Overall, this place was good. Was pretty busy, hard to find parking. A ton of kids running around (play ground) waited 20 min for a table, and I got some beer from the bar. Got our table, our waitress was nice but not the best. She would disappear for long periods of time. We had to ask the bar for napkins, plates, etc. The boom wings were good. Hot and fresh, a bit salty. The cheese bread was very good, I recommend that. The pizzas were good. 2 16inch pizzas. 1 traditional crust and 1 thin crust. Both were very good, though we liked the thin crust more. I'd recommend this place, deff if you have kids.

The food and atmosphere are so great we overlook the sometimes mediocre service, which is the reason for 4 stars. This is a great family place where the kids can play and parents can have a drink and conversations with other adults. LOL. The food here is amazing! Here are my favorites in no particular order: Cheesy bread sticks, these could be a meal on their own. Market Fresh Pizza, I like mine with extra cheese. White Pizza, way better than that “west coast” kitchen place. Also attached pictures of the pepperoni pizza. My sister liked it.

Great for game days. So many tv screens, that it seems like every angle is covered wherever you choose to sit. The problem was food. We ordered the Tuscan chicken pizza 🍕 and the chicken tasted bad at best and undercooked at worst. The cheese used for garnishing was also not the best. Cocktails were okay. Overall, for someone like me, when I go out, I expect the chef to cook better than me — because they’re professionals. We found street parking. Prices were apt. If you’re into watching live sports and don’t care much about food, or have kids that’d love the playground, you might have a different experience.

We LOVE this place. It’s the best of both worlds. The playground is kid friendly and super fun. The beverages are great quality and the staff is very pleasant. We just has my sons birthday there and it was awesome. Looking forward to pizza Friday next week!

I didn't catch our waiter's name but he was awesome (pictured in one of the photos with the red shirt). I loved the atmosphere in this place. Can't believe I've never heard of it before. This visit, we only got drinks but next time, we're going to try the food too... however, I tried the canoli and it was really good.!! I'd definitely recommend this place.!!!

Cool place to hang out with family, relaxed atmosphere something for everyone here. Loved their outdoor space a must visit kinda place if u have kids. We were here on a Saturday afternoon the place was buzzing, kids had the most amazing time playing in the playground. Food is very good we loved the green chilli pizza and wings are a must have.

Had some great food and drinks at BoomBooz pizza. The BBQ chicken pizza with some Buffalo sauce drizzle and blue cheese is a must. You can thank me later! Ran into the manager he had us try a Rosé and tequila slusy combo. It was a great way to cool off from the heat!

The playground is good and our waitresses did a decent job. The food not so much. Overpriced and tastes almost like Dominoes or Pizza Hut but with less choices. Wish it would of been woodfired but oh well. Getting meat on the Bello costs an extra $8. Myself and two small kids totalled $48.

Pizza was okay, meatballs were far from fresh, but a nice kids playground and plenty of TV’s for football Saturday make this place a 4. Service was horrendous. If it’s busy, it will be very loud inside the cavernous building so be aware.

First time trying this place out and I was really impressed. Order - “Award” winning wings - far from this, the flavor lacked and this was my only but biggest knock on the place. The wings were not good at all. - Pretzel’s - about as expecting solid bar pretzles - Pizza - highlight of the night (as it should) delicious crust, right amount of cheese and perfect sauce ratio. Overall good experience

Everything was great the lemon drop I ordered was delicious and I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and my daughter had the Tuscan pizza and they were very delicious. The pizza was very well seasoned and saucy like I like it, I also ordered a mozzarella dip with goat cheese that was amazing. My granddaughter had the pepperoni pizza from the kids meal and she gave it 2 thumbs up. If you like saucy 🍕 this is the place you won't be disappointed . And they have happy hour from 2pm-6pm, $2 off appetizers can't remember if it was a certain time for the appetizer price

Staff was great. Food not so much. I had the Metro Steak sandwich. It was extremely dry and had no flavor. I took 2 bites and couldn't eat it. My husband had the all meat pizza. His was extremely spicy. I had 1 slice and couldn't eat any more.

