Decent atmosphere, nice staff, I ordered a featured burger and mimosa (sparkling wine + orange juice) Fries are good. Crunchiness is mediocre but above average. It's definitely a big plus when it's much less salty than usual (also less salt on the fries themselves) The patty is great in term of texture, flavor, and tenderness. Excellent one! The fried cheese stood out! Fun, creative and tasted good 👍 The pickle balanced off the saltines of the burger well. Though, I dislike pickle but had to leave it there for the overwhelming salty taste. Mimosa can wash it down well. Very easy to drink midday. Overall, very nice place for good food

Really chill place I stopped by at for lunch during my visit in MN. I started with the Wisconsin cheese curds… that berry ketchup was amazing!!!! Then I had the double burger which was an award winner and it was pretty good. I liked that special sauce which is mayo and relish or something like that. To be honest through, I’ve had better burgers, but overall not bad. The mule was also alright not what I was hoping for. I give it 4 stars because the service was excellent, everyone had a smile and was friendly. I would come back again and try something different.

Great place for some good burgers and decent drink compared to most places around. Our server was amazingly friendly and got us couple of sauces to try with our appetizers.. As a vegetarian I was not sure of the two different burgers and he explained us one has some heavy meat taste (still made with plants) that some can't handle so they have another lighter option. Throughly enjoyed the place, experience and the food. The only drawback was the noise.

Service was fast and friendly, very attentive. We went for brunch on a Saturday. They were busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The food was delicious. Loved the burger bagel. The French toast was a huge portion, plenty to share.

Stopped in here for lunch today. I had one of the burgers and the chicken sticks (I believe they are called). Both were really good and had a good "home" cooking taste to them. Will definitely come back here and recommend to anyone. Waitresses were very nice and the atmosphere was great as well.

Me and My Family took a short vacation to Minnesota to visit Paisley Park and some other sights! Love good food and great service. The Manager Josh was great full of information made us feel like we was at home. All the employees made us feel good about eating there and the confidence level was high on what they served! We all enjoyed our meal and the Brussel Sprouts were delicious. Thanks

Amazing cheese curds, hummus plate, patty melt, shakes, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Wings are pretty good. Their sauces are unique and tasty. Unfortunately the Brussels sprouts were a bit too sweet and the burgers aren’t as good as people say; the mule was also mid tier. The truffle fries seemed no different than the normal ones. Staff is fantastic and they’re reasonably priced. Will always bring people here! 4.2/5

This is a popular downtown restaurant with an eclectic feel and attentive staff. The Chips & Dip are a Food Network Top 50 Pick and I agree. The cheese curds and dip were good as were the sweet potato fries. The loss of the fifth star came from the Ultimate Burger which was good but plain tasting - not what I would consider ultimate.

Great place to get some drinks and feast on some delicious American food . We sat at the bar till we got our table and the bartenders were great and knowledgeable. Got some fries and Buffalo cauliflower to go with our whiskeys . At the table ordered some cheese curd wantons , hummus and donuts along with the chicken sandwiches. Highly recommend this place in the downtown area.

walked into the restaurant and was greeted by two very welcoming hostesses who sat us immediately on a friday night. our waiter was extremely positive, very nice, and helpful. I would honestly love to be seated on his section next time i go. food came out super quick. not to mention how amazing it was. then dessert- amazing as well and came out just as quick. overall 10/10 experience

Welcome to the gates of Flavor Town and wow ! The staff is as amazing as the food. The manager Grant took the time to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Our waitress never let one person in my family have an empty glass. Our waitress also gave us all great details about certain dishes as requested. You can tell ownership to management to server take pride in EVERYTHING that is done. No corners cut from feeling invited just as you walk in to the level of safety you feel, to the dining experience and powerful flavors of the food put in front of you. My pictures dont do justice on how AMAZING everything was. Don’t just skip over the apps as the sticky wings were out of this world, and the Ruben bites were punch you in the face of flavor. You think it’s over……NO !!! The fries people ! My God were they outstanding with on point garlic and the aioli dipping sauce is a must! Cocktails were also full body and not oversaturated with booze. I ordered myself the "60/40 Burger!" A patty consisting of 60% angus beef, 40% bacon and 100% deliciousness! Tangy Wisconsin Aged Cheddar, beer mustard and candied bacon are on top of this burger, and all the flavors come together and create an awesome burger! Also, the ketchup from Red Cow is amazing. I could drink shots of it (half-kidding)!

This place was definitely good! We had a little wait because they were busy but it was well worth it! A definite must try if you’re a tourist. They have good cocktails and my kids also enjoyed their food.

Holy Cow! This restaurant came to slay! Nashville hot strips with dip for sharables will kick off your dinner with a bang! Grab a burger with parmasan garlic fries talk about yum. Sides of sauce and spicy pickles will light up your palate and make you want to reach for a sig drink or shake. Absolutely in love this place and coming back as soon as I can for more. 10 outta 10 recommend spot for sure.

We went at a very busy time and still were served our food at the bar very quickly and without much of a wait. We went there because of its gluten free menu, reputation for great food, and the location. The food was indeed excellent and even though it was busy the service was amazing! They make Brussels sprouts into an indulgent appetizer!!

I don’t even know how we got lucky enough to find this place before our show at Lush, but it wasn’t even the AMAZING food that stole the show for me… it was our server, Jessica!!!! She was an absolute delight and I want her to be my best friend and server wherever I go now! Hang on to her, in fact, give her a BIG raise too!!! Thanks for the great service Jessica!

Red Cow offers an upscale version of the classic burger, fries and a shake. I especially love that they have non-beef burgers that are actually delicious. I ordered the turkey burger with fries and a chocolate shake and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned well and very tasty. Their sweet potato fries are also wonderful. The atmosphere is fun, with plenty of seating, comfortable booths and upbeat music. The staff are friendly and competent. A burger (which comes with fries) and a shake will cost in the mid-20s after a tip so it's not a cheap dinner--but it also doesn't taste cheap. Highly recommend!

