This place is incredible. We got the smoked trout dip, avocado humus, The kale pesto salad, and the pork schnitzel. Every single dish was out of this world. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, bartender made the best damn Pimms cup I’ve ever had. Have only gone for breakfast on the past and that was a mistake. One of the best valued meals in Nashville.

Cafe Roze is a great little bistro. We enjoyed lunch. Very busy with lots of positive energy. Nice wine selection by the glass. Creatively re-imagined meals. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND the tuna sandwich (ate half the sandwich before I thought to take a pic). Finished the meal with an ayurvedic tea and the flavors were wonderfully balanced.

Adorable place… feels like I’m in Paris/Santa Monica. Love the clean, hip vibes. Great and welcoming staff and server. Delicious clean, flavorful, veggie bowl, which appeared to be the hot item off the menu that day. Also delicious fries and matcha latte.

Quaint cafe in a charming brick building with a marble bar and wonderful wait staff. We had the Roze Bowl and the Battered Waffles with berries and a glass of Prosecco and Ginger Turmeric Steamer. The fare was rich in unique flavor layers and prepared with love.

Cafe Roze is exactly what my wife and I were looking for during our stay in Nashville. First off, the wait staff are incredible here. As soon as you step foot in the door they're either there to greet you with a smile on their faces or their at least waving hello to you from across the room. The atmosphere is so relaxing (we opted to dine outside and enjoy the gorgeous autumn weather). Our waiter Ryan was very attentive and the following day we returned and had Albert serve us. Both of these waiters are incredible people and did so much to make our experience amazing. The signature coffee is a flavor you really have to try for yourself, it's amazing. The breakfast sandwich we both ordered is easily one of the best I've ever tasted. Fresh, clean ingredients and handmade to order. You can taste the difference their fresh ingredients make. The salad paired with the breakfast sandwich reminds me of being in France. We enjoyed Cafe Roze both mornings we were in town, and you better believe anytime I pass through Nashville, I'll be there.

...this little Hidden Treasure in East Nashville, Scrumptious best describes our Birthday Day Date for lunch. The Avocado Hummus on the "charred" bread w/ Pepita seeds, chili flake and a little mico green left us wanting to come back asap and put a poached egg ( which is an add on) beside that pure fresh tantalizing tastiness. The Charred Broccolini Melt, the pickled cabbage , the cheese, the roll ( not GF) so I cheated twice in one meal but so worth it and the FRIES , OMGOODNESS, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned & perfectly DELICIOUS!!! GF is a way of Life so a few more options on the menu would be FAB!!!! FOOD 👍👍👍👍👍 Beverage ~ needs work.. NO Tito's, the #1 selling GF Vodka made in the USA needs to be on the shelf w/ all of the other spirits that allow this spot to be a definite win- win AND absolutely needs a Non Dairy option for Steamers & Coffee it's a must .. lots of Dairy Free people out here! Second visit is in the Windshield , maybe a Sunday brunch with some Champagne bubbling !! Oh and let me not forget the simplicity of this airy vibed out Cafe in Pink , Black & White , real flatware in a rolled cloth napkin, perfect details and a super cool staff leaves you wanting to just sit & hang out !!

I absolutely love this classy gem of a restaurant. It’s not often that I enjoy every item on the menu but that’s how I feel about Cafe Roze’s offerings. The preparation and presentation are always on point and the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Music, ambiance, and lighting are top notch. Love sitting at the bar with a cocktail. I can’t recommend Cafe Roze enough! It’s a beautiful mélange of trendy elegance.

I dine here weekly. Alone, with my girlfriend or anyone really. The food is consistently delicious and if you’re lucky enough to get one before they’ve sold out, grab a chocolate croissant. Charlotte always gives the sweetest, most welcoming service and the rest of the staff is just as wonderful. Wanted to give credit where it’s due as someone who lives and works in the neighborhood ☺️

Thoughtfully crafted plates with a trendy, chic modern cafe type vibe. Impressed with the brunch and lunch menu— this is a Nashville brunch must imo. I had the Egg Bowl which is apparently a bestseller and I can see why! Delicious (though personally I could have gone for a dash or two of coarse sea salt on it—super small preference thing). Make a reservation though as it’s rather small and so popular.

Dined here for the first time time a friend who is a regular. Loved the tea menu. Also, his recommendation of the breakfast sandwich was perfect. Parking was a bit confusing, but this is a quaint, neighborhood-based spot that I enjoyed discovering.

