Reviews of Sushi Train
Katy Mullen
Fantastic sushi experience! Fresh and flavorful with a terrific variety! They also have a full menu alongside the sushi boats!
They have a computer chip on the bottom of their sushi 🍣 plates that times how long the plates are on the belt, and when they expire, are automatically taken off the belt system!
Wonderful staff as well! The service is great!
Stephanie Dobbs
Sushi was very fresh & delicious, and they have an incredible selection including lots of sides and desserts. Each plate has about 4 pieces of sushi on it so it’s a great place to go if you want to try different things without having to pay for entire rolls. Even though it was really busy our waitress was very attentive so we did not have to wait long to check out once we were done eating.

People are often leary of places like this where food is "pre-made" but trust me on this, it's fresh! You see the sushi chefs preparing it all and the truth is in the flavor. I'm from the East Coast. Believe me when I say that this is quality food. Maybe a bit fancier/Americanized to appeal to more palates but tasty nonetheless. You're charged according to plate color and the prices are clearly displayed in the restaurant. Staff is also super nice and make you feel welcome immediately. I'm a fan!
Andrew Sean
The idea of conveyor belt sushi might seem a bit strange, but I can attest that this place does it right.
The sushi tasted fresh, was well made and priced at a reasonable point, and came in a variety of different options with a little something for each palate/diet.
Our server was also very friendly, polite, and amusing, adding a dash of fun to the whole experience. I would definitely visit again.

Amazing concept!! You will get the sushi on train and you can choose what you want! Lots of variety including vegetarian options. On belt you will even get the desserts or appetizers.
If you want to choose to order from menu you can do that as well. They give the free Sake to father’s on Father’s Day!
RunningOn Empty
I’m glad I spotted this across the street from our hotel. Fun experience and excellent food! Between my brother and I we spent $100 but it was well worth it for a treat like this. Stand outs for me were the baby octopus and the scallops. Everything was super fresh and we had great service. Definitely will stop again when I’m in Minneapolis 🍱 😋
Michael Barnes
We were so excited to finally experience this way to enjoy sushi. It was better than expected and the staff was fun and personable. Highly recommend!
#Hashtag SteveJ
Toot toot! This stop - soooo full. Sushi train is a super fun experience! Good sushi and plenty of it. Kani salad and hot appetizers too. Noodle bowls as well. Fun staff.
Bunny “Becky-Boo” Goken
Conveyor belt sushi at your fingertips! Color coded plates so one is able to tell prices. They also have vegetarian/vegan choices available! *Tip: get there before the dinner rush - preferably prior to 6pm! Otherwise you may have to wait up to 2 hours to be seated!
Teresa Bintner
Amaaazing sushi!! Ready made fresh from the kitchen and placed in a covered dish on a conveyor belt that circulates through out the restaurant- you pick what you want as you want it!! Great spot. Great staff. Have been back several times and hope to go again soon.
Esther Lee
Pretty good variety of offered items! Our wait staff was attentive, and the sushi from the conveyer belt was good. We also ordered off the menu and enjoyed that as well. Always a fun experience!
Geno Benshoof
Cool experience, and the fish was fresh. The place was a little greasy on the way to bathroom, which was weird.
Be careful with grabbing plates as it is very easy to rack up the bill!!
Jacob Snow (RelanMcStone)
I was a little worried coming here, based on some other reviews complaining about service; our experience was entirely different though. Service was relatively fast, and definitely very friendly.
When we came they were on a very short waiting list (single-digit minutes) so were definitely busy, leading me to believe the friendliness wasn't just because they were slow, or that politeness suffers when they get busy.
The sushi all looked very good, and there was a large selection. Some things were a bit pricier than average for the area but nothing was out-of-line as far as expense.
I'd definitely come here again, and those in my party (of 3) agreed.
Chris Fliehr
Quick service, friendly staff, clean restaurant. Normally with this style of sushi, you get cheaper cuts to keep the food costs down. Not here! Plenty to be enjoyed. The good stuff just keeps coming! Some really unique rolls to enjoy as well, my favorites were maybe the Cajun or double shrimp. Go in hungry, leave happy.
Morgan Mains
What a fun way to enjoy sushi! We've been twice now with each of our older kids. They loved it too. There are fun Japanese sodas as well. It's not the cheapest sushi in town...but its just as fun as any hibachi or teppanyaki we've been too!
Staff has always been awesome! It can get super busy so br prepared for that during peak hours. They have a bar too! Try some sake based drinks while you wait!

i was walking around Loring Park and had an awesome dinner. huge fan of the conveyor belt sushi scene, and this one is in an awesome location. great food, and the employees rock. be back soon.
Kimberly Kay Urban
What a fun experience! I love being able to see how the food looks on the conveyor belt of food, and it gives you a chance to try new things that you wouldn’t normally order. All of the bus foods are on the purple plate, which is the most expensive of course! I love that there is an option for kids to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches rolled up, and the deserts are amazing!
Tu Tu
Had a wonderful dining experience. We went on after lunch time on Sunday and the place was still pretty packed, no wait though which was great. The food and service were both fantastic, slightly on the expensive side as the plates add up.
Tsai-Ling Chen
This is actually the first time we are being here for the
Sushi And we are very pleased to enjoy the meal in The restaurant a pretty good service food is also yummy fresh Made but only thing is just FYI if you want to go over on the weekend you better calling up to make the reservation for you self otherwise you are going to stay there and wait for 30mins up the most
Jovan Knutson
Surprisingly good sushi! My sister and I were sure it would be mediocre and the train was a gimmick, but it was actually very tasty! They primarily focus on simple sushi options, but they do it really well!
Lucy Davis
Great sushi! Glad we could get our food quickly and try things we probably wouldn’t have just because we could see it before we got it. Loved the train concept.
Thundup Tamang
Waiter was rude enough to start us with saying you cannot share, which was weird. Miso ramen wasn’t as good. Sushi was good but didn’t find much difference. Comparatively people pay more than a dollar for a piece of roll. Overall good ambience. Didn’t feel like we’ll be back again here after we left.
Norman M. Wereley
I very much enjoyed my two lunches in two different days. Food and service are both excellent. I tried sushi, sashimi and miso ramen and all were excellent. It is too much fun to watch all of the sushi choices travel past as I eat… so tempting though to try more plates!
JOSE MIGUEL ASTURIAS CALDERON
I lost my ramen virginity here, and it felt so good!!! Recommend the miso ramen, it’s the best! The sushi rolls are great also. Highly recommend this place!
Nicolete Mychele’
The BEST experience ever! Love the sushi and the options! Waitress was very polite! Definitely want to go back!