We keep coming back! Great alcohol selection (pricey) and tasty gluten free options for my wife, including the fried cauliflower and chicken wings. I routinely get the breakfast burger and haven't experienced anything else like it outside my home.

Good ambiance, very good food and friendly service. The homemade potato chips were right out of the fryer and delicious. Hamburgers are up there. Overall a great experience for a Saturday brunch. Oh the bloody Mary is on my top 10 list. Update 8/7/22: Sunday afternoon hanging out! Still a wonderful place to eat and drink. Very friendly service, smiling staff and good food.

Came here with some colleagues before leaving town. The vibe was nice and the food was really good but the service was sooooo sloooow. There were 7 of us but the restaurant wasn’t packed at all. We arrived at 9, got water around 9:30, and then our waitress would disappear for a while. I’d watch her talk to other waitresses, watch a little football, etc. We were there over 2 hours. She was nice but she would never survive the Atlanta restaurant scene that most of us were used to.

Been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Love their bottomless mimosas, scotch eggs and Wisconsin cheese curds. Ordered a bbq chicken salad bowl and was so so full by the end of it. You dont need a reservation. Lovely ambience and staff. My new favorite at this restaurant is chai society which is a hot spiced tea with rum. It makes u feel so good and content after a long day on a cold Minneapolis evening.

Okay... avocado cheesecake!!! Is a must try! Once a month I have a networking meeting around the corner and I will be stopping every time for avocado cheesecake! Affordable the perfect amount and oh so good! Don't knock it until you try it okay!

Overall 4 stars. Food 3 stars. Stopped in quickly to order take-out from the hostess. All of the staff I interacted with was friendly and they seem to work really hard. I saw someone leaving the enclosed outdoor area with their dog, so it must be outdoor pet-friendly 👍. The house burger and fries were nothing spectacular but a reasonable price at $15. The fries tasted like better quality Burger King fries. The burger itself wasn't very flavorful, but nicely cooked.

Visiting Minneapolis from Kansas City this weekend and stopped in at Red Cow for our last dinner. The food was great and our server Ken was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the food, made thorough substitutions to work around some dietary restrictions, was prompt but not over bearing and just an over all delight to have! We had the patty melt burger and the turkey burger with cilantro lime aioli. Our sides were the truffle and sweet potato fries as well as the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer. Highly recommend it all! Absolutely delicious the whole way through.

I'm not a big burger person. AT all. BUT I could eat their double barrel burger every day. I've tried recreating it, going other more inexpensive places, but nothing compares. Red Cow, you have a lifelong fan and supporter. It's very flavorful and the meat itself is amazing. Even air fried leftovers of this burger, because yes I can't always finish this, are delicious. Their cocktails have always been a hit as well. I think I tried the kombucha one and was delicious.

I rarely eat burgers but they have such good burgers and there’s so many different types to choose from. The 60/40 burger is one of my fave. Also the Barcelona burger is super good too. I like to ask for the berry ketchup because it makes the French fries and burgers even more flavorful.

We dined at Red Cow recently and had a great experience. We were a party of 10 and our server Riley, could not have been any better! He offered suggestions, was very friendly and prompt with service. Everyone enjoyed their meal, raving about the taste! It was a great experience, but the biggest service piece was when a server chased us down three blocks bringing one of the person’s her purse! Wow! Cannot say enough good things! Red Cow, you have amazing people working for you!!

loved the little patio!! there was no wait at 6pm on a sunday and fast service with very sweet hostess and waiter. the food we have had before and it’s still just as amazing! there’s also a lot more plant-based friendly items on the menu, which surprised me, but the buffalo cauliflower was very good!

A review I meant to write on Oct 30th 2022 at 12:37pm. I ordered through door dash and the food was great one of the better burgers I've had in Minneapolis the thing that set them apart was the truffle sauce for the the fries. The sauce was creamy and it seemed like there were actually bits of truffle in it rather than just flavored olive oil. I actually took my left over sauce from my fries and put it on my burger and that made an already very good burger make me want to come back for more. I will be back and I hope if you're not from Minneapolis you give it a shot but do dine in it takes forever for take out.

I was excited about the cheese curds but they arrived so oily. There was a pool of oil at the bottom of the basket. The lavender mocktail I got tasted a bit cheap. I loved the chicken tenders, they were well breaded and so tender. I didn’t try the burger so I will have to be back, but because 2/3 items I ordered weren’t very good, this place gets 3 stars. If my experience changes, I will revise the rating accordingly.

Nothing is better than a good burger. As far as I am concerned Red Cow has the best. The burgers are alway juicy and delicious. We have always had good service and the atmosphere is fun but not too loud. Only complaint is that I don't love seeing the meat hooks hanging from the ceiling as I am enjoying my burger. This has not stopped my from going there tho. I just don't look up. lol

If you're looking for good burgers, hit up this spot. The 60/40 burger is one of my favorite, simple burgers in the cities. The candied bacon, aged cheddar cheese and mustard are a perfect combo. No need for extra fluff.

There is indoor and decent sized outdoor area. The server we had was awesome! Worked there for 6 years and you could tell he loved it. Gave great advice and had great energy. Ordered the brussel sprouts, French fries and a salad for take out. I've had better fries and the ketchup didn't taste like the average American ketchup (if that's what you prefer). Four stars because our orders didn't come with utensils nor napkins. From placing order online to pick up was approximately 20-25 minutes. Inside was pretty busy but looked like the waitresses and host had everything under control.

Wow. I am not easily impressed by burgers anymore. A lot of places do a great job, but Red Cow had the best burger I have ever eaten. I had the bacon double. The patty burst with flavor and melted in your mouth. The bacon avoili was special. I hate sauce on my burger and ordered this on the side. It added another level of flavor. The onion rings and onion chip dip were on the same level of the burger. Don't miss this place. I know I won't next time I am back.