Cherine was my server tonight and she went out of her way to go above and beyond to get me the best service tonight. She was so upbeat, positive, smiling, and knew the menu through and through. 5-star review for our waitress, Cherine! We had a party of 11, with 5 children. She took great care of us!! Food was great! One order (out of 11) came out wrong but they made it right. We go here for the play space and it doesn't hurt that the food it really good!

It takes a lot for me to get upset with places given how overworked and understaffed most places are. But this was not a good experience at all. 6 adults and 2 kids. Waited over 45 min only to be sat at the table that was open the entire time. Lots of open tables that hadn’t been cleared. Waitress didn’t seem to care. Our friends have gone here multiple times and like the place; just hoping this was a really off day and not the norm for them. Edit: I went back and gave 2 stars for the bartender; she was awesome.

Cheese bread was average, The herbs helped. The pizza was a different story. The toppings made up for the crust which is slightly above average. Good yeasty bread flavor but low on air pockets. Our table had the brisket pizza and the supreme. Both overall are worth a revisit in the future. Great sauce ratio. Don't miss the green chili jam wings though. Messy on a napalmesq, you'll never have clean hands again vibe, but you'll be glad you made the sacrifice.

Great food and good experience. Overall I liked the appetizer I had Marinara Goat cheese and then loved my goat cheese pizza as well. The only issue was it was 90 outside and the restaurant was warm. So it made it a little uncomfortable. The bathrooms were cool in temperature though. Overall I would return on a cooler day bc I loved the food.

Went here after a flight delay and am so glad we did. Nicholas was a great server offering recommendations and fixing any minor issue that came up. Had two pizzas (couldnt decide on just one). Great pizza, wide selection of beers and the hockey game was on. I'd bring kids here too if they were along. Glad we stopped!

Pizza was fine. Food wise I'd give it a 3, but that is not what this place is for. This place is for adults to take their children to be distracted by the playground while the adults socialize or watch sports. It fills that niche, but there are better pizza options nearby that I would opt for if I didn't have kids with me.

Boombozz has been the best place to catch up with friends every Wednesday evening for trivia! the food is delicious, the trivia is fun, and the people on their team are incredible! We come in with a table of 8+ every week and Aleta always takes great care of us!

I have eaten at their other location and Murfreesboro and love the food and atmosphere. We were in the area of this location doing my son's birthday and we were looking for somewhere to eat that was kid friendly. I found this location and they had a playground! It was a win win. Good food and a playground for the kids. We called ahead to let them know we had 13 people coming and they had no problem and the table was set up when got here. The were 100% accommodating to us having gifts and a cake for my son. THIS is what excellent customer service looks like and I will give them my return business and every bit of word of mouth I can give!

Great atmosphere, food and beer selection. My favorite thing we ate were the nachos with pulled pork added. They were delicious. They have several TVs, so if a big game is on be prepared to wait a little longer for a table.

Our table ordered three pies - two fire roasted chickens (one w/ gluten free crust), and one green chili chicken. The green chili was my personal favorite, but I would recommend the fire roasted chicken to anyone looking for something with a bit of heat. They have some enticing Happy Hour and lunch specials, which we will likely return for!

Great for families! I'm jealous we don't have these in the Chicago area or we'd be regular patrons. They had a good beer selection and the pizza was tasty, but most importantly a place with a nice closed in playground that serves craft beer!!! We have a very very active 3 year old and going out to dinner is hard. We got there very early, around maybe 430 or so on a weekday and we were able to get a table right by the playground and just sit and eat and drink while our son stayed in sight but ran around on the playground. By the time we left at maybe 6 or so it was busy and people were waiting to snag our table. Some people sitting inside sent their older children out to play, others sat on a bench and watched their children despite their table being inside. It was very very glaringly sunny, maybe they could get a big shade since their direction for dinner time traffic puts the sun in a pretty bad spot, but that's hardly a true issue. Put on some sunblock, it's worth it.

