Reviews of TERZO
Amazing menu. Delicious flavors that made sharing so much fun. Fresh pasta and savory pesto.
Enjoyed the desserts. Fantastic wine selection and great service at the bar.
Food was excellent! Terzo is not your basic pasta and pizza Italian place, it feels much more authentic. Our server, Bradley, was very knowledgeable and helped us select delicious wines and foods, and his passion was contagious. Every person treated us like VIP's and clearly took great pride in providing excellent service. We will certainly be back!
It's a good Broder's experience. As expected the food was better than ordinary. Completely fresh and innovative recipes with bold flavors. They have an excellent cocktail menu and an ample selection of good wines and aperitifs and digestives. But for our dinner the cherry on the cake really was the waitress running out with the jacket my friend left behind and making sure we got her attention, adorable and sweet. Please go enjoy!
Phenomenal aesthetic and service. While the food is different than what you'd expect coming from the Broder's pasta crew, the menu is very versatile and contains something for everyone. Highly recommend this spot for date nights. Also the cocktails are fantastic!
I've visited both as a date spot and for their happy hour. Outstanding service from their bartender Mike each time and the food/drinks are never a miss. Will be returning and introducing more friends and family to this gem.
Great Italian food with a cozy, rustic vibe. We made a reservation last minute for a Saturday night so couldn't get in until around 9:30, however when we showed up about 45 minutes early they were able to seat us right away. The wine list is extensive with some great options, albeit nothing under $40—though they do also have wines by the glass. My friend and I shared the mussel appetizer and each had a plate of pasta. We ended up ordering the 'large' size which seemed to be the perfect amount (I ate all of mine, she had a small amount leftover to take home). I have to wonder if the half size portions, which I'd normally order, are too small. The olive oil cake for dessert was to die for, the sauce they poured over the top was so delicious I couldn't help lapping it all up.
Unfortunately we were seated next to a table full of obnoxious drunk people babbling as loud as they could—they left about halfway through our meal and then we were able to really fully enjoy the restaurant's vibe—north Italian, lots of wood and cabin feels. We were seated right next to the doors to the wine cellar, which was really beautiful. This is a great spot for a casual night our, a date, or something more formal. The bar area is super cute as well, I wouldn't mind sitting there for a glass of wine and a bowl of pasta sometime. I'll definitely be back soon!
We had never before been to this restaurant, even though it's been here for close to 10 years. We had fantastic service and excellent food. The atmosphere was intimate and semi-casual. If I lived in the neighborhood I would be here more often. Wonderful spot for a date night!
Best meal I have had in a while. We sat outside on the lovely patio. The waiter helped us pick a nice wine to pair with our meal. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back to try more.
Fantastic service. Accommodating and cheerful despite being understaffed. Our server Yohan was everywhere at once. Meeting our requests before we even thought to ask them. Loved my food, and it looked so beautiful too.
I've been meaning to try Terzo for sometime now. I decided to try three different courses from their menu: Wagyu Beef Carpaccio (antipasti), Pappardelle Alla Cacciatora (primi) and Roasted Chicken Breast (secondi). I liked everything I had but I feel the Chicken was probably the best dish.
Terzo was absolutely fantastic. Great dark night restaurant or just an upscale night out. The ambiance is intimate and the dining room is fairly small. However, it wasn't too loud for us to hear the waiter. The service was spot on. The star of the evening, besides my date, was the food. Incredible flavors, beautiful plating, and slightly adventurous. We chose to do 2 small plates, 2 apps, and split an entree. There wasn't a bad bite. The prices were a bit high, imo, but that in no way doesn't make this a 5/5 joint.
Had a fantastic experience at Terzo this evening. First, the wine offerings are great and although many are from Italy, the bartenders will give you samples until they hone in on your tastes. This is a great icebreaker to an otherwise intimidating scenario. Next, the food was also off the charts. We had the risotto bites with boar ragu and the steak tartare. Both equally great. Finally, in finished my meal with the Calabrian Porchetta sandwich and IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Seriously, don't hesitate coming to this restaurant!
Wonderful food, cocktails and exceptional service. Our new favorite spot.
Fabulous all around! I didn't want to leave the terrace. So comfortable and cozy! The wine list was perfection, great variety and the food was awesome! Easy to share everything!