I went to Minnesota to visit and get away from home. Red Cow is one of the best resturants I've ever gone to. I went a couple months ago.Our waiter was SUPER kind and came around and also asked for what we wanted and she was just great. The food was incredible! I had a grilled cheese and it wasnt dry and it was crunchy but not to crunchy. Also ordered a milkshake which tasted like heaven.For appetizers we got wings those were juicy and sauce wasnt to hot. Inside was cozy and it was just a awesome environment there. I would highly suggest going if you need some food.

Good food for a good price. Great service. I got the breakfast burger and the peanut butter made the bread really soggy but that’s expected with unique burgers. They give the choice of sparkling or regular water. Extensive drink menu. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because we went there for a friend’s birthday and told the waitress. She said they would see what they could do and had no birthday treat available even for a price which is disappointing since almost every restaurant does that. Don’t go there for a birthday if you want a special birthday treat.

Walking to our table and seeing the food around us, I knew this wasn’t going to disappoint. Tried the 60/40 burger and wow was it delicious! Great place to grab a bite to eat! The staff is very helpful taking the time to explain all the drink and menu options. They will make recommendations based on what you like. The later hours is also nice. We came in on a late flight and I am so happy this place is open late!

The food here is amazing. We stopped by twice while in town for a weekend get away. I had one of the aged beef/brisket/rib meat burgers, it was one of the tastiest burgers I have ever had. Cheese curds are amazing. Both poutines are a good happy hour choice. Pretty good beer selection.

Best curbside pickup service I've had the entire pandemic. The food was ready in 15 minutes and when I arrived they had someone outside asking for the name on the order. None of that "call us when you're here!" with a barely readable phone number on a small sign. It took maybe 30 seconds to get the food and they even read the order back to me to make sure it was right. We ordered some Impossible burgers and they were perfectly cooked, not dry like other restaurants in town. The tots and cheese curds were still hot and crispy. The excellent service and delicious food had a really positive impact on my night. Will definitely be ordering again soon. Thanks, Red Cow!

Delicious. Outstanding service that is quick and friendly. Good happy hour menu. I highly recommend the award winning Double Barrel Burger and the crispy Japanese sticky wings. My favorite is the grilled cheese. It has bbq potato chips inside and the tomato soup is amazing. They are open late and have a nice patio area.

Really great meal and the decor is fabulous. It was nice for a romantic meal. I had the feature burger and my husband had the award winning double. The onion rings are to die for. The batter is so good that I bet their fish and chips are amazing. We also had dessert, although the dessert choices were limited there was something for everyone. We split a brownie sundae and it was amazing. The service was phenomenal even though they were super busy and short handed. Everyone pitched in and several people besides our server visited our table for refills or to check on us. Being former servers we love to see the teamwork.

Started with a yelp reservation - you don't get to pick your time, Yelp does that for you. We made our reservation while driving there - got there 8 min after they expected us based on the Yelp request and had to wait 45 min for a table. Ordered the onion dip - the top 50 dips - nothing special about it. Ordered the flight of beer - it was warm, like it was poured into warm glasses. Then ordered the burger - it was good but messy to eat. I always order my burgers rare - this one was medium at best. Nice server. Very noisy environment. Not what I was hoping for.

Amazing food, fantastic service, and a welcoming and modern aesthetic. I went here for the first time (and probably the last in a while unfortunately) for brunch while I was visiting a friend in Minnesota and it was the best restaurant experience that I have had since the trip began. Emily, our server, was fantastic and completely attentive and led us through the menu perfectly. She knew what we needed and was great at giving us the first time experience that made us feel welcome. I got the breakfast Nacho's (I can't remember the name from the menu), and my friend got the breakfast sandwich. Both fantastic dishes and we both recommend them. The tater tots as an app were also fantastic. In addition, the pricing of the menu was fair and much lower from what you would expect of food quality so high. Overall an amazing experience and the first place I will go back to when I am next in MN.

Red cow was absolutely phenomenal. The vibes in the restaurant are great for a night downtown. They offer complimentary regular or sparkling water as well which I thought was a really nice touch. The cheese curds were delicious and the ranch and berry ketchup we're to die for. The grilled chicken sandwich is huge, tender, and juicy, and is an awesome choice for a healthier option on the menu.

Went there for lunch and had beer cheese soup and a turkey burger. The beer cheese soup was really good, although I personally could've done without the massive pile of popcorn on top (I know it's customary for this type of soup, but I don't like it and some wasn't popped all the way so it was full kernels). The turkey burger was great and the toppings were great too. I wasn't sure how the pistachios and radish would work out, but they were great. The aoli was great too.

Such a nice place for couples and groups especially in summer. Food usually seasoned and cooked beautifully. I've tried the two most popular burgers they serve which were Double Burrell and Barcelona and they were delicious. Ahi Tuna and Chicken Wings are really good appetizers. Lakers start with saying that the restaurant itself is a 5 star. Great location, loves the vibe and atmosphere. Very clean and nice to be in. So the reason for 2 stars lost -( remember, this was just for my visit) - 2 stars lost for service. It was not to great, the server was polite and friendly, just wasn't a great waitress. Included in the lost stars was food. We ordered a couple meals, the PB&J was not all that great, especially for the price. But the cowboy was pretty good in looks and taste. I posted a pic of the kids meal and of the cowboy, the other wasn't worthy of a pic.

Liked this place very much. Was visiting a friend in Minneapolis and she took me to this joint. Proper social distancing and cleanliness was maintained. Burger was great, cheese curds were fantastic but drink was meh 😑 (you should never make Moscow Mule with “diet” Ginger Ale). I would definitely visit this solely for their cheese curds, because I don’t get them in East Coast. Price ~ $$ Parking ~ Street/Parking Lot EDIT : I took the offer. Traveled to Minneapolis and went back for another shot at Cheese Curds and Mule. Curds are still great but Mule is still weak. HOW EVER ... There was another clear winner. Potato Leek soup was to die for. My god it was good. These guys keep coming up with tasty food and I am losing money in flight tickets :) BTW .. adding another star to my review.

