Between the Italian opera in the speakers and the soap opera running on full blast on the cell phone of kitchen staff on break, the atmosphere kinda sucked and kinda headache inducing 😵‍💫 The pizzas were quite good though, even if a bit pricey, and they seemed to have managed putting regular pepperoni on my pizza and spicy pepperoni on my six year olds pizza 😂

Every time I come here has been an amazingly transcendent experience. I always get the Napoli pizza with garlic, onions and cracked red pepper and Punch Pizza delivers a knockout experience with every pie. I never feel too full or bloated after eating the whole thing with the exception of the crust — that goes to my doggy! I’m a regular here and will keep frequenting this place for as long as we’re both around. Their pizzas smell so good that sometimes when I bring my pie home, I’ll let it sit on the counter for a while like an aromatic candle before I reheat it in the oven and finally eat it. So not only do you get a great meal, but it also comes with built-in aromatherapy!! Note: pictured is the Margherita pizza which is also like love in your mouth.

Incredibly good food and a very cute interior. It was quite artistic while still maintaining the typical home-feel scenery that's often found at other locstions. The staff were all quite nice and it was clean indoors. I have no complaints.

Fast service, with a smile! The pizza is tasty with an open space dining concept (large family dining table to seat with anyone). Very kid friendly with simple food options to choose. We ordered two pizzas - pepperoni and a sausage. Both very good!

Great pizza for a great price! You can watch them make the pizza in front of you and it’s ready quickly. The staff was all super friendly and energetic. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I didn’t get the focaccia this time, but plan to the next time.

Great fire oven pizzas. I really like the crust, and fired vegetables. Even during the lunch hour pizzas only take 5 -7 minutes. There's also a parking lot with free parking next door. I like the patio in the summer, and the during lights at night.

BY FAR the BEST pizza i've ever had in my life. Staff were incredibly nice and kind. There was a young man being trained in. He too was cool. 5 stars but the countertop by the window was not clean. Had lettuce, meat, cheese, ect. Cheese and toppings fell off the pizza easily but still, people their pizza taste-wise is 10/10

Always great pizza! The gluten free option is my fav because it is chewy and bakes perfectly evenly. Totally worth the price and I'm not even on a gluten free diet. Someday hoping for some vegan cheese from this spot!

I’ve been going here for years before COVID had the location temporarily closed. It’s finally open again! Alex is the best store manager I’ve ever met!! He is so nice and personable along with the whole staff. The food and quality that I’ve gotten out of this location has always been 10/10. If you don’t know where to go to eat , go to Punch Pizza in NE mpls. You won’t be disappointed 👍

Like all Punch locations I've visited, the food here was very quick, made to order and tasted fantastic. It's Neapolitan style pizza, but don't overlook the other foods, especially the gorgonzola salad which I find to be a mighty tasty treat. Very friendly service and a warm atmosphere makes for a good meal here. Meter parking availability can vary based on the time of day, so keep that in mind if you aren't arriving by bike or foot.

We ordered online and they were crazy busy when we arrived, about ten minutes later. The lovely person working expo/managing let us know they were a bit behind. She was super efficient and entertaining in the brief interaction we had before our order was ready to go. She also offered us coupons for next time. Every Punch is great but this one is a favorite. Great neighborhood, great staff (they bring the pizza to you at this location) and super nice patio for warm days. Punch is love! Update: May 24, 2022 and my first time back to this location in years (it was closed for two pandemic years). Still great, and that patio is amazing.

I’m gonna keep this short...Punch has the best pizza in all of the Twin Cities. Yes YJ is also amazing but Punch is truly special. Top favs: the Toto, the Mimi and Punch salad. Cannot wait for the patio to open back up, glad can do take out at least.

Favorite local pizza "chain". Neapolitan style, 800 degree oven. Really good salads too. This is not your heavy duty, two pounds of cheese with sauce oozing down your shirt kind of pizza. They make a thin, chewy crust, use premium ingredients, and then cook it in a wood fired oven. On top of making great pizza, I love than Punch pays its staff a reasonable wage, and started doing so in the middle of the recession. And they tend to keep their staff for a lot longer than most places. Great business model, great food.

I honestly was skeptical I'd enjoy their pizza after looking at it. I was pleasantly surprised. Their pizza is actually really good. I'm not sure that the buffalo mozzarella is much better than standard mozzarella. My only issue was that a decent portion of my crust was burnt so a bit of my pizza just tasted like burnt, not pizza. I'm looking forward to going back to try it again and hopefully get less burnt crust.

