If you are looking for one of the best pizza place in twin cities, you’re reading the right review at the right time on the right app. Ample parking at this place, very friendly staff, fresh and delicious pizza right out of the oven. I’m giving five stars to this place just for the deliciousness. Highly recommend to go here and dine in or conveniently take out. Love their patio seating and enjoy the beautiful weather outside when it’s summer.

I love punch!!! I’ve been coming here for years, but I never thought to review it. It’s consistently affordable, delicious, and distinct from other Twin Cities pizza options. I always crave their classic Margherita pizza, but the Toto is delightful as well. They have wonderful salads and focaccia too. Totally recommend a stop here for lunch or dinner.

They serve a Neapolitan style pizza here. The crust is very thin (too much so for my taste), except for a thicker, larger crust. There's less sauce & toppings than I prefer. I suspect that it's a good example of the style they serve, and that it's just not preferred style. It's a fair pizza, but ... it's just not quite my cup of tea. The service was good, but they did shift toppings from one pizza in our order to another pizza. We had a partially baked order to take home, and they gave clear directions on how to finish cooking at home. The pizzas were completed quickly though it wasn't busy when we came.

Yum! I really like it here. Takeout is always a wonderful option. Their takeout is quick and easy. I love the margarita pizza and sometimes mix it up with the margarita but add sausage which is also so good. Since covid they removed indoor seating but have tables and chairs outside to sit on. Everyone working is super friendly. I love picking up my pizza and taking it to the lake for a quick picnic. It is not expensive and is a good size for a personal pizza. My boyfriend and I typically get two pizza and on occasion have one or two slices left. The leftovers are also good from the fridge. Everyone I know loves punch! I love punch!

Great spot for a relatively quick bite. The pizza last night was delicious as always, and the wait was shorter than expected. Nice staff. Make sure you grab some oil and vinegar for dipping your crust. I didn't love that they had all their freestanding tables arranged into one long table—I felt bad leaving open spaces between myself and other groups when the restaurant was busy, but it didn't feel busy enough to pull out a chair immediately next to a total stranger.

BEST margarita pizza in Minneapolis. The margarita pizza has the perfect dough, cheese, basil the crust is unparalleled. I miss this pizza when away from Minneapolis. Staff are also super friendly and seem happy. HIGHLY recommend. 10/10.

My husband and I were traveling to the area and found Punch Pizza Lake Calhoun. We are so happy that we did. The pizza melts in your mouth and is absolutely amazing!! We split a pizza and got a chocolate hazelnut panini. Every thing is made fresh on the spot and fired in the pizza oven. It only takes a few short minutes cook, and when they call out your number, then you can immerse yourself in total food satisfaction. Thank you Punch, we had the total food experience. Great food. Great service. Clean and comfortable environment. I will definitely go back when back in the area!!

Wonderful execution of Italian pizza without sacrificing for an American audience. Fast pizza lunch and dinner options or when you crave something simple and out of the ordinary. Spicy salami, buffalo mozzarella, and olive oil is definitely my favorite - but many options mean something for nearly everyone. Outside of a trip to Italy, this is a great shot at authentic Neopolitan style pizza.

No doubts the pizza is delicious! But if the employees were not as helpful and friendly as they are this place would not be as special. From the cashier to the young man cutting/boxing the pizzas (totally bilingual and interpreted for me), the young men serving the pizzas, everyone very amable. But the one person who makes the service and this location shine? Mr. Ambrosio So attentive, friendly and helpful. I spilled my wine without even trying it. Mr. Ambrosio rushed to help me. Before my pizza came, he also went guided me as to where to get the silverware and the napkins. Thank you Punch Pizza for choosing, training and keeping such a great team. I have to come back❣️

This place has altered my pizza expectations forever !!! Neapolitan style pizza with thin tasty crust, Just the right amount of toppings and less cheese . Every bite is filled with beautiful flavours and goodness of wood fired oven!! We had Vesuvio (the one with green piparras peppers ) and Maximus pizza. A must visit place if you love pizza !

delicious pizza, i got the margarita pizza and loved it! i would 100% come again and recommend punch to a friend. the only bad thing is we had to make 2 separate orders because they only let you order 5 pizzas at a time, other than that though i love this place, it’s so good!

Pizza is incredible here. It's our go to whenever we don't have time to cook and want to treat ourselves in an inexpensive way. We also love the rosemary bread (we have to order extra for the kids as they just gobble it up). Salads are lovely and the artichoke dip is divine. And they finally deliver now!

I love Punch Pizza, and I have for a long time. In the time of COVID, they have really stepped it up. Their ordering and takeout process was VERY efficient and very safe. Everyone was masked, socially distanced, and spent minimal time in the actual building. There was patio space to eat. The staff were very friendly and patient despite how hot it was, and how many customers there were waiting. At a place I already thought highly of, this place has set the bar even higher. What an exceptional experience!

Amazing staff. I was here today 04/21 around 6:30 and all 3 of the front workers were so friendly, attentive, and managed all the orders perfectly. The young man working dealt with an objectively cruel customer so professionally and nicely, even though she was worked up for no reason. The food was also great but the front workers really blew me away with how great they were.