Definately a must try when in MSP!! Firstly, their meats are Grass-fed pasture-raised, anti-biotics free, NON-GMO which is a big plus. Then their veggies are pretty fresh, all of them are organic, locally sourced. So far, the biggest disapppointment (and the reason for not being 5*) is that they use VEGETABLE CANOLA OIL(highly inflammatory, and oxidized, even if its non-GMO). I would love to see them switiching to Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil or Extra Virigin Olive Oil. As for the their service, really friendly and helpful staff.

This was the best surprise in Minneapolis, by far. We went for an early brunch on a Sunday. The place was quiet with plenty of seating. Our waiter knew his stuff and was SO on point with recommendations for cocktails and food, even stuff that had been on previous menus but could still be made or modifications to make the meal everything we wanted The portions were GIANT, so come hungry and do yourself a favor by sharing the pancakes. My favorite was the corned beef hash.. flavorful and perfectly savory. ALSO, SO AFFORDABLE! Would definitely come again.

I tried the SoCal Burger (featuring Beyond Meats’s vegan meat substitute.) I went there explicitly to try this. I’m not a vegetarian but wanted to know whether it was good or bad, whether it tasted like meat or icky pretend meat (the way that Stevia is an icky /awful sugar substitute.) I got it with normal cheese. And it comes with a dollop of avocado on top. I put ketchup on it. It was fine and it tasted like a beef hamburger! Was it the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had? No! But I wouldn’t have known it was fake beef. And I’ve had worse real cheeseburgers. It was a perfectly acceptable cheeseburger that didn’t have me thinking, “Maybe I can get used to it.” I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again just for the taste, but if friends said they were going out to have one, I wouldn’t hesitate to go along. And I might get one again from time to time because I like the idea that it is better for the environment. You should try one.

It was Mother's Day when I visited with five other people, so it was a bit busier than usual. The wait for a spot indoors was about 20-30 minutes but the staff had communicated that clearly and politely with us from the beginning. The food was excellent, from the cheese curds to burgers to milkshakes and not overpriced for the quality and location of the restaurant. The interior is also very unique -- if meat hooks hanging from the ceilings are a big turn off, it might be best to get take-out.

NEED to edit: What the owners have done at red cow is nothing short of amazing. In these times, under these financial uncertainties, not knowing if we are shut down tomorrow, they invest serious money to build a heated but open air outdoor space for their customers. They are spending money at a time when businesses are folding up shop. Cant imagine what it cost to run 8 ceiling gas heaters 10 hours a day. We will always support you!! When we got in we were greeted right away, and the coolest part is that I put down my phone number and they texted me when our table was ready. It was great. The only downfall is they seated us right in the middle on a high table. Of course it’s understandable when there is a wait, but a booth or something would have been way more comfortable. This place was delicious! The server told me that the burger was big but I didn’t realize how big it was. This was the first time I had to eat a burger with a knife and fork because I couldn’t fit it in my mouth. It was very flavorful too. The sweet potato fries were amazing, flat and wide. I haven’t had fires like that before. The server was very helpful, seemed to be Knowledgeable of the menu and could offer recommend. He was also very attentive, kept drinks full and would check up on us but not overly attentive. The atmosphere is really hip. Will deff go here again.

Worth a short wait to get happy hour beer selection, cheese curds (in the top five cheese curds around the Cities), and stay for a burger and fries. Big portions: sometimes it's just right to split a burger and sweet potato fries between two people. Poutine in skillet is filling, though not quite as robustly flavorful as anticipated (maybe it’s the lack of gravy?). Friendly service and relaxed bar environment. So many beers on tap, and not just typical domestics and common craft lineup. Experiment a little and go for a couple rounds.

Always a delightful experience but this one really was the cherry on top! My boyfriend and I always order the So Cal completely vegan Impossible Burger & we wanted two Bloody Maria’s with it (with tequila instead of vodka.) His smile never left his face and no matter how many questions we asked he had every answer about the menu, the city or his favorite dish. I had the turkey burger and I’m the person that grew up on red meet and potatoes. I would choose that turkey burger over red meat any day, you’d seriously have to pay me not to order it again. The other staff that brought our beers (which were only $5😜🍺), food and asked how we were doing were so kind, professional and truly cared. Came here with a buddy of mine, and overall, the food was great--I had the Double Barrel (their award winning burger); the real surprise, was the cole slaw. However, the service could have definitely been better. Our server never replenished or even offered to refill our drinks even though he saw that our cups were near empty for at least 20 minutes. He seemed a little disinterested, as we were only two people.

I ordered BBQ Chicken Bowl and Modern Greek Bowl for take-out. I was excited to try the cauliflower rice in the Greek bowl. I was very disappointed to find that my "bowls" were salads! Mixed greens were not in the description of either of these "bowls" yet that's what half the "bowl" was filled with with only traces of cauliflower rice. I called and spoke with the manager who told me that even though mixed greens were not in the description that, "since it's in the Salad and Bowl section of the menu that that's the assumption...that mixed greens will be in it. They are absolutely supposed to be in there." I really hate being told off with information/an argument that doesn't even make sense. In my effort to resolve, what I felt was a legitimate oversight on their part, I hung up the phone feeling snubbed. Disappointed with food (and now also) service.

Red Cow was a delight! I traveled to Minneapolis for work, and my Lyft driver recommended it to me since it was right near Target Field. I hit it up after a Twins game, and I wasn't disappointed. I had the PBJ burger (pineapple salsa, bacon, and jalepeño) with a fruit cup and mini donuts for dessert. Everything tasted fantastic, and the fruit cup was an actual fruit cup, not a bunch of tasteless melon. The host and server were both super friendly, as well. I hope I get the chance to go back soon!

