Reviews of Biscuit Love Gulch
Dana B (WI - MN - TN)
We visited Biscuit Love in the morning after our photo with the wings. We were lucky to get in without a long line, but were surprised to see that they had umbrellas and water available for to visitors who were waiting outside (talk about southern hospitality)!
The biscuits were perfectly flaky and crispy. Their gravy was absolutely delicious. They offered complimentary filtered still and sparkling water at multiple stations in the restaurant, which I thought was wonderful! They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and they make sure they have a spot for you before taking your order. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Biscuit Love and can’t wait to go back!

WORTH THE WAIT! This is our favorite place in Nashville for brunch. Food is outstanding, everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Service was great and the atmosphere is really cute. The only downfall was our mimosas, they were not very good but still a 5 star worthy spot.

I'm not a big breakfast person and if I do have breakfast, it's usually light like a banana and some cashews or a protein Shake. With that said..... this place is INCREDIBLE.
I had the East Nasty (Biscuit with gravy, boneless chicken thigh, and an egg) and it was soooooo good.
The Chronic Bacon.... it's just insane how good it is, I couldn't believe it.
I left here feeling a void knowing that when we leave Nashville, I won't have access to this magical food again. 100% will be back on our next trip!
It's usually very, very busy - you can't make a reservation so expect to wait in line (possibly outside) but it goes pretty quickly. The service isn't anything special but also nothing wrong or bad which is why they still get 5 stars - they basically can just keep up with the crazy high demand (I don't blame them and nothing wrong with this, just saying don't go there expecting true restaurant service).
Atmosphere is... a very busy breakfast joint with amazingly incredible super duper delicious food ❤️🥰

Was in Nashville for a 3rd time and was determined to eat breakfast here... it had been on my list at least 3 years. I waited in line approximately 45ish minutes, but it was worth the wait!
I had a Dirty Princess, cheese grits, coffee and Mimosa. Everything was delicious. The chicken was spicy and the gravy on the thicker side how I like it. The grits had a really good cheese in them and the flavor was on point. I could not have been more pleased with the food.

This was really good while there was no line. If there had been a line like the last couple days, I wouldn’t have waited.
The biscuits were fluffy inside but hard and crunchy outside, which I’m not a fan of the crunchy biscuit. The gravy lacked flavor and almost tasted sweet.. the only reason this place gets a 4 star is because of the cinnamon roll biscuit thing. That was phenomenal.

We arrived in Nashville, TN, at 6:15 am! What were we going to do? Eat! We got a recommendation to come to the Gulch neighborhood and eat at Biscuit Love. When you walk in, you check out the menu, order and pay then you get seated.
The food was delicious. The restaurant is spotless. Many people were here with their suitcases so don’t be bashful if you are coming right from the airport.
The food is really rich. I’m happy we tried it out, and we will def recommend this place. Well that’s my 2 cents now you decide 🫶

Before flying out of Nashville, we grabbed Biscuit Love. It had been awhile since I have been - but my husband hadn’t been. We had the bonuts, which don’t disappoint. It’s not an overly sweet treat - it’s perfect and soft in the middle!
Both my husband and I had the Princess - the chicken is amazing and very flavorful, with a great touch with the pickles. And you cannot go wrong with a mimosa to top it all off!

$12.50 is really good for what you get for the egg plate they also let me swap out meat for the salad since I am vegetarian at no extra cost which was awesome. The biscuit was warm and fluffy oh my gosh it was so good! We definitely recommend getting the mini donuts for the table they were freaking awesome. OCTAVIA was an amazing staff member and kept the line moving! She was a great menu expert as well and so funny and friendly #OctaviaForBiscuitPresident

Great breakfast joint in the heart of downtown Nashville! We are from Atlanta and it reminded us a lot of Maple Street Biscuit Company! We visited in a mid-Sunday morning and experienced a line of about 30 mins. It was well worth the wait! Food was great and atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable. The drip coffee and vanilla latte were superb! We felt the menu was a little pricey for what you get but worth it in the end. We will definitely be back next time we are in Nashville but will try to come at an earlier time to avoid the line if possible.

It seems like ordering and then having the food delivered to your table is common in Nashville. That is how they do it here.
The line may seem long outside, but there is hardly a line inside. Plus the line seems to move quickly. The breakfast options are not complicated. They have complimentary umbrellas available for the rainy days, which is a very nice touch.
The food? Good stuff. The biscuits are biscuits. They are not the fluffy kind you'll get at some places. The gravy is excellent. If you want Tabasco, you may need to bring it yourself. The potatoes are not to be passed on. They are tasty.
Although it is basically counter service, the staff is attentive and the service is great.

This was our first time here and we will be coming back! There was a little bit of a line but it was to be expected as we had seen a significant line the day before. I ordered the East nasty and added an egg to it, it was great! The gravy on top was great and the biscuit was awesome. 5/5 for this. My wife had the Lily and she said it was very rich and she would get it again. We also got fried potatoes and they were good a little under seasoned for my liking. We also tried the Bonuts and they were also very good. We plan on returning on our next visit. I also tried the fruit tea and would recommend anyone to try for anyone that likes sweet tea. 4.5/5 for us and we will be back.

Loved the "Southern Benny", a great take on the classic "Eggs Benedict". Pairs great with the fresh squeeze orange juice.
The fresh squeezed orange juice is actually fresh squeezed and it tastes great, no bitter aftertaste. It pairs so well with the biscuits and gravy, it's excellent.
The biscuits and gravy were fresh and HOT! Everything tasted great. My only small qualm is that I also ordered the cheesy grits and those could have been a little bit hotter honestly, but I did come just before close so maybe it was just that. Still tasted great!
Would recommend.

First time here but a veteran of Nashville and I can’t believe I have never been to one of their locations before! The food here is top notch and sure to satisfy just about everyone. Eclectic, fresh, innovative and very unique. The wait can be daunting but they move pretty quickly. On the day I was there we waited 45 minutes but the line looked much longer than that. They have unique drinks and other items that are worth doing too. The am since is open and inviting and very clean. It is family friendly but there were no kids around on the day I was there (it is the Gulch). An easy walk or Uber from downtown explains the crowd. I ordered the “Princess” and it was delicious. I heard they are opening one in my hometown - I can’t wait! Enjoy!

My sister and I stopped here on our way out of Nashville headed back to Indianapolis. My sister had the biscuits and gravy with egg and I had the hot chicken and biscuit. Both were great as was the brown sugar lemonade. We were seated near the restroom and when we asked to move, they were very accommodating. The service was friendly overall and the food was great.

