Just moved to St Paul in the last month and we stumbled on Zamboni’s Pizza looking through reviews. We ordered a salad and the Zamboni pizza and it was excellent! Pizza was done exactly how we like it, fresh sausage, pepperoni, lots of great veggies and cheese done well. So happy we found this place, a real treat that is close by.

Absolutely love this hole in the wall place. Very easy to miss this near Xcel Energy Center but we'll worth a visit. From pizza to wings it covers all the bases. My go to here is the chicken garlic bomb!

While in St.Paul for the Wild viewing party, we wanted to grab a bite prior to the game. We stopped into Zambonis and were not disappointed! Not only was the food fantastic but the owner was super nice and working his own store which is always a refreshing site!

We love Zamboni’s! Beyond the great pizza, they have a huge selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. We love the toasted ravioli! The salads have always been very fresh with a good variety of toppings (veggies, cheese, meat) and generous in size. The pizza is thin crust style with gooey cheese and tasty sauce. Our favorites are the Meat Lover’s and the Chicken Florentine. We typically order delivery and delivery is always quick and the drivers are very friendly. Highly recommend Zamboni’s!

Stopped here before a wild game. The food was okay, wasn't too impressed, and for the price I wouldn't come back. Pizza seemed to be missing something flavor wise but good texture. Gyro was better. Probably wouldn't come back.

What a great place to find by accident! We wandered out of the MN Science Museum on a Thursday afternoon looking for lunch and found this to be one of a small handful of places open at 2:45 pm on this particular day. The food was awesome and the folks running the bar & restaurant were super friendly and accommodating for 2 adults & children ages 9 & 12. No kids menu but we all found delicious food in the appropriate quantities. The pizza slice (huge!), chicken strips, bone-in crispy chicken wings (1/2 with fantastic smoky BBQ & 1/2 with a Teriyaki sauce), and spaghetti (with no sauce, just butter & parmesan for a picky child) were all spot on! We all had pop/lemonade but the drink choices at the bar looked solid. We will be back & highly recommend!

Great pizza! Lots of toppings to make your own. Foo Fighter was all the spicy and sweet you could ask for. Will definitely go back and try a different pizza or other menu options. Cute nook of a place with a brick wall and view of outside.

The pepperoni pizza was ok. It reminded me of the frozen Jacks pizza you can buy at the grocery store. The wings were good but took a little longer than I would've hoped. Also the whole place is really dark.

We went on a Saturday night and were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The server gave us the full menu and very pleasant. We ordered and were given a number and had a seat at the bar. The food was excellent and we loved the bar top. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great thin crust pizza in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!

This is one of if not my favorite gyro in town. My daughter had the cheese pizza and it is a safe slice for a fussy kid if you have one. The sauce isn’t overbearing. If you like it zesty it isn’t quite that but don’t take it as a knock on their slice. The fries are great. The last time I had them the rosemary salt was more pronounced. This trip was much less notable. But they come out crispy and not soggy so that’s a bonus. The staff is friendly and I’m never disappointed when I stop here.

My wife got the toasted ravioli which was yummy but a bit expensive at $6 for three of them. The marinara sauce is definitely homemade and awesome. Not sure about the single $ overall as we didn’t order much for our $30! I had a good pizza and cider. Good stuff. Recommend it highly. Don’t expect to get out quickly though as they make it all after you order.

It was my second time coming here today and I was very pleased the first time and even more so this time! To be completely honest, I wasn’t sure the spot would be good, but am I ever glad I tried it out! The food is delicious and they have great bundles and affordable prices. Their fries are heavenly! I also enjoy the fact they have such a wide variety of food on their menu and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Probably my favorite food spot of 7th Street at the moment. I wanted to try something new so I ordered a pizza with meatballs and sauerkraut for the toppings, it was so good (even though it may not sound like it) - they should add it to the menu and call it German Pizza or even Lange’s Pizza!? 🤣

Gar-lick Bomb, Gar-lick Bomb!!! But seriously, had the galic bomb with beef, Soooooo good! There is some grease here so watch out all you weanies. The fries have a seasoned coating, they are awesome... Wings are also excellent, Buffalo style has heat but not too much. Good beer selection. A couple couldn't finish their pizza and gave it to us soooo, thin crust pizza but not like a cracker, still has a good tooth, great sauce and cheese plus the Canadian bacon is awesome! It's a pizza dive in all the good ways.

Love this place! Recommend by a local while visiting. I ordered the Antipasto Salad and it was delicious! Their Italian Dressing was so good I had to go back and order this salad a second time before I left town! The owners are super friendly. I highly recommend if you are in Downtown St Paul you visit this restaurant!

