I've been here many times and liked it each time. The people are always courteous and the burgers are tasty and I like the free peanuts while waiting for my order. I can't finish the bacon cheeseburger w/ a regular Cajun fry so I don't think it's expensive at all. The fries are so fresh that I have to wait while they cool down so I can eat any. People often argue over whether Five Guys or In N Out is superior. It’s Five Guys hands down for me.

Honestly I have to say as someone who is super picky I love this location and food. I live in the area and I’ve dined and super upscale restaurants I’ve had their burger and fries at other places but theirs nothing like a 5 guy burger and fries don’t forget your milkshake!!! I mean I ordered the food delivery and it came super hot and fresh! I’m impressed !

Really good burgers and fries. It is kind of pricey though, but I think it's worth it. They give you a ton of extra fries so you can probably go with a smaller size and still have plenty. The restaurant is clean and nice on the inside. They have outdoor and indoor seating and also have the coke machines with 100s of different choices available

Look, they serve large (very large) quantities of greasy American food, and it is both terrific and not at all pretentious. Their fries tend toward the thicker, softer side, so if you do not like those you may not like them. But their burgers are delicious no matter how you slice them.

Felt very welcome here & that my patronage of the store mattered. Placed my order at 12:10 on a Wednesday. The gentleman who took my order was in training today. He made sure to ask me what I wanted on my little cheeseburger before he entered my fry order. He also thanked me for my order. : ) The young man who bags up the orders & calls customer's numbers smiled from his eyes, thanked me & wished me a good day. The wait was much shorter than I expected. The food was good & I had more fries than I knew what to do with. : ) Also enjoyed the music tracks. This store is doing a good job training their employees to value their customers in the above mentioned ways. Keep up the good work!

Not a fan since it's a bit pricey for my tastes compared to what you get. The burgers were great and so were the fries. For a place that is pretty much "fast food", it tends to be above that price range. I can tell I'm in the minority - lots of people appear to love it. That's fine. The company is all over it appears and has a business model that works, so I wish them the best.

But you were there for me. And you didn't even know. Food was good like usual but the last 4 times in a row I was rushed when there was nobody in line behind me and my order was incorrect. Something as simple as ordering 2 medium fries and getting 2 small fries doesn't seem like a real problem, and it's really not but it's aggravating that you can't hit the correct buttons. That's all.

Quick, delicious food with friendly service, but the pricing is slightly steeper than I would prefer. The portions are generous, and they are famous for the amount of "bag fries" you will receive with your order. You basically get an extra order of fries with the overflow. Try the Cajun spiced version and ask for Mayo to complement them. You won't regret it if you don't mind a bit of heat (not much). They also offer free peanuts while you wait, although this practice has been suspended during the Covid19 pandemic. Soda options are using the new Coke "everything in all flavors" touchscreen kiosks you now find in movie theaters, etc.

Five Guys is straight ahead good food. Great hamburgers and fries, nothing more and nothing less. We were helped by an attentive and happy staff who answered questions and were very accommodating to allergy needs. I've visited Five Guys restaurants in several states and always find the experience, food and service to be top notch. The Five Guys on Hennepin is a really nice store albeit a little bit small with a small parking lot that is poorly marked and hard to navigate.

Music is kind of overly loud. Fairly clean and decent. Service has been fine. Order staff have been quite disinterested, though adequate to basic functions. I dont blame them, given the mind numbing mundeity of the job. Fries are tasty but bad for gut health thanks to being being fried in polyunsaturated vegetable oil fats. Here comes the leaky gut! Mmm blood toxicity

I have a gluten allergy. They ask if your request for a bunless burger is a preference or an allergy. They are super careful if you have an allergy. Warning, though! Their regular burger is two patties so if you only want one patty, ask for the little burger! Everything is made fresh and to order! Great food at a great price!

Ordered online. When the time came to pick up our order, the place was pretty full. Maybe 10 people waiting. I was confused as to what to do. I finally figured out where to check in. A younger guy came right up to me and was friendly and efficient. He let me know what was happening. Honestly the workers there absolutely impressed me. All guys in their late teens. I couldn't believe how professional. They worked together and within 10 minutes (probably less) they cleared the place out. But whoever owns or runs that place, some instructions on how to proceed when you arrive would be helpful. I hope your paying those boys a decent wage, cuz they got your back.

The best burgers by far. If you think you can put together a better burger, then stay home and do it. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, the no-frills atmosphere is perfect for grab and go, and don't forget to eat those free peanuts while you wait for your burger masterpiece. All my friends and family have opted out of using ketchup on their burger... seriously, it doesn't need that condiment...the way they cook the patties puts all the flavor you'll need into your creation. Save the ketchup for the ton of fries you get with your order.

