Reviews of due focacceria
This place was remarkable! A gem in the city I would even say! Delicious and creative food! The focaccia is so delicious and they even have these boxes that are perfect for sharing and trying something new! The different meats and focaccia sandwiches are some of the best sandwiches I have had in a while!
Great ambience and super kind staff! The building felt very open because of the large windows so it had some great natural light as swell.
Very much recommend! Also, they have some parking so keep that in mind!
I debated the 1/2 and 1/2 but settled on the smoked turkey street sandwich. It was delicious! A little salty at times but still good. I tried their homemade chips and they were fantastic as well. Will definitely be back when in the mood for an upscale sandwich.
Have been here twice now and every time I'm blown away by the quality and flavor.
The foccacia is the best in the twin cities, do yourself a favor and order one to go. The sandwiches are delicious, this time we got the Carne, tiramisu, and the house made chips and they were all good. The sandwich had high quality meat and a bright acidity from the artichoke pate.
The sandwiches were incredible! Super fresh bread and cute seating area. Chips were a little underseasoned but everything else was great.
The pastrami sandwich and cappelletti cocktail did not disappoint! Very tasty with fresh ingredients. They even gave me a cannoli for my birthday. The interior is very Italian– so cute. I’ll be back to try their coffee!!
I enjoyed eating at due! It felt like I was being transported into Italy! It was really good but a little more expensive than I anticipated. I didn’t enjoy the home made lemonade, but everything else was really yummy.
Best sandwich near the twin cites!! The drinks looked good too so will definitely come back and try more things. The pasta looked really good!!
Picked up this wonderful spread last night for family and it was absolutely scrumptious! I called in to ask for recommendations and Enrique recommended a great spread. He also took the time to fold it all/make it look lovely and had it done in only around 15/20 minutes! Couldn't be happier :)
Walk up window is great!
The beet salad & tomato soup were delicious. Can not wait to come back to try more off this menu. Seems like some great family takeout options and sandwiches.
What a lovely surprise of a great meal! We came here just expecting a normal sandwich, but boy were we wrong! By far the best sandwich in the twin cities and the tomato basil soup was incredible!! Can’t wait to go back and try something new. Such a cute and perfect place- except for the parking situation 😊 …
What a gem. Love the food and drinks here! We’ve been many times for indoor and patio dining as well as take out. They have great options for everyone and a deli counter with high quality products. We especially enjoy the Cece sandwich and the caramelized onion dip!
Hidden Gem! GO! My wife convinced me that we should go there before we moved. Now I am sorry that we didn’t go sooner. Nice snazzy menu of Italian sandwiches and salads. Many young local 29-year olds and urban professionals filled the seats. The wait staff all bright and friendly. Most importantly, their food is top notch.
I think their menu is one I will love to explore as I most definitely will return. The Turkey Focaccia and Tomato Basil Soup was enough for two and soup freshly home made. Nice deli attached, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in an Italian style relaxed setting.
Wonderfully cute sandwich spot! We had the carne, and each ingredient in the sandwich was delightful, as well as the decor and service. We also had the tomato basil soup, and it was definitely the best tomato soup I’ve ever had! And to finish it off, they have fresh filled cannolis—something I have yet to see anywhere else in the Twin Cities and makes the already great dessert 1000x better! Would highly recommend as a way to feel transported to Italy while being right in MN.
Made a spontaneous stop to try out due focacceria, very happy that I did. They have quite a bit of patio space. Looks like they have heaters for cooler weather as well. They also have indoor seating but it seems limited. They have a handy walk up ordering window. The aesthetic of the whole space is really nice and trendy. All the employees were kind. Parking was easy in their parking lot. I look forward to visiting again and trying other food items. The lemonade was okay and the sandwiches were good but difficult to eat because the items kept falling off. The cici appears to be best eaten fresh because it got soggy after sitting out.
One of the most wonderful places in all of St Paul. The focaccia is incredible, and their sandwiches are perfect for lunch or dinner!
Their drink selection is excellent and I need to go back to try something from the bar.
If you haven’t tried an Affogato, you must! I will return for that alone. Forget the meal- give me like 4 of those! The cannoli was pretty good, but probably best to eat right away- I saved mine for later and it wasn’t crispy. The pastrami sandwich was delicious- had a good amount of meat with great flavor. The price is a bit high, but for special occasions, I’ll be back.
Come for the focaccia, enjoy everything else. Life changing tomato basil soup, fresh stuffed cannolis that hide their caloric density beautifully, and a well complimented beverage menu of alcoholic and NA goodness. Simple, affordable and delicious.
