If you think you will park next to restaurant that’s big NO because it’s in alley, it does have parking garage close to it and first two ours are free. Ambience in restaurant is really cool and authentic but service is slow we ordered food and got it after our and half. Oysters was really good, cheeseburger also then fries,pasta and ribeye was cold and didn’t taste good. Honestly for rating 4,7 stars and price I expected at least better food. Because of nice,polite and friendly service also clean ambience I will stay on three stars.

First time here. Tried the crab cakes (tasty), coconut shrimp (wonderful!), fish tacos (delightful!), and wild rice filled mushrooms (I must have missed the part that they were smothered in cheese which I don’t eat. Had I been aware I wouldn’t have ordered them. But I managed to rescue the shrooms and eat just those.) We loved The atmosphere. All of the windows made it inviting. I used google maps to get us there and it took a drive around the block to realize you can’t see it from the road. My only less than positive observation was that the gals putting together the mussel dishes did not have their hair pulled back. Whenever I make food I’m giving to others, I am always careful to pull my hair back so I don’t get hair in their food. This restaurant is definitely going to be added to our list of fun Fargo restaurants to eat at. We’ve already planned to eat here before the next show we will be watching at the Fargo theater!

Good food and drinks! Drink menu is generous, offering a wide selection to choose from. Menu of course is fish and with something for everyone related to seafood. There’s even sandwiches and a cheeseburger if seafood is not your preference. Large tables, comfortable seating, great ambiance and a bar. Waitstaff is awesome, attentive and on top of their game!

My partner and I have resided in downtown Fargo for a couple of months now. Beer and Fish company was our first dining experience and we have enjoyed their cuisine frequently. Often we would order ahead and pick it up with no issues. On our last visit, however, we dined inside the restaurant and the service was below average. The beverages were ordered early but they were actually ordered in pos system very late and we were very thirsty and eventually received them after the appetizers were consumed. The service was ok but the over attentiveness was annoying at times and we felt rushed. The food and beverages were good and strong. The walleye was particularly bone-ridden which surprised me but I believe that's the nature of the fish. It could have been an off day for the server/restaurant, but it is a shame due to the great service on the other occasions.

I went with a friend of mine in the afternoon and we sat down it wasn't very busy at all and we looked at the menu and then we decided my friend got one of the most wonderful looking hamburgers oh my goodness sakes and it was absolutely delicious she said and then we I ordered the coconut shrimp OMG it was unbelievable I still crave it it was. We also had dessert. It was absolutely a wonderful experience and I will go back over and over and over again so if you have the chance I suggest you go out to eat at beer and fish company you won't regret it it's wonderful I've been in food and restaurant for 41 years and this one I would give it 100% BON APPETIT!!!

We had the mussel appetizer which was great. The halibut fish tacos were good with chips and salsa. It was a perk to get complimentary bread! The service was ok.

This was the first time we had dinner here, we really enjoyed the bread and the cod fish and chips. The place was very clean, staff were very friendly and on top of their game! I would return here and recommend them for a really good seafood experience. By the way, they have the best clam chowder!

My favorite restaurant in the FM Area. Food is fantastic!! Absolutely delicious. The Tuna Tartare is a great appetizer, Lobster bisque is yummy, and I love the sauce that goes with the Tiger Shrimp. My kids love the Lobster Mac & Cheese (teen and college age boys). Anniversary dinner was a special date with the Seafood Feast pictured here. Absolutely worth every penny!

Delicious! My roommate and I went out to lunch and we both enjoyed it. I can say with confidence that it was the best seafood I've had in the area. If you are visiting from out of town, do NOT go to a chain for seafood. Go here. Photos shown are the bang bang shrimp and lobster mac and cheese. 🥰

Amazingly fresh seafood in Fargo, ND!!! Google maps doesn't get you a parking spot on this one. The entrance is in alley. We parked on the West side and walked down the alley which is so cool. We had fish and chips with a beer. Many great items on the menu and good beer selection.

The BEST! I love this place - it's perfect for date night or birthday celebrations. I consistently order the bang bang shrimp (awesome quality) but have tried a little bit of everything on the menu. The only thing I haven't been a huge fan of is the clam chowder - it needed a little bit more seasoning. I love that they have old bay hot sauce at every table, too. The service is typically great, but last time we went our server wasn't super attentive and I wasn't able to get my water glass refilled. Other than that, they're amazing. They have raised their prices and I don't think it reflects the current menu on their website - it's a little bit more expensive now. Regardless, I still think the food is a pretty good deal.