Angie K
I've been to Sushi Train a handful of times. It's a very fun experience and the sushi is good! I noticed I enjoy going here for lunch rather than dinner time. The times I have gone during dinner it's been really busy and the past couple of times during dinner the sushi just wasn't as great (flavor-wise and possibly quality-wise) as I have experienced in the past, which happened to be during lunch. There was less variety to choose from but I realize that is likely due to others picking the rolls I was wanting. I'll still be back!
Stinky Moe
Convenient, fun for kids, but not that tasty. Better than grocery store but comparable to Osaka
Aaron Jelley
I've always loved the conveyor concept and was not disappointed. The raw sashimi tasted fresh and delicious, and they also had many different rolls and nigiri to choose from, as well as dessert items like macarons and cake. Just beware, because as the plates pile up, so does the cost as it is priced per plate, but well worth the visit.
Emmy_kitty
So delicious and fresh! My boyfriend and I went here for lunch and it was such a great choice! Usually since I am vegetarian I do not eat sushi or I don’t like it, however this place was amazing. They had several vegetarian options and I loved all the ones I tried. Will be coming back with friends! The atmosphere is also unbeatable and the vibe is so good. I felt like a kid in a candy store.
Matthew Logel
Cool idea, good sushi and pretty affordable. Sushi ranges from 2-6 dollars per plate. I was expecting most of them to be more expensive but it seems like most of the plates were less than 6 dollars. We came an hour before they closed. We weren't able to be seated and sushi selections were limited. We were in a bit of a rush so we grabbed plates off the sushi belt and got plenty for 2 people. I would definitely recommend you to come earlier if you want to enjoy the sushi belt. If you can't make it in time. Just order to go and don't pull off the conveyor belt.
Will Dietrich
Great sushi. This is a really fun way to have dinner. Prices are based on plate color. The basic price structure is simple items are cheaper, fancier rolls are more expensive. Rolls are fantastic, sushi is fresh and delicious. Make a reservation if you go on a weekend evening. Great experience, really fun!
Allen Atkins
This was my first time coming and I definitely will be back…. My daughter loves sushi and she wanted to try a spot with a sushi train…. It was a fun experience for both of us…. And we tried some types of sushi for the first time
Our server, Jessica was amazing.. She was on the go the entire time and still kept a smile on her face the entire time…. She explained how it works to us and came back to check on us and other customers in a timely manner.. A good person like Jessica also adds to the experience
Overall Rating: A+++
Keith L
Very fun experience, sushi was okay, a few of them really good but some below average, 3 star food with 5 star fun.
Richard B
Had at least 14 dishes at Sushi Train, and this is our fourth trip here. Each time, it's a better experience.
Bee Shindou
Excellent fun! Pretty pricey but worth it. Our stack was around $70
Shadow Laviolette
Took my son and daughter in law here. Everyone found something they liked! Peicibg was good and the selection was great. Cant wait to go back again!
Lisa millard
Clean inside. Neat way to dine. We ordered to go but definitely had a awesome atmosphere going on. Portions were small compared to other sushi places and a little more pricey but for the fun of it .... its worth it. Ramen was good. Quick service and friendly staff.
Matthew Knisely
I went here with some friends on a trip. I only ordered the ramen which was really good. since I don't like seafood, but my friends seemed to really like it. Even beyond the food this was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The servers were incredible. Friendly attentive. I could not recommend the place enough
Clarissa Hoffmann
Fresh food, beautifully made, visually pleasing. It was fun to see different options "ride" past while eating. Pricing was incredibly reasonable. Nice location, although you may have to pay for parking and/or walk a few blocks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cant wait to return.
Ben Webster
Me & my 11 & 12 year old daughters LOVE this place. As their dad I love that they love this type of healthy food. Plus the vibe is super cool here, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the price is reasonable, and the conveyor belt going around the whole inside of the restaurant is a super fun concept. Would recommend this place to anyone!
shayne zroback
Sushi Train is the Bomb!! Great food, so much variety. They cover all the bases here. I would highly recommend Sushi Train. If anything go for the experience! You will not regret it.
Cass Schmidt
Such a fun experience! The sushi was great and the pricing/portions were perfect. My server was extremely friendly as well. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town!
Kevin Kuglin
My wife and I love going to sushi train! We never have a bad experience coming here and the waitresses are always super friendly and attentive to our requests.
Conveyor belt sushi is a brilliant idea and it should be everywhere!
As long as this place is open, we’ll always be back for more. Thank you, Sushi Train!
Lando Ewok
This was the best sushi I've had. Frequent sushi places alot down in FL and this is far better than any I've been to. Highly recommended. They explain the whole process to you before you start and it's definitely a great experience.
George
This sushi was really good and the restaurant had a fun atmosphere. They serve half portions of sushi rolls so you can mix and match your choice of rolls. You just stack up the different colored plates to total your bill. They also had a good beer selection on tap and they allow you to build your own togo sushi plate. I would definitely go back.
Prim Ilagan
Sushi Train is a fun experience for the eyes. It's a visual treat to see all the colorful sushi roll by and you can just grab it. The menu is extensive from the complex maki to a simple PB&J sushi. Price of items are based on the color of the plates, at the end plates on the table are counted and totaled.
Quintin Kreth
Sushi Train is a fun restaurant, especially for a group visiting Minneapolis. My sushi was pretty good, although a little lacking in flavor and expensive. Although, we are quite far from the ocean. The original rolls were creative and good. Overall, it's a fun restaurant.
Jaimie Hamilton-Antonson
We had a great meal at the sushi train. The sushi was fresh and there were lots of variety. Winnie was our waitress and she was so attentive and fun! Can't wait to go back!
Josh Fay
Amazing joint. Knowledgeable smart staff. The food is out of this world, and of course the little steam trains that raise around the railroad tracks delivering you good are so cute. Don't worry, the hamsters they use as conductors have been food safety certified.
Erin Newling
What a fun experience! We had a bit of a wait but Winnie at the bar was so friendly and helpful! When we were seated we were lucky to have Jessica as our server - she was funny, nice and very attentive - even in a busy atmosphere! We will be back!
Colin Perucco
We had so much fun here! The atmosphere was fresh and clean and the sushi was great. For the amount we ate (and drank) the cost was exactly what we expected. We will absolutely be back!
