DELICIOUS! Perfect, cheesy not over sauced pizza finally! Their deep dish is genuine Chicago style and their thin crust is the traditional crust pizza you want here in Minnesota. Every time we eat here we love it. Frankies in New Hope never disappoints. And their staff are very friendly! Highly recommend.

Me, my Wife and a Friend of mine, who is originally from Chicago were first time customers. The Chicago Style Pizza was the real deal as well as the Chicago Style Dogs and we will be back to try the other styles of Pizza's. The only problem with the Pizza, was th Crust / Dough, because it's a little dry and flavorless. What they should do is coat the Pan with Garlic Butter, then put the Dough in the Pan. After it comes out of the Brick Oven, hit the outer edge of the Crust with Garlic Butter, and the Crust will soften up a bit and have amazing flavor.

My co-workers and I used to order from them at least once a week. Last time was a few days ago. We have always loved their food and timely fashion. We disregarded that the prices even went up substantially and still ordered. Two of my coworkers had an issue with some of their food and one called to see why they got the quality of food that they did. She was basically brushed off and told they were going to give the account a CREDIT. The account is mine but it was a group order, not to mention, they didn't even bother to replace the food. I personally think this was handled wrong and if the owner wants to have good reviews, he should provide the best. We have never ever complained, even when things weren't perfect because I am an avid community, small business supporter, BUT what I do not support, is not getting what we paid for and the decency of a courteous apology and a chance to make the customer happy. Shame on you...

It was very good. Bar style food for sure. My wife enjoyed her drinks and I enjoyed my food. Cozy and tasty. I couldn't finish my salad. Guys, your blue cheese is too watery... The waiter/bar tender was very nice and very helpful. The chicken wings were great. I could see some beautiful slices of pizza but I was in the mood for a hot dog. I would give the onion rings a 3 out of 5 stars, they soaked up too much oil. It is a good spot if you are looking for a bar, as for me, I'm going on 19 years soberiety.

They have great pizza! I recently ordered a beef sandwich and while the flavor was good, being from Chicago I'm used to shaved beef not semi thick slices so didn't enjoy it that much. I always order and pick up and the staff is great!

Managers are awesome. First time in. Tried a few things. Pasta was delicious. Fried mozzarella good. Italian combo was my favorite. Chicago style pizza was good but I like a little more toppings in a deep dish. Bloody Mary was pretty good too, infused vodka.

The food is very good! Ordered here several times and I'm always happy. Although, I ordered a fiesta pizza to go this evening and the lettuce that comes on the side looked like it was cut more for a burger than a pizza. I found this odd, but not necessarily a deal breaker.

Fantastic deep dish pizza, highly recommend the stuffed Chicago! My wife and I usually order then wait at the bar to pick up our pizza while having a drink! Friendly staff, and great food. Can't ask for much more.

Good pizza, the closest I've had to a Chicago deep dish in a while. Really, a good pizza if they had half stars I'd give them 4.5. If someone would just teach them how to pinch the crust edge against the pan, to get the proper thin vertical crust edge, they would be there. What they have now resembles a hand tossed crust edge with a large open strip, they did use enough toppings to cover the additional area that narrowing the crust edge would open up. Even the waiter commented, when the roomie was wasting crust, that the crust was a bit much. They are so close to having Chicago style deep dish right, that I'm much happier to eat it than disappointed at how they missed, but ever the optimist, I hope they read and pinch. Then they would be close to uno's, not pushing Gino's east but a lot closer geographically and financially. Really now that I think about it a great value, I didn't think about that earlier, the roomie paid.

Good happy hour pricing. Regulars fill the bar just after 3pm. Deep dish pizza is good. Bar stools very worn and could use replacing.

Really good lunch spot! They have lunch specials so you can drop in, seat yourself, and be eating in less than 5 min. The Chicago (not stuffed) pizza tastes great and was ready to go. I tried the Pepperoni. I will definitely come back.