Wemt there for restaurant week. The flavors of the food was fantastic but my risotto was undercooked and since it already took them forever to get the risotto to me, I didn't want to wait even longer to get a new one so I just ate it as is. The waiting time between each course was longer than I'd like.
Great food, atmosphere, and service. It’s a lovely neighborhood restaurant with a small well curated menu of delicious items.
We had a great experience at Terzo tonight. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is delicious, and the wait staff is friendly and knowledgable. All the Broder restaurants are great, but there's something a little more special about Terzo. We'll be back.
Came for dessert to go on our anniversary and were given a complementary gelato. Bartender was lovely, desserts were delicious.
My wife and I ate here last night, outstanding food, beautiful presentation, outstanding service, my wife had a delicious cocktail. We will be back!
Maybe the best Italian wine list I have seen!
Lovely Italian dining. Upscale and so so good.
Absolute delight. Been living nearby for four years and finally got to this place. The menu for Restaurant Week had a lot of variety making it hard to pick what was best. The service was excellent with everyone being extremely helpful and pleasant. Excited to go back.
The service and atmosphere was lovely! Top notch service. I thought the bruschetta we ordered was amazing! I also really enjoyed the Porchetta. The pasta was good but have had better in the twin cities.
I haven’t been here in a few years and I’m not sure why- dinner was amazing! We started with the shared plate for the table, followed by a half pasta portion for my main course, finished with a dessert. All the food was very flavorful and included seasonal dishes. Portion sizes were perfect and staff was very kind and attentive. Already want to go back for a date night!
Good
Food is really good if ur waiting for long for broders pastabar check this place out.
Same owner but more authentic menu
Price is affordable.
I tried seafood pasta(sqiud ink one)
Cooked fish
And porcheta bowl
All good portion felt bit small but I was very hungry. ( did not had time to eat for at least 30 hours
The food is good every-time. Handmade pasta. They have an amazing wine selection. Their salads are the best.
Excellent happy hour food and cocktails. Calabrian porchetta is the truth.
Everything was excellent as always- the wine, the food, the service!
Great ambiance. Cozy, high end vibe. Wonderful experience trying different red wines until I found the perfect one.
Highly recommend the truffle cream pasta. Can have as a full or half order. So, so good.
Cute, cozy place with delicious food, great drink options and excellent service.
Super wine selection.
Excellent Service and Friendly Staff.
If I could just rate the service and our server, it would be 5 stars. Our server was lovely, patient and fun! The food was very good. The wine selection was a little bit of a miss for us. Overall a very nice experience!
Outstanding food - following suit of the borders typical standard. The service lived up to the production level out of the kitchen. Great wine selection, and the menu is well balanced. Pasta is phenomenal and at the same time the best thing I had was a massive pork chop! A great staple of the south minneapolis community.
Terzo is now my number one contender for Italian food in the metro. It’s such a hole in the wall restaurant that I will recommend to everyone. The bruschetta and squid ink pasta were phenomenal. What blew my mind was the Stonefruit Del Monferrato as the dessert. It was a symphony and it was worth it all.
A do not miss neighborhood restaurant. It’s restaurants like these in my neck of the woods that make me proud of my city.
Excellent service and setting...a bit spendy but you get what you pay for in authentic, handmade southern Italian food. I'm not a wine drinker but the list is impressive (great local beer on tap as well). The plates are small but filling (without being that greasy kind of heavy), I'd suggest at least four for a date. It's a great place for a date night, family meal, or drinks and snacks. Small venue so consider making a reservation.
This place is amazing! The food is always beautifully prepared and tasty! I am always surprised at some of the ingredients or flavor combinations on the plate in a good way! I have had some of my best meals in the last year at Terzo. A reservation is strongly recommended since the place is small and intimate. You need to try this restaurant!
Great place to have a relaxing dinner with mom. Food is very fresh and filled with flavor
Three meals there this summer...a co-worker, a small group, and a dinner date. All were outstanding. I can barely read the menu and no chance at the wine list but the staff is helpful and the sommelier, Laura, is a great wine guide. Take advantage of the fixed price offering for your table (an appetizer, a small plate, and an entree for $40 per person). I'll be back!
My family went to Terzo for restaurant week. The staff were gracious, going above and beyond. The food was delicious! I would definitely recommend and go back.