Tiffany Cheng
i think the food is highly priced for the small portion we get. their purple plates are the most expensive but better quality. i wouldn’t recommend getting their desserts because they’re just mediocre... i think the most worthwhile dishes to get are the sushi dishes (purple). this style of restaurant is designed for you to grab and eat, so it’s tempting to grab any dish without thinking too much about the price... my friend and i ended up spending $60 in total
Erik Eisenstein
Quality fish, the Sushi Chef's here seem to know what they're doing. The far back corner could use some finishing touches though, as far as style and decor goes... But other than that, and the prices being a little steep, a great place to grab some sushi.
Shaun Kang
Love their salmon sushi and shrimp tempura. The best!!! However, dine in is sometimes challenging because of the grease smell. Wish they improve ventilation.
Caroline Begley
Good sushi, but a little expensive. Not sure how long some of the sushi had been out for. Also the air was “spicy” and made our eyes water. Very good if you’ve never had sushi in that form before.
Abi Rench
Went once with a friend and had a great time- good food and atmosphere. Came back with a group of 6 and were told we had to sit at the group table which we didn't want as the end people are far away from the train which is the whole reason we went. Ended up sitting in two booths as we were all separate checks but the manager came and yelled at us and said we HAD to sit at the big table, I explained why we didn't want to sit there and that we were all separate so would just break into 2 groups. The manager wasn't about to let that happen so we had to threaten to walk out, only then did she allow us to finally sit to the two booths. There was no line of waiting people, half of the restaurant was open. The manager then was very rude to the table she was serving eventually Leaving half our group unattended so the waitress stepped in. Our waitress was amazing and kept apologizing. The manager lady seems to be the issue here, everything else was great, however we will check out the new mall location instead of having to deal with her again!
Christina Thompson
So yummy, I had various rolls and everything was so fresh and delicious. It’s also fun to watch the plates going by! My server was also attentive and friendly.
Tiffany Nguyen
The food was fresh and delicious, the waitress was so nice, and the conveyor belt delivery was super fun! The only down side is that they make their wasabi in house so the fumes really started to irritate our eyes.
Paul H
Great quality food, great service. Sushi is expensive but the menu items are very reasonable so you can budget if you select a few sushi items as appetizers for a menu item.
Gavin Olson
This place is fantastic! Not only is the concept cool and the conveyer system brilliant but the sushi is really good. Don't hold back either, the prices are very fair. Eat up!!
Rebecca Drusch
My favorite sushi place in town. Love the ambiance and the place is always packed. The moving sushi conveyor belt is fun every time!
Alycia Brun
Sushi was good, but they package all your rolls together in the smallest container possible. For example, they put hot rolls together with cold ones, therefore making them all lukewarm.
Jack Marek
We had a delightful, light dinner here. The only drawback was that items off the conveyer were no longer cold. It was late (after 8pm) and some slushy snow and ice kept the sensible people indoors that night, and then there's COVID-19, so there were very few people in the restaurant, which undoubtedly contributed to slow turnover on the line. We got tuna sashimi, edamame, ika (squid) salad, and a Fancy Tuna Roll off the line and tobiko gunkan, unagi (eel) nigiri, and miso ramen off the menu.
Like other conveyer-style sushi restaurants, prices at Sushi Train are based on the color plate they come on, so you just keep your stack of small plates until you are done, and they total your order from that. A few menu ordered items, like the ramen, are exceptions. Prices for conveyer items range from $2.75-$6.25, and favor the higher end of that range.
In general, we found the items of good to excellent quality. Most notable was the unagi and the ramen. The eel was freshly grilled and hot, the way it should be. Note, however, that I ordered from the menu so it was made fresh, not off the conveyer. The miso ramen was the real start of the night, thought, being a delicious combination of miso soup and a traditional ramen with egg, fishcake, and other garnishes. The only real complaint about the food was that the edamame needed a bit of salt.
If you've looked at Sushi Train's menu and wondered, like I did, why the sushi rolls are so cheap, it's because they are only 4 pieces, rather than the 6 or 8 you might get elsewhere. I actually consider this a plus, because I don't have to commit to a $15+ eight piece roll, especially if I'm the only one who will be eating it. My wife and I were able to pick individual favorites without having to consider whether the other person liked it too.
Haley Davis
Such a cool experience and our waitress really made everything even better. Best sushi I've had.
ARKAJYOTI CHANG
Really good food. Some more clarity about closing time would have been good. I went before christmas though, so I dont blame them entirely. But again, very good selection of food.
Haley Casterton
First time eating here. Server was Jerry (hope I spelt his name right) he was wonderful! We will definitely be back! :)
Natasha Carlson
Sushi is really good and the gimmick is interesting but the atmosphere is extremely casual. Better for a work lunch than a night out.
Marshall Mason
cool and unique experience but I think it was a little expensive. the waitress was absolutely amazing though and she seemed super busy. hope she gets praise cuz she deserves it.
Jailin Perez
Not very good ventilation. The air gets irritating to the eyes from the frying and cooking. Love the sushi. good enough variety of fish
Cherry Shen
Love how they duplicate the sushi train from japan to Minneapolis. The salmon is fresh and delicious. Downside is the price, the four plates shown in picture are $21.50 total, exclude tip and tax. You’re not walking out full unless you spend over $40 total per person (tax and tip). Service was great though!!
Alissa Elles
What a cool concept and fun experience. Host and waitress welcoming. Gratuity added for 5 people which seems excessive when the waitress is only filling drinks. Especially for us the soda machine was down and she didn't even notice and we had to wait for beverages and refills. Noticed not many affordable options, lots of higher prices sushi on the belt. Food was decent. Overall fun experience but we probably won't visit again.
Krista Gordhamer
So much fun! The final price will add up fast if you're not careful. Like I am not careful. Sushi plates vary in color which dictates the cost. You stack them up and that's your total at the end. Most expensive plate was $5.75 bit of course I had 3 of them. Wish they had more tap beer choices but still very cool place.
Victoria Perez
Best sushi I've ever had! I absolutely loved the salmon avocado rolls. ❤️ The waitresses, Jessica, was so nice. She checked on us at the right times; the service was great! I loved the variety of sushi plates. This place is so good and amazing!
Miriam Ouellette
First time eating here and it was the best experience I have had in a long time! The food was amazing and service was even better!
Tiki B
Had to try it at least once. Charges rack up quick. Enjoyed service and extra care.
jesse boom
Love this place! We all like a variety of different sushi, and lots of it, so this is always a great option. We get a little bit of everything, and all our favorites. Food was very fresh and flavorful, lots of options all very fairly priced, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Alex Melendez
I ordered takeout and the fish was fresh and the service was great. I feel like the rolls are really small though. Even for the price you get. But I would still go back
Heidi Z. Vanegas
We love coming here when we visit Minnesota. It's fun for all ages to grab sushi from the conveyor belt and it's always delicious. Waitstaff are helpful and will bring you rolls that you don't see immediately available. Love love the salmon lover and seared salmon rolls.