Exceptional for what it is... in other words, local neighborhood bar type restaurant located in an older mall in the middle of the burbs. We went late, happy hour but our first time was exceptional. We ordered a bunch of food, of course the Pizza and much more. BIG MENUE, LARGE PORTIONS, REASONABLY PRICED and be yourself atmosphere. I believe Kate was our server, working as if we were the only ones in the restaurant ( we weren’t by the way ) . Made us feel like a million bucks, our personal particulars in our order... she said “No Problem”. Her service and of course the food caused us to return for more 3x already this month. Thank you Kate! 5-star - Recommend if you want casual, local flair and lets of pasta, pizza, and more...

Update: If I could give this restaurant a 2nd 5 star review, I would because I have ordered their Chicago Fire Burger at least five times now and it is easily the best hamburger I've ever had. I love spice and every time I've ordered this burger, it's been so incredibly delicious!! First time ordering from Frankie's and it was great! Ordered the fish and chips basket with salad for delivery. Everything was fresh and still crispy hot when it was delivered on time. Will definitely order again!

Ordered pizza, onion rings, and cheese curds. All the food tasted above and beyond great. My only criticism is the portion sizes for the cheese curds and onion rings were way too small especially for the price you pay for them. The curds only take up 1/4th of the Styrofoam take out container ; same with the onion rings.

Our grandson bragged to us about how good Frankie's pizza is. We were not disappointed! 6 of us in group, immediate seating. Friendly wait staff. Good pizza. Good pasta. We had salads. The lettuce was mixed baby greens, and was fresh tasting. Salad dressing flavorful. Brewed iced tea. Clean restrooms. Sanitizer in frequent spots of the restaurant.

The deep dish pizza is amazing! I usually get mad at a deep dish pizza that is all crust. This pizza doesn't skimp on the cheese. So expect to wait for it to be cooked, but after 2 pieces you are stuffed.

well I ordered a pizza but I meant to order from a different Frankies Chicago style pizza . but when I got it I was happy I screwed up, was very good I prefer thin crust pizza. and the garlic round was amazing it was like another pizza . plus the crust was crisp so it didn't have time to get greasy . .

One slice of their delicious deep dish pizza is a filling meal, and soooo good! We enjoyed the use of the party room for our gathering and we were never in want of service or refills. The wait staff is excellent, by the way. Very professional, kind and generous. We all appreciated the care that is obviously put into the food preparation and delivery to our tables. Thank you, Frankie's! We had a great time!

We’ve been having family movie night with pizza for dinner every Saturday since the pandemic started, and Frankie’s is in the regular rotation! I love that we can get decent after-the-kids-go-to-bed desserts, and my oldest loves that there is a “fairy table” in the pizza box. The amount of cheese is perfect for a good pull, the sauce is perfect—not too sweet, not too many herbs, and a good tomato taste. We need to try more of the specialty pizzas, but I especially love that we can build our own without the cost going through the roof! I have kids that are VERY OPINIONATED on toppings!

Everything on their menu is delicious- from the obvious pizza, to pasta dishes, sandwiches and burgers- you can’t go wrong. This neighborhood joint is a place we enjoy sharing with family and friends- not to mention one of our favorite local “cheat meal” spots. We haven’t dined in, but we have always had fast, fresh and friendly delivery. The front staff that takes calls is always accurate in taking orders and friendly. We really like this place. The food is tasty and is priced well. We love the buffalo tots as an appetizer. The pizzas are great, and I recently had the Hot Deli Beef, which was delicious. Happy hour is a good time to go, as well. Check it out!

I grew up near Chicago and frequently visited to get pizza. Frankies has the best CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH pizza that tastes like home. To clarify, seeing a lot of comments saying the chicago style deep dish has a lot of bread.. Chicago style is layers of cheese, sauce and toppings. I have been coming here for 3 years since I moved here. Keep up the great work guys!

Can't miss out on the deep dish Chicago stuffed pizza. I recommend getting just sausage or a meat lovers, but skip the veggies on the stuffed style. Excellent happy hour pricing (but skip the tots, go for the wings or cheese curds instead!). Amazing food, great service. I've also had success ordering delivery (I think through one of those third party food delivery companies like Bite Squad or Grub Hub). I will come back plenty of times in the future.