Amazing place for a brunch! Cappuccino was awesome, my Roze bowl with salmon as well. I would definitely come back for this bowl. My bf ordered smashed burger which was pretty good and juicy, but nothing special and not big enough if you are hungry man:-))) all in all, very European-style café, i will definitely come over when in Nashville

The egg bowl with poached eggs (+ a side of bacon) is legitimately probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Every single ingredient is so fresh and perfectly prepared. Also the cold brew is amazing, wish it was bigger or had a bottomless option!! By far the best brunch I’ve had in Nashville. Love the freshness and healthy options on the menu, and prices are definitely reasonable for the quality. If you’re in east Nashville, do not miss it!

My friends and I had brunch here on Sunday. I would highly recommend getting a reservation as we had to waited 30min for table for 3. The interior was pleasantly modern and minimal. We were seated outside at one of the two outdoor tables. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Roze Latte, which was cute to look at, but I did not like how it tasted. The rose taste was too strong and gave the drink more of a essential oils effect, where it smelled better than it tasted. The overall flavor was floral, not coffee or milk. I also ordered the Simple Breakfast with eggs done sunnyside up. It was simple and delicious and all elements on the plate were cooked well with complimentary textures. The garnish of 2 sprouts on the eggs seemed superfluous. My friend ordered the Stout Waffles which she enjoyed, esp. the mascarpone.

Lovely restaurant and cafe that is worth visiting. We celebrated a birthday dinner with beverages and dinner. Reservations are recommended especially if you have a large party. The food was nice and there are a number of vegetarian friendly options. There was a great ambience that made dinner fantastic and the service was pretty on point.

I went to brunch at Cafe Roze for my birthday. They do not take reservations for brunch but failed to tell me on the phone that they won’t seat you unless your whole party is there. I got there 30 mins early to wait and it didn’t make a difference. Loved the interior with the pink and the marble. More on the expensive side and the food is good but not as good as I wanted it to be. Still had a great time.

Very trendy & Instagrammable spot in East. Reservations are a must - particularly for brunch! I found the service lacking and the prices more suited to LA than Nashville. Food and coffee were solid, but the whole place is sort of lacking the “local” feel. I was underwhelmed. But the pics are gorgeous!

One of my favorite spots in Nashville! Great food, great drinks (their coffee and cocktails!) My favorite menu items for breakfast/brunch: the avocado hummus toast, the stout waffles, and the roze bowl. For their cocktails: the gateway and the melon drama. For dinner: steak frites and their burger! Their French fries are a must too, no matter what time of day!

Good food. Quick, welcoming, friendly, and helpful service. Restaurant can get noisy. Tables/seating is a bit cramped. There is no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, so if you drive in parking might be an issue depending upon the day/time of your visit. We spent about $45 prior to tip for breakfast for two, I had the waffles and my wife an egg dish and fries (we wish they had hash browns). We each also had a coffee drink. All were very good. We will probably be back.

Cafe Rose is amazing and well worth your time. This place has a humble but elevated vibe while offering a fresh take on each of their dishes. Roze will be familiar to any West Coaster and a pleasant surprise given how hard it is to find this type of food and cooking in the south. For breakfast, we really enjoyed their fresh options like granolas, smoothies, herbs and fruit. And their espresso was on point. But the word is out and Roze is popular, so get here by 9:30 if you want to avoid a wait.

AWESOME PLACE!!! This is a must when visiting Nashville! The atmosphere is delightful especially the music selections. It is a small space so get a reservation asap! There is a very energetic and polite vibe. Spencer, our waiter answered all of our questions regarding the menu and even suggested a custom mocktail option that was delicious! We ordered the eggplant, tuna dip, paprika chicken and flourless choc cake. Everything was impeccable in presentation and taste. Eric came by several times to refill our water and chat. Been in Nashville for 3 days and gone to Cafe Roze twice. If you’re in East Nashville and looking for a great breakfast, brunch or lunch spot, this is it. I’ve tried four different meals here and all have been delicious in their own unique way. The Country Eggs and Ham is creamy scrambled eggs, served on a soft piece of sourdough. It’s topped off with thin slices of delicious ham and a mountain of shredded Parmesan. The Savory Oatmeal has to be my favorite of all the meals. I don’t know what they do with the oats, but they’re so flavorful and topped with mustard greens, mushrooms and a poached egg. The trout toast is another delicious slice of bread with a mountain of yummy trout on top. The lemon zest and radishes finish it off nicely. Finally the Roze Bowl, with beet tahini, beets, grilled zucchini, kale with quinoa and lentils if perfect if you’re looking for something a little lighter. Would recommend adding salmon or chicken if you’re hungry. The coffee is Revelator, and a perfect compliment to your breakfast. I’d either go with the drip or a Cortado.