We came on a Friday about 6:30 and had a 40 minute wait- but it was absolutely worth it for the food! We were able to grab a beer while we waited which made it easier too. The lobster Mac was wayyyy better then I was anticipating. So worth it! We are here visiting and we’re both impressed with the location and the ambiance of the place. Everything was delicious the staff was great, Brooklyn our server was kind and quick. We would definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in the Fargo area again.

Happy Hour is a good time to go, it's like 4pm-6pm I think. Oysters are amazing, blackened muscles were amazing, crab cakes and the king crab 🦀 were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend trying Beer & Fish Company!!!! Can get pricey but it's absolutely worth it! Can't wait till I move to Fargo and get to eat there on the regular 🤤

We stopped here for lunch on a cross-country road trip and we are glad we did. I had the #6 which was 3 pieces of Walleye and 1 piece of Halibut. It was fantastic, and may be the best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was obviously very fresh. My wife had the cod and loved hers too. Our server was great. Very glad we found the place. The restaurant itself is in an odd location with the entrance in an alley. My car GPS couldn't find the address, but my smart phone had no problem. You can park on Roberts Street N and walk into the alley (to right of 303 Roberts Street) and then take a right at the "T" at the end of the alley.

Great spot in downtown Fargo. Plenty of space so no real wait. Menu has something for everyone and you can even mix and match your fish and style. They do order by 1,2,3 pieces. Honestly, unless you are under 8 you should just order 3. Homemade chips were perfectly cooked. Only downside was the hostess staff. Gloom and doom faces. Try a smile, it does wonders.

So far I have only eaten here one time. I will definitely be back. I love the food and the selection. The wait staff were friendly and kept up with our larger group quite well. The prices are in the higher side, but the food is good. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I love fish and chips but had to go gluten free 2 years ago & I was so happy to have this option again. This is the best! And their Buffalo shrimp was amazing too! This may be my new favorite restaurant!! So good!

My wife and I stopped here to change up our usual supper options, and we are so happy we did! The atmosphere is bright and clean, the staff was busy but all seemed friendly. Our server (Kennedy) was absolutely amazing - she was attentive but not invasive of our time. The food came out so fast, but it tasted incredible. This will definitely be a place we come to eat often.

Wonderful food and great place for the whole family! I have multiple allergies including gluten and dairy and they were beyond accommodating! We also have a picky eater in our family and loved the fish! Exceptional service, too! I highly recommend!

Had a great dinner! Fish and chips was better than your normal fish and chips. Great selection to change it up from the normal fish and chips. Good happy hour specials. Enjoyed the bar seating and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely go back.

If it is my choice on where to go for lunch or dinner, I am always choosing Beer & Fish. My favorite entrees are the fire shrimp pasta, the shrimp tacos, & lobster mac n cheese. Their happy hour is hard to beat & Schnooer glasses the beers come in are super fun! I even love their dessert, the chocolate cake is just so good! The staff is so attentive & customer service is a 10/10. Which feels rare these days in the Midwest, so grateful for this place that continues to provide top-notch service. They do take reservations last time I checked which is helpful for an evening dining time. You can easily walk there by parking in the Robert's Commons parking garage for free and then walk out just steps from their door. I am always extremely pleased after a trip here & encourage seafood and non-seafood lovers alike to add it to their must dine list for the metro! We are so lucky to have them! such great staff, food & beautiful restaurant.

Great food! My only complaint is that I looked online if I needed to make a reservation and there was nothing to state that it would help on a Saturday night. I would have happily made a reservation but instead we showed up and had to wait. We managed to get a seat but we’re told we needed to be done within an hour due to a reservation. This wouldn’t have been a problem, but it should have been communicated to our server. We were still done in time, but due to us needy to leave for a comedy show.

Everything was so delicious! We did get lost getting there - its in the alley but I'm blaming my backseat driver for poor directions 🤣 We had both the Malpeque and Irish oysters cold and some charbroiled Malpeque oysters - they were done so perfectly! For main course I had the King Crab and Ribeye - definitely recommended it was divine. My boyfriend had the twin tails and said it was delish too! Can't wait to visit again! 😍

We had heard mixed reviews about this place before going, so weren't sure what to expect. However, we absolutely loved everything we had, starting with the complimentary sourdough bread. I enjoyed the Shrimp Linguini a lot (plenty to eat...took half of it home), my wife had the Scallops and my son had the Fish and Chips. We each tried them all and really liked all 3 of them. Well.. we went for oysters and they didn't have any? She said they were offering grilled oysters instead..but they were not good! Iam sure they were baked.. they were so small you couldn't see them.. so they filed the shell up with garlic sauce. So disappointed!! How is it possible to not have any oysters, when we can go to Hornbachers and buy some anytime?