Good people, better good. I've eaten here plenty of times, their by the slice pizza is great, as is their take out. The bartenders are always super friendly and they run some cool specials. Even when they mess up, they do everything possible to make things right. Super sweet people, would definitely recommend this place.

I've worked in New Hope for 3 years and had never eaten here. We have a family tradition of going out for Pizza before our youngest boy's bday and chose Frankie's this year. GREAT experience, waitress with awesome handling two toddlers, food came quick, drinks were cold... overall GREAT time for us. Oh and the PIZZA was DELICIOUS!!!

The food has been good every time I went. The buffalo tots are a terrible kind of awesome - don't try to eat an entire plate by yourself, your stomach won't be happy with you for it. That being said, I will order them every damn time because they are delicious. The reason for the 2 star review is the service. If it's busy, and your drink hasn't been refilled in 15+ minutes, you know you're in for a bad time. Go refill your drink yourself. Pray you get the right pizza brought to your table (we didn't). Wait another 15 minutes for plates after you finally do get your correct pizza. Then, since you were so patient, get ready to wait some more, as everyone around you that came in 30+ minutes after you already were given their bills, while you're still waiting for your waitress to bring a box for your leftovers that were sitting on the table for the last 20 minutes. Edit: The service has definitely improved over the last 11 months, so I'm cautiously moving the rating back up to 4 stars as of 2/8/2017.

I called them to you as a credit from several months ago for bad food, and found out that they keep track of their credits with phone numbers which I personally think is not a great idea in case a person has to get a different number or something there's no way to redeem their credit without knowing their phone number but in any case the manager helped me to redeem the $15 credit without knowing my phone number and got me a pizza Plus delivery for that $15. It was really good but really small and I thought the prices were a little outrageous but the food was good and the fact that he was willing to help me was good although he mentioned to me more than once that he was very busy and he had customers in the restaurant. I thought to myself or what the hell am I I was a customer to when they sent me raw hamburgers

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner in their party room on Friday, May 5. From the moment I contacted the manager Kent we were treated as if we were long-time family and knew Frankie himself (or herself, assuming they're even real). We had a few minor requests, such as arranging the tables a certain way and labeling the food and seating. All were accommodated perfectly and without hassle. The food was served promptly and was steaming hot. The portions were also very generous. I am always a little skeptical when catering menus say, "serves 8-10" but then like 6 people actually get fed OK. This was far from the case. In fact, we had leftovers for meals later- further increasing the value of our visit. We will definitely be back and also recommend them to our friends.

The only semi negative thing I have to say is that the live music was a little too loud. But as far as food goes, it was excellent!

I tried out the slice and Chicago style hot dog combo. The pizza was a bit disappointing (not made to order which can happen) and the hot dog was a decent Chicago style dog. The interior could have used some cleaning and the furniture is fairly worn out. Overall a decent place for alright pizza and a drink.

This place is fantastic! Their stuffed pizza is the real deal (I'm a native Chicagoan) with a perfect crust and an ideal balance of ingredients. I've been here several times and am impressed by the consistent high quality of their pizza, and their excellent, friendly staff.

We go here for trivia. Food is pretty ok, but is a bit over priced even with happy hour prices. $3 for a few chunks of cheesy bread (which are delicious don't get me wrong, you can't go wrong with bread and cheese and marinara), $3 for like 5 onion rings. We've gotten a few pizzas while here and again, a bit overpriced for what you get. Bar is fine, they have a wide selection to choose from. Nice friendly atmosphere, but again, we are there for the events, the food we have not been super impressed with.

Frankie's is a fun place for a happy hour , but its staff is a mixed bag (as far as quality of service is concerned). The quality of food varies as well. Its usually fine enough but I won't order the wings again after eating part of the most disgusting order I've ever tasted.

Almost always a fantastic meal and when there was imperfection, the staff was quick to make accomodations. LOVE the stuffed pizza, the Alfred, the wet ribs, the buffalo tots, and the burgers... Oh and did I mention the sandwiches? The Chicago beef, the hot deli beef, the Cajun chicken... We usually go for a quick comfortable drink and end up grabbing a bite... Annnd a large spinach souffle with fresh sausage and pepperoni stuffed pizza for work lunches all week ;-).

