Very great customer service... The food is definitely worth the five star. If you love chicken this the place to to go to. Convenient location. 🔥🔥🌞☀️

Okay for one, this is probably the best chicken you can get around. But their prices are ridiculous! Definitely not the place to go if you’re on a budget. The service also could be better. It usually takes quite some time to get your food so be prepared to wait a little bit. And they all have very strong accents and talk fast so it can be pretty hard to understand them, especially the younger lady that speaks softly on top of that. Not a huge issue but prepare to have some patience. Staff is sometimes rude, sometimes they’re okay. Other than that, the food is pretty damn good. But good lord if they just reduced their prices a little then I’m sure they’d get a LOT more business. They definitely would from me! I lived right down the street from this place until 2021, My work is still a 1 minute walk away. And I must say I only go here maybe once or twice a year ever since it opened up. The food is good but it doesn’t match it’s prices

Every time I passed this place, it always had a customer or two waiting in line. So we decided to try it late one night in August. She had the perch and I went for the gyros. Both were very satisfying leaving us wanting more. A strong recommendation for your taste in Mediterranean flavors.

Friendly employees. Ordered 1 piece catfish, 10 pieces of shrimp, 3 chicken strips (2 inches wide, 5 inches long and almost 3/4 of a inch thick), french fries and a slice of white bread. Definitely a fair amount of food. Very tasty.

Great menu and very friendly staff..reasonably priced items and not soaked in grease..had catfish~was Perfectly done and lightly breaded..fresh taste and speedy service! Has great kids menu also! Delicious desserts! So many menu items to choose from at great prices! From Gyros to fresh fish dinners! Many delicious sandwiches, so took many photos for you to see! Really enjoyed this place!

Large portions of good tasting food for a fair price. I've tried the Italian Beef Sandwich, Perch meal, Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, Gyro, Curry Chicken on Rice, and Catfish with Chicken Wings. The meals were great! Looking forward to trying more of their food. Not ideal if you are in a hurry. They make your food fresh so it normally takes about 15 minutes.

Amazing food! Cute little local place in the city that’s about ten minutes from where I work. There must have been something in the air because the customers were HORRIBLE tonight! Pictured is my boyfriend’s gyro and fries and my catfish meal. The only downside I can think of is that they don’t give you that much ketchup packets and then charge you $2 if you want any more.

Fried mushrooms are absolutely delicious! Gyro was also delicious, meaty and piled with a good helping of toppings. Loved it!

Fast food look with that hole-in-the-wall feel. The food is always hot fresh and crisp and I am a fan of their hot sauce. The service seems a bit below the bar, even for a " fast food" place. The food is great quality, with good portions, and decent prices. Think of a food truck without the truck. Maybe share your best joke and see if it gets you anywhere.

Has gotten pretty expensive over the years. Used to be able to get a gyro cheese fry for 7.99 or 8.99. It's was 13.95 for it now. Food was fresh though

My daughter and I came here for takeout. The service was friendly and we didn’t wait long. I ordered shrimp and catfish with fries, hush puppies and stuffed jalapeños, my daughter ordered shrimp. We shared the fries and appetizers. I think for the price, the food is pretty good, though at least the appetizers are all previously frozen. Possibly the seafood also, but not positive on that, because everything was moist and flaky but crispy on the outside. The fries are great. We got pieces of cake for dessert, which were also both from a box. Everything tasted really good! The only reason I took a star off is because so much isn’t made in-house, possibly none. But our food was still hot and crispy once we got home. Low key genius idea putting a slice of white bread in the food boxes to soak up the steam. It really works!

For the most part this is a decent place. I've had several wrong orders or missing items and never credited for it. They don't speak very good English at all nor do they understand issues or they play dumb. When ordering out sometimes they're out of order so you'll sit there longer. The food is good when they get it right. The pricing is average.

I opted for catfish and shrimp combo with french fries! Nicely seasoned shrimp, however the catfish could have been cooked a bit more at a higher heat! Seemed too mushy in texture- I will change up my order next time! Service was a bit slower than usual- They need more staff cooking!😀

This is a great local place. Their Phillys are really well done. I just wish they had some tasty peppers or giardiniera for them. But tasty. Wide menu and well worth checking out for grill favorites.

The food is good and pretty cheap. Gyros are good, and so is the catfish. They will put lemon pepper on everything, so ask them to not use it if it bothers you.

The young gentleman that took order was very nice. We ordered chicken wings and fries that were fresh and hot. We forgot hot sauce and bbq sauce, so I would have gave five stars if we were asked if sauce was needed. Overall the food was great as always and I would recommend them if your in neighborhood and want fast and fresh food with wonderful service.

"Lots of potential, but not quite right." - Time to update the review. Hooks got consistently better and is now excellent. The fish and chicken are perfectly cooked (as they always were) but they’ve really gotten the seasoning ratio down. The flavors are really good. Portions are large as well. 5 stars for the price

Pros: Great that it was opened late. Almost the only thing around late at night. The gyro and fries were good. Con: The cashier had trouble understanding me after pronouncing the "gyro" different ways (he-do and he-ro). Then the cook had trouble understanding him when the cashier told him (gee-ro). Kinda funny. Thought I'd be back to try other item menus but after reading the bad reviews maybe not.

The place is small. There are a few booths to sit at. Better to order & go. Shrimp, Chicken & Catfish is delicious. Served with lots of fries, bread & a sm. coleslaw & a drink with the dinners. Lots of others selections & they can make for large crowds. They are a little hard to understand but eventually we understand each other. ☺ I have been back 3 times now, very happy with the food. Oh, the bathroom needs a big makeover & a good cleaning.

The food is good. My issue is when I call ahead and they tell me 15 minutes and I get there and my order isn't ready. So now I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes more for an order that should have been ready. If you can't keep up with orders get more help or give people a realistic time.

Your prices are too high. The hook in st paul on university is way better and the prices are way cheaper. They got a 3 wing I piece catfish for like 8 bucks and it comes with a drink. This place its like 15.

Love their food!! Everything I have ever tried from here is absolutely delicious! They have one of the best Philly cheesesteak Sandwichs I've had!! Plus they're fries are also amazing especially when you choose the option to put Cheese sauce on them! If I had anything negative at all to say about this particular Location is the Employees who take the orders are usely quite Rude... They dont have the best Customer service Skills.. BUT If you can get used to the attitude issues then go for it! I personally think the food is worth it and makes up for it! 🤣🤣

Unassuming from the outside, but this place has never disappointed me. Pretty solid fish, chicken tenders, and the fries are amazing. Only complaint would be the parking lot which is tiny and in the winter, people don't park well enough to fit many cars in the tiny lot.

Food was very good. Well sized portions and overall it was a clean establishment. An overweight bald man took my order was fairly rude, didn't ask the necessary information. He yelled loudly in a foreign language the ENTIRE time I was there. Extremely annoying.

This is a hidden gem for Columbia Heights. The food is honestly very good. It's worth the price you pay. I'm unsure of the recipes, but the food taste very unique compared to other seafood joints. Great staff and seems friendly enough.