BJBarbie
Such an amazing experience. i hadn't been here before and our waitress was very welcoming and explained the concept, which was very easy from start to finish. The wait on a Saturday night was only 30 minutes for me but that would be a lot different for bigger parties of people. I believe they do either reservations or call-aheads which would be a good idea for anyone planning to go. Also the food was amazing, they served some sushis that i had never seen before at other restaurants and even serve desserts and gluten-free options.
Cory D. D. Miller
TOOT TOOT and ALLLLLLLLL ABOOOOOOOOOARD for this delicious experience snugged away in downtown Minneapolis.
From the moment that I walked into the restaurant the staff was simply amazing. The customer service was outstanding and the restaurant was so clean.
Now let’s talk a lil sushi. I had my doubts at first but Sushi Train delivered. It was very tasty and I got to try a lot of news types that I was afraid of before. The great thing is that they are little taster plates and easy to eat!
Highly recommend!!!
Carlie Kleckner
Good sushi and service, but the smell of grease was overwhelming and made my eyes burn. Definitely need a better ventilation system.
Chad Moore
Omg what an amazing experience!!! Great friendly staff and the mecca of sushi!!! Definitely making a trip back!!!
Dwight Ong
A little pricey for sushi but I guess it is an experience. Some sushi was definitely really delicious and some were just eh. It can be a toss up if it is your first time but I can see how you can develop a feel as to what is good and what isn’t good.
-I personally loved the ika salad and the eel. The rainbow roll was good as well.
-To me this is more of a one time thing as I think there are better sushi places.
Scott Deyo
This is the only place that I know of in town where you can get the conveyor belt sushi experience!
The seafood seems to be "as fresh as you can get it" being located here in the upper Midwest and thousands of miles away from any ocean. Everything we had was delicious! There was a good variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, as well as some unique items, such as seaweed salad and crab salad. Some items are vegetarian-friendly, and are well labeled. Cooked & raw items are available, and are also well labeled.
Plates are color coded, and you are charged by the plates on your table at the end of you dining, so you do have some control over how much dinner will cost. However, you are paying for seafood in the Midwest, so expect to pay at least $25 per person (conservative estimate and fully dependant on what you order, how much you eat, and what you drink).
We were there at 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening and it was not crowded; we were easily able to get a table for 3 with no wait.
Madi Neuman
this place is amazing! sushi is great, servers are great, and the train has a wide variety :) will come again
Daniel Dahl
Very delicious and fresh! The only thing I found odd is that all items on the conveyor are cold so some things Usually served hot only come cold. This included things like edamame that still tasted good and had good texture, it just seemed weird to eat cold. Also if you really like your spicy rolls with the crunch this might not be the best place to get it, still great flavor, just not my favorite mouth feel if it isn’t super fresh. Over all a great way to try new sushi dishes and a fun atmosphere everyone should try at-least once.
Chris Daniels
Great food, fast service just wait for you favorite sushi to come by on the conveyor (grab the smoked salmon sushi as it goes by it is heavenly) and come hungry because it is all good. Think of it as a build your own sushi adventure.
Vattsa Mehta
Great Service and fun concept. Veg and gluten free options also well labeled
Paul Nissenson
A very cute set up and nice service. A variety of sushi is continuously created by the chefs, and everything is color coded so you know exactly how much each dish costs.
Gao Xiong
Has a variety of rolls, but not the most exotic or special. Prices per plate are quite expensive. Nice one time experience and probably won't go back. Want to make the most of your money? I suggest you go to an AYCE sushi like Kyoto. Same thing just without a conveyor belt, plus there are extras like fried foods.
Trina S
Decent selection of vegan options, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Angela Swaney
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING food! Great variety of cooked and raw sushi. Everything was fesh and flavorful. Several vegetarian options. And our server, Yann was simply THE best!
Devon Carlson
Great sushi experience. From Spicy Tuna to Edamame to PB&J rolls, they seemed to have great options even for people with dietary restrictions.
Chelsea
Such a fun place to go to. They have sushi on different color plates on top of a a moving train. The plates are colored to go with the price of the sushi. Every time I bring a friend and we each spend around $20. I love sushi train.
Mark Madigan
This place is amazing. Sushi comes around on a conveyor belt. You take what you want and pay by plate. Great drinks and friendly staff!
Katie Carpenter
Have not dined in but have ordered via Grub Hub many times. -Always quick, always fresh, always beautiful presentation, considering being packed and delivered. Their menu hits all key elements that are a must for desirable sushi restaurants: soups, salads, cooked & raw menu staples as well as unique fusion rolls that haven't already been over played (Cajun roll w/ crayfish slaw, jambalaya spices, mango), mochi, ramen & Ramune, rice bowl, tempora. They also have several other fried items including chicken katsu and calamari, fried oysters, takoyaki, and agedashi. -but also chicken wings, french fries and sweet potato fries. Lastly, two standout items are the pbj rolls, which are 4-double sushi width- white bread/pb/grape jelly rolls for $2.45 {My kid's love it, even if just for the novelty of it}. And, they carry several flavors of macarons at a time! [4/$5.95] That is usually an additional point grabber in our home.
Prices are on point or better with comparative offerings. We will need to stop by the restaurant when able.
Minjae Kim
Good sushi, and their salmon lovers roll is especially delicious. I ordered their food through pick up, and they were very fast with their service. The only con is that the sushi seems too expensive, compared to other similar sushi places (like Kyoto sushi that offers similar quality sushi at lower prices).
Rebecca Johnson
The food was AMAZING! The atmosphere was on point! I had so much fun and so did my guests. One of our best experiences in MPLS!
Mathew Bakken
Sushi train is quite the experience! The food comes by via conveyor and whatever looks good you grab and eat. At the end the server will tally up your bill by the color of the plates you've grabbed. This makes splitting the bill super easy. Be sure to come with an appetite!
H Shariff
Atmosphere is amazing, the experience is why you should go however the sushi left much to be desired.

As good as conveyor belt sushi can get in the US. Reminds me of Sushi Gen in LA's Little Tokyo. Excellent cuts of fish, salmon in particular. Like butter. Great drinks, great service, great location, etc etc. With price in consideration, this is the best all around sushi experience in Twin Cities, including the nicer spots. 5 stars!

I have waited two years to finally be able to go back and tomorrow is finally the day. I live on the other side of Minnesota so it is extremely hard to find a good sushi place, so a school event in which we stay in the area is the only chance to go back there. The conveyor belt system only makes the good food better. It may be a bit pricey, but I would say it is well worth it for the experience.
