Reviews of World Street Kitchen
We had been meaning to try this for awhile and we’re very glad we did. The ordering process was easy, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. Unique menu items are great to have, but sometimes hard to pull off….but here they nailed it with the flavor on both of our orders. Unique cocktails and reasonable beer selection made it even better. We’ll definitely be back.
choices. So I recommend checking the menu out before you come... but I promise it will be delish! We tried the guac, chicken sandwich, and Mexican steak burger. Perfect blends of spice and flavor.
The prices are what I call food truck prices, so I wouldn't come here regularly. But we will definitely be back!
I appreciate the effort in trying different combinations of parts of different cusines. Some work, some don't, but again it is something different to try. The hummus is excellent. Wraps are so-so, sandwiches are... interesting. I would definitely come back to try other stuff, but it is very much a hit or miss. Service is fast, I have always been able to get a table here. Good area. I like it overall.
Although my dish was way too spicy for me, I can’t fault the restaurant. You order through a QR code and the food comes out fairly quickly. It’s a fun atmosphere and it’s directly connected to ice cream for dessert!
Tons of fun options on the menu so there are a variety of genres to choose from.
I don’t usually write reviews, but the Mexican steak burger here is definitely ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD and this is not an exaggeration! The bun was perfectly soft yet crispy and buttery. The steak paired with grilled onions, avocado, a fried egg, cheese, and the adobo sauce was to DIE FOR. I will definitely be coming back! The Korean burrito was all right, but I will give 5 stars because the burger was amazing!
What a wonderful business concept!
We loved being able to enter the restaurant and order at our measure through the QR code on the table. The food and margarita was great!
We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts most of all. The atmosphere was great for lunch or a casual dinner. We will definitely return to enjoy this place again!
I had the Korea short rib rice bowl and the margarita. Both outstanding! Delicious and flavorful for a fair price. Food came out less than 10 minutes after ordering. Will definitely be back.
You ever go to a place oh this is just another fast food spot? Look at the menu and say oh it sounds good but you know it's whatever?
Well that's not World Street Kitchen. The menu is small and very interesting. WSK is in a class of its own. We ordered the Korean 'BBQ' Beef Hummus Bowl, Korean "BBQ" Beef Short Ribs Bangkok Burrito, MFC Biscuit, Crispy Fish, and shared dish of Caramelized Brussels Sprouts. Let me tell you the flavors were simply amazing. The dishes were better than 5 star restaurants I've eaten across the US. WSK dishes have the the type of flavors that stay with you in the great way. The flavor of all the dishes stay with you wanting to come back later wanting more.
I can not compare WSK to any restaurant I've been too in the Midwest. They're making it hard for me to want to try other places. I'm literally sitting in a very popular restaurant in St. Paul having a meal I would have ranked 5 stars thinking about the food at WSK. I feel like I'm cheating, maybe I need to go back over and grab a sandwich on the way home.
Honestly WSK will ruin it for all your favorite restaurant. The combination of flavors will blow your mind.
Update: Android users download there app to order. Barcode on table does not work well with new android phones.
I mean come on. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and it should be yours too. Street food from around the world? Yes please. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Service has always been on point for me, whether dining-in or ordering delivery. Food is high quality, the operation is well-run, and there’s dessert next door. WSK has me coming back again and again for good reason.
Muy Delicioso 🤤…
The smell of the savory dishes got me feeling some type of way. We had the yum yum chicken bowl.
COVID protocol without server interaction feels a bit odd, utilizing the QR code to scan and order. Call me old fashioned but I like the interaction.
Definitely check it out, this place is always bussin.
Had a great meal here by myself. Loved the self-guided ordering process. I had the beef rice bowl and it was excellence. Lots of food for the price.
Very friendly and casual place for a quite informal dinner/lunch date. Their menu is limited but those limited options are all very delicious. One advantage is that you can eat bite here and walk next door for dessert.
Date Night Ride and Explore kind of night!!
We had their ice cream first!! Delicious MilkJam Creamery!
Decided to walk next door and we ordered (Beef short ribs croquet, Brussel sprouts and the Koren BBQ beef short rib burrito!!
I would honestly order everything again!! The Brussel sprouts has so many explosive flavors!! THEE BEST
My husband enjoyed the burrito!!
Ordered the Korean beef burrito and salted chocolate cookie. Burrito was super flavorful just wished jt had been mixed up a bit. Towards the end I was getting all rice. The cookie was MASSIVE (size of my hand) and pretty thin. I didn’t finish the whole thing as the burrito filled me up, so after the cookie sat a while it became pretty hard almost like a toffee.
This was an average experience. The slow cooked lamb yum yum rice bowl was mostly white rice. So for $17 I was underwhelmed. The flavors were there but the lamb was minimal, broccoli was overdone (not fresh). You can see from the photo that cilantro and crushed peanuts were prevalent (lamb barely noticeable, and 3 very small pieces of broccoli) with about 2 inches of white rice underneath. We also had bbq beef short rib lettuce wraps. Here I was disappointed by the fact that we were given half an iceberg lettuce head as opposed to “wrapping” leaves. The service was good - very friendly. I just simply was not overly excited by the meal just as it seemed the chef is not overly excited about what he/she was sending out to the diners.
I am not going to give it lower than 3 stars because the rest of their menu looks pretty good but I have to push back heavily on the Red Curry Burrito. This was one of the worst things I have ever had the misfortune of eating in my life. These guys skimped heavily on the meat, with the burrito being composed of at least 80% rice. Halfway through I just tore into the burrito to see if there was any chicken at all and found literally none! Meat is a foundational aspect of any good burrito, and rice is one of the most useless fillings that restaurants use to give off an illusion of large portions. If chipotle can get the proportions right so should World street kitchen. But yeah I am heavily disappointed, and I have given this item multiple chances (have ordered about 3 from the restaurant) hoping it would be just a one time thing. That being said some of the other dishes on the menu do look pretty solid such as the Korean short rib. I recommend giving the restaurant a try but just avoid the burritos :)
It was recommended by one of our residents and I got excited to try it. I took my mom and my 2 year old son. We ordered 3 items ( Short ribs rice bowl for my mom, rice and short ribs for my son and lettuce and bulgogi mushroom for me) and all of them were salty. We didn’t even finished our food. It was disappointing. But, water was refreshing though😂
Love this place! The Brussel Sprouts are my favorite, and the green curry burrito is amazing.
Star Tribune 40 Iconic Eats - Yum Yum Rice Bowl. First visit, tried it with the daily special (Hanoi fish). Fish was light and flaky, with a hint of lemon and spice. Great combination of flavors, and all of the veggies in the mix were veggies that I like. Went back a second time and tried the brussels sprouts (excellent) and the Moroccan Fried Chicken (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a delicious and unique blend of spices. I also had a lovely cocktail with edible flower petals. I spent $40 for appetizer, cocktail, and sandwich, but that includes the tip - I felt like it was a great deal and deserves its spot on the 40 Iconic Eats list.
Very good place to eat. They are good with following COVID Safe Guidance, so there's no indoor dinning but outdoor tables are available. I had the Falafel Burger and it was tasty, filling and very good priced. I would eat here again if driving through this area.
I can’t say enough about this place. My wife has always raved about it and when I finally tried it……I saw what the hype was about. Fresh, delicious and packed full of flavor. This is a place you will still be talking about the next day. I highly recommend.
Good food. Lots of flavor. Korean bulgogi bowl was great flavor. Could use more vegetables to balance out the rich flavors. Mexican steak burger was good. Prices are a little high. Nice staff and ambiance. Would recommend.
A classic spot in Uptown; you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Delicious food with tons of variety and cute restaurant. Prices are a little higher than you'll expect if you've never been, but it is always good enough to justify. Highly recommend!
First, service here is outstanding. Greeted immediately with a smile and instructions for ordering, everyone bustling around to help. Kitchen appeared spotless. On our visit, you find an open table, scan the QR code, pay, and wait for your food to be delivered. There is a modest service fee that allows management to fairly compensate all staff, both front and back of house. Food delectable and well-portioned. Would absolutely return!
Absolutely delicious food! The flavors are amazing and I’ve never been disappointed no matter what I get. Ordering is easy and it comes quickly. Staff are friendly. It’s always clean here. Has cute decor.
I love the MFC Biscuit and had the opportunity to share the place with my brother. We ordered and got to talking and then realized the food should have been there already. I brought it up to the server and they were super apologetic and super generous in making up for it. If I didn’t think they had great service before, I have more than enough evidence now. Do not pass go. Get the peanut butter curry pretzel cookie and a pint of Ridin’ Duuurty ice cream too.
Jerk chicken and red curry burritos, a sweet burrito cocktail combo, the oh so incredible Milkjam next door, what more do you need?! Fantastic, unique flavors and foods, such friendly people, great vibes like this never tasted so good
Service was really fast. Food was just okay.