Loved that they had a fenced in playground for kids to engage and socialize while we wait on food or after eating. We entered and asked for a patio seating specifically so we can monitor the kids. The host immediately stated he had no patio seating yet we saw empty seats. He then said they had to be cleaned. I said we can wait. Then he walked us to the table and it was dirty. I mentioned it to him and he said it was wipes down and that's how the table looks. There were crumbs everywhere. He then went and got a cloth and barely pat clean here and there. A server walked up and saw us sitting at the dirty table and got a cloth and properly wiped down the table. Then we waited for about 25 mins and no server came to our table to take a drink order or introduce themself as our designated server. I saw a server walking by and stopped her and told her we've been here for 25 mins seated and no server. She immediately jumped in and took our order. The food was great. The ambiance was great. The kids enjoyed the playground area. I hope my next experience will be better though. We will be back.

We visit this place a lot! It's a great atmosphere to watch any type of sport, as there are tons of good quality TVs. The bar is huge and we are always able to find a seat there, which is our preference. They make great cocktails, have fair prices on their beers and they even offer vegan and vegetarian pizzas! We have sat outside on the patio with our dogs too, which is SO nice. They have heaters and tvs outside as well. The place is always clean, well staffed and super friendly. They make a pretty mean cosmopolitan too!

Terrific pizza, about halfway between Pizza Hut and Bella di Napoli. Still struggling a bit with staffing as are so many others, but we had THREE managers taking up the slack, which I appreciated a lot. This place has been waylaid by tornados and burglars, but they deserve support, and the pizza is just great

We originally passed this place but after being very disappointed at another tap room we came back. Service was excellent! The beer list was fantastic! And a park for the children! Parking costs which kinda stinks and it's a crowded area but it wasn't a reflection on the establishment. Our party of 16 was seated quickly and served well. Their food is really good but if you order the cheese bread eat it hot. A tad too greasy if it gets cold.

The restaurant is awesome and the food is great but the service sucks. We went in to watch a basketball game and felt incredibly rushed. We ordered 3 courses-appetizer, wings, and pizza and everything came out in rapid succession with no breaks in between. Refills were scarce and it felt like the waitress kept encouraging us to be finished. She asked barely after our food came if we would be needing anything else and brought the check. She asked if we wanted a box and I said not yet and she boxed our pizza anyway. Then I had to track her down to get a refill after that. I just wanted to come in and relax and watch a game and ordering multiple courses of good and drink I assumed it wouldn't be a problem. Loved the restaurant. Hated the service.

They lost the first building in a tornado right after the pandemic hit but its back in action and slightly redesigned. Outdoor playground for the kiddos and three outdoor seating areas, including the tables by the playground. While the pizzas are great, I'm there for the sandwiches and beer selection. I haven't counted the wall to wall TVs but there are plenty. Great places to watch a game while the yoots burn off all that energy we've all forgotten about.

Great service- we had a large group and they worked hard to accommodate our ever changing requests. Parking was to be desired- crowded street or $6 for the lot next to it, but that's expected for the area. Overall good experience.

Plenty of screens to watch any and all games. The pizza was good nothing spectacular but hit the spot and feed our party well, additionally we were treated with respect, better than can be said of the fancier pizza place around the corner. I would say you should try the appetizer hash kegs or something like. It's a hash brown with bacon and cheese inside it!

This place is amazing. Even better than it was before! The service is fantastic. Our server Maggie was incredible. She knows the whole menu and every beer and is very attentive. There are TVs everywhere and it’s very clean. The manager/owner (not really sure) walks around and checks on you and he’s super friendly. The East Nashville location is a great place to eat and hang out and drink some beer or cocktails. The bar stools are amazing and everyone that works here is so nice and helpful. The cheese bread and marinara appetizer is very tasty and so are the calzones. Beer selection is plentiful and the food is great, not a bad thing on the menu.