I went here with a few coworkers after having a not so welcoming experience and another restaurant down the street AND LET ME JUST TELL YOU we had such a great time with even more amazing food and even more amazing service! We ended up sitting at the bar and April was our bartender and she was absolutely lovely! She made us spectacular drinks and gave excellent recommendations. She was such a joy to have especially after our not so great experience at the beginning of our night. The other bartender helping her, Abbey, was also delightful! They even tried to recreate a “cherry mule” we really enjoyed from another bar but they didn’t quite get it right, THEY MADE IT EVEN BETTER! I’m so glad we went here for dinner. Wings were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had (try the sticky wings if you like cilantro!), drinks were on point, and we loved the atmosphere and energy from all the wonderful service. Highly recommend!

While visiting Minneapolis, I wanted to find the best Burger in town, but have delicious vegan options. Red Cow did NOT disappoint. All 5 of us chose different items, and they were ALL fabulous. Large, juicy, perfectly cooked on soft buns that managed to stand up to all the juice. The fried and truffle tots were delicious. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, fun and attentive. Update: favorite burger may have changed but that's it! Still a great spot! One of the best beer selections in the north loop. My favorite is the Manhattan burger with gruyère, but all of the burgers and sandwiches are top notch. Their cheese curd batter is amazing - light and not overdone - and the onion rings are just as good! There are plenty of healthy options as well, but the rich stuff is delicious.

Great place to get burgers. Happy hours go from 3 to 6 and then 10 to close i.e. midnight. Although most burgers are great here, i recommend getting the turkey burger. But, with staffing & capacity challenges, that was understandable. Server was very gracious about it. We'd definitely come back.

I went to red cow for brunch this morning with my family. It was a great environment. The kids meals were very cute with homemade cookies. We had Elena as our server. This was an amazing experience for lunch. I came in and was greeted by a nice young waitress and given a booth by request. Our server was extremely well knowledged on the menu and what tastes best with what sides and dishes. This ended in me giving him a $20 tip. I had just moved into the area from NYC and Red Cow was the first restaurant my boyfriend and I tried. Very friendly and attentive staff and food and beer came out quick. They had a nice craft beer selection and had one of my favorite beers on tap. My boyfriend had the double barrel burger with coleslaw and I ordered the Barcelona burger, both were delicious. I would return just for the Barcelona alone. The coleslaw was excellent. I look forward to dining here again.

Plus, I’ve always been met with fantastic costumer service. Red Cow is a fun downtown eating establishment. They have a wide variety of items on the menu and a great selection of draft beers. I would say most people know then for their myriad of delicious and inventive burgers, including a burger with peanut butter on it for those in the mood for something new. The main draw for me here, though, is their pretzels-which are stuffy, crumbly, and delicious-and their chiliquiles. I come here must often for brunch on the weekend and almost always start with a stout/porter and a pretzel, followed by the chiliquiles.

The burgers were amazing, but the service was even better. My partner and I got two separate burgers (the Ultimate and the Barcelona) and asked for them to be cut in half so that we could each try the other's burger. Not only did they cut them in half, they plated it so that we already had half-and-half (one half of the Ultimate and one half of the Barcelona). I have been here once before, and remembered a white sauce they served but couldn't recall what it was. The waiter explained that the aioli comes with the truffle fries (which we hadn't ordered) but brought it for us anyway, along with ranch. Overall, everyone was so helpful and we loved the food.

We ended up feeling like we were an annoyance e to the server as we did not have any drinks but water. We ordered appetizers and burgers and a dessert right away to make it easier and she acknowledged ow good the avocado cheesecake was so we were white for that!! We the food came we had to wait for our server to come over to ask for ketchup strange since we had burgers and fries. We asked te busboy for a pitcher o watt no ice and tha sufficed until another Busser took it away when clearing the burger plates…… without asking or filling our glasses….. The server stopped by and dropped our check and that was the end…. At this point we were shocked and chose to forgo dessert and leave Tipping 15% which is 10% lower than normal as we were disappointed with no more water and the missing cheesecake! 2nd sad experience and for $80 for two for lunch——disappointing.

The food was very good, specially the California Burger. I got really good service from the two bartenders that helped me, who went above and beyond to try to accommodate to my request that one of the TVs be changed to show a specific sporting event, while every other TV was focused on baseball games. The reason for knocking down two stars it that it seemed that those workers were yelled at by management for trying to help me, which made me feel rather uncomfortable.

Service was great. We had two kids under two and the staff was wonderful. The kids meal had raw chicken - I ate some before knowing and did get mild food poisoning (24hrs later, lasted 48hrs with all the delightful symptoms). The meal was taken off and replaced. I wrote the GM to let him know about my food poisoning and did not hear back, which was really the only misstep.

Everything on the menu is flavorful and the portions are huge at a mostly reasonable price. Coming from Colorado visiting friends. Food here was great! Employees noticed I didn’t eat a lot my 60/40 burger, they wanted to make sure it was okay, it was delicious! ( I just can't eat a lot due to health issues) I did tell them it was over cooked a bit but still tasted great, but they still offered to remake it, I declined so they took it off my bill which they didn't need to do. Had very good service the staff and management where all very nice and understanding! 10/10 would definitely come back!

This place is worth checking out. The look of it alone is gorgeous, and the food is insanely good. I thought at first that it seemed a little expensive, but the food was amazing. They have a really unique menu for a place you would think is just a burger joint. At one point they handed out little free donuts. The service was fast, and everyone who works there is as nice as they are adorable. They're such a great group of people. I feel like the drinks menu could improve a little. The bloody Mary I had was really yummy, but for how expensive as it was, I'm not sure there was very much alcohol in it at all. My best bud had their gin and cold brew, he loves it so so much, but it was definitely not for me. If you haven't gone, go. If you have, go back! (Also has gluten free menu items!)

