Reviews of Lotus Restaurant
Henry Zhang
Been there two or three times, the taste is great and the price is cheap. Pho is rich in materials and large in quantity. Spring rolls are delicious with sweet and spicy sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the special fried chicken wings. I personally like to try a few different dishes, so I order more. Thai milk tea has a unique taste and is recommended to try.

A hidden gem! Or at least, hidden from me because I only just discovered it.
The food is awesome and only upstaged by the amazing service.
We got the Singapore noodles with tofu and the Pad Thai with chicken. Both were really really good. The guy was very helpful with suggestions and spice levels. The service here was one of the friendliest of any place I've been to. Little kid wandered off the street and asked if he could have a cup of bubbles (bubble tea bubbles) and the guy gave him a small cup of bubbles for free. That was really cool to see that the kid was treated with respect and kindness. Service and food were very quick too.
It's a busy place with limited parking. There are street parking depending on time of day.
I'll definitely be back.

Really good service and great food. The spring rolls were served cold like a salad and not like I was expecting but super good. The Pad Thai was good but the garlic dish was amazing. Would visit again soon.

Hangover food approved! If you want a lot of pho then get the large. One of the larger bowls of pho I've found throughout Minneapolis and it's only 11 dollars. Good tasting broth, not overly fatty with cut chives and cilantro. I couldn't taste the cilantro which can be over powering. Their egg rolls are crispy and average in size. Wantons are the same but sweet, I believe they sprinkle a little sugar on them. Spring rolls are also pretty typical to what I've seen from other restaurants. Service was good. Only real complaint is their parking situation.
Zach Kirk
Excellent Bun Bo Hue and Egg Rolls.
The Kung Pao Chicken and Imperial Chicken were very average - nothing special.
The Fresh Spring Rolls, while big, have a bit of an odd taste to them. They almost smelled/tasted like they had pumpkin in them. I believe this was due to however they pickled one of the vegetables inside. Not my favorite, l'll be honest.
Chris Valenty
One of the best spots for Phở in Minneapolis! The House Phở has a really big portion and great flavor! Also try the Lotus wings, so delicious!

Food is good. However, ambience is bad. Small, crowded place. First time the fork they gave my husband, there was still food on it 🤢 not going back again. …
Rae Noling
Food was pretty good, service was excellent. Limited seating. Overall pretty nice.

I love the Kung Pao with mock duck. It was my first time trying mock duck and it was sooooooo good. It beats the heck out of tofu. Really nice staff, too. They don’t serve alcohol, but you can go to the package store next door and roll your own. I will definitely be back.
Kelsey Weitzel
Great environment, my pho was the closest I have had to my favorite pho place since it closed.
I wasn't a fan of the pork egg rolls but I blame my taste buds and look forward to going back and tryingthr Cream Cheese Wontons
Rodrigo Rojas
Amazing pho choices and taste. Perfect place to go for a cold/rainy day. The food overall was great and the service was up to par as well. Recommend if you come to Minesotta. 10/10

Came here for a birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. We ordered 6 different items of their menu and it was all absolutely delicious. The staff and owner were super friendly. A great little restaurant to try! Will definitely be back here.

WOW! What can I say about this yummy restaurant. The food is always so fresh, so incredibly delicious and good portions. Real, Real Vietnamese Food! I LOVE this place. I probably have gone here for about 13 years now and to this day, I have never had one complaint about the food, the service, the atmosphere, the prices, the portions.... Never, not even one time. The owners and staff are so incredibly nice and happy to see you, even if you're not dining in, but taking out. They are all smiling, even when it's busy and hectic, so very welcoming. If you haven't been here, please go check The Lotus Restaurant out. I'd honestly drive 50 miles one way, just to eat their food. And I actually have when I used to live 45 miles NW of Minneapolis. I did come here whenever I was in Minneapolis. It was worth it and I'd do it again in a heart beat!!! There should be more than just 5 stars for rating, because this restaurant gets 20+ Stars rating from me. Thank you so much for always welcoming my friends and I or when it's just me. Like I said, if you haven't been here, please, please go! Everything I've tried and it's been alot, has always been so good. Thank you again for still reopening x 2 after the unrest that we saw in 2020. Take Care and I will most definitely be back soon. See you soon. ~ Scott 😁

I love the food here, always great! But i tried calling in my order ahead of time and no one would answer the phone. I called 4 times on my way in and no answer, i walk in to the restaurant and staff was just standing around! I asked if their phone line was working and the waitress completely ignored the question, no apology nothing. I love this place, the foods good and it’s convenient, but this definitely sucked being i was trying to avoid waiting inside.
Emanuelle van der Wegen
This place is AWESOME! The people are so sweet and helpful and the food tastes great! I ordered take out and while I waited the owner gave me a small Pho just for the wait. I would definitely recommend going here.
Leia Huddleston
The Pad Thai with the grilled pork absolutely exceeded my expectations! The Passion Fruit Limeade was just delicious!
Natalie Jo Baker
Love the pho 🍜 at the lotus, blessed place to get nourishing foods, thank You 🙏🏼 …
PG P
No frills place. Just good food. Ordered the bun bo hue and it was delicious. Others have posted the dish picture. It's the one with dark broth. The bowl is large and you don't need to order anything else! Will return soon

First time stopping in. The employees were so kind and the customer service was the best. The breaded wings we nice and crispy on the outside and juicy when biting into them. The cheese wontons had a good amount of cheese in them and the wonton wrapper wasn't overly tough nor greasy. The egg rolls were big - not thick and fat, but long. Overall, great food and even better customer service. I'll definitely be back!
Fong Vang
Great customer service. Food was really good and really fresh! The pho broth had a very fresh and clean taste prior to adding condiments. It wasn't diluted. It was a slow Sunday so food got pushed out quick, despite this being my first time here. I could see parking being a problem on busier days although it wasn't an issue with me. Bought quite a few other things besides the 3 dishes posted totaling up to $60. Tipped $20 on top of that for good service. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Bob H
I was shocked at how good this food was. I wished I lived nearby so I could come here often. Not only was the food amazing but the service was next level. Don’t let the strip mall style place dissuade you from having an amazing meal. The place was amazingly clean, warm and enjoyable. I’ll eat here next time I’m downtown.
Stephen Himmerich
One of my favorite spots for Pho in the area. Their broth is always rich and flavorful with each of their dishes being a filing option that is perfect anytime but really hits the spot when it starts getting colder.
They have limited parking and seating so it’s best to plan for that if you are eating in.
Angela Butke
Awesome pho. Extremely affordable prices, especially for the large portions. Quite busy during lunch, so get there early, order ahead, or be prepared to wait about twenty minutes. Highly recommend.
Bethany Cardinal
First time eating here and everything was delicious! We got an order of pork eggrolls and an order of veggie ones, Chicken Singapore Noodles, & Traditional BBQ Pork Bahn Mi. Would highly recommend all of those. Staff was very friendly and efficient and were taking cleaning/safety precautions seriously. Parking is limited so best to plan on parking on the nearby streets. Will def be back in the future!
renee kessel
Great food great service. A little slow sometimes even when it’s not busy. Food is always Hot and fresh. It’s all so good I have a hard time choosing!
Jessie Miller
This place is amazing!! The wait staff are incredible and I came in to order to-go after coming from the dentist, while waiting for my food..Yu, You? Came out with soup for me and pieces chopped smaller for ease (dentist made my mouth super numb)! I thought it was the kindest gesture and it did not go unappreciated!! Thank you again!! Highly recommend for taste of food too haha!
Kassidy Lithgow
We really like this place. We try to come every time we are in town for a Vikings game. The pho is pretty amazing.
This last experience was pretty subpar though. Service was really not great. Our server was nice but very inattentive. We had to grab him when we wanted to order, when we needed more drinks, when the order came out wrong, when we wanted to pay, etc.
Vietnamese noodle salad (which I thought would be a vermicelli salad) was not great. Almost no flavor. The egg rolls that come with it though are PERFECT and huge.
So it was just kind of a hit and miss visit for us. Overall, it’s a nice place for some classic pho!
Bee Lit
One of thee best pho soups I've ever had. Very healing and healthy. I was feeling very sick one day. The manager was very caring and sweet. They can have my business any day. This place is always busy but they seem to handle it just fine. Try the lotus wings, the spicy beef pho soup and those egg rolls. Muy Delicioso!
Bunker
Stopped into Lotus for our 1st visit and we were not disappointed! Fabulous Vietnamese and great service during a busy time. We had Ban Mih sandwiches and they were delicious! We will return when in the area👌😁
Sheri Crane
The staff were amazing tonight. It was craz busy, their system was not working properly but they still took great care of everyone who walked in the door. and the food was fabulous. Thanks for the great experience!
Evan Carlson
Had to give 3/5 stars for atmosphere because parking here can be really sketchy (at the Loring park location). Otherwise 5/5 all day. The food has been excellent and consistent over the 10+ years I've been a customer.
Sam
Delicious, show stopping, incredible. Love this place every time I go.
Supun B Attanayake
The chicken and prawn fried rice that was provided did not pack the flavor and a good amount of meat. The staff members were confused with some of the orders and served one of the customers a chicken and prawn dish instead of chicken only. The servers are inexperienced. The place is ok.
Meghan Wanovich
The best Vietnamese food hands down ever. I love this restaurant so much. Nothing on the menu is bad but I am privy to the cream cheese wontons, pork eggrolls, pad Thai, and pho. Their general tsaos is also a very good choice. Their lunch special is amazing as well because you can get an entree, rice, and a portion of an appetizer.
Kevin Lee
I leave MSP with 2 for 2 disappointing Asian meals. Having grown up in DC metro area, I am used to a higher quality Asian food. Their lemongrass pork rice dish was disappointing as lotus uses cheap pork, which I could tell by how tough it was to chew it. There are also many exclusions on their weekday lunch special: no pho or authentic Vietnamese dishes. Hello, lotus is a Viet restaurant so why do they even bother creating weekday special menu when it only includes pan-asian food items? It was quite an expensive lunch at a Viet restaurant: $31.64 plus tips.Their shrimp spring rolls were a-ok - had a funny taste to them.