I got Zamboni’s takeout for the first time. It was delicious. I picked it up within 35 minutes of ordering it online. It was crazy hot! We had to wait a good 10-15 minutes for it to cool down. We ordered the 14” meat lovers pizza and I added gyro meat to half of it. The crust was very thin and the toppings were too heavy to get the support needed. The bottom of the crust was on the dark brown side which made it harder but tasted burnt. When I went in to pick up they offered paper plates and napkins (they were actually paper towels.) and the best part was the Parmesan cheese added in the condiment cup. Seems that their takeout packaging would be professionally branded since they are right on 7th st a block from the xcel energy event center. Lots of old hockey memorabilia on the walls of this hallway of a bar and a handful of small dining tables. I bet it gets busy on weekends but tonight on a Monday I was the only one walking in.

My colleagues and I love to order from Zamboni's for lunch. The food always arrives hot and is delicious! My favorite is the Thai pizza and my colleagues have always loved their choices, too. Today we got the chocolate cookies for the first time, and they are absolutely fabulous. The service is excellent, too and I just get a good feeling from the employees that I have talked to. Give this place a try. It is great!

The staff was hands down excellent. Being it my first time they willingly gave me a run down on the menu and even went with their favorite. I love my pizza, when I asked about their pizza I should have read the non verbal communication and his tone. The cook just said eh I like the sandwiches better. I should have gone with those instead. I had the BBQ pizza, the presentation was quite nice. BBQ sauce was good, large chicken chunks, onions, etc, however the taste left something to be desired. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but I caught the hint of chlorine. It was ever so slight, obviously not enough to cause alarm but maybe it was just my taste buds. I'll try them again, mainly because the staff had great customer service. As for the environment, it was nice and quiet, be it was in the afternoon on a weekday, very dark, and only a handful of places to sit down. Not very suitable for families. The price was pretty steep for my liking. $20 for a medium and a coke. Pizza was a thin crust. But again I say the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

Do not overlook this place!! Literally a hidden gem! Some of the coldest beer I've ever had and the food is fantastic. We got their beef garlic bomb sandwich which is like a spicy Philly with some mouth drooling seasoning. I forgot to take a photo because it smelled so good and I was done with my sandwich before even thinking of documenting it. The staff is superb, awesome service especially when you aren't sure what you want. 10/10

About to eat some leftover Zambonis. This pizza is ridiculously good. I don’t even know where to start. The crust? Perfect. The sauce? Party in your mouth!!! While the Italian Blonde is Phenom all on its own, I was feeling some add-ons today. Photo is of Italian Blonde with artichoke, spinach and roasted mushroom. Seriously...THE BEST PIZZA EVER. If you’re attending an outstanding event at the Xcel and you eat at Zambonis? Your Zamboni pizza will be in the top two take-aways of the night. And the rosemary?? Let me stop.

My favorite place in downtown St. Paul! We have season tickets at the Ordway, and my daughter and I go here before shows. Pizzas are homemade and great - especially the Meat Lovers. Caesar Salad is excellent, wings are also excellent! Staff is friendly and helpful. There isn't a lot of seating, but that is what makes it cozy. They now have expanded bar selections, so that's nice too. Definitley recommend!

I only buy their lamb gyros, these are a hit or miss. In reality, they should always be a HIT! Today I picked up my order, it was made right, but on occasion little pieces of the lamb meat has been bone hard. Not chewable. Feels like the meat may not be fresh or has bones in it. This is throughout the whole sandwich, making eating it not very enjoyable.

Had to order thru Grub Hub and the cost of wings and medium pizza became much more expensive than I thought it would be. It was very frigid and snowing outside and I had no transportation or groceries, so I went thru with the transaction. The food was good, but became cool during the GrubHub drive.

Probably the best place for thin crust pizza in St Paul. Their sausage pizza with olive oil and no tomato sauce is amazing, and their fries are always crispy (they fry them directly from frozen). Don't expect "healthy" kinds of pizza. This is traditional take-out pizza, that's just way better than the stuff you can get from chain stores.

Love the food!! The pizzas are always amazing and the mushroom fingers are the best twist on deep fried mushrooms and the sauce they come with is nothing you want to miss. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is every time I’ve ordered from them any day of the week the wait time is generally 90 minutes to 2 hours for delivery. If you want delivery you better plan ahead. Won’t stop me from ordering tho.

So. I visited St. Paul and stumbled upon one of the BEST sandwiches of my life at this local grub hub. The owner is top notch very friendly and helpful. If anyone is in the area and wanting to try a delicious sandwich stop here and get a Garlic bomb. They come in 3 different combinations steak chicken or turkey. I decided on the steak and so happy I did.

2022 update: I've been here almost every time I've seen the Wild for a few years now. Always amazing! Simply cannot recommend enough. I still can't believe how good the value is for how good the food is. Original review: Amazing NY style pizza and beers for a fraction of what you pay just a block away inside Xcel. A slice and a tall boy costs the same as one beer in the arena . Best pre game meal ever! FYI, the slices are very generous. And they come out hot! Watch the roof of your mouth on the first bites!