We were looking for the best breakfast in Nashville Al while visiting and many people suggested this place. The line was out the door, but it didn’t take that long. The staff was friendly, though it’s hard for them to really provide great service given the hectic nature of their setup (you order before sitting and everything gets brought out to you at once when it’s ready). As such, there wasn’t really waitstaff checking in on us. Even so, that’s just how this place operates and everyone was quite pleasant. And the food doesn’t disappoint. The biscuits are fluffy and delicious and the gravy is top notch. The portions are a little small, though, and if biscuits and gravy is what you’re after you’ll want to order extra gravy because they don’t give much. But all things considered this was a great experience and we’ll worth your time.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! BEST CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD!
This was my first time eating here. You'll find the menu on a TV screen and order before sitting down.
I ordered the East Nasty. The gravy was beyond good, biscuits were great, and the chicken was very juicy. The staff was very friendly and the food got to our table fast. This was after having what looked like a full house.
Jason Lin
Go early, avoid the line. Good food. Could use a little bit more improvements on serving and upkeep.
We went on Christmas eve Friday early in the morning around 8am. We were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes.
You order and pay (tip optional) at the ordering counter when just entering the restaurant, then the order taker will lead you to your table and give you a number sign and your food will be brought to you by your server. Our food came about 5 minutes after we sat down which we considered pretty quick!
Overall, the food was great! Unique type of biscuit, almost like a buttery pastry bread with a fairly crunchy/crispy/firm top and bottom. The chicken we had with the biscuit tasted great too! Our only complaint was the food was not hot enough, it was just lukewarm and then it got cold quickly as it wasn’t on a hot plate. This was our major disappointment.
They have two water stations where you can pour yourselves either sparkling or regular water. And if you need to-go boxes, they were left on top of the water machines.
Our server was not very attentive as we had to wait a long time and finally had to wave at her so we could get our coffee refills. She wasn’t making an effort on visiting her tables to ensure all her guests had everything they needed throughout their meal.
For the parking at Gulch (at the garage across from the restaurant), 1st hour parking is free. Up to 2 hours for $6, each additional hour after that is $2. They have some pretty advanced technology as you scan a posted QR code and enter your car and payment info to initiate the parking charge. Once you are ready to exit, you just drive out of the garage as they have a license plate reader installed by the exit lane so it automatically “checks you out“ and charges the payment. It worked pretty accurately as we monitored our e-parking ticket going from still in parked mode to “free of charge” within a few seconds after we drove out of the exit lane.
We felt lucky as we visited early in the morning so the wait line was only a few minutes to order. By the time we left around 9am the line was already ~8-10 parties long. I suggest visiting early to avoid the wait line. Overall, I would recommend this place if the wait line is not too bad! ( just remember to ask for your food to be hot!)
Sam Langley
Such a cool atmoshpere with friendly staff. This is my new favorite breakfast spot. Was my first time trying shrimp and grits. So good! Of course I had to order a biscuit too. The biscuits are definitely like nowhere else. Must check this place out, at least once.
Diandra Nieves
This place is worth the hype. We waited in line for about 35 minutes. The staff continued to come out and check on the crowd. They provided umbrellas and water. Once inside, you place your order and then get assigned a table. The food was amazing and fresh! Chicken was juicy and biscuits were soft & crispy at the same time. I would highly recommend this place!
Leigah Custer
Bonuts were sweet and delicious! The shrimp and grits was also tasty and had good flavor. Biscuits were light and flaky! We arrived around 9 on a Sunday and waited outside in line for about 30 minutes. I didn’t notice any convenient parking areas; everyone seemed to be arriving on foot or by Uber. Unfortunately, the employees weren’t very personable.
Lisa Driscoll
I read that Biscuit Love was kind of a must do for a first trip to Nashville. So right! It's pretty easy to get to and parking was no issue in the nearby garage.
We stood in line about 30 minutes. We were a party of four and our food was ready super quick after ordering and being seated.
Everyone thought it was really, really good. I would definitely visit again and am already craving another biscuit!
Amelia Mulligan
We were recommended to go to Biscuit Love by our Uber driver and hotel staff, but when we arrived their on Thursday we were overwhelmed with a huge line so we decided to opt out. Sunday morning we ended up adventuring back to the Gulch and noticed there was no line up so we decided to pop in to try a biscuit. We just got the basic one that came with a side of jam and were blown away by how good it was. Next time we visit, we will definitely stop by for a bigger meal because everything we saw that came out looked amazing. Once we ordered there was also a ton of space to sit, so I recommended visiting on a Sunday, or avoiding peak times!
Dj Sullivan
We've heard a lot of good reviews on this so we decided to try it. When we arrived there there was A-line out the door and down to the corner. We waited in line it took approximately 20 minutes to get into the building. Once you're in it only takes a short time to order and maybe 10 more minutes to get your food.
The experience was great the food was just so so. It was just in my opinion priced too high for what it is. It wasn't as good as it should have been. The chicken was grisly and it wasn't just my plate there was several others in our party that said the same thing. I'm not sure I'd go back
Clinton Kurtz
Cool spot. The biscuits were great, but the chicken was not as good as I expected. The mimosas were good but pricey. Great spot for a quick family breakfast. Park in the garage across the street
M W
Long wait, but definitely worth it. The chicken sandwich and fresh oj are on point. This restaurant is also pet friendly. We originally planned to have brunch at the Milk&Honey at Gulch, but they refused to let us bring our dog.
Through Becs Specs
Arguably one of the top brunch spots in Nashville…you will find delicious breakfast plates & biscuits at Biscuit Love in the Gulch of Nashville, TN! If you are looking for a quick sit down restaurant, this may not be your spot…but I truly believe the wait is worth it. We enjoyed a great breakfast with excellent service. There is a TON to do and see in the area when you are done eating (hopefully you get to see the Amelia’s Flower truck!!)
Alana Dreimann
Good spot for brunch if you’re a biscuit lover. Indulge in these layered warm biscuits with homemade jams. The line looks long, but it moves quickly and the restaurant offered delicious warm tea outside while you wait. If you love a sweet breakfast item, don’t miss the biscuit French toast 🤤 …
Paaj Fuab Hang
Food was delicious! I got the Princess. The chicken was crispy, tender and was bursting with flavors. A hint of spice and honey. Biscuit was great and the bonuts looked sweet but was just balance right and icing was light and fluffy. Water is self serve. If you need to go box, it's located at the water area.
Bekki Johnson
My latte was amazing. My friend loved her chai as well. The food was just ok. If the line was short and I was in the area I’d stop and try something new but since I was raised on southern style biscuits and gravy it fell a little flat. The gravy was great, the biscuit was just weird.
Tiffany Braman
Service was fantastic and despite what looked like a long line, we were seated and fed very quickly. The hot peach tea was the highlight of the meal for me. The biscuit was delicious. We also ordered the veggie bowl with grit base and would pass on that in the future, or at least opt not to add the grits as they were pretty runny and barely noticeable. The bonuts were okay.
David J Bohnet
I wanted so bad to lovvvve this place. So much that I waited 40 minutes! I personally am just not a fan of the flag service game. That essentially is why the have a line. Once you get inside you order like a fast food joint then find a seat. Food was decent. Biscuit were not the best I’ve ever had. They have coffee drinks and mimosas-which I would have ordered a second, but was I supposed to go wait back in line?!
The only other person we saw was an food runner..Problem #2 what is gratuity going to if there is no actual service other than an order taker and a foodrunner? I’m all about supporting service industry but expecting 20% is a tough ask for the experience. They do have a ton of merch which is cool for tourist.
MARCELLA SEIDENSTICKER
Best biscuits we have ever had! Very clean and comfortable environment. Large portions can be shared. Excellent service. Healthy options too :)
Courtney Berry
We tried a mix of sweet and savory: The Gertie, The B-roll, SEC, East Nasty, and Southern Benny. Yes, that's 5 items for 4 people. Oh, and drinks! English breakfast tea, chai, coffee, and a PSL. We were not disappointed. Family ranked The Gertie above The B-roll. The Benny slightly edged out the SEC. My oldest doesn't usually share but the East Nasty is totally shareable (he said it was really good. Have to take his word on that). The biscuits are flaky layers, not homestyle. Everyone liked them. You order up front and then shown to a table. We waited in line about 15 minutes before we ordered. The food came really fast. I say you have to try at least once!
adam young
The food was delicious and loved the fresh, machined orange juice! Great place to stop by for breakfast, but get there early. There is a line out the door.
Jerry L. Baker
Long lines to get in but it moves fairly quickly so don't let that stop you from trying this place out.
Food is tasty, biscuits flaky and flavorful sausage gravy. Wasn't a fan of bonuts, but the cinnamon biscuits were great
Keith Walker
This place had their ingredients down. Biscuits were flaky, what a nice surprise after eating in many places who don't get this critical basic down. Gravy was nice thick, sausage tasty and enough spice. One less star, as it could be cozier - but I put it back for the local purveyors of their food supplies and commitment to staff.
The Chronic Bacon if you are wondering, seemed to have brown sugar, syrup and chili oil or something similar. Very good.
Jessica Myers
Such a fun, trendy space! They really pack in the tables so we sat elbow to elbow to the table next to us. Food was amazing!! Definitely recommend a fried chicken biscuit.
Nathan Gesner
Long line at 8am on a March Wednesday. It was twice as long by the time we got in. Service and food were pretty good. Servings were small but that's because we got meals without biscuits. I know, right?!?. Tables are so close it felt like we were eating breakfast with the people next to us. Bloody Mary didn't seem to have any vodka. Probably 4.5 stars.
Beth-Ann Young
Fluffy and fresh biscuits, or else. Had the Southern Benny with outstanding gravy on those oh so tasty biscuits. Accompanied by a Bloody Mary because it’s that kind of morning. They provide a counter service then be seated situation which I didn’t expect for some reason. As I people watch there’s a steady stream of patrons either confused or concerned or needing something addressed by staff. They would linger near the kitchen entrance so they can grab someone’s attention to make whatever their individual inquiries are. The overall vibe is fun and fresh with a gentle hum of patrons talking energetically. This is not a sleepy place. Extra perk is reading the clever sayings on the staff tshirts. Current personal favorite: resting brunch face. Very fun and delicious.
Samantha Schinnerer
Loved my breakfast here! We tried to go on Friday around 11, the line was insanely long. So we decided to try again Saturday morning around 7:30. Slight line but didn’t take long to get in. So glad we got to go! I got the princess, love the spicy chicken 😄
Henry Voros
“The Gulch” is a neighborhood known as a place that the locals are drawn to reside in, and for good reason. During just one visit we couldn’t help eyeballing various buildings and envisioning living in one of them. While there are many reasons we felt immediately connected to this neighborhood, one of them had to be “Biscuit Love.”
I don’t claim to be a “bread guy”, but the biscuits here are unbelievable. So light, buttery, and flavorful (without that post meal greasy “jet lag in your gut” feeling).
Ironically, our breakfast actually began with dessert. Their “bonuts” (biscuit and donut combo) could easily have been enjoyed after dinner. (Shout out to our friend @donuthunting. We’d be interested in your thoughts if you ever visit here.)
We sampled varying versions of the “Southern Benny”, “S.E.C.”, and “East Nasty” and although they were all tremendous we couldn’t help but experience some FOMO while glancing at each other’s plates.
While they do offer dishes that don’t include biscuits or gravy, why would you engage in self injurious behavior like that??? If while ordering they offer you those options just say “yes” (even if you’re just getting coffee). They are both seriously that good.
You should plan on a wait to get in (it took us almost an hour and we arrived at the non-peak time of 11:00 a.m.). If I lived in The Gulch I’d try and find a way to eat here every week. If you’ve visited Nash and missed this spot y’all oughta come back just for that reason alone, ‘ya hear!
And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Nicholas Perkons
Biscuit was incredible and makes it worth a visit. However, might be best to just get it to go/delivery as the service is quite slow. Eggs were over-salted and the grits have more cream than grits (which could be a positive for some - but not for us). Coffee was also pretty good.
Simon Stutzman
Was in town for a conference and wanted something I couldn’t get where I live. I can only say good things about this place! The food was fantastic (very filling). I went on a Sunday at 8:30am and there was no wait at all. By the time I left the line was out the door. Highly recommend!
Christopher Elliott
Great experience but not a big fan of the layered biscuits. You’ll need a knife to cut through the biscuits. However the chicken thighs are unrivaled as they are extra crispy and made fresh to order. Coffee is great as well.
Amie Lenhart
Biscuit Love is amazing! We arrived at about 9:45am and the line wasn't too bad. We waited maybe 30 mins or so. I had their bonuts and their nashville hot sandwich. I also ordered their bloody mary which was small but also very tasty. I highly recommend Biscuit Love!
Kyle Ames
If you're on a road trip of love for valentine's day with your fiancé and doggos, where better to stop than biscuit love? 1. I love dogs 2. I love chicken 3. I love biscuits 4. I love great coffee
Put all of those things together in a mad scientist's lab and what is produced is biscuit love! A wonderful concoction of all things I love! Come on in, bring your dog and for future visits, will definitely be splitting one of the biscuits, they're huge!
Ludovica Scalco
Great southern breakfast! Definitely the best biscuits I have ever tried.
The gravy is delicious, its seasoning is unique! Would recommend this breakfast place for sure, it has earned its good reputation
Tobias Piering
Delicious! I went around 830 on a weekday and there was a pretty big queue. Ordering was easy and I got a biscuit with hot chicken and a sunny side egg… the Princess. I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic. It was great. Also got the brown sugar latte which was good but on the sweet side. Friendly service.
Erin Combs
Getting here before 8 made for a very short line and extremely fast service. The Princess, the Egg Plate, cheesy potatoes, and Bonuts to share... All absolutely fabulous!
Richard Urquhart
Very tasty and worth a visit. Always a wait here but very much worth it. Never had a better gravy experience in the US. Great coffee too.
Sandra Panton
OMG I literally googled good breakfast and this restaurant came up. I got there and the staff and Manager Arielle were so pleasant and helpful. I ordered the Princess and it DID NOT disappoint!!!! The chicken was seasoned just right and the flat my crunch crust was OMG amazing!!! The buscuit was super good and the hot sauce honey drizzled over the entire open face sandwich was perfect!!!!
John Roberts
Very cute small breakfast shop. Get there early because there will be a line. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was sparkling clean. We both ordered the chicken/gravy/biscuit with an egg which blew my mind in flavor. Drinks and food came out super fast. Try the Bonuts for a delicious treat.
Sam Sachs
Super busy and hip breakfast spot. We came here on a Monday morning early enough where we were able to walk right inside. By the time we were leaving, the line stretched down the street. The menu is relatively small, but you come here for the biscuits, end of story. They are very good, and definitely very filling. I do think the food is a bit overpriced. I paid nearly $9 for just a biscuit and gravy. I think you get a better deal by paying a few more bucks and getting one of the platters that includes a biscuit plus eggs, bacon and grits. The coffee was good, but no refills (or at least I wasn't offered any). Parking in the garage across the street is free for an hour.
Michael Singh (Mikey)
We actually waited to get into this place. There was a line out the door. The actual wait was about 30 minutes, not bad at all. I had the Princess, which was delicious. I also had their PSL and lavender lattes, both were top notch. I domt think it can get better than this.
Lynda N.
OMG. Both. our. dishes. were. SO. GOOD. The biscuits were so flakey yet soft and buttery. We ordered the SEC (sausage egg cheese) and biscuits and gravy. I'm drooling as I type this. I also had the brown sugar lemonade (it was OK and they actually forgot to bring it out initially), but the biscuits are, of course, the main stars. Oh, and the line to order goes faster than you think.
Eric Ibanez
If breakfast is your thing then you need to eat here. Everything is delicious but don't leave without trying the bonuts.. The service operates like a well oiled machine which makes up for the long wait lines..
Leslie Gilbert
Absolutely amazing breakfast!!! Love the tea. The gravy is so tasty!!! Get there early. We had to wait in line. The line is worth it.
Peter H
Completely worth the long wait in line. The biscuit was excellent, as expected, but the fried chicken on the "East Nasty" was maybe the best fried chicken I've ever had. It was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The bonuts were also great. The shrimp and grits was very good, but were overshadowed by the chicken and biscuit.
Kailyn Wintenburg
A must try in Nashville! Get their early and bring a jacket if it's winter you will wait outside. The service was great and the food was sooo good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the cinnamon roll biscuit we ate it before a picture could be taken.
Tyson Brown
Fun atmosphere. Long wait. Recommend the Bonuts but not the biscuits and gravy. Iconic must visit but only once.
Jeff Gottdownunder
Biscuit definitely the star here. Closely followed by the coffee. Efficient service. Very friendly waitstaff. Order at counter and they bring food out. Very nice patio in back to escape the crowd . Free parking for first hour in lot across street.
Catherine Horn
The Bonuts are NOT to be missed!! We literally ran a few blocks and got here 5 mins to closing. Not only did they still go over the menu in depth, they declined our offers to take it to go and let us eat inside instead. 5 stars for customer service alone. I thought the Bonuts would be good but they surpassed ALL expectations and were everyone’s favorites. B Rolls are also good, esp if you like cinnamon rolls, but Bonuts stole the show. 10/10!!
BA R
What a cute lil spot in the Gulch. Delicious food. Great biscuits. Best time to come when it’s not so crowded, mid afternoon. 8/10
Damilka Bisbal
Restaurant is ran very efficiently. Even with a line outside my family and I didn’t have to wait long. The biscuits were great and flaky, but the highlight of the whole meal was the bacon.✨🥓
Traci Meredith
Cute little place, the staff was helpful, courteous, and very fast we went before 9 so there was wasn’t a wait. In my opinion the food wasn’t worth the money we spent. Very expensive
Perri Volz
Such a cute booming place. Usually a line out the door! You order at the counter then they bring you to your table so the line moves quickly. Biscuits are light and flaky not the ones I’m used to but they are good. Several combinations to choose from I just wish they had more healthy ingredients to add to the not so healthy biscuits and gravy. Like avocado, spinach, etc. The B-Roll is a must and get it loaded!! You’ll thank me later!
Kathryn Robertson
THE BISCUITS ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and a week later I am jonesing for more. I may need to move to Nashville just so I can get some more of that delicious biscuits and gravy.
Jeffrey Juliano
Good breakfast. Bonuts, the shrimp and grits, and the hungry human were good. Friendly staff.
Walked in, there was no line. Ordered and sat, food came quickly. When we left the line was out the door. I would like to eat here again, although not enough to wait in that line. At home I can find similar food without such a long line.
Natalie C
Great place for brunch. Be prepared go line up for a while but its so worth it! They even had complimentary hot tea outside for those of us braving the cold. We had the Nasty Nash and the Hungry Human bowl so good!
Zachary Harrison
Amazing spot. Totally worth the wait. Don’t let line intimidate you, it’s maybe 45 minutes and once inside food comes instantly. Military friendly and everything ordered by my large group was Devine. We wanted to return the next day.
Daniel Antoniazzi
Waitress was great, food was ok, hostess was rude. I had the east nasty, it probably would have been good if it was hot but the gravy was cold. I had higher hopes for this place but it wasn't awful either.
Barry Paiga
Great local place for breakfast or brunch. Line was down the street but worth the wait. They don't have a ton of variety on the menu. Most things revolve around their biscuits. The food is good and comes out quickly after ordering. The bonuts are really good. The blueberry jam really makes them.
Wilson Tsang
Really delicious place, some of the best chicken I had was here!! The biscuits are also really good and I really loved the creme filled bonuts (biscuit donuts) and biscuit cinnamon roll! All in all, really good food and quick service made for a tasty meal

This place is great just stopped while passing through!! Line is intimidating but goes pretty quick!! You Ofer right inside door and then they promptly bring your food!!!
Elka
Had it delivered with DD, tried the Chronic Bacon, it tasted like bacon with thick, spicy frosting on one side. I thought it would be closer to Snooze's bacon, but was wrong. The East Nasty had a layered biscuit with a greasy piece of chicken and gravy. It was enough without the egg ordered. The B roll was deep fried instead of baked. It was crispy in parts and it tasted like something artery clogging from the fair. Terrible, didn't finish it. The Bonuts were soft on the inside and good. The coffee was good, but didn't have the flavor shots ordered.

Got there Friday at 11 and had to wait almost an hour to get inside. Needless to say it was worth the wait. The biscuits were tender. The gravy was full of sausage. Fried chicken was legit. Definitely put it on your list of places to go.