If you've never been to punch it's a "subway" style italian style pizza place. Prefect place for group of friends that each want to get there own thing, pizza is perfectly sized for one. This location has a nice interior and patio and there is typically plenty of parking

This place never disappoints. For that fancy pizza taste in a non pretentious setting, look no further than Punch. Its quaint, authentic, quality, and delicious. The pizza is a bit on the flimsier side, but they disclaim that in the line. It's meant to be, it doesn't mean that it is under cooked! They assemble and fire it right in front of you and it smells amazing. The salads make the cut as well. So if you're on the fence about this place, in my opinion it is worth the price of a lunch to give them a shot.

I love this Punch location. I lived nearby for 3 years. There's just something about the way the pizzas taste here. I think they've had a group of core staff there for the same period of time, if not longer. I also like that they have local breweries on tap. I would recommend skipping the dinner rush and try to go early or else eat a little later, otherwise you'll be standing in line for a little bit.

The new gluten free pizza is pretty good but extremely overpriced. I paid $5 more for that and they only put sauce and cheese on half the pizza. What that heck, for real, do you have enough ingredients?

The pizzas are made right in front of you and always baked fresh! As a consumer of all things pizza, this is very aesthetically pleasing. The wait time is usually short rather than long thanks to a great staff! Depending on how busy the place is you can get your pizzas and salad under 8 minutes!! I've always had the Punch Salad and never seizes to satisfy the taste buds. One thing I did notice though is that the pizza is usually served on a plate (if dining- in) and depending on if you order an appetizer - key thing here is time - the pizza usually sits on the plate and creates moisture resulting in a soggy bottom. It's not the best of textures but the pizza is still worth it!!! Just a small FYI for those who don't notice the unseen.

Punch pizza ranks among my favorite pizza places. While this location is more fast-foodie than the original Highland Park restaurant, the pizza is consistently delicious. And while you won't get table service, you'll get your meal quickly. I love the margarita and a punch salad, but I think you'll be pleased with anything you select; and if you don't, bring it back to the pickup counter and they'll make a new one for you in 90 seconds.

Punch Pizza is incredible! This is one of the only pizzerias outside of Italy to be certified by the Neapolitan Pizza Board (yes, that exists). Their pizza is classic Neapolitan, with a thin, chewy, flame-baked crust, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, and a selection of high-quality italian-style toppings like basil, olives, salami, peppers, and prosciutto. It is all made to order in a huge wood-burning oven! A single pizza is enough for two children or one fairly hungry adult. The service is very fast--at off-peak times, two pizzas takes about 8 minutes, and at peak times it takes about 13. The selection of beer and wine is small but good. Salads, too, are delicious, but the pizza is where it's at.

Best pizza I have ever had in the States. Compares with the stuff made in the good restaurants in Italy. Light, unbelievably flavorful, and right out of the oven. Perfect balance. And their salad is at the same level as their pizzas. Also, this particular location is right next to Rustica bakery, which has amazing eclairs. So, wonderful place to go out to.

Although I love the flavor, prices are unusably high for personal sized pizzas. If you're gluten free watch out, the charge is an additional 3.50 as of March 2019 and they do not separate cooking areas. So, even if you order gluten free you will still have gluten from the other flour used. They are usually open about this at the Maple Grove location but the Calhoun square made no mention which could make for a very bad experience for some folks.

One of the best pizza places around. Love the wood-fired taste and all of the fresh ingredients. During peak eating times the line can get really long but it always moves quickly so don't let that deter you.

I love the concept of punch pizza as a whole. They are definitely the most affordable and the most Delicious hand stretch dough pizza in the whole Minnesota. It's coming from a pizza pragmatic so trust me their pizza are good. Never been a huge pizza fan, but there, the pizza is just at a whole other level of good. However I recommend the Minneapolis location. Calhoun cooks barely add any cheese to the pizza. Even when I ask for easy on the sauce, the pizza comes soggy. I gave them 3 chances. Now I am out :/

Same as the other Punches, although the location is better than most. Parking is not so good, but so long as you bike there (which you should be doing, anyway), there's no issue. Really wonderful pizza, and unlike the St Paul location, you order and wait for it, rather than being waited on, which is nice. Seems more casual, or something. Not a whole lot of beer, but whatever. Pizza is like food-beer, anyway.

Great pizza and amazingly fast service! I just tried this place for the first time and there were at least a dozen people ahead of me in line when I arrived, yet I was out the door with my fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza in ~10 minutes. The pizza was delicious, tradition italian with a thin crust and all fresh ingredients from the sauce to the toppings. I got mine to go but there was a large seating area both indoors and outside that could accommodate individuals or large groups.

Neapolitan style pizza, meaning thin chewy crust with artfully sparse but delicious toppings. Do not come here expecting American pizzeria style pizza. But do come prepared to be blown away.

Wow. This place surpassed our expectations and we expected a lot! Love the authentic Italian Neapolitan pizza and family-owned feel. The father was working along with the daughter and son when we went. All their pizzas are personal-size and brick oven baked. We got the Toscano and custom Sausage and Mushroom. We added extra crushed tomato otherwise you don't get a lot of sauce. Great!

The place was super busy, but the layout made it very easy to see the menu and find what you want. And the wait was minimal. There was more than enough room with the patio seating but it would be cramped on a winter's day or during a heavy rain. The food was fantastic, pizza was made right in front of you and was just made to the right crispiness for pizza.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm if you are a plain cheese and pepperoni pizza type you have to accept that you just can't order that here it will ruin your experience with the blandest worst experience ,instead ask the workers what they would recommend and you will be so happy you did. I am a plain cheese pizza lover myself but here I always order artichoke sausage feta and both types of olives on the margarita style pizza. I crave it now.