Ray Vinjamuri
Sushi is what you'd expect and is good. Prices are good too. My only gripe is that I ordered 7 different sushi items online for myself and one other, yet we only received one pair of chopsticks and a few soy sauce packets. After asking for another pair and a few more packets, I was informed I had to pay for them, which wasn't a big deal but quite unnecessary and a frankly cheap practice. This time they excused the cost and just handed me another chopsticks and a few more sauces.
While I don't expect a restaurant to give out unlimited extras, I don't expect them to skimp out on providing the basics needed to even eat the food, especially when they buy these things in bulk at such a low price. The additional cost of handing out another pair of mass-produced chopsticks and soy sauce costs them cents at most. No restaurant is going to get ahead of others and earn solid profits through such unabashed cost saving efforts. The customer experience matters, and it is small efforts like these in the name of saving a few cents that cost businesses the ability to grow a strong following of loyal customers that rave about you.

Honestly, I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I don’t post a ton of reviews, but felt this was necessary due to what I read before going. I was visiting from out of town and I’m not a “foodie” but I have had sushi before. I feel for the options, fair pricing and unique experience it’s worth it. Yeah, you have to spend money in order to eat, but that’s every restaurant right? They are a business. If your reading all the negative reviews, hopefully this one helps you a bit more. Every sushi plate has 4 rolls, most expensive is like $6.50. Don’t listen to all the Karen’s leaving bad reviews. They can try to make their own sushi at home and see how much it costs. We don’t eat out often, but would go back if in town. If you are on the fence, GO!
Carlos Arevalo
If you don’t have time it’s very convenient, the price is fine and about the flavor don’t expect it will be the best sushi in your live but it is ok
Maggie Miller
A really fun place to eat, recommend everyone try at least once. They have normal and fun sushi rolls with good gluten free and vegan options. Highly recommend, so tasty too
Andrew Nickel
It's a belt style sushi restaurant. It's a lot of fun and the sushi is fairly good, but it's kind of expensive. It definitely feels like you are paying for the experience as much as the actual food. 10/10 would recommend, maybe have a little snack before you go to curb the appetite.
Dominic Kuharski
Server was slow and sushi was ok. I love the concept tho. Pretty cool, but not saying I'd make the trip and pay for parking regularly
Michael Correa
Loved this place! Our waitress was very friendly and on top of things. The prices are very reasonable. The style of service is very much like Kura Sushi as they use a train conveyer to serve the food. You take what you want and get charged by the plate. Overall, with everything said above, I prefer this place over Kura any day! Can't wait to go back again!
Sara Yabandith
This is a cute little fun conveyor belt sushi place in downtown Mpls. It’s not the best sushi I’ve ever had, or even the fanciest - but I’ve always had a lot of fun here with my friends and highly recommend the salmon sashimi, salmon lovers, seared salmon, and baby octopus. I could just eat those four things on repeat, and that’s pretty much what I do there lol
Dan Schultz
Fun, unique dining experience. Great service. My first time using chopsticks.
Cal M
Delicious conveyor belt sushi, haven't seen another one in the twin cities! A little bit expensive, but to be expected for where we live. Definitely get the chocolate temptation for desert. Just do it.
Sakura Lor
Delicious and fun, the waiters were on top of it and the chefs never stopped <3
Abner Benson
not usually a fan of sushi but this place changed me! great job
Mary Harmon
Very nice staff explained the plate pricing system. Everything is clean and quick, and if you don't see something you like, you can request it from your server. It's a great option for groups because you can eat as little or as much as you like, and they have great vegetarian options. Great experience overall.
SirAbcde Shadowpaw
The sushi is good and the train part is fun. Only downfall is that it is easy to drop $100.
Desmond Ferraro-Hauck (Lucetta25)
Had a delicious meal ordered but I was disappointed to find out that while 3 pieces of salmon sashimi are about $5, the Toro Tuna (single piece) is about $7. That is not an issue as Toro is expensive. But the piece I got is about a third of a full slice. Roughly the size of a quarter, whereas the salmon is about 3 inches (as are all other sashimi). I do not think this is the normal size, as like I said its barely about as big as a quarter, less than a bite. For $7. Not impressed as the flavor isn't even very full, its just very fishy. Salmon is amazing though.
Thomas Gregg
Been multiple times. It's sushi on a conveyor belt. Plates are color coded for pricing. Eat as little or as much as you want, it adds up pretty quick. 2-4 pieces on each plate so no more whole roll commitment issues!! There's even sashimi!
They do have a whole menu, but I've never looked at it. They will do special requests.
Robert K.
I like ordering from this place for Sushi, as an everyday working joe, the quality is pretty much okay for what I'm looking for. I will ding them a star because quality does not match the higher prices. I began to notice that I was only getting a single Wasabi packet with every order other than the two I normally get from them. When I called to correct this they informed me I'd need to pay half a dollar more. Granted, it's only half a dollar. However, it seemed like a bit of a throw of salt on an already wounded wallet given their prices. Especially as I was frequent customer. The sushi is okay, it's not bad, but it's not spectacular either. They should really revise their prices to reflect this.
Angela Kirsch
My first time here, my daughter's 2nd -
A fair mix of dishes: lower to higher priced vegetarian or not, spicy or not, raw or cooked. I liked the conveyor belt idea and I hope we'll see this in more restaurants soon.
My volcano roll had something hard & crunchy in it that was hard to chew, though the flavor was delicious - otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Mursin
The service was super nice and quick. But this place is a trap. Highway robbery for sushi that's, while above average, insanely overpriced. It adds up super quick. You get half of what you'd get at a standard sushi joint for the same price. I won't be going back.
Pa Moua
I REALLY wanted to love this restaurant but it didn’t live up to the hype. It Definitely has a fun and cool concept so it’s something everyone should try once. The waitress was really nice too! The food was mediocre, it reminded me of boxed sushi at the grocery store. The ramen was a bit bland. Maybe it was an off night for the crew?
Whitebass
Wonderful place to eat some sushi. Great service!! Keep up the great work.
Dave Handler
Great service! Delicious food and the manager always treats us like we are her best friends!
Ty Yah
Great food! First time here and the server was EXTREMELY RUDE! The doors just opened, my friends and I got seated and asked her about the ramen. Also told her to explain to me how the train works and she said 'do you hear yourself?'... like seriously...
Jordan Fuller
Expensive for what little you get. But everything is fresh, tasty, and it's a novelty. Also they have macaroons.
