)... Have their own brand of a variety of foods for sale there. And the quality of the food will make you believe you are in the middle of Italy... Great spot!

I love the food but was very disappointed my last visit when I went to pick up my carry out order that multiple kitchen staff were not wearing there mask at all and multiple other employees were wearing their masks below their nose which is not effective! I unfortunately will not be dining here anymore until the pandemic is over.

Seafood Arrabiatta is the best! A favorite dish well prepared and so delicious. Great atmosphere. Plenty of options for dinner and dessert. Sweet treats available in the adjoining shop. A Nashville institution for Italian cuisine.
Andrew Glasscock
Unpretentious establishment serving some of the best Italian in Nashville. Generous take-out/take-home options. No better place in town to wait on a table - you'll be glad you have more time to browse the market and play bocce ball out front.
Marcos Colon
Coco’s is the definition of a local gem. It is the definition of a place where people who care about Italian cuisine are the ones taking care of you, from the food, service, and the wine choices. They also have bocce out front for those longer waits (I have never waited longer than 15 minutes myself, though I would watch out for those typical Nashville peak dining times). To make it even better, their Italian market in the front of their store is excellent as well. It’s fun to walk around and see the imported products prior to eating. They also have great products that me and my wife regularly pick up if we’re making something Italian that week, like their important tomatoes, gnocchi, pastas, or just to get some gelato for a fun dessert. I highly recommend Coco’s to any family or couple who’s looking for a fun and casual dining experience.
Paul Solans
Good authentic Italian food, and a great market for meats, cheeses and a bunch of Italian treats. Be prepared for a casual, lengthy dinner... service isn't the quickest. But, they do have two outdoor bocce courts!
Frederick Love
My Fiancée and I absolutely love this place. great Italian Food and service. After our meals we always browse the Market and pick up either some truffles or Gelato
Clayton Olive
Very good food even when they are busy. One of our favorite places to go as a family.
Andrew L
The few times we've eaten there have been pleasant. The food isn't amazing, except for the bruschetta. If you get one thing, get that. We drive across town just for that. They have some nice food imports from Italy too, in case you need that.
Terri Moran
I finally tried Coco’s! Went for a business lunch today and everyone loved their meal. Whitney took great care of us. Grabbed a couple things from the market on our way out!
John Foreman
Wonderful food in a fun, casual environment. Outdoor dining available. Weekends will likely have a crowd during dinner rush. Time spent at the bocci courts helps make the wait seem shorter.
Bill Stewart
Great place for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Seriously delicious Italian food you won't find in the chain restaurants. The deli/grocery in the entrance has take away items. Check out the homemade candy and desserts.
Brent MacDonald
Excellent Italian food and desserts (try the cheescake). Includes a store where you can buy items to make your own Italian meals at home. Free parking, but quite crowded Sunday at noon.
Samantha Patterson
Food, wine and atmosphere was wonderful, service was slow but overall I will return.
Steven Greer
This is my families favorite Italian place very authentic. I enjoy store and deli counter. Our last visit was less than great, server dropped bill no pre bussing my table and then stands over table watching me count out the cash while she chews her gum mouth open. Maybe buss my table and come back to get my money.
Joan Stanford
Fabulous food. I had the meatball sandwich and it was delicious. The serving sizes were more than adequate.
Austin B
This is my favorite Italian joint in Nashville, hands down. Everything I've had here (including the desserts) has been superb. Plus, you can play bocce outside.
My favorite dish is the Tortellini Elliston - the creamy red sauce is excellent. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't finish it off with a chocolate eruption more often than not.
I also recommend the cheesecake and cannoli.

Coco's is a rarity in the Nashville restaurant scene. It's a genuine and honest , and unpretentious representation of the food style that is in the minority of the Music City Scene. Italian food at it best, is when it is done simple and with fresh ingredients. Coco's does not disappoint with food taste or quality. Granted you will not see a James Beard award, but that's not the point at Coco. It's honest simple italian food, with a cool italian market to boot. If you want to feel like you are in a different state (or different state of mind) give Coco's try, you'll like it.
Rebecca Jones
Best meatballs I've ever had! Great Atmosphere and delicious. They also taught me that espresso on vanilla ice cream is the best dessert on earth!
Sara Jacobs
Such a treat! Cozy authentic Italian restaurant with friendly staff. Visit for lunch or dinner any night or for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. Attached market also has olive bar, olive oil bar, truffles, gelato, wine, meats, cheeses and other special finds straight from Italy.
Michael Mounsey
A seemingly undiscovered brunch location, with pure Italian charm. The menu was a great blend of a typical brunch menu, kicked up several notches with the Inclusion of pastas, sauces and sausages. A non-stop video of Italian scenes make you wish you could be there, although the atmosphere makes you feel as though you just may be.
They also have an Italian market, make their own mozzarella, and have a good gelato selection. My wife always says gelato is not for breakfast, but she's wrong!
Claire Mints
The most authentic Italian food I've had since being in Italy! And the store they have is amazing. Though I didn't really like their wine options, the food was incredible! And the desserts 😍 …
Lauren Shar
One of my favorite places in nashville!