This is the tru definition of a wholesome place with genuine people and amazing food...Today I was able to taste something that was sooooooooo good my heart was instantly in love ( you )I know that's not how you really spell his name but that's how it's pronounced he was a great host and his lovely mom is the best she raised an amazing child and me and my husband were glad we met you today and we thank you
Victor Cole
The best!!! Love everything and everyone there. Phò-nominal!!!

The reviews were so high for this restaurant so I wanted to give it a try. I was slightly worried when I arrived and saw that there were typical, what I call, "neighborhood Chinese food" dishes on there (general tso type entrees?). I said to myself, "Oh dear how can they serve authentic Vietnamese as well?".
I decided to definitely stick to the classic Vietnamese dishes rather than trying something else. I saw that their lunch special ($10.50) offered a list of entrees, a choice of side, and choice of rice, noodles, or steamed veggies.
I decided to go with a beef pho, a side of their Vietnamese egg roll (served with fish sauce), and a side of steamed veggies. The pho soup was definitely redeeming to their menu item varieties. The soup was hot and savory and tiny bit sweet which are all good qualities in pho broth. The beef was not my favorite cut. It was a bit thick so a little tough but not bad at all. The accompaniments were right; it included bean sprouts, jalapenos, Thai basil, and lime.
The sides came quite a bit after the pho arrived (which was fine by me but maybe not for others?). The veggie portion was pretty generous and included a mix of cabbage, broccoli, snow peas, and other things. I appreciated this option as a side rather than an additional carb just so I could feel like my meal was a bit more balanced.
The Vietnamese egg roll was much larger than I was accustomed to seeing (not complaining at all since the lunch entree only came with one, I just expected it to be smaller). I personally love Vietnamese egg rolls and this one came super hot and crispy. The fish sauce was a little more mild than I'm used to (maybe toned down for locals?) but still good. There was a woman behind the counter that looked like she was running the show who looked and sounded Vietnamese and it reassured me that the cuisine was being made by someone of a Vietnamese background. I'm not saying this HAS to be in all cases, however, for me, it's nice to know.
Payment is quick and easy at their register. They offer phone payment method which I loved. It was a quick in and out for a lunch hour. Surprisingly a good experience.