I ordered the Korean BBQ bowl since I am Korean and it interested me. It was alright apart from some things. The kimchi was overly fermented and the short ribs had a really strong ginger taste. Wouldn't of been too bad had there been spinach or mung bean sprouts to balance out the flavors and texture. Instead the bowl had a mushy texture and the aforementioned flavors that just stood out way too strongly. I'm giving them 3 stars, however, because the service was excellent, the place was super clean, and the food was plated well.
Kind of eclectic menu, and one star off only because too many of the dishes are quite spicy (which is fine by me, but not with my kids). Great staff, fine decor, good food, and attached to an ice cream shop (take off the burn).
I've never been a fan of fusion foods, but this place nails it! I had the Korean ribs Bangkok Burrito and it was amazing. The "special sauce" was flavorful and gave the fried rice a savory tang. The ribs portioning was generous, finely shredded, and had a rich Korean BBQ flavor. If you like some heat, don't forget to add the house made hot sauces, which are uniquely hot and delicious.
Give this place a try and you'll be coming back for more!
I’m generally a fan of fusion foods and this place hits the spot. Nice mix of ethnic flavors and I also really dig the chill and lively ambiance too. It also was a nice bonus that it’s next door to Milkjam, so my friends and I could grab dessert right after or dinner!
Fabulous food ,but too expensive for my family.
My family of five (wife) and three boys have eaten here on numerous occasions. However, it’s been about 4-6 months since we’ve eaten here. Today- 6/27/2022, I took my three boys to eat here for lunch. They have a new business model where you scan a QR code at the table you want to sit at. We wanted to dine in, but no more counter service orders. Bummer. Oh well, minor annoyance. So my son and I ordered 2 Yum Yum bowls, 2 kids meals, and an appetizer of Hummus. I calculated $56. However, the online cart showed $71! Huh?! I asked an employee to see if it was a mistake, but he said there was a living wage charge. I get it. Workers should be adequately paid for their services. However, I also have a choice to pay with my money. We left the restaurant without ordering. $56-$60, I can spend for lunch, but $71?! Sorry, I’m not that wealthy. As my 13-year old son said, “Dad, we can buy snow crab at Coastal Seafood and eat like Kings for that much money”
Other than value, the food itself is fabulous! The owners are super kind as well as the staff. I just feel bad I have to write a negative review. If my wife would have come, our bill would have been about $100.
I honestly hope they do well, but I will not be taking my family there anytime soon.
The primarily Asian-style, flavorful food here is served quickly and at affordable prices. This is a good place to eat if you're looking to have a lower carb meal.
Honestly some of the most unique and delicious food in the city. It's a very laid back and casual spot. Get the Korean BBQ yum yum bowl or burrito. Lamb belly tacos are great, they usually have 1 special going like today was fish tacos. I wasn't overly impressed with the guacamole but after 20+ visits, I'll keep coming back.
Food was good, but I take issue with the "service charge" that was mandatory on the bill. If I order with a qr code, you don't get to charge me the same as I would normally tip a waiter/waitress. That is the whole advantage of the qr code to the customer. You don't get to just eliminate the need for the job and then charge the customer for it anyway. I will not be coming back until this underhanded practice is eliminated.
Fresh and flavorful food!! Love the menu, they have a little bit of everything! If you are feeling Korean short ribs, but maybe your friend wants shawarma, come here for the variety! You won’t be disappointed.
I have only ever gotten take-out from WSK, but I have been impressed every time! Delicious food -- I'm always excited to try something new.
First things first, it pains me to give WSK a 3 star review however I felt that I should disclose my experiences.
The food is excellent, the Korean bbq beef is incredible and I have had it upwards of 30 times from their food truck and restaurant.
I have been going to WSK for 5 years and have loved every time. I then moved to Chicago and was in town after a year and wanted to bring my girl friend. When I sat down they told me to order the food through a QR code on my phone, I thought this self service idea was cool. Only to realize they added a 17% surcharge on every meal.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I am all for supporting your staff and understand the price on goods has gone up greatly. However, WSK is a self service restaurant, you get your water yourself from a jug, you order from your table by your self, etc. on top of that they hide the fee on a drop down from the QR scanned order menu, so you only see the total. That in and of itself is unethical and the surcharge should be disclosed accordingly.
Advice to management: reflect the increase in costs in your food prices and make a 17% forced fee known. Don’t try and hide costs from your customers. You just lost a loyal customer and I hope you will adjust this as I love your food.
Had a quick stop in Minneapolis for a night and came here with my fiancée for dinner. Had the sangria, lamb belly tacos and beef lettuce wraps. The food was average at best. I found the glass of sangria to be overpriced and didn’t really taste like a sangria to begin with. Service was pretty good and they were nice to give us thorough explanations on the food we were ordering.
The Tofu Rice Bowl was necessary for lunch while on an all-day bike hike. Had everything this brown body needed-- AND it tasted good. My friend and i both got one. Also, the service staff were nice and super smiley, despite a full house going on. I'll be coming back to WSK, for sure.
Cheers.
Absolutely in love with this place! The Moroccan fried chicken biscuit sandwich is one of the best dishes available in Uptown and will always be a favorite of mine. I can't recommend it enough!
Great food. I have been here a couple times now and everytime I come it is awesome! Great place, excellent service and fantastic food!
The inside of this place is very casual and the menu isn't huge, but the food is very good. My favorite is the Tofu yum yum bowl. They also seem to be pretty good at keeping track of allergens and stuff like that. A great spot to grab a quick bite!
It's very good! Unique options, good flavor. Casual. I have and again would go back!
Went on a Sunday at 11 and it wasn't busy at all. My group got the bulgogi rice bowl, meatball bowl and the bulgogi lettuce wraps. The wraps were a nice, lighter take on their bowls and burritos. The bulgogi was a little on the sweet side but the kimchi was delicious. The people that got the bowls said it was a oversauced which led to the whole dish being heavy and very salty. They did still enjoy it overall. For the price and quantity, overall a pretty good experience.
Nice place to hang out and eat good food, staff made us feel welcome and were happy to explain the various cuisines they had available. Highly recommend!
The prices have hiked a bit for this place. I was always having WSK for lunch when their food truck was in downtown. I decided to go in for a Korean bbq bowl and I had to use their app to order. It required an account and an automatic 17% gratuity charge. So it was $21 for the bowl.
I seriously love this epic Arab and Korean fusion bowl of deliciousness. House made kimchi is heavenly. The seating is so cozy. I hope WSK opens up more branches soon.
Brunch -a special treat - ordered the Southside. The potatoes were just frozen hash browns, not peeled and cooked there. The lamb was supposed to be carmelized but it was in reality burned. The special sauce was good. Interested meal but it lacked details of execution.
The fried fish with sesame bun - sandwich is to die for. As a vegetarian, who eats fish now and then, I love this place for eating out, but yet getting a nutritious meal.
Ordering had moved to doing it on the table over your phone and the only server interaction you have is when they bring your food.
Would not recommend for a formal dinner, but for a fast casual choice I would always come back here.
What a wonderful experience WSK provided for our group of 20. We sat outside and had a mix of apps and small plates. Service through qr code was seem less. Staff extremely friendly and fast. I'd suggest some ice cream from next door that you can also order to your table qr code. Spot on.
This place has a trendy atmosphere and attracts those kind of patrons. Probably not the best place for kids, though kids are welcome and they have high chairs. The food is very good and plates are appealing to the eye. World Street Kitchen has won several awards and is popular in the neighborhood. There menu has many gluten-free and vegetarian options. While there is parking, it can be difficult to find open spaces because of the popularity of WSK. WSK is nextdoor to Milkjam Creamery, which works well for anyone wanting ice cream after lunch or dinner. You can even order for to go from WSK and have them hand it to you in the creamery.
I mean. Its ok. I personally think they are doing too much without backing it up. Their brand revolves around unique and bold versions of street classics, but they generally fail to capture what makes those classics so delicious. I've had most of their fairly small menu, and every time I was left feeling just generally unhappy. I think i would be more inclined to accept the bold new takes and flavor profiles if the ingredients tasted fresher, or if the flavors used didn't seem intentionally confusing to eat. I think it's good food, maybe even well cooked and presented, but in my opinion they should calm down, do less, and do it better.
Friendly people, fast service and tasty fusion food options! Yum yum bowl is aptly named.. The place is very crowded when we went there which tells how popular it is. Good place to catch up with friends but it can be noisy if you go there for a business lunch or dinner..
Love this place for take out. The borritos, asian inspired bowls, sandwiches are all hits. I live about a couple blocks away and never leave disappointed. As a korean it is odd they charge kimchi separately but I can attest it is quite tasty and has great flavor which is tough to come by in MN at times.
I’ve only ordered (dine in pre pandemic and post) for years, the red curry burrito - 10/10 recommend. It’s not spicy to me as someone who grew up eating Hmong papaya salad (less than 1 chili spiciness for the burrito). But it’s packed with flavor that is layered and not a one note type of curry burrito.