We came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and ordered a couple pizzas and a salad (try the punch salad, it’s delicious even if you’re not a big salad guy like me). Besides the great food, you get the service of a sit down restaurant. All of the employees are very attentive and make sure your dining experience is enjoyable. I would highly recommend. (Also, sign up for text alerts to get frequent discounts and BOGOS on pizzas, there’s usually something good at least once or twice a month)

Normal pizza just isn't the same after having the best goddamn pizza I've ever had. An old coworker brought it up and sung its praises and I thought he was crazy but NO the pizza really is THAT great! I adore this place and have to go every time I'm in the city. The people are nice when you're new and have no idea what you've gotten yourself into, the decoration is weird but cool, it's fun to watch them pull pizzas out of the brick oven, and its fast service. Love this place!!

First Punch Pizza I had ever been too and still one of my top favorite places to eat anywhere Minnesota. Any place with an open kitchen gets a 👌 from me because it means they have to care about cleanliness and appearance. You see what you order and can ask questions over the counter too This location always has friendly staff. Prices have steadily gone up over the years, but let's be honest what hasn't? Skip anything besides a soda or water and you're good. Please don't buy wine. Its pizza. calm down. Salads are fresh and an amazing alternative.

Punch Pizza is one of the best places to grab some real tastes of Neapolitan Pizza. Dubbed "the best pizza I've ever had" by many locals, this place has a wide variety of vegetarian, meat based, and mixed pizzas with an equally wide array of toppings in their signature collection. They even offer a create your own pizza service for you to really customize the Neapolitan tradition into your own perfect pizza. Lastly, if you don't feel like pizza there are also delicious salads as alternatives. In terms of pricing, this place can seem a little pricey compared to other fast food/semi fast food restaurants but it definitely makes up for it with the value it provides. I recommend all those looking to have a good, Italian style pizza to try Punch! Also, if I were to provide one negative it's that the lines/waiting times can sometimes take a little too long during the peak dining hours but for some, the anticipation just makes the food better.

My favorite pizza in the cities. All about the fresh quality ingredients. Fast and affordable, great for large groups and families. Salads are delicious. Local tap beers and wine available. I think they have local Izzy ice cream at most locations. Pour some olive oil and salt on a plate for dipping your crust in.

Always fantastic! They have really great Neapolitan style pizza, salads, apps, beer/wine. The quality here is outstanding. I've not had a bad experience yet (and I've eaten here countless times over the past several years). My wife and I always get a pizza, the punch salad, artichoke dip and split it. They have a large community table in the center for larger groups. They have a great outdoor patio in the nicer months.

I have never EVER been disappointed here! Before I moved to Minneapolis I was NOT a pizza person. My friend dragged me to punch and my life has been forever changed. I love Punch Pizza, and this location is great. You order at the counter, but they being the pizza to you. I've had good service here, and the food is consistent with other Punch locations. They also have a loyalty program if you sign up for text alerts. In addition to delicious, Neopolitan style wood fired pizza, Punch also offers delicious salads (my favorite is the Rocket) and a chocolate hazelnut panini for dessert, which I highly recommend.

One of my favorite pizza places in Twin Cities. The pizza is made directly from their special oven and you could custom make your own pizza. No matter how you choose, it's always very tasty. Highly recommended. Like other locations, staff here are very friendly and efficient. They serve to your table after you order from the front desk. Once in a while they offer some promotional deal as well. During holiday seasons, their gift cards have a great deal as well.

Unlike Punch in stadium village, they will deliver the pizza to your table here, which makes for an overall more pleasant experience. Staff during my visit were friendly and professional. Pizza was just as tasty as other locations. Simple decor inside with wood booths and tables. Punch is my go-to for a bad day remedy, celebratory dinner, or inexpensive lunch alone or with friends.

One is there best Neapolitan crusts in the country. Go D.O.C. or add toppings like an American. Family friendly. Group friendly. Quite popular; you'll get an estimate of pizza time when you order. The Punch salad comes with a few slices of garlic pizza and is a terrific alternative if you're in a salad mood.

Punch Pizza Northeast is the best of all the Punch Pizza's. They seem to train all the managers and cooks at this one before sending them to the other newer locations. The crust is pushed out to just the right thickness and the bottom is charred just right. We've been to this location at least a hundred times and it's my favorite pizza I've ever had.

Love love love this place. I usually head to the Stadium village location on Oak and Washington right by the U of MN campus, but the quality is consistent across all of their locations. These pizzas have a crispy thicker crust along the outside edge, and turn into gooey deliciousness the closer you get to the middle (and the more toppings you add). It's hot, fast and despite how busy they usually are, I've never had a wrong order, and the staff has always been incredibly nice and efficient.