Very interesting experience. Have never had a salad with breakfast before, but it worked. Bread was really fresh, egg and bacon were perfect. Menu is a little eclectic, so look at it online before coming $11.00 for an egg sandwich is a little on the high side, but it was good. Something different, the check comes with a postcard.

Such a nice find while traveling. Decided to come here based on the menu I found online and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Turmeric cooler to drink which was refreshing. For an appetizer I tried the Chile Eggplant which had great flavor and for dinner I had the Dinner bowl which is a great mix of veggies, black rice and curry broth. I loved the mix of flavors and textures. Left with a full belly and very satisfied. Nice atmosphere and attentive, welcoming service. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Bright, vibrant breakfast & brunch spot! The design and decor are fresh and clean - almost Swedish. I’m a harsh critic of Bloody Marys, and love their rich, chunky, balanced approached. Fluffy eggs, crispy thick back, great drink coffee and quality service. The place does get a bit loud when busy, but I’ll certainly return.

Every time I have guests in town, I take them to Cafe Roze for at least one lunch and one dinner, and no one gets mad at me for repeating a restaurant. Everything here is divine, and no matter how much I eat, I always leave feeling happy and healthy. My faves: carrot toast, goddess salad with salmon or chicken or on its own, and granola and yogurt. The staff is fabulous too. I’ve yet to encounter a confusing, let alone bad!, interaction. Actually, I’ve never experienced so many super-amazing interactions at an establishment before! I would recommend making a reservation. They allow walk-ins and try to accommodate you, so you should be okay if you don’t!

Went here one time for dinner with friends. Had PEI Muscles and a Mezcal-based drink. Muscles were honestly really good, and for ~$21 I got a huge portion. My drink was very tasty, I could've enjoyed a few more if I wasn't driving. The menu is very experimental (lots of ingredient names I didn't even know) so I would not recommend it to someone who might describe their palate as "bland" or "unadventurous".

Our server Ryan was great, super attentive but not at all intrusive. I'd definitely request to be in his section if I go back. The salmon dinner bowl was good but the addition of hot sauce made it perfect. The chocolate cake was meh, the bananas were the only part I liked. The drinks were all delicious and strong! Get the ranch dipping sauce and the fries as a starter!

It's a really nice place, I can see why its so popular. Unfortunately didn't get to experience it though because the staff completely overlooked me while I waited patiently for the hostess to have a moment to seat us or even speak to us. People coming in behind us were getting seated pretty quickly but I never got so much as a hello and eventually had to leave. I'm sure they're nice folk and like to think it wasn't intentional, it was just weird and disappointing. Maybe it's just not kid-friendly, since you can never really know with the places in this area, but if that's the case I would've preferred someone said something rather than ignore me til I give up. Totally would've understood.

The staff was great and the cocktails were enjoyable, but I thought the food was not competitive with other local restaurants at the same price point. While the menu had great concepts, the dishes' execution was a tad disappointing. I think it's worth a visit, but I'd temper expectations. I'm erring on the side of four stars, rather than three. While is place has interesting coffee concoctions this is not a coffee shop in the traditional sense. I went with the desire to work the whole morning and you only get an hour or two of Wi-Fi before being kicked off and not allowed on again for another two hours. Since most coffee shops are working friendly it would been nice to know beforehand that this place was not. If you are looking for a breakfast/lunch spot this is great! If you are looking for a cool spot to work though, I would head somewhere else. While not their fault, since it’s in a residential area parking is not ideal. Very instagramable though!

Staff greeted and seated us very quickly, got us water quickly, and overall provided good friendly service. The issue came with my bottomless drip coffee, which was served in a cup that is far too small for coffee. Which wouldn’t be a huge issue if they were good about keeping it refilled (it’s bottomless right?). Unfortunately they ran out of coffee halfway through pouring my second cup, and didn’t have more coffee brewed until we were almost done with our meal. I got one more cup, which initially was poured about half full and I had to ask for them to top it off. Was never offered another cup, and it would have been nice for them to offer a to-go cup for the road considering I was without for so long. Staff needs to be better about making sure coffee is always prepared and ready, and management should really consider larger cups. Small coffee and water cups forces staff to be refilling things constantly, and it would drive me crazy if I worked there.