Best Italian street food I’ve had in the Twin Cities. The sandwiches are great, the beet salad is solid, cannoli are awesome, and the rotating focaccia are amazing. The fig and Brie focaccia specifically is outstanding and can be a meal on its own. It is a little pricey but the quality justifies the cost.
This is the closest thing I've found in America to authentic Italian food. I love the emphasis on house made ingredients and shareable plates. Having the entire menu available for takeout is just an added bonus. I've never had anything I didn't think was delicious. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to find a fun restaurant with patio seating during Covid.
I tried takeout online ordering from Due for the first time, & I am super impressed!!! Their food & quality reminds me of all the great places in Italy when I was there years ago... SO GOOD! This was definitely a "save half for tomorrow" kind of lunch for me, but I really wanted to eat ALL of it sitting out at a nearby park that day... I ordered the "The Duet" sandwich & salad combo & chose the Prosciutto foccacia sandwich along with the Fusilli salad, then added on the Bauhaus Short Pants lemon shandy plus the cannoli for dessert... At first I thought the salad was going to be my favorite as it's a perfectly bright summer salad, but that Prosciutto sandwich was AMAZING with the tomato preserva, fresh mozzarella, basil & arugula... The shandy was a great pairing with lunch, and the cannoli was perfect. All equally amazing! YUM!
Online ordering was SUPER easy, plus staff were friendly & efficient when I arrived to pick up my order. Can't wait to try more from this wonderful place!
Cute place, very nice decor and ambiance. I had wonderful service too. I chose the turkey and harrisa sandwhich and it was great. Very simple, the foccacia was perfect. Cant wait to try a few other things on the menu!
An authentic italian food with a modern twist. The carne sandwich has a bold yet intricate flavor. The garlic bread on the sandwiches are a highligh. Friendly customer service as well.
Due is literally a breath of fresh air, from the moment you see it on Fairview Avenue, the parking lot and to the moment you walk in the door. The food is obviously delicious but everything about the staff and the experience is fresh, leaving you feeling better walking away. The staff always goes over and above, and are some of the kindest people you'll find in the food industry here in the Twin Cities. I'd go to Due every day, if i could. :-)
Just like you’d get it in Italy ✨ 100% recommend!!
my favorite italian place!
-great bread; sandwiches and pizza. highly recommend the carne sandwich and the pastrami sandwich
-favorite cannolis in the midwest! filling is with mascarpone instead of ricotta and they don’t fill it until you are about to eat it so the shell doesn’t get soggy
-during covid pandemic i have been picking up de-constructed cannoli and they have been working out very well
-casual done well; great environment to dine in (casual but nice) and don’t need to be formal like many other places with good italian food
-great italian beer and wine selection
-able to get samples of certain dishes before ordering gives it a nice friendly vibe
-great patio for the summer
-very helpful staff
-great for takeout!
TIP: If you go to the Menu tab on mobile *don't* look at the Highlights! They're outdated, no pizza anymore! Others too - felt like I was losing my mind, knew I'd seen it somewhere.
Other than that, I'm glad I don't live in the area because I would eat nothing else. Formaggio and rosemary focaccia was to die for, zucca ceci vegetarian sandwich was amazing too. And the dog loved the treat at the window!
Beautiful, warm, cozy aesthetic with incredibly simple yet flavorful sandwiches. My partner also really enjoyed their Americano.
Incredible bread and espresso. I would give 5 stars just for that, but there's so much more! New pizza options daily, take-home pasta etc, indulgent desserts in just the right size, and a uniquely chic and comfortable atmosphere. I can't wait to sit on the patio here in the summer!
This was a lot of fun! We had a great first visit here. The bread is AMAZING. I’d say it’s a little on the spendy side, but worth a visit. The atmosphere in and around the building is also a lot of fun. Definitely check it out!
Great food, tasty drinks (like the local beer offerings), cute patio, easy takeout via window, and friendly service to boot! Highly recommend! Beet salad and focaccia plate shown, pizzas and sandwiches from previous dining are great too!
Excellent lunch spot or great casual dinner location. Drinks are good as well and a majority of items are available for take home from their deli counter.
The prosciutto sandwiches were excellent, as was the fusilli salad. Great place for a casual summer dinner. (Note, though, that, if you’re dining in, you order food at the take-out counter and then they bring it to your table.)
Delicious focaccia sandwiches, cocktails, and Italian desserts, igh quality but still very casual. Great for lunch.