Nick is one of the best servers in Fargo. First met him at Wild Terra but glad to see now he’s working in the restaurant right next to my apartment. Tonight my friend and I were the first customers to sit out on the brand new patio, it was great! We tried the fried Walleye Fingers, the Shrimp Tacos, and the Fish and chips. Tacos were the best. Also ended with a sticky cake I would highly recommend. Sit in Nick’s section whenever possible, he’s fast, friendly, witty and always a delight.

Came here for a rehearsal dinner and I will definitely be back if I'm in the area! The oysters, crab cakes and ahi tuna appetizers are all phenomenal. The lobster mac and butter cake were delicious as well. The atmosphere is lovely, I really dig the nautical theme. Nick and the rest of the staff took great care of us, too. Lovely place, definitely stop by if you're in the area!

This is definately the place to bring your gluten free mother in law. They have an entirely seperate fryer for gluten free fish. I went on a satuday for lunch on a colder farmers market day and they had no wait. If you like fish it is an excelent choice. I cant speak for the alcohol because i went with my mormon in laws. My MIL had fried fish for the first time in 20 years and i enjoyed the spicy ranch.

Excellent food!!! This is a MUST if you stop in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We got the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer followed by the fish and chips. Their halibut was amazing!

Won't be my last time here. A great new addition to the downtown food scene. Service was great. Low key atmosphere is exactly what I needed tonight as well. I can see as word get out though this place is gonna get busy towards the end of the week and the weekend. I uhad the halibut cheeks and they were the best I've had since I was in Alaska and had them fresh. This place is truly a great new restaurant and I'll be excited to come back the next time I'm in town.

The augratin potatoes were heavenly, clam chowder was delightful with just a hint of dill, fish n chips were hot, fresh and delishous. But you must try the wild rice stuffed mushrooms. OMG.

Very good food, service and atmosphere! Outdoor seating was nice and they never forgot we were out there. Though they don't have a kids menu, they are very accommodating and able to create kid-friendly options. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town!

Amazing meal. Ordered for takeout, when I arrived, they were out of the crabcake BLT, so I quick pivoted to fish and chips and it was probably the best meal I have had from a FM restaurant in over a year. Staff was incredibly generous in comping part of our meal due to being out of crabcakes, and sent us home with chocolate cake! We will be back! Looking forward to dining in when we can get there in the future.

We loved it! We've been wanting to come here forever and finally made it for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 6. They were busy, but not slammed and there were tables open indoors and outside on the patio with no wait. Most of us went with the cod fish & chips. I chose the french fries (thick, steak fries) and two at my table went with the chips, which are also hand cut in house - they said they were delicious and very crispy. Fish and chips came with a small side of cole slaw, tartar sauce, and your choice of am additional sauce. I got bang bang sauce and would recommend it if you're a fan of spicy. The draft root beer is amazing and a great option if you're looking for a non-alcoholic treat. Our server was great, the bread was soft and fresh. We will definitely go back for a date night with friends. Next time I will just order one piece of fish instead of two, it was a lot of food for me.

I moved to Fargo in January from Detroit, Michigan. Beer and Fish and Maxwells have been the only restaurant I actually look forward to eating at. Beer and Fish has much more of the restaurant feel I’m used to coming from a larger metro area. I find a lot of Fargos restaurant scene is basically a bar that added either pizza or burgers to its menu and said “we’re a restaurant now”. Which is fine, but there’s no variety or inspiration behind any of the food outside of these locations. The cod with lemon sauce is fantastic. Shrimp tacos, ceaser salad (theirs is almost more of a Greek salad in all honesty - but it works) and the fried fish are all hits. The best thing, in my opinion, is their dill clam chowder. I’ll never come and not order that.

My wife and I went here for the day after Valentines dinner. Great atmosphere. Beautiful, modern, nautical atmosphere. Great service. Quick service. Fantastic food. I had the shrimp tacos, big size shrimp, grilled, perfect size, two street taco size. Chips, salsa and guac on the side was flavorful. Loved the warm bread as a starter that came complimentary with our order. My wife ordered the halibut, grilled, tacos. Just as great as the shrimp. Will definitely come here again!