If any breakfast could be worth an hour wait this is it. Go early, not just because you'll wait 60+ minutes to eat, but because you'll need a full day or walking around Nashville to burn off the 1,500 calories you're sure yo choke down while you're there. Start with the bonuts -- little nuggets of fried dough with cake cream for hats and a berry compote for feet. If you forget them -- get back on line and wait another 60+ minutes; they're worth it. Then, get anything with a biscuit attached to it -- it doesn't really matter what. I had the SEC and found it to be delicious.
M Shelton
Had the East Nasty with an added egg. Delicious! Be prepared for a small wait outside during busy weekend hours but the line moves quickly. Highly recommended when in Nashville.
Penny Schuyler
My absolute favorite when coming to Nashville! Bonuts and Bill Neal’s shrimp & grits! The best! Can’t forget to mention the fresh squeezed orange juice and Bloody Mary’s!
Alyssa Godshall
This was my favorite breakfast in Nashville! Definitely recommend getting here early in the morning and early in the week if you can, as the line can get lengthy and wrap around the block. The service was so quick and food was DELICIOUS!
Melvin Gonzalez
I heard about Biscuit Love while I was visiting Nashville from a friend. I have to say it absolutely lives up to the hype. Some of the most delicious biscuits and gravy that I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Nashville!
Jenny Iannelli
The hour wait in line outside in the cold was actually worth it. Amazing food and service. The biscuits are so good and I def recommend trying the bonuts! HEAVENLY.
Brenda R.
Love it and fast service!!!
Food is eggsellent! Lol
I believe it's a cute spot for brunch. I loved that they had umbrellas for everyone and water mean while we waited outside.
Mike Panfile
Long wait, so get there early
You pay in front before you are served
I got the biscuits and sausage gravy with over easy egg on top($2.00 upcharge for 1 egg)
Sausage gravy was very good, dense not watery and lots of sausage
Biscuits were just OK, I had better back home in Philly
And one egg!? For $2.00 upcharge I expected 2
My partner got the fried chicken with biscuits, sausage gravy and an egg
The chicken was excellent, the best thing on the plate.
Fernando Martinez
Are you a new hipster in town? Don't care about spending money yet? Do you like to dress in non-matching clothes? This is your perfect place to have brunch. Don't get me wrong, the East Nasty is truly an amazing dish; however, prices are very high.
Expect to pay $3 for an average cup of coffee, $2 for an egg.
In short, come to see the display of colorful people's hairs and funny dresses, and enjoy a delicious biscuit, with soft and moist fried chicken, and an incredible gravy.
Ryan Stevens
My wife wanted to take me here when we traveled together to Nashville for the first time and this place did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic. Especially the Bonuts!
Gianna Lafayette
The Chronic bacon is a must 🙌🏽 . Brown Sugar Lemonade Was Delish as well . Love their take on a Biscuit . It's giving pastry and biscuit all at once ✨
Michael Potter
Worth the wait! And there will be a wait because this place is great. Service is friendly and helpful. But you're here for the food so: the Princess is perfection - perfectly fried chicken, sweet and spicy without making an unholy mess, with fantastic pickles. Pairs very well with the cheesy grits. The East Nasty is also very good - a fried chicken thigh is perfect with sausage gravy and cheese. The Gertie is quite tasty, more confectionery than the others, but by no means overly sweet. My vegan fiancèe and I really enjoyed the tomato gravy on their fluffy, flaky biscuits. The pumpkin spice latte is fantastic, and the brown sugar lemonade is a perfect palate cleanser with a heavier plate like the East Nasty. If you're in Nashville, you should definitely make the effort to get here.
Sarah Kelley
Loved the atmosphere and service. The "bonuts" were delicious. Not a fan of the biscuits. Or the gravy. Hubby and I both got the southern benny and a side of cheese grits. Cheese grits were awesome. However the biscuits were hard on the sides, our forks didn't want to cut through them. And the gravy was not my favorite. being a southerner, I just expected something totally different. Fun place, great service, cute location... probably won't ever go back.
Alex Hallows
I got the biscuit with sausage & gravy and it was delicious. We also got a secret menu item, the nasty princess (the east nasty biscuit with hot chicken) and it was very good as well! The chai latte was to die for, will go back just for that!!
Lester Charles
Dustin the host was very warm and welcoming despite a line of 40+ people waiting for brunch. The lady at the cashier was very nice as well. Nice decor and atmosphere. Seating was kind of tight but we made conversation with the couple we were seated next to. We ordered the Princess (hot chicken on a biscuit) and Bonuts for food. Very tasty but very rich in flavor. Come with an empty stomach or it might be hard to finish the food. Coffee with a shot of lavender syrup was surprisingly refreshing. Made to order, freshly squeezed orange juice was also very refreshing and authentic. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nashville.
Tammi Knapp
Loved the vibe, but went specifically for the steak and eggs that people raved about and that's no longer on the menu. So instead we got the shrimp and grits, hungry human bowl and tried the bonuts. Everything was good, but not stand in line amazing. Luckily we went early enough that we missed the line.
Evie Tripolitis
Had a gluten free and vegan option… veggies in red sauce and potatoes…. Fantastic service and a big ole line.
Andrea D'Arpa
Pretty good restaurant for biscuits! A bit of a line outside but it is worth the wait if you love biscuits!
Brandi Delgado
Freaking fantastic food! We arrived on Thursday at about 10:30am. There was a long line, but it was moving very quickly. We LOVED that they had cute umbrellas for blocking the sun that you could borrow. It was cute and thoughtful. We maybe waited 20 minutes, and it was definitely worth it. The staff was soooo friendly, even with being seriously busy. They got our order in quick. The woman taking our order even let me try the lemonade without asking to make sure I liked it.
We both got “The Nasty”. That was the best fried chicken thigh I have ever personally had. It was crunch, flavorful, and juicy. The biscuit was so flaky and just simply perfect. The gravy had so much flavor and was just the perfect match for the rest of the plate.
This place was clean, friendly, and delicious!
yvette berndt
Trendy breakfast place. Biscuits are definitely the bomb, good food. Good portion sizes. Creamy grits. They serve all drinks in plastic ware... Really should be more environmentally active. Show that they recycle. If they don't, then they need to. Orange juice is skimpy for the price. I would've rated higher had it not been giving larger drink portions and been more environmentally friendly.
Daniel theNerd
We had a good meal here. The biscuits and flaky style and baked well. The ambience is nice. You wait outside in the line and order, then they sit you at an open table. It's a very popular place so expect a wait in the morning. Also they aren't cheap, one person can easily get a $30-40 meal.
Ankit Chainani
Worth the hype!
Waited almost 30 mins in the line but it was totally worth it.
Had buscuits and gravy ( yes you can have gravy on the side)
Finished the meal with delicious bonuts!
Definitely recommend
Hunter McHugh Smith
Super delicious breakfast. Worth the wait! I loved the fresh orange juice and the sausage gravy was flavorful.
Madi P
Absolutely delicious! Best breakfast stop in Nashville! The bonuts are a MUST! So light, melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly balanced! Follow it up with the shrimp and grits and you won't be disappointed. Served quickly and great atmosphere. Little pricey— $60 for breakfast for 3— but well worth it. Parking is directly across the street and free for an hour!
Patrick Boszko
Absolutely delicious. I would have gone there every day for breakfast, but the line was down the block.
Jason Willig
Long line worth the wait. Come hungry & not on a diet. SEC (egg, cheese, sausage on cut biscuit), cheesy grits, side salad (brussel sprouts & hazel nuts) all great. Fresh squeezed OJ & great lemonade. Def be back.
Christopher Rodriguez
I wasn’t sure I wanted to wait because of the line outside but figured that if ere was a line it had to be worth the wait. Loved the fact that we waited in 90 degree weather and the restaurant put umbrellas outside for customers to block out the sun. When we finally got inside we ordered, sat down, and our food came out less then ten minutes later. My taste buds were happily bubbling on my tongue like a toddlers first taste of sugar. Amazing experience.
Mukesh Babu Kancharla
Couldn’t visit this place on our trip but ordered takeout. Lived up to the hype. Sausage gravy on top on chicken is so good
DawnGetsWaxy: Independent Scentsy Director
Honestly just “whelmed”... I’m confused why this is so dang popular with constant long lines? The grits were phenomenal and I enjoyed the brown sugar lemonade and Brussels sprout salad, but the oatmeal was beautiful yet so so bland, and how are these the biscuits of a place called Biscuit Love?! They’re not southern style biscuits and they’re totally just square versions of a certain dough boys flaky layers. Except drier. They don’t look anything like the biscuits I’ve seen in photos over the past couple years that made me want to try here. I wouldn’t wait in a line for it again...and I wouldn’t get biscuits. And it’s weird to say I would go to a self-proclaimed biscuit place to get non-biscuits...
Jason Turner
Absolutely amazing breakfast! We were a group of 9 and there was a bit of a wait but they were so accommodating!! The staff was wonderful. I had the East Nasty and it was exactly what I needed after a night on Broadway. Added a scrambled egg too. I highly recommend it!!
Antonio Gilkey
Such a cute place and delicious food. The Bonuts were definitely a show stopper. So simple yet so delicious!
Cayla Priest
Had a lovely breakfast at Biscuit Love. I had the shaved Brussels with poached eggs & it was really good, eggs poached perfectly. Of course, I had to get a biscuit w/ jam and it was wonderful. Also had a great mimosa & vanilla iced coffee w/ oat milk. Better yet was the accommodation to allow us to sit outside when the patio was closed - it was appreciated so much to have someone respect the need to social distance. Thank you a million times over.
K Mo
This place is excellent! You should try the Bonuts for the table— biscuits deep fried and rolled in cinnamon sugar, then they add lemon cream and serve on top of blueberry compote. Biscuits and gravy were amazing! If you’re visiting and want a taste for true southern cooking, you should stop in. We also had coffee which was so delicious! My only regret is being too busy to enjoy another cup.
Behnaz M
We had our first breakfast in Biscuit Love Gulch while staying in Nashville. We chose this place because of the 5K reviews. I would say “it was okay” and can’t say it was the best because the day after that, we tried another Biscuit place, which was amazing ( check my reviews).
In addition, the host was not friendly at all, and that’s the last thing you would like to see in the morning, starting your day!
David Miclette
Fantastic restaurant! Great service, energy, and food. Best biscuits in Nashville. The flaky kind that peel apart. The orange juice was freshly squeezed in the mist interesting way I've ever seen. Highly recommend!
Veena Choudary
Absolutely fantastic. :)
The line is long. Plan on arriving early- well worth it.
The gal taking orders is very helpful and friendly. She did not rush any one and made sure they got what they wanted. Plenty of visitors to Nashville and so it does take a moment or two to orient yourself and place the order. She was awesome. You place your order and are walked to your table. They have outside seating as well.
We got the Bonuts and B roll to share. We also tried the biscuits and gravy (on the side, I recommend getting it on the biscuit).
The food arrived very, very quickly after ordering.
There is a lavender syrup for coffee and it was excellent- truly took the good coffee to a whole other level. :)
The orange juice is freshly squeezed and very, very good.
I cannot rave about the food enough. The B roll which is a fantastically flaky cinnamon roll is divine. We did not get it fully loaded (pecans and icing)- and the sweetness was just right.
The Bonuts were melt in your mouth with the delightful lemon mascarpone and the blueberry compote which was heavenly. Biscuits and gravy very, very good!
The restaurant was very, very clean. There are water stations in both ends. The merchandise is very cute too.
The only feedback I have is that for the traffic- one restroom stall was broken. I can see how that would be an issue as the place got busier.
Other than that- everything was wonderful. Get there early. Enjoy the food and walk to the What Lifts You mural a minute away. :)
Maddie Millick
Such a great experience! They were very efficient with everything, which was impressive. On top of that, the food was SO good, and the employees were really friendly. We got there a little bit earlier in the morning to avoid a longer line. Even then, it had a line, but it wasn’t long until we placed our order. I look forward to visiting again!
Mike Mike
Sweet fancy Moses this place borders on "epic". Quick two night visit in Nashville and had breakfast twice @ BLove. Each visit I went with the hearty Egg Plate - scrambled, the creamiest grits around, thick cut bacon and square Goddess of love known as a biscuit. Shakespeare couldn't put into words how great the food was. Exceptionally friendly staff too. Give it shot. Peace !
Neal Wilkinson
No one could successfully argue that biscuit love isn’t good. It is definitely good but it is not stand-in-line-for-an-hour good. There are places nearby that are just as good or better and some without much of a line. I’m not saying don’t go here. I’m saying definitely go here and go early. If you get here and there is a long line go somewhere else (Milk & Honey is fantastic and Blue Stripes is such a unique concept). BUT if there is a short line show some biscuit love love and you won’t be disappointed. If there is a long line and you REALLY want a biscuit go sit in Noble Park and door dash you some biscuit love.
Satya Vangala
Very cool and chill place for an amazing Brunch. They have an effective and quick system in place from waiting to ordering, service! Buttermilk Biscuit is very soft and flaky. Good vegetarian options also available for both breakfast and lunch. Totally worth the wait.
Justin Nguyen (JNguyen20)
Biscuit Love is great! Obviously this place is a tourist trap and as a tourist, consider me trapped!! Everything was fantastic from the cinnamon roll, to the oatmeal, and obviously the biscuits and gravy. I’d recommend this to anyone willing to wait in line.
Sadie C
Octavia!! Octavia is the manager we were so blessed to meet and work with. She is so generous, so joyful, positive, and deserves a raise/promotion! This business location is better because she is working in it! Wonderful food, wonderful place, wonderful team! So generous and welcoming! Would totally go again!
Nightshade452
We got the East Nasty. Overall, it was good. But the crust on the chicken got soggy very quickly. I'm not sure if it was from the gravy or if it just was immediately set down after getting fried. We were able to peel the soggy part off and enjoy the meal. The line moves fast, but there was never not a line.
Callie Camp
We waiting in the pouring down rain just to eat here, so our expectations were pretty high. Let me just say that it was 100% worth it! The service was extremely fast and the food was phenomenal!
Becky Onifer
I LOVED biscuit love
We visited at 9 am on a Friday. Had to wait about 20 minutes in line. It was cold out so they brought out free tea (more like apple cider) to drink while we waited.
Once inside, your entire group orders at the counter before being seated, then the food is brought to your table. The food was ready quickly.