Never been, visiting from Michigan, I honestly can say I did not like this bar when I first got in because it was busy (which honestly means good things because it’s a good spot) but I was not about trying to fight for a seat to watch the game. I came to the bar and Karissa (AKA K FAB) was the best bartender and rumor has it this is one of her first shifts here! She absolutely killed it and gave us the best service I’ve had in all of Nashville. Highly recommend seeing this sweet girl

Reopend and rebuilt after the 2020 Tornado, this venue is huge! Perfect for larger parties and gatherings. Plenty of interior seating a large bar and two outdoor patios plus a full size playground to keep the kids happy. It's an excellent place to watch any sport with dozens of TVs covering every possible sight line and one giant big screen for the main game that has the sound on. They run almost daily beer and food specials along with discounts for whenever local Nashville teams are playing. The food is pizza focused. I find it to be a generic style of pizza but well executed. It would not be on my must try for anyone visiting Nashville list, but it's great for watching sports and having beers with friends. They also carry sandwiches, wings, salads and pasta bakes in pretty generous portions. The staff is mostly friendly local people that do a great job but service can slow when they get really busy. I think that's to be expected with such a large place. They have a small parking lot behind the building but most of your options will be pay for parking or if your lucky some street parking. If you have been going to generic chain sports bars like Buffalo Wild Wings this is an excellent alternative in East Nashville.

A dissapoint. While our food was good, the service was pretty bad. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. I believe it was the manager who finally walked by and noticed we hadn't been waited on. She is the one who took our orders. When we finally met our waiter, he could care less about being at work. We didn't get refills on our drinks, we couldn't even find him when we needed to wave him down if something. Not one other member of the wait staff offered to help or stop by the table. Maybe some staff training is necessary?

The green chili chicken pizza was great. Husband wasn't super impressed with the signature wings. Said if he tried them again he would put a sauce on them. We were there around 2:00 p.m. so maybe they just weren't as fresh. Definitely giving this place at least a 4 star review because of the outdoor park! They're open to midnight every single night. The food is amazing and worth every penny. The staff is the very best. I went there on the Monday night with four other friends. The staff joke around with us made us feel very welcome and we had a lot of fun. Lots of TVs and lots of sports on all the TVs. This is my new late night place to go for food whenever I'm in Nashville. I highly highly recommend this place you can't go wrong.

Came here because... Well, it was open before noon on a weekday. Shared a couple apps that were tasty. Our bartender was great and her personality made up for the fact that we had to hear Mambo No 5 more than once while we sat at the bar. Awesome to see vegan/lactose intolerant options on a menu at a pizza joint. I saw Batman drinking a pineapple mimosa and had to get one myself. It was delicious.

I have been there before and it's a pretty nice place it has about 28 TVs and no matter where you sit you'll be able to see him the only disappointing thing about it is for it to be a bar I was expecting to purchase a picture They don't serve any pictures only 12 oz glasses so you know what that means. Other than that everything was pretty good and I would recommend it if you're in the area and you want to get away.

I liked the atmosphere but as soon as you walk in it smells kind of like old cleaner/mop water. The pizza was good. I got the lunch special and some cheese bread. My pizza was watery? Underneath the crust, but I'm thinking that's because of the veggies. The marinara was a little on the salty side but not horrible. Overall service was great and they have outlets at the table which I think is nifty. It probably wouldn't be my first choice for pizza but I would go back. Their menu had a lot of selection so i definitely want to go back and try other things. If you're looking for decent pizza with a chill atmosphere definitely check it out.