Additionally I had the fish sandwich for the first time and 8/10 recommend due to the lack in salt and fatty sauce. I ordered delivery for the fish sandwich and it came hot and crunchy. It didn’t “smell” too much like the sea, but def needed more salt, mayo and would’ve appreciated a lemon wedge. The cabbage slaw was bland in general, and could be more vinaigrette-ish, but the fish wasn’t dry - just more seasonings were needed for this sandwich.
try the short ribs they are awesome, totally worth it!
Best fish sandwich and chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Diversity of rich, punchy flavors.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Eating the Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl. Very good. Highly recommend visiting here if in Minneapolis.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. The music was pretty loud which was a little annoying. It also seems like the prices are going up. The food is great, so maybe it's worth it, but paying 20 bucks for lettuce wrap and a coke (with tip and tax), makes it feel less like "Street food" and on the road to an expensive dining experience. I added a star because I like It's proximity to milk jam and love their ice cream.
Staff is always super nice and the restaurant is clean.
Quick casual and cheap, we loved the rice bowls, especially the Korean beef and the crispy tofu!
The BBQ Beef Bangkok Burrito arrived within 40 minutes of placing the order. The delivery was smooth and accurate. As we opened the bag, we noticed that they were still hot and sealed well.
However, upon opening the burrito we noticed they were not cut. Once the burrito was cut the presentation was nice. The ingredients were evenly distributed, unlike some other restaurants. Unfortunately, there were a lot of green sweet peas, so if you don’t like them this may not be the burrito for you. The meat had a sweet flavor and was throughly seasoned. The rice was perfectly cooked. However, there was minimal secret sauce on my burrito which was a nice contrast to the sweet flavor. Overall, we would we recommend.
The Red Chicken Curry Bangkok Burrito also arrived hot. After cutting into this one the presentation was also nice. Upon further investigation we noticed the dreadful sweet peas lurking in the distance. After picking them off, we were unpleasantly surprised by the lack of flavor in the sauce although the rice and chicken were cooked well. Overall we would recommend both burritos if you are in the area and want something a little different!
I love the Bangkok burrito and the environment that this place brings. The staff is always friendly and prompt. My only grievance would be the tiny parking lot and not being able to get in and out efficiently for a quick bite.
I love stopping into WSK for a quick dinner. I'm vegan and I always get the Bangkok burrito.
WSK is the type of place you dream about when you’re not nearby and crave all the time. The Korean BBQ beef yum yum rice bowl is probably my favorite meal from anyway of all time. Awesome food, quick and friendly service, easy takeout - WSK is your new comfort food for every situation.
I love the Korean beef bbq short ribs yum yum bowl ! I’m sure everything on the menu is amazing, but I just can’t not order thissss
I usually always get the Korean Yum Yum Bowl, and it’s amazing every time. I love the curbside pick up, they’re always in good moods. I also love milk jam. Anyways, I love their food- bring back that one sandwich that you used to have a few years back - I forget what it was called..
I am a big fan of this place. I have had lots of the burritos and yum yum bowls and they are all great. Would have left 5 stars but there isn’t much for appetizers (other than hummus). Stellar staff, just needs a spring roll or something because the portions aren’t that big
I am obsessed with World Street Kitchen and get it delivered at least 2-3 times a month. I always get the yum yum korean BBQ rice bowl and it’s amazing every time. It’s also connected with MilkJam so it’s fun to visit in person. I can’t recommend WSK enough!
Bangkok burrito with Korean BBQ lived up to ALL the hype! So delicious and flavorful! Also ordered the Yum Yum bowl with Korean BBQ and was just as satisfied! I would come back to Minneapolis just for this place! Service was excellent and very professional. Hopefully we can dine in the next time we’re in town!
Food is great but I hate ordering from my phone when I'm there in person. The first order went through fine, but I couldn't check out on my second order so someone had to take my order. I'm old and my phone is small and it's too loud in there...but the food is good and the staff is pleasant, so I'lll be back.
Fantastic! You have to get the Korean bbq bowl it’s incredible!
I ordered it through Postmates last night for the first time and guess what? I ordered it again this morning for lunch. The Korean BBQ beef bowl was so good. All the flavors are so bold and it's a fun menu to order from! The curry chicken burrito was good, not life changing, but would order again. This place is amazing!
I really enjoy World Street Kitchen, their crispy tofu bowl is a favorite! Their customer service is excellent too. I just had a delivery issue and they sorted it out so quickly and seamlessly, even including an extra treat for the trouble. A+ for a restaurant with great, quick service.
Delicious food, reasonable price, nice place, music was a bit loud for intimate conversation but elsewise great place. Try the crispy lamb yum yum bowl.
Food is good. Execution is hit or miss. Just don't order the burritos. They skimp hard on the meat. I find it pretty unacceptable for an establishment to charge $12 for a small burrito and then stuff 95% of it with rice.
FANTA IN A BOTTLE!! Lamb belly yum yum bowl is amazing!! As are the lemongrass meatballs! Many gluten free options! And again....FANTA IN A BOTTLE!!!
This is my first time dining in but have done delivery and curbside many times. I love this place! I love the guacamole app, bbq beef burrito, and bbq beef yum yum bowl!
Fun, creative food in a great space. MFC Biscuit Sandwich is a go to. The bowls are always giant.
Love the Korean BBQ beef Yum bowl i always get extra beef..but this time they forgot my egg😒 …
Loved the chicken bowl, and my daughter liked the quesadilla. Having ice cream next door is a nice touch too.
Happy hour here makes for affordable beers and apps. Good prices for tasty food. Friendly service, and the food came out pretty quickly.
yummy stuff here! great job on the bbq
I love this place. Their burritos are banging, the guac is rocking, the cakes are, by definition, baked. Definitely try the crispy tofu burrito, it's my favorite. They're directly connected with milkjam too, so if you're craving ice cream, you're in luck.
This is a walk up and order and they bring you the food kind of place. The food came quick and it was so good!!! We got the Bangkok burritos with tofu and shared the Turkish Hummus. We thoroughly enjoyed both things and will definitely be coming back for more!
Great variety of world food options, picked up the Korean beef bowl and burrito, the chicken sandwich and curry burrito. My family loved it. Finished with a delicious scoop of Thai iced tea ice cream for dessert! 👌 …
This was my 1st time trying WSK. Everything was pretty good. I had the MFC biscuit sandwich. I'm not a fan of onions or scallions. But with the delicious flavors of the Moroccan chicken and spicy feta spread, I couldn't even tell there were scallions in the cheddar biscuit. Will definitely visit again in the future.
I’ve never left a review before but this place demands a review. They delivered the best food I’ve eaten in a year......during the pandemic. The ice cream is 11$ a pint and I’d probably pay double. Phenomenal. The menu is original but in a GOOD way. The guac has pickled onions!! Absolute geniuses. I mean really phenomenal food I’ll be BACK <3
I had the Korean BBQ bowl and it was really good but a little salty for me - I think it had a little too much added sauce. My husband had the Korean BBQ burrito and it was delicious! The fried cauliflower (on special) was amazing. We will definitely go again.
Great food, my favorite are the rice bowls (I’ve had all of them and there’s no way I could choose a favorite—they’re all excellent!). The red curry chicken burrito is also great. While I like dining in, lately I’ve been ordering through their app or through Postmates and the food always arrives within 30 minutes. Of course the advantage to dining in is being able to wander next door and get ice cream afterward!
Decided to head out for a late night dinner with my cousin and this was the perfect spot! Great atmosphere with a hip vibe. All the staff was friendly and the food was amazing. We decided to share the Caramelized Lamb Belly Yum Yum Rice Bowl and it was divine! I ordered a red sangria and my cousin ordered the Raspberry Shandy. Both great drinks! After the meal, we couldn't resist but get their Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sundae. It was sweet, but satisfying. I would definitely be back again!
World Street kitchen was an unknown restaurant for me. I thought, coming from Los Angeles, I knew all about fusion and the different ways that you can make tacos and rice balls and sweet onions and falafel‘s-but I was wrong! I love this place, it’s my new go to place! I purchased a lemon-grass, meatball, rice bowl with all the herbs plus Brussels with caramelized onion and rice powder. I ran an errand and came back two hours later and ordered the same thing so that my family could try it when I got home. I am adamant about five stars, I just couldn’t find a trash can inside. This place is fabulous and everybody must go!
I had a bogus delivery from Bite squad. I went to the restaurant to speak to the manager about it. Her name was Ashley I believe. She was unbelievably gracious and understanding. She helped me with my issue. She was kind and compassionate. And renewed my meal. And added a cookie. And on top of that the food was delicious. I will be visiting again. Love this place. Please just try it out. It’s great!