This was the flakiest butter-iest biscuit that I've had. And the bonuts (biscuit donuts) were amazing. I even liked the grits, which I don't usually enjoy other places.
My only complaint is that I don't live closer! Can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Nashville
Cecily Williams
Worth the wait! Delicious food and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Octavia for her bright, energetic attitude! She made the atmosphere feel relaxed even during the morning rush.
Mark M
Loved the spicy chicken and biscuit. Great service. Worth the wait in line for sure
Marc Bradley
Biscuit Love was highlighted as one of the top restaurants to visit in Nashville. I was excited to try the biscuits and sausage gravy, but have to admit that I was completely unimpressed. The biscuit was average and the gravy lacked flavor. The cheese grits were an expected surprise and tasted great hence the 3 stars.
Tian Lily Ding
I went to this lovely place on a whim while traveling for work in Nashville in November '22. It is awesome! They have delicious veggies, gravy, eggs, and cheese grits and their GA peach rooibos tea is honestly the best tea I've EVER had, and I'm not usually a rooibos tea drinker! The staff are also super friendly and helpful. They have a cute merchandise section as well.
Please be mindful that this place closes earlier than tourists probably expect, at 3 PM and make sure you get there early!
Brandon Speth
We love BL and have always enjoyed stopping in when we’re in town. The food is always fresh and delicious. It’s a must try it you haven’t been. You might have to wait in line so get there early or mid morning as they tend to be a little slower and the wait is not as bad.
Luba Kogan
First time in Nashville and this was definitely worth the wait! They is to get here EARLY to avoid an insanely long line. You order at the counter, grab a number, find a table and food will be delivered to you.
What we had: Bonuts in blueberry compote (beignet meets donut = yuuum), biscuit and sausage gravy, East Nasty but Spicy (I think this was called a Nasty Princess but not 100%), and 2 Muletown coffee lattes. That Nashville heat is no lie and did not disappoint.
Everything was fairly heavy but sooo delicious. The area this restaurant is in is super cute so easy to walk it off ;)
The only opportunity I saw for this place is to space out the tables more, during this pandemic.
Olive
My girlfriends from out of town and I needed to meet up for brunch. We heard about the popularity of this place and decided to go since they were operating via CDC guidelines: masks and 6 ft apart though no really stood 6 ft apart outside and it was packed as usual (everyone had masks on). I ordered the new item Lily and Chai tea which taste amazing. Their Chai tea were really good compared to the other coffee shops in town. The girls really enjoyed their meal too. I am a vegetarian so I cannot be the judge of Nashville Chicken and Biscuits or Egg Breakfast the girls had.
Rotem Adar Schwartz
Best biscuit I've ever had! Cappuccino was also beyond amazing.
Derek Curtis
The food was good. We had the bonuts, the East Nasty, Egg plate and Bananas Foster Lily. As good as the food was, I don't think it was worth standing an hour in the rain and another 30 minutes in the store just to order. Next time, I will place an online order and pick it up.
Daniel G
Very good food and service. My favorites were the East Nasty, the Bonuts and the cheese grits. The lines will be long but you have to try it at least once. They really need to come up with a better system. Maybe they can text or call you when the table is ready?
PS. Park in the building across the restaurant free for 1 hour, then 5 bucks
Ashley D.
Not a great place for brunch drinks. You order then sit. What if you want another drink? They definitely don't want you staying long. Biscuits were great, everything else was just ok.
Basel Safi
This was our first breakfast in Nashville. And it was a great start. After looking up places to have breakfast and recommendations from friends, everything was delicious. Starting with the biscuit and chicken that was flavorful with a sauce that has a nice kick to it. to the veggie bowl with grits and egg that has few ingredients that were geniusly put together, the creaminess of the grits with the silkiness of the over easy eggs in contrast with the roasted sunflower seeds in addition to the veggies is simply genius. and finally with the French toast biscuit which was something else. It had the crunch in the outside in contrast with the softness of the inside. The sauce they give with it. Just elevated it to a different level. And what was the cherry on top is the coffee. This is a place that I would go back to whenever I am passing by Nashville in the future.
Rachel Tuite
We had a great time. It was difficult to get to but once we got there it was really good! The staff is super sweet and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend
rashmi nimbalkar
OMG! Love love love this place. I could drive from Atlanta to Nashville just to eat the bonuts! They are that good!!!! Also ordered East Nasty & Princess now I know why they are so popular. Next time I am around Nashville I know where I am going for brunch.
Service - 10/10
Ambiance - 10/10
Food - 100/10
Kaleigh McCauley
Food is worth the wait! We waited maybe 30 minutes in line but it felt like less.
Their menu is brunch heaven. The gravy is the best I have ever tasted - and I am from South Texas!! You MUST get the bonuts!!
We visited in October, so there were fall items on the menu. We got regular and pumpkin bonuts. I got The Lily. Two friends East Nasty, and one got The Southern Benny.
I love that they had a dairy-free option for their coffee also! Highly recommend the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Latte!
g gerl
Must visit biscuit spot. So many layers and flakey just like all my exes. Great biscuits and gravy, one person in our crew got the Nashville hot chicken n biscuit day before we got in and again the next day with us he thought was that good
Rochelle Radawiec
Went here with my family for a late brunch on Sunday. The line was pretty long, but there were umbrellas for shade and the process was smooth. Tried the biscuit doughnuts, the Lily (seasonal fruit was peaches), and the egg plate. The smoked sausage looked strange but tasted amazing! We also tried the caramel iced coffee. Everything was fantastic! We would recommend coming back.
Matt Dunsmoor
Just, wow! This was worth the wait.
I got here at about 10:45 on a Tuesday morning and the line was out the door by about 8 people. So, after sweating it out I was definitely thinking, “This had better be worth it.” The good news: It was—and then some.
I ordered the East Nasty (a jumbo fried chicken thigh topped with cheddar and sausage gravy over a freshly made biscuit. I added an egg because…well, I’m gluttonous 🤷♂️), and every piece of it was flawless. The biscuit was fluffy and soft, but crisped on the bottom so that it didn’t fall apart as you ate it. I highly recommend this item, and if you can’t remember the name, it’s the first one on the menu 😊
I also ordered the Bonuts, which were 5 little fried balls of biscuit dough lightly coated in sugar, individually topped with a lemon mascarpone on a bed of a blueberry compote. These were perfect, too. I expected them to be too heavy (especially after such a heavy sandwich), but they were light and fluffy, and not too sweet to enjoy.
I finished off the order with a Pumpkin Spice Latte with Oatmilk, since I wasn’t sure how good their coffee was, and it’s fall, after all. This was also fantastic! It might be too sweet for those who prefer their espresso drinks more on the bitter side, but for me this morning it was just right.
I absolutely recommend this place. If you come and there’s a big queue, don’t get discouraged by the line outside! It moves faster than you’d think, as the ordering/seating process is uniquely efficient. And it’s just as good for big groups (I saw at least 3 groups of 6 or more) as it is for solo diners like I was (there is a bar counter you can sit at). I’ll definitely be back.
Irene Orr
Absolute favorite place for breakfast in Nashville! Ordered BONUTS - amazing creation based on biscuit and donuts! One item you absolutely must try! Every ingredient on the plate was perfect. The eggs, the bacon and the biscuit, of course.
Service was impeccable and quick!
The staff keep it clean and in order. You can download the menu while waiting. They doing their best to keep up with all pandemic rules and regulations. I felt very safe there!
Great job! I am in love with Biscuit Love now!
LaRie Lindsey
The wait wasn’t too bad. They offered some yummy tea/cider to those standing out in the cold. The food was great. Service was decent. I didn’t like the pricing. We spent $80 on two meals with drinks and tip. I also didn’t care for paying and tipping ahead of service. If you get terrible or unsatisfactory service it won’t matter because they will have already received their tip.
Megan Polis
Weekday lunch was a breeze! Biscuit Love is one of my go to places in Nashville when I’m in town and decided to try going for lunch on a weekday. There was next to no line, we were able to order right away and were seated immediately. For the times we’re in I felt safe and the restaurant is doing all they can to stay open as well as take care of their customers.
Also tried dishes I hadn’t had and lovedddd them!! They ask customers to wear mask until you’re seated and I’m grateful for how they are managing everything.
Justin Macmahan
A friend of mine told me I had to try Biscuit Love when I went to Nashville so I entered with high expectations. I ordered their classic chicken biscuit sandwich with an egg and sausage gravy. It did not disappoint. One of the best chicken biscuit sandwiches I’ve ever had. Nice ambiance as well. There’s always a line but it doesn’t take long. They move quickly and the food was ready shortly after we ordered
Deborah Williams
One of Nashville's best - huge biscuits and wonderful sausage gravy (LOTS of sausage in that gravy; almost a meal by itself). Incredibly friendly and helpful waitstaff. Clean, comfortable indoor dining with social distancing and proper cleaning protocols; I felt completely at ease eating inside doing the craziness of 2020. Go early to avoid the crowd.
William Tracy
A little higher than I normaly give for B&G but after tasting I can understand and well worth it.. Buttermilk flaky biscuits only topped by home cooked and would even give Dad a run for his money.. plus incredible coffee and good conversation with pleasent staff..
Allison Giddens
Delicious breakfast, without a doubt! Second time visiting as out of towners. My breakfast wasn't hot, but I didn't send it back since the staff seemed super strained.
Staffing seemed super-strained at 7:30am, with the cashier disappearing for 15 minutes, leaving the line out the door to get longer and longer. I would suggest management communicate to guests waiting what's going on, since we all just kind of guessed it was staffing challenges. Not knowing caused some people behind us to get irritated.
Michael Hendon
Not really sure why everyone says it’s number 1. The food is just okay. Kind of thrown on the plate with no real finesse and nothing was hot when it was served. The price was really high for what we got too. On the other hand, the workers and service was great. Everyone was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu.
Colin Tomblin
Biscuit Love is the perfect brunch spot! Not only is the food amazing but so are the drinks! Definitely make sure you have the chronic bacon & a Bloody Mary! There’s usually a line outside but it moves fairly quickly. You order at the counter inside the door and they bring the food to your table. Also they accept ApplePay for a fast contactless payment option!
Chris
We braved the cold this morning to try this place out. Luckily the line wasn't too crazy since we got there early(the line was wrapped around the corner of the block when we left, this place is popular!).
My wife and I had 2 different experiences here. I had a better time than she did. My experience was more of a 4 star rating and hers a 2 star, so I settled with the average of 3 stars.
My wifes eggs were ordered hard but she still had runny yoke and the cheesy potatoes she order were cold. I did try her cheesy potatoes and I did not like them. I think they have yogurt or maybe sour cream mixed with them?
I got the East Nasty with a side of Chronic Bacon and a latte. My food was really good and I have no complaints!
Overall, I am glad we tried it, but we may not ever come back. Worth a shot if you are walking by and there is no line, but I would try something else if the line stretches out the door.
Bel A
Definitely the best biscuit I ever had in my life! Grits and cheese were also delicious! I would return any day or time but would not make the long line! Luckily we were there at 8am right before the line made a zig zag!
john torre
The waiting is justified.
General manager, I think her name is Megan, was super accommodating and made our visit there hassle-free after a mix up with our order that was totally my bad.
Servers at the bar were equally as nice and efficient. And let's not forget the food! Will definitely be back.
Lisa Koonce
YUM YUM YUM. Literally everyone who gave us Nashville food recommendations told us about Biscuit Love so we just had to try it out for ourselves. Everyone also told us that there would definitely be a line so we were expecting to wait. We waited for about 45min and it wasn’t that bad because they provided umbrellas for shade and unlimited water. Once we got inside, the process itself was as smooth as possible and moved VERY quickly/efficiently. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the princess chicken sandwich, biscuit French toast and the hummingbird family reserve. I don’t think you can go wrong here with anything you order.
Erica Givens
I just love Biscuit Love! A must do breakfast dinning experience when in Nashville. Octavia was a delight, was comical and delivered excellent customer service!
Gaurav Hegde
Long line at this place . So make sure u visit this after 1 pm if you dont want to wait in long queues.
The biscuits were fresh and straight out of the grill . We tried the princess which was solid and comes with the pickles and also the egg with biscuit which comes with grits, jams and sausages. Do not forget to get the BONUTS! Its out of this world!!
Got the chai tea latte which wasnt hot enough for us . They replaced it for us with another hot cup. Extra points for that.
The reason i am not giving a 5 star is because the hostess was a lil salty with me and my friends . Not sure if she was having a bad day or didnt like our faces. 😞
But overall , this place is great if you like your biscuits and right next to all the great murals.
Bryce Paquette
I got the hidden menu item "Nasty Princess", which is the East Nash with Nashville Hot Chicken. The biscuits and sausage gravy were great and the fried chicken was perfectly crispy.
But, if you're hoping for some heat, the Hot chicken has none, not much flavor compared to Hattie B's.
I'd stay away from the Hot chicken. Didn't get to try to bonuts :/
Dane Brehm
Great way to avoid the morning rush....order takeout. That's what we did. Walked right in after ordering online. Had a nice breakfast on a nearby park table. Enjoyed the SEC with Sausage, the wife had the SEC with the Chronic bacon that even Dr. Dre would approve. Covid safe as they can be. Enjoy them bizcuits.
Stef P
I thought I would try this place out even though I’m not big on biscuits. Apparently, this location is popular and it is known to have a wait, which is true since there was a line when we got there. The place is small and could definitely use more space and seating, but the girl at the door was nice. The service was friendly and the food was fine, but I’m still not big on biscuits. The biscuits are very delicate and they fall apart and crumble when you eat. They did not win me over. I ordered the princess and I was expecting hot Nashville chicken, but the spice did not deliver. I would not even call it hot. However, the chicken was moist and the size was fairly big. The Gertie was a good dessert though and the kale salad has a nice dressing.