OMG amazing. I was hungry and in the area and saw this restaurant on Google and so glad I picked up food from here. The Calabrian is amazing, I normally don’t like olives but I got them to try anyway and so good!!. And don’t get me started on the flourless chocolate cake. I was sad because Martina took theirs off the menu, but Terzo’s is just as delicious—literally melts in your mouth. I’m telling everyone I know to come here. Also fast service and they include a service fee for fair pay for their employees. LOVEEE
Oh my goodness... I've eaten at a lot of the twin cities best restaurants and we always seem to find some dish that doesn't meet our standard. However, at Terzo, every dish we had was delicious and perfectly prepared. They were 4 of us in our party so we got to eat about 85% of the menus and it was all fantastic. We may have had higher high points at other restaurants, but across the board we have not had such a consistently executed dinner. This is definitely a MUST try in the twin cities!
Eaten here many times with lots of great experiences, the food and wine selections have always been spot on. Reason for the 3 stars is I was very dissapointed in the size of the wine pours. $17 and $18 glasses of wine and the pours looked like a tasting. All I expect is an average pour, but especially when they are not shy on pricing, the pour should make you feel like you got a glass of wine. This will make me think twice about visiting again.
Solid Italian food, quality ingredients, and friendly service. Love the variety of the menu and seemingly endless drink list. It’s equally fantastic for a special date night out or casual evening of small plates and drinks at the bar.
The food was incredible. Seriously amazing. I do think it’s a bit pricy given their portion sizes. I went with a friend and we ordered two large entrees and two appetizers expecting to have a lot of leftovers afterwards and we easily finished all of the food. BUT the food is so good here so we didn’t mind. Try the shrimp bruschetta!
Make a reservation and go! Great Italian cuisine, cozy atmosphere and really good service.
Seems like it could be a good place to eat, but we may have caught them on a bad night maybe. Host was super friendly, waitress was friendly, but we got one drink, had to wait over an hour for our pasta and pork chop. Was told it was because the pork chop was really massive and takes a long time to cook.it wasn't. Many people who came well after us ate before we did. Food came out and you could tell it had been sitting for a bit. No apology offered.$100 for lukewarm food and an hour wait .We we're one of two groups on the patio too. Food could be good if we received it fresh. May try again but probably won't choose it over another place we want to eat at unfortunately.
Amazing food and wine. Very knowledgable bartender with great wine recommendations. Even though we went for happy hour we were hungrier... this was a spendy place! The porchetta sandwich was delicious and thankfully sold from window on the side in case I don't want to linger for more than a glass of wine.
We love cooking so had very high expectations for the food. The service was very good, and the staff was very knowledgeable about their liquor. However, rissotto was a mush. Disappointed by the uneven quality of food and high prices.
This place is amazing. First timers so we will be back. First meal spaghetti and meat balls. Best Italian food ever. Steve the gm super bedside manner.. runs a good ship. In fact we may be done testing Rochester's restaurants looking for me on a Rochester day at meal time look here first.
Terzo was an incredible surprise! Vibrant and varied flavors. Intriguing but also just deeply satisfying. The Calabrian porchetta had an astonishing saturation of flavor and the duck breast has so many layers of flavor and texture. We just felt great after our meal here. Laura was friendly and helpful with the menu and knew exactly when to pop by.
Came here with my friend and her 7 month old. Everyone was very nice and understand that a child is a child. But let me tell you, it was some of the best Italian food!!! Not a menu heavy on the pastas, but I see that as a plus as it really truly highlights the gifts of Italian cuisine. From the Wagu Beef Carpaccio, to the Risotto with King Crab and Corn, to the Duck Sausage, or the roasted carrots with goat cheese. This was a meal that tastes like Fall. Beautifully done, and super delicious!!! Next time I am definitely coming here for a dinner date with the husband.
Wonderful ambience and food. Staffs are very friendly and courtseous. Loved the wine selection. The sea bass dish we ordered, was perfect. The dessert menu is kind of not up to the mark I would say.
I came here once because I had a coupon. We came at a weird time (I think right when it opened) and were the only patrons in the restaurant. I ordered a sandwich and a glass of wine, both of which were very good. The service and atmosphere are also great. I'd like to try this again next time I'm in the Edina area.