DELICIOUS!! We weren't thinking ahead and didn't make reservations for Sunday morning during COVID. We quickly found out we wouldn't be able to get a table for hours but the staff was so sweet about it and helped us put in a to go order for food and drinks! They were so kind and helpful and checked on us multiple times while we waited for food. Everything was perfect. We took our to go food back to our hotel pool and we were so impressed! Everything was delicious and well made. The broccoli melt was my favorite! These people pay attention to detail and you can tell from your experience interacting with them and taste it in every bite! Four of us really enjoyed sharing some breakfast items family style. Our waitress was very sweet and gave us great feedback on our choices. Started with the Chocolate Croissant which was very tasty but had more of the consistency of a scone than a croissant. Very much enjoyed the Stout Waffles. No distinguishable beer like taste, just really good. The saltiness of the ham in the Country Ham Toast really made it tasty. The BLT was good but not spectacular. Very pleased all around.

But tonight the “smashburger” I received for my delivery order was without a doubt the best burger I’ve ever had in Nashville. Their meat is always fresh, veggies are always fresh, also have great fries. The sauce on this burger and the pickles are out of this world. Whoever selected the cheese they put on this also deserves high praise as it’s flavor is a perfect match for the meat. Love this place, keep up the good work

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before. Never planned on it. But this smashburger needs to be known. Two patties cooked to perfection, coated with the perfect combination of melted cheddar, what seemed to be house pickled thinly sliced pickles on each side and ever so slight touch of onion, all brought together by their home made smash sauce and two slices of soft, warm, and buttery potato bun. A true gift from God himself. Go.. go now! Go order this burger and applaud the chef on your way out. Well done Chef!

This place has been on my list to visit for a couple years now and I finally got around to it. Starting off with parking, there is street parking right in front of the restaurant. We got there at a good time before they really picked up, so we didn't have an issue. The interior is beautiful! Marble tables and a millennial pink bar - perfect place for Instagram pictures (if you're into that of course). They were fully staffed and everyone was good about speaking to and acknowledging guests. As far as food goes, it was good, but nothing that would keep me coming back. Overpriced for what you get. I got the toast topped with scrambled eggs, thinly sliced country ham, and freshly grated Parmesan. The toast was extremely thick and overpowered the dish, but the flavors were delicious.. really wish they would use a thinner bread. The roze latte was very good though! Our server was very personable up until he brought us one ticket without ever confirming we were together. I asked if we could pay separately and there was an immediate shift in his attitude.. didn't appreciate at all. Yes, one of us could've put it on one card and venmoed the other, but it's really just the principle. As a customer, I feel like this should be accommodating to me and should be one of the first questions you ask your table. Overall, it was a good experience. I would come back, but wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Tonight was just exceptional! The eggplant starter was light and fresh despite being a fried dish. Lemon pepper pasta was a must have again, featuring a local pasta that was firm, tasty and a great way to deliver the sauce. Finally, my trout was the best thing I've eaten in recent history. I live in the neighborhood, and I love Cafe Roze. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and nothing disappoints! The Roze Bowl is my favorite at lunch, and the BLT is also amazing. (My husband always opts for the burger.) They recently added beet toast to the dinner menu, and it was as gorgeous as it was tasty. I moved to East Nashville after living in LA and San Francisco. I am so happy to have this little restaurant in my neighborhood. I've used it as an escape from my kids (pre-covid, obviously. Now there is no escape) where I take myself out for a solo dinner date. A fave dinner is the steak frites. I recently discovered they also sell the herb sauce that comes on it in a bottle. I get it! That sauce is fantastic. Once dining in was no longer an option, I started getting the family dinners and oh man do I love them!! The grilled halloumi with cous cous was a big hit with my family, as was the gochujang pork roast. My picky 5 year old ate an unbelievable amount of the collard greens they were sp delicious. Ive ordered probably 8 of the family dinners and have had no complaints about a single one.

The first time in 32 years I've had a culinary "experience" where the atmosphere, decor, the energy, the presentation, color, technique and combination of ingredients fully stimulated all of my senses to bring dining to more than just eating some good food. The vibe& atmosphere isn't just crisp and beautiful, it makes YOU feel the same. Super nice, but welcoming. The staff is relaxed and genuinely friendly when engaged, but doesn't bombard or try too hard like some places. The bar has KILLER options that are in my opinion, very well chosen- unique but not too weird. Variety but not too much to choose from. But the MEAL- The menu options are way above my personal knowledge/experience in food- but again, not intimidating, interesting and welcoming. Relatively, prices seem super reasonable and fair. However, the description of the portions in the menu seemed a bit less than desired- UNTIL the food arrived. --#PERFECT. 4 ingredients. FOUR! MIND BLOWN. LOVE IT. If you ever have a bad experience here, start over, try again, and show them this review. Because it worth it. I want everyone to experience what I did!