Beer & Fish Company was not something I expected to love. I usually avoid downtown places, its not my crowd, but I'm super happy I went to eat here. The food cost more than I expected, but it was worth every penny. I tried some shrimp tacos and walleye fingers, the walleye was perfectly breaded and fried and to be honest I don't know what half the things were on the tacos but I bit in and it was delicious. The service was great and it was visible that everyone working there enjoyed what they were doing. I will be going back soon.

We were extremely impressed with this place. We tried a bit of everything and couldn't find a flaw! The oysters tasted 100% fresher than some we had just had in Seattle a few weeks prior and the lobster roll rivaled some of the best in Maine! The happy hour is such a great deal we might make it a weekly stop.

I travel to Fargo from the the Twin Cities frequently for work. Tried this spot for the first time and was impressed with the oysters and their lobster roll would give Smack Shack a run for their money.

Would have been a 5 except for a couple of minor issues. First, the restaurant is hidden in an old alleyway, and there’s road construction blocking off one end. We did eventually get there. Second, I ordered my ribeye medium rare and got it medium. Now, they offered to replace it, but I made the decision not to, for time’s sake. They offered a discount, which I declined. My wife had the walleye and she was very happy with it. All in all, a positive experience. We’ll definitely go again!

Excellent fish and shrimp! The coleslaw was very impressive as was the selection of "sauces" . We had the wild rice stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and wow were they tasty! Awesome selection of beer and drinks too. The staff was on the ball as well. We really enjoyed our experience and plan to return for more.

Very attentive and friendly staff! My party tried a variety of items: the Cod fish & chips were very meaty and tasty, the tuna guacamole was a great app, and the drunken mussels were amazing! On our way out the host said “thanks for coming, we hope to be running better next time you’re here!” My group thought everything was already very smooth, so not sure what more they think they need to do because we thought it was great.

Service was great. The lobster roll is outstanding. Clam chowder is great. My family had different types of fish and shrimp platters. They were not too impressed with their meals. The batter reminded them of Long John Silver's fish. But basing it on my own experience, I will definitely go back. However, I would avoid the patio dining next time. The flies were really bad.

This is a golden star of a restaurant in downtown Fargo. We are never disappointed no matter what we decide to try. You can't go wrong with the Happy Hour oysters and mojito. We also shared the wild rice mushrooms and they're a must every time we dine here! We came to celebrate our anniversary and the chocolate fudge cake that we were brought was the perfect finish to a special meal.

As the food was good, I feel it fell short of great. Cheese is great, but it takes away some of the seasoning that is normally there. So you must give a little extra ti compensate for it. Also, the breading on the Walleye is just to thick and bland. Walleye has an exceptional flavor and flakyness, the breading stole it. Atmosphere is still inviting and very pleasant. Just need some food tweeking to spruce up the flavor bomb for the taste buds.

Great new restaurant downtown. The bang bang shrimp is bangin! The drinks were excellent. One of the best margaritas in town. I hope you like tequila 😉. The shrimp tacos were probably the best thing that I tried. The walleye and halibut were also delicious. The tartar sauce was good. It was loaded with dill which is awesome, but just a little too sweet for my liking. I can't wait to come back and try some different items.

Delicious, fresh fish and chips! We tried halibut, walleye, and cod and they were all great. Nice, crispy batter on the fish which was not greasy at all. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender and fluffy inside. They have a wonderful array of dipping sauces as well as malt vinegar and ketchup. The coleslaw was different and tasty. Good beer selection and a nice atmosphere.

I loved the butter that came with the lobster. Something about it made me very happy inside. And the fries, the fries were heavenly! Best in my opinion. The raw oysters were delicious aswell, the horseradish pulled it all together. Would come again.

Love this place! We were looking for a seafood restaurant today and so glad we found the Beer & Fish Company. The atmosphere was great, industrial decor was comfortable, food was excellent. We all had the fried walleye. The beer batter was tasty ' crunchy exterior, flavorful bites! Bread service was so good, soft sourdough bread with crispy crust. The Lobster bisque was simply amazing. Waiter was frequently checking on us. Will definitely come back!

Good food overall. Too busy savoring the food to take any pictures of the food. While not under any recommendation, the Tiger Citrus salad is also excellent. The flavor just burst in your mouth. The bread served is fresh and unique. Excellent service while the place is quite full with customers.