I love this place. The best thin crust pizza ever. The margarita pizza is fantastic. Great place before or after an event at the Xcel center. It is small just a few tables. Great selection of beers on tap, bottles and cans. The have a very good steak and cheese sandwich too.

Ordered gyros and they were the best I've ever tasted--and I've traveled many places in the military. Just, incredible. My sons ordered a burger and wings, absolutely wonderful. My wife couldn't stop raving about her gyro and rosemary fries. Rosemary fries...why doesn't anyone else do this?! The cook here is simply incredible and the service was warm and friendly. Go here. Now. Like, stop reading reviews to figure out whether this place is worth it. It's worth it.

Absolutely amazing pizza! I'm gluten free and wasn't quite sure what to expect since gluten free Italian crusts/pastas/etc can be hit or miss but this was such a good experience. We even called to check to make sure the pizza was actually made with gf crust it was so good!! Would definitely go back; they offer dine in, take out, delivery, etc.

They had really good gluten free pizza, but it could only be ordered in a small pizza size (enough to feed about 2 people or 1 really hungry person). There is an up-charge to make it gluten free, which is normal (but still disappointing). The atmosphere is nice, but the place was extremely crowded because of the concert across the street. Wait time for the food was a little long, but with making a whole new pizza, it makes sense.

Homey little hole in the wall. Nice staff. It is a warm comfy atmosphere. Gyro sandwiches are excellent. Cold draft beer too. Prices better than most of St. Paul. Not romantic but earthy. Great little district. If you visit the James J. Hill Mansion, this is a good pit stop for lunch. Small, quaint and welcoming.

If you want a great selection of local beer, outstanding service that offers unique and tasty pizza choices this is the place to go. They also have sandwhiches. Great atmosphere, soft playing music, NOT overly loud making it enjoyable to sit, eat and drink and just relax. I just can't say enough about the pizza it is truly PERFECTION at its best with fresh ingredients and so many many choices. Joe is an amazing server and very tentative to your needs. Great food, great service! I get delivery all the time. Always delivered quickly by friendly drivers. Sometimes they're crazy busy and that can drive up wait times, but it's worth it. Gyros and burgers are solid, and I looooove the onion rings!

It's a small homey place. Although tight there was still enough seating for our group of 4. The service was quick and the pizza was hot!! The slices are large and worth the price you pay. Very close to the Xcel Energy Center and alot cheaper than what you'd pay for food inside the center.

The pizza here is very tasty, and right before a Wild game its even more amazing! Also I've got to mention the service...even though the waitress was obviously flustered with the new computer system and it being very busy she was still able to take our order, and we got served within minutes.

Being from out of town, we were torn between eating here, Black Sheep or Punch. We chose here based on distance and ordered the Zamboni. Nothing amazing about it but also not a bad pizza. Because no pizza is really bad pizza. There just wasn’t really a wow factor to it which is why I give it three stars. Small inside but staff was friendly.

A hidden gem. My SO swears their pizza is better than Cosettas down the street. I've had their gluten free crust and it was pretty impressive, especially for the price. I'm not sure their cross-contamination practices are top notch, but I didn't have a reaction. Great location, fast service, quiet spot. Try it!

Just so you know what you're getting, this more of a counter serve place and less of a traditional sit down. Yes, there are a few tables in back (and its dark, just the way I like it). But it is more casual vibe. On to the pizza, its pretty good, not life changing.

I gotta tell you, when they said they were short staffed for the Memorial Day weekend, I didn't think the owner would be the one showing up to deliver my pizza. Sure enough, there she was, bringing me some of the best pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings in St. Paul. Thanks, guys. You made a rainy Saturday afternoon so much better. Zamboni's FTW!

The food at Zamboni's is OFF THE CHAIN!! The pizza crust is thin; both moist and crispy. We especially like the WIIBS special - wings and meaty beef ribs. We really like our delivery driver too. Great customer service but can't believe he makes money. He drives an OLD Silverado. Busy during events but be patient. It''s always worth the wait!

As WILD season ticket holders we are in St Paul alot. Zambonis's is hands down our go to for food. We eat here before like, every game. We bring friends and family and everyone loves it! Their food is stellar (especially their steak garlic bomb. It's just out of this world delicious). Stayed at a nearby hotel for a few days and tried a few of the other area restaurants but kept going back to Zamboni’s. The food was the best on the street as well as the service. I'm so Angry I've gone by this place so many times without going in! The Garlic Mayo... That alone will bring me back, then Fanta in the bottle, and the people there were Super Rad and helpful, some tasty beers, I haven't even tried the pizza yet cuz I was too stuffed on those insanely good fries and a hoagie worth raving about!