The actual Focaccia tasted good. The sandwich was fine. Nothing super impressive. The cannoli was smooth which was odd, but again it tasted good. Mostly it was expensive for what it was. The kids options were not great, and I found their menu confusing.
Our neighborhood just scored big time with this gem... fun, energetic ambiance, cravable food, late-night hours with craft cocktails & all within walking distance. Although, I’d certainly drive across town if not further for this Italian-inspired destination. OH. and the Cannoli’s!!!
What a lovely neighborhood addition. I had an oat milk latte there one Sunday afternoon. Friendly and helpful staff, enough seating, well decorated and comfortable atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a cup of coffee or a meal. Looking forward to coming back.
Very simple but attractive decor and a fun patio space. Tasty and quality cheeses, foccacia, and seasonal veggies. Friendly service and flavorful and complex cocktails.
The space and atmosphere is great, the ordering is unique and will need a quick tutorial the first time. We ordered the charcuterie and some salads which were excellent but the delivery/service to out table was a bit off. Might have been due to "just open" kinks though.
I grew up right in this neighborhood and when ER closed I thought ‘dang what could possibly use that space.. maybe a restaurant will try out the space but no way it’ll work’. Guess what. It fukn WORKS baby!
I had one of the spritzes and pretty much one of every type of thing on the menu and was floored by each one. Plus the space is lovely. Perfect summertime spot and will probably be very cozy in the winter. 🥰
Had lunch here. Just on my way to the airport. I’m so sad I wont be able to return because I live in Texas. My smoked turkey sandwich was amazing! I also had the beet salad which was fantastic! Their focaccia bread is outstanding! Such a fun place!
New fave place to get food! I've only had their turkey foccacia but it's delicious and the sandwiches are a great size! love the tomato basil soup and the dash of cream they put on it.
Come for the sandwiches, stay for the immaculate vibes. A wonderful place to take a break and read a book on the lovely patio.
This unassuming spot on a sunny St. Paul street corner has been many things over the years and this latest iteration makes me glad it is what it is now. Friendly service, great atmosphere and artisan focaccia were the foundation recently for a fun lunch with a friend. Street parking and its own lot make coming and going even easier.
The food is excellent, ordering was very simple, and menu selection is great. I've also used due for catering and plan to in the future with how great the spread turned out. I highly recommend this place
Amazing sandwiches. The focaccia is delicious and all of the fillings are the highest quality. We planned this to be our first stop for takeout after our son was born and my wife could have cold cuts again.
Best focaccia! Leftover focaccia is great as french toast with their wonderful fig jam and fresh goat ricotta.
My second time here. The prosciutto sandwich was good, but the tomatoes over powered the the prosciutto. The ingredients were fresh and tasty but I’m not sure they were paired the best. Also seems expensive for a sandwich, but if they’re importing ingredients from Italy, it makes sense. If not, the food is over priced.
Great balance of flavor and chew on the focaccia. I love that it wasn't overly salty. We ordered for pick up but the outside sitting space looked super cute so we'll definitely be back to sit outside. :)
3 stars from me! Praises: cute interior and patio, fun Italian summer drinks, and relaxed atmosphere. Negatives: sandwiches are overpriced for quality (trust me - no one is more disappointed about this than me!) and often a long wait in little to no line for service. It seemed like a breath of fresh air for this location finally, not to mention being owned by the stellar IE.. however prices don’t correlate with service and quality.
Really good sandwiches and super cute vibe. A little on the spendier side
Beautiful space, great selection including vegetarian options, full bar. Parking is tricky, so be prepared to do some circling.
I really wanted to like this place.....but I don't. I LOVE it :)
My wife and I live nearby and frequent due. After having travelled extensively through Italy & eating the best parts of the country, due embodies the best of Italian food culture. Grab some aperitivo (Italian Happy hour) snacks right after work, meet your friends mid day for an espresso, or take a lasagna home to your family that you simply heat in the oven.
Explore every area of this place, if you're a foodie you won't be disappointed!
Simple, fresh and delicious. Had the Prosciutto sandwich and the Herbed Ham Cotto sandwich. Also enjoyed the blood orange soda. Clean, cute place with friendly staff. Took a focaccia to go; also delicious. Parking is limited.
Had the BEST experience at Due tonight. I have been driving by here for the longest time and finally had a chance to stop in with friends after finding the bride her perfect wedding dress. We wanted to celebrate somewhere with a laid back, yet fun environment, with some bubbly. Due was the perfect place.
Enrique was the absolute kindest, helping me find vegetarian options on the menu. I had the zucca ceci sandwich and the focaccia dumpling soup- so delicious! We were all raving over the zucca ceci sandwich. We paired it with a bottle of Prosecco and had the best time. I will definitely be back again.