Loved it here! I feel like this place is a rare find. Real, tasty, grownup food AND a playground for the kids? Brilliant. The pizza was delicious and perfectly crisp on the bottom. But I do agree with another reviewer about the heat and lack of shade or fans by the playground, and the flies. Flies got better when the trash was taken out...maybe there’s a better place for the trash than so close to the tables? But really, everything else was so good, it’s still a solid 5 stars from me! This place rocks! Great food, lots of space and they have an indoor playground for the kids. Happy hour lasted until 7 and the patio said pet-friendly. I was really impressed. They had lots of tvs for sports, a private meeting room, for larger events and I liked that is was big. So many places in EN feel cramped to me. I liked that it was a large restaurant and other table weren't right on top of mine. My other complaint with many of my other favorite places in the neighborhood is the nasty bathrooms or lack of stalls, NOT HERE! They had like 7 stalls and it was very clean. I will definitely be back!! Very happy to see this in the neighborhood!!

Went here on a Saturday morning for an alumni watch party and had a great time! Tons of tvs! There is a playground for kids and a private area for parties. Very clean facility! My husband and I split a 12” pizza. The Pizza was really good (pricey $$). They had an awesome happy hour 10am-2pm for half priced beer. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a family friendly sports bar.

We had a great first experience at Boombozz. My wife wanted to come her for her birthday and it ended up being a great choice! The service, even being pretty busy, was great. The play area outside, with a covered table section, was a god send! The wife and I really enjoyed our pizza and we were both very pleased with how many local beers were on tap. As long as the weather is reasonable we'll be back for sure! My only suggestion would be maybe incorporate some wall mounted fans outside to help keep the air moving and also help keep the bugs away from the food a little more.

We stopped in and tried this place out for dinner while on vacation in Nashville. The pizza tasted delicious. There is an option for a gluten free crust as well. The building has a new feel to it. There is also a children's play area outside. There is a 'for pay' parking lot. I paid $5 for 1 hour. I was told the place is very busy on a Friday and Saturday night. There could be an hour and half wait to get in.

Best cauliflower pizza crust, and their white pie is delicious! I added grilled chicken to mine, which was the best decision. Service was prompt, kind, and during the day it was the perfect place for a quick business meeting. They got my white pie order wrong (it wasn't the white pie) but the server saw it right away, AND they replaced it and gave me the red sauce pizza for free. Made my husband happy! We LOVE this place! We take several groups of friends amd go on Fridays to Trivia night. They are always so accommodating, friendly, helpful and good to us. Variety of dining areas, so you could choose to be right in the action at the bar, have a more private setting with tables or host a private party in a side room. TVs everywhere so you can watch multiple sporting events. They have Gluten-free and cauliflower crust options! Cons: Parking!! You can choose between a pay lot behind the restaurant, across the street or to find parking on the street. While the staff was nice- I think they are still trying to get the hang of it.

Visited this place for the first time tonight. We’re in from out of town and at first glance this is a GENIUS idea! A yummy place for parents to hang and have a beer while the kids get to play?? Yes please! I hope Philadelphia gets one soon. That being said it was stifling and we (the parents) were barely moving so you can imagine how hot the kids were. Some wall or ceiling fans would have made the experience exponentially better. Another thing the fans might help with is the flies. They were landing everywhere and it was pretty darn disgusting. Would definitely go back once they install some oscillating fans!

This place has redifined how sports bars are done. Huge space, plenty of giant tvs, great beer selection and best pizzas anywhere. The smoker's station is directly in front of the main entrance meaning you have to walk through the people circled around smoking unless you come in through the "no entry" area on the side. There is an outdoor playground which could be fun if you have kids. There was no host when I walked in and had to wait a few minutes before anyone approached me to seat me. Maybe I was imagining things, but all the employees seemed a bit stressed/overworked, and I felt a little bad for them. The number of televisions in this place is terrifying. If you want to watch sports then go here, you will be set. The pizza was good.

I cannot say enough about Summer (our waitress)! Peak time of Saturday when breaks were due, we had not had our drink order taken and were sitting in an area that was not in hers.. but she stepped up and said, "This is my first week here, but I will be happy to take care of you!" We all enjoyed our meal. They had a lot of TVs, but unlike some other places they set them to a variety of channels. There would be at least one that would be of interest. We plan to return.