We're staying in at the Hyatt Regency and got hungry. We were looking for some food. Thought we'd try the market place in the hotel or the restaurant. But NOPE not paying $18 for a salad! We looked around and found Lotus just a block and a half away!!! It was a must because you can never go wrong with an Asian restaurant that have over 600 google reviews at 4.5 stars!!!! Walked in and was greeted with a nice smile! Got out menus and sat down. Ordered and got our food fast! Sad thing was they were out of Banh Mi sandwiches! But oh well. The food we ordered was amazing! Oyster chicken wings were probably the best wings I've had, wontons were super thick and crispy, eggrolls were okay, phó was delicious, bbq pork fries rice was also delicious!!!! Great customer service also!!!! Only issue was the taro bubble yea. Didnt taste like the usual. Was very creamy and tasted like it was watered down. It also came at the end of our meal. Grade letter A. Must eat if you're in the area!!! Will be going there again when I'm in the area!!!!
Gabriela Seidel
If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would!!! WOW. The egg rolls were so crunchy, and the filling was perfectly seasoned. We will absolutely be back, and soon!!
Devin S.E.
The food was great. I’ve never had Pad Thai like what they served. Also the oyster wings were really good. Everything came at a reasonable time.
I do have to be honest about the parking though: not the best. I couldn’t leave right away because someone had to park behind me, so I ended up stuck in the parking lot. Thankfully it was way to find the person so they could move for. The restaurant Diane have a lot of space so it’s understandable, but still not the best.
Overall experience was good though, and I would recommend to try it out.
Le Nguyen
Really great service. Servers were very friendly and attentive. I had the pad thai with chicken and it was really delicious! Also very reasonably priced.
Matthew Jensen
The food is great! Very tasty for everyone. They can do spicy or mild and everything was very tasty. Parking is a bit of a pain but the food is worth the effort.
Emily H
um, wow. really, wow. Go here, now. okay, tomorrow would be fine but definitely check this one out soon!
Had been meaning to check this one out for Pho for FOREVER and finally got there with a group of friends!
We did some family sharing here was the result:
Chicken Pho - ABSOLUTELY MUST GET
Beef Pho - ABSOLUTELY MUST GET
Banh Mi Sandwich - I've had better.
Pineapple Stir Fry - FANTASTIC!
It was packed - but we get in and got seated in under 20 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!
Maddie L.
The food was amazing! And the service was excellent, the people were so kind and even offered us some free food😭 The only thing is, when we went to pay for the food we found out there was like a $20 tax for food service which was suprising but that's pretty much it! You should definitely try this restaurant!
Allison Milnes
Above excellent service and food!! We would DEFINITELY go back if we lived nearby. I would give more than 5 stars if possible.
michael epperson
Looking for fresh, delicious, and generous portions? Lotus has it all. Add to it friendly and fast service and what you get is Lotus. Can't miss the proud family portrait on wall.
Charlie L
Food presentation was great, service was quick, but the flavors were pretty bland (got the Com Tam). Grew up around a lot of authentic Vietnamese food and this place is pretty mediocre in comparison. Also, the logistics behind paying/ordering when you’re done eating is a complete zoo.
Judy
Great place to go when you're short on time. We had their rolls and Imperial Chicken with white rice. Quick. Delicious and super friendly.
I would be aware of their parking lot being shared among at least 4 businesses. Definitely want to come back for a 2nd try.
Daniela de Gracia
I usually order pho with beef/bbq pork or the com tam with grilled pork here. Delicious, the large pho with meat for $15 (with added 20% tip, it is $11 pretax) is a good price for the amount of broth and noodles you’ll be given. I only ate 1/3 of the pho and was stuffed so I had it taken out, and the waitstaff was very friendly.
Dr. Michael J. Pritchard
Wow, the food is amazing! Pho is great, but I also recommend that you wander off the main parts of the menu and explore it a bit...a lot of great options at this place!
Gaurangna Madan
Always love Lotus for their pho, bahn mi, salad...I could go on. Delicious fresh food that always hits the spot. Great for take out and dining in. Highly recommend their mock duck bahn mi, don't knock it till you try it!!
Joy Kell
Location: convenient to walk around and get too. Next to a hotel.
Service: very nice and attentive. Not too long of a wait.
Food: It was okay. Spicy food was not spicy at all, more like black pepper. Some veggies were too hard to eat, maybe different chef. The boba was on the hard side. Overall it was ok.
Maria Sommerhause
This was the best pho and wontons I've ever had! The broth is full of flavor. Staff is extremely friendly!
Alex Pellegrineschi
Nice little restaurant for a quick bite. The staff was very friendly and the food was OK. Prices are reasonable, and the service is quick.
Lisa St.George
Best egg rolls! Yellow Chicken Curry is great as well! Get it spicy!
Devontea Scott
Food was good but they didn't put my order in until everyone at my table already finished their food
Lise Hedstrom
We had a late lunch at Lotus recently. It was well worth the five-minute wait. My husband ordered spring rolls and mango bubble tea to share and garlic sauce with tofu and relished that. The spring rolls were crunchy fresh and delicious with the peanut sauce. The mango tea was interesting with black bubbles. I ate half of my large order of savory beef fried rice and took the other half to the hotel to refrigerate. A table of grad students were traveling and so left half their orders, a crime.
Christina Stanley
The food was wonderful and the service was extraordinary!
The restaurant is beautiful and the seating is comfortable.
Iden Djavani-Tabrizi
I ordered the lunch special with Imperial chicken, fried rice, and spring roll. The spring roll was fresh and tasty, the fried rice and chicken were good too and the portion size was pretty big. This is a good choice for lunch, especially if you’re at an event at the Minneapolis Convention Center, as it’s only a short walk away.
Olivia 73captain73
My friend Sarah raved about this place, so I had to try it... She was absolutely right!!! The egg rolls are HUGE, & worth the price for sure!!! I had a spicy yellow chicken curry, that had a delightful afterburn; Sarah had yummy lo mein & cream cheese wontons. A slight bit expensive, but U get what U pay for!!! Nummy food, & the counter person was very cordial as well!!! GO!!! ENJOY!!!
Maharshi Dey
The restaurant was a small eatery. Well maintained and good customer service. However, I tried Singapore noodles and that wasn't very good. Needed more salt and was not spicy even though it was marked on the menu as spicy. I wish the broccoli was a little more chopped, rather than the huge pieces.
Some Siracha sauce made the dish taste better. Had Singapore noodles for the first time so it could be something with the recipe rather than the restaurant.
Lena M
Great spot with some gluten free options! Potatoes with oyster sauce are a must order!
Peter Reeser
Great staff and very good food. Will eat there every time I’m in MN!
Jon Smith
Don't arrive early and mistakenly wander in to unlocked restaurant before open. Not friendly. If wasn't meeting a friend on his way there, I'd have left.
Tom B
The food was okay but very different from what you would expect from authentic Vietnamese food. This seems more of a fusion with Thai food. Grilled pork has flavor but it's not glazed and seared as traditional Vietnamese. The curry is more like a satay rather than a curry but looked very presentable. Spring rolls were a bit loosely wrapped so it kind of fell apart when you ate it. Overall, for the area and demographics, the food was decent. The spice level could be heightened a bit and the sauces may be bland to the native tongue but very nice place if you're craving a variety of food.
Nyabang Diang
The food was great and the staff was amazing. Definitely would recommend.
Kevin Fisher
This is a hidden gem of the area! Pictured is the House Pho. What you can’t see is the extremely generous portions of beef, chicken, and seafood in this dish. That plus the deep, complex flavors make this something I will be back for the next time I am in town. Not sure where to eat tonight? This is the place you are looking for!!!
dennis dennis
I went here for lunch based on the Yelp suggestion and was very satisfied with the whole experience. The food was awesome, I had the House Pho along with the fresh spring roll (try the Muck Duck meat). The staff was also very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Lina Lin
Really amazing place. The food was delicious and the lavatory was really clean. Wouldn't always expect from some restaurants. They have some really good vegan options as well.
elisha skluzacek
Absolutely delicious. Service was so kind:) Highly Recommend!
Corin Gonzalez
This place is awesome! My husband loves Vietnamese food and I love Thai food! So it’s awesome you don’t have to compromise. Lots of meat given in the noodle dishes. Please open a shop in Rochester I’m dying for some decent Pad Thai!!!!
Matthew Lerch
Suuuuper good Pho! I had mock duck Pho and all the flavors were phenomenal! 10/10
Dustin Jones
Place gets busy during lunch. Went there with 6 people, Had the pad Thai, some appetizers, and was really impressed. All my friends liked their food also. Will be back.
Nick Lewis
Excellent food and the service was top notch. The son of the owner was our server and he was top notch. Very attentive and even gave us some soup on the house as he suspected our young daughter would like it (she did!). Will definitely come back and support a great local business.
Dre Atchison
Great service and great food
It was a little cramped and it was kind of close to closing but they still got us covered and got plates in front of us in 20 minutes
Gregory Merchel
Prefect for delivery! The imperial chicken was fabulous, highly recommend it if you like ginger. Stir fry noodles were good too but we loved the imperial chicken.
Amanda Jahanvash
Great food Great value
I love Lotus Restaurant. I am always greeted with a smile by a friend.
All of the dishes are delicious, full of flavor and character.
As a vegan with non vegan family members I am very happy to find a place that we all can find food we enjoy.
My favorites are Lo mein with mock duck and vegetable fried rice add tofu. My husband's favorite is the Singapore noodles and my son likes the Pad Thai.
If you like Thai and Vietnamese food - or you have never tried it - you will love every item on the menu!
Matthew Edgar
So I was in love with their House Pho, I’ve ranked it as #3 out of about 20 places I’ve tried in the greater twin cities. But last time I had their Bun Bo Hue, amazing flavor, even better price point. Their large is a challenge to finish solo.
Parking is a challenge over there but worth it for the food
Ms. Byers
The Lotus Wings Yummy! They have my 3 Fav's. Pho, Boba Tea and Rice noodles
Rory Tarrats
Damn good Vietnamese food at very affordable prices. We loved the pho and the chicken wings were a work of art. Not super fond of the dumplings appetizer, but did really enjoy the sampler app.
Rewati Teeparti
Cheap tasty and efficient
In this day of inflation who won’t like this! The food was very very good and service was super fast!
cathi nelson
Did grubhub run so I can't opine on the restaurant itself, but the food I enjoyed was awesome! Had the seafood pho, great amount of veggie and seafood. Get the large as there is enough for either 2 people or 2 meals which ever you fancy. Also had the mango bubble tea and the steamed potstickers. This is no reflection on the restaurant, the steamed I myself didn't like. They were good, just next time I will try them fried.
Prices quite reasonable. will try them again!
Amy M
I've been going to The Lotus for at least 15 years and it's good every time! This is the BEST quick Asian takeout in the cities, if you ask me. It's a little pricier than your average Asian takeout but not really by that much and the food is definitely worth it. My favorites are the pork eggrolls and the stir fried rice noodles but I don't think I've ever gotten anything I didn't like so it's kinda hard to say.
Nicole Pizzolato
Good quick lunch. The timing of the appetizer was a bit off but food was good.
Jackie Anderson
Amazing. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. This might be my new favorite place for pho. Get the house pho- no extra seasoning needed.
The owner visited our table a few times and let us try the beef bone broth, and it was phenomenal.
Don't be deterred by the location, haha.
Reny Hardy
I've been there before got something I haven't had before it was excellent. Already had again at there other location.
Sam Rose
this is one of my favorite establishments of all time. i have never had a less than excellent meal here. service is prompt and polite, very well organized even when they're stacked with to-go orders. absolutely love the vegetable pho and tofu fried rice in particular. super reasonable prices, convenient location. what an amazing place!
Erik Suspends
Small little cozy spot with great food and service.
Charles Hexter
This place is a must visit. Its really good food in a simple little place. Nothing more than what is needed smashing vietnamese food, in a clean nice place with good staff
Rade Flatter
Don't be fooled by the small bowl. A lot of other pho places give you a gigantatron bowl with liters of broth but nothing to chew on. In my opinion, this place has a solid broth to bite ratio.
Super fast service and really good pho. I am pretty sure the beef is pre-cooked and not dropped in raw like some other places (if you're into that).
TLDR: you have found a phoking good place :)
Nian Liu
Good price. Food is just okay. Not the best pho I had in town. egg rolls also doesn't taste fresh.
Parker Alton
Went here for the first time and I love it! A simple menu that is full of options. Parking is a little tight here, so you may want to park on the street instead of the lot.
John Eldridge
Absolutely FANTASTIC! I got spring rolls with grilled pork (no shrimp) and beef pho. Wonderful broth very tasty.
Melanie Blazar
Pretty good food. Cheap prices. Not the biggest fan of pho, so I’m a bit biased.
M. Faraz Samavat
The food is nice and the portions are substantial.
Try the pho.
Hadi
One of the best pho in town. Beefy, sweet and fragrant! Although I find the broth a tad too sweet, it is still very good. Also, I foolishly ordered large house pho, thinking i could finished it. Learn from my mistake
Madison Ned Butler
Great portions and really nice staff. A server there recommended I try the stew pho and they were right -- I absolutely loved it. Lunch plates, soups, noodles have all be delicious.
Zev Diaz
Food in amazing, and the best customer service I ever seen in USA!!!!
Sergey Isayenko
Small place, nothing fancy but great, very affordable food and service! Be ready to see and deal with some homeless people on the way there as the restaurant is located in a shady area.
Bradley Dybing
Had lunch yesterday and everything was top notch! Yoom was great at recommending the items to try. We ate the Wings, spring rolls, wontons, and Pho. Truthfully couldn’t believe how good everything was! Best Pho ever!
Rainbow
I've been eating at Lotus To Go Go since 1994 and it's great food and great service!!
Ted Weidenbach
Hands down the best Pho I've ever had. This place is an absolute gem! If you eat in you'll need to realize it is a bit more of a "hole in the wall" place but the food and staff are absolutely fantastic. We've been getting take out from Lotus during Covid-19 and it travels well and makes me miss working downtown even more. Their lunch special is one of my favorite meals to eat. Get the Pho you won't regret it.
Rochelle Hurd
Outstanding service and great food! 👍👍 Our daughter is gluten free and they were more than accommodating to her. Large portions too! Would definitely recommend and will return! Thank you Lotus! 😁 …
Annabel Allen
One of my favorite places for takeout - best egg rolls in the city (love the rice noodles in them), and great pad Thai (try the mock duck)
Patricia Williams
Good place to visit when you look for vegan options.

Great place park during GAy pride only I kno bc had a spouse rep so I showed support

Good food...local...order can get messed up at the oddest times

This place is so busy but they still have good service and food
Jessica T. Matthews
I gave this restaurant 3 stars b/c of the service. If I could rate the service & food separately I would. We ate here b/c there were alot of recent positive reviews. The staff was friendly & courteous. Would actually give them 5 stars for service. However, I didn't like the food. Ordered the lunch special sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice. Had to pay extra for shrimp fried rice & to add egg. No problem. However, the rice was gummy with hard pieces of rice throughout it and the egg was very wet. YES, both hard & gummy. Didn't taste like shrimp fried rice @ all. The pork & vegetable egg rolls were okay. Other members in our party of 9 food was hit or miss. One of my relatives said the lo-mein noodles were good.
Also, one of the ladies spilled water on my mom while refilling her cup & it was my mom's bday! We didn't make a big deal about it & just laughed it off & told her that was her bday gift. She just laughed.

I ordered the com tam as a recommendation and I was not disappointed.
Alex Milnes
All around outstanding. Some of the best food I have ever eaten, plus awesome service. We happened to walk behind it and it smelled delicious, so we went in and it was great. The waiter even gave us extra food.
Dou Her
I dine here almost weekly for lunch because it's convenient for work. Limited parking, but they allow customers to park behind each other. Always fast service. The bun bo hue is usually my go to, but their pho, spring rolls and rice platters are good too.
Tracy Bagley
I love their food. Everything on the menu is delicious. I really really like their pho.
The only issue that has happened to us several times is they tell you the food will be ready in 20 minutes. It's usually at least 40 minutes and that's not the safest area to wait around for your food to be ready.
Yvette Turner
We got food to go but it was delicious.
Peter Chanthanakone (Director)
Excellent banhmi and good portion rice dishes. Parking is difficult however

We landed at this place after freezing in the Minnesota winter for our engagement photo shoot. The cream cheese wontons were such a delightful start. The pho to follow was one of the best I ever had- the spices were just perfect! But what won our heart the most was the hospitality - the place is run by two brothers and they have another branch in Maple Grove. They are the warmest people and we were given complimentary banana wontons for the dessert. I was so full but the delicious wontons were gone in no time. This should be a must visit for anyone who loves Vietnamese food or for that matter just good food!