Casual and delicious!! The tomato soup was the single best tomato soup I've ever had in my life!!
love the lemon butter with the bread plate and the tomato soup! cannolis are so yummy too. only complaint is that I feel the food is a little pricey
Everything is amazing from here, no exaggeration! The prosciutto sandwich is a favorite of mine, the tomato conserva on it is to die for. I have had many a date night with my hubby over the Valentine's day rosette lasagna or made an easy week night meal of the bucattini with pomodoro sauce. The espresso drinks do not disappoint either. AND the astmoshpere is so quaint, it's a great cozy spot to catch up with friends. Has become my new favorite haunt!!
We tried four different sandwiches. Everyone gave it five stars. Good canoli's A++
Great spot. I have had their cocktails and focaccia. The sandwiches look really good too. The bartender we had was super knowledgeable and explained the background on some drinks and helped with wine selection. They have a really nice little patio and I noticed they have heaters for cooler nights.
My favorite focaccia bread! Super cute aesthetic and nice staff!
At first glance it's a little spendy but the quality of the ingredients totally justify the price. The sandwiches are pretty large and I usually get two meals out of them. They've also got a nice selection of wines and aperitivo cocktails
Great environment. I recommend it. Good addition to the neighborhood. Our food was excellent.
Only postivs things to say, except thoze kiosks for ordering though ...
I ordered the tomato soup with focaccia and it was wonderful - perfect for a chilly night. The soup was so flavorful and the focaccia was warm and drizzled with olive oil. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I loved the overall atmosphere too! Very easy to sit down for a meal or come in to grab something tasty to go! I will definitely be back to try more!
My new favorite place. The food is phenomenal! The whole restaurant is very well put together, including the staff and decor
We love this place! The food is amazing and the staff are always so kind. Their sandwiches are out of this world- so good! Locally owned and run by a family in the Twin Cities. If you love Due, try their sister restaurant Italian Eatery. So good! Top 5 fave restaurant of all time.
Okay, look. I visited Due in SEPTEMBER, and I still have daydreams about their exquisite prosciutto sandwich, limone pasta salad with sweet, crunchy pieces of corn, and adorable perfect little tiramisu pots. Just the best.
We went to Due recently for our first dining out experience since March! We were impressed with all the safety measures in place. Employees were fully masked, tables spaced really well outside, takeout containers and hand sanitizing stations throughout the patio. Highly recommend for the nervous pandemic diner that needs some normalcy!!
We ordered the roasted beet salad which I could eat every day, it's so delicious. The formaggio and carne box was excellent and the wine too of course!
This place is delicious! I always get the pastrami because they make the giardiniera and it is so salty and crunchy and fresh that I get cravings for it! Seriously huge bits of crunchy carrot that pop with the garlic aioli,so so good. The house made focaccia is perfect and all of the meats are exceptional. I also usually get their take and bake arancini balls because, well they are also amazing! I know they are pricer sandwiches, but they are very large and worth every penny. Very small interior, so plan to take away.
Amazing sandwich with a great outdoor area. Amazing cheese plate! Excellent lager beers(only two lagers on draft nothing else) and one of if not the best knob creek old fashioned I’ve had! Come try it! Excellent! Easy on screen ordering, no server
One of my favorite places to eat in St Paul- just a cute yummy little find!
Atmosphere was great loved the decor! Was never greeted or talked to by anyone.. very awkward and uncomfortable. There was barely anyone there and felt like they didn’t want me there. Food was okay, salad was unfortunately not flavorful but the prosciutto sandwich was good. As I was driving off, noticed that they were throwing away sheets of focaccia )-: maybe they should look into donating to the local homeless shelters.
Great coffee with a beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I will definitely be frequenting this place.
I've had takeout a few times during the past few months. I really like the quart sized sauces and pint size spreads. Their dried pasta is also very well done. Actually, can't think of anything that we've had that wasn't really good.
Great way to bring home a meal that is "almost" complete. due does the heavy lifting and we just put it together. A+
World-class focaccia and totally worth a drive across town.
I had passed this repurposed gas station (now due focacceria) a dozen times before deciding to drop in.. and now.. I wish I had done so sooner!!! They offer some of the best sandwich’s this Exec chef of 25 years has ever had?
Went during the soft open so things may change but I loved my first trip here. You order at a kiosk which is a little unusual but there are two of them so there was never a long wait despite it being a busy Friday night. The menu is sandwiches, pizza, salad, a full bar, and espresso, so this is basically my dream restaurant. Everyone was friendly and it's very cute inside. I hope they open for lunch and are able to keep up the quality.
