Reviews of Snack Bar
Eddie's New York Diner
Great concept and execution!
Fantastic menu and love the pizza by the slice option, but with pizza this good was not going to just have a slice.
Also had the Alaskan Cod, Pici, Fried Eggplant and all was cooked well and delicious.
Cocktail menu looked good and nice craft beer selection too
Professional & friendly service, cozy environment and well priced for quality and flavor of the food.
Place was packed to the gills but food came out fast and we were really well looked after!
Suggest to always reserve - especially if you want one of their swanky 2 seat scalloped booths.
Look forward to going back again on a future visit to Minnesota.

A cozy, swanky spot - perfect for a date night or a kick start to an evening out. Great menu variety being able to order a fabulous slice of pizza (your way, lots of ingredient options, or a whole pie), and then shareable courses of other Italian delicacies - it’s not an ‘either or’, you can have both!
We were sold on the Verde Game Hen after recommendation from our server and was not disappointed. The gnudi was a lighter version of the famous gnocchi and is worth trying. Cocktails were also top notch, with a good beer selection and wine options.

Dined here as a group of four for my birthday. The group was impressed by all the food (and drinks)! I ordered scallops and wished there were more than two, the shermoula and pine nuts were amazing. The crème brûlée donut for dessert was a highlight for all of us, just incredible! Four entrees, one side, four drinks and two desserts put the group total at ~$270.

Wow. WOW. Just incredible. The service was amazing (thanks Suzie), the drinks were spot on and the food. THE FOOD. It's small plates so order several things. We ordered the sea bean salad, octopus, cheese pastry, scallops, eggplant and the gnudi. My husband and I were blown away. We absolutely loved it and it's our new favorite spot. Dinner was around $200 and worth EVERY PENNY.

Nowhere is more accommodating with pizza options. Half and half, mix and match, whole pie, by the slice. Name it and they'll find a way to make it happen. Oh, and it's really good food!

The atmosphere was great, and the service was very attentive. We ordered a sampling of food... some of which was a hit, other items could use improvement.
Room for improvement—
Were were excited for the octopus, but thought it was a little overcooked and the sauce was overly lemony. I saw some other reviewers pleased with this dish and it’s possible that ours was not the norm. The fried artichokes were probably the biggest disappointment— like the breading of fried calamari. We had hoped for more artichoke “meat”. The sauce that accompanied it was really good, but again, tasted like fried breading and sauce.
Absolutely delicious—
The scallops were perfectly cooked and the sauce was absolutely delicious! We also loved the pizza and the ability to order by the slice! The crust was the perfect texture and was really tasty on it’s own.
We will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu!

Two of us shared the crab and seabean salad, fried octopus, cheese pastizzi, scallops and fried eggplant and it was one of the best meals I've had. I would get all off it again but there are so many more that I want to try! The mock tails were also very delicious.

I had really high expectations for this place since it’s run by the same group as Bar La Grassa, 112 Eatery & Burch. In all the meal was good but not quite as impressive as there other spots. We started with Crispy Artichokes and Fried Octopus. The artichokes where just ok...pretty bland. The Octopus was delicious. We then moved onto Sweet Potato Gnocchi which was rather disappointing. I was expecting much better as Bar La Grassa’s pasta is pretty amazing. We also got these meatballs that had duck in them...they were very good. Lastly, I finished it all off with a slice of pizza with Pancetta. I thought the pizza was rather good. I’ll go back to just get a pizza and see how that goes.

Pizza hers is delicious. This place is hoppin on the weekends. Can be a bit loud. Bartenders are very friendly and pour nice drinks. I recommend an old fashion.

The service was downright awesome. Drinks were delicious. Food was pricey but so well balanced. Some shareables were shareable than others. The fried eggplant with honey is a must have; as is the octopus. Make a night of it. Bring friends and split the bill straight: this was our way to try most the menu and it was great!