I’m going to give 5 stars because ultimately the food was faultless, the atmosphere is great and when I was served my food the person who did it (separate to my initial server) was informed and passionate. I had a similar experience just now as to someone who reviewed here previously. Seated myself and it took 15 minutes to be attended to — and only because I kindly waved them down. They brought over menus and then it took after 10 minute before my server took my order. The food arrived a short moment later but without the non-alcoholic beverage I had ordered. After finishing my meal (15 minutes or so) the drink had arrived. Pointless really. This was also after the lunch rush around 2:30pm. Great place. Would recommend it. Could only suggest for staff to be more attentive. Of course, it could have just been one of those days for them too. Have recommended this restaurant to the rest of my touring party and would dine again next time I’m in town, provided I’m not on a time constraint.

I really enjoyed dining in this restaurant. They have a really nice bar, and the waitress was professional and prompt, too. I had to choose the award-winning double barrel burger, and she had to tell me that it was so good. When I got the burger, I understood why she told me that it was so good because, indeed, it was so freaking good. If you like Five Guys, then you can think of this burger as the next level. It was very meaty, very cheesy, and very well-made. If you’re in Minneapolis, then I highly suggest you consider trying this burger.

I’ve been to this location several times as well as the Uptown location which we usually go to and have never had a bad experience. I was here on Friday with my boyfriend and we had Suzie as our server. She was awesome, attentive, and when my boyfriend’s burger came without the bacon he ordered (which marks the first and only time we’ve ever had anything remotely close to an “issue” at Red Cow but definitely wasn’t a big deal at all!) she ran and got bacon and took off the upcharge right away. The burgers are always delicious - I usually get the double barrel with bacon and it never disappoints. Red Cow will always be our top choice for Best Burger, I just wish there was one closer to the northwest suburbs!

Went here on the recommendation of a co worker and it was fantastic. A dark, warm atmosphere that was very clean. Our server, whose name I failed to get, was fast and friendly and was around enough to make sure we had what we needed but not so much it was annoying. We ordered the tots and onion rings as appetizers. Both were tremendous. I particularly liked the onion rings. They were not frozen but made in house with a light crispy breading and thick slices of onion and the sauces they're served with were really really good. I had the double barrel burger with the hand cut fries as my entree. This is the burger I've been looking for since I moved to St Paul 7 months ago. It. Was. Perfect. I highly recommend you check this place out but ve prepared to drop around $20 a person on the low end.

Very good service, food and burgers. The highlight of this place is the beet/goat cheese salad. It is really robust and flavorful. I usually get it with a side of grilled chicken and a cold iced tea. Liked pretty much everything about this place. Food: Great. Both burgers we had were excellent, as were the regular and sweet potato fries. The blend of meat they use for the beef is very tasty. And the combinations they come up with put a lot of different flavors into the burger. The beer selection was also pretty extensive, with several different varieties on tap. Service: Outstanding. We sat at the bar, and our bartender had extensive knowledge of what makes a good burger. She was also very friendly and courteous. As an example of the service quality, my wife and I each wanted our own burger, but wanted to try both. The bartender knew this and when they brought out our entrees, they had already cut each burger in half and put both on our plates. I think most places would just hand you a knife and leave it to you. It's a small thing, but we appreciated the attention to detail. Atmosphere: Very good. Pretty casual place. Lots of TVs. We were there in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday and there were quite a few people for in between lunch and dinner. They've got an outdoor patio, too, for the warmer months. All in all, a very positive experience. I'd go back.

Had a pretty good meal here. I ordered the smash burger - double barrel and it was excellent but the portion size was small. The fries it comes with are a standout as well. Wife ordered the 60/40 which is the third time she has ordered it and she used to like it until she had half of my double barrel. Our server seemed bothered that we were there. She did her job, just not the best attitude. We were there in the morning before a Vikings game and there was plenty of seating and staff. Place was starting to really fill up at 11am when we left.

Food and service were both amazing. Atmosphere was incredible. The place felt posh buy had the comfort food of a hood diner. Only problem I had was kitchen speed. It took awhile to get burgers once we ordered. I am going to chalk that to their made to order style. Great place for a date, lunch meeting or just going out on your own.

The restaurant had a funky atmosphere, and our waitress was super nice. We had a short wait, but it didn't seem to take very long at all. I got the 60/40 burger and my wife got the bison burger, both of which were delicious. Their fries were also quite good. After trying three different specialty burgers on the menu, I have not been impressed by the flavor combinations. In each case, the exotic ingredients used to top the burgers often do not meld together very well. On the other hand, their salads are fantastic and should be the flagship menu item of the restaurant. Service is usually pretty quick and the restaurant is often busy during lunch and dinner. The ambiance and layout of the restaurant is beautiful, minus the tiny 2-person tables that barely have enough room to hold 2 plates of food.

I had some coworkers recommend this place while I was visiting on a work trip and I am so glad they did! This place has some of the best burgers I've had anywhere, Minnesota or elsewhere. The bison burger was so good, juicy and delicious and the fig and goat cheese with caramelized onion was a perfect combination. The atmosphere was awesome as well and the staff is very friendly.

I’ve come for happy hour a few times(3pm-6 & 10- close). I like the Japanese sticky wings and the brussel sprouts. The chicken sandwich is also really good. One of the best brownie sundaes I’ve had in a while. On a busy night, you’ll have trouble finding your waiter. Other than that, it’s a nice spot to hangout with friends.

A group of 8 of us went here last night- the food was great and the drink of the moment was a rosemary cocktail, so delicious! However, I was shocked when we were told by 3 waitstaff throughout our stay that we had to eat and leave within 90 minutes. I’ve never experienced this as a customer or in my time serving. It said nothing on our reservation email about us needing to leave within a certain amount of time. We left within their preferred time frame, but we certainly felt “shooed” out of there. I probably wouldn’t go back with a “big” group if we’re on a ticking clock, it felt unwelcoming.