There are many options, and all taste fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable too-- great for a date night or stopping by quickly. Very filling for low to medium cost. My favorite dishes: vegan tofu rice bowl, vegan tofu burrito. Also love the mango sorbet they have-- they put crunchy things on it.
food was amazing, come and get it this stuff is amazing!
I first discovered their food at a food truck festival. Everyone I was with agreed it was the best thing we had eaten that day, so we went on a mission to find it again. We we're ecstatic when we found it had a restaurant location. They have a great selection of food. We try something new every time we go and have never been disappointed. We also have a few vegan friends, and they have some good options for them. Definitely would recommend!
I've probably been here 2 dozen times in the past couple years. Really great place, even for vegetarians. I cannot recommend WSK enough. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! The ice cream spot next door doesn't hurt either.
Loved my food here, and even my not so adventurous family had a good time and loved their food!
Instant favorite. This food is tasty AF. Highly recommend the "Korean BBQ Beef Short Ribs" Yum Yum Rice Bowl, it's _amazing_. Same goes for the BBQ Beef lettuce wraps. The Blinged Out guac and both hummus apps are all delish too!
Excellent food with unique flavors that keeps you coming back. And a great way to get desert right next door at Milkjam.
Dollar for dollar the best place to eat in the Twin Cities. We order takeout often and are always blown away at how delicious the food is.
This place has the most consistently good food in Minneapolis. Everything is well done every time I order it, and now it is one of the few places in uptown to get takeout after 8:00PM. For vegetarians, the tofu burritos are the best vegetarian burrito in Minneapolis. The fallafel burger is amazing and vegan, too.
Great food. Fast. Service was good. The reg person was on their phone during order taking though.
Really good fast casual, fast food place. I had the yum yum bowl with chicken and it was very good, not greasy at all and lots of flavor. I loved the sticky rice in there. The atmosphere is like an upscale fast food place, but great spot to grab a quick bite to eat or take-out.
So tasty, and great service even curbside! When I pulled up, since they ask for car make and model, they were out the door with my order hot and delicious. The employee delivering my food had great manners and was wearing suitable mask and gloves. Will be back again soon, and many times afterwards
This place is seriously amazing! They have such a unique menu and really interesting flavor combinations. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is great, especially the red curry burrito :)
YUM!!! This is an hour drive for me so I've only been here twice but it is worth every minute of my drive. The food is delicious, prices are reasonable and you get get service. I am gulten free and they cater very easily to that (a d other allergies plus vegan/Vegetarian) with signs on the menu along with the staff knowledgeable about substitutions. They are also right next door to milk jam which we always end the night with. Wish this place was closer to me!
Kind of disappointed by the size of our $10 burrito. We come here all the time and it’s usually 1.5 this size. Still gave them four stars becuase once I told the issue they sent a coupon right away.(food still tasted great)
This restaurant is God's gift to earth. I moved away and miss it dearly. The schwarma tacos and the kbbq yum yum bowl are my go-tos. The house made kimchi is also fantastic.
I've been eating lunch here 1-3 times a week for 3 YEARS! Beef short rib bowl every time. I've tried other things that are good but Korean beef bowl is still my favorite. OG chicken bowl is good. Tofu bowl is good. Pork bowl is good. Friend loves the meatballs. Beef burrito could use a little more sauce. Bowls always!
Was visiting out of town, ordered there Bangkok burrito, with exception of just regular chicken instead of curry chicken. Got my order, took a bite and red curry chicken, mentioned it to the staff and without hesitation brought me there supervisor (Alea ). She immediately apologized for the issue and took it upon herself to to correct it. Hands down, awesome food, but even more outstanding staff and leadership. Will come back.
Quick GREAT food. Ordered online and did curbside seamlessly. Recommend the red chicken curry burrito and grilled chick yum yum bowl.
Loved the food truck and love the spot. I'm always in for the Bangkok burrito and the Yum Yum bowl is pretty much perfect food in a bowl (get the chicken one and add a side of beef.) Plus side is the owner is awesome and also runs the great ice cream shop next door.
Very good short rib and Mexican steak burger. We did take out because the place was busy. The tofu/rice kids meal came with no sauce? This made his meal pretty dry. Take out wait wasn't too bad considering it was busy, so we waited maybe 20 mins. I would recommend and try a different kids meal.
World Street Kitchen is one of those spots that you know will be consistently awesome day in and day out. Great, crazy flavorful food, super affordable, good beer selection, staff is friendly. The rice bowls and burritos are great of course, but try the Brussel sprouts too, they’re always well roasted and the addition of Thai fish sauce dressing makes them really stand out.
This place is killer good food. Love their burritos and rice bowls. Highly recommend their ice cream, Milkjam, which is expensive but legitimately amazing. Cereal killer is out of this world good. Have at, folks. It's all good.
This is an excellent place for a quick lunch or dinner. Food is great and decently priced. We got the curry burrito and Korean BBQ rice bowl, both are good portions and unique dishes. Although it is in uptown and can be a bit crowded, there's a small parking lot next to it which is nice.
This is by far one of my favorite places for food. I've now tried everything on their menu food wise and the ONLY bad experience I've had is when they over-cook the brussel sprout dish, but some may prefer that. The service is fast and very accommodating of any special requests. I'm not a big fan of the drinks in bags, but I'm rather picky with cocktails.
I know we needed to try the chicken yum yum rice bowl so after our average, but reasonable and satisfying burrito, we felt we didnt get to experience the hype. So we seen alot of ppl with these bowls. So at $10 a meal. We had to get one to go for later on. I think it will be more filling. The part I enjoyed the most was the freshness. Didnt have to deal with any brown lettuce or soggy-tomatoes level stuff. The best $10 meals without hidden add on fees. Very honest and you know exactly what you're getting The spicy, sweet, hearty flavor is surprisingly unique.
The food is awesome! I've never had a bad experience here, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Only downside is that it does get pretty busy around the rush hours for breakfast and dinner. Staff are great, something different on the menu each time, and there is actually spice in the spicy dishes! (Definitely not "Minnesota hot")
The food is very creative and delicious. The Sweet Onion Stuffed Falafel Burger is excellent as is the Beef Shawarma. Lots of vegan and gluten free options on the menu as well. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you making so service is fast making it a great place for a quick lunch.
Original review was heavily based on particular dish I ordered. After eating there a second time I raised my review.
Original review was BBQ Korean burrito.
Everyone loves this place so i tried it. Food made me feel a little sick and wasn't a good combination of spices. Service was friendly.
Love this place so much!! It's a staple in my house for quality food prepared fast. I always get the tofu yum yum bowl and my husband the Korean beef burrito. Everything I've tried has been wonderful though. I'm so glad to have this place.
I love trying new places especially with my family, I've read great reviews of WSK so we went and ordered two old fashions, a bowl of chicken for the kids and lamb stomach tacos, it would be nice if they had more children friendly drinks besides milk. Place was buzzing but not extremely busy. We received our order and tacos were great but the children's chicken bowl was too spicy for them. Our drinks were also not served after a 30 min wait. We asked for them twice and to no avail I went up to the counter to ask for them a third time and it took them maybe 45 seconds to make each drink. For a place where two entrees and two drinks cost us upward of $65, you'd expect better attention to customer. Flustered we enjoyed the atmosphere and had some desert next door at Milkjam
it's good. i especially love the wraps and bowls. there are vegetarian options but don't f with the tofu because it's terrible. maybe go for the shitake-brocoli bowl without tofu. cocktails are premixed and moderately boozy but good. definitely worth a try!
One of the best places I have eaten in the Twin Cities. I had the Korean beef bowel, my husband had lamb bowel. Both outstandingly delicious. Korean beef tasted authentic, though a little on the salty side. Who cares about a little bit saltiness on the tongue when your brain screams yes with every bite of it. I would come back all the time.
If you want fast-casual food, there is no better place. Everything on the menu I've tried has been amazing. My favorites include the lamb belly yum yum bowl and short rib burrito. The flavors and freshness are top notch.
Stopped by here on tour with my friends. My bandmates are from MN and wanted to show me around. Great food, and possibly the best hummus/pita I've ever eaten. Went to Milk Jam afterward. Both places do not disappoint.
This is one of my go to places for dinning in, take out, or when I'm super lazy delivery. I love almost everything I have tried there and extremely recommend the Yum Yum Korean BBQ Bowl (I personally get it with no Kimchi and an extra egg). The only reason I have rated them 4 out of 5 is the price, it is alittle steep for street food, but overall is very tasty!
The place looks really clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and unique. I had the red curry burrito and it was filling and good, a bit spicy but I like that. Reasonable prices, burrito and a glass bottle coke for less than $10
Great food but music too loud.
So far I have had the tofu bowl, the bangkok burrito, the guac and chips, and the brussel sprouts. The food is amazing! Fresh, bold and bursting with unexpected flavors. Each dish was delightful, moreover the serving size is more than generous for the price. Finally, you actually feed GOOD after eating this food, as the ingredients are actually good for you. If I didn't have kids I would eat one meal a day at this spot and be happy.