Veggie fried rice is tasty!
Allyson Goelz
Love the food! The owner and staff are seriously customer centric and make me want to spend my money there. One time in particular a few years back when my son was around 5 or 6, he said "Mom, there's no fortune cookies out this time" and was a bit sad but got over it instantly, no big deal, it's a cookie, right? Our food was ready in a bag for pick up a couple minutes later, and the owner came out and handed me the food, and my elated son an entire bag of fortune cookies. He loves and appreciates how special those gestures are, and still talks about how special that made him feel. Love this Minneapolis restaurant!
Jeff Burger
Everything I have had so far has been great. The pork egg rolls are the best egg rolls I have ever had. This is a tiny restaurant but a need to try! Eat in or take out. Don't pass this one up.
Star Rae
Amazing Food, specifically the Pho! Staff is wonderful as well, Paulina my server today was very attentive & met all my requests cheerfully. The vibes and positive energy are unmatched. Super clean and such a cute space.
I highly recommend this place!
Emma Kay
The owners are the most adorable people. The food is awesome. By far one of the best beef fried rice I had in the city. They used real beef, not the shaved bland thing other restaurant uses. Right price, great flavors and service. That's the way to go!
Dollerina B
I must say I am rather bummed. We ordered from The Lotus tonight and it was not at all as I had remembered it to be. The fried rice was fairly decent and the sesame chicken was good but the Pho was bland and the spring rolls which were supposed to have shrimp in them only had a tiny sliver and were mainly flavorless lettuce wrapped in rice paper. I was really looking forward to the Pho and spring rolls hence the bummer. : (
PAISLEY PRINCESS
used to eat at Lotus when I was a student at MCTC, and when I was dating my ex, as he lived nearby. This was in the 90s, good times…I digress. Ordered some food from here through Door Dash, and it was still quite good! That’s a surprise, considering it’s been such a mainstay that it either stays the same or goes downhill. I had the Beijing Chicken, egg rolls, and wontons. The only issue I have is the price! 7 bucks for egg rolls and wontons, plus the dinner will run you thirty bucks. It’s good, but not THAT good to justify those prices
Kit “Kit Houng” Houngnakhone
Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Com Ga which is my go to every time. Definitely tastes like a home cooked meal. Great service, even better food. There's a reason this place has been here so long.
Andrea Kyle
I have been to this restaurant twice now; once for lunch and once for dinner. Overall impressions are intimate feel, good portions, and great taste.
Ambiance: Diner like feel with no more than 30-40 seats. You can order at the counter or by server. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I had the misfortune of forgetting my retainers in a napkin after lunch and when I went back the guy behind the counter personally went through the garbage for me, found them, and rinsed them off. Ridiculously kind.
Food: Generous portions at reasonable prices. I would recommend the chicken fried rice but have seen a lot of people order their soups. They have a lunch special from 11-2 that's $9.95 that gets you an entree, appetizer, and rice.
If you're looking for good Vietnamese food that's quick and filling, you have to try Lotus Restaurant!
heidi schneider
The hostess was more than rude several times with us. We asked questions about available tables and she would walk away. Then she gave tables to people who showed up after us. Our server was great but she unfortunately set the mood for our experience.
Tiffany Zmuda
The food is ALWAYS delicious. Dine in, deliver, take out it always tastes good. Service was fabulous. Will definitely eat there again, and again 😀
Harry Edstrom
Have had house pho and pho stew take out from Lotus. Great broth flavor, and about as good as takeout pho can get. Meat was tender, not over cooked or tough. Ample amount of toppings/garnishes served on the side.
Only qualm is that potatoes and carrots were not included in my stew pho as the menu represented. That was a bummer. Hopefully next time they will include the carrots and potatoes in the stew pho. I love potatoes.
Preston Coburn
You have to get creative to find a parking spot here but it's almost a part of the charm. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The spring rolls were decent but I've had better.
The portion size seemed just about right if you were really hungry. If not then you'll definitely have some leftovers for later.
Ayobami Jikiemi
Awesome food, great portions. a meal.is.about $15
Dion Biggin
The staff was just overall just awesome!! They nailed customer service, even when we went to get food 30 mins before closing!! I got the pork lo mein and my girl got the pork fried rice. Thee best we had in the CITY of MPLS!! Great favors and bold taste to the taste buds!! Much Love Lotus!!
Lambert Lum
This place is nostalgic for me as we would go there for lunch when going to the local community college in the area. When I returned there about a decade later, the place still felt the same but the quality of food wasn't what I remembered. The menu had shrunk since we last went as well, but the food was still good. I did find a hair during the last two bites of my food (it happens). I had eaten pretty much all of it already, so I wasn't going to send it back or request a refund but thought I should at least mention it to the clerk when we paid. When I went to go to pay, the girl there my entire off the bill without even me asking. So I left the waitress a nice tip. Later when I got home, I found the hair from the restaurant again on my shirt when i got home. =)
Rumi Mohammad
Breaded and sesame wings were tasty and nicely priced. Mango bubble tea was sweet. Main dishes were so-so. Service was friendly but gets a bit slow because they're so busy. Quick walk from convention center. Goes through a bit of a sketchy area but lots of people around so it was alright.
Stefan Joles
I’m fortunate to live right down the street from Lotus. I try not to eat there every day. They have a delicious Banh Mi sandwich that I order along side my usual General Tso’s, and my Thai Bubble Tea! But, the single greatest thing on their menu is the House Pho! I had a cold a few weeks ago which this tremendous soup kicked to the curb...singlehandedly. I credit that Pho entirely for my recovery. Great food, great service, good value: 4 stars!
Claire Hypolite
My daughter and I love the pho here, but we always get take out. We braved the MN cold today to have lunch and ate here. No regrets. The service is good and the wait staff is kind and friendly. They even boxed up our leftovers for us. We'll definitely be back.
Lisa M
First went here a couple decades ago and was able to go back tonight. The food tastes the same which is a very good thing!
Kayla Merrill
This place has the best pho ever. For real, you will not be disappointed. Their egg rolls are probably some of the best I’ve had as well. Top notch. Service through Door Dash is always good, too.
J Dav
If you’ve never tried pho, highly recommend coming here! Amazing food and very kind staff! Felt very welcomed and taken care of! I’ll definitely be back!
Sabrina Mohamed
EXCELLENT PHO, GREAT CHILL RNB MUSIC, FRIENDLY WAITRESSES, UNBEATABLE PRICE. You want to try this place out you’ll fall in love like I did!
Paul Huynh
Our take-order was messed up during the dinner rush - I was too lazy to check the bag before leaving. I called and the owner offered to deliver the missing item! We told him that it wasn't necessary knowing how busy they were. He comped our order and sent a handwritten note and gift card in the mail. Amazing customer service and much appreciated.
Emily
Absolute best Pho in the twin cities! Also, if you download the Belly app (Free), they have a really cool rewards system. The only downfall is that we have had really long wait times, mostly on to go orders. They've given us a time for pickup and then on multiple occasions they haven't even started the order until we arrived for pick up. BUT the food is worth the wait.
Kevin Glover
Food is excellent. Service is great!
Naomi Thyden
We used to go here pretty often when we didn’t live in the area and now that we do we find ourselves at Lotus all the time - once it was three days in a row! We have never had a bad experience with food or service. Lots of great vegetarian food. I try not to dine in with a group larger than 4, although 6 is fine if it’s not during dinner or lunch rush. Take out is a speedy and popular option.
Stephen Graves
I come here often for the beef pho and either the pork fried dumplings or vegetable tempura. Always good!
Alexandria Charles
I ordered for pick up tonight and the two girls working absolutely made my night, after a long day at work and being sick/pregnant I cried in my car because they were so nice to me. The food is delicious too, I hope their kindness & work ethic is recognized especially during this rough time in the restaurant industry.
Matthew Przybylski
Been coming here for over a decade. Best Pho in the Twin Cities and the staff is always prompt, and friendly. Their lunch special is one of the better deals around. Recommend to anyone who wants the real deal Vietnamese.
May Journeys
This is honestly my favorite place for pho! The flavor is just perfect. The price is great. I think the restaurant is underrated and in my opinion is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area of Minneapolis. The staff is friendly. Parking can be a challenge at times but worth it.
Kim Kroetsch
Loved the rice noodle salad with eggrolls.
Steven Hartman
Lotus never disappoints when we have a Vietnamese craving. My wife gets the pho, by far her favorite in the area. And I'm always down for egg rolls, wontons or both! Egg rolls are perfectly crispy on the outside. Support our amazing local restaurants!
Aspen Paigge
Great food.
Friendly staff.
Favorites are egg rolls and chicken fried rice.
Thai tea and pho are decent also.
Inga Schierkolk
This is a place my family has to for years. The main draw for us is the pho which we often order to go, but sitting in the restaurant is a good experience as well because the service is very good. You really have to be prepared for hard to find parking though because the restaurant only has about 3-4 spots of its own.
Regina Hernandez
Excellent food and service!! The stew pho doesn't taste any different than a regular pho except the color is different. I also had the not beef broth and it was really good and the portion was perfect. Pad Thai had lots of veggies and some spice to it(we asked for the spiciest)
Lon Koenig
This is my local comfort food restaurant. The food is great. Most of the offerings you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant.
I particularly like the Bun No Hue.
It is quite small and there is often a wait at dinner time. It is a reasonable walk from the convention center, and close to the hotels, so can be very busy when a convention is in town. They have take-out and delivery via the usual services.
Closed on Sunday.
Jou Yaaj
My boyfriend and I decided to come and try this place out and the service was amazing! We tried some new soups that we never had and they actually turned out to be very good. The owner also gave us a free order of egg rolls which was a plus because we've never got that anywhere else!
Hnou
Great food and service. It's really tight inside the restaurant. Parking is also an issue in this area. However, I haven't been disappointed by their food yet. I've had their beef pho, vermicelli salad, and Pad Thai. All were delicious and a great value. Give them a try!
Lois Li
The food was great (we got the house pho, cream cheese wontons, and mango limeade) and portions are big too! We had two staff serving us and they were super kind. I’d definitely recommend. ◡̈
swishwet
Very good soup and nice employees!
E.A.W Tzipporah
Lotus is the best restaurant in Minneapolis...owned by the most wonderful family!!!
I'll never forget when my son was hospitalized a few years ago, Yoom had food sent up to me on more than one occasion(I had not ordered, he was just concerned I wouldn't get a good meal!!). Who does that anymore?!?! Yoom and his family represent what is beautiful about Minneapolis...and they make the BEST Vietnamese food ever!!!
Jasmine McCall
Took my son here for our weekly mommy and son Twos Date (our date night) and he loved it!! We will be adding Lotus to our list of hot spots!
Andrew Meggs
This is a little hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant next to a gas station, so you know it's legit! The settings are sparse and the restaurant is super bare bones, catering more to take out than dine in, but I still had a good time. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. No alcohol though.
Rob Norris-Weber
Our favorite Asian Cuisine. You have to get the egg rolls. Best curry in town. Family run business with heart. Never have had a bad meal.
Stacey Scherer
My favorite place for Vietnamese food. I've been going to this particular location for about 25 years now. They are always friendly. The service is amazing. And the owners and staff are great. I highly recommend.
Chasse Thomas
Fantastic staff and family with great energy that you can feel the moment you enter the restaurant. By far the best spring rolls in all of Minneapolis. I am now committed to being a regular at this place. Just phenomenal!!!
Blair Brown
I love Lotus, its definitely a minneapolis staple. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, through highschool, and still go as an adult. The prices are really good for downtown and they have the best cream cheese wontons ive had in the city. Its worth checking out for dine in or pickup!
Lunos Nocturne
Much smaller place than I expected, so seating will probably be a little scarce during busy hours, but the food was good and the prices pretty reasonable, in my opinion.
I also strangely like their cups. I don't know why. They're pretty standard plastic, but the design is just different enough from others to but be as boring? I don't know. Nice plastic drinking glasses is a strange thing to write but here we are. Why are you still reading this?
Zachary Lampinen
I just ordered carry out, the Garlic Sauce entree with chicken, spice level 5/5. Delicious! Staff is kind as well. Will definitely be back, especially since my brother lives at LPM.
Jason “Watch Your Fingers” Fields
Had the best Pho in the cities on my most recent visit. Unfortunately the consistency of that is not always reliable. I have never had bad Pho here, but on occasion, the broth is very bland. The project egg rolls are always on point. Lunch is always busy so plan accordingly.
David Williams
The food and service was outstanding. I would have given it 5 stars, but we were really afraid of some of the customers. And, I might add that we are seldom afraid of much. There was a table of young blacks who were cursing at a high volume, coming in and out of the restaurant an moving and making eye contact with the other customers in a menacing manner. When they left, they hung around outside and watched my wife and me thru the window. Also during our visit, a huge, run-down older white woman passed our table cursing and making strong eye contact. She didn't order food, just sat close by making aggressive eye contact while causally giving me the finger. We were afraid to leave. I think that everyone in the restaurant could feel the tension. Such good food, what a shame!
Bluestorm183
Delicious food here. The chicken fried rice was flavorful and the thai tea was refreshing. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants around!
Jonathan Young
Incomparable service, friendly staff, amazing food....these people know what they’re doing and make it easy to feel at home. I cannot recommend this place enough, they are a staple in the community. (Thanks for your help with the bikes :))
Pahchie Vang
Take Out Order:
Sesame Chicken
Green Curry Chicken
Chick Lo Mein
Pro:
The food tasted great and fresh
Rice to Protein ratio was perfect
The plastic bento container made it easy to eat without having to worrying about sauce seeping into the rice.
The entrees were enough for one person
The lo mien was enough for two people
Con:
Compared to other local Vietnamese restaurants, the price per quantity was a little high but not a deal breaker.
Chick curry had a little to much black pepper
Overall:
I enjoyed the freshness of the food of all things. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Zertihune Maru
Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. Not only is the food deeeeelicious but customer service was extraordinary. 5 stars if I can give it a 10 I would!!! Great job and I'm a hard critic 😏 …
Bobby Buckner
This Restaurant has some of the kindest people around. Great Food! Excellent Service! Had recently got into a car accident was down on my luck and without hesitation the owner only charged 10 dollars for the 3 meals we ordered. I know i will be returning. It is great that some places still know how to treat customers. I have been there several times before with similar experiences, they never drop the ball. Great Job and thank you for your AWSOME Customer Service!!!
Gary Hallberg
Great service, great food. Two of us, each had entree and split house fried rice, all three items were fantastic, leftovers are huge.
Zabet W (CC)
The Lotus is so amazing! The food is always perfect and generous! They have a very healthy menu with meat lovers and vegetarian options alike. They are Family owned and operated and they always make you feel welcomed. They love their customers and the customer service is the best! I've been coming here for many many years. It is my favorite. You've gotta try mock duck with sweet and hot peppers!!! Love and Peace CeCe
Keith Ford
Not a big fan of Asian food but Lotus' menu is so broad that I'm able to find something I enjoy. Meanwhile, my family which loves Asian food really like the Lotus. Haven't tried the big, new Uptown store but this little place on the edge of downtown is friendly, clean and reasonably priced. They do huge takeout and delivery service too.
Elli Hayes
This was the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. I couldn't have found a better place to warm up on a 20° day.
David
I live in Saint Paul now and miss this place so hard, best sesame chicken and the curry soup is amazing! Superb service all the time and consistent food quality. Prices are extremely reasonable. Can't recommend it enough. If you live downtown or Loring Park, Stevens Square etc. go to this place NOW!
Richard Newton
My colleague and I tried this place out based on Yelp reviews. It is a hole in the wall (no disrespect intended) that appears to be frequented by locals. The food is really good and it is a great value. My friend had the Shrimp with Black bean sauce and I had the Kung Pao shrimp, chicken and beef. A definite must try for casual dining.
Casey Ashman
This restaurant is literally the greatest establishment I have ever been to. The folks here are all beautiful, humorous, attentive angels. The food is delicious, and the staff know me & my two friends as regulars– they always give us an affectionate “hello” and know exactly what we want. This place is heaven in the middle of Minneapolis.
Huangwei Xie
They get very authentic Pho that tastes great. The food is quite cheap and this could be your regular launch/dinner option when you just don't want to cook. There aren't many choices with good and cheap food out there
Neil Hanson
Great food and wonderful service. Their fried rice and Pho is amazing! I am definitely coming back.
Noah Lucas
Excellent take out! This is one of my favorite take out restaurants downtown Minneapolis. Location can be difficult with parking but it's still worth the extra hassle. I recommend the sesame chicken, fried rice, and cream cheese wantons (always!)
Pearly White
I ordered through DoorDash for lunch at work and this is one of the best tasting chicken low mein dishes I've had. I would like to see them use Foodsby also. I'm happy I chose the Lotus Restaurant!
Shelbi Setchell
Love Lotus, been getting Pho from here for years, best Pho town. Shrimp spring rolls and veggie egg rolls are great sides. Small parking lot, however we all know you can double or triple park to pick up your to go order. Friendly staff, quick service.
Autumn Berry
This authentic Vietnamese has great food at decent prices and a friendly staff. Their bahn mi sandwiches are my favorite. The bread is always crisp to perfection, a great mayo blend inside, and filled with fresh veggies and cilantro. Always fresh, seasoned well, and delicious. Come here if you’re in the Minneapolis area. You won’t regret.
Megan Mahony
They have the best phô in the city! Love the spring rolls. Everything is always so fresh. I also like that it is family owned, gives it some real warmth because of their service and food of course.
Matt Rick
I haven't been to the Lotus Restaurant in a long time and was worried it might not have made it through the pandemic, but I'm happy to report the food was every bit as good as I remembered it being. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!
Donnie Springfield
Tasty pho, possibly the best in the Twin Cities. The appetizers are pretty good. Try the oyster wings. The handmade dumplings are okay, but dumpling snobs may turn their nose up at them.
No alcohol served here. They do offer takeout and there is a liquor store just steps away if want to enjoy noodles and beer at home.
L Simmons
Nice fresh tasting pho and veggies and generous spring rolls. If you like fresh veggies for sure come here! Service was excellent and also fast! Yay!
Morgan Anderson
Great food, reasonable price, large portions, Friendly staff. I went here once and since then have been coming back to this place. It's near my college so I decided to go there today and realised it is *amazing*. They give you enough to feed 2 people easily for 9 bucks on beef dishes and their fried rice is very large. Granted, it is somewhat generic but this isn't a place you go to for the most original asian food. This is the place you walk to for a lunch with your boyfriend with a friendly wait staff and decent menu.
Nicholas Martin
Excellent Pho in a clear broth and fresh spring rolls with several dipping options. Consistent quality, but check your order; I have received different meals than what I ordered for both delivery and take out.
Morgan Roddy
Amazing pork egg rolls! Excellent dishes including com ga and potatoes in oyster sauce! The pho is quite good as well. The bubble tea is a nice treat to end the meals with as well. The staff are so friendly and warm, it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Twin Cities hands down!
Teri L
I have been very hard pressed to find decent pho anywhere in Minneapolis. I've tried at least 10 different places. This is the only place that I have found that has good pho. I come here often, and they've been here for years!
Geary Morris
Fantastic!! Their spring rolls are excellent. We had the Pho and it was wonderful on a cold snowy day. This is an out of the way locals place. Seek it out. It's totally worth it.
Mai Hue Her
Parking is really bad, there is only 3 to 4 parking slots in the front. Parking on the ramp cost us $15 because of the long wait inside the restaurant, the wait was about 40min to get our food. When our appetizers came, the server asked us if we needed small plates in which we did agree. Couple minutes in, she was already serving other ppl. Then she came back, asking if our appetizers were alright, and I said it's good but we're still waiting on our small plates. A small house pho cost $9 and big cost $11. My bf and I bought, small and large pho, their big appetizer plate with spring rolls, and PLUS parking = $65. Food was very good but I don't think i'll go back. Unless im desperate and live close by.
Zoe Moonie
Recently had a DISAPPOINTING experience...
We love Lotus would always go get Sesame Chicken and Pho soup and I think everyone would agree they always give you a nice large helping of their chicken entrees. This last experience I kid you all not we got a tiny portion of Chicken it was barely covering the bottom of our plate, we were so confused... We confronted the waitress asking if they had started making their portion sizes smaller and that we eat there at least once a month. The waitress just laughed and said it all depends on who's cooking.
My advice is to go to Pings for your chicken/entrees they give you your money's worth...... Really sad we loved Lotus :(
Ethan Sommer
This place is pretty good. We got pho, dumplings, egg rolls, and oyster wings. Out of those, I would recommend against the dumplings. It was too much food anyway. The pho was good but I wish it had more flavor.
Tom Gatermann
While on a trip my wife and I stopped by here as it was close to our hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the food was great. I got the salted pepper shrimp and my wife had the pho. Both were delicious.
Leo Sandoval
I came in with my buddy Charles wanting a good meal. This place was fantastic! The Pho was delicious the spring rolls we amazing! Best place in town the prices are fair and the service top notch!
Karl Kirkwood
Excellent. Quick service even though they were busy. Fantastic Banh mi.
Sub-Zero Hunter
Very tasty food. I had the fresh spring rolls and the spicy pho. Both tasted very authentic. I did add some extra spicy oil to give the soup some more spice and flavor
burninbanks68
Not the best pho I have ever had, but all pho places can have an off day. I will definitely try it again. However, their apps were good, and the banana wontons were delicious!!! Friendly staff. A bit small so you may have to wait during busy hours.
Watching the goings on in the parking lot can be pretty entertaining and also gave me a bit of anxiety (it's very busy and cars will park behind other cars. This thankfully didn't happen to us however)
Nelson Daley
Food is very good.
Seating is very limited.
Parking is horrible.
We enjoyed everything we ordered. The green curry was different than what I am used to, but was still good.
Staff was friendly and acvomodating.
Seating is cramped in a very small and crowded space.
Derek Price
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the entire city. They have great pho, pad thai, and fried rice, and their prices are super reasonable. They have seating for about 30 inside, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if you go on a weekend for dinner.
Matthew Carlson
Delicious food, everything I've had there. They know what they are doing and wait staff is friendly and professional. I only wish there could never be a wait! But they are so popular and good, it's no surprise that sometimes the wait is aittle long (But worth it). The only thing I can think of they could try to improve is parking but I know that's difficult
Luis Puente
Excellent food, real authentic taste because the food is prepared there with natural ingredients. I love this place and have been a customer for several years now. I think it is time for it to love to a larger location.
Andrew Huffman
House pho was spectacular and the bowl was bigger than my head, 5 stars
Emily Valentine
Food was pretty good. When we got back home with our order we realized that half the wontons didn't have any cream cheese in them (they looked like maybe they hadn't been sealed enough before going into the fryer).
Gabriel Merten
Great little hole in the wall. Came here with my girlfriend on a Saturday night around 6pm. The wait was about 15-20 Minutes, and they have literally no seating for parties of more than 4 people. So be prepared to wait for a table to open up.
Food was really good, and Pho was on point. NOT the best i've had, but definitely above average.
Kevin Kangas
These guys don't disappoint!! Great tasting food in large portions. This is definitely a local gem in the heart of the city, family owned and operated. If you have not been here yet, I would highly encourage you to do so! Support local!
David Van Komen
We arrived a day earlier to a super busy lunch rush, but decided to try again the next day. Arriving right when the place opened was perfect because we were able to get a good table. The staff is super friendly and there are so many different menu options. I highly recommend eating at Lotus Restaurant.
Isabella Bridges
Lotus wings are the best wings around! Great spot.
Google Top Reviewers
Small place, but efficient and quick. Love the small portion of soup, so we can try different things. Wonton egg noodles with thin BBQ pork and 5-spice, cleared broth hits the spot. Bun Bo Hue is not too spicy (which is great) and tasty. Pho might needs a little "lift" to be at the level of authentic. Overall, very happy tummies!
Anna Nguyen
This place only gets three stars for the good service and nothing else. We ordered the “large” sizes of pho and bun bo hue. What we got was a huge bowl of broth with barely any noodles in each. The large portion just means more broth, not more protein nor noodles. Sad portions at slightly more expensive prices than other Viet restaurants. Will not go back. There are a lot of other great Viet restaurants out there, but I just went to this one because it was open a little longer than some at the time
John L. Pontolillo
I love all the food here. It tastes incredibly fresh, and like each dish is really made to order, rather than scooped out of a giant pre cooked tray. The nicest staff.
M. L.
Love love love this place! I this was the very first place I ate in Minneapolis. 5 star quality food at 2 star prices. Fast service easy in easy out. Great for a quick sit down lunch. Loved my curry soup.
Heather Riffenburg
I just discovered this joint a month ago and I've been three times. I love the fact they can accommodate veggie heads like me. Hands down the best egg rolls. I have not had anything bad here. LOVE it.
Nick Higgins
Hands down some of the best pho money can buy. I no longer live in the area, but every time I come back I make coming to Lotus for a big bowl of the good stuff a priority. It's a small establishment so be prepared to wait during dinner hours, but trust me it's worth it.
Aly G
Amazing food. I find myself craving it at least once a week and even when ordering for delivery, it comes hot and absolutely delicious. Very very VERY highly recommend.
Leon “Edwins” Heart
The Pho and customer service is on another level <3 If I lived closed by I would be there every other day. Highly recommend to all especially Pho lovers
Nancy L
Authentic Vietnamese dishes (good pickled daikon&carrots and sweet/sour sauce aka nuoc mam)
Try the banana fried wontons!
Dragonfly cait
We go there for the yellow curry Mock Duck.
We live an hour and 45 min away and when we are hankering for good Vietnamese food, we head there. I have it with vegetables, Hubby, just the onions in the sauce. By far and away, this is our favorite place for Vietnamese food.
Although I asked for hot green tea for a beverage. Our waitress hemmed and hawed and said they were out of hot tea. I then asked for iced tea, same result. C’mon. A Vietnamese restaurant that’s out of tea???!!! Don’t know what was up, but a Vietnamese restaurant is, or should never be, out of tea! Will call tomorrow and find out what’s going on.
Doug Maggi J
Simple treaty Vietnamese, been going here for nearly two decades. My only complaint is that their spicy meter doesn't go high enough, some times I want beyond a 5 but I may not have the right kind of sauce that won't distort the flavors too much. I won't doc a star for my spicy pref though.
Samantha Courts
Amazing food at great prices period every time me and my boyfriend has ever had a date night we've gone to lotus. 2020 we've taken out from here more, but still amazing service, fantastic food.
Dale Gruber
Lotus is the best Pho in town. No doubt about it. It has a feel of an old diner car in a strip mall but it is delicious. I prefer the stew Pho - it is amazing!
The prices are good, parking is okay, but the food is great!
Katy Friends
I got lucky in the food world last night. As I was leaving the sculpture garden to go back into the Walker I passed a couple of people who were eating food that smell delicious. They told me it was from Lotus and it was within walking distance. I looked up the menu and got even more excited when I saw the prices are very reasonable. I was with my family so we combined horses and all ordered something different. I have course got the crab wontons. For some reason that is my jam right now. I should probably find something more healthy. They were delicious. I got the House Pho because I could not decide which meat to get. Next time I will get beef. My sister got the chicken Pho (her first experience with Vietnamese soup). Both of us were very happy. Everybody shared the potstickers app that was very yummy. My brother-in-law got a hot and spicy plate of chicken Pad Thai. He loved it. My father got a traditional plate that he and I was not as excited about. Maybe the meat in that should be dry?? I like tender meat. My mother got garlic sauce chicken that was full of vegetables. She was not extremely thrilled, but she is hard to please when it comes to food. She is somebody who would rather make food at home, I am somebody who would rather try every restaurant in the world.