There wass a long line outside so we thought it would take forever. It did not they take your order once you get in and then 2 minutes after you sit your food is there.
Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Really hit the spot.
Brian Schwabino
Great food, good service, definitely be back
Silvia VanHuijsen
I love the biscuit sandwich !! 😍 Friends from Florida told me to try "Biscuit love". Yes we drove from Ft Lauderdale, Florida and we were looking for a delicious place to eat. I ordered the SEC but all the biscuits look delicious! The cold iced tea is refreshing too. I ordered unsweetened tea to cut down my sugar intake and it still tastes good. The bacon taste like candy. I think its called the chronic bacon. The jam taste amazing and I normally don't like jam. I am definitely coming back here.
Matthew
Oatmeal was OK and the bacon was really good but... Disappointed that I had to ask about the granola my oatmeal was supposed to come with and the response was basically "oh I think we're out," and nothing else. Oatmeal needed more cherry compote. I would go back, but the customer service was weak.

Whenever I'm visiting home I make it a point to come here. Out of the 3 locations, this is by far my favorite one. Just make sure you arrive early with your everyone party, there can be a bit of a wait.
My go to is normally the fried chicken thigh & biscuit or the French omelette & arugula salad... And a side of cheese grits. Do not have here without trying the cheese grits, you won't be disappointed. Only thing this place is missing is a bottomless mimosa option, but you can make up for that by buying single mimosas.
Service is normally quick and efficient. Stop in and enjoy!
Katie Dill
We waited about 30 minutes to get in and was expecting phenomenal food due to the hype and wait...a teeny tiny orange juice was $5 and the food was fairly expensive. You order at a register and food is brought out to your table. ...a tip is requested but beyond bringing your food out you get 0 service. The food was good but not the mindblowing experience I was anticipating. The food was also on the cool side once brought out....it was okay but wouldn't wait in line 30 minutes to eat there again.
Andrew and Haley!
Very popular restaurant. Took over an hour and 20 min to even get inside. Very cool place and really good food. Biscuits are absolutely delicious. (Probably the best thing they sell) They are on a bit of the pricey side, but it was definitely worth the wait. Give them a shot if your visiting!
Denise Burnham
From waiting in line, to ordering our food (ya'll 50% military discount ), and receiving our food...this was hands down one of the best food and dining experiences I've ever had! It's even better with friends! All of the staff was very courteous and very attentive. The food came out fast, was fresh, and made exactly to order! You will not be disappointed! Come early and still expect a line. I'm so glad this is how we decided to start our Saturday morning on Nashville. I will be back with my boyfriend and family! Look at the pictures...its even better in person. Come for the experience, enjoy the food and everyone's company and take lots if pictures!
Carley Peditto
RUN here & go order the “princess” - you won’t be disappointed! My friends & I are from NJ & were in TN for a weekend trip, so I was excited to order some Nashville chicken and omg, this place was everything I expected & more! Soooo good!
Susan Sauls
My college age son introduced us to Biscuit Love as we were traveling through Nashville. He had wanted to come here before, but didn't have time for the long line. We made a plan to come earlier and on a weekday, which made a difference. We still waited in line for a while, but by the time we made our decisions on what we wanted to order, we had made it to the register to place our order. Our food came quickly, was unique, and everyone enjoyed their food. The only thing I would say that made me a little disappointed was that since this restaurant is based on "biscuits," given the name and there is a variety of different dishes with a biscuit included, I expected the biscuit itself to be outstanding. It was more of a cakey texture instead of flaky, as I would expect a biscuit to be. That being said, the biscuits are still great, especially if you don't have the expectation of a flaky biscuit. I just had to change my expectation to cake-like biscuits instead and enjoy the meal. It was a fabulous experience.
Brandon Kendall
This place was great! Totally worth the 40-ish minutes we waited in line on a Thursday around 11:30 during spring break. She had the biscuit and gravy, while I had the egg plate. The chronic bacon is probably the best bacon I've ever eaten. Everything was delicious and we'd go back in a heartbeat.
Garrett Tershel
At my age I rarely wait in line for places but with one was worth it. Food was fantastic! Coffee was great! Line turned over quickly.
Sarah Henry
The biscuits here are the layered kind, not the big fluffy biscuits that I love. Overall the food was good, but not so amazing to justify the hour wait in line to get in.
Les Ault
I always visit here when I am in town. The bronuts are amazing and I always get an order of the East Nasty. You deserve to visit a local biscuit love location.
Allison Morrow
Don’t be put off by the line that goes out the door. We only waited about 10 minutes in line to place our order. I got the French omelette and my husband got the banana foster with a side of sausage and biscuit. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The sautéed mushrooms melted in my mouth and the sauce in the omelette was smooth and satisfying. I also ordered a Bloody Mary that had the perfect amount of flavor. We want to go back again to do a different dish during our stay in Nashville. Highly recommend.
Chantelle Wallace
There was a long line to get in here on a Tuesday at 10:30am, but it was worth it - the biscuits live up to the hype. They told us outdoor seating is exclusively for customers with canines, so if sitting outside is important to you, bring your dog.
Herbert Edgewood
'Ello chaps!
Biscuit Love has gained a bit of a following among Nashvill(ians?) and tourists alike, thanks to some plugs on various food networks.
With biscuits in the name, you'd hope a spot would be able to deliver.
Boy, do they ever. This is not some easy slingy thing to say, but Biscuit Love makes me fall in love with biscuits again. They are just crisp enough, just moist enough, just soft enough, just loveable enough. There is an airy flakiness to the biscuits. They are literally the best biscuits I've had - at least in some time. Their recipe and processing def stands out.
The rest of the food is decent too.
Overall, food is good, and they're taking advantage of the demand as prices are on the higher end.
Overall I def give Biscuit Love five stars out of five, and you'll see from other reviews I don't give five stars often

Biscuit Love is a great place to stop. Don’t let the line scare you - even wrapped around it was only about a 30-min. wait. They’ll hand you a menu so you’re ready to order at the register once you get inside. You’ll be seated with a number and your food will arrive as you have a short wait. The bonuts are a great sweet way to start. A perfect combination of flavors. I had the kids pb&j and cheesy grits and my husband had the East Nasty. Both were great! Highly recommend!
Paul Andrusiak
Absolutely delicious. We went early in the day and good thing we did as the lineups went outside the restaurant for the rest of the day. I tried their classic biscuit and gravy. My wife got their hot chicken (with pickles on it). It was all so good. They also have great branding. Makes you want to buy a sticker, T-shirt or mug when you’re there. Great spot.
Ashley Knight
Expect to wait in line... we arrived around 10:30 on Saturday and waited 45 minutes. Bring warm clothes. Several people had a spouse or friend run to the nearest Starbucks (in walking distance) while they waited, although a black coffee and water station is outside for patrons waiting to enter. There’s a door attendant who politely hands out a menu so you can decide what you want to eat- and once you get in the door you order and they give you a table to sit at (or the bar) with an order number. Wait staff delivers your food and the bar makes your drinks (coffee or alcohol options as well as tea and soft drinks) but the water stations are self-serve. Bathroom is small and has two stalls.
We enjoyed a custom plate - savory biscuit, gravy, over easy egg, and grits... and blueberry French toast made from a biscuit. The latte and Bloody Mary were both delicious!
Sammi
I stopped here with my friend while visiting Nashville and we decided to stay in line after hearing the great reviews. No matter the time or day of the week there will be a line to get in. It took us about 55 minutes to get through and finally we placed our order and sat. Everyone was extremely friendly, the interior was cute, and service was quick. However I'm only giving it three stars due to the food. It was a pretty standard breakfast area with biscuits and gravy, however nothing outside of the ordinary that I'd wait an hour for. It was good, don't get me wrong, just a little over hyped.
Ron Dorsey
I'm so glad this place isn't in my state or I would be here every day!
Christopher Turner
Excellent breakfast spot. I'm not big on breakfast but this place is a must if you are in the area. I had the east nasty which was amazing. My wife had the b-roll which was also very tasty.
Luke Cotton
This spot deserves a try at least once while you're in the Nashville area. The line gets crazy long so make sure to get there early or prepare to wait. They have a nice array of gifts and other goodies while waiting in line to order. The bonuts are worth ordering - super yummy! They have quality cheese grits and pretty good biscuits. The biscuits are more flakey rather than fluffy i would say
Dan Miranda
This place is good, but overrated. The food is good, but not the best biscuits or breakfast I've had. Not worth the long line, but worth a short wait.
Billy Hau
Went here on a Friday morning and it was packed! About 30-40 people in line but we were seated in about 15 minutes. The biscuit was delicious but I have to say the fried chicken was the star of the show 👍. It was super moist, tender and flavourful, along with the gravy. Definitely would come back just for this sandwich alone!
The place is very clean, well lit and servers were very nice (except for the poor attitude from the cashier)