Amazing food and great ambiance! The sandwiches are where its at. very cool little take out window. Love having this in our neighborhood! Only feedback would be that I wish they had a salad option.
We ordered side dishes and cannolis for Thanksgiving and everything was amazing. The focaccia sandwiches have been a favorite during covid and they never disappoint. I’ve tried them all but that pastrami sandwich is my go-to. The staff is always so friendly too!
We grabbed some items for Christmas and were happy with our choices. The lasagna was flavorful and great for our family of 4. Bread was crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside after following heating directions. Can’t go wrong grabbing food from Due whether at Christmas or just on a night you aren’t up for making dinner.
10/10 pizzas would recommend. I got the prochetta sandwich. It was absolutely amazing. Real mozzarella, tomatoes that taste like they were just picked, arugula on some of the best focaccia bread ever. It's perfect bread. I bought one to go. Bread to go, I did consider getting another sandwich, but I'll be back. It's worth the drive across the river to get to it. Also their covid measures: everyone is wearing a mask, constant table cleaning, and plenty of space between tables.
Had a great experience, the foods phenomenal, the bread is to die for oh, and that one curly headed kid, Luke I think, very sweet, good Service and he’s pretty cute. Definitely recommend
Due is the closest I've ever been to a true Italian deli sandwich experience here in the twin cities. Mind you, they're not perfect, but the sandwiches are very good. The focaccia could be a little more flavorful and the toppings are not as generous as I'd like, especially given the price. Overall, however, it's a great experience!
PS: try the tiramisù! One of the best I've ever had this side of the ocean!
fantastic focaccia sandwiches, their food reminds me of times when I visited Italy. my favorite one is pastrami focaccia - pairs really great with a glass of chianti they serve!
Very good food, friendly staff, super cute restaurant.
Today was my first time at due and it certainly won't be my last! The menu had a great variety while still being well-curated and not trying to do too much. I had the prosciutto sandwich and a peroni on the patio (social distancing!) and it was so delicious. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more.
I can't wait to go back here. So unique and cool. Unbelievable that they have a full bar in this tiny little place where they also make some of the best foccacia you've ever eaten. I hope they bring back the 🍕 ! …
Stopped by to check out the new neighborhood spot & absolutely love it! Excellent food (octopus salad is a must try) and a casual, hip, friendly vibe. Will definitely be back for a morning espresso and evening glass of wine on the patio.
This place is great. The sandwich I had was on the expensive side, but the textures and flavors really jump out. I looked at some negative reviews which left me wondering what people were expecting when they come in. It is a small place so don’t expect to sit down until you get there and there is space. The staff is small so they have a kiosk ordering system i would imagine in order to let them concentrate on producing the obviously labor intensive product from scratch. Don’t go there for the “dining experience” go there for the awesome food.
We’ve only done take out, but the food is so good. My favorite sandwich is: herbed ham cotto and my husbands in the pastrami. My daughter loves the bambino box. We got the take and bake lasagna for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. We will def be getting it again.
Went to the food cart for arranging-both the meat sauce and tomato options. This was our state fair week treat and it was rich and delicious. The outdoor seating was very nice and we would go back for more.
Cool vibes, great decor, amazing sandwiches with flavorful real cold cuts. I loved the carne with the garlic and artichoke spread. My husband got the box and equally great. Loved it.
The focaccia sandwiches are good here, however the passion fruit sorbet is AMAZING!
Due has a fun and impressive menu with great selections. They took great care designing the space and it is a really beautiful spot. Definitely recommend for a quick bite or meeting with a group of friends. Excited to visit again when it's warm enough to sit outside.
Dué is an awesome restaurant. They have a great array of various dishes, and the food is really quite amazing. The staff are really kind, the decor is lovely, and there's a great atmosphere. My only issue was that it was a bit loud for me inside, but that was easily solved by grabbing a table outside. I definitely recommend coming and grabbing a drink or a bite to eat.
The staff was great and the cocktails are even better. Love the patio. Try the Formaggio & carne box!
Cool concept with nice atmosphere and pleasant service. We had the beet salad and ham focaccia sandwich. The salad was beet dominated and had nice fresh flavor. The ham sandwich with fig jelly spread was a great flavor combination, though the focaccia was a bit tough. We'll return.
Shared the meat and cheese boards. Loved the fig spread!