James Bowland
Very fun dining experience and very good food. In am very happy to have found the sushi train. Everything I tried was fresh and well flavored. Comparable to sushi I’ve had in the San Francisco area.
lil miss Jackie vv
All the sushi is fresh and they have a lot to choose from cooked/Raw
cha chang
The couple of times spent here with the wifey has been a great experience. The sushi and rolls were great for the most part and we enjoyed the experience very much. Serving size a bit tiny and can add up really quickly. But Definitely a place to try and revisit.
isavella valle
First time at a sushi train the host was amazing the food was amazing and the prices were not too high we loved it
Andrew Huffman
Lots of options! The menu says they use rfid chips in the plates to determine when to remove the sushi that has been out too long. The price per plate system is easy to understand. And I always try to get something new here
Chu The Woop (Chucast Hartou)
Great Waitstaff and delicious food. 100% coming back here if im ever in the area again
Kelly Brown
I really enjoyed the service my waiter Jerry was really nice. The food was definitely passable. Perhaps it was the items I had but the temperature of some of the items were a bit concerning to me. The seaweed salad was great but a tad bit on the sweeter side. I think the largest drawback for me was the smell of the restaurant and maybe it was just a weird day for them but there was a really strong ‘restaurant musty’ scent in there, which at a point started burning my nose and eyes and stayed in my clothing. I’m sure it’s not something that can’t be fixed with better ventilation. But for this reason I’ve given them 4 stars. Beyond that I enjoyed the experience and I would like to be back but only if that ventilation is fixed.
Pa Yang
Waitress was friendly! Food is okay. Nice place to experience with friends and family.
Ranieri Claudio
Very cool experience, just grab your sushi of choice and that's it. I personally don't like waiting 30 mins for food at restaurants, this is very convenient. Reason for 3 stars was for the prices, very expensive and to top it off, no free parking in the area.
Pratyush Mathur
Great sushi for very low prices. Definitely worth visiting for people who want to try a wide variety of types and maybe see something new you might like!
Street parking is a little difficult in this corner, I'd recommend taking the metro and walking the few blocks but otherwise several parking garages are nearby if you're willing to pay.
Zelen
Super fun, good portions for the price, and generally tasty sushi. The conveyor belt is quite a fun way to pick sushi and you can order anything off the menu.
Jerry and Winnie are the best :D
Michelle Vietor
I tend to get to-go orders, and have had some of the best takoyaki, salmon sashimi and avocado rolls in recent memory here.
The edamame is always fresh, the rice is perfect, and I like that they have non-sushi options for picky eaters. Kids LOVE that pb&j roll.
I haven't had a chance to eat in the restaurant recently, but today when I picked up my order it looked very busy for a Monday! That's a good sign.
Miranda Manning
Super fun! Would have loved to see spring rolls and potstickers on the conveyer though.
Kendrick Cronin
Love this restaurant. Fresh, delicious sushi, among other wonderful food.
TFIN Videos
Amazing experience. Our family has not been able to eat sushi in a restaurant for almost 2 years (bad timing, bad location, and covid), so getting to dine at Sushi Train was a real treat. ST had a lot of variety on their belt with a range from simple tastes for the first time sushi Ester to Mexican/ Cajun inspired sushi and all of the other sushi restaurant staples. I felt the prices were very reasonable. We even had some fun house drinks that were made with Leche and were delicious as well. I have added ST to my list of places in Minneapolis to visit when I am in the area again!
1va Chan
Food is amazing, the people are so friendly and its such a clean restaurant. I highly recommend it for the experience.
Josh “Troz” McCauley
A very excellent experience here. Every staff member we met was happy to be there. It really seemed like they had an excellent company culture. The food was delicious. I recommend getting any fried rolls ordered yourself rather than off the conveyor, just so that it's hot and fresh. A place that's definitely worth going.
Tony W
Delicious and amazing service from Winnie! We dined here while visiting Minneapolis last month. Sushi is my daughter's favorite food and the concept of such a broad selection of maki and nigri casually gliding by the table simply blew her mind. She was over the moon about the experience, and our server Winnie made it top-notch. The manager could clearly see the excitement in my daughter's eyes and let us in 30 minutes before close, and we had no problem getting out of there at closing time because the service was so efficient. We liked the sushi so much that we came back the next day and requested that Winnie be our server again. Thank you Sushi Train Team - we will be back during our next visit to Minneapolis.
Stevie G
Food is amazing! Yes it's a fun experience, the food is excellent and very well priced. Highly recommend, and walk around Nicollet Mall prior or afterwards.
Nathaniel Ly
I really like all of the varieties of salmon they have. Raw, smoked and seared. Each has a drastically different flavor! This place is definitely a fun place to eat. So far it's the only conveyor belt sushi in MN.
Currently my favorite place for sushi in the twin cities.
Iman Doh
sushi is really good i love the concept of picking out your own plates but 2/3 of the times i have been here i have had really horribly rude servers
amantastic
What a great experience! A large variety of choices, delicious and fresh sushi and sashimi.
Loved the seaweed salad. Unique cocktails shaken perfectly and 5 star service from Winnie!
Kristina Melnichuk
The experience here was so much fun! Wonderful vibe. Our server was attentive to our needs and made the most AMAZING drinks EVER! We had fun and were able to joke around with him which only added to the experience!!! He knows what questions to ask and based on your answers what best to recommend! Most definitely coming back!!!
Jake Dhillon
Kids love the conveyor line. It's more about the visuals than the quality of the food.
Leslie Hagner
Out of every restaurant that we’ve been to since the shut down, Sushi Train definitely had the best Covid-19 protocols. They take your name and number down, and only seat every other booth, which I appreciate since I really haven’t seen the same in many other restaurants. The experience of just picking off what you want from the conveyor belt is so fun, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
Tetiana Kotsehub
Just visited them today. Their sushi were much better before quarantine. Do not taste fresh. There was no people besides us and a homeless guy. Service was good. But definitely do not worth the price.
Benjamin Lander
Chew-chew! This was such a great little afternoon trip! Little pricey, but you have to come to expect this from a themed sushi joint like this. Sushi was fresh, sides came quickly and service was really friendly. COVID rules adhered to and no crowds to worry over. You want to try everything which doesnt help with the final colored plate stack. Experienced this in Japan, but I would say our experience here in the States was much more enjoyable. Staff were much more attentive and understanding of the whole process. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
Ruthie Elizabeth
typical sushi train spot. not heaps of variety but a great place to go if you’re in a hurry.
the floors were so greasy? idk… i was sliding all over the place tryna get to our booth.