Took my mom for Mother's Day dinner. It's a little (okay, lot) more expensive than my usual restaurants. Everything was excellent - risotto, pasta, cheese plate appetizer, gelato, coffee. One indication to me that my mom remembers it fondly is that she corrects me to say that the cheese plate was served "with honey and walnuts." Plus, I messed up the online reservation for a SATURDAY night, and they found a table for us. 🙂👍
The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable. The ambience was okay. The prices were pricey. We had a great time. If you have a full wallet, this is a great place to empty it while enjoying a meal. I had the pork chops. Awesome!
Excellent food. Oysters were great. Chicken pate was rich and awesome with peaches and mustard. The staff and friendly, knowledgeable and could not be kinder. Highly recommend.
To be clear, the food was fantastic.
The ONLY reason I'm giving this three stars is because our server kept pushing us to buy $80 - $100+ bottle of wine. What the hell?!
After suggesting several bottles that were expensive, and given the close quarters, I had to finally be clear with them to say how much we would be willing to pay for a bottle of wine. A professional would tactfully first ask what our price range would be to select an appropriate bottle rather than pushing immediately for a higher price. Pure amateur, and completely unprofessional.
I'd like to think this is an individual server issue rather than a management decision to push for higher priced wines onto their customers...
Food was amazing and the staff was so nice and helpful with picking dishes and wine. Loved the atmosphere too, casual but secluded enough we could have our own conversation with out over hearing other diners.
Great experience. Busy but not so loud you can't enjoy a conversation. Best Italian wine list in MN by far. Staff is willing and able to guide you as you desire.
The food greatly exceeded my expectations even though I've had their sandwiches and know they're also amazing. I was also surprised how good their tap list is because that's something I think wine bars often overlook, but not here.
Excellent wine selection; well edited with staff that can make accurate recommendations. Great food (particularly the treatment of tuna and veal) and a fabulous patio when weather permits. Great customer service.
The duck ragu tortellini was fantastic. Wish I’d had room for dessert because the options looked excellent. Service was okay, although there were a couple little errors and hence the 4 stars.
I lived in Florence, Italy for 6 months when I was 20. This is the closest thing to my favorite 10-table enoteca with the most authentic Italian food I've had since returning to America. If you love wine, and if you love traditional Italian recipes with a twist, you cannot go wrong here. It's my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis.
Top 3 things:
1. They take reservations
2. Well portioned dishes to create a dinner course
3. Porchetta
Wish I knew ahead of time:
1. Parking lot is tiny but there is plenty of space on side streets
2. Desserts here are amazing, save room!
Excellent small plates and a great wine list. The service was great. The menu was in French, so this could be challenging or fun depending on your perspective.
Good service, relaxing atmosphere. As others have mentioned, it is spendy and, at times, pretentious. That said, the service was top notch and very knowledgeable, and the wine list interesting and extensive. The plum dessert was AMAZING!
One of our new favorites! The service was phenomenal. Fabulous wine selections picked by our waitress and absolutely delicious food.
We have dined twice at Terzo and had a wonderful experience both times. The waiters are very attentive and the food is excellent! Perfect for a nice evening out.
Lovely service and really great pasta! Surprisingly good beer selection along with an extensive wine list. Best value for gelato in the city.
Porchetteria at Terzo is awesome (little baguettes packed with slow cooked pork and drizzled with awesome sauce). It's located in the parking lot and the hours are different from Terzo--and I assume seasonal as well because it's a walk up counter that you pull a string to ring a bell in the kitchen for one of the cooks to take your order. The sammies are great, homemade chips are pretty good. I don't know if I'd pay extra for the slaw, but it's OK.
The service was great and the all-italian wine selection was top notch. The food, however, was lackluster and very expensive for what you get. I'd go back for the wine bar but not the restaurant side. Stick to Broders!
Great wine selection and knowledgeable staff. Cozy Italian vibe with personable service. Food was delicious as well. Great spot for wine and some Italian food.
Comprehensive wine list, quality food, and attentive and professional servers make this a must-go in the Twin Cities. Can't wait to visit again.
One of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. We love the knowledgable staff, the ambiance and the food is amazing. Every single time!! We highly recommend this place.
One of the most ballin restaurants in the TC. if you like good food check it.
Must get the chicken liver patte! Everything tasted perfect; mushroom ragu on pasta, pork chop, bronzino and duck breast. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Northern Italian fare at its finest. Knowledgeable staff, extensive wine offerings, and decadent desserts bring the whole meal to a high level of perfection. Abbastanza magnifico!
