The poke was very good! It’s definitely a more Togo place though then dine in as most of the place doesn’t have tables to eat at but I would come back for something quick. However hot food was a 40 min wait so we didn’t get that and the lady was pretty short with us probably because she was so busy. So come for the food but not really anything else

This is the best poke place in Minneapolis. Good prices and good portions! Everything seems fresh and is delicious! Everywhere else in MPLS, avocado costs $2 extra to add, but it’s completely free to put in the bowls here, which is awesome. Love!!!!

Ordered delivery and everything was neatly packaged. Was really impressed by the portion sizes of the poke bowl and the vegetarian ramen. The poke bowl actually lasted me for 2 meals. The fish tasted fresh, though I wished the rice had been a little more vinegary. The takoyaki was delicious and filling and contained an appropriate amount of octopus pieces. They didn't skimp at all on the Bonito flakes. Will definitely order again.

If you’re thinking of trying poke for the first time, go here. Being able to fill out your own order card is great for people who are intimated by new things like myself. It’s expensive, but it’s so delicious that I just keep coming back.

Very fresh and great value. It’s like a Japanese version of Chipotle! Also I love the contrast between the warm sushi rice and the cold, flavorful toppings. They let you add so many types of toppings. Friendly staff. Clean establishment.

Jj’s poke is everything. So great. I get it at least once a week (often more than that). It’s fresh, great quality, the sauces hit every time. It’s also very approachable for newbies to poke with their build your own option.

Delicious poke made by a very friendly staff! For about $10 I got a very hearty bowl with different types of fish and a variety of toppings. While the restaurant was almost empty around lunchtime there was a steady stream of food delivery people coming in to pick up orders—I will have to try delivery to my office sometime. Will definitely be back soon!

I love this place. I am on a very low carb diet and I love that I can get my poke over mixed greens. The sauces are very tasty. I love the different choices of proteins. The squid salad is one of the best that I have had in a very long time. Each bowl that I get is different and so tasty. I will keep coming back. I love the ease of ordering with doordash. My coworker and I have had meals from here at least 5 times in that last week.

For the price this is a steal. The ingredients are very fresh and the quality of the produce is fantastic. The flavors, sauce and multiple ways to make your bowl lets you have many options. The staff is nice and friendly and the environment is very clean. I have been back twice already and plan on being back for more. Best Poke Bowl in dinkytown.

Poke is like a bowl of sushi and it's awesome. It's significantly cheaper than most sushi and it still has the same great taste. The ordering style is similar to chipotle where you pick what you want to put in the bowl.

I'm so glad poke has finally made it's way to Dinkytown! Just went to JJ's with my husband and we both LOVED our food. I had the rainbow bowl and he had the super bowl. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and very generous portions. And the staff was extremely friendly! We will be back!

Wow. What a meal! It was late, I was tired, and there was no way I was cooking. I wanted to order delivery and I also didn't want to break the bank doing so. I felt like eating something healthy. I am so glad I chose JJ'S Poke. The price was good and the food even better. It tasted fresh and clean. I had gotten a make your own poke bowl with miso soup....all for under 8 dollars! For the ingredients they use its a steal. I will definitely be using this place as my go to healthy, easy, quick option.

First time rating a restaurant. First time giving a 5 star. It’s a fast food place, but their rainbow poke bowl is truly great. Had really experience with poke bowl before, but this place gives me faith in it again.

The man at the register was extremely welcoming, and helpful! I was taken aback by the burst of flavor that each ingredient held, also! The one thing I did not care for is that their spicy salmon was like a paste. I really would have preferred actual chunks of salmon seasoned with spices and such. I'd return to try the place out again!

This place just opened less than 10 miles from my house and I can't tell you how absolutely elated I am! Easy drive easy to find, no issue with parking. Proportions were great the people are so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! JJ's poke is delicious food made from fresh ingredients. I think some of the reviews here aren't keen to the freshness of fish / quality of available fish in Minnesota as well as the fact that mango is not always in season. You can't expect any place in Minnesota to serve the same quality of fish as Japan or East/West coast USA. Compared to other places in the Twin Cities, JJs poke serves very good quality fish near par with the best sushi places in the cities.

Be careful the Cashiers are very sneaky, they have the ability to add a tip on their own screen, but it won’t show up on yours but it definitely will on your bank statement , So ASK FOR RECEIPT

I'll preempt by saying I've never had poke before coming here, but omg this poke was delicious! For $11 you can get a medium bowl with a variety of delicious additions. The checkout process is pretty seamless as well, as you just fill out your choices on a card. Overall would recommend, expect to be able to bring some home with medium or large bowls.