Wish I could leave more stars! This place is wonderful. First, they have a great dog-friendly patio, and the staff was super welcoming to my dog (and they brought him a water bowl!). Second, the food is incredible. It is rare to find a place that can do crazy burger creations (I swear the Cowboy is at least a half a foot tall), PLUS they have a whole plant-based section of the menu (buffalo cauliflower was the best I've ever had). Third, great beer selection, including lots of local brews. I'll recommend Red Cow to anyone who will listen. Thank you!

Their takeout game is ON POINT! So smooth and easy to get, and everything was well-packaged. I didn't love my tex-mex bowl, but it was OK.I just wasn't in the mood for a burger, but I should have gotten one because the rest of the family did and they were awesome. Breakfast burger, double burger, and the ground bacon/beef burger (whose name I don't remember). They were all super tasty. Highly recommend the whole experience.

I don't get the hype. The food is alright. The buffalo sauce on the chicken sandwich I got was more sweet than heat, and the jalapenos didn't add much. I also got an arugula salad, but you need to order dressing on the side or it will be completely soaked. The portion of fries you get varies greatly quality and quantity, which is weird considering the come in a container. They are also sometimes more moist than fries should be.

After being seated it took about ten minutes before anyone came and greeted me or took my drink order. I came after the lunch rush as I always do when grabbing lunch so I was pretty surprised it took so long. The waitress finally took my drink order and I had plenty of time to look over the menu so I was ready to order right then. The actual drink never came out and then the food came. It was a different person who brought the food out so I figured I would remind the waitress about my drink once she came to check on me. That never happened, needless to say I regretted not informing the staff who brought my food out that I never received my beverage. The next time I saw my waitress or any other staff was well after I was finished with my food. The patty melt I ordered was very tasty but excessively greasy which made the bread very soggy. The fries were good but nothing stood out about them and my pretzel with beer cheese very chewy and the beer cheese just tasted like nacho cheese from taco bell with a splash of beer. Over all the food wasn't the worst but for a twenty dollar entree and appetizer it should have been a lot better. I would not recommend this to anyone with time restraints or if you are parched.

My visit to Red Cow couldn’t have been better. Friendly and attentive service, a good selection of beers, and a long list a unique burgers. I had the double barrel Manhattan burger which was outstanding. Tater tots as a side alternative to regular fries was a great touch. Definitely a place I would go back to the next time in Minneapolis.

Red cow is one of my favorite burger place in twin cities. I didn't try all the burgers but I like the veggie and turkey burgers. The side options are good. There are plenty of fresh brewed and bottled beers and good collection of hard liquor and cocktails They do have happy hour. The place gets really crowded , there is no ahead reservation but you could find place quickly or hang out at the bar area where there is usually few spots open. Ambience is good. The pricing is decent. Service is very good

The Barcelona burger was fabulous and perfectly prepared (I'd ordered med rare, & it's not often that any kitchen *ever* nails it). One the best places for a burger and beer in the city. Good wings too. The service is always friendly and they have a good happy hour menu. I'm partial to this location since I live across the street, but they also deliver via Bite Squad too and have a high rating with them as well. Was pleasantly surprised to learn they do a brunch too which is surprisingly empty! For dinner and lunch though, one can expect a wait. Yes, you can walk up to the bar, but during Happy Hour, it might be harder to score a spot. During the summertime, they have a selection of outdoor seating as well!

The cowboy burger is awesome, has root beer pulled pork on it that is some of the best I've personally had. The 60/40 burger was a tad bland but still very fresh and well made. Always a good time! This has been our office lunch go to spot for years. Cheers was right, sometimes you wanna go where everyone knows your name - especially when you can have curds and sprouts with your Surly! Serious though, the staff is always great, they have a rotating selection of seasonal beers as well as tried and true suds. Great burgers and the boneless wings are amazing.

This place was fantastic! They had great portion sizes for the price, I got a soup of the day and they were very generous with it. Burgers were juicy and wonderful, lots of cheese and sauces. They were very generous with the fries as well, be sure to get the sweet potato fries!! Those are worth it. You'll leave here feeling very full.

This was my second trip to the North Loop location along with a number of other times to St. Paul or other locations. I am seldom disappointed when I go to Red Cow and order a burger. My favorite is the Manhattan 2.0 burger. It's not something I would normally order but it is amazing. The blended meat burger plus the unique jam and bacon they put on it are out of this world. My wife had the Cowboy burger which was equally amazing. The combo of pulled pork, burger, and BBQ sauce make this a fantastic option. The cheese curds along with the 'Red Cow' ketchup are a fantastic app. Add the amazing beer selection, the great atmosphere at the North Loop location...you've got a place that you simply MUST TRY.

Had a great experience here - quick and friendly service, excellent food, and a great tap selection. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the beers, and was able to recommend some great selections for us based on our tastes. My wife is a cheesehead so we of course had to get the cheese curds, which definitely passed muster. The triple berry ketchup paired great with them. She had the salad and I had the Manhattan 2.0 burger, which was incredible. The atmosphere was cool and relaxed, and they clearly have a great business model - the place was packed at 2:00 PM on a Sunday. Would love to visit here again when I'm in town!

These burgers were great! I had the 60/40 and it was delicious! our server advised us that you could swap one patty for another and a few people in my party did this as well. Be sure to try their housemade ketchup! They don't take reservations but my group of 12 got in pretty quickly on a Saturday night, and our orders were swiftly taken and received. One of my group also had a birthday and he got a free burger because of that!

I got the Tennessee spicy sandwich. The chicken quality was not good, it tasted like one of those frozen chicken patties you put in the microwave. Also, it was not spicy. The fries were good. Was not worth the $12.50 for the sandwich. I liked the sparkling water. Atmosphere was pretty good. Servers were very friendly and welcoming.

The burgers are some of the best I've had, hands down. My friend had the impossible burger and it actually does taste like meat. Everything was tasty, but my favorite part was actually probably the cheese curds. The coating was a delicate light fry and the blueberry (maybe blackberry?) sauce served with the curds, though it sounds weird, gave it the perfect tangy twist to bring it all together.