I'm a vegetarian and most of the times it's difficult to find exotic-tasting dishes that's more than just a salad. The "crispy marinated tofu yum yum rice bowl" here is an amazing find for me! I love their sauce and the tofu is just crisp enough for me
I love the chicken curry burrito from this place. I go out of my way whenever I am in the city to stop and grab one. They have a really diverse menu that is not overwhelmingly large at all. Make sure to top by the ice cream place next door after you are done.
The Blinged Out Gauc is my go-to at this place because it's a great side to whatever else I'm ordering. I love that they have vegan options. They are at the top of the list when I'm looking for take-out and delivery while staying at home during the pandemic.
The staff here are always very friendly. A comfortable place to visit on your own, with a friend, or a group. Lots to do nearby!
Clean, great service along with an excellent meal. Had the Yum Yum with Korean BBQ. Very good with the correct amount of spice. My friend had the same but he had the chicken version. He loved it. Will be returning again.
I would give their food 6 stars if I could. Flavorful, great texture, ideal food served quick
Update: march 6 22 - still amazing, as well as going to lengths to take the pandemic seriously.
One of our favorite spots. Everything is delicious. Great for a quick bite, brunch or dinner. Even fun to stop in and grab a prebatched craft cocktail or beer. Be sure to stop next door for a scoop of ice cream at Milk Jam for dessert😃 …
Really enjoyed the Falafel Burger. It was very filling and tasted great. My only complaint is that I had to witness a car accident just to pick up my food, since this street is a cluster.
Hung out for open streets lyndale and was amazed by the band as well as the food! The fries where life saving while crispy and well seasoned!
The restaurant offers a contemporary blend of Chinese, korean, and Thai cuisine, fused into an Americana experience. If you're looking for a modern, more approachable dining option, such as a KBBQ short rib burrito, look for it here. The rice bowls are also a good choice, and the menu overall offers more than enough variety to pique a wide palate, and is concise enough to satisfy a particular craving.
It's also right next door to Milk Jam Creamery, which is a must go if you're into exotic and delicious dessert. A relatively new, but well-loved classic in Minneapolis.
Great food and atmosphere and the planet's best ice cream next door.
This place is awesome! The vibe there is amazing! I had the best Asian platter ever it called O.G. Chicken! Best mediterranean tacos ever called Shawerma tacos 🌮 and tbh all of their food there is really delicious! This place has its own free parking lot in uptown. Highly recommended. …
Awesome food and great employees who make sure you have everything. I have tried many menu items there but my favorite is the Red Curry Chicken bowl! Mmmmmm! You have to try it! You can get it in a burrito or in a bowl! Fast services, great people, clean restaurant and very delicious foods from stir-fry chicken, vegetable choices, Korean BBQ’s and rice bowl varieties. There so much to choose from. I came without my gf since she is traveling...Ssshhhhhhh... World Street Kitchen has everything from different countries so check it out yourself guys!
Let me be clear, I love the food here, but 2/3 of the times I've ordered delivery from WSK (once through their website and once through doordash), an entire item has been missing from the order. The first time (ordered through the website) I called and they told me they would refund the item so I could order again, so I did get the item eventually. I was told they would refund the second delivery fee too but I never got a refund for that. Today, I ordered from them again (through doordash) and an entree was missing, so my partner has nothing to eat. I called and they said I had to go through doordash (that makes sense) so in this case I got a refund but still, no food. One time I could excuse as a fluke but twice this has happened now and 1 out of 3 orders without missing items is a terrible track record. It's a real shame because I love the food at WSK.
Edit: I've changed my review to 3 stars because it seems Doordash was largely to blame for the missing entree. Thanks to the WSK staff who helped rectify the issues above that were within their control.
You must try Yum yum rice bowl and chicken sandwich with carrot and spices. Totally unique recipes that you wont ever find anywhere else in the world. Glad i tried several times
The sprouts here are incredible, a must try for sure. The main entrees are also great and I love the weekly specials. Would recommend to everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful. Defiantly my top five favorite places to eat in Minneapolis.
Ordered takeout for 6 of us. Everyone in the group was super impressed. The brussel sprouts were particularly well liked!
Wow, blown away. I've been here once before to go next door for Milk Jam but never got to try WSK out. It was worth it. Came here after our tennis match and it was an excellent choice. The fusion was definitely unique, the food was something you couldn't get anywhere else, lastly the price was higher than anticipated for the portions but it was still worth it.
We had order 3 items, the KBBQ burger, a KBBQ short rib burrito and lastly an ice cream passion fruit (skip!) Both orders were about $10 a piece and the ice cream was $5. The burrito flavors were something I've never had before and every bite screamed take another one. As for the burger it was more dry, I wish there as a sauce to pair with it. But unique foods are prepared the way they are for a reason. I was okay with it. The ice cream.... maybe take a trip to milkjam and stand in line that was weird. The flavors did not mix well and it left me done after a bit.
Atmosphere: 5 (It was very casual, hipster good music loud spacious and well lit from the windows)
Food Quality: 5 (Quality was great still not okay with the ice cream)
Service: 3 (Self serve - There's water, hot sauce and silverware for your own pickings. I think they should serve it would have added to my positive experience)
Cleanliness: 5 (Everything was fair)
Stars 4.5 bump up. $30 after tax. Will be back!
Had them cater an event for me last year, and was so impressed I decided to hit the main store up. I was a bit worried about a Saturday night line, but it was quick and spacious enough that it moved fast. If anything, a quarter of the restaurant was taken up by Milkjam customers from next door.
Do yourself a favor and try anything on the menu.
World Street kitchen has a laid back leisurely atmosphere. i waited about 10 minutes for my food and it was jam packed, my friends got the Mexican steak and loved it. The red curry chicken burrito was great.
Been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. Very low priced, extremely high quality, great portions. Excellent cooks. International variety of fare. Wonderful fun atmosphere. Great staff. High overall value. I'll definitely be back.
Called in and made a curbside order, got the bag, got home, and everything is in the order except for a single cookie. All the other food is amazing, but when i call after discovering the missing item i get sent to voicemail?🤔 other than today though its been great and the managers are very accommodating in these situations🔥 …
Awesome spot to dine in or do take out. Highly recommend both the chicken curry and Korean bbq burritos. The brussel sprouts are also excellent. The Mexican steak sandwich is also a good choice.
Awesome food, and fast service. We are obsessed with the yum yum chicken and korean bbq beef yum yum bowls. The burritos are also top notch. Beautiful flavors
Pretty good. Was a little expensive I thought. My fish sandwich didn't come with any sides.
Good food. Korean Short Rib Rice bowl was excellent. Casual atmosphere. A little loud inside, but not enough that you can't have a conversation.
Beyond amazing. Had the best brussels sprouts I've ever eaten, along with a wonderful rice bowl. Food was seasoned perfectly, with bold and vibrant flavors. Plus, dinner for two, with an appetizer and drinks for under 40 bucks!
World Street tries to execute a concept I always hoped to find in the US but it never seems to really catch on. I'm always looking for the fusion restaurants that can showcase what I love from different culture's cuisines. World Street does it, but in a fast casual setting. I'd love to see a few different options that what they have, I'm sure it would showcase their range more effectively.
Perhaps a bit closer to 3.5*, but I’m bumping it up because my companion’s red curry burrito was excellent. I thought my lamb rice bowl was just okay and the prices were a bit high for what you get. Service was fast and friendly
WSK. Everything is great here - from the famous bowls and burritos, to the enormous fish sandwich. Never had a bad thing here. If you’re lucky enough to make it on Sunday brunch. The sunny side may change your life. Stop over to milk jam and your world will be a happy one
Service was top notch. Food was ok. Ordered the onion sauteed burger and it was decent size but not that tasty. The kids menu for my 8 year old and twin 3 year olds was weak and only had a few choices. They also said they didn't have any ketchup and bbq sauce, however, one of the staff located a small bit of ketchup for my daughters. With kids you gotta have basic condiments like ketchup and bbq sauce! Resteraunt area was pretty clean.
Delicious Yum Rice Bowls. Try the lamb belly it's fantastic. The parking situation can be tight if it's during peak times but they do have a parking lot. Also try a cookie for dessert.
Loved the yum bowl, I got the caramel lamb ,
The person at the register explained there was stuff, like peanuts, and raw egg in the dish, wasn't a big deal for me,
If you are planning to get a yum bowl, the sauce they have in the bowl is Abit over kill,
Rice is cooked well, everything in the bowl was delicious and tasty,
Lamb was 2/5 : wasn't that tasty for my taste buds.
My other sisters got the Korean short rib bowl, and the tofu bowl, both of them was 5/5 , for taste of tofu and short ribs
A unique atmosphere and exotic foods make this place the perfect date night spot or just "break away from the usual" kind of hang out. It feels almost like a cross between a chipotle and a bar. The is a bit expensive, but the portions are generous and the quality is great!