Feels very chain-esque and does not fit in with the aesthetic of East Nashville. Extremely high ceilings and no atmosphere (walls are littered with their gift card advertisements and a huge tacky mural). Beer is pretty expensive when not on happy hour ($7-$8 for local beer). Didn't try the food, but their pizza is priced erratically, and vegan options are scarce (at least they offer vegan cheese though). Don't really see why anybody would choose here over the other great truly local options half a block away.

This pizza place gets 3 stars because they have found a niche. The pizza is only 2 star worthy at best, especially when it's sitting across the block from one the best pizza places in Nashville. HOWEVER, they do have a great place for children to play so 8t makes an awesome place for parents to bring their kids, something that I think a lot of East Nashville is missing.

Super excited to see you back open in East Nashville. Brought my extended family. Super disappointed though at the lack of proper mask wearing. Everyone from the hostess to the GM was not properly wearing their mask. This is a pandemic - please take it seriously and wear the mask properly. Even though you are a regional chain, you need to be concerned with the people who live in this neighborhood who are more vulnerable.

The building is incredible, so many TVs to watch your favorite sports teams and an extensive beer selection. The appetizers were delicious and the tuscan chicken pizza I got was great! Definitely wont be disappointed!

I'm pretty happy with my experience at boombozz. The food is good, the beer selection is great and it's probably the only place in East Nashville that can feed/water you and also occupy kids. This location is definitely better than the one in the Boro.

We LOVE this place due to its location, awesome pizza, friendly and accommodating staff, and enclosed playground for kids. BUT they need to address two things before I will patron it again: (1) fix the FLY PROBLEM. It is unacceptable. Note that it hasn’t been a problem until summertime). It’s also not a difficult fix and a solution should have been put in place immediately upon noticing the issue. Simple fixes include oscillating or ceiling fans, traps, etc. (2) shade the playground - summertime in nashville is HOT. It can’t be too expensive to put a netting above the playground so the plastic isn’t so hot and kids don’t get overheated when playing. Doesn’t have to protect from rain, but should be table stakes to have shaded spots for summer play. Again, we LOVE this place, and I really hope they heed the above feedback, as those things are major deterrents for parents.

The lunch specials during the week are a great deal. 9/10 times you get great fast service but once in a while it can be a bit slower. Don't rush in thinking you are getting in and out because the food is always freshly cooked.

Made it a priority to come here after re-opening (post-tornado). Unfortunately, the entire wait staff wears their masks around their chins (while serving you food), and it took us 30 minutes to close out while the waiter had a lengthy friendly conversation with people at the bar. I usually don't do reviews but I was extremely impressed with Boombozz over on Rusell. My 11 year old spent 3 hours playing on the playground with the other kids which gave me a chance to talk with family I haven't seen in years. I was so busy talking I hardly noticed the millions *not literally* of TVs tuned to every kind of sports game imaginable. Then came the appetizers...oh I was in heaven. The cheesy bread was just perfect. The wings were so good I ordered another plate as my dinner, the tater kegs (which I had never heard of before) dipped in the spicey cheese sauce or in the garlic sour cream was Devine, and finally the hummus was delicious and I hate hummus! When our meals came, most everything was rapidly devoured. I only had the opportunity to try 1 of the pizzas, a Tony's with cauliflower crust (if you thought yuck, so did I) that is until I tried it. It was scrumptious; it tasted just like normal crust. I could definitely see why they won awards for their pizzas. I can't wait to go again. I have to try the dessert next time (I was to full so I forgot 😥).

Eh, it seems like a chain restaurant. An ok local beer selection and a plus is they have a BOGO happy hour. Their food is fine, it seems like a good space for families with kids. But otherwise wouldn't recommend it for beer drinking and food. There are better pizza restaurants close by.