Thomas “Tommy” Olson
Extremely crowded, but during the weekdays you can find a table especially if you go a little bit later friendly staff good sushi and conveyor system is a lot of fun.
Dani Cheng
Poor quality food for such hiked up price. For the price I paid i could have gone to somewhere else (like yumi's) for much better food. Service was good...won't go back though. Interesting/ fun experience as I have never been to a sushi train restaurant.
Matthew Smith
Should really be 3.5 stars...rounded up. We traveled in from the suburbs (there is no good japanese out there) so don't do that for this place. Not great, but good food. If you're in the area it's a good choice.
Appetizers were not good, tempura was flavorless and batter was too thick. Spring rolls, no go. Now for the Sushi/Nigiri/Sashim/rollsi. Fish quality was good, flavors were good. Rice, not bad.. Solid place for Sushi.
Jay Elverum
So I got several salmon sushi. The nigiri was okay and the salmon and avocado roll was alright. The salmon in the plain salmon roll was really tough though. I’d spend a minute just trying to chew the salmon. I couldn’t finish the roll and it kind of put me off for the rest of the sushi. The fatty tuna was also chewier than expected.
Tydus Lee
I think this place is prefect for someone who just wants to eat what they can and not over pay for what they can't finish, only place I take my wife to and not come out with a take out box.
Daniela B
We got a salmon poke bowl and a number of things from the sushi train. I loved the poke bowl (my dining companion doesn’t like spicy mayo so didn’t like it), and the sushi was very good. I liked the smaller portions because it allowed you to grade up or down your food based on how hungry you were, and the salmon avocado, peanut avocado, sashimi, and most things were delicious when we got them. We didn’t get it, but they also had peanut butter jelly rolls that looked great for kids. Their COVID spacing was great, and for a more casual conveyer belt sushi place they did a great job of keeping people separate.
Anjeline Ramirez
Just checked this out yesterday after a long work week and it was DELICIOUS! The fish quality is really great and everything was well stocked on the conveyor belt. I also highly recommend the Sojito cocktail!! Can’t wait to come back!!
Brooke Erickson
We ended up getting a couple beers and almost all purple plates. Highly recommend, each dish was unique and tasty!! Thank you for an awesome date night, we look forward to returning soon!
Tim Santiago
First time back since Covid. I hope the restaurant will do something to address the lingering smell of the deep fryer that embeds itself on your clothing and in your hair after eating there. No other restaurant I’ve been to has this problem. It really makes for a bad experience.
Nicolas Kent
I only come to Minneapolis once a year, but the last time I was in town I came here so many times and it was so delicious. I live in Nebraska and even though I love the sushi places in town, I still want to be back here just thinking about it. I can't wait to be back again next year! Highly recommend coming in if you're ready for a good place to eat!
dee tee
Sushi was good and loved the conveyor belt concept. It made it such an easy process to get sushi.
Kelsie Knudson
The service was good, quick and polite. I wasn’t sure what to expect with a “sushi train” but the food was very fresh, good drinks. We had a great time!
Sea Paulson
Best place for entertaining sushi. Conveyer belt sushi is by far the best way to sample and taste rolls you've never had before. Bringing more than 4 people is a little hard to manage however. Booths are not large enough for 6.
George Presbrey
Went here last month with my girlfriend for her birthday, was amazing and everything you’d expect out of a conveyor sushi restaurant. It’s also pretty reasonably priced.
Great service and good food 10/10
Cate Crowe
We do takeout for a family of three here about once a week. It's delicious, inexpensive, and fast. We each get four or five rolls (4 pieces per roll), and the total usually comes to right about $60. The ingredients always taste fresh. No upcharge for a couple extra buckets of ginger and wasabi. Highly recommended.
Nemesis
Phenomenal sushi. Sashimi is huge, thick slices and the quality is great. The Hokkaido Roasted Scallop is fantastic and we are absolutely coming back to est here once a month.
Abby Suchy
the sushi itself is pretty good definitely not the best around but its a good place to go if you are only kind of hungry since you pay per plate but the edamame(?) was cold so I would skip on that and most other sides and stick to only the sushi the small cakes were also pretty good for their price
Kali Voigt
So good!! Amazing service as well, we loved our waitress, she was on point. Very impressed with food, atmosphere, customer service, and the price. I’ve been telling everyone to go here since
Blake
First time at a sushi bar. Very interesting how they manage conveyer sushi. Remember to count out the plates you grab and what colors you grab; the bill can stack up pretty quickly.
Mark O
Was a fun place and concept. Good sushi selection (if you could get it before someone grabbed what you wanted)
Amber Crowley
Very unique experience. I will definitely go back. I thought the sushi was very good. The staff was also very friendly.
S P
Everything is fresh and tasty! You can get sake flights. The conveyor includes several types of dessert. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
Adriana Ochoa
absolutely loved this place. the entire concept of a self-service conveyor belt dining experience was new to my small group and we loved it! we came in the last 2 mins they were seating people, and even so close to close, the staff was friendly and speedy. as an out-of-towner, I highly recommend this fun little spot with some delicious and different options
Mariah Moser
Only restaurant I know of in Minneapolis that has this experience. They have lots of fun options and the food is fresh! Shout out to my waitress who gave me my first sake bomb for my birthday!
Cari C
The food is very good! Love the sweet potato roll! Thank you for being open past 6pm. I came looking for dinner, everything was closed except this!
David Dull
The best sushi that money can buy in the twin cities!!! Me and my girlfriend are here for a week and this is a must stop for tourists! Great service and amazing atmosphere! Make sure you stop!!!
Hannah Fischer
Good food and cool that you get to pick the plates that pass by you. Only downside is that your clothes will smell like sushi walking out of there because of the open concept layout.
k hagen
The concept is right on!
The service is stellar!
The only thing better was the amazing food and price!
CheShin Chew
The pricing for some plates on the conveyer belt are ridiculously high. Of course you could say that we get to choose not to take those plates, but it's too overpriced for some ordinary sushi.
Damon Labeau
Great specials and the owner was beyond friendly. Will go back.
David Yang
This is a must try place. Very fun and easy to get your food. Be careful on selecting your food, as the price can get quite high if you dont pay attention lol. Very good sushi, not top of the line, but quality is good for the money.
Insu Park
Awesome 👍😆😉 …
Bonnie Romero
Lots of fun. Food is the best. Service excellent.
Marcus Wolf
Very nice staff, the food was amazing and the environment was friendly!!! I was in here during the furry convention in the hotel next to the place they were very welcoming and had great service!!! I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town!!!