This is my favorite restaurant to sit at the bar for a casual yet delicious meal and glass of wine. Friendly bartender, lovely owner and warm ambiance.
Always delicious! Cozy place with a great staff, good wines. Highly recommend neighborhood spot.
Scrumptious! We had a table of 10 people and everyone loved it! Nice selection of wines, attentive staff.
Very well paced, exquisite meal.
Amazing food and ambiance, but the welcoming and savvy bartender made the best suggestions for a perfect evening. This is my favorite go to.
Very good food as expected but the experience in the new addition is sub par.
Some of the best food in S. MPLS. Excellent Bae with an abundant wine and beer selection. Very nice patio. Superior service.
F&^%/ng phenomenal. So good. The food felt authentically Italian.
The food was excellent. The wine list was extensive. The service was knowledgeable about both.
This... Is.... The best....absolutely the best sandwich ive ever had in my life, and im already looking forward to the next taste. The sandwich window on the side of the building. Unreal!
Consistently fantastic. One of my three fine dining option in the twin cities. Worth saving up to go there and splurge.
Great food and great service. We've eaten there several times, and it's always been fantastic.
Great food with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Get all three courses. This place is about quality, not quantity.
Always good! Good staff and the folks that you sit next to add to the experience... it's like a cozy European restaurant.
Great wine bar and great food. Had the Calabria sandwhich and a killer barolo...this place is the real deal.
Food, service and wine. Really really good. Very knowledgeable on pairing wine with each entre.
Good food, not your typical choices for italian. Great wine list
Small menu...Also add the 15% Mpls restaurant hospitality tax
Not your typical pulled pork. Great porchetta sandwiches with amazing home made chips.
Great wine selection. Unique decor. Delicious Italian fare.
good service and decent food, slightly pricey and could offer more options on the menu
Fantastic service and food. Server picked a fantastic wine that didn't break the bank.
A+ Staff.... Killer wine selection. Food was A+ However, the staff made this place a 10/10
Every element of our experience was outstanding, from each bite to each sip ... from the service to the atmosphere. Cheers!
Great happy hour! Delicious food. Cordial staff.
Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and helpful servers.
Delicious small plates and nice Italian wine selection. Spends.
Fast and simple pick up. Amazing pork sandwiches. The best!
Best roast pork with greens sandwich this side of Johns Roast Pork in Philly
Great good. Vegetarian options and wine is excellent.
A bit on the pricey side. Wait staff is trained and knowledgeable on wine.
Food was good. Very cool atmosphere. Service was a little slow
Try the flat iron steak. Prepared excellently and a quality cut of meat.
Great service, great wine, great food, lovely setting!
Excellent food, nice location and good service. Will come again
Amazing selection on wine. Great service & food

Fascinating and creative menu.
Great wine bar
A classy neighborhood place.
Pricey, but worth it.
First date kinda place.
You must try this place
Excellent Italian good
Awesome food!
It was great.
Great branzini
World class!
Ambiance, food, drinks, and service - good. But: there was a surprise 15% "benefits and equity" charge added to the bill, "not a gratuity". Please include that in your prices or be upfront and transparent about it. We will not be back.
Knowing how good Broder's is, I came to Terzo with high expectations. My friend and I went to Terzo for dinner, and we left the building feeling very fulfilled. Since most people recommended the porchettas, my friend and I both got that. I had the calabrian porchetta, and she had the mushroom porchetta. Needless to say, the slow-roasted pork was a definite highlight! It was tender, flavorful, and juicy, and I don't even normally eat pork. The porchettas' individual flavor profiles were elevated by the respective types of aioli, but it was evident that the pork was the dominant ingredient. We also enjoyed the mousse di fegato, which contained a good combination of chicken liver (can be bitter to some) and sherry gastrite / angostura mustard (leaning towards sweet). Finally, the torta gianduja is a dessert that I have seen from a Star Tribune article, and I have been longing to try it. It was a 10 out of 10! The hazelnut in the bottom complemented the layers of chocolate (different texture each layer) so well, on top of the sea salt, in addition to the cocoa powder on the side, that every bite was as enjoyable as I could imagine from a chocolate cake, which I typically would dismiss as too "bready." Overall I recommend this place, especially regarding the porchetta that my friend and I had tried! We did not try any primi or secondi here, but I wouldn't be surprised if others have positive experiences with those dishes!