Lavanya Narendran
Being vegetarians, there were plenty of choices on the menu to order from. Taste was really good. Very friendly service.
Anthony Maki
Love this place. They rock a scrumptious banh mi and an incredibly rich, savory pho. Constantly busy, but you can tell it’s a good thing. Come frequently enough, and the staff will learn your name. Especially loved, since King & I Thai closed in 2012 and made it the sole southeastern Asian cuisine restaurant in Loring Park.
catherine simmons
I ordered eggs rolls, oyster chicken and shrimp fried rice. Let me tell You All 💖 💖 💖 It was the " Off The Chain!!!!😋😋 "😊😊and the young man that served me was very very kind, smiling. Which told me I'm going to be coming back and I sure going To be For Real. And the Atmosphere, was other customers sitting, laughing, talking and Enjoying their selection w/smiles on their faces. Thank You, Lotus Family and Young man the rice was Excellent😋😋C.J.
Spencer Tibbitts
Excellent food. It was very busy for lunch, but they were very quick and we didn't have to wait long at all. I had the Pho, and an egg roll. They were among the best of each that I have ever had.
T S
Delicious and fast delivery! Under 30 minutes on a Friday night. I used DoorDash to have pad Thai delivered to my room... when it's -5 I don't mind the short wait and of course leaving a nice top for the driver who had to go out in the cold.
Joel Rashad
My whole family has eaten at Lotus since their early years they are absolutely the BEST hands down we ALL love their food and a very warm friendly family ..
Tristan Rendo
My favorite restaurant in the cities. Food is great and service friendly. I previously, reluctantly, gave Lotus 3 stars due to them never answering their phone making it near impossible to place carry out ahead of time. They've improved this and now I have zero complaints.
Peter Goldberg
Cozy location conveniently near downtown that serves quality Vietnamese food in good quantities at very reasonable prices. We got vegetarian egg rolls, tofu pho stew (it's vegetarian!), and com ga. The egg rolls were quite crispy but a little oily, the tofu pho stew had some spice and a great depth of flavor, the com ga had beautifully fried chicken and tasty stir-fried rice. I would have liked a bit more seasoning in the rice but Lotus is a viable option that can compete with the deliciousness of Eat Street.
Jojo W.
Yummy but typical dishes. With good prices.
z zong
Had veggie spring rolls and pho here, both were awesome! The service is good, but the space is small so if you come around dinner time it gets a bit crowded.
Jesse Herr
I keep telling myself I would write a review, but I forgot many times. I don't do any reviews and this will probably be my only one, but I can say, that Lotus does not hold back on the quality of their food. This place is just simply amazing. I am currently a MCTC student (the school is about 3 blocks away). I recommend every student at MCTC to at least try it once or anyone in Minneapolis who hasn't tried it. I have tried a lot of food there and every plate was good!!! Get the pan fried pot-stickers (fried dumplings)! The only thing I would not recommend is their pho( not that their pho is bad), just because I've tried many great pho places and Lotus' bowl size are not the biggest.
Besides the quality of the food, their quality of customer service skills are beyond gracious... let me just say they are the nicest people you'll meet in a restaurant.
Everything thing there is about 10 bucks so its not too expensive and not the cheapest, but it's so worth the money EVERY TIME. Kay well I'm done ranting/reviewing on Lotus, I'm actually eating some take out from there right now!
Got the beef with pineapple (comes with rice or fried rice) and pork with potato!
Tony Sivongxay
Great food and atmosphere. Pho is pretty good. I like how you can choose what meats go in. Just the super hot chili and garlic oil. Only pho place that rivals is Pho 79 (Minneapolis). Fried noodle dishes are really good. They do have somewhat large portions, so dont over order. Parking lot can get crowded, so bigger groups try to carpool!
T Crawford
Very good food. Not great for big crowds, it's a very tiny place. Real cozy and only has about 4 or 5 tables to sit at. Also kind of spendy. Everything I have tried there I have enjoyed, so worth my money.
Roni T
I've been enjoying their cuisine for over 20 yrs. They for sure have the best Vietnamese food in the city!!!
Nikk
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Minneapolis area. The food is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. This place is busy from open until close because it's so good, yet there is very little wait time to eat.
HaeWon Sohn
The shrimp & bbq pork fresh spring roll is sooooo goooood!
Robert Landsparger (Relinator)
Was looking for a place to get some takeout and head back to the hotel. This turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was great and a good value. I'd head back again. Parking was the only concern, but not insurmountable.
Jimmy
Pho and bun Bo hue was very good and reasonably priced compared to competition. Parking is annoying though.
Maria Ramos
My Uber driver (forgot his name) recommended this place to me, and holy moly they have some bomb pho! They provided me fast service, and everyone was very nice (even though I kept spacing out) :D And the ambience is top tier with all the chill decor and music.
Jimmy Varghese
Small place, well priced. Ordered Pork Pot stickers, Curry soup and pho. Pot stickers was average. Curry soup was nice. Pho was tasty. I could compare it with Quang for Pho. They are well on price and good on service.
Rick Thompson
The service was great, the food was delicious.
Yohana Azul
I fell in love with this place my sophomore year of college, and I continue to love this place, it has a family atmosphere and the staff is always so nice, limited parking but it is so worth it, food is delicious and it does not take long for it to come to your table.
I adore their wontons, they are the best I have had in the twin cities!
Love love love this place!
bdiamonddmc
Not sure how to rate this place as I couldn't eat here. Looks great, smells good, but try as I might, I couldn't find any place to park and after many trips around the nearby streets I gave up and went elsewhere. I'm too far away to try this, but if you're in the area you may want to try for delivery service from a place like this. I'll try again if I get down here and will review then if I can get in.
%%
Been eating here for years, Extremely good food! The seating is limited so keep this in mind. I recommend the PHO Soup!
If coming here late at night be sure to have/wear protection.
Michael Pearson
From time i walked in & placed my order to receiving it was 15 min. Great time & order was accurate. Love the Lotus
Sue Chiru
I love love this place. Nice cozy restaurant always busy cause the food is amazing. I always get the shrimp fried rice and the mini shrimp egg rolls. The people working there are always very friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Patrick Kelly
My first visit was disappointing. The fried rice (chewy) seemed to have been made a long time before my visit. My garlic chicken was heavily weighted in favor of vegetables and the garlic sauce was very fishy tasting. I requested a level 4 spice but that was very mild.
Travis Pagliara
Absolutely the best Vietnamese in Minneapolis. The Pho is really something special - even when comparing it to all the choices on Eat street. The staff are friendly. The store is family owned. The pickup is swift.
Karen Baumgartner
Yum!! I eat here at least 3 times when I'm in town!!
Tau Kotoni
This place is ran by the members of a lovely family, who have dedicated their lives in serving nothing but the the best food in the cities! They serve delicious, fresh, home-style-cooked food with a smile. These guys are genuinly friendly and they do care about their customers.
Try out their Pho soup, that's my favorite. It's flavor never gets too old, you can never have enaugh of thier Pho. In my opinion Lotus Restaurant makes the best Pho in the Twin Cities, that's probably why I dine there a couple of times a week.
Karen Wang
I got the pho with meatballs, and M got the pho with beef. They tasted fine. However, most pho places will offer different cuts of beef and Lotus does not.
There's a tiny lot in front of the restaurant which is normally full. There's street parking which isn't metered after 6 though, so it's not really a problem.
Felicia Coston-Jackson
Love Love Love this place!!!!! Favorite place for fried rice, pho and limeade. Food ALWAYS FRESH AND HOT!!!!!!. Still waiting for the Saint Paul location I continue to suggest. Love this place. So worth the wait when we go on busy time.
Matthew Krebs
SOOOOO PHO 'cking good!!!
Rick Hanson
Nice little spot in the downtown area. We got the curry soup with chicken, cream cheese wontons, pad Thai and pineapple stir fry. The curry soup and cream cheese wontons were really exceptional and the other items we had were alright. I would definitely go back just for the wontons.
The restaurant is in a small strip mall with not many parking spots available. We had to look around for some time in the nearby streets for a spot.
Brian Kondrad
Food is good. Area is scary. (Good for people watching though) there’s tons of fights and police interaction in their parking lot! Make sure you lock your doors in your car if you come!
Julia Cassen
The pho and shrimp spring rolls are the best I've had. I brought three people, we all had the same thing and everyone agrees. Busy place at lunchtime.
Fam Fam
Delicious flavors and decent prices but my com tam (grilled pork) was super dried. Textured like a jerky, stringing and dry.
Omar Garcia
Good food. High prices but comparable to other restaurants in the area. Parking is a nightmare when you get blocked by people parking behind you which happens everyday especially during rush hour. Street parking is a nightmare too. A lot of hoodrats hang out on the parking lot and harrass you for money or to by them a beer.
Wesley Eastman
Just go here. You won’t regret it.
Anjel Vaillancourt
You feel at home and comfortable from the moment you walk in!
Doesn't matter what you order on their menu, everything is delicious! However, I cannot pick so I generally order 3-4 different menu items for myself.
David Erickson
Had the General Tsos chicken, great flavor, generous portion, reasonable price. Friendly people. Fortunately I went late so was able to get a place to sit. I hear it can get very busy.
James Christopher
The go to spot for pho or banh mi sandwiches. Even when busy, the wait is less then 10 min. Our pho took a little longer then usual, so the waitress gave us spring roles for waiting. Can't beat that
Mee
Very small inside so if it was full and you want to dine inside you most likely will have to wait. Food is great but you will have to wait a while. They did forget one of our drinks and we had to go back in and wait for it.
sunil puranik
Must haves
# Pho pho and pho
# Cream cheese puffs
Found this quaint little gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood.
The food is really tasty. me and my wife loved the Pho and we go at-least once a month to have it.
Kailey Koo
Delicious food... sometimes it looks super crowded but it’s mostly people waiting for takeout! There’s a parking lot but it’s small and shared with other businesses (you can street park for free two blocks away if you can snag a spot.)
Matthew Harper
Wonderful food, I've ordered 8 different dishes from here and everything has been delicious. I'll be back next time I visit from Chicago 😋 …
Mike Gloss
This is our favorite restaurant. We eat here regularly. Egg rolls are fantastic. The lunch special is really great
Kay King
The food here is always amazing! I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered, and I look forward to trying all the things I haven't ordered.
OuttaTownTony
If someone from out of town asked for a referral of best Vietnamese Cuisine, this would be one of two where I would send them! I rate my experiences on the following criteria: flavor, variety of dishes and price.
FLAVOR- Pho is spot on! You can taste a slight sweetness in the broth, which is a personal favorite. 5/5
VARIETY- They have a normal variety of items that you always see at Vietnamese resturants 4/5
PRICE- Cheap. Inexpensive. Great value 5/5
You have my personal recommendation: PHO.
Tell’em Tony Bologna sent you!
Ozzie Valverde
I'm a huge fan of the pad thai with mock duck, it's some of the best in the cities. and the prices are not bad, the service is great.
LegBoiLegend
Fantastic service and food at an amazing price!!! Will definitely be going back!
Marcus Nil
I don't get out enough to compare this place to other but I will say the pho hit harder than my dad's belt
Christopher Hsu
I had the Pho with Beef and Meatballs as well as the Shrimp spring rolls. Both dishes were average. The Pho wasn't saulty enough and they didn't have any fish oil sauce. The beef in the Pho was also a little overcooked so it wasn't very tender. The spring roll needed a little more shrimp and a little less vegetable. Payment is really easy though as you pay up at the cashier and they will split the bill however many ways you need. .
Eric Alan
If someone asks me what my all time favorite restaurant is, Lotus is it! It's more than just the consistency, or the price point, or the family that owns and runs it, or even the location. It's mostly the fact that they have a cure for the common cold. Their Pho Soup is it; and you can't go there without ordering the spring rolls.
Padra Moua
This is one of only two places I get pho at in town. Cute little hole in the wall restaurant. Limited parking due to it's location, but the people are so kind and personable. I love supporting local and family owned businesses!
Cecilia (CC)
The absolute best Vietnamese restaurant in Minneapolis Minnesota!! I LOVE the Lotus and everyoneI know loves them too!! If you are visiting the mini apple DO NOT MISS OUT!!! DELICIOUS💜💛💚💖💚💛💜 …
Tim Woodman
This place will always be a 5 star in my book. I have been coming here for 20 years. Family owned business this family is dedicated to providing amazing food! Highly recommended place to dine!!!
Nikolai Kravets (Commissar Cattaneo)
Excellent Pho as well as rice and noodle dishes. Always good service. Despite lack of parking options i would highly recommend Lotus for their delicious food. Try the stew Pho.
Lisa Tami
LOVE their food! Just good luck finding parking for even takeout they're always busy (which is a good sign) love their vegetarian options & spring rolls! Yum!
Heather
Great Vietnamese family restaurant with to die for eggrolls. Only negative is there extremely limited parking and the restaurant is very small so consider the takeout option.
Alex Bliss
My absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the cities. Their pho is out of this world (such a flavorful broth!), and the com ga has some of the best fried chicken I've eaten in Minneapolis.
Chad S
They have a really well priced lunch special and the food is always really good. The staff are very nice. It can get really crowded around lunch time and the space is a bit small.
joni idk
I get a bowl of pho there every day. The best pho in the city and the most affordable too!
Nicky Clark Svien
Best egg rolls around, great service.
Justin Atwork
One of my favorites in Minneapolis. Food is Great and for some reason it's crazy cheap. I live nearby and everything I've had here is delicious
Jim Dier
Concentration on take out with limited dine in. Pho is great and prices are very reasonable. Not a place for a fancy dinner or first date... more utilitarian
Kristine Foltz
I am not from this area but I travel ALOT for work and I can confidently say this was the best pho I've ever had. I did not try anything else but I would definitely return anytime I'm in Minneapolis.
James Broom Schweitzer
Some of the best pho in town. The staff/ownership remember your face and are always very friendly. A staple in our family Minneapolis restaurant Rolodex.
Eitel Apartments
Food is always amazing and staff very friendly. We appreciate you being in the community!
Eri Isomura
Pho is great, egg rolls are fantastic, overall great menu. Wonderful service, plenty of sunlight, not much parking.
Gretchen Gustafson
Do yourself a favor and come here! The pho is the best I've had in mpls and the com tam is delicious. Super friendly, local atmosphere and is amazing every single time.