Biscuit Love is on the “must visit” list of many visitors to Nashville. The line is ever present but moves pretty quickly. The coffee is great, and treat yourself to a Bonut starter. Yes, that is what they are called. A cross between a biscuit and a donut with a mascarpone cheese topping and blueberry topping. Yum! Next up try the Benny, a biscuit with ham and eggs topped with sausage gravy. Or the amazing East Nasty which is a big piece of fried chicken on a biscuit covered with cheddar cheese and gravy. Now you know why there’s a line! If you want something healthier, they do have a deconstructed omelet which is respectable. Go early to beat the crowds or just plan to wait in line.
Dino Kilani
Short wait in the line outside. Food was delicious. We had the chicken biscuit on the secret menu, added bacon and over easy egg. The result was heavenly. The biscuit is not like what you're used to. It was delicate and fluffy. Must try.
chestin salisbury
Definitely lived up to the hype! The East Nasty (fried chicken on a biscuit with cheese and sausage gravy) was exactly what the doctor ordered and the Lily (French toast biscuit with cinnamon apples) was totally delish.
We'll absolutely be back time we're near a Biscuit Love!
Aurora Pullar
Breading on the chicken is amazing! Bonuts are great. Lindstrom (Brussels sprouts & eggs) was a nice unique dish. I also enjoyed my latte.
Had to wait 25 minutes in the cold but it was worth it. The line wrapped around the sidewalk outside but moved fast. The value was good.
Victoria Ivanov
30 min line.. but worth it!! Yummy biscuits and gravy! Highly recommend the B-roll.
Fresh squeezed Orange juice!
moosefps
Everything on the menue looks amazing. Personally tried the Bonuts and they were awesome! The big nasty was awesome! Overall one of the best breakfast places I have ever eaten at. It was crowded but everything from ordering to getting your food was very fast.
Anthony Ballard
My wife and I stopped in here the day before we left Nashville after a week stay. The only thing that upset us was we didn't find this place earlier.
We really enjoyed it. Service was good. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere. Seemed to be taking the COVID-19 precautions seriously.
We'll be back next time we are in town.
Highly recommend.
Renee von Behren
An awesome breakfast. Arrived early and were able to sit in the courtyard. Very pleasant. Lots of nice touches: homemade jam and coffee in pottery mugs. The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the two egg breakfast. I’m not a grits person but the ones they served were excellent!
stephanie seay
I absolutely adore biscuit love! The princess is my all time favorite and I always get a fruit tee and bonuts too! The prices are very reasonable and the service is top notch. The location is also easy to get in and out of and there is tons of nearby parking. On the weekend if you go early there is no wait and you can park for free on the street! They also have a location in Franklin in an old house which is very cute as well.
anam alvi
Biscuits are not amazing, but the Bonuts definitely make up for it! They're a MUST HAVE! The hot chicken is huge and delicious, but the eggs are not made well. The line to wait was really long (about 45 minutes) when we went on a Thursday for brunch, but there's lots of sitting room inside once you get there!
CarLos Phillips
Besides the 30 minute wait outside, this place has excellent customer service, and food. The atmosphere it's nice and comfortable. The menu is nice and diverse, and fresh. I tried the East Nasty, a country friend chicken and buiscut dish 👌🏽.
EVERYTHING seems very fresh...the orange juice, the tea, the food, the air 👍🏽👍🏽
Overall, I don't have any complaints about this place. I recommend this place to anyone.
Common Man Eats
We waited over an hour to get fried chicken and biscuits here. In my honest opinion I think the food here is average and not worth waiting that long. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, it just didn’t blow my mind.
Debbie Simler-Goff
Waited outside, but the despite the long line, we waited only about 20 minutes. We had heard about this place and were super excited to get to finally try it!
My husband had the Hot Chicken and I had the Biscuits and Gravy. Both were good but not... great.
The staff was wonderful and so was the ambiance. And I still think it’s worth waiting in the line etc, I just expected the food to be over the top delicious, and to us at least it wasn’t.
Shieva E.
Yes! Nashville never lets us down 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️😉
Rebecca Freyenberger
Fun little brunch spot. Fast and friendly service and the food was amazing. I ordered the SEC sandwich, the biscuit was soooo good, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, and stayed together nicely. The group I was with also ordered the “Bonuts” witch were melt in my mouth worthy. Great experience overall!
Cornelius Coachman (indiscretion)
This was my last stop before going back to Atlanta and it didn't disappoint. The wait time can be a bit much but once you're inside, it doesn't take long to get your food. I got lucky by skipping the line and sitting at the bar.
My favorite dish was the Bonuts which is basically fried dough covered in sugar with some creme cheese frosting and berries. I also got the Princess which is their hot chicken thigh biscuit with honey. Be warned though. These sandwiches are pretty big. I'm glad I didn't get any sides because I wouldn't have finished them.
Jacob Pawelczyk
Wow this place was amazing, now I see why they have 45min lines out the door on the weekends. I had the East Nasty and a side of the grilled mushrooms. Absolutely fantastic. The chicken was fried to perfection and was so moist and tender. This was a lot of food too, the pictures don’t do the portion sizes justice. These will fill you up!
Tanner Shaw
Highly recommend Biscuit Love, everything we ate was so good and honestly worth the wait! Probably the longest we’ve ever waited for breakfast at 1.5 hours, but I was so glad we stayed! This experience didn’t quite earn 5 stars from us though, because I could think of a few things that would have put it over the top. At one point the staff came out and told us we could get coffee at the Starbucks across the street. Seriously. It would have gone a long way to have small cups of coffee brought out to the people waiting outside in the cold rain. And then when we finally got inside and got our Chai lattes, they were cold (but very tasty). It was also kind of frustrating to see so many tables being reserved for social distancing, but completely unnecessarily. Overall, the food was wonderful enough to overcome these small things, and we’ll definitely make a point to come back!
Brooks T. Thompson
Everything that I imagined a southern breakfast to be. The chicken and biscuit sandwich (called the ”easy nasty”) was amazing. The “bonuts” are really good too, and you might as well order some since you’re already eating fried chicken for breakfast.
It’s no surprise that this place is very popular especially on weekends. I recommend that you get there shortly after they open at 7:00 a.m. because it gets very busy throughout the morning.
Aneesh D
Awesome food, great service. The wait was totally worth it.
The princess was really good....
Jory Allen
Great little spot. Be prepared to wait. The bonuts are outrageously good. The biscuits are ok, they’re not flaky or crumbly, they’re more the consistency of a cake. I prefer a layered or a drop biscuit. They serve fresh-squeezed orange juice, which is a refreshing and perfect. Worth the wait if you order well.
Danielle Mueller
Worth the wait! The line was long when we got there at 10:30 on a Sunday morning but we waited less than 45 minutes. We had the East Nasty (fried chicken biscuit and sausage gravy), Chronic Bacon and Lily (biscuit French toast). They were all delicious. The Lily was 3 half biscuits with blueberry compote and cream, so good!
Tyler Austin
My friend's brother recommended that we eat at biscuit love. You'll often find a long line outside, but it moves quickly and the food is worth it. However, you are going to need a nap after you eat here because the food is *heavy*. We had the Bonuts and also their famous East Nasty sandwich. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy. I'd come back here again but maybe only once every few months as it's incredibly filling.
Caleb Watson
I don't know what all to say, but delicious. From the spice of my hot chicken to the sweetness of my cream cheese covered pastry it's just so good. Now you'll most definitely have to wait because it is very popular. And you'll want to be ready to Shell out some real money because it also isn't cheap. But as a once and a while treat it's really really good.
Chris Hiser
Get in line, don't worry it'll be worth it. The customer service is nothing less than good ol southern hospitality. They have staff handing out water and menus to those in line and helping to ensure things keep moving. If it weren't in a fancy building in an eclectic area one would think they just sat down at Grandma's table. Who am I kidding granny didn't put this good of grub on the table. I was afraid I was going to get some hipster twist on a simple country breakfast, in a way I did but with a southern flare that ensures every trip to Nashville will include a visit to biscuit love.
Brittany Hall
It was all good!! Get the Bonuts. Wow!!
The Benny with scrambled eggs was delicious as well as the bites I stole from the Lily. The cheese grits were also great!
Sara Jacobs
Long line out front but moved forward very quickly. Ordered Bronuts for our table of 5. Delicious! Meshed the East Nasty with the Princess and ordered the Nasty Princess, hot chicken and gravy on a huge biscuit. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff.
Jane Song
GET THE BONUTS!! So good!!! It’s a cross between donuts and biscuits but the lemon mascarpone and the blueberry compote that comes with it is so good!
The main, I got hot chicken. It was ok. I think their best item is their bonuts.
Their bacon was good but not amazing. It is worth a try!
I would totally go back for bonuts!!!! The line is kind of long but it goes kind of fast...
Kaleigh Shipman
I waited in line well over 2 hours because I had heard of the Biscuit Love hype. The food was pretty good but definitely not worth that long of a wait. The biscuits themselves are delicious (and the fresh orange juice was a nice touch!)--but the entire meal was nothing special in comparison to other breakfast places in the area. I would probably give it another try if there weren't a long wait.
ek gjothesen
Was a small line around 8:30am but it moved quickly. While reading the menu I see "rated best sandwich in America". The East Nasty did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly fried and make for a good breakfast base for exploring the city. Tried a side of their sausages as well and they were smokey, earthy and good. Will return again the next time I am in town.
Andrew Lo
Let me put a foreword, the interior, service, grits and drinks are all good , BUT the biscuits are not that great despite being a place called biscuit love. They look like they're cut from a sheet cake and tasted bland. The chicken was mostly all batter and not so much chicken and the bacon slices despite being called thick were underwhelming but good balance of spicy and sweet. You would also imagine a place called biscuit love, they would offer more varities of biscuits like cheese... Would not pay the price i did on the food again nor suggest waiting more than 10 minutes. The hype for this place is just too much for an okay spot
A Kim
Pro tip: come here late in the day before closing. We came here at lunch time and the line was ridiculous - it moves fast but it still took an hour to wait. By the time we were finished eating, there was hardly a line. Seriously, save yourself the time and come at 2 PM. The food was good, chicken was nice and crispy. Order the side of jam.
eddie robinson
Loved it. We are from Memphis Tn. Food came fast, very fast actually. Hot & very refreshing. Good coffee & great service.
Mike M
Don’t fear the line and make sure to get the Bonuts. Huge portions, delicious coffee, outstanding service with a smile.
Incredibly hip spot in the gulch area, just a block from the infamous wings mural.
We got the hot chicken biscuit, sausage and gravy biscuit, and the bonuts (donuts made biscuit dough, covered in cinnamon sugar, served over a blueberry compote, and topped with fresh marscapone) all of which were a flavour explosion.
Wish I had gone back at least one more time while I was in Nashville.
Lauren Nicholas
Came here for a breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We didn’t have a line at all! There’s free parking across the street if you’ll be there under an hour.
We both ordered the East Nasty after hearing that’s the thing to get. I also got an iced coffee and an order of grits.
The East Nasty doesn’t disappoint. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy. A little too big and rich for me so I couldn’t finish it. The biscuit was on the cakier side. Depending on your preference in biscuit style, they might be a bit dry for you. If you’re a grits person, don’t pass these up. They were delicious. I wish I had more!
Iced coffee was also great. All around a great breakfast.
Joss Slagle
Delicious food! The staff was pretty nice. The bathrooms seem half updated. They don’t have a lot of seating because of Covid so the lines get backed up.
Lang Nguyen
Expect to wait at least an hour unless you're that lucky S.O.B. that starts the line. We waited 2 hours before being seated, but I do have to say it was worth it! I don't think I'll wait that long again, but I will most likely do takeout since the wait is a hell of a lot shorter.
Leonard Marshall
Hands down ABSOLUTELY BEST BREAKFAST IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE! Portion sizes are crazy big, the food is slap yourself good, and the biscuits will have you in a complete food coma. Dont be discouraged by the wait times or lines because the line moves fairly quickly. I recommend the chicken and biscuit. Most succulent tender chicken I've had. And their blueberry biscuit pancakes!
Chelsea Weiss
Biscuit Love is a popular little spot (at least in "The Gulch" location where I went). And I can understand why. The food was delicious and obviously made with special care. The buscuits were light and buttery, the cheese grits smooth and creamy, and the "chronic bacon" smothered and cooked in brown sugar and lightly sprinkled with red pepper added a little spice to an already amazing breakfast spread! And the bonuts (donuts made from biscuit dough) were the perfect blend of sugary fried donut flavor on the outside with flaky, buttery biscuit flavor on the inside. If you don't mind standing in line (I waited about 45 minutes) and sitting in tight quarters with other patrons, Biscuit Love is definitely worth the wait!
ch3m1st
This place is amazing!!! The lose of a star is because of the wait, although the line moves fast, it is still often a 30 minute wait or more!
Outdoor seating area is pretty cool and they have propane heaters to improve comfort levels on chilly mornings!
Eric Reeves
The place was cool. Would try again, but no rush to get back. The wait is typically long. Sometimes up to 3 hours we was told. The guy even mention it was worth it. After my visit. I can still say no place is worth that wait. Even my mom's cooking is not worth 3 hours in the cold. Was disappointed in the tiny breakfast chops I received. Based on price. Because of Man vs Food filming the wait was even longer since they took up a very large section. I did like the jam and taste of the chops.
Jacqueline T
It was good, it doesn’t deserve the hype it’s been receiving.
I ordered the Princess. It’s supposed to be spicy, but was weaker than Franky’s Red Hot (it didn’t even have a “kick”). The line wasn’t super long and I was in and seated in less than 20 minutes. The biscuit was good, it wasn’t super sweet, wasn’t flaky, and had a nice consistently (the reason for three stars and not two).
Would I go again? —sure, as long as I didn’t have to wait long (15 minutes max).
Don Frasco
The best breakfast place in Nashville. This place brings a new twist to Old taste. Come in early and get ready to fall in line. Must try their Bonots.
Ernesto
I walked past this Eatery several times during my trip to Nashville, and there was always a line to get it. Finally on the last day of the trip
I witnessed no lines. Of course it was on a Monday and around 7:30 am.
And I now know why. DELICIOUS! Their up front handling of the order takening, bill paying and gratuity is genius. They give you a number and a table stand. Now you set anywhere you like. Extremely fast system with friendly service. When I sat down the food came shortly after. To no surprise, as I was leaving I saw the line building again. I guess you have to get there before 7:30 am. And maybe on a Monday .😊Worth the wait.
Rich M
Popular place with tasty food, but be prepared to wait in line during peak times. Fast Casual Dining. The Nill Neal (Shrimp and Grits), Bonuts, and Hummingbird Family Reserve were all tasty!
Dino M
Great place to sample southern cuisine and the best sandwich in the country! For breakfast try to get there before 8:30 if you want to avoid the queue. Service is very fast and efficient. Toilets are clean 🧽. …
Victor Wang
Absolutely delicious food and very efficient ordering process. While the line might seem to be extremely long, it only took about 45 minutes at peak brunch time. Like that they're counter serve and you order ahead of time before sitting down. The bonuts are fantastic and taste quite unique but not overly sweet and very well balanced. The shrimp and grits were extremely rich as you would expect this Southern classic. Overall I highly recommend this place for brunch.
Lina Bassett
This restaurant often has a long line of ppl outside of their front door, but they run very efficiently and so wait times are generally reasonable. Get the bonuts. The biscuits are sweet, not sure I prefer sweet biscuits, but their food is good.
Tiffany W
So good! There was a wait wrapped around the building when we got there (don’t worry they keep umbrellas in case of rain). The restaurant inside is too small to hold people in so that’s the whole line outside.
Finding a seat can be difficult but that’s to be expected. I got the Princess Biscuit (Nashville hot chicken, mustard and pickles on a made-from-scratch biscuit) and it was absolutely amazing.
Delicious sweet tea as well.
Bloody Mary was very spicy and flavorful.
We almost left due to the wait (we are not from Nashville and it was JUNE in the SOUTH while we waited OUTSIDE) but we’re glad we didn’t! I’d definitely go back!
Shawn Tolbert
Pretty good. Apparently there is usually a long line to get in that stretches outside but we walked right in. I got The Princess (Nashville Hot Chicken and Bisquits). My buddy got the Bisquit, sausage and gravy. All was excellent. Cool place and a must visit in the Nashville area. Hit the like button if this was helpful.
Renee Fini
The food was pretty good, but dont think it was worth the hour wait. You actually order in line, pay before and wait to be seated. The Bonuts were very tasty and fresh.
Christa Olds
Everything we ordered was delicious! It was all cooked to order and fresh. Between the 4 in our party, we had The B-roll, Southern Benny, Hungry Human, cappuccino, and biscuits with gravy. We are from out of town, but heard this place was worth trying. They were right and we were not disappointed. Apparently we arrived just before the crowd showed up. Our visit was 8am on a Sunday morning. By the time we left, there was a long line and even people waiting outside in 20 degree weather to eat here. We will definitely come here again and highly recommend this place!
Adam Tuiletufuga
Biscuit Love is a great breakfast joint with a variety of dishes centered around, you guessed it, Biscuits! The line gets long quickly but moves just as quickly. Employees offered water and umbrellas to block direct sunlight to those in line. Food service was quick and courteous. The biscuits are more cake like (more consistent and lighter) but delicious, especially with their peach jam. Eggs were cooked perfectly, as was the thick cut bacon. Price for two people was ~$28 with iced coffee to go with the breakfast.
Elizabeth Douglas
I enjoyed biscuit love. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I had the East Nasty, and it was huge! The chicken was amazing - perfectly fried and seasoned. I thought the gravy was a little too greasy, but the flavor was good. Portions are definitely generous. I wasn’t a huge fan the way orders are placed before being seated, carrying your own drinks (because I had to carry three) to the table, or having to tip up front. Our server never even came to refill our drinks or check on us after the food was delivered. Service and order of operations needs work. They have a little gift shop section near the register with lots of cute items. I would definitely visit biscuit love again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it.
Selena Pegueros
This place was close to where we were staying. Very nice area and such a cute breakfast spot. We had to wait in line to get it but it moved quickly! We ordered the princess and it was delicious definitely coming back!
Jill Nelson
There was a long line outside but it went SO quickly! We waited maybe 20-25 mins. The food was delicious. We got the bonuts, "Lily" biscuit french toast, and the "Egg Plate". Highly recommend this place!
Daniel Jones
Great breakfast joint but definitely over rated. The system is strange because you order right in the door and do not have a designated waiter so the service seems half-done. The food is very good but not great, 8 dollars for a sausage biscuit is not worth it in my opinion. The coffee was alright, nothing spectacular and 3 dollars for “ok” coffee is too much. I’m not quite sure why this place is so popular but the wait and price are enough to deter me. If you want a good value breakfast go to Waffle House, for a high end breakfast try the Pinewood Social.
CMONE WINGO
One word Bonuts❣ Folks line up around the block to get a taste of these heavenly treats. I would encourage you to get up early put on some comfy clothes and get there when they open at 6:30 a.m. Or 7:00 a.m. at the latest because believe it or not they start to get crowded after that.
Gourmand
If you love biscuits, this is the place for you. This place is always packed because it has the best biscuits in Nashville. On weekends you can expect to wait in a line for a bit, but go during weekdays and there is no weight whatsoever. The best part about this place is that it is fast, convenient, and tasty. They have a “not-so-secret” secret menu item called the Nasty Princess. This has their biscuit, fried hot chicken thigh, and their sausage gravy all in one. I would suggest adding an egg on top for that perfect balance, but it is optional. The dish is quite oily/greasy, so just be prepared for that. Also a must try is their bonuts (blueberry biscuit donuts). Absolutely delicious and a perfect dessert to your meal!
Paulina Martinez
Super good!! Worth the wait. Food comes out really quick too.
Chris B
In town for work and heard this place was great. Definitely didn't disappoint. I had the Lilly - a biscuit french toast that was awesome. The biscuit donuts are a must have too.
Morgan DiBacco
By far the best biscuit I’ve ever had in my live. It was so busy yet the service was great! They are dedicated and fabulous employees! Must try if you’ve never been/from out of town. Also it’s close to the Taylor swift wings- don’t forget to grab a photo there!!!
Zack Yuen
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the Lindstrom which I found to be very light and refreshing and yet flavorful with the poached eggs on top. I also had a side biscuit which was amazing. The dough is light and pillowy with a buttery richness that isn't overwhelming. I'd definitely recommend people to come here.

