Comfortable atmosphere with a vintage flare. The Trax burger did not disappoint! The food was great! Only downside was that the machines weren’t working to make milkshakes (which was the draw for us). Indoor and outdoor patio seating, and really comfortable chairs! Great location and parking was a breeze. They accommodated my son’s peanut allergy which is always appreciated! Would love to visit again when we can try the desserts!

I was skeptical due to the Trax’s proximity to Target Field, but this place is the bomb. If you’re a lover of sidecars the Side Chick cocktail is not to be missed. The burger and chips were good. Nothing to complain about. A great find in the North Loop.

Apologies for the pics of half eaten food. Food was a bit pricy, but worth it overall. We had calamari, cauliflower, truffle parm fries, and i had a saddle up burger. Calamari was delish, but a lot of tentacle pieces (i dig those, but my fiance does not), cauliflower was good but could have been crispier, fries were a bit on the soggy side, burger and chips were the stars. Love the bbq seasoning on the homemade chips. The chips were a bit stale. Burger was delicious. Service was okay. Id like to try this place when it isnt slammed to see if the service and food is a bit better. Not bad though. Would visit again for a burg.

This was our first restaurant visit after arriving to MN. Feeling pretty hangry at the time we decided to check it out. Our bartender was awesome who helped us out with the remaining time we had in Minnesota. I had the Trax Burger that hit the spot. Requested a side order of hot sauce for my chips. Ordered a dark beer to wash it down.

Made a reservation before a show at the Fillmore. Staff was great, food was tasty. I stopped in before close to get the churro ice cream sandwich to go. They packed it with such care!

Came here for dinner. Amazing food. Ordered the ghost wings and fries. Very delicious food. Wings were a bit spicy which was nice because love spicy food. Made reservations and only street parking. There’s only 1 unisex bathroom so had to wait awhile for other people. Overall food was good!

Good ambiance, really fun and friendly servers, ok location, parking is annoying, ok food quality. The drinks are fun, and I’d come back here again. But if you’re going to be a burger joint, I’d expect more. While I did enjoy my food, quality was average, and we need a lot more variety. The place is not what I thought, but I did enjoy it.

Erik our server was on fire! He was so prompt and pleasant. Really close attention to detail with our food and courteous as all places should be. Our food was fabulous. Some really great chips too made in house. Made for an addition to our beautiful night. Thanks! We will be back and I highly recommend this place.

A must-try spot in the twin cities! The full experience was top notch. Very rarely is every dish amazing and that was the case here. The place is beautifully decorated and cozy feeling while still having modern decor. Service was literally perfect! Plates were moved as needed, checked in on, fast, and had service refills for the bottle of champagne we had. Leftover food was boxed up for us as well. Waitor was also patient when I asked to take multiple pictures of the group. I'll be returning very soon!:)

The space Trax occupies is an odd one. And it is easy to miss or go by without never deciding to stop or give it a try. This is not a negative against the place but an observation to contrast with my experience. The food was good, the drinks were average to above average depending on what it was (I imbibed a bit too much and it got hazy). The staff work with extreme confidence and competence, and I was not disappointed by the trip there. I would suggest that anyone who would normally drive by and go "huh they have a place like that here?" Stop in and give it a try. You can have places that will excel in a certain dish or provide a certain set of drinks that distinguish it from others. Trax does everything well, master of nothing specific but incredibly competent with a bit of everything. This does matter, I have sipped and supped at many places that left me satisfied on one end but disappointed at another, and being able to walk away and go "this was a great all around experience" is becoming rare these days it feels.

Let me start by saying the food was excellent. If this was based on food alone it would be five stars. They lost a star due to service. We ordered appetizers that never came, and when our food came we reminded someone else about our appetizer and he came back and said there was an issue in the kitchen but it would be our shortly and it still never came. We also had to order twice, because our first order didn’t get put in, and after reconfirming twice someone in my party’s modifications still weren’t met. All in all a good experience, but definitely lacking in service. Everyone was friendly and kind, just a clear disconnect between the servers and the kitchen.

Wow. What. An. Experience. We came in on a Saturday alittle after 12 and there were maybe 6 tables filled. I know it’s newer but people need to hear about this place. We ordered the Wagyu Marrow burger(pictured), Saddle Up Burger, Parmesan and Truffle Fries(pictured), and the OMG Oreos(pictured). The Wagyu burger was to die for. The perfect mesh of flavors and a perfectly pink burger made this one of the best burgers I have ever had. The fries were crispy and fresh, they would’ve been amazing alone as well but I LOVE truffle which made them even better. My SO loves Oreos and the OMG Oreos are chocolate battered which added a really nice flavor. They were fresh and crispy and so good. Service was fantastic, our waitress was very personable and our food was made very timely maybe 10 mins(ish)for burgers and fries which all came out at the same time. Will most definitely be back to try more.