Fantastic value for lunch, absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Minneapolis to try something different off the menu.
Tammy Wilkins
The food was delicious! Great lunch combo specials and the server was super friendly and helpful! I would definitely go back!
Luis Melendez
This family owned and run restaurant, offers great service and excellent food. Always a great evening... A must try!!!
Kilian Keefe
I used to be a huge fan but today I ate there and my rice smelled and tasted like cigarettes. I'm unsure if I will go back because it used to be one of my favorite restaurants but that definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
Shawn Vaxter
I love this place! Every one that I taken there becomes addicted to the food! The food is off the chain, the service is awesome, and the whole family is friendly!
Elijah Hedges
I didnt expect much from the outside appearance, but the food was phenomenal, service was quick enough with how busy it was, wait staff was nice and super helpful, and its eztremely affordable! I would definitelly recommend
James Hathaway
Great. Generous portions. Never dissatisfied with anything on the menu. I was in town for 3 weeks during super bowl and ate here 15 times.
Jennifer Fisher
Yummy food, highly recommended just not for fried rice. They have some of the best Vietnamese food in the Maple Grove Arbor lakes area
Phacelesshero
Best egg rolls on the planet. Pretty much like all of the food. Nice and clean restaurant. Parking nearby can be a real pain though.
Krista Yamashita.
The Vietnamese noodle salad is my go-to here. The people are friend and food comes fast. The prices are very reasonable.
Quang Nguyen
Asian restaurant a couple blocks from the convention center,. Their menu is wide, but the emphasis is on vietnamese food. Place is family run and you can really tell they put their heart and soul into their food.
alysse lensing
Their cream cheese wontons are TO DIE FOR !! Also, fantastic pho!
Daniel Stephens
love the pad thai. usually are quick, but they frequently dont answer their phone event when it isnt busy. makes it less convenient to order carry out. would be nice to have a delivery service too.
miji kim
Too long wait to have one pho.. taste was good but even you order large, that's just medium size compared to other restaurant.
Emmanuel Valenzuela
Food and service is always good and love the atmosphere. Suggest making reservations whether it be for lunch or dinner. Within walking distance of Target Center and Target Field.
Ginny Miller
Ate there for the first time tonight. Great spring rolls. Loved the pad Thai. Friendly and efficient service! Wish I lived closer.
Common Sense Edina
Great Vietnamese food. Don't go downtown without having a meal or fast take out. Always fresh and cooked from scratch.
Amanda Gustafson
My absolute favorite spot in Minneapolis for Vietnamese food. Staff is always super kind too !
elisabeth oh
Was skeptical as it is next to a gas station but very good lunch spot with quick service! One of my favorite go-to's for Vietnamese and mainstream Thai favs!