I’ve been to Biscuit Love with friends during visits to Nashville over the past few years and always remembered it to be great. I took myself back today and honestly I was not that impressed. The dish was lukewarm and the biscuit on the dry side. I wish it was as good as it looked. It seems the kitchen is rushing orders......
William Davis
We got the bonuts which were very good, I highly recommend those. We also had the east natsy, which is a biscuit with fried chicken and gravy. I wasn't super impressed with the chicken, it was a little fatty. I will come back and try a different biscuit next time. We waited in line outside for 40 minutes around 9 on a saturday
Katie Stuckey
Short walk from the W hotel. Went early to avoid lines and it probably helped local streets were closed due to a marathon. The smell when you walk in is divine. Ordered the East Nasty, coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Coffee was piping hot with a delicious nutty flavor. Orange juice was amazing. Entree was a generous portion with a flaky biscuit. Took a star off since the gravy was cold and bottom of biscuit was hard. Sat at the counter and for some reason they sat someone directly next to me even though there were plenty of open seats to social distance. Would still go back
Alexis Diaz
Delicious breakfast. We went on a Wednesday morning around 10, only a couple of people in line in front of us, looked like it got busy after though. I had the French omelet and it was incredibly tasty. The bacon is an absolute must have here. I also tried the latte, very delicious coffee. I would love to return here when visiting Nashville again and would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
Malena Reyes
The dark meat for the chicken biscuit was sort of distracting from the flavor! Made the sandwich too fatty tasting and overpowered the spices.
Things In Nashville
Love it!! I'm at the Downtown Nashville location in the area known as the Gulch. Everything was great, service and food! The Bonuts are a must try for anyone visiting for the first time!
Chris Kaczor
Phenomenal breakfast spot. Definitely one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had. You should definitely have breakfast here while you’re in Nashville
Linda S.
We loved everything about this place. High quality comfort food served with true hospitality.
Sumer Kuxhausen
Super efficient process so when you see the lines don't get too scared - the bonuts were amazing and the friend chicken between biscuit (east nasty) was filling and gave you that warm comfort feeling in your belly. It's a busy place but people are always around checking on you and refilling drinks, picking up empty plates etc. Absolutely a great breakfast place to try in Nashville 😀
Kevin Tipton
Delicious Sandwiches. Tasty Sausage Gravy. Friendly Staff. Decent Prices. Relaxing Atmosphere. Overall Amazing place to enjoy a meal
Lauren Thompson
The food here was really good. If I went back, I would not wait over an hour in line. Get carry out and eat in the park or car or hotel. They put out water but I can’t imagine having to do this on a warm day.
LISA WU
Breakfast is outstanding! My brown Sugar lemon is not too sweet, and very perfect!
L East
Food memories are made here. Here's a hint on beating the line: you can sit at the bar if there is space. As for the food, the orange juice is fresh squeezed, the bacon smoky, the eggs come hot and well seasoned, potatoes are crispy and the biscuits...! So delicious I might just order two next time.
John Howell
Loved the biscuits and sausage gravy. Some of the best I've had. Plenty of other great choices. Good staff and environment. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was a 30 minute wait, but well worth it.
L A D Y B U G
This place is such a gem. Everything is delicious! Not to mention the cute umbrellas they provide to their customers who wait in the scorching sun 🥰 …
Zenobia Cousins Caballero
The Bonuts are everything people say they are! Even getting them to go, they were so buttery and tasty, we got them two days in a row. We tried the seasonal pumpkin bonuts with apple caramel…AMAZING! Would definitely recommend.
Mike Robertson
Pretty good coffee and friendly staff but disappointing namesake. Ordered the East Nasty -- boneless chicken thigh with gravy and a biscuit. Gravy was good and the chicken was great. Biscuit was cake-like; spongy like bread and a little yeasty in taste. Disappointed in the Biscuit of Biscuit Love; huge bummer
joeandchel1
I had the East Nasty and my husband had the Southern Benny and they were both fantastic! There was a little wait but the line moved fast.
M C
I don't really care foe biscuits and gravy but Biscuit Love is a staple of Nashville so we decided to give it a try. Wow!! Was I pleasantly surprised. I had the SEC and my husband had the Southern Benny. The biscuits are light. Not like the typical dense biscuits I was used to. The sausage gravy was delicious! Biscuit Love is a must do when visiting Nashville. I gave it 4 stars because of the wait time.
Heather
Excellent fried chicken and delicious biscuits, but the star of the show was the bonuts. Best food invention ever!!
Heather Tims
Quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever had! The wait time wasn't that long, service was incredible and friendly and the food was amazing!
Michael Schaub
Arrive early and you’ll beat the line (7:30am).
The chili potatoes were incredible!!
Biscuit were flakey and delicious.
The biscuit donuts were meh. Came out cold. (Only issue).
Jessica Illert
Great customer service! As a vegetarian, they didn't have too much, but I didn't leave hungry.
Scrambled eggs and cheese potatoes are to die for!
Mikaila Gaskell
Delicious! There was a short queue when we arrived but it moved quickly and was worth the wait as the food was delicious. Would recommend the biscuit french toast! Coffee was also really great.
Frank Clarkson
Favorite breakfast spot in Nashville. The B-Roll is phenomenal!
William Davis
The food was outstanding. I got a biscuit with ham and sausage gravy with an over easy egg on top. It was heavenly and extremely tasty. The Yazoo beer was refreshing. Tucked away right next to a public parking garage. A must visit.
Dave Esary
Why have hotel breakfast when this great find is a beautiful 2 block walk away? Great breakfast in a fun environment.
Kellie Ivey McCullers
This stop on our visit to Nashville came highly recommended & we can see why. We all loved our food & biscuits. The Bonuts are truly worth the hype-get them! The service was also - extremely friendly. We went as soon as they opened, so the wait wasn't bad yet at all.
Sharnelle Edwards
AMAZING!! I went there directly after my flight landed. I ordered the East Nasty with a lemonade. And boy it was such an amazing way to be introduced into Nashville! The different textures and tastes were mindblowing!! Such a nice & comfy atmosphere! Would definitely go again!!!
Lejla Smajlovic
Had to wait about 45 min in line but man, was it worth it ! Everything and I mean everything was excellent! Food, service, drinks, atmosphere! 5 * for sure !
R Davis
We knew there would be a long line, but got to know the people ahead of us while we waited. Figure out what you want to order before you get to the counter, don't just stand there as there are many other people waiting to order and you had plenty of time to look at the menu.
The Bonuts and princess chicken were fantastic. My husband wasn't over impressed with the flasky biscuits, he thought they were a bit bland. The tables are very close together so grab an extra cup on water for each person on your way in. There are still many things I'd like to try during my next visit.
Jacob D
Must stop breakfast joint in Nashville specializing in biscuit sandwiches and other breakfast creations. Full espresso bar as well
Danny Dana
Self proclaimed best chicken biscuit sandwich, the Nasty. We ordered it as a Nasty Princess (spicy). Tasty biscuit, out of this world gravy, great seasoning on the chicken with the right amount of heat, but not a fan of the dark meat. 45 minutes wait, was ok for the food, once...
Canaan Kagay
I’ve been a fan since they were a food truck, my only complaint is that they’re not closer to my neighborhood. Get there early. Otherwise it’s a line out the door, all the time. We got there right when they opened and within 45 minutes people were lined up out through the door down the sidewalk. Definitely a good problem to have as a restaurant. Pictured are the Bonuts, little donut holes filled and topped with a cream cheese frosting and set on a base of blueberry compote. Also had the “east nasty” good god, please get it. Coffee is also solid, just great plain black coffee.
Amy Hop
This place is good but not worth the hype IMO. The line is always SOO long! It's probably best to order ahead and pick up, or you'll be standing in an hour line out the door! However, the BONUTS are amazing!
Official “V1RUS” V1RUS
Food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. However out of my party's 4 orders, one entree was missing their egg and waited another 5-10 minutes for it to be brought to the table. Lastly, my chicken was undercooked and had to be sent back.
Lori Penoyer
After reading many recommendations to check out BL, we did and they did not disappoint. While the line is lengthy, the flow allows for the wait time to be much shorter than you might expect. The line winds around the sidewalk but orders are placed and paid for at the register, you are given a number to take to your table and food is delivered quickly. Seating rotates quickly is much more abundant than it appears from the outside. The staff is incredibly sweet. We had the pleasure of being tended to by Ryan, thanks Ryan! food was fresh, hot and so delicious. We tried the Gertie which is a biscuit smothered in warmed chocolate and peanut butter (I Believe there was jelly or compote hiding in there too) and topped with pretzels. Decadent. The Bonuts are topped with silky lemon marsacspone set on a dollop of warm blueberry compote. East Nasty includes a perfect fried chicken thigh smothered in gravy and dusted with white cheddar. I could go on but the point here is everything is delicious and the staff, like so many in Nashville, are friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and try one of their three locations.
Sabrina Olazarra
First time here. Just happen to look for a place to eat for breakfast, saw the reviews and what the heck let try it. The line was a little long, but well worth the wait. I was a culinary arts specialist for the army, have tried all sorts of food all over the world. And hands down it was delicious. Very fresh ingredients and full of flavor. My husband and I love trying different foods. We will be coming back again.
Amy Tomasko
Had to try the bonuts! They were amazing - with a little hint if lemon and the blackberry preserves! Now, the coffee was also spot on!! It was the right amount of sweet and not too bitter! The atmosphere was clean and fresh. Such a nice little place, and with multiple locations too!! We would have never found it if not for Tom on the trolley tours! We will be back to try other things!
Dog Owner
NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. I first went here around 2015 while in Nashville on business. Was so pleasantly surprised at the flavors and quality - the bonuts and bacon were amazing. I quickly spread the word and would take clients from out of town here on the regular. Then Covid happened.
First time back since Fall 2019 and sad that the experience has lost its shine.
Had the Lindstrom, roasted veggie bowl and an order of bonuts with coffees.
Poached eggs overcooked, grilled veggies bland and bonuts came out cold. They fell flat from what I had experienced in the past.. blueberries sauce sparse, and balls dense and salty. Not the amazing flavor I had many times before,
One female staff member with pony tail very friendly but guy at the register had an attitude.
All in all it’s become another not so memorable brunch restaurant.
Rob Haas
Wow, the food was amazing. Only reason it's not 5 star is I felt the price was a little high for what is essentially simple food. I absolutely would go back again if I'm ever back in Nashville though.
Aisha Imtiaz
When our group got here, there was a long line, but they provided umbrellas for shade from the sun and water. I got the Bill Neal without bacon and it was great. Service was extremely fast! I would definitely recommend this place.
Cammie Tysver
Tried a variety of biscuits here and loved it. Was easy to walk to from our hotel. Great location and a cool restaurant. Usually a line out the door so try to hit this at off-peak times.
Alan
Went there but was not as impressed as I read from other reviews.
I had scrambled eggs on a biscuit. The eggs were a bit dry but ok. But boring. Also one biscuit was covered in cheese. But all they have is American cheese. It would have been nice to have a little choice in cheese: maybe Swiss or something??? Oh and it’s not served with anything. How about a piece of lettuce or tomato or something to give the plate a little color?
BTW, you should try the brûlée grapefruit. That was excellent.
Doug Lauver
The princess was so good. Some of the best Nashville hot chicken that I've had here. We got super lucky and had no wait to get in.
David Win
I'd give it a 3 but my wife would give it a 5, so we're gonna split the difference and give it a 4!
We went for a late lunch as we were nearby and had heard so much about it. Found the ordering system a little odd, and staff shouldn't assume that everyone knows it. If you're there for the first time it needs to be explained properly.
First time I've ever tried sausage gravy which smothered my entire dish of biscuits with ham and eggs, and have to conclude it's not for me! My wife on the other hand loved it and polished off her entire plate!
The trendy environment was a nice place to be, and I can appreciate why it gets so busy if you like biscuits & gravy. Me, I'll head to Puckett's for my breakfast instead! 😉
Zane Klein
Pros: The biscuits were delicious and had the perfect amount of sweetness.
Cons: There was a line outside the door. The inside looked like the inside of a warehouse. People are felt rushed in and out. You order and pay before you sit down, which definitely takes away from the southern hospitality style the city of Nashville has to offer.
They do make a "home style" biscuit, but the restaurant's atmosphere is not homey at all.
Dayyan Adoor
Very popular place in Nashville! We tried the Nasty Princess, which is this hot chicken served over their biscuit/bread.
Defnitely worth a try. It was pretty good
Sawyer Moody
This place is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. From the quick service to the excellent dishes, Biscuit Love deserves 6 stars. I am in love and I will be back!
SM Tan
This place has insanely long lines so I had to try it. I ordered the East Nasty, which is a fried chicken thigh with gravy on biscuit. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and the chicken thigh was juicy. And it would have been a five star review but for the fact that the chicken was lukewarm. That was a severe disappointment.
Christina P
OMG!!!!! The absolute best!! Doggone ridiculous how good their food is! I'm talking food perfection! I can't wait to come back to Tennessee just to come here. I had the East Nasty. The chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection. I also had the hummingbird dish which is so delish! Unbelievable!! We stood in line for about 45 minutes but it went fast and was more than worth the wait. I can't say enough just go!
AD Avenue Group
Good place to eat brunch and biscuit. There is a waiting line on the weekends but it worth it.
The staff is awesome and the service is great
Kayla Claire
Wow wow wow. Worth standing in line for sure. I’ll be thinking about that cinnamon roll all weekend! Please get it. I got the chicken biscuit with gravy and it was super tasty but definitely big enough to share after the cinnamon roll! All in all a great meal, the lemonade was tasty too.
Charles Deeton
Great biscuits and great breakfast. If you are a fan of morning breakfast like me, you have got to try this place. The biscuits and sausage gravy can't be beat. Nice dining atmosphere.
S Fradl
While the line was long, the wait was well worth it. Fantastic fresh biscuits and their fresh squeezed orange juice made for a great mimosa.
Jacob Belcher
The food was amazing. Prices are fair. There was a line to get in but the wait was not bad. My wife loved the biscuits and gravy and loved it.
Joey Moisica
Although the line was out the door, we didn't wait long at all, and it was definitely worth it. The biscuits are fantastic as well as the jam they serve with them. Unfortunately we didn't have room to order dessert, but every dish we saw looked amazing.
Paige McMichael
Spotted this place on a walk to a bar after seeing a show at Cannery Ballroom and decided to try it for brunch the next morning. Line was out the door, but moved fairly quickly - our overall wait was 20-25 mins. My boyfriend ordered The Princess with a side of cheesy grits and I opted for the Lindstrom (which is supposed to come with poached eggs, although I was asked by the staff member raking our order if over easy was alright) with a side of potatoes. My boyfriend's food was excellent - huge portions, awesome house made pickle. Mine had a few issues, most notably that the white of my egg was completely raw in places and not cooked to order. The Brussels sprout "hash" was flavorful, but was too heavy on the hazelnuts, even coming from someone who likes hazelnuts - there were so many I actually began picking them out so I could better appreciate the other flavors in the dish. The potatoes were just okay, nothing to write home about. As some have commented, service is a bit strange - wait staff are friendly, but due to how busy the restaurant is, don't expect to see them back at your table for the rest of your meal once you have been handed your food unless they're taking your empty plate. I had to ask for a refill on my (very tasty, hand-squeezed) lemonade at the bar. I neglected to mention my issue with my food to staff because they seemed so busy and I didn't realize it until halfway through my plate, so I didn't get to enjoy the rest of my food. Overall, I would come back, but I would definitely order something else, and would hope that it was a little less packed (though, given that we went on a Wednesday around 11 when nothing special was happening, it may just always be like that).
Kevin Thomas
The Bonuts are absolutely amazing. Absolutely must have in Nashville. The place is worth going to just for them. That being said the food itself was ok. I am not the biggest friend chicken and biscuits fan (and that’s probably why I thought it was ok), but even then I have had better biscuits and gravy then this place. The atmosphere is amazing. The line looked very long but moved fast and it only took 30 minutes to get our food. All in all I’d say it’s worth going to but it seemed a little over hyped?
Christina Adams
Long lines that move fast. You order first. Then you take your seat. Grab water when you check out so you don't have to wait for the waitresses. I had the poached eggs with shaved Brussels sprouts. It was delicious. I highly recommend the bonuts. Fried balls of biscuit dough with marscapone cream and blueberry compote.
John Doran
Crazy good breakfast here. Ordered far too much, but everything was delicious. Nasty Princess (hot chicken w sausage gravy and cheese), Benedict biscuit, Bonuts, Bacon... All damn fine and the service was great as well. Line is much shorter on a weekday and if you're a small group (2-3) ask at the door if there is bar space... You might be able to skip the line if so.
Sara Milligan
Nice place. Food was cooked perfectly. The line is very long but worth it to wait. Fully loaded biscuit cinnamon roll was really yummy 🤤 …
Michelle Kocses
Delicious. I appreciated that there were options with veggies. The ingredients tasted like they were good quality. There was a line our front but it moved pretty fast and the food came out quickly once we ordered.
Jordan Dilworth
Excellent little breakfast restaurant. I ended up getting the Southern Benny. Very good portion size for the price. Food and service was very good. However, I wasn't impressed with the biscuit at all. Not a bad biscuit but it's not southern style by no means.
Cheyanne Farr
Our experience at the Biscuit Love was a highlight of our visit to Tennessee! The food was so delicious and the staff was very friendly. They recommend we put an egg on top and I’m glad I did because it was scrumptious. My friends also got “The naughty princess” and they both loved it. The decor is adorable and I loved the clothes they had available for purchase. The line seemed long but it moved really fast and even though there were a lot of people we found a great place to sit. Highly recommend!
Khue Tran
I had a decent experience at Biscuit Love. The staff and service is very friendly, and the hype at this place is real. I think it gave me too high of expectations because I thought the biscuit itself was very mediocre. I have had better biscuits. The chicken on the other hand, is incredible. Really well done. But considering this is known for its biscuit, I do expect it to be phenomenal. Would recommend people to go if its not crowded (which is never the case since the line wraps around the corner) but it's not worth standing in line for 2 hours.
Samantha C.
Super cute breakfast spot with delicious food and awesome waitstaff! What more can you ask for? I recommend the princess and regret not getting a photo before I devoured it.
Aaron Fountain
There will be a line but it is worth the wait. The line actually moves pretty quickly since you pay up front and they bring the food to your table. Also, it's decently priced. At first I was concerned that this would be one of those mediocre, overpriced restaurants (prices are extremely reasonable), but this food is cooked right.
Mark A.
Approximately one hour line this morning. (Ugh) Once in, the ordering is seamless. Ordering, paying, seating and a cup of coffee in less than 5 minutes. The staff very attentive and proficient in the art of coustermer service. Thank You very much for a 50 % MILITARY& party DISCOUNT. Humbling experience for a jester of appreciation. I can't say enough from an appreciative veteran. Tanks for making our country great!
John
Great menu. Good portion size. Efficient ordering method and food came out very quick despite how packed it was. Definitely a good spot!
Rob Hobson
Wait at 945 on a Friday was about 20 min. The line moves pretty fast and the food comes quick. Tried the east nasty and the grits. The food was really great. If your a northerner sausage gravy is something you should definitely experience. I would definitely come back here again.
Carlos Vargas
Great local place, the biscuits are to die for and the lines moves really quick. Many other business owners should come here and see how this business gets hundreds of people in in a few hours and no one feels rushed.
Carol
I ordered the chicken and biscuits. It was my first time eating this dish, and I enjoyed it. The place was cute and clean, with friendly staff.
Chance Clarke
Excellent breakfast spot! East Nasty was a great and filling!! Must have
Melissa A.
The first time i was in Nashville the wait was 2 hrs for our group of 8. This time just hubby and I went and it was def worth the 25 mins wait in the cold/rain! They did things to biscuits I woulda never thought of. I ordered the East Nasty-hubby ordered the pork chop n eggs-the portions are so large we could've split just one😍 …
Gordon Watson
Long queue to get in. But super speedy once in and seated.
Brittany Y.
Be prepared for seating wars and mouthwatering food!! Upon entry, you are in a assemble line to place order and given a table number to then find opening seating in the dining area. The service was pleasant and efficient. I recommend the Bill Neal, Bonuts, and a side order of chronic bacon! Oh and order of fresh squeezed orange juice. Be advised: the OJ comes in a short cup and keep your table number until your full order has hit the table. One last thing, for my philanthropists at heart, buy a brand shirt there...proceeds go to a local charity! The charities change weekly. Overall, I highly recommend this spot...try to keep your party small..no more than 4 people.
Reine H
Went here during a visit to Nashville. I have to admit that it’s not the type of food I love but the experience was great. The place is very cute, the service was great, I just wish I understood the ordering process up front. The Hot Chicken was on point 👌🏻 …
James Jadotte
What an awesome place! Stopped here for breakfast with my Fiancée (on her birthday) and without even mentioning it, they went out of their way to make her birthday special! Excellent customer service!
Catherine
Really good brunch spot!! Wait was about 45 min - 1hr in the blazing sun but umbrellas are provided. Brown sugar lemonade made up for it 😋
Ronnie Bunshaft
Great fried chicken. Biscuit was only good, not spectacular. Line was rediculous(45+ minutes) on a 90+ day. Moved slowly, not covered, only learned they had some water right at the end. Really brutal. Go right before they close at 3 for the best experience.
Bill Powell
Honestly this was the best breakfast ever!! We waited maybe 30 minutes (which for a Sunday isnt bad at all). Very unique in you order before you sit down, and it's at the table by the time you are comfy. Don't miss the bonuts.. it's a dont miss and you can decide to share or make others get another order. I had the southern ham, my wife had bananas foster oatmeal, and my daughter had the whipped yogurt. Great coffee and relaxing meal
Majid Syed
Perfect brunch or breakfast spot. Walking distance from other shops and sites. Fresh squeezed OJ and Nashville Hot Chicken on biscuit was the right amount of food. Lines are long so be prepared for a wait, but we'll worth it. The Bonut is their specialty donut/biegnet with mascarpone and blueberries sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It's a must.
Steve E.
Get here early and be prepared to wait a bit. The line is very efficient, and the food is well worth the wait. Dog in. I wouldn't be able to resist this place if I lived close by. Make sure you drop by of you like biscuits on any level. You need these in your life.
Bryan Sequeira
On point! Loved the food. Wait was not bad and the service model is smart with self seating so you aren't waiting for your table to open up. Lots of communal tables. Don't forget to order the bonuts(biscuit donuts) with lemon mascarpone nad blueberry jam. Delish!
Jason Canonigo
Lucky with short line. Waited 20 min outside on Mon around 1pm. We ordered East Nasty, Pork Chop & Eggs, Chronic bacon, kids french toast, and the bonuts. For drinks we had Fruit tea and hot tea. EVERYTHING was good. Not sure if I would wait 45+ min for, especially if it's hot.
Recommendation: Consider other locations or backup plan if the line is too long.
Kristine Hill
We got in quickly, the service was great and the food was amazing! The four of us ordered different items. Everything was delicious.
Brandon Norris
Worth the wait. Worth the weight. Pro tip: Get the Bonuts!
Emily Anderson
My first stop in Nashville and one of my faves. I would come back here and recommend it to anyone. I got in around 745a from my flight on a Friday. It started to pick up around 900a..line was nearly out the door. Door was delicious. Staff was awesome.
Eddie Turner
Atmosphere was wonderful I'm not a fan of the special biscuit known as the "East Nasty". I will try something different next time.
Jennifer Foster
Really good. We ordered the nasty and the bonuts. I'm honestly not in love with fried chicken but this is what they are known for so we ordered it. It's good but wasn't in love. Order probably whatever you prefer to eat. The wait is worth it though. So about 15-20 people out the door was about 20 minutes. But you get a seat inside immediately there's no waiting inside really. Service was fantastic.
Caroline Martel
Biscuit Love was worth the wait! We ordered the Princess, East Nasty and Bonuts.
Leedkaa Bur
Chicken so good I can’t believe it’s legal.
Makes me believe their might be a God. So spectacular it brought tears to my eyes🥹
Also, try the bonuts. Just amazing.
USA Babe007
Pork chops and eggs. They we're cooked perfectly. The biscuit was average at best.
The Bonuts which I was told was to die for. We're okay nothing fantastic. The orange juice was fantastic. The price was extremely high.
Tayler Loomis
For all the hype that Biscuit Love gets, I was expecting a lot more. It was okay, nothing out of this world though. I will caveat that we decided to place a togo order instead of stand in line for hours... So maybe it's one of those meals that must be enjoyed at the restaurant in order to get the full effect?
Rite Lite Signs
Great music/atmosphere as you enter. Amazing food and quickly for being a full house! Friendly and funky staff. Highly recommend for the tourist or local!
Monica Chan
Delicious! Got the biscuit with sausage gravy and kale and a cappuccino. No line when I came for brunch in a weekday.
You order first, they give you a number, and it’s open seating.
Marissa Markowitz
The line moved really fast. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly & Nathaniel who served the food, made our experience special
Noah Burke
Interesting almost beer flavored biscuits served with a variety of toppings both savory and sweet. Definitely above average but not the best.
Michael Karp
There will be a line. The food is worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. The fruit tea is a must. Everything was cooked perfectly. Attentive service. Thanks for everything!
James Baber
Meals ranged from "not bad" to "decent" in our group. We waited in line for 20 minutes, but had it been much longer like the crowd we saw when we exited, it wouldn't have been worth it.
Biscuits were decent, the Chronic Bacon was so sweet most of us left most of it on our plates.
Sally Ouyang
This place is a little bit too hyped... the food was good but nothing crazy amazing where I’ll wait another hour to eat it. There’s usually a wait around 45 min so do plan on coming early. If you do go, order just a plain biscuit. That was the most delicious thing, rather than the fancy biscuits. There’s a Nashville sign inside that lots of people take a picture of.
Ashley Hudson
The shrimp & grits (Bill Neal) was AMAZING!!! HIGHLY recommend! The lemonade was good too! Very cool vibe & quickly served after you order (pretty popular place so be prepared to stand in lin) WORTH THE WAIT!
Melissa Seyffer (Miss Moffet)
Visited early on a Saturday and encountered a very long line. Umbrellas were provided to keep people waiting out of the sun and the line moved exceptionally fast. The donuts and iced coffee were really good. My biscuit breakfast was good but not great. Once you order at the counter and sit down there isn't a lot of help from the staff. Had to track down silverware ourselves.
Xye Inzauro
I was recommended this place from several people and told that it's a must while in town. I waited in line for about 40 minutes for a table of 4 and was told that it was s slow day. The food was good and a more upscale twist on southern favorites. The space is really cute with fine service. They're a well - oiled machine but I gave them a 4/5 for the wait.
Mallory Sullivan
Cute inside with good vibe. I enjoyed my lunch here, but I think it’s a bit over hyped. We waited in line for about 20-30 minutes before placing our order. My salad (Brussels sprouts with poached eggs) was good, but not amazing. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a glass of prosecco and it tasted like it had been sitting out since the night before. No bubbles AT ALL, and not chilled. It wasn’t a huge deal, but I do regret not saying anything. I ordered a biscuit on the side and it was delish - especially with the jam. I probably wouldn’t wait in the same line to go back.