Trent Wiskow
Wow this place is so neat. Fresh sushi and other great dishes to try coming right by your table. I really appreciate the peanut and butter sushi rolls for the kids.
midori
very fun experiences coming here 💜 the only downside is that they’re so busy and popular they always have a waitlist for dinner 😢 if you’re ever unsure of what to get, some of the staff are really honest about what’s good and what’s not as good, i got recommended a poke bowl and it was such a great decision! …
Lily
Okay, normally MN sushi is meh at best. But this place made me love sushi all over again! The staff is nice and the food is amazing!
Michaela Matzke
I was very impressed with the 'conveyor belt' sushi experience, friendly staff, and wonderful food! Would totally recommend!
Diana Salgado Huicochea
The sushi was very yummy. I also ordered the Shrimp Tempura udon and it was very good!
Derek DeGross
Place is awesome! Good sushi, good drinks, and you can take food off of the conveyor belt whenever you want. Bit spendy, but worth it!
Jess Regenscheid
Classic conveyor belt sushi - it’s lots of fun to eat here!
There’s a great selection and everything tasted great - I hope to visit again soon!
Olivia Gulseth
My family and I had lunch here while staying in downtown Minneapolis. The food was fantastic and the experience was memorable. I would recommend this place to any sushi lover!
Jennifer Inafuku
Fun experience! Good variety of sushi and sashimi is portioned generously. Plenty of non sushi items too.
Zaire Cassell
Came to Minneapolis for the first time and this was the first place we chose to try. A great choice as it was a very nice place with delicious food and stellar service! Truly a shame I don’t live closer. Thanks for the great experience!!
Shawn Keaton
Not bad at all don't expect to get high-end sushi but it is definitely not bad and fun
Shion Love
It's a really fun dining experience. The sushi isn't the best I've ever had but it is good.
Allison Plummer
Great food, great niche concept, and drinks and service are always wonderful as well!
Johnna Palic
Very reasonable pricing for high quality sushi. I did order out and the service was fast and pleasant. Highly recommend the mochi
Fernanda Arias
I loved it sushi was great they have options incase you don't like raw sushi they have cooked sushi and everyone was so nice
bryan debarbieris
Tasty, fresh and a nice environment. Sake flight was a good choice.
Virginia Mott
This place is popular so you may have to wait, but you can wait at the bar. The food is great and plentiful. Kid friendly.
Keven Skiles
Love love love this place. Great options and not crazily priced although you have to be careful because those plates can add up super fast. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. Have never had a bad time in the dozens of time I’ve been there. Will always recommenced this place as long as they keep heading in the right direction.
Haddi Tanner (koolhaddi25)
A little hard to get attention for a check at the end, but it suddenly got crowded, so I understand. Delicious food, and phenomenal drink and wait service. Very quick and nice.
James Gobble
Delicious food and fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend it!
Jon Engelking
First date? Out with besties? Alone and depressed? This place is for you! Even their cheapest plates are delicious with my favorites being the dragon roll and the sweet potato roll!
brandee hubner
Very different sushi bar that is interesting
Laesa McInerney
Very adequate sushi. And very affordable. The restaurant is very clean. The drinks ARE EXCELLENT.
Jay Kalk
My wife and I eat here at least 3 times a month. Decent food, decent prices with the fun of train style sushi
Tamara Gordon
Such a great place to try lots of dishes. Not a fan this trip of the egg rolls. Edamame is not hot and was best I've had in a long time! The menu is mostly sushi now. They have amazing other dishes as well.
Gabrielle Lund
Macoroons are the absolute best here!! My daughter and I went for Mother’s Day and everything was delicious! Staff was so nice!!
Emily Gilpin
This is the best and most unique restaurant experience ive ever had, they had fresh and delicious sushi, friendly service and uncomparable prices!!! Amazing if you are in the area you should definitely try this place!!!!!
Aaron Cumbie
Absolutely fantastic, by far the best Sushi place in Minnesota. Very friendly Staff. Excellent Sushi, prepared exquisitely. Thank God they Re-opened. Our favorite place bar none.
Briana Ketchmark
Had a great experience and thought the service was amazing. I saw someone else post this and I agree the prices are unbeatable for the quality of sushi.
Anna Wester
Was just traveling with my fiance for the weekend! And our server made us feel very welcomed!
Lindsey
If you’re new to sushi this is a great place to go because you get to see all the sushi traveling around the room and choose what looks good (instead of looking at a menu and guessing what might be good). If you’re a sushiholic like me, it’s a bit dangerous because you’ll want to try everything!
Peter Stocks
Great COVID protocols. Temp checks, distanced seating, and contact tracing. The food is always delicious, the service is great, and it's such an enjoyable and unique dining experience.
Michael Pavek
Outstanding food selection AMD atmosphere made this a wonderful night to remember! Will definitely come again!
Josh Steel
Reminds me of places in SF and hawaii. Glad we finally have one to call our one. Plenty of options for people that don't typically eat sushi. Green tea ice cream is delicious
tiyesa ethridge
Customer service was amazing and food was delicious!
Negma Farah
As very big sushi consumer, having sushi swirl around me on a belt is a dream. Everything is fresh and my favorite item on the menu is the Spicy Tuna Poke bowl. I could eat that for days. 😍 …
Abigail Hubbell
Fun!!!! Yummy!!! Friendly staff! Inexpensive! Vegetarian options! No wait on a Friday night! We will be back!
Alexander Paulavec
Better quality than all you can eat places. Good variety for a sushi place. Super fast as the food is always moving on the belt.
Chrissy Her
Great place love the experience and the staff were excellent. Street parking.

Very affordable and high quality! Would definitely come here on regular basis if I lived closer!
Kim
Great service, sushi, and prices!
Orrin Bare
Pretty good, for a conveyor sushi place. Not the best ever but good enough to satisfy a craving
Dang Le
Good food with decent price. However, this place always smells oily from frying every time I go. Maybe their kitchen vent doesn't work? Not sure.
aa bc
Not as fresh as expected. Over priced. Service poor
Anthony David
Sushi Train was a great experience. It is an enjoyable place to have a meal with friends.
Douglas Hall
I was shocked at how awesomely good this was. Also shocked how fast the price went up. But worth it. Oh me gosh, so worth it.
Adam Herr
Great experience. I highly recommend the dry and sweet saki flights. Sushi is delicious and staff is awesome!
RT Slaywood
Great selection great prices. As long as you don't go crazy with the specialty plates it'll cost about the same as an all you can eat but with higher quality and selection
Jay Ilene
Conveyer belt sushi super awesome! super convenient, great service! went for my birthday and got a sake bomb!
Niklas Banks
Super tasty and entertaining to see the multiple sushi options float around you (literally)!