I'm not the type of person who takes pictures of my meals but was very tempted. Very beautifully arranged and tasty too. When I look at others' pictures now, just realizing our boards are way more sparse compared to the others, so little disappointed by the inconsistency.
This is a fantastic neighborhood spot. The food is delicious but it's certainly not cheap! The jam on the ham sandwich makes it a personal favorite and the pastrami sandwich is outstanding.
Happened to pass by this place and the name is what drew us to the website. We ordered a take out of pasta and focaccia bread and absolutely loved the freshness and simplicity of flavors. We will def be visiting again. Keep up the great work!!
We had a great time welcoming Due to the neighborhood! The ordering system uses kiosks, which were easy to use and sent text messages to you once your food was ready to pick up. It was a smooth and efficient process! The star of the show was definitely the sandwiches - house smoked meats and delicious cheeses between fluffy, yet chewy focaccia. We also really enjoyed the smoked fish plate, both the salmon and trout were delicious and the accoutrements like lemon curd butter and pickled onions added fun flavors to the dish. Our least favorite option was the pizza, it felt like the ratio of bread to toppings was weighed to heavily towards the bread. This may have been because we had corner slices with more crust, but we really loved everything else! There is also a bar with wine, beer, and cocktails to pair with your focaccia feast!
Five stars doesn't come close to enough. Absolute perfection in a sandwich.
Stopped at due to get a sandwich on the way to work. The turkey sandwich was delicious and the focaccia bread was amazing! A bit on the spendy side, but I prefer to pay more and have higher-quality food. I can't wait to try a loaf of their focaccia next time!
Interesting place. Not sure I like the tablet ordering process. Confusing, impersonal.
The tablet checkout suggesting a 20% tip for no service is out of line with reality. You are not served, you get a text message to come get your food, silver, water. A separate counter sells and serves drinks.
The food is good, but both of our foccacia sandwiches were crazy salty. The beet salad was wonderful as was the Tiramisu desert.
Pretty crowded and busy (but it was Friday night). I ordered a sandwich and a slice of the sausage pizza to go. The pizza was a little dry and sausage over cooked. The sandwich was fine, but but at bit spendy at $14 for sandwich alone, no sides.
Once things settle down a bit I could see stopping in for a glass of wine, since it’s walking distance.
Such a cute little neighborhood spot in Mac Groveland. Focaccia sandwiches are delicious and lots of shareables on the menu. Grab a glass of wine or beer and enjoy the patio vibes on a weekend. Saluti!
Had a delicious focaccia sandwich with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, etc. Very tasty, slightly on the spendy side. Will definitely go back. Would like to see more gelato flavors for single serve vs. Pint sizes!
Simply the best sandwich in St. Paul! Absolutely love this place and have to limit myself from going everyday. Do yourself a favor and get to know this gem in St. Paul.
Due in Italian means 2 but should mean won! Cause they win me over every time I take a bite of those delicious and due(2nd) to none Pastrami sandwiches! Oh my Lord! And them cannoli's! Fuggeddabowdit!
Small Italian-theme deli with creative drinks. Order from a kiosk, the eat in, or outside, or take your order to go. Salads, focaccia sandwiches, desserts. Good quality ingredients assembled to order by friendly staff. You'll find families with young kids up to seniors.
Focaccia was delicious, space was lively. The staff was happy to walk through the menu. Great dinner spot, either dine-in or to-go. Looking forward to more visits!
Focaccia is amazing. Only reason not rating 5 stars is that our last order we received the wrong pack of arancini
First time here and loved it! Walked there on a lovely evening. Quite crowded just a few minutes after opening, but things settled down pretty fast. Friendly, helpful staff. Shared octopus salad, prosciutto focaccia and a cannoli. G and t’s were perfect to go with. So glad they’re in the neighborhood!
This place is great! Wonderful layout and concept, the people are great and the food and drink are top tier. Rebecca, Diana and Nancy, I really hope you fix your review for this restaurant as they are unfounded. Rebecca, I hate to tell you, but this restaurant is in the city so parking is and always will be at a premium. It’s not the restaurants job to make sure you have a parking spot next to the door.
Congrats to the owners for opening such a great restaurant in a great neighborhood.
was told about the place looking for lunch in area. everything from concept to location to service. the food was outstanding. hands down best foccacia in the midwest or maybe further. limited items keeps the bar above anything even similar. tried almost everything. and it was all delicious. hats off to idea/ concept genius. j
The food is fantastic here! Workers are very kind and know how to resolve any issues with the food quickly and fairly. Their food is delicious and fresh, it won't leave you feeling sick after you eat. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Very good food. Maybe a little spendy for sandwiches
A new restaurant in the Mac Groveland neighborhood. A new (to me) type of Italian restaurant. It was very busy but the staff took our orders quickly and accurately. The food was fresh and excellent! We will definitely go there regularly.