Delicious takes on southern style breakfast food. Enjoyed the fast casual take, since it made things move quickly, though the drink refills were a bit tough to get. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The line to get in moves quickly. They hand out menus for you to start planning since you will place your order at the register shortly after entering the door. The people working the line and register were extremely helpful by offering some suggestions. Food was delicious and didn't take too long. FYI if you sit under the Nashville sign, expect to be in people's pictures as they will be photographing it not really caring you're sitting under it.

The hype is exaggerated, but this is a solid breakfast option with great service. Would recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit which isn't on the menu but is served. Just manage your expectations and you'll be satisfied. Biscuit French toast is unique and good, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Waited in a huge line which obviously couldn't be helped but the food was ok. I honestly was hoping for a biscuit with a bit more moisture or fluff I guess. It's was a fun spot but the latte was very impressive and so were the bronughts.

Absolutely worth the wait. Be prepared to stand in line, but the service is stellar and the food is amazing. Particularly the bonuts, they are a must try. And the orange juice!

The line goes much faster than it looks. Look at the menu while you wait because you have to order before you sit down. Service was pleasant and timely. We waited 45 mins on a Friday morning - it is typically a longer wait. Outdoor patio in the back was great.

Excellent breakfast place located downtown Nashville. Due to it's popularity we had to wait a solid 45 minutes just to get in. Food is great and I would highly recommend to try this place if you visit Nashville.

The line was long, but the food and staff were great!

Best breakfast in town! The chicken is the best I've ever had.

Great food and coffee! There was a huge line when I showed up at 10:30am on a Tuesday. I was solo so I was able to get a spot at the bar. If you're traveling they have a spot to put your bags. My only complaint was that the biscuit was more like a roll, I was expecting a buttery flakey pull apart biscuit - not a dense bread like roll. Flavor was good though!

Excellent, kinda pricey but when in Nashville expect to pay up, everything here $$$ Highly recommend

Portions&Prices were excellent, military discount was 50% off and the lemonade and milk had unlimited refills. I would recommend the biscuit with sausage gravy which comes with a kale salad, the cappuccinos there are also great, thank you biscuit love!

Great food and service! If only the line wasn't insane. Easily and hour by Sat brunch time. We tried a second time on Sunday @ 730am and got right in. By 830 it would be easily 20 to 30 minute wait.

Great breakfast, great service, if you get a chance to eat here, I highly recommend it!

Love! Nothing bad to say about this place.
Don't be intimidated by the line outside. It moves quick and definitely is worth the wait.
Favorite breakfast I had while in Nashville.

The food and bar service was very good. Although we waited outside for over an hour in the TN heat until we got inside. I don't know if the food was so amazing to go through that experience again.

One of my favourite meals in Nashville! Had an East Nasty - hot chicken covered in sausage gravy stuffed into a buttery fluffy biscuit. Wow. Only wish I'd had enough room to try the dessert dish! Lineup was about 30 min. They handed out umbrellas to avoid sunburns. Sat at the bar and everyone was friendly and you could tell how much the staff enjoy it there as well. Highly recommends

The hype doesn’t live up. Yes, the biscuits are fantastic. The gravy is decent. But the overall experience is underwhelming. After waiting close to an hour outside, you order, pay and then wait for your food. The food arrived very quick which was nice, but it all felt very rushed. The food was decent, but it wasn’t anything spectacular. The Pub across the street had a biscuits and gravy bowl that was significantly better.

Backyard patio area is peaceful by a fountain and the food is good. Sparkling and tap water station is nice. Expect a wait for brunch, especially at this location, or pre-order and grab to go.

Arrived at 1130 on a Monday and waited about 30 min to get in. Definitely worth the wait. The east nasty sandwich is amazing. Also had the pork rinds and pimento cheese. Really good!!