Went opening week to The Fillmore and stopped at Trax for date night with their vegetarian options to start, with hopes of having a meal, but the Tempura Cauliflower plus Mac & Cheese Bites but that along with a few libations were more than enough, so we finished with the OMG Oreo. So good! Even one of the manager Ryan stoppes to see how our meal was, and our waitress Hannah was great!! Cant wait for the next show here and starting at Trax.

Ate here last night and was very pleased! My mother and I ordered the Mac & Cheese Crunch as an appetizer, the Trax Burger and the Waygu Marrow Burger. It was all so good!! But the Waygu was amazing. The jam on in it that is fantastic. Will definitely be back, especially because they have the garage windows and will appear to have a great patio in the spring and summer.

We stopped into Trax before attending a concert at the Fillmore. Talk about convenient! It is a cool space with old Records all over the place. The bar itself was long and spacious with comfortable stools. They offer a good selection of canned and tap craft beer, along with a list of unique and delicious cocktails. I tried the Fat Washed Bourbon (bourbon, bacon wash, maple syrup and orange peel) and it was a great, sweet & salty way to enjoy bourbon! For dinner we got the Brussel Sprouts and split the Waygu Marrow and Saddle Up burgers. The Waygu Marrow burger was a Top 3 burger for me. Delicious!!

Sooo good! The braised bacon appetizer is enough for 4-6 people. The burgers are delicious. Highly recommended.

We visited this place Saturday with some close friends and were not disappointed. We started with The Twin Bullets and Barreled and Aged drinks which were excellent. We also had the Bacon Candy and Mac 'N Cheese Crunch which were delicious and complemented one another very well. My wife and had shared the Drunken Chicken Sandwich and Saddle Up Burger and they very good. My friend said the Trax Burger was also very good. We went in on Tempura Cauliflower and Truffle and Parmesan Fries from their "Side Piece" options and both were very tasty. I was tempted to get the ghost wings to go but was told that if I really enjoyed spicy wings I may be disappointed. I asked for some hot sauce and he brought out the ghost wing sauce and he was right. It was not spicy but pretty good, especially when dunking the cauliflower in it. It was indeed "Minnesota" Spicy. The music was a bit loud but did not overpower conversation and the mix was eclectic. Other than it being a bit chilly where we sat, the atmosphere was nice. We really enjoyed ourselves and I would come back. Food and Cocktails were a little on the pricey side but everything has gone up everywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised place was not very busy for lunch today which was kind of sad considering their food was great! Both burgers we got were awesome plenty of delicious chips to go with it. We also got the Mac and cheese balls for a appetizer which were awesome as well!

For a place with burgers in the title, the burger options were lacking. Buns were way too sweet, and the burger was just sort of lack luster. Staff was overly friendly and preoccupied with my kid in a strange way that was a little uncomfortable. Drinks were really good, but a bit over priced. The truffle fries were pretty good too. Would come back for the cocktails and apps, but would skip eating meals here.

I have now been here twice, and I can say that the service is beyond wonderful. The staff I've encountered from the beginning to end of my visit is nice, honest, and friendly. The food is so good. Every item is unique in its own way. The cocktails are pretty nice too, different yet classic at the same time. The only thing that sucks of course is the parking options, which are either expensive or far away but worth the walk! I will definitely be coming back.

I came here alone, before a concert and was very nervous. Everyone I met at Trax was so attentive and helpful! David the Bartender was extremely on top of making drinks/making sure I had everything I needed. Jason -- the Restaurant Manager made sure I was comfortable and having a good time. Rob the Bartender made sure that I was having fun and being safe before the concert. I will definitely be coming back here! Great staff, atmosphere, and company.

The atmosphere was the first thing that hit me. Open air and a neat concrete bartop which we got seated at promptly. The bartender was super friendly and chatted with us while we were waiting for our food. The burger (Saddle Up) I got was flavorful and juicy with the amount of mixing of flavors so nothing got lost. My wife got the Drunken Chicken which was also a wonderfully mixed set of flavors. We split an order of Parmesan Truffle Fries which were crispy without being burnt. We talked ourselves into splitting an order of the deep-fried chocolate Oreos, which just melted in your mouth. The friendly staff and fun atmosphere, plus it's proximity to Target Field really should put this more on your map if in Downtown Minneapolis.

I was underwhelmed. I ordered the Stable Burger and the Ghost Wings. The aioli sauce on the burger was good but overall the burger wasn't all that special. The wings were not spicy at all. Service was good.