Flavorful food, quick service, and really cost effective. The atmosphere is no-frills but the staff is all-business.
Chris K
Really good. Ate delish pad thai and prolly the best curry soup I've ever had here. Friendly staff and fast service.
John Vang
My wife and I love this place. Now, only if we could find more time to go eat more Pad Thai, away from our always hungry kids.
Ashlee Carlson
Lotus is hands down the best pho in the twin cities. This location is also considerably better in flavor than the Uptown location.
Steve Boland
Great food, many choices for vegetarians. Really good spicing, very fast preparation and service. Great prices!
Faical Rayani
This place is really good and everything is reasonably priced. Amazing considering how close to DT it is. Staff is friendly, venue is clean and well kept. Family owned!

Bryana Kortendick
On point every time and the owners are the best. My favorite spot in Loring Park!

Unbelievable hole in the wall experience. Don’t be deterred by the strip mall it resides in, this place has phenomenal pho.
Doug Waalen
Food was great .waitresses was dumb.as a box of rocks.came and asked how are food was .when we had not even got are food yet..and came to take our drinks from us when we were still eating.

absolutely without question the BEST asian restaurant in the twin cities...every aspect from friendliness to food quality to atmosphere to menu selection to prices to proprietors who really care....i've been to em all and this place wins hands down.
Kenton .Watson
Really tasty Pho, quick and good service in a simple but somehow still quite cozy and charming counter serve (with some seating) restaurant.
Nimo Shkedy (Nimo)
Great pho. Stew pho also great. Prices definitely reasonable. Short walk from the Minneapolis convention center.
A place to save for my next conference here!

Food is good. But line was too long.

Molly Heldt
Pho, eggrolls and wantons r great. The spring rolls r okay. The food is a bit pricey and terrible finding parking area.
Heather W
Very small family owned Vietnamese food restaurant. Lots of foot traffic and take out orders when you walk in. The workers are very friendly and the food is pretty good!
Joanna Koziel
Best Pho soup and spring rolls in town!! You can’t go wrong!! Authentic and delicious!
Sydney Thomas
Great local place with great food!
Cream cheese wontons are the best I’ve ever had.
urbanotter 1968
4.5 actually....The .5 deduct was because the tofu was soggy/rubbery rather than more firm and kinda chewy maybe crispy ;-)... Everything else was Great.
Nishant Gupta
Potatoes with oyster sauce is to die for, the food is simple and not overly heavy and I think that is what I like the best about this place.
Wanderlust1
Excellent Food and Awesome customer service. Door Dash messed up my order - they happily fixed it & threw in some apps !!!
World Traveler25
This was my favorite place to go in the past
Now something has changed
The food is not as flavorful anymore