I'd go back for those carmelized lamb belly tacos. Perfectly balanced with sesame seeds adding a nice crunch. Old fashioned in a bag was fun. I could have sucked down three of those probably. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy.
I had the noodle bowl per staff recommendation and it was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. Only complaint is the amount of guacamole served with the chips. The ratio was wayyyyy off. Not even enough for half the chips.
Most of the food was good tasting, and it seemed healthy. The jug of water ran out. They accommodated our large group and brought out the food quickly. They got all of the orders correct. They serve beer too. Good location but no parking lot.
Friendly, helpful staff, great food (especially the tofu, which I had in the Bangkok burrito last time) and close to my home. A dangerous combination!
Yum, yum, yum! I have only been to WSK once but that will not be true for long. Great place for a better quality ingredient version of greasy, comfort food. They have a lot of creative menu options and many vegan options to choose from. Their cocktails are also creative and delicious. I had their Lingonberry Sakito cocktail which was a delightful fruity cocktail without being sugary sweet. Overall, great experience.
The food was great and had good vegetarian options. I did tofu and my wife did pork belly and we loved both.
Cocktails in a bag was a cute detail.
They have outdoor seating. Staff was nice Falafel burger was really bland, even the hummus on it was really basic and not very special.
I found this place from a website listed out the best places to eat in Minneapolis. It's a bit different than what I thought but I liked the food. It's an American twist of some international food, e.g., fast food Bim Bim Bum, etc. I ordered a bowl with Korean BBQ. The service was lighting fast, and it tasted pretty good.
Great service and dining experience (A+) but was somewhat underwhelmed with the taste of the food considering the previous reviews.
We ordered several different things in the menu, such as lamb belly bowl and kaya toast. I thought it was overly salty and heavy on the thick sauce. There was no flavor profile that I would expect from an Asian fusion (used to live in SF and LA). A lot of us didn't finish our food :-(
The highlight for us was the kaya toast, which is close to what I had in Singapore and Indonesia, although the bread was slathered in butter overpowering the taste of the kaya spread.
I moved away from Mpls. awhile ago. My son was asking me where I would want to eat when I visit. I'm a vegetarian and seriously love to eat...I remembered fondly all of the many restaurants I have tried in the Twin Cities area and also checked my list. Yep, I have a list. My pick was this restaurant. It was so delicious.
Fun atmosphere. I love the Korean BBQ but I've been unimpressed with a few other things I've tried. I appreciated the limited menu my first few times visiting but now I wish there were some new options.
OMG delicious. We tried the Korean BBQ burrito, chicken rice bowl and Brussels sprout apps. Too much to eat but happily went home with the college kids. Coming back very soon!
Excellent food at great prices. Not a large menu, but just right. Service is friendly and fast. My favorite is the lemongrass meatball bowl. It has just the right amount of kick.
This shitake squash taco is blowing my mind and taste buds. Every staff person here is kind and smiley. Do not, for any reason, skip dessert. Every single pastry or frozen specialty will satisfy and delight. Order a quick lunch or come with friends and sample a few things. So yummy. Say it with me: YUM YUM BOWL!
One of my favorite spots in the LynLake area. It can get busy on the weekends for dine in, but if you order online and do take out you can cut to the front of the line when your food is ready. Everything I've had from the menu has been wonderful!
Delicious fusion food! Gluten free and vegan options. All taste amazing. Counter service style restaurant.
It's connected to MilkJam Creamery so that can't hurt!
I had a mishap via Postmates with an order I had placed. And though some of the food I received wasn’t spectacular I want to leave space for the fact that delivery definitely impacts the quality of food, presentation, etc. I want to specifically mention the customer service I received from WSK. I spoke with a manager Abbie on the phone and she was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, listened to my feedback and offered to fix the mistake and deliver the missing item. This was kindness in pure form. I work in the food industry and I know the challenges of righting wrongs in customer service and I have to offer high praise for her genuine care and commitment to customer service. That alone makes me want to be a repeat costumer.
Counter-service restaurant with affordable, great quality, and delicious Asian fusion recipes . The Bangkok burrito with either red curry chicken or tofu is a must have. This place is a great option for a quick bite or those busy days after work.
Just order the Korean bbq burrito and the campfire Rice Krispie and call it a night. WSK has Flavors for every palate though
I've loved everything I've had here. The chicken curry Bangkok burrito is my favorite or maybe the lamb tacos or possible the short rib yum yum bowl...hard to pick one.
Really enjoyed the food! Tried the Korean beef burrito. Very fresh ingredients and you could taste all of the elements of the burrito individually within the burrito itself. Yum!
Mediterranean-Asian fusion restaurant. The mastermind behind the amazing menu is Chef Sameh Wadi. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The Korean BBQ short ribs rice bowl is a must. I highly recommend the Shawarma tacos. The MFC and red curry chicken burrito are both good as well. Don't forget to stop by Milkjam for a great dessert.
I found this place by pure chance and couldn't have been happier. I loved the chicken burrito and am looking forward to trying the WSK salad. Loved the food I tried, received awesome service, will definitely try it again soon.
I love World Street Kitchen! The first place I stopped upon returning to town for a visit. The food is amazing. Staff are so friendly! Vegetarian and vegan options for many dishes. And I hear the ice cream next door is to die for!
I stopped in for the first time today and had the Korean BBQ bowl and it was amazing! The people that work there are super friendly and the service was top notch. I will most definitely be back! I highly recommend this place!
I'd say this is one of the two or three best restaurants that I've tried in the MSP area in the year or so that I've lived here. I've tried the Moroccan fried chicken sandwich, the fish sandwich, the bahn mi breakfast sandwich, and the red curry chicken burrito. All were absolutely terrific.
This place always has amazing food and service! Literally everything is good, but we always go with the yum yum rice bowl. Pro-tip: pay the extra 3 dollars for the double meat. So worth it. So delicious.
Worth. Every. Penny. The food here is amazing and very appropriately priced. And when you're finished, there's amazing ice cream right next door!
This is a great cost effective date spot. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. So many global options and I pick something different almost every time and it never disappoints. One thing I always stick with are their brussel sprouts - so amazing.
I've been to WSK several times, and each time the food is great, and the costumer service is excellent! I highly recommend their Korean BBQ yum yum bowl, their Mexican steak eggwich, and their beef shawerma tacos! Regardless of what you order, you won't be disappointed.
The burrito's are irresistible. Can't stay away, drove 40 minutes just to pick one up. Great curbside service and covid safe practices.
The Korean Beef Yum Yum Bowl is a must have. They serve both beer and wine. There is outdoor seating for sunny days. And no need to go far for dessert because Milkjam Creamery is right next door.
Good atmosphere, good food!
Love their MFC sandwich!
Korean BBQ Short Ribs = Best burrito EVER! Staff was fast and friendly. Nice drink selection. Try the adult juice bag (aka, cocktail).
Received very helpful service to help us choose a dairy-free meal option. The food 5-star quality - the slightly upscale takeout prices reflect that quality as well as the location and clientele in a very trendy area of town.
This is one of my favorite spots in Uptown. Great selection of different foods. MFC (Fried Chicken) Biscuit Sandwich is my favorite. Relaxed vibe, you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you.
Lived down the street for a year and probably ate here more days than not. Quick service, great food, and right next door to Milkjam if you need a desert! The red curry Bangkok Burrito is a MUST!
Didn’t live up to the hype for me. I got the Korean bbq burrito because a lot of reviews say that’s the best! But I thought it was waaay too salty, had too much rice and could’ve used some veggies.
Love this place. The food is fantastic and the staff is the best! You really can't beat the good vibes in this shop. They have a parking lot and are connected to an ice-cream shop. I've eaten here countless times and have never had a negative experience.
Short rib rice bowl and mexican steak eggwich were both A+
Eclectic menu options for an adventurous flavor pallet. I had the brussel sprouts and they were crispy and super flavorful and had a great kick, also enjoyed the short rib lettuce wraps tho I had enough food with just the brussels.
One person said it was pricey for the "type" of restaurant. Not true. The quality and taste speak for itself and completely justifies the 8$ or 9$ you spend for a regular menu item.
I've had the O.G. Chicken rice bowl and rasta torta. Both excellent, especially the jerk beef in the rasta torta is phenomenal. It takes a little while to get your food, but it's obvious why that is once you taste it
Its good but didnt wow us. Nothing that we order made us say we couldnt wait to come back. The food is expensive for the kind of restaurant it is, and is served on paper boats. They come with no sides. I would have seen some home made potato chips with a special flavor that is unique to WSK served with my sandwich ,or a nice dip for the burrito of fried chicken sandwich. The containers the food is served on cheapens your food but not the price. The water cups are too small. Cookies need some work.