Stopped by on my way to a Twins game and had the chicken sandwich. Man, that was tasty and filling. Their house chips are worth a try too. Good service, quick prep and fresh food. Looking forward to trying more things from the menu when I'm up here for another game.

The wagyu burger is probably one of the top 10 burgers I have EVER tasted and I realize the weight of that statement. Also Brandon was a great bartender and the manager bought me a drink for my birthday. Because of the bartenders I am bringing back my entire work team

David was awesome! Such a great customer service experience. Everyone was super polite and accommodating. We walked in 30 minutes prior to opening, and he had us sit down anyway and served us drinks. We were so impressed with his service and how polite everyone was! We will always go out of our way to go to this place when we are in town because of his service!

Delicious drinks. They have a dry ice machine to make bubbles on your martini cocktails. Really fun experience and good food.

Had a great meal at Trax! The Gobbler burger was delicious, and the BBQ chips are light, crisp, and not overly seasoned. Our server, Shane, was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. He was also conscientious about making sure we got out in time to get to the Twins game. Nice outdoor patio to watch the passersby, too.

I was expecting above-average bar food. I ate well-above-average bar food. Friendly staff. Priced a little bit higher than you’d expect but it’s a very good place to eat. Wings could use a marinade or soak, but are tasty. Good burger blend. Mac and cheese bites are very good as well.

Really fun bar connected to the Fillmore. Beautiful big open bar area perfect for catch the game or to get a drink before walking in the gates next door at Target Field. Only ate off the Apetizer menu but the local sausage dish was 10/10 and the rest of the food looks good! Will be back for more.

Went to Trax on their soft opening, Saturday before they officially opened and I was blown away! Customer service was amazing and our waitress knew a lot about the menu and offered great suggestions. We tried the calamari, the truffle fries, chili, macaroni and cheese and deep fried Oreos. Everything was amazing and had a unique flavor profile so I didn't feel like I was eating something basic. Deep fried Oreos are OUTSTANDING, they give you a lot but trust me they are just as delicious left over so bring the leftovers home!

Good atmosphere but we were a little disappointed with the food. Both the Trax burger and the chicken sandwich were extremely salty. At first I thought the culprit was the 'everything' seasoned bun (which is a good idea) but removing the bun it was just as salty. If they figure out the right balance of salt for their sandwiches I think this place has a lot of potential, but until that happens I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was good. Tried the Ghost Wings and they were made very well. They were not too spicy, I had a friend who doesn't like spicy food and he loved it. The Wagyu Marrow Burger was excellent and had a lot of good flavor to it. The Drunk Chicken/ their chicken sandwich was really juice and delicious.

Food was tasty. Good option to have during a concert, especially considering the lack of food in the area. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The drink prices are a bit steep, and hopefully aren't "venue priced" when there isn't a concert going. I think I saw a $9 price tag for a 12 ounce can of Gumball Head. At least they tell you the prices though.

Such a cozy and welcoming place with the best food! So much needed in Minneapolis! The menu is created very thoughtfully with anything you could be possibly craving – it’s pretty diverse. Everything is fresh, home-made and incredibly delicious! Love the presentation too! The staff if very friendly, super nice and knowledgeable. I stopped into Trax before the Fillmore soft opening and was impressed by the cuisine. I originally thought it would be a pretty weak menu based on what I'd read. I had the ghost wings and waygu burger, both were great. I'd recommend this to anyone at Target Field or The Fillmore but if you're coming from outside the area there are many good restaurants in the North Loop.

My girlfriend and I only stayed for a few drinks, but the service was great and everyone was polite and approachable. One of my favorite things about this place is the atmosphere. The design is very unique! Now I can't say how the food was because we did not order any at the time, but the food looked amazing!

No idea what the allure of this place is. It is connected to the new Fillmore concert venue. The drinks are considerably under poured and overpriced. The burgers are average at best. All the food on the menu is basically glorified bar food. If you're going to a concert this might be a convenient stop but if you are not it's not worth the trip.

Fast, polite, great food/drinks & service! Highly recommend - connected to the Fillmore! But make a reservation in advance if you want to sit down to eat, but walk-in if you just want drinks at the bar.

Went to Trax on Opening day ordered Local Market sausage...very good and the Trax burger this will be competing with the Parlour burger very good... very nice space will be back.. there prices on beer are high but i imagine they lower them if there competing for traffic in there restaurant

I want to like this place. The food and service is good, the location is great and I really dig the design of the place. Unfortunately, the drinks are hilariously overpriced. $10 for run-of-the-mill beer like Sam Adams. $15 for good but not great cocktails. The food is pricey too, but not quite as absurd as the drinks. Maybe if they rein this in I can justify returning but not until then.