Decent food, this location was not as clean as others. We had to clean off a table in order to sit. Bathroom floor was wet and just not well tended. Staff were great, kids enjoyed their burgers and fries. Nice to munch on peanuts while you wait, also serves as entertainment if you have children like mine.

Huge burgers, all with whatever you want on them. Great prices and great service. If you ask for a large fry, be prepared to receive an entire bag of fries, that don't mess around. All around a wonderful place if you're really hungry.

Had a decent hamburger, and their great fries here with my son and his friends before heading elsewhere. It was a busy restaurant and we all enjoyed our meals. I'm a big fan of the fries, fried in peanut oil. They're tasty!

A good place for simple and tasty burger. Free peanuts while waiting for your order. They have the self serve soft drinks with plenty of flavor choices. The place is really accessible and visible from the street. The parking lot is not that big and spaces are a little tight.

Very pleased with the happy, upbeat atmosphere during busy lunch time. Jessica, cashier, very friendly and helpful in ordering for stepson. All kitchen cooks and managers were friendly as well. Food was delicious and even during busy time it wasn't long wait. Great experience overall! 😀😀😀

Usually I love the you-know-what out of Five Guys! But most recent visit was so average. They messed up my husband's burger. Service was slow and not rude but not entirely welcoming. Maybe just this location? Not sure. I will however return because the little sizes are just right and do not cost too much.

I come here every once in awhile for lunch and the staff is great! Especially Lilly who is usually working the register. Every time I go she is always cheerful and ready to help you. I was in the other day and a blind woman came in and Lilly helped her through the whole process of ordering. Then she helped her navigate the restaurant and waited for her food to be ready so she could bring it to the table for the guest! It was so amazing to watch! You hired an awesome person!

Burgers are solid, cooked to order, a wide variety of topping options. But the best part for me, was the fries. Fresh potatoes everyday, the Cajun seasoning is fantastic and the offer Malt Vinegar which really sealed the deal for me

The team here is normally quite good (understanding that shifts rotate) and the food is dependable. The design and layout of Five Guys generally and this one in particular is not conducive to really savoring your meal however, and that dings a star. Get a delivery if you need to relish the food is my recommendation and avoid the bumping and scorching around.

Fantastic burgers!!! And the fresh cut fries are to die for! Oh, and if you are interested in where the potatoes came from? (Idaho. It's always Idaho where Five Guys was founded.) There is a chalkboard with the location of the farm and the name of the farmer who grew the potatoes that made those unbelievable fries possible.

Just a big, greasy burger with a sack of fresh fries, exactly what you want from a burger place. Staff is always friendly and gracious with the fries servings. Standard fare, but done so well. Eat there only if you don't mind smelling a bit like the frier.

Kind of spendy. Burgers aren't that great to be honest. Customer service is always A+. Wait times aren't bad. I sat by the windows facing Hennepin once and a line formed alongside my table. It was awkward. I won't sit there again.

The fries were good. It was fairly clean. Nice atmosphere. The down side. Service is super slow. The workers all seem very unhappy, they usually throw your fries in the bottom of the bag with no respect for the frie cup, its just a mess. Their budgets are average. Better than McD but they are other place in mpls with better bugers for sure. Probably won't go back. Hope this helps.

Typical "Five Guys" experience. My friend and I were in the mood for a burger after a long day at the hospital (he was welcoming his first son into the world) so we decided to take the 10 minute drive to Five Guys. The entire trip I was unsure if I was driving through upscale hipster neighborhoods or the hood. The parking lot situation is a nightmare, but that is not the fault of this restaurant.

The shameless self-promotion is a little off-putting, though - walls are covered with positive reviews from various publications, but if we're already in the door, we don't really need all those plugs designed to get us in the door. Went to five guys today and The crew members have very good vibes especially the kid with the glasses . Got my food In 6-7 minutes they were pretty busy for 3 people but the one kid was just killing left to right , I suggest everyone to go to five guys uptown . Great quality food

Best Fast Casual Burger Place in Minneapolis. If I was ranking burgers, these guys would be at the top. It's a bit spendier than Wendys (I usually drop 13 as opposed to 10) but the thing is made custom to order, though I usually go "All the Way" on a bacon cheeseburger to get all the non spicy toppings. Fries are made fresh too, and they put half of them in the bag, doubling up from the cup they use. They have 2 of the new coke machines, which means sometimes the person in front of you is overwhelmed with choices. It can get a little crazy when its busy, but I think its one of the best deals going.