Nothing seemed like it was done in house. It all felt like it had come in frozen and was dropped in the fryer. The food was priced too high for the quality you got. Service was OK, nothing great. Oyster bar only has 2 choices and it doesn't seem like you can buy them individually only in groups of 6. The restaurant puts out a very New England vibe decor wise. I hope they can right this ship and make this place a great downtown Fargo gem but right now this gem is hidden deep in the sand.

My husband and I loved it! The fish and chips were better than most I grew up eating on the west coast. The lobster bisque was absolutely delightful! The oysters tasted SO fresh and just delicious! The only thing we were not impressed with was the Ahi tuna. It was a bit over cooked and the textures didn’t flow well. Our server was so friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is super nice and the decor is modern and fun. We will definitely be going back soon!

Food was very good. Much improved service since my first visit which was a few weeks ago. We had oysters (raw), came with balsamic vinegar, horseradish and cocktail sauce ... Delicious. Had the calymari, the portion seemed small, but was very good. Scallops, walleye and lobster Mac were the dishes we enjoyed ... All were served hot and all were very good. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and the place was very busy. They take reservations and I highly recommend making one, especially on the weekends ... Over an hour wait on Friday night....

This place is definitely filling a niche that downtown was previously missing. The interior is bright, happy, and comfortable as well. As for service, they were prompt, friendly, and attentive. It looks like they have an excellent beer and cocktail selection, but we will have to hit that up next time around. Come check this place out!

This was one of the only places open for takeout downtown as we were passing through, and the prices seemed a bit high, but I’m happy to say that we were proven wrong! While we waited for our food, we had several people check in to make sure that we’d been helped, and even offer us water (this was a 15 minute wait, at most). The cook who brought our food out also added in an extra dip which they insisted would be great with the fresh chips (it was!). Our walleye fingers and chips were crispy and fresh, the dill clam chowder was fantastic, and even the tartar sauce was impressive. Absolutely fantastic food and service, and I can’t wait to go back.

No waiting for a Monday night dinner, party of 6. Outside patio was full; inside restaurant was about 3/4 full. Waters offered immediately, cocktails took a bit longer. Arrived during happy hour and they were, unfortunately out of oysters. My oldest got the walleye fish and chips and my youngest got the crab patty BLT. Both of them were very happy with their choices. We had expected fries instead of chips since there was malt vinegar on the table, but the chips were fresh and delicious. I had the mahi mahi tacos, the the fish was firm and well seasoned. The tacos were kind of drippy, though. Guacamole was chunky creamy and mild.

This was our first time at Beer & Fish Company. We were wow'd all around. The appetizers were amazing, we had the crab cakes and the with drunkin clams and boy were they amazing. We had the lobster 🦞 bisque next and it was the best I have ever had! For the entree we had the tacos and the lobster mac they didn't not disappoint. This place provided an accepting atmosphere and the food is beyond wonderful 13/10 recommended to anyone who is in the Fargo area.

I feel compelled to leave a super positive review for Beer and Fish. First, it’s my go to spot for girls night, date night and a yummy lunch. I knew I wanted to host my sister’s bridal shower there and the room near the back was the perfect spot. I couldn’t have been more right! The food I ordered was amazing and perfect for the party, everyone ordered drinks from the little bar in the back room (which went really smoothly for a party of 30), they arranged everything perfectly, and they were so helpful the entire process. When we had a last minute wrench thrown into our plans they accommodated that easily, too. Definitely consider them for your small-medium gatherings or parties! No fee for room, just pay for the yummy food and drinks!

Beer & Fish has been such a fabulous addition to the Downtown Fargo food scene since it opened in 2020. We had the pleasure of eating there last week, and all of us dining were blown away with the quality of the food. The grilled Halibut tacos were delicious and the Dill Clam Chowder was seriously some of the best I've ever had. My wife's walleye was cooked beautifully. The ambiance is clean, hip, and just the right amount of nautical. In the summer when the garage doors are up and the patio is open, Beer & Fish becomes one of the most unique and special dining experiences you can have not only in Fargo but in all of North Dakota.

Stopped in here just for some Oysters. Originally I am from the east coast and enjoyed my fair share of oysters. After moving to northern Minnesota some finer foods I enjoyed became non existent. Being so far away from the coast I had my doubts about a midwest oyster bar but this place did not disappoint. Of course you can not expect the great selection of oysters you get on the coasts but the ones they had were exceptional and the shucker did a fantastic job, not one piece of grit in the entire process ( we had 18) . The presentation was on par with fine dining restaurants and the atmosphere bright an cheery. I may live 4 hours away but will visit at least twice a year. To that there is no doubt.