Food is always tops. Stuffed-crust pizza is the best outside of Chicago. Sausage with extra cheese is the ONLY way to go! Good specials and happy hour, and was surprised with the outstanding weekend live music. Only the service is a little unpolished, but friendly enough.

I'm loving the atmosphere at this place. I love the pizza, but would skip the buffalo tots, as they were soggy ......and lacking flavor. The service is always friendly, and I have found it a good place to hang out at the bar on a date night or a great place to bring the kids for a pizza. I highly recommend.

Great place to watch the games and snag a good meal. Cheesecake is fantastic and definitely Chicago style, but I'm not sure they actually served me their Chicago deep dish. It was delicious and it was deep, but not the casserole dish kind of deep I was expecting.

The two slice and a soda deal for lunch is a great deal for very tasty pizza. This location has been here for a long time for a reason, the pizza is very good. There is a pleasant dining area, good spot for lunch, dinner or take out.

My family and I went to Frankies for dinner and were not disappointed. We ordered one of the Chicago Stuffed pizzas and I would definitely say I preferred to to Giordanos in Chicago. Making the pizza did require 40 minutes (as advertised), but the wait for lots of gooey cheese and flavorful sauce was worth it.

Was ok. Slightly disappointed in the pizza. Asked how many slices and was told 8. Got home and it was cut in squares. Antipasto salad was ok, served with spring mix lettuce not as good as either romaine or iceberg for that kind of salad

First off, the coupon codes do not work when you pay online . So CALL IN your order and PAY WHEN YOU PICK UP. Then have them take off you 10% which is suppose to be coupon code " GR8MEAL " . I've paid online twice now and didn't get my discount. And its not that I'm cheap. I believe in leaving at least a 20% tip because I know service work is hard and often thankless , no benefits, etc. And then 2nd. NORMALLY, Frankies food is superb. I don't know what's going on today but the tater tots seem like they were left over from lunch time and they just through them in the oven again to heat them up!! Plus they were way too salty . ( and that's saying something for me because I love salt ) . Yeah, as soon as the tater tots cooled just a little they were hard as rocks as well. Completely inedible!! The last time I was there I had the beef sandwich and fries and it was excellent! So maybe having an off day in the kitchen ?? Maybe the kitchen manager today is not managing so well ? Who knows but today I definitely would avoid the tater tots !!!

Rented their party room for a birthday party and it was great! Pizza was delicious (they have true Chicago pizza which went the quickest), they have a full bar to keep everyone happy, the ambiance was excellent, and the staff was attentive. I would certainly recommend Frankies for a gathering, or a casual visit for dinner or drinks.

Rachel was great! Had a big smile and talked to me a bit. It doesn't take much effort to do that but it goes a long way. Wish the server who sits a lot was more like rachel. I called the store after I left to tell the manager about my experience. Got to talk to the bar manager who was more than happy to hear about it. A snowy New Year's Eve 2018. My husband sick with a cold. I had just worked 7 of the busiest hours ever in my retail job. Frankie's delivered a fresh, hot pizza in less time than estimated. Phone service is always good, Sydney is one of my favorite people who answers the delivery phone. We needed someone to give us a great start to the New Year and Frankie's delivered.

Deep dish and Chicago Style are delicious. Pretzel Sticks with beer cheese dip are also a favorite. Fun environment and it's usually pretty busy, but again, have yet to experience a wait time to be seated. After getting food poisoning from P.A.M.P. in Robbinsdale, we are happy to have found our new favorite pizza place.

Prices are very high for what you get here. Last time I visited, I made a request for a carry out order by phone and when I arrived, they hadn’t submitted the ticket back to the kitchen until I got there after I paid. They gave me a pop drink on the house which I appreciated, and understood they were especially busy that day back in April. Maybe worth it for special occasions.

I thought the toppings were very sparse for a premium priced pizza. I would have expected double the cheese and tomatoes to start with. Also the deep dish is not real deep dish as the cheese is on top - a true deep dish with cheese on top would burn the cheese in the oven. It's more of a pretzel crust pizza.