Service is A+ and so was the environment.
I love World Street Kitchen. It's my favorite place to go for delicious rice bowls. I can't recommend the Spicy Tofu YumYum bowl enough.
This was my first visit here. The food was great and ordering at the counter worked out great for our large group that we had, all arriving at different times. I can't wait to try more of the menu.
This restaurant started as a food truck. I really like their beef shawarma tacos and the Sociable Cider (Road Rash). Definitely plan to go again.
Plus, it neighbors Milk Jam.
The crispy marinated tofu bowl is consistently delicious. Good sangria too! Becoming a go-to place for a solid and quick meal.
Start with the Korean bbq yum yum bowl and go from there. If you don't like it let me know and I will personal apologize to you. It will be a heartfelt apology.. obviously I will habe to eat a yum yum bowl first to give me heartfeels in the first place but that's not the point. Don't question my methods! That's not what this review is about! Gosh!
The curry peanut butter cookie is incredible. Some dishes were better than others. A little lacking in vegetarian options but I'll try it again.
My delivery got lost somehow and when I called about it rather than trying to issue a refund or questioning me endlessly about what could have happened they pulled up my order and duplicated it and the person I spoke with personally drove a new order to me. I am just impressed with the exceptional service ON TOP OF THE ALWAYS AMAZING FOOD
I've brought many friends here. Everyone is always impressed. Never gets old. If you ever see the owner, you should talk to him. He's got a great story about how he got into the business. Great guy!
I work for a delivery service so speed is everything for a restaurant. Was told on arrival 15 minutes, took 6 to get a fresh made order. Service was polite and fast. Food wasn't much that I personally would eat but seemed to be pretty popular.
Love the rice bowls and probably one of the easiest places to find parking. They have beer, wine, and bottled coke! Wish they had a few more options for hot sauce and wifi, but still like coming here.
Served at fast food speeds, but absolutely delicious stuff, honestly my favorite quick service food in the twin cities.
The Korean BBQ Burrito is a classic. Perfect take out dish. The rest of the meals are quirky, scrumptious and delight the tongue every time.
Quite possibly my favorite place to eat while in the LynLake area. This place just takes "mashup food" to another level. Meals that taste amazing when you're sober, and triply so when you drunk or hungover (pretty goddamn savory). Well worth the trip.
Unique menu options. Spicy fair that includes very well crafted dishes. Start with a rice bowl for your first time. All the sandwiches are great.
Food is absolutely amazing, maybe a little over priced but honestly I would do it all over again and again ahahaha. I love their curry burritos and bulgogi burrito.
My taste buds are so satisfied! Best meal I've had out in awhile!!!!
This is a fun place with some decent menu items. It is a cafe / order at the front style, and their dishes all have some sort of twist to them (e.g., the blinged-out guacamole with edamame in it). I enjoyed this place a lot and will definitely be coming back.
Lots of options on the menu! I was there for happy hour which was nice. Very cool space, though the music was loud which made it difficult to socialize. The hummus I ordered was good.
I've given this place a lot of tries because my friends who eat meat love it, but I have never had vegetarian food I really enjoyed here. Too much reliance on deep fried tofu and squash.
Great food, had the OG chicken bowl, spicy but also many different flavors. Bowl was also visually appealing. Good first visit for my wife and I!
You'll be full, and you'll want more. The burritos, the bowls, whatever you choose just be ready to take some home or have an hour to rest before you try to move.
First bite till the last will have you wanting to finish the amazing foods.
Great casual cool atmosphere and the food is really quick to come out even when the place is packed. The staff is super helpful with recommendations and they're also very friendly and approachable, which is something I cannot say for most of the restaurants in uptown.
World street kitchen has a great happy hour! Definitely check it out if you’re around 3-5pm. Their apps are nicely sized as well.
Great food. Tried the red curry burrito, guac, and the Korean BBQ burrito... delicious! It was super busy but we got a table quickly. Kind of loud in there.
Vegan tofu bowl with double veggies. My favorite thing to get!
Holy cow, this was crazy delicious. Great variety of amazing dishes with just the right amount of spice! Lively atmosphere and great service too, how could you not enjoy this place?
Underrated restaurant in the Uptown area. Reasonable prices, quick and great service, and great food. The Moroccan Fried Chicken sandwich is delicious!
By far my favorite restaurant in Hudson. The Puerco Diablo is amazing. (Anything with the habanero aioli is worth ordering.) Their cocktails are great, too. And the chocolate habanero torte is to die for. This is my top recommendation for out-of-towners.
I was pretty impressed. All the food was great and the portions are really big. You can easily split a rice bowl. Their cocktails are good too.
Excellent food and cocktails. Fun staff and environment. Plus it's attached to Milkjam Creamery where you can get the most amazing and imaginative ice cream ever made.
Awesome food. Usually get a rice bowl, but had the MFC sandwich today. Fast, friendly service. Interesting drink choices. Amazing ice cream
Although it may have a hipster vibe its honestly a great place where you can also get drinks and even eat something stunning. They can make brussel sprouts sexy.... talented people
Super quick service! Good selection of beer and cocktails but has more of a top shelf cantina feel as compared to sit-down. This place could EASILY become a haunt for us...
Great food and ambiance! Try the Mexican Steak and Egg'wich. If you don't like cilantro, a lot of their dishes have a lot, so just ask before hand.
The beef short rib burrito was amazing. Make sure you grab a bottle of their Thai chili sauce to add some extra heat.
Delicious! First dinner in my new city home and I was so satisfied! Got it delivered to my appartment great food and still hot and fresh!!!!! Will come back for sure!!!!
I have only been one time, but the tacos I had were great! They have some unusual combinations on their menu, and I'm sure not all of them are great, but there are many I want to try.
I go here regularly for lunch and it is always excellent! Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but it is worth it! If you like unique food combinations in a fun, clean atmosphere check out WSK
I had amazing coffee from here and then and then a great Chinese dish. They also have wonderful pho.
Get the brussel sprouts they are the best. Also get the korean bbq kids version no other stuff bit still has great portion sizes. Even has ice cream restaurant next door.
The food was really good! I got the carmelized lamb belly taco and it was very good. Got some of their icecream after eating which was also absolutely delicious!
I always eat WSK food truck when I see it, but the restaurant was a let down. Everything except for the glasses was disposable--maybe compostable?--plates, bowls, cutlery. Understandable from a food truck, surprising from a not-so-cheap restaurant.
Secondly, at $9.50 for a [delicious] white rice bowl there wasn't much rice in it. I lived in Japan for a few years and they make their rice bowls with plenty of rice; it's the cheapest ingredient after all. If these issues were fixed, or the price was lowered, I'd place WSK high on my To Frequent list. Let's hope!
Good food. Fusion is the word but it works. Flavors that mix together well. Very cordial staff. Hip vibe. Try the Korean beef burrito. Its good.
Love the food. The staff is always friendly. Their Brussels sprouts are a must try. This coming from someone who doesn't care for them usually.
Their food is SO delicious and innovative AND affordably priced. I miss sitting in with them, but their curbside pick-up has been so great!!
Some of the fusion dishes are a bit unique and unexpected but the flavor is good. Having an ice cream store attached is a huge plus!
Great food at an affordable price. I would eat here wayyyy too much if I lived closer. A unique blend of dishes inspired from regions all over the world
Nice place to stop before / after a visit to MIA. I had a tasty Korean BBQ item - but they have a few other choices ranging from Mexican, to vegetarian and more.
Living in Mankato means I dont often spend time in the Twin Cities. When I'm do make it to the cities this is my #1 food place to visit. The tofu yum yum bowl is so good I have dreams about it!
Lamb tacos, Korean BBQ beef ribs in a rice bowl and the Brussels sprouts all so delicious. Meaty, herby, just the right spice.
One of the best reataurants Ive ever tried, Their beef Shawerma tacos are so amazing... also next door ice cream at Milk Jam.
Great service awesome food and flavors. Korean Yum Yum bowl was so good and a large portion too!
The OG chicken bowl paired with the Reeds Ginger beer is just perfect. Add their house made hot sauce if your are feeling a little adventurous.
Very cool place, if a bit too noisy for conversation at busines lunchtime. Great vegetarian options. My dish was an Asian delight with tody and veggies. Ample portions.
The food was mediocre at best for the price. $20 for a slightly better than Chipotle and a drink fells like a rip off.
Flavor-packed food at an affordable price. Staff friendly and efficient. It's noisy and busy in a good way. Don't miss the ice cream next door.
Fantastic food and great service. We got the lamb meatballs, lamb tacos, and bulgogi mushroom lettuce wraps. Delicious! Love the outdoors seating.
Lost my keys here and the staff was really kind to keep track of them until I got back. The food wasn’t quite my type though. Oriental dishes are great, but not for me.
Don't believe the haters. The whole menu is crunk af + you can buy a 40oz. the only complaint I have is they don't have Hamm's. Other than that I call it World Star Kitchen, holler if you hear me.