What a fantastic neighborhood addition! Such a great menu and ambiance for date night, family dinner out, or meeting up after work with colleagues! Fantastic, approachable menu items with a true taste and feel of Europe on your plate.
Pleasant relaxed late-afternoon patio experience. We split a caprese panino, beet salad, and affogato. It was a lovely for a casual date. The bar is cute, too.
I had one of the panini sandwiches. It was delicious! Seating is limited but not a problem. Has a nice bar for cocktails or wine (I had a great rosé). Will definitely go back.
Really good ham and fig jam focaccia sandwich
I ordered a tiramisu cup for myself, and a sorbet cup for my friend. Unfortunately after getting home, I realized they had given her gelato instead of sorbet. I had specifically asked about getting a sorbet, but when I checked the receipt later it had been rung up as a gelato cup. Although the tiramisu was tasty, it was expensive and I wouldn't go again.
Very good sandwiches and salads. Great staff. Friendly and helpful. They act like they are glad you came, nice. Need to come back for the focaccia pizza and cannolis.
Ultra cute foccaria nestled away in St Paul, serving deliciously fresh foccacia and solid pairings. Disclaimer, its a little on the spendier side (~$25 per person for a half sandwich, half salad and drink) but definitely worth the money. Decor is phenom too.
Personally recommended food: Smoked Turkey Sandwich, Ceci sandwich, Pasta Salad
Personally recommended drinks: Peach tea lemonade and their version of a mocha which is made with a chocolate cream and is super uniquely rich!
Never disappointed here. Absolutely fantastic food, which is only rivaled by its staff's service. Have been a long time customer, and that will not stop any time soon!
I love Dué, its a super cute vibe and everyone there is very friendly. The outdoor patio is my favorite and they're very dog friendly as well!
Love this place for a casual afternoon. Top notch staff. Great food. Lovely atmosphere.
Love this place! Whether you want a quick bite to go, or to sit down for a glass of wine and delicious sandwhich or cheese plate, due does it right! The creators behind i.e. in Minneapolis are at it again - can't wait to go back!!
Food is good and staff is nice but wow it’s overpriced for what you get. I do like that they’re one of the few restaurants that stay open late. I’m usually picking up takeout dinner at 10pm and there’s not a lot of somewhat healthy options around.
Perfect place to stop in and connect with a couple of mu friends and share some dishes and AMAZING drinks. I could tell there was a lot of intention put into their menu. Simple yet memorable. I also appreciated how casual it was and that we could grab and go.
Love the focaccia! A bit spendy, but you get what you pay for.
Really good ingredients. So so foccacia-- it's much chewier than traditional foccacia (I thought it would be better given that it's the entire point of the restaurant. It's pricey-- $15 for a single sandwich. Overall, expected a lot more for the price.
Chic decor. Handmade pasta to go and delicious focaccia sandwiches for dine-in. Nothing like it anywhere in the Twin Cities.
Custom cocktails! Had an amazing experience. Amazing food, drinks, and people.
Excited to have this place in our neighborhood! Our first visit had delicious food and wine. They’re still figuring out service but once this is down I’ll happily revisit my review and likely go for a full 5 stars. Can’t wait to return
really good sandwiches, tiramisu, and cannoli. bread was excellent. their pickup system was easy. we will definitely go back
Plenty of food, we shared a fish Sandwich and lots of fries.
Cute little café with great sandwiches made with fresh bread and quality ingredients. Good selection of coffee drinks and adult beverages.
Creative, interesting, and tasty food at this neighborhood restaurant that's finding responsible ways to thrive during COVID restrictions. Hooray for them, lucky is, and encourage everyone to support your locals!
The menu never fails and one of the best patios in town.
Very tasty focaccia available togo. They also had a nice space to relax and enjoy the weather, when it's nice.
I love this place , the focaccia is excellent, I love the carne sandwich .
Prefer the take out option but the place is cool too .
Really excellent sandwiches. Pantry staples are good too, you can make excellent pasta at home!
Enjoyed trying several of their featured cocktails. Food was fresh and delicious as advertised. I was impressed with the service team and their attention to detail!
The pastrami foccacia sandwich was delicious! Due is a little pricey, but definitely worth it!
Got THE DUET: TUNA CONSERVA Sandwich & ROASTED BEET SALAD
& Take & Bake BAKED RICOTTA MAFALDINE
& Cannolis
All were delicious!