Make reservations!!! It was packed on a Wednesday night, a table for one was a 45 minute wait, but if you can sneak into the bar you might be lucky enough to snag a seat. After happy hour the bar is less crowded. The beer selection is vast and the bar team was great at making recommendations. Burger was great!

Have gone here twice for lunch, it’s always packed. I’ve had two separate types of burgers and each on has been amazing. Meat is super flavorable and cooked perfect. We’ve had chips and dip and cheese curds for apps - both were amazing. I’m usually not a huge fan of curds, but these are top notch - great taste and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the “Red Cow Grind” which has ribeye, chuck, and short rib & brisket. Always cooked to perfection and not too heavy on the stomach - unless you get a bigger version - which I might do next time :). Really great place, highly recommend for any burger lovers. You may want to make reservations or get there a bit earlier than you usually do.

Excellent food. Great vibe. The place is great for groups of 2 to a dozen. They've decorated it with a few tasteful nods to the industrialized slaughterhouse. The menu is good, with options for gluten free and non-beef as well. I think there was even a veggie burger. They have televisions that play sports mostly, it seems. Staff is excellent.

An all around great experience. I went on a Friday night and had expected it to be busy. When we got there and they had a waitlist, we gave them our phone number, and they said it would be a 45-1hr wait. Their wait list system is amazing compared to some other restaurants, as they text you when your table is available so that gives you freedom to walk around downtown or kill time at the Whole Foods next door. After 40 mins we got the text, walked back and were seated to our table. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and thorough for it being as busy as it was. We got the fish fry and the 60/40 burger. Food came out fast and correct. Burger was cooked at a perfect medium rare and the fish tasted good with its accompanied tartar sauce. I can’t say the general taste of the burger blew me away, but it was fresh, juicy and filling. I am excited to go back.

Really delicious place with great service. Ordered the ahi tuna crisps, now I can't live without them. Cheese curds were excellent as well. The wine selection was robust and just what I was looking for. Our server was attentive and enjoyable to speak with, never rushing us, only offering last minute happy hour reminders and checking in when appropriate. I enjoy this location almost as much as I enjoy the St. Paul Selby location. Even if you're not a big meat eater, you'll enjoy this spot.

I know burgers. I love burgers. I've been a burger fan since I had my first at age 1 (seriously, I have the picture). I have tried a great deal of burgers in my life, especially around the Cities. The first burger I had here was outstanding. The quality of ingredients and, of course, the meat, the blend and balance of flavors, were all phenomenal and excited the taste buds in a world of burger places trying to be new and different and falling short. The brussel sprouts I had on the side were an equally new and exciting take, guiltily deep fried briefly (not breaded) and absolutely delicious with a touch of savory sauce on the bottom of the cast iron pan they were served in. The beer list is long and varied enough to satisfy many beer snobs such as myself, though not extensive (and needing more Belgians), nothing terribly impressive in a city that prides itself on beer. The service, however, is phenomenal here. From hostesses to server to a random server or manager wishing us a lovely evening on the way out, they were bright and upbeat and clearly enjoyed being there. I also found out that unlike far too many restaurants, Red Cow does have their staff try every menu item, so they know what they're talking about. As I was the newbie this visit, our friendly server patiently and almost excitedly described the burgers I was interested in enough to give them dimension and help me choose from a consistently tasty-looking menu. I ramble about this place because I was thusly impressed. The decor is nothing terribly special, consisting of typical trendy furniture and the kind of strip spot lighting you see in your dad's basement theater area, and meat hooks on rails adorn the ceiling with a bright red paint go accent-- but trust me friends, that's where the mediocrity ends. If you want a darned tasty, different burger, try Red Cow.

Never disappointed with Red Cow. The cheese curds are my idea of a perfect curd. Battered (not breaded), wonderfully golden and full of cheese. Plus the fruit based dipping sauce is a nice compliment. The burgers are always amazing and I've never had bad service. If you're looking for a lunch or dinner that feels casual enough to be comfortable but high quality in everything, Red Cow is perfect.

The food was some of the best that we've had. The bison burger was cooked to perfection. The cheese curds and hard-boiled eggs were delicious. However, the whole experience went downhill pretty fast because of the service. A drink was forgotten. Then a whole meal. Then a mimosa took another 15 minutes to show up. The manager did remove the meal and offered a drink on the house but the server herself was nowhere to be found. She wasn't attentive and avoided the table after the incidents.

Was really looking forward to bringing my kids here. First time I visited it was all fantastic. This time around it was okay, not my previous stellar experience. I like the urban, industrial, decor. Eclectic, yummy burgers and breakfast food. Good beers. Love the caramel bacon puff corn but ours was stale last visit. The Black Velvet pancakes were a hit with my son. By breakfast chimi was flavorful, spicy, but a little soggy like it sat too long waiting for the eggs on top to cook. I'd go back to see which version was the true red cow experience.

Went there for a birthday. A surprise celebration. The appetizers were good. The wait staff a bit sparse for a busy summer evening. Two in our party wanted their burgers more well done and that seemed to be an issue. I chose the medium blues but honestly, it was disappointing. The middle of the burger was basically warm ground beef. Barely holding together. And the cheese dripped out in two bites. Couldn't tell if it was bleu cheese or not. But the fries were good. Wouldn't fight the traffic, crowds and parking hassle to go there again.

Out of all the Red Cow restaurants in the Twin Cities this one is the best! Such a fun vibe, always have been able to be seated with minimal wait, and the service is outstanding! Our waiter, Michael, is fabulous. If you want an engaging waiter who is on top of his game then request him. I took my mother to the Red Cow for the first time and Michael really made it a great experience. He recommended the perfect burger for her and as a result we came back a couple weeks later to have him as a server again! All the food is good...Seriously, I have yet to have a bad meal here and I've nearly tried it all. Their happy hour cocktail drinks are well crafted and taste delicious too! Thank you so much, we really appreciate the great food and top notch service.