Always tasty and the service is outstanding. Punch Pizza Northeast makes it so easy to order, pay, find a table-inside or out-and then a hot pizza arrives at your table. I always get the margarita pizza, a tasty classic and a bargain under $7. The sauce is so light and tangy, with the melty mozzarella on top of the thin crust. The Caesar salad is tasty and big enough to share. Yum! This location is my favorite! Free parking makes it easy peasy to stop in for a quick bite anytime. Avoid driving altogether by taking MetroTransit Bus 4, 6 or 10.

I love punch pizza and Neapolitan pizza. The super chewy crust keeps me coming back. That said sometimes the pizzas miss. The crust can be too salty, sometimes to much oil and sauce makes the top runny, or there isn't enough toppings, every so often the bottom gets scorched and blackened. Still, it is usually on point and I would choose it before any NY style joint.

Being raised on the east coast, it's hard to find great NY Style pizza in the Midwest. This is certainly the closest I've found (only minus the huge slices Punch doesn't offer). The quality is amazing. I just think it's BS that you pay $10 plus for a personal pizza like you do here. That price is a joke, but the taste is fantastic. So, my advise, if you a food snob, fire away. if you are frugal or cheap, keep walking.

The Punch Salad and Focaccia is one of our favorite go-to takeout dinners. The staff is always really friendly and the quality is great. Plus they have parking which is a must for this spot in Northeast. There is a lot of attention with other brick oven pizza joints in the area but this still stands as one of the best.

This location does very well with their busy lunch rush. I've never had trouble finding a seat even during peak time. I love the fact that they have a parking lot! So convenient and makes it possible to drive out from downtown just for lunch. Can't wait for the patio to open again. The toto is my all time favorite pizza. Throwing the DOC on a simple pepperoni is a also a great choice. The wonderful consistency of the pizza is achieved by the use of a video audit system and selects a certain amount of pizzas from each pizziola for personal review. The best pizziolas are rewarded

I love their doppio Rugula #11. Whenever I'm hung over it's magic in a box. I went one lazy Monday and ordered my usual, but they gave me the wrong pizza! I went yo grab a slice before I got in the car and was so bummed... Needing my fix, I was fully prepared to go back in and buy a new one but they recognized me from a few seconds ago and gave me a new one! For free!! *Wonderful* customer service, always friendly and welcoming. Despite being a chain, every restaurant is unique and friendly and full of great staff.

Punch Pizza is by far my favorite pizza option in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area, and I’ve been to most of the options in the past year. They have great topping options, a near-perfect Neapolitan thin crust heated to perfection, and a price that will surprise you based on the high quality you receive. If I had to (was lucky enough to) live in a pizza shop, I’d choose this one and never look back. 4.8 Stars.

I love all Punch Pizza locations. This is an opportunity for true Neapolitan-style pizza in an 850 degree oven, with a few ingredients of your choice - the result is delicious. Punch is a growing chain that maintains quality at every sight I have been to (Grand Ave, Highland Park, Stadium Village, East Hennepin, Woodbury). The soft, floppy pizza with some burnt edges is something to behold. Some great salads to go along - we always get the Grecco salad to share. Fast-casual service, which works just fine. Highly recommended for the great food and value.

Gluten free was soggy. Juice from the crushed tomato sauce. I asked my server (very politely) if the wheat crusts were also. I was corrected by him and told that it was oil (I did order an extra drizzle of olive oil). I wish you could see my empty plate with oil AND tomato juice. The crusts on both our pizzas were wet and soggy. Even better, he held his finger one inch above my child's food and told me that THAT was the oil from the pepperoni. Nice... Pieology's gluten free was WAY, WAY better. I had punches gluten free last summer and it was delicious. The crusty is very light.

I have strongly mixed feelings about Punch because the pizzas are delicious and sometimes they are awesome - but sometimes they come out soggy and horrible as other reviews have noted. There is an art to making wood fired stove pizzas of this style and the "kids" they have working there don't always get it right.

Pizza like you've never experienced. Cooked in a brick hut oven at 800 degrees for 90 seconds. At first glance it's completely opposite of your traditional American pizza. The crust is thin, the toppings include artichokes and proscuitto, the sauce is light almost non existent. But, the flavor will blow you away.

What can I say, it's Punch. They have the best wood stove pizza on the market. Black Sheep, you pale in comparison I'm afraid. The Napoli is my fav, with a cold San Pellegrino orange to wash it down with. Friendly staff and prompt service.

Punch Pizza is a great place that everyone should visit at least once! I find their pizzas to be a little bland, but they have something for everyone (at least in the way of pizza and salad options) and make a great italian style salad! Free parking in the lot on 2nd and Hennepin.