Do not order chips as your side! We have noticed, on at least a couple of visits so far - it is more salt than potato chips. Go for the French fries instead. Beer selection is limited on the tap with no true lager / pilsner beer actually offered. This place, as many other of lately, has not realized that not all customers are into the IPA, fruity, crafty stuff. Music was too loud to a point we had to scream at each other over the table. The servers were very nice this time around and fish was cooked (fried) properly.

It is fun to have a good fish centered restaurant in the area. The portions are huge, the atmosphere is a perfect Cape Cod decor, they do make excellent martinis( even though our waitress told us they don't often get requests for them). My only disappointment was the very large shrimp was supposed to be lightly breaded. If that was light, I'd hate to see heavy. Not a great taste to the breading either. On an a different visit, the walleye was very good however. Anxious to visit in the summer with the open garage doors, letting in the downtown vibe.

Delicious! Tried Beer & Fish Co., for the first time today. Started with crab cakes and the clam chowder. Had the cod fish and chips for the entree. Everything was made from scratch, including the bread that came with the meal. I'm a big fan of clam chowder and was pleasantly surprised to find this recipe to be full of flavor and slightly different from most restaurants. The fish was thick and extremely fresh and the breading was just right, not too heavy. I'll definitely be back. They also have a cocktail menu and make a group drink, and a virgin lemonade from scratch. Also really enjoyed the large, open space with unique design and decor. It has a Cape Cod feel, and it was nice to see they hadn't gone overboard on a seafood/food theme. They also have several large TVs with the Vikings game on. This would be a good place to watch a game, a nice alternative to all the dark downtown bars. Service was excellent. Attentive but not a nuisance. If you're looking for complaints/cons, my friend wanted the crab cakes and fries to be crisper. And her bloody mary was just ok, a little tart.

Mixed feelings about this place overall, was super pumped to give it a shot, menu selection was good, more than just fish (salad, pasta, burgers), decor was cool. Hostess seemed annoyed to be working and did not come across as friendly, beer menu is not organized, too much bar window seating against the glass garage doors for Fargo which is cold more often than warm. Was definitely not enough room for plates and beer on the bar tables against the windows. Food came at terrible pace, app and then drinks finally, and food immediately next, thus making the space even more cramped with dishes, server never cleared any as we ate either. Food wise I would recommend giving it a shot, might be lacking in the dining experience aside from food though

My wife and I went today for lunch. The food was excellent, but I was disappointed in the value of my meal. My wife ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which was excellent, I ordered the cod fish and chips. What arrived at the table was a plate full of potato chips with two very small pieces of fish. I mean small, one, the size of two fish sticks side by side the other was half that size. Together they were about the size a deck and half of playing cards. I looked down at this and my wife laughs at the look on my face. I thought another piece must be hiding under the potato chips, but that was not the case. We enjoyed the flavor of the meals, and the style of the restaurant, open, airy, decorated wonderfully. Service was neither good or bad, I would say adequate, but I was more than disappointed in the value received for the price paid. Not sure if I would return again.

We went on a weeknight and it wasn't too busy, yet the host was no where to be found. Jared (excellent bartender) noticed we hadn't been helped and seated us. Our server never showed up, although we saw her. Jared saved the day and ended up serving our table. Food and drinks came out quickly after we ordered and everything was great. My husbay had a nice filet of walleye and traditional British chips. I had clam chowder bread bowl and loved everything about it. Had a wonderful meal on Saturday night. Halibut fish and chips, also halibut tacos with the coconut shrimp appetizers. All good. Also felt very comfortable with their covid measures, and had our first meal out without stress!!!! Overall I feel the downtown fargo establishments are doing a much better job with covid measures than the rest of town, which seem to be "business as normal" which we know it's not!!!

Nice chips (not crisps, but english chips). Ordered fish (battered cod) which is the mainstay of english Fish and chips. I was expecting an authentic one-piece battered fish. What I got were two fish fillets in a batter which did not resemble traditional beer batter. It was tasty though, but not proper 'Fish and Chips'. Great atmosphere, beer selection and service. Chip's good, fish - so so. Attached is what real Fish and Chips looks like. Neither the presentation nor the batter recipe were authentic, but this is land-locked Fargo - I can't complain!