Super amazing & flavorful food. Incredibly helpful & knowledgeable staff.
Tasty food. I'm a spice wimp, so I asked the counter person if it was spicy. The reply was "Minnesota Spicy". That's an accurate description. Minnesota Spicy is West Coast mild.
Fantastic food! Highly recommend the Red Chichen curry burrito! But you can’t go wrong with a menu like theirs :)
I went here for the second time with my sisters. The food was good, though a bit too flavorful for my tastebuds. The place is nice and it also has a nice vibe.
Very good and unique food. Everything I have tried there has great flavor! It is also vegan friendly!
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be the Korean BBQ rice bowl. Incredible combination of flavors that keeps me coming back all the time!
One of my favourite places. Recommend the Korean BBQ rice bowl. It’s delicious.
Lots of people seem to love this place but I think the food is just ok; something I could make just as easily at home. The brussel sprouts are far too oily to enjoy.
Flavorful and texturally satisfying. The Korean BBQ Rice bowl is true to its Korean roots while giving a tasty heep of American saucy fusion.
Menu looks a little different..... don't worry at all!! Wow!... great food!! I tried the Mexican steak & eggwich and man was that fantastic!!
This place is a must try!!
it's a good place to eat little bit pricey for the shawerma, burritos area OK size, as a big Man 2 burritos would hit the spot, the milkjam ice cream joint is awesome
I ordered the lamb belly rice bowl and it was amazing as always! The only thing I would complain about is that the lamb belly had a “soapy” after taste to it.
Great food, even better staff. Haven't had a bad meal here and make frequent visits. The vegan items are super tasty.
Great place, must be the best quality to price ratio in town. The best time to go and try it out is happy hours 3-6 when snacks and salads are half off, you won't be disappointed.
Always incredible. Yum yum bowls, guac, chicken sandwich, Brussels sprouts. Delicious. Just wish we lived closer.
Korean BBQ Beef Short Ribs... Yum yum bowl... Very well named. Caramelized brussel sprouts... Yum. Almost like candy!
Food here is so great! Great options for food and the lamb belly tacos are amazing! I frequently crave their tacos now
Price is a little high for what you get. We had the Korean bbq ribs, caramelized Lamb bowls. It was 90% rice and 10% meat
Great place for a quick bite. The "Mexican Steak & Egg'wich" was delicious! Wish for more of that creamy avocado that they put on top ...
Fast dependable service. Consistent high quality food. Lemongrass meatball lettuce wraps and of chicken yum yum bowl are our go tos.
Love their bbq beef short rib burritos and bowls, both are fantastic, go here almost every time I'm in minneapolis
Food was awesome, price was reasonable. Neat little place. Just wish the music were more background to make it easier to talk, instead of trying to be foreground and to loud.
great food for the money, quick and friendly service
all of these are great!
og chicken rice bowl
korean rib burrito
steak and egg sandwich
fried chicken sandwich
tofu rice bowl
Loved it. Was peaceful and quiet
I had the Korean BBQ Beef Yum Yum Bowl and then I saw the face of god. Delicious food and friendly staff, with a really chill style to the place.
One of our favs. Lunch, breakfast, dinner, snack, brunch. You name it. They do it well
5 stars for the Korean Bowl... yum.
Casual, vibrant space with unique world flavors. A little proud of their beverage prices, but the food is reasonable, well-prepared, and delicious.
Pretty good! I understand what they're trying to do with the culinary fusion, but sometimes it's not bringing out the actual food's flavor and more just trying to put flavors together.
The Falafel Burger was awesome, but my favorite is the Grilled Chicken Yum Yum Rice Bowl. Try the "secret sauce"!
Awesome food at a decent price. Service is usually quick too. I have had the whole menu at this point and loved everything.
Get the Bangkok burrito, Brussels sprouts, and Korean short rib yum yum bowl!
these guys work really well together as a team. super impressed with professionalism and effort of whole group to perfect the dining experience. these guys will be in business in 5 years because they know how to get it done.
It's interesting but not great. I prefer a place that does what they know and does it great over a place that has their hand in everything but does not do a great job at any of them. Don't fool yourself, this place is more trendy than tasty.
I liked the Korean bbq rice bowl. It had a mix of flavors, and the Kim chi went well with it.
The food here is ridiculously good, and the service was great. Chicken curry burrito for the win!!! I will 100% be back.
Treat yourself: Bangkok Burrito, Miller High Life 40oz, cereal killer ice cream from MilkJam. You're welcome for a good time from WSK.
We had such good food from World Street Kitchen! The MFC chicken sandwich was amazing and highly recommended!
Definitely check this place out!!
Red curry burrito will bring me back here. Great place serving quality food. Also connected to a ice cream shop which speaks for itself.
Loved this place I had the steak and egg sandwich with avocado!!! My two issues is prices are a little high and they have no good alcohol options.
I was brought here with some friends on my birthday in June! I loved it! Great food! Very unique menu!
The chicken sandwich is great. The lamb meatballs are dry, but I think that's because there is little fat in lamb.
My all-time favorite go to place to eat anything, I love their menu and just the staff. Everyone is super friendly.
Wow, every bite tells a different story! A must try
Food was ready in 10 min. Great staff. Food tasted great.
Everything on this menu is delicious. My favorite thing is the Korean BBQ Short Rib lettuce wraps and brussels sprouts.
Great Korean BBQ bowl! Always ask for extra sauce on the side. You won't regret it!
Taylor was awesome ringing me up! She was super friendly and easy to talk to, made my first time experience at WSK perfect :)
Slow ordering process, the service is mediocre and prices are a bit inflated. But the food quality is great! Amazing BBQ rib dishes.
Always great food but this time I did take out. Everything was still delicious 20 min later when I got home!
My girl ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was over cooked and dry af. But my ban mi breakfast sandwich was phenomenal.
Best Mexican sandwich ever omg it's so good you can't stop eating it.
Bangkok 🌯 with tofu is excellent. Use their homemade spices at home in our cooking too! …
I always stop at WSK when I go to uptown. Everything is delicious. I like them so much, we had them cater our wedding.
Love the food and atmosphere here! I'm not usually a tofu person but their bowls are amazing!
Unusual, very good food. Lamb belly rice bowl and the Brussel sprouts are both amazing.
Super fast delivery and their burritos were awesome. Ordering through the app makes it easy to order.
The Bangkok Burrito with beef short rib is hands-down the best thing I have ever eaten. No joke.
So many options for many tastes. Drinks out of the ordinary. Really good bowls, guacamole. And MilkJam next door!
We had their food from a food truck as well as the restaurant. Both were delicious and offered a modern take on global flavor.
Great customer service. Delicious food! Nice vegan options to include the ice cream sandwich ;)
Cool place..to eat and hang around..has happy hour menu..just beside the milk jam creamery..you will love both places..renowned and recognized by all !!!
Amazing food! The tofu burrito never lets me down, so fire!
Some of the best food I've ever had and I love this place, especially for fast casual. Get a bowl.
Great food and good service. This is a perfect spot for dinner and you can combo it with Milk It next door for dessert.
MFC is the best fried chicken sandwich in the world. I'd fight you over it, but one taste and you'll agree.
Loved the food there and one member from the staff she was very welcoming and realized it was my first time there. She was very helpful and awesome
😍 …
Great vegan options, would love more! Nice service, good music and vibe. A bit loud for informal meetings etc.
My family of six loves this place. My kids love their food from the kids quesadillas to the adult size Korean burrito.
Delicious and quick! Fantastic substitute for fast food much tastier and healthier!
Pancheros or chipotle is a much better burrito (had the curry chicken one) imo
WSK offers tasty food in a relaxed environment. The yum yum bowls are yummy and the fish sandwich is tasty.
Yum yum bowls are delicious! Very cool place with a unique and flavorful menu.
Super delish, nice friendly, fabulously fast. Hummas and fresh pita SO good. Crunchy chickpeas on top
Always great fresh food. They flavors are next level.
The food is fabulous, amazing and abundant. The doors are hard to open of you need a walking device. No wifi.
Food was brought out quickly and it was delicious! Would always recommend! Being connected to milkjam doesn't hurt either :)
Service was great and red curry chicken burrito 🌯 was amazing had an authentic taste not generic. Will be back! …
Short rib Bangkok Burrito, excellent as always.
Ok. Workers were nice food was pretty decent my daughter had lamb she loved it the meatballs were amazing in the salad
Street food brought inside. Tasty, fast, and relatively inexpensive. And the Milkjam is next door. Head over for ice cream after eating.
Great service!! We had a little guacamole left over and the server gave us free chips to finish it up!!! Thank you👍😁😊 …
Decent food, but the service was a little slow, especially for it not being too busy while we were there.
I've had Korean BBQ burrito and mfc fried chicken sandwich both express trains to flavor town!