Ok this place is phenomenal and I only got food to go. They have the best set up with outdoor and indoor seating and you order at the bar and then pick up at the end of the counter past where you can watch them make the salads and sandwiches. I had the sausage pizza and it was to die for. It had a smoky flavor and the perfect amount of flavorful cheese. It was a big square piece on their foccacia for only $5. I also tried the cannoli. It was good, but not too big for $3.50. They also serve serve cocktails. Would be a great place for a date night or to meet up with friends. So happy with this addition to the neighborhood and can't wait to try the salads and sandwiches next time!
What a total change of design and architecture. Great to have the Italian eatery in our hood. We love the new look and can’t wait.
Fabulous Italian cocktail, appetizers and sandwiches. Great patio with lovely ambiance. Will definitely be back!
Great concept,
really interesting architecture,
Sandwiches/panini very tasty,
generous portions.
Wonderful service and quality. Price matches the quality and consistency of the meals. Will continue to be a loyal customer!
Quant. Nice drinks and very good bread. Try to avoid peak times on very sunny days. Their patio is amazing.
The flavors and quality of ingredients are absolutely amazing. We were extremely pleasantly surprised. Definitely goes to the top of our list.
Amazing take out! On time, easy to prepare, friendly service, and easy online ordering! Highly recommend for any take out occasion.
Excellent food and amazing customer service. Had a slight issue with our order, and they took care of us, and then some! Highly recommend.
Cute and quaint place. Prices are a bit spendy, and food has unique flavors. I believe there are better Italian options in the cities.
Some of the best bread I've had. The box with the lemon butter is to die for.
We love this place! Great ambiance, really good food. I want to just sit in the solarium area with a coffee or beer for hours.
It's worth a try. It's pretty expensive for the portion, but the quality is high.
(it's really difficult to justify $3 for a can of diet coke though).
Wonderful spot for some authentic Italian street food. Highly recommend the romesco panino or the carne e formaggio box.
Ordered at the Walk-Up window, and receieved my food and coffee shortly after. Super yummy!!
This is such a great addition to the neighborhood. Wonderful drinks, staff, and sandwiches. So glad you're in the area!
Bread was amazing. Cheese plate was all right. Overall a bit over priced. Excellent service.
Great ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly/helpful staff, and wonderful food and beverages. A neighborhood treat!
Fresh, delicious sammies. The focaccia is out of this world. An absolute treat!
Great experience all around! I recommend getting the cheese board and the carne board. Enjoy a new neighborhood gem.
Adorable place, good drinks and even better food! Lots of natural light and super cute atmosphere!
Very Friendly staff with great suggestions on wine and coffee.
Awesome small plates. Beers and soup was excellent. A great lil’ neighborhood place.
Charming modern Tuscan-style atmosphere and delicious sandwiches. Delightful in every way!
Food was delicious. And I love that they recycle so much.
Beet salad, small focaccia pizza and a Carne sandwich with a bottle of wine. Maybe it gets better, but not likely.
Great food, nice glass of wine, convenient location, prompt service - very excited about this new addition to our neighborhood.
Reminds me of Italy - perfect place for a relaxing drink and snacks
Great food, and great staff. The focaccia of the week was the best.
Such a fun atmosphere! We had great coffee and pastries!
Customer service can't be beat. And every sandwich is fresh and delicious.
The sandwiches are good and the patio seating is nice.
Great Italian focaccia sandwiches and pizza.... Plus coffee... Wish it was in my neighborhood
The food was just "ok". Just too pricy for what you get. I'd be hard pressed to go back.
Everything would be better warm! The sandwiches and bread were good, but cold.
Really great bread and sandwich, friendly service, and amazing cannoli. Will be back.
Love the decor, excellent food, looking forward to sitting outside on the patio!
The food here is amazing, and the service is impeccable. We will definitely be back!
Great sandwiches and a super cute environment.
This place is my #1 lunch spot. Like ever.
Good food, drinks, casual, mostly unique sandwiches, worth a stop!
Best restaurant in the twin cities at the moment (fall is 2019). Try everything. Seriously.
This place looks beautiful! Peeking through the windows makes me so excited to see the final result.
Delicious local eatery, superb sandwiches, salad, and soup!
A little slice of Italia! 💚♥️🤍 …
Thanks for tutoring the pronunciation of Due on your sign. But, I believe in the correct pronunciation is "doo-eh-judge."
OMG the food is outstanding!
Homemade food! You won't regret stopping in!
Great lavender vanilla latte. Love the walk up window!
